Hey, I'm an ex-traveller kiwi lad who works in Marketing & IT. I have a passion for music, art, food, and atrocious puns. I currently live in Sydney, and am making the move to Brissy at the start of April for a few reasons: - I fuckin love it there - My 1.5 yo daughter lives with her mother in the Gold Coast, and i'd like to be able to see her more easily on odd weekends - My mrs (Alex) is going to be making the move to join me after a few months from NZ. She's got good banter and is almost as good a cook as me - I've got an opportunity to build and run the Queensland region for the company I work for. Looking for: - a flat with some friendly folks who are down for the occasional sneaky drink & a laugh, but also have their own lives - people who are happy if my daughter is around on the weekends I have her - she's cute as hell, laughs lots, and sleeps like a champ - for the room: after a large room to accomodate Alex and I comfortably, and so we can chuck up a portable cot for when I have Ahlia - ideally somewhere with a yard/rooftop terrace, a pool or somewhere close to a pool, and a parking space or decent street parking Ben Smith.
Hello! I am a full time student in my final year and have 3 jobs at the moment so I am usually pretty busy. I love cooking (and eating 😉), all things creative, socialising and chilling watching Netflix. My long term boyfriend works full time and skates in his spare time. We have lived together for quite some time and are also used to living with other people. We are happy, sociable and also chill people. We love to socialise on the weekend and we also like to keep our house tidy/clean and respect others and our own down time. If we sound like the house mates for you, please send us a message :)
I'm a student about to embark on my final semester of uni at UQ. My friends describe me as really laid back and down to earth. I've been living in share housing for the past 2 and a half years so I'm very familiar with how it all works and I always clean up after myself. Looking to find a place with easy public transport to UQ and Westfield Carindale (where I work) and also with some lovely housemates who I can become friends with too! I also love dogs, so if you have one that would be a real bonus but not a deal breaker if you don't. Feel free to send me a message if it sounds like I'd fit in at your place :)
A bit about me: I work most of the week (cannon hill area) I'm clean, highly considerate of others, quiet, and respectful. Non-smoker, no pets, no car. Not bothered by smokers, pets, or car-owners. I have all my own furniture, kitchenware, etc. if necessary. What I'm looking for: Looking for long term accommodation. Looking for a place close to public transport to Carindale. Looking to pay $100-150 inclusive of all utilities. More info: I like pets and the colour green. I like to shop at ALDI and local fruit shops and I like to live off smoothies and take-away. I need a decent internet connection. I am a young adult, it is the 21st century and this is important to me.
My name is Tania, I'm 25 years old. I work full time as a nurse, shift worker so my schedule is quite bizarre. When I'm home I'm pretty quiet, spend majority of my time studying and binge watching tv shows. Would like a good sized bedroom (preferably air conditioned) with some fun, easy going people who respect boundaries but will be up for drink and every once in a while. Looking for a place that feels like home.
Im a 23 year old New Zealander who moved to Brisbane a few months ago. Looking for an awesome flat to move into im flexible on move date as im currently staying with friends. Love a social flat where everyone gets along and likes to hang out together. I enjoy makeup, adventures, baking, coffee and outdoors/fitness. Typical girl right? Naps and Netflix is usually up there too. I work Monday - Friday in Mount Gravatt East so would prefer somewhere near that area. I have a vehicle so parking needs to be easy. Would love a room with ceiling fan please im dying. Pool would be a big winner too. I have my 2 young sisters coming to stay with me from NZ for a week end of Feb so must be friendly flat ok with them staying for that time. Room needs to have built in wardrobes and i have my own drawers looking at purchasing a bed but if one is available that would be good too. Not bothered about gender but prefer 21-26 years for fellow flatties. If you think we get along and you have something that suits me let me know!
4th year apprentice fitter and mechanical engineer. In my spare time I like to go hang out with friends, go to the beach or on a rainforest adventure, work on my car or see my girlfriend. I enjoy socialising over a beer and go out occasionally although much prefer festivals and live music. I am neat and tidy and have no problem doing my share of chores around the house, always pay rent and bills on time. I'm looking to move into a house with a bit of a homely feel, where everyone gets along rather than being strangers that live together, although I do respect everyone's personal space. Very dog friendly. Need a secure garage to store a car. Looking to move out anytime after the start of March.
I am a 28 year old female. I moved up to Brisbane about 6 months ago from Canberra. I am currently working in the city. As a housemate I am clean, considerate of others. I am easygoing and like to socialise but am respectful of others privacy.
Hi I'm a respectful and super clean and tidy guy, transitioning between selling and buying my next house (should be move ready in April, possibly sooner). Looking for potential team ups in advance. I'm friendly and active, I play Tennis, go running and gym. Love a nice weekend coffee and breakfast out, cooking. Hoping to team up with someone similar, would love to meet new friends out of the experience also. An undercover or garage spot would be highly regarded.
I’m moving up from Northern NSW to study at QUT. I’m easy going and pretty chill. I am fairly sociable in the sense that I like to get out and do different things, not just sit around all day. Having said that I also appreciate spending time alone to just relax and hang out. I’m clean and tidy and respectful of other people’s space and privacy. I also work part time so paying rent and bills on time won’t be a problem. I’m pretty much open to any living situation but ideally I would like to get a house with some like-minded people. Having room for activities is a major key but not essential.
Looking for two flatmates to start-up a new share house. Flexible with move date, budget and location for the right flatmates/house. I am clean, considerate and reliable. Looking for a larger house where we can have our own space but still be social and enjoy a glass of wine or dinner! I work full time as a manager in an engineering company and further to that will be starting a law degree in six months time, so will be pretty busy during the week! Have found a few properties that have multiple living areas, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms that look quite nice around morningside! Send me a message if interested in catching up to see if we fit :)
I have just moved to Brisbane from Perth to start a new job. I am an easy going, clean person who is keen to meet some new people in Brisbane who are happy to have a drink, but also respect boundaries. I'm into sports, fitness and a healthy lifestyle, enjoy live music and experiencing new things!
Heya! Without making this sound too much like a dating profile; I'm 22 years old, currently employed casually in retail while trying to break into the architecture industry. I'm easygoing, tidy, happy to hang out with (or without) a drink and respectful of others privacy. I do have a car so driveway space or on-street parking is a must. I like to keep life simple and am looking for like minded people :)
Hey there, Looking to move into a share house or rent a room somewhere with whoever, as long as your easy going and look after the house as I would. I want to find a place I can call home for the next few months and possibly longer if things work out. Living with the rents is a strain and I need a place of my own with people my own age. I work 5 days a week and most nights I'm either gaming or sleeping as I am all about work but down for a chill and a chat. I work for a pool building company and love my ute, so will be either washing or driving it in the rain when I'm not at home. Don't hesitate to ask for a lift to the bus stop!! Keen to meet some nice people, girls n guys who are happy to live together. :)) Happy to "team up" if we can find a place with air-con too! Its not quite a neccessity any more as the hottest times are passing but living in comfort would be shweet. Look forward to hearing from you. Feel free to send me a msg! Cheers, Christopher
We are a quiet couple who work full time and are easy going and easy to live with. I am from Brisbane, Damian is from NZ. We are both non-smokers, and have no pets.
Hi im Sarah, 25 and working full time in morningside weekdays 9-5. Into my fitness and seeing friends and family :) clean and considerate roommate who loves to make new friends and explore more of qld :) originally Scottish but I call myself a kiwi as I've been there longer :)
Hey! I'm a non smoker, social drinking, easy going person who enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, shopping, watching movies, and being creative. I am currently in Victoria, but looking to move back to the sunshine coast or to brisbane. I am interested in an all girl's sharehouse, and I would need a home that allows me to have my very cute, friendly Maltese dog named Molly! I am clean, respectable and mostly an introvert until I feel I click with a person with similar interests and personality 😃
Hi, I've just moved back to Brisbane after spending 8 years in Townsville and I'm looking for a unfurnished room with an en suite close to the city. I work big hours so I'm not home often. When I'm not working I'm usually down the coast or finding time for a wine. Looking to move in with similar people who are social but also like their own space. I'm in no rush so flexible with move in date.
Hi guys, this is daniel kim who is from south korea, living in australia for over 7 years. currently i'm working full time as an apprentice chef in a bistro. I'm easy going and get along well with people. Hope I find a new place with nice people. :)
Hey! I work full time in childcare. I'm neat, tidy and clean up after myself almost straight away (dishes not left in the sink for days on end 😜) I live an active lifestyle, hiking, riding, running and therefore am in bed early to be up early before the heat and to get a full day of adventure in. I'm not a party animal although do enjoy a social wine from time to time. I also have a kelpie x who is 3 years old and loves attention from where ever he can get it! My lease ends in April so looking to move out into a new quieter house. Ideally sharing with only one other who's around my age or older! Look forward to meeting you! 😊
Im great person to get along with always paying bills on time im clean and tidy i work at the brisbane domestic airport. I don't mind have a couple of drinks and watching tv or movies
I'm an easy going, clean and tidy person. I work part time at witchery and looking for a room to rent out around Camp hill / Coorparoo area
Clean and tidy, I have a clean as you go mentality. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates, and hope to find a place where you're not just people I share a house with but friends I share a home with. I do however spend a bit of time in my room and keep to myself so I'm not going to be in your face but happy to do dinners together (I can't cook, be prepared to eat raw unflavoured food, I apologise in advance) or casual drinks at home on the weekend. I'm a first year accounting student at QUT, so public transport nearby would be fantastic. I do have a car though, so I need undercover parking whether that be a garage or carport. I also have a border collie puppy so we need a pet friendly share house with a large fenced backyard (preferably tall fencing, as I think she's going to be an escape artist). It would actually be fantastic if there was another dog to share with too. A bit more about me... I'm Irish Filipino, grew up in PNG but have been in Brisbane for 18 years so technically I really grew up here! I go to the gym several times a week, I have been recovering from a few injuries lately so it's kept me at home. I'm the type of person that will push myself at the gym but later go home and eat an entire pizza.. I have no will power. If you eat clean, please show me your ways lol I'm single...I don't want to live with couples or single 40+year old men, nor families. Just like-minded people my age that are dog friendly would be amazing :)
Easy going ,genuine, looking for a quiet easy going person to share with.. I am a Natural Therapist and ideally would love a place/space that has a separate room or area I would also be able to use as a clinic space. If the property also has a pool, that would be ideal.
I'm fun and easy going. I keep tidy, clean up after myself and am respectful of others. I enjoy cooking, music and socialising and also enjoy my chilled laid-back time. I'm a team player, so I make sure I play my part and keep things fair for all. I love meeting new people, and get on well with pretty much everyone I meet :)
Hi! I'm a student nurse in my final year requiring somewhere to call home close to mater southbank. I also work as an assistant nurse so need easy access to the motorway. I'm easygoing to get along with, respectful, and clean- and that's what I want to find in potential housemates. I have a three legged, well behaved cat that I would love to take with me, and she is indoor only... Feel free to message me for further information. Hope to hear from you soon. P.s. i dont have access to my mobile phone as I am out of the country till march 3rd :)
Hey my name is Andy I'm 28 and am currently looking for either a room or to start a new share house. I have own my own property for sometime and have decided to rent it out. I'm very much do aware of share house etiquette, having been in one for many years, and am a very considerate housemate. I am a shift worker so ask that this be respected as I may need to sleep at odd hours. Also I have a dog, miniature schnauzer, 18 months old who gets along very well with both humans and other animals. In my spare time I enjoy keeping active and participating in outdoor activities.
Caitlin and I are two bubbly and fun full-time creative industries students keen to move closer to our university and our busy city lives. We both have consistent part-time jobs, will always help out around the house and promise to pitch in and never scab. We both have our licences and I have my own car. We a both super busy with uni, theatre, our jobs and everything in between, so we will be in an out. We definitely don't mind going out, and are cool with all types of people. Looking for a great place with wonderful people and awesome vibes.
I'm currently doing my masters degree at UQ and working part time in clinical research. I am neat, tidy and responsible non-smoker and love to bake. I love my sports (tennis, football, netball), watching a good movie and having a chat at the end of the day. Me and my two feather babies Louis and Meko (cockatiels) are looking for a new place to call home.
My Name is Tia I'm a Canadian, but I've been here in Australia for 16 years now ( just so you're not surprised I have an accent) I am relatively new to Brisbane and I'm currently looking for a place closer to work. I am a 32F. Working FT as an Interior Architect/Drafter. I don't have kids, a partner, or pets, and I'm a non-smoker. A Furnished place would be Ideal, however not a deal breaker if its the right place, and people. I was a snowboard instructor until, I made the move to Brisbane, so if you're keen to hit the slopes, I'll give you free lessons. I'm a quiet, clean and tidy person, and I don't like drama. Ideally I'm looking for 1-3 bedroom (1-2 Roommates) around my age bracket, I'm not fussed with being in a place with the opposite sex, and I'm LGBT friendly. I'm looking for something long term (1-2 years) as I have scored a great job here in Brisbane, that has lots of potential for me to work on my architectural career. For fun, I like to do a wide variety of things, and I'm always open to new ideas. Wine, Books, Meeting new people, Road trips, I'd like to give surfing a go, or maybe kite surfing. Be prepared for some wild ideas. That's just a little bit about me. Please shoot me a text, or a message, if you'd like to know anything else.
Very outgoing happy and bubbly person! I live a very active and healthy lifestyle however love the occasional wine. I enjoy coming home to a relaxing household and am very conscious of other people's space and privacy. I clean up after myself and love a chat :) I'm looking for a room with an ensuite and large wardrobe space. Also must have air con!
Pretty cruizy gal. I currently two jobs, one at a magazine publisher, the other at a sustainable fashion label and vintage store in Paddington where i get to meet alot of creatives and be crafty. You'll probably find me at the beach, a gig, a market, cafe or opshop on the regular. I'm pretty independent, clean up after myself and considerate but am always down to hangout, eat good cheese and maybe down some wine on a nice porch couch. Into living sustainably and reducing plastics also! Ps I also have a very special shark pool so if you have a backyard that could accommodate this, you'll be looked upon favourably x
Hi my name is Lisa! I recently just graduated from uni and i'm working Full-time as a Community Manager at a Marketing company in Brisbane CBD. I am looking for a flatmate who is like minded like myself. I am very easy going, friendly and I enjoy a bit of a chat now and then. I enjoy keeping fit by playing tennis, cooking and having a social glass of wine with friends. I am great to live with because I am an organised, clean and a respectable person who gets along with most people. I am however allergic to cats so I can't move in with any. Feel free to send me a message :-)
I am a 27 year old full time (mon-fri) worker in Cannon Hill. Just looking for a place to rent for ~3 months while I continue looking for a house to buy myself. I enjoy riding bikes, video games, cooking and just relaxing.
I am looking for a room on the south side of brisbane. I am up at 5am to go to work each day. Get home between 3 and 6pm. I would prefer a non party house but i dont mind a drink with a few people. I like a good yarn, however chilled personal time also is very important to me. I would prefer a room with own bathroom and am happy to negotiate rent for the right place
Well this will be the first time I'll be living "alone" as in without my parents. I'm excited and nervous altogether. I would like to have the best first experience living away from home. I want independence and I just want to start a life of my own. I would prefer if I'm sharing with one or two people not more than that as I am trying to have that peace of mind ha ha. My motto is SERENITY :) I'm a very clean person. I'd prefer no pets at all (sorry). I don't drink , smoke , go out clubbing and all that's similar. I'm mostly either at work , church, studio, various music concerts or at home. I am focused and very respectful of people. I'm flexible with the duration of the lease, I just put six months as something I wouldn't mind. I''m also flexible with the move in date and pretty much anything so that we are all happy. I'm single , no children, no pets. I'm a singer , songwriter and a music director. I'm currently a QUT student on a gap year. I've been in Australia since I was 15 and I love to travel. I'm hardworking and get along with pretty much anyone. So if you are a person who wants a chilled out and peaceful environment then I'm ready to move in! That's pretty much it.
Cruisey, moving overseas so looking for a nice place to live for the next 6 months and save some money. Clean and easy to get along with.
Quiet individual, who loves to keep to himself and is hardly ever home. I do like to keep where I am staying clean and tidy and will treat the property like its my own.
Hi There!! We are Tusmi and Ellie, we have been living together for over 2 years now and want to find somewhere new to call home. We are two female students (Film & Aviation). We are both working and would prefer person or people who are working and have a stable source of income. We make the most of each others company because Tusmi often travels to Toowoomba to visit family 3-4 days a week, so when she does come home the energy levels rise. We are looking for a 3 bedroom house or townhouse with someone/s to take the master bedroom. We are open to couples but are hoping for a couple that never or rarely argues but we also understand that it is healthy to do sometimes. We are open to location but would prefer to stay on the Southside. We are both pretty awesome chicks who love to explore and try new things, both very open minded and would love people we can call our friends. We have some furnishings like fridge, couch, tv, bedroom furniture. We are happy to buy fancy new stuff and start fresh. Please contact us if you think we would be great housemates so we can start inspections and applications together :)
I work full time at a boutique design agency, love music (playing and listening) and skateboarding. I'm super laid back and get along with almost anyone I meet. I'm very tidy. Love to be social but also respect other peoples privacy. My pupper Steve loves pretty much anyone he meets and loves going for runs so if you need a running buddy, he's your guy - and I'll join too!
Hi there, I am an easy going professional working gal, who is generally happy. I enjoy golf and bush-walking and having the occasional social chat. I don't mind the occasional sharing of a meal and glass of wine...I love to cook, play a game of cards or a board game... I enjoy gardening and like having a herb patch or planters for my cooking. I would prefer a large room with an en-suite or at least my own bathroom, air conditioning, some storage for about 8 plastic stacking storage boxes/bike and golf clubs, and a pool would be lovely. Cheers, Annie
