Hello!! I'm Eliza, I'm 21 years old. I'll pretty well say what everyone else does, but it is true. I am a super respectful and tidy person (no really, I'll do your dishes if you leave them out but I don't mind). I'm a very sarcastic person and most of the time I'm laughing. I work full time in Indooroopilly, and I would like to be within a fifteen minute drive to work. My current 45 minute+ commute is literally driving me nuts. Pun intended. I would genuinely like to hang with my 'roomies' - however I do like my own time as well. I'm not too much of a partier, so if it's a party household then we won't suit. My max budget is $250 p/w including bills. I can move late April, however that can be moved forward a little. I would like more of a long term lease as well. This will be my first time moving out but I'm very independent so there won't be any dramas. Please feel free to message me if my little novel above didn't cover anything. :)
I'm clean, tidy, respectful of others and their space. Easy to get along with. I work long days so not always home, but enjoy to be around other people when I am home. I'm from the UK on a student visa, have been here for 1 year already and visa is currently until December. Lease is up on the property I have been in for 1 year and looking to find somewhere new.
I work at night 4pm to 12am tuesday to saturday I have Sunday and Monday off every week I am a gamer on PC mainly and all consoles at my disposal I live by if you make the mess you clean it up Easy to talk to and would love to chat if you ever need it I have lived with women all my life and prefer to continue this, i just live better with the opposite sex I dont mind my roomies using my things I may seem weird but im one of those genuine nice people of the world very few of us going round nowadays :) Would like to live with two people working full time as i do
I’m relaxed and happy, and quite easy going. Working a good full-time job in IT research in the CBD, and following my hobbies (diving, photography, nature) whenever I find time. I do enjoy a clean and quiet living environment, as I’m not much of a noisy person myself. Looking for a green and quiet place to share with good peeps, a few months to start with but I’d be open to stay longer if things work out well...
Hey were Mykeala & Amy, were students at UQ and looking for some new housemates! We are after 1 or 2 people in similar situations/ages and preferably males, to move into a new sharehouse with. We prefer to move end of March but can move earlier if needed. We have started looking but would love to find our new housemates now so we can all look together! We are super outgoing, social people who are keen for others who like to be social and create a home rather then just a house! We like to have fun and go out but also still maintain a semi decent study routine! We are both super clean and decent in the kitchen. Mykeala has 2 beautiful cats and fosters dogs so our new housemates have to be SUPER pet friendly. We are flexible about location, we both go to UQ but have placements/internships in various places this year anyway. We both also work part time! Let us know if you would like to meet and discuss further!
G'day! Im Greg, and clean, quiet and easy going bloke. Who does like a discussion lol. By April 2nd, i will be well into my final semester of uni and am looking for a place to stay for a few months before I head out bush for work after graduation (as a teacher). I also currently work two jobs, as a personal trainer and an uber driver. I do have a dog, which i would love to bring with me, but also am aware the difficulty that can pose - so i do have somewhere he can stay for those few months before graduation if need be. Looking forward to having a chat! :) Happy to stay anywhere in west or south brisbane for the most part :)
Hey! I'm an easy-going, tidy, full-time travel consultant that can cook up a mean katsu curry. During the week I like to keep it pretty low key, but weekends I love heading to the beach, checking out gigs, and seeing friends. I play piano and guitar, adore all animals, and I always put my cups in the dishwasher. Seeking a social household, with room mates who are neat, relaxed, and who might enjoy a kebab after a night out every once in a while. Not so much looking for a party house, but I'd love to live with people who are like-minded, and can also become great friends. Pros about living with me - - I love putting food on people's plates, and I over-cater. Never go hungry again! - My little feline friend is basically a dog in a cat's body and will absolutely melt your heart - Steady income, great at keeping on top of bills, and I consider myself an expert when it comes to leaving the bathroom clean Cons about living with me - - May force you to watch a horror movie with me occasionally (actually a pro)
Hi! I'm moving to Brisbane in Feburary next year, and I'm looking for a place to live for the next year or so. I'll be starting a Graduate Diploma of Secondary Education at University of Queensland after completing a bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science in 2015. I enjoy music festivals, exploring the outdoors and a love of cooking.. I don't mind a night out but much prefer a casual drink and dinner these days, but I also enjoy chilling at home, watching TV and chatting over a glass of wine and exercising. Have a love for travelling and backpacking the world! I've lived on residence in Geelong, Victoria for two years, and lived in shared houses over the pass two years. I'm hoping to find some people I will get along with as id love to make friends and go explore Queensland with someone. I'm shy at first, but I open up once I get to know people. If you think we'd get along or have any questions send me a message! :)
Neat and tidy Responsible and reliable Respectful of others privacy & property Outgoing and a friend to all Open minded and accepting
I am a 19 year old 2nd year student studying a Bachelor of Arts at UQ. I am neat, quiet and reliable. I enjoy reading, watching tv shows and spending time with my friends. I have just got back from a summer semester in Italy and I am looking to find a place to live close to uni.
I'm a young, easy-going guy that's starting a double degree (business/InfoTech) at QUT and looking for a place to live with some friendly, down to earth kind of people. For fun I'm into anything from a night out, to a night on the couch with pizza and friends. I'm a pretty clean, hygienic kinda dude and believe in respecting one another's privacy.
Hi, I'm Julianne, 25, an exchange student from Germany and will be studying English Linguistics at UQ till November. I'm not a party person, but rather prefer exploring my surroundings by bike or on foot, sitting outside enjoying an evening breeze, watching movies, bellringing or cooking. I am very tidy and like it if things are clean (and will thus be a reliable cleaner :)). About the most interesting thing I can come up with about myself is that I can teach you how to solve a Rubik's Cube! :)
Looking for all-female house/flat close to good public transport, quiet and safe area and house, considerate and responsible housemates who are friendly but give personal space, and no cats or dogs. Fish and chickens are okay! Prefer similar age-range/ 26-45. I've received a lot of messages that don't actually fit any of that, so please respond only if you/your place actually meet these things - not guys, sorry, and please within this price range! I'm responsible, mature, clean, considerate, and friendly, and want housemates who also have these habits. Outside space for gardening is great, but not essential, and somewhere to store my things - about 1.5 cubed metres (garage space, under-the-house, shed, or part of a spare room). I'm potentially interested in other areas besides these - further east or north.
Quiet, clean, respectful :) I'm looking for an ensuite/own bathroom room, furnished, quiet location with only 1-3 others. Prefer not to live with children or dogs, cats ok :) I don't really drink, I don't smoke, I don't play loud music or TV. I'm looking for a peaceful place to live. I like some friendly interaction but I mostly lead my own life and enjoy personal space. Looking to live with someone with similar way of living. I have a car and would consider other areas.
Hey guys, so im a very easy going 22yr old student at QUT, i work full time in the city and dance zouk and salsa in the evenings so im out of the house a bit. i don't smoke but don't care if you do, i am not a big drinker but don't mind a quiet few if you want to chat in the evening with a beer. i like to be active and eat well, i fit in with most people i respect space and understand how to use a scrubbing brush :). the only requirement i have is that i move into a place with 6ft fences as i own two lovely rescue dogs, they are big girls and very happy with people, however don't like other dogs or cats so they would have to be the only animals at the property. i am happy to live with males, females, LGBIT people anyone really as long as they are respectful of others views values and beliefs and lifestyles.
Hello! I've lived in Brisbane for the last 6 years and am looking for some easy going people to live with. I work full time as a geotechnical engineer and travel fairly frequently for work (away for approximately 2-3 months a year). I'm pretty active and am always doing something but also need a decent amount of quiet time. I'm clean and easy to live with so lets get this show on the road.
I travel alot with work. I like music. I have some furniture already like a bed and big tv. I need a lockup garage for my car when I am away
We are a married couple. We are outgoing and friendly. We both are from Sri Lanka. I am moving to Brisbane to do my masters while my wife is continuing her bachelors. We both have a good sense of humor.
Hey :) I'm Kassandra and I'm 27 years young and a fulltime student/casual worker. I'm looking for a place, either an existing share house or to create a new one to accommodate myself, my bird and two puppies. I'm a pretty easy person to get along with and I like to keep a clean and tidy house. I'm pretty flat out busy with Uni and work, so we will most likely hardly see each other. I do smoke, however only outside. Please feel free to contact me if you have a pet friendly room or want to share a lease together. Thanks, Kass

I am an easy-going, well-balanced and social person. I am pursuing a Master of Social Work at UQ. Though, I am semi-retired, and have a solid and steady income. I keep things neat and clean. I would like to get a puppy in the next 6 months, so a place that would accommodate would be preferred. I also need a room of adequate size for my bed and furnishings. I am willing to hang out, go for drinks, and a shared meal when I have the time.
Hi, I'm Michael and I'm 31 years old. I work part time in retail and in my spare time I love to explore new cafes and destinations and also am keen on gaming both board and video/computer. I am a very friendly person who likes meeting new people but on the same hand likes his quiet time.
A little about myself, I'm pretty quiet and keep to myself but am always down for a chat. I am currently studying at QUT doing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts) so my space can be a little cluttered sometimes. I play a lot of video games mainly on my Computer and watch a lot of TV. Pretty tidy and will clean up after myself in the shared living spaces. I have a 10 month old Staffyx who can be a bit of a handful at times but she is very loving and house trained. If she is going to be outside she needs a large fence.
Hi my name is Macquarie i am 25 a working musician, guitar teacher and part time uni student, i spend a lot of time at work so when i am home i like down time, but i am always up for chat. We are a few friends looking to expand our group! We are fun, relaxed and easy going people who are always up for an adventure or even just lazy movie nights. We are looking for a place to call home for the next year while we finish our university degrees and work placements. We love music, cooking and trying new things with new people. We have all met here in Brisbane over the last couple of years. If you want to make a few more friends and have people to do things with, we are the roommates for you! If you want to know more about us, or what we are like feel free to send me a message any time.
Hi! I'm Araminta (Minty) 23, easy going, love animals, music (so many gigs, so little time) and food! (Food-based adventures also good). I'm fairly laid back, respectful and love a casual drink/chat with just about anyone. I work 3 days a week doing PR/events in the CBD so access to a city bus is a priority. I also love walking, swimming and rock climbing so adventure buddies would be good! I do have metal plates in my legs which means I get around on crutches a bit, but am fully independent and don't need no man (or woman or child, really) to help me with most things. Just figure upfront is best 😊 Anyway, I hope to find some new housemates and look forward to meeting you!
Hey I'm an easy-going guy who is well house trained after living in share house's for the last 6 years. I'm a sociable person who enjoy's company but who doesn't mind time alone either. I'm an animal lover who enjoy's movie and games (computer and board games) and am currently studying at USQ.
We're both pretty chill just looking to move closer to the city and sort our lives out. I have one little doggo named Fudge. He's a top quality lad and super friendly.
Hi my name is Craig, 52 years old engineer been in now for 4 months Brisbane from New South Wales to take up a new position. Hours I work are a little long but thats work life but I try to relax as much as possible. First task when moving to Brisbane, is to get back a little fitness, find a cross fit place to build up a bit of sweat. Like to cook and do clean up afterwards, sometimes share a meal and glass or two.
I'm very respectful and responsible, with a good sense of humor. I'm easy going and don't mind a lot of things. I keep to myself most of the time at home, watching movies/shows or reading. I'm tidy as my immediate environment tends to affect my mood.
I am a 33yr old Kiwi, I have mainly worked as a Chef most my career but started in animal care and now changing to early childhood care. I am very easy to live and i am very clean and happy to always do my share. I have two inside mainly cats, that are house trained and have lived with a few different families and are very friendly. I look after them really well an would never let them make a mess. I am willing to negotiate price on the rent to allow them to stay if needed. Thanks for reading this. Rowan
I am studying maths at UQ in St Lucia, why I don't know....I also play bass in a couple of local punk bands, I (try to) make video games, and I'm a awesome house mate! I clean, I fix, I mow....everything! I can also fix computers and phones and tablets and things, so there is that...
Hi there, my name is Nesha and I am 19 and 3/4. I work full-time in the valley and unfortunately spend most of my time there! I am a happy, easy going person who likes a good laugh. I'm a recently deferred Uni student and when I'm not working my bum off I can be found at the beach or with mates enjoying a cheeky bevvy. I'm always clean and respectful and enjoy my own personal space but am open to making new mates. I love animals and would gladly bestow love on any of your pets.
Hello! I'm Jessie, a 25 year old Enrolled Nurse. I'm looking for somewhere to stay either short term, or long term if the place and people are a great fit. I'm social and friendly, I enjoy wine and chats with my housemates, but I'm not a party animal. I'm not fussy about the age/gender who I live with, as long as you are relaxed but respectful. My specialty recipe is pulled pork and I love jazz and funk.
URGENT Hi all! I'm going to be studying a science degree at UQ this year and am desperately searching for accommodation (under $150/week incl. bills) to move into as soon as I can. I'm sociable (but also enjoy some recharge relax time), tidy, reliable for rent, and would love to get the chance to meet some new people! Always willing to contribute to chores and love to cook my own meals (veg.), plus I am good with organisation and living on a budget, and find it easy to get along with absolutely anyone. I'm always down for socialising or hitting up a club or two, but also don't mind some quiet chill time and keeping to myself. Overall just fairly easy-going and am hoping to find a place asap, so swing me a message!
Hi ! My name is Lise. I am French, now living in Phnom Penh (Cambodia). I will be studying full-time at UQ next semester so I am looking for a friendly place to stay :) I would like to find a sociable flatshare... and I never say no to a good meal with friends or a couple of drinks ! I also like spending week-ends relaxing on the beach or hiking in natural parks. Currently, I am not using my Australian number as I am abroad so please contact me via email :) Cheers
Hi, I'm Lenin Jacob, male 23. Me and my friend, female 22, are looking for a good house to move in. We're both students at UQ and we'd prefer a place that is close to UQ as well. We like to keep the house clean and we don't have a pet.
Love a good chat but also happy to keep to myself if thats what is preferred. I consider myself very easy going. Pretty into soccer and I try to stay active. Looking for somewhere that makes it easy to attend uni.
Hello, My name is Elieide. I'm Brazilian. I am going to study English in Brisbane in March / 2017. I am a cheerful person and also reserved. I would like to have a private room. I would not want to live in homes where you have pets. My level of English is basic.
I'm Hannah and I will be moving to Brisbane to study law and business at QUT. I am an outgoing person but enjoys time on my own. I will be just turning 18 when I move, so I'll be keen to party and have a drink but I also love to read and watch movies on a Friday night. I will be very dedicated to my studies and to working part time. Looking for a place that I will have my own bathroom in and has easy access to trains/buses/ferries so I can get to uni and work easily. I have no problem with sharing a place, I would prefer having my own bathroom and I would love to meet some new people!
I'm a Singaporean currently finishing off my studies at QUT and hoping to start working full time next year. I love cooking and baking so if you stay with me, you'll get to try my creations! :D Personality-wise, I'm very easy-going and friendly. I like to chat (but I won't bother you if you're busy). Also, I don't smoke or drink and I try my best to be quiet and considerate. My hobbies include watching American/British dramas, playing video games and drawing digital art. I love cats and dogs so if you have a pet, I would be totally cool with that!
I am an international student, 3rd year Psychology major at UQ. Looking for an air-conditioned room in a place with convenient transportation, and clean tenants I can make friends with.
Hi I'm Bek, 21 years old. I work full time as a Paralegal at the moment and am looking for an apartment or house ideally near the city. I don't smoke but I do drink on the occasion, easy going and clean :)
I am a 20 year old mechanical engineering student studying at UQ St Lucia. I am looking for a house close to UQ or Yeronga/Yeerongpilly, as I am a private tutor and my students live in this area.
I'm quiet, responsible and keep to myself. I do enjoy a drink or a night out occasionally but most of the time I love my private space. However I'd love to help out with anything if you need. I'm a graduate teacher but currently working part-time at UQ, will be looking for a teaching job next year.
Hello ! My name is Megan I'm 23, and i will be moving to Brisbane from Melbourne in February to start my masters of social work at UQ. Looking to move into a house with a group of people who are welcoming ( as I know no one) love to have a chat and a few drinks together and occasionally go out on the weekend but will respect each other privacy for study. I'm pretty easy going, just love to be around people. If you are really quiet/ would prefer to keep to yourself most of the time in the house we may not be a great match Will always clean up after myself If I sound like a good fit for your house please contact me :)
Easy-going IT professional, clean and (fairly) tidy :) My wife is a teacher working in FNQ, but my job doesn't allow me to move up there. I will live 4 weeks in brissy and 2 up there. Pet friendly (we have 2 cats and a dog up north) and non-smoker.
I am starting a new job soon and looking for a place to stay for 3 months. I am British, well-traveled, open minded, approachable and easy going. I don't smoke and prefer a non smoking house. I am looking for a furnished property, preferable own bathroom and bills included. I will be working shifts so I need a place that's quiet so I can sleep early or during the day if necessary :). I will have a car too, so somewhere safe to leave the car (on street parking is fine) would be good. Contact me if you might have something suitable. :)
I am clean/neat, but not obsessive about others' tidiness. I don't make a lot of noise. I enjoy helping out around the house with cleaning/chores. I work in admin full-time in the CBD. I am easy-going - looking for someone cool to share a house/apartment with. I love movies (perhaps too much), and books. And enjoy exploring the city on weekends.
I am considerate, clean and tidy and very fun to be around. I love hanging out but I also respect personal space and time alone. I am quiet, so don't worry about me throwing parties! I am turning 18 in April, however I am very mature for my age and I am moving away from home to study at UQ, and I am looking forward to being independent.
Brisbane born and raised full time worker In my early 20s and have lived out of home since I was 18 so I'm not new to the housemate game I work full time at Suncorp Insurance Tuesday - Saturday so you won't see much of me during the days but always keen to have some beer and banter at the end of one! I love cooking massive meals so if 'family' dinner nights are your thing that's fine by me. I can also tell when people need their space so don't feel like I'm going to be hanging around 24/7 Looking for a nice modern place with some relaxed people. Happy to pay extra for the best room in the house! Feel free to message me
Hi, I am a full time working professional looking who works in the city. I have a full time consulting job and I enjoy it. I like to go to the gym, read and also enjoy cooking. I do like to socialize once in a while and have really good banter. Would like to live with one other person ideally and would be a great housemate.
Hi hi! My name's Phoebe, Bee for short. Little about me: I'm quiet, and by quiet I mean I play way too many video games and watch too much television. Personality wise I'm bubbly, quirky and unnecessarily good at building furniture from a box. I'm relocating from Cairns mid Feb to start my Enrolled Nursing diploma. I'll also be working in youth / disability / aged care. This leaves me mainly PM and night shifts, so I live the slug life in the morning, but I'm able to sleep through a hurricane. I have a cutie pie staffy named Gorgeous-George (scary looking but a total sook) and a rat, toilet trained, named Madam. AKA the best cuddle buddies for movie nights. At the moment I'm just putting feelers out there. Even so, hit me up if you're keen on engaging in housemate shenanigans with a gamer girl who has far too many shoes for someone with no social life. Hopefully we click! X
I generally keep to myself, more of an introvert personality wise, though I do know how to be social, and enjoy having conversations with other people. I enjoy doing various things, from personal hobbies, to something sports/exercise related, to going to the beach, reading, staring up at the sky, etc. There's a lot more to say but you'll get a better idea of who I am if you meet me :) The maximum I'd be willing to pay per week is around $250. Would generally prefer to share with one other person.
