Hi, I have just moved over to Australia from New Zealand. I am a teacher who works full time. I don't mind living with pets (except for cats as I am allergic). I don't smoke and am clean, tidy and easy to live with.
Hi there I'm an archaeologist and am moving to Brisbane to do my Masters degree. I'm seeking a room in an apartment in a small, quiet complex or a house. Wants: - Share with only one other person - My own bathroom - Built in robes - Unfurnished room (large) - Non-smoking and non-drug house (and limited drinking) - Someone who is quiet and keeps regular hours during the week (quiet before 6.30am and after 10pm works for me!) - Socialising predominantly kept outside of the home Desirables: - A pool! - A lockup garage About Me: I am 44, very tidy, very quiet, and really respectful of other people's property and personal space. I'm very friendly and enjoy a chat, but I tend to keep to myself (studying, meditating etc.). I don't drink, smoke, take drugs or listen to loud music, and want to live with someone likeminded. I don't watch tv and prefer to live somewhere where it's not on 24/7. I have all my own kitchenware which I prefer to use. I also have a few pieces of furniture that would need to go in the living room (lovely wooden bookshelf, wood tea chest, vintage Danish coffee table, large gorgeous tribal rug, a couple of large paintings and some vintage Scandinavian bric-a-brac). I am looking for a place that is clean, preferably modern, with tasteful furnishings. I have all my own bedroom furniture and need a room able to fit a queen bed, 2 bedside tables, and a desk, chair. I have a second bookcase that can go in either the living room or my room (if it will fit). I am 100% reliable paying rent and bills on time (I can provide references if required). If you think I would be a good fit for your place then please email me. Alternatively, I am open to house hunting with 1 other person, so drop me a line if you're interested. I look forward to hearing from you! Cheers, Annika
Hey! I'm Emily, 20 years old and a student. I study at QUT and am a second year Secondary Education student majoring in History. I work part time at an Outside School Hours Care in Moggill and at Suncorp Stadium as Bar Staff. I'm friendly and quiet but still happy to be social with my new roomies. I've lived in share houses for four years and have shared with lots of different people, all ages, genders and nationalities. I'm an animal lover so pets are no issue for me, I'd say they're encouraged :) I'm looking for a place with easy access to public transport (specifically train stations or the 444 bus) and an unfurnished room is a must as I have a queen sized bed, desk and other miscellaneous bits of furniture and preferably somewhere air-conditioned because I am a wuss and this Brisbane heat is getting to me. I've joined a gym and attempt to go often but it usually ends in completing my Gilmore Girls binge on Netflix, my favourite pastime. I'm way too excited for Game of Thrones to return this year and roommates who watch it with me are encouraged to message me. Bonus points if you love Harry Potter. I can be a little flexible with the move date and am happy to overlap for a week or two if the right place comes along, If you want to know anything else just shoot me a message, I'm more than happy to answer any of your questions :) I'm happy to live with people in their 20s/early 30s, male or female houses don't bother me, students would be great so we can all suffer together at exam time! Not looking to share a bedroom though. (The easiest way to contact me is through flatmates rather than a phone call as I'm often working or won't pick up unknown numbers)
First year university student moving to Brisbane from Far North Queensland to start studying biomedical science at UQ. Just looking for a place, preferably furnished, where I can stay until June when I m going to be moving in with my sister. I don't mind parties but tend not to host them (so don't worry about that) and I spend a lot of time locked in my room trying force myself to study. I am however a sociable person and do enjoy a good discussion and can cook a few basics (I'm still learning). I consider myself mature and responsible, and will aim to keep the place tidy. I'm fairly friendly and outgoing but respect other people's privacy. I love to read, try to keep fit (but goodness knows I lack the motivation), and enjoy a variety of activities from hiking to binge watching Netflix. I'm very open minded and would love a flatmate or two who are nice and easy going.
Hey there. I'm Jess, a 30yr old male who has just returned from living abroad for the past few years and will be studying at UQ. I'm clean, quiet and easygoing. Looking for flatmates who are like minded.
Hi! I'm moving to Brisbane in Feburary next year, and I'm looking for a place to live for the next year or so. I'll be starting a Graduate Diploma of Secondary Education at University of Queensland after completing a bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science in 2015. I enjoy music festivals, exploring the outdoors and a love of cooking.. I don't mind a night out but much prefer a casual drink and dinner these days, but I also enjoy chilling at home, watching TV and chatting over a glass of wine and exercising. Have a love for travelling and backpacking the world! I've lived on residence in Geelong, Victoria for two years, and lived in shared houses over the pass two years. I'm hoping to find some people I will get along with as id love to make friends and go explore Queensland with someone. I'm shy at first, but I open up once I get to know people. If you think we'd get along or have any questions send me a message! :)
Hey! I'm an easy-going, tidy, full-time travel consultant that can cook up a mean katsu curry. I play piano and guitar, adore all animals, and I always put my cups in the dishwasher. Seeking a social household, with room mates who are neat, relaxed, and who might enjoy a kebab after a night out every once in a while. Preferably looking for vegetarian/vegan roomies, but that's not a deal-breaker.
Hi, I'm a Korean man who can make a interesting flatmate. I have fine cooking skills for Korean cuisine and flexible attitude. Most of all, I'm adventurous, so, I always enjoy to try any experience (which is not illegal, of course). Except the case that you are too stubborn person, we can make a really nice relationship.
Hi there, My name is Amanda and i am looking to find people to sign a lease on a property with. I am looking at 2 or 3 bedroom places in most parts of inner Brisbane. I have a small dog called Indie too. She is a black and white Beagle x Cocker Spaniel that is super chilled and loves all people. I have all the furniture for the house including couch, tv, dining table, fridge, washing machine, outdoor furniture and all pots and pans and things so you would only need your bedroom stuffs to move in. I would need a place with a courtyard or outdoor yard for my dog so i would be looking at either townhouses or houses mostly. I would like the house to have 2 bathrooms and aircon is a must. I work full time as a Personal Assistant and do Yoga and Dance on a few of the week nights so this takes up most of my time during the week and i am only rarely in the house to eat, sleep, and a little bit of TV. On my weekends i like to get outside with the dog and friends and love my coffee and good eats. Not much of a party animal anymore. I don't smoke and don't do drugs. If this sounds like you please be in contact and we can chat about future living arrangements. Looking to move into a place by mid February 2017. Amanda
Neat and tidy Responsible and reliable Respectful of others privacy & property Outgoing and a friend to all Open minded and accepting
G'day! I'm a friendly housemate, with a few years of sharing experience, looking for a new share family. I'd love to find somewhere where we can find a nice balance of hanging out together, sometimes sharing a meal or a drink, as well as giving some space where necessary. I'm generally fairly quiet through the week, and like to catch gigs or go out on weekends. I'm low maintenance, my biggest priority is that everyone is pleasant, honest and tidy. Off-street parking is also something I'll need, to keep my motorcycle safe. My move date can be somewhat flexible. Shoot me a message and we can have a chat!
I'm a physiotherapy student at UQ, looking to find a place to rent for 12 months while I'm on placement. I love cooking, wine/cocktails, going to the markets and keeping active outdoors.
Im a friendly guy who keeps fit and healthy. Spend most weekends spearfishing and diving so i cook lobster regularly along with plenty of other seafood. Love to cook, travel and spend my time outdoors.
I am a 46 year old lady from Chile. I was transferred to work here for 2 years but I ended up becoming an Australian citizen, very happy for this great achievement! I have 2 beautiful children 11 and 8 yeard old who live with their father in Brisbane. I am an easy going person, quiet and like good humor and laughing. I love cleaning and keeping and caring about the place I live. My favourite sport is cycling and walking. I work full time hours from Monday to Friday in an Engineering Company. I love pets and get along very well with children.
I'm moving to Brisbane in the new year (for a new job). I'll be working at Amberley so looking for something on the south west of the city. I'm pretty low key and enjoy watching tv, cooking, baking and reading. I would like to share with people who are friendly and would like to socialise occasionally but also respectful of space. This could either be a room in a share house or people who are interest in finding a place together. I currently have a lot of furnished that I can either sell or bring into a place, but definitely looking for an unfurnished room. I also have a small dog (house trained, understands no and is pretty lazy).
Hey! I'm an international student from India, doing my Masters at UQ. Right now I'm on holiday at home, but I will be back in February. I'm just on here early to put my feelers out so that moving is easier for me when I get back :) I enjoy a beer every now and then, and spend most of my time on youtube. I'm pretty sociable (not much of a partier tho), and I'm super neat and friendly! I usually spend all day at uni, so I'd probably rarely be home. I also love animals, and would love to live in a house with a pet, but I'm super allergic to cats and dogs (it's the bane of my existence), so if you do have a fur baby, it's probably best I don't move in :( I love watching movies/tv with other people so if you're into that kinda thing, it'd be great! I'll watch pretty much anything (except old kung fu/wild west movies). If you think you'll have an availability by mid-February, please contact me so we can get to know each other! Thanks :)
I am quiet. I keep to myself. I rarely drink, do not smoke or do drugs. I have a 14 year old daughter that I see every second fortnight. I have no criminal record what so ever and have good moral and family values. I am easy going and have a good sense of humour. I am clean and tidy.

I am a PhD student, at uni during the day and busy exploring Brisbane and its surroundings during the weekend. That means, I am generally quiet and out a lot, but I'd love to find a place where I get along well with my housemates to chat, cook, enjoy a movie or do similar things together on occasion. I am clean and tidy and, sadly, I am also allergic to cats. I like arty things, museums and theater, but I also like sporty outdoor activities like rock climbing, camping and hiking. Preferably looking for an unfurnished room or a place with the opportunity to store the furniture until it is sold.

I am very friendly and outgoing and would love to find housemates that I can have fun with, however I respect the need for personal space and appreciate time alone for studying and relaxing. I love to make jokes and laugh and I enjoy a good meme :^) I am easygoing and love to have fun but I am also responsible and reliable! I believe that I'm an easy person to live with and didn't have any problems with my former housemates. Just looking for some sweet housemates who are trustworthy and easy to get along with. If I seem like a suitable addition to your home please feel free to contact me! :)

Shalom! My name is Chevy, I'm a 19 year old author, blogger and columnist! I am looking for a cool guy or gal to stay with in or around the city from January onwards in order to look for part/full time work. I can teach you Hebrew phrases and cook you Kebabs. We can be partners, conspirators. We will plot our takeover. It will be just like in the movies. I've grown up in the suburbs and also in the sticks - I lived in a small rural town, in fact so small it can no longer even be found on maps, and attended a school with only twelve or so other students (what?). Shortly after moving to the suburbs, the school closed down and the town was virtually abandoned. I grew up in Upper Caboolture for about eight years before moving West to Kilcoy, where I have been for the last six or so years. In my spare time I am a blogger and a collumnist, and I am about to publish a non-ficton book on the changing dynamic of power in the Middle East. At the same time I play Minecraft and my eating habits are ridiculous, so I am still quite the typical teenager. Just a little different. Let's you and I get in contact!
