Cristy and Cheyne

Hi!

We’re Cristy (41) and Cheyne (43) — a long-term couple with a strong set of shared values that stem from a mutually bonded core principle of respect. This encompasses our relationships with others and extends to the high standards by which we maintain and care for the home we live in — from each cupboard space to every garden bed. It’s the cornerstone that allows us to create the functional, well-organised, and peaceful living environments we keep.

We’re looking for a household to join that also has a quiet, calm, and respectful atmosphere — ideally a room with an ensuite or private bathroom, or a studio apartment/granny flat — where we can contribute positively to the household.

We treat the home as a calm base and, whilst quiet, we are friendly, sociable, and always happy to share a chat or a meal if the opportunity arises. We’re acutely mindful of personal space and the needs of those around us. We understand the importance of privacy and the respectful use of shared spaces, which extends to outdoor areas as well. Proper consideration is always shown towards neighbours and surrounding properties (e.g., quiet hours and neighbourly goodwill).

We take genuine pleasure in keeping a home clean and orderly. This isn’t a chore for us — we proactively maintain common areas and any outdoor spaces seamlessly. You’ll always find our spaces, and shared areas, spotless.

We are reliable, established tenants with solid references and a proven history of paying rent and bills punctually — you will never have to chase us.

Cheyne is a skilled builder who operates his own construction and domestic repair business and is happiest when immersed in an audiobook — keeping his curiosity fuelled — and stays balanced through hiking. Cristy is a freelance editor, proofreader, and academic researcher passionate about indoor plants and photography, which combines her creativity with attention to detail. Together, we enjoy nature and the outdoors, and we’d love to help maintain — or be a part of creating — any garden or outdoor area.
