Hi guys! We’re friends from Finland who are looking for a share house with some awesome flatmates. Ideally we prefer having our own furnished bedrooms, but we are pretty flexible and therefore can also share one furnished room with two single beds. Please contact us if you want to live with two clean and tidy flatmates who are fun, relaxed, appreciate good wine and respect others privacy :)
Im easy going, appropriately social, respectful, clean and tidy. I am up for a cuppa and chat before bed or I am happy to chill in my room. I generally need some alone time at night to re-charge for my office job. As I am in a creative role, it can be quite mentally draining, so some down time in a safe warm environment is important to me. I prefer a home to a hotel any day. I like to keep busy during the week at the gym and or catching up mates for one or two dinners a week. Seeking like minded people for a least a one year commitment.
Hello there, Jill here! I'm an Aussie-Filipino swirl that loves artsy creative things and the outdoors. Currently a student at UNSW. Organisation and cleanliness are major components of my lifestyle so no need to worry about mess from me :) My ideal flatmate(s)/housemate(s) are fun & adventurous, but also know how to wind down and chill out. Oh, and are tidy please.
Originally from country Victoria but currently living in Melbourne, I'm moving to Sydney for a month long internship at a visual effects company.
Hello :) :) :) I am great to live with as I have lived all over the globe, literally, since I was a kid! I was a Diplomat Brat and have been to school in places such as Singapore..Indonesia & NZ.. The list goes onnnnn and onnnnnn. As an adult, I caught the travel bug and am an online coach and travel the world with my son, aged 3. He's a pretty chill dude, and very respectful of furnishings and space, as he has been to 11+ countries since 6 weeks of age, and more airbnbs than we can count! :) I returned to Sydney, from Glasgow Scotland, and moved into a house which is not as communal as I'd hoped. I wish to stay LONG TERM , ideally 12 months in a house, (hopefully longer if we get the right dynamic). I work from a co-working space (The Hub) during the week, and my son attends a preschool 4 days. We are out and about A LOT (coworking space events...parks..playgrounds...all the free events Sydney has to offer etcetcetc). I have to say that I can afford our own place, and I did this pre moving to the UK, but honestly, after living with people again, I can see my son and I thrive on it and it gets pretty isolating as a solo parent! If you tell me you are a quiet household or that you're out working a lot, without a wish to socialise at home with us, I actually think this is a HUGE MINUS. I want to live with people who are friendly, and well, we are loud ourselves -I play music , as does my son (expect to hear Fat Freddy's drop at 7.30am while we get ready for school...). If you're going to be sitting eating dinner in your room, we won't be suited. I'm a pretty chill person. In saying that, I like to tidy up, clean, and cook a lot! (Don't worry, I don't care if you do or not, I just like to ;-). ) *SUPER OPEN MINDED *RESPECTFUL *RELAXED *LOVE COOKING *FINANCIALLY STABLE *SOCIAL *SUSTAINABLE *DIRECT & AMAZING COMMUNICATOR (no passive-aggressive post-it notes or txts, ugh) *BRING UP ANY ISSUES EARLY & RESPECTFULLY *LGBT friendly *Great music collection, particularly DRUM AND BASS! I get that living with a 3 year old (***HE'S THREE, THE THING WOULDNT LET ME ADD HIM UNLESS HE WAS 16 YRS OR OLDER-HAHAHA) is not everyone's idea of an ideal housemate, and yet I encourage you to meet us, and then judge for yourselves! I come with good references and referees, as does my little dude, just ask :). Also, if you have a whole property you want rented out, I would love to go on your lease! *I also have a fair bit of furniture (dining table/butcher's bench/couch, artwork) which is in storage in Sydney at the moment, from our last home. I would love an UNFURNISHED PLACE. I guess I'll tell you about my favourite living arrangements that seemed to work best for us: BERLIN WAREHOUSE *We had a massive room and ensuite *The house was full of DJs and artists (perfect for my son to enjoy company and they were always making noise themselves, so didn't mind much what he was up to) *we got to be social and have company, but also enough space to retreat when we wanted GLASGOW HOUSE *This was a small space with one other gay woman and her cat. She worked a lot at a bar. When she was home, we were social and shared a vino or three while my son played. Will miss this place!! My son loves all animals and loves giving the dog a walk if you have one ! Spaces that DIDNT work: * People who are allergic to kids (they exist) *Toxic people who are low vibe and negative *If you communicate passive-aggresively via sms or post it notes and have no communication skills *Uptight/super anal people *If you are a light-sleeper (sometimes he wakes up at 5am, that's kids for you) ---Haaaa! That's what earplugs and wine are for riiiight? *If you work all the time and want to come home to absolute peace and quiet (we aren't rowdy by any means, but we aren't house mice either) *If you just want to sit in your room all day/night *If you're unemployed *If you're addicted to substances *****PLEASE NOTE I am currently residing in the Randwick/Coogee area, so would need to give my current housemate adequate notice. Looking forward to hearing from all the high-vibe lovers who'd be keen to setup a great space together or already established a space for us to add to! X Pixie & Zen
I am moving up to Sydney to do a masters and will be working remotely for a jewellery brand. I love cinema, my shtick is cinematic documentary, but apart from that music, reading, gardening, cooking, going on little adventures out of the city and trying to not use social media so much. I am a terrible surfer but love popping about in the white wash so i’ll be bringing up my board to ‘get pitted’. One of my new years resolutions is to cut down on meat and dairy, not totally but to lessen my impact on the environment, so I at the moment I eat meat once a week. What else can I tell you, I love architecture and design, I have a bunch of furniture but it all has homes with friends/fam (I recently came back from living OS or 8 months) so I can take as much or as little as I need. I would prefer not to have to truck it up, however I could contribute and have a lot of pretty nice stuff in storage. I am a clean person, I am a social person, but also love my quiet time. I would be interested in cooking together too, if thats something that you guys do, but also happy to cook solo as well.
Clean. Tidy. Respectful. Easy going. Love football and tennis. After a short commute to Town Hall station (30mins door-to-door).
I work full-time on the Sydney Swans media team. I like to run, go to the gym, explore Sydney’s coast, watch sport, play board games and hang out with friends. I grew up in Bathurst in country NSW. I am very easy to get along with and a clean housemate. I am looking for a place near Moore Park as I work at the SCG. I also want to live with people in their 20s.
Kat & Alex - 27y/olds from London, working in the CBD. Looking for place to move in from 25th March Friendly & sociable; easy going couple as well as clean and tidy. We are interested in an active lifestyle so are usually out and about on weekends hiking/surfing/exploring or going out drinks/dinner but also love a quiet one in for a movie night. Looking for like-minded flat mates!
Hey there! I'm 20 years old studying med science at Sydney Uni. I'm a mix of ethnicities (Australian/American/Indonesian) and have been living in California for the past 7 years before coming back to the homeland down unda. I play/coach soccer and like spending free days at the beach for a surf or chilling out with friends. I'm looking for a tidy home to live in long term. Feel free to send me a message anytime! Move in date is FLEXIBLE.
I am from Brazil and I will arrive on April 20 in Sydney and for 2 weeks I will stay in Egali's house, then I will try to find another place to stay. I will do the Certificate IV in Business at ILSC college and I am planning to work while studying. In my free time I like to run, play soccer, do some exercises, go to the beach as an authentic brazilian. In Brazil I am in last year in the University, so it is not a problem share an apartment, a house or a flat for me.
French student in Paris, I am studying computer science there with a special focus on artificial intelligence. I will spend 6 months in Sydney starting the 17 of February for a research internship at UNSW to complete my master and I am looking for a place to stay and to meet new people. I love music, I can spend hours just listening music, of any kind. I also play saxophone. I enjoy playing games a lot, wether it is card games, board games... I do prefer wine to beer, but I will enjoy both for a sunny afternoon and I will be thrilled to cook you some French food !
Hey, It's Derya 33 yo from Turkey. I've been living in Sydney for 2 years and working at the restaurant although I'm an engineer :). I'm easy going, tidy, mature person and looking a quite place to chill out and get relax. I do like having couple of drinks and chatting with flatmates and going gigs, art galleries, reading and watching movies. Thank you for reading all :)
I am looking to start a house with 1-2 other people. Seeing as I have the dogs it would be ideal for me to be the lease owner for security I am a 26 year old graphic designer who works full time in the Eastern Suburbs. I'm quiet and have a pretty strict routine on weekdays: working 9-5, going to the gym and and don't party or go out on weeknights. Similarly, my weekends aren't crazy and I would prefer to have a nice dinner party at home to going out all night. I love to cook and have a quiet glass of wine, binge on tv series and potter about in the garden. I have two dogs; both rescue greyhounds named Mandela and Chloe who would need to be welcomed in to the house and other members willing to be a part of their lives as well. They are little anxious babies so a quiet house suits them best Move date is not accurate. Just put in for mandatory purposes; I'm flexible
Hi there! I'm back from a bit of travel and about to return to uni for a PhD (science) but will also have reliable and sufficient income for bills :-) I am looking to live with people like me - around my age or older, adult, good at sharing space, laid back and low maintenance. I think living with others who have their own lives - are professionals or studying, are active and healthy would probably suit best. Having a calm and reasonably clean home is important to me as is having my own space and living with others who also like having their own space, but being approachable, communicative and friendly is also a key ingredient in the nice share house recipe. Basically I'm just looking for something simple, easy and happy. I won't be back in Sydney until mid - January. I can Skype meet you before hand if you are interested.
Hi there! My name's Sarah - I work at UNSW and am currently looking for somewhere new, either a bit closer to work or any kind of body of water :) I'm a pretty easy going, clean and tidy flatmate. Not a great cook - so hey, I won't take up the kitchen that often ;) Bit of an arts enthusiast - at my happiest when I'm at a gig, an art gallery, the movies, etc. I also sing in an acapella group, which is a lot of fun (and yes, a fair bit like Pitch Perfect, haha). Work can be quite hectic, so on weeknights I often just like to chill out in my room in front of a good TV show. I'm very independent and respectful of other people's space and privacy. But always keen to have a chat, or go out for drinks/dinner every now and then too. It'd be great to share with people who'd eventually become friends as well :)
Full-time working professional that keeps me fairly busy so I tend keep to myself during the week, but always keen for cooking dinner, doing a BBQ and drinks, movie and boardgame nights (I have a lot of boardgames!). I'm currently living in a large one bedroom apartment, looking to downsize to save money.
I’m a friendly, easy going and sociable person who’s respectful of both other flat mates and the space I live in. I work in TV as a Production Manager and when I’m not doing that, I like to cook, keep fit with yoga and gym classes and socialise. I'm looking for a flatshare with like minded individuals who want to be friends and not just flatemates.
Hey guys! We're a friendly Chinese couple,Aria and William. We are all university students with regular lifestyle ,quiet and tidy.I study business and my boyfriend is a IT student. I'm an outgoing person and love chatting! William would be a little bit shy with new people(which is pretty cute lol),but he is super nice. We all have a open mind and happy to make more new friends. If that sounds like the right roommates for you, feel free to contact us! I look forward to hearing from you soon:)
Hi! I'm moving to Sydney to undertake my Master's in Playwriting at NIDA, and my partner is an actor, so we're both pretty creative types. That said we love our downtime. We're both pretty quiet, tidy and respectful. You can catch me curled up with a book and a vino most nights of the week, whereas Dan likes to unwind with a few games at the end of the day. In terms of hobbies, I love to bake and sing a little, and Dan likes to play guitar. We also have a very well behaved cat called Millie who may pester you for cuddles every now and then.
