Hi guys! A few things about us: We’re both in our last year at QUT and both have part-time jobs. We are very considerate and easy-going housemates who prefer a quiet place to live in. Though we’re always up for a conversation, we also respect everybody’s space and privacy. More importantly, we’re also always on time with our bills and well-organised with our own things.
Full time worker, clean and tidy, non smoker, no pets and guarantee I will never ever bring coriander home!! If you are a smoker or have pets that's not a problem. Looking to move between now and January. Prefer to share with only 1 other person and my own bathroom is a must. I have all my own furniture. I respect housemates privacy but also up for a drink or a chat. Feel free to message with any questions. Cheers
Hi! I'm Emma, 23 years old from Brisbane. Looking for a new place to live with some cool, like-minded people.

Hey everyone! I'm a first year guitar student at the Queensland Conservatorium, looking for a place to move into around mid January of next year. I work at Kmart, and I've lived out of home for a year. While I'm a big fan of low key hangs, I'm content to keep to myself. I'm into yoga, running and music, so I like to think I'm healthy enough!
Hello! My name is Lily , I work 6-7 nights a week as a bartender. I also run my own artistry business. Im quite sociable and easy to get along with , with my positive attitude and go with the punches mentality. Im moving from living on my own, and I like to live cleanly and respect my stuff and household items. My friends describe me as quirky and ball of fun. I dont smoke but if you want to have a chat with a sneaky bevvy , I won't say no! Also I'd be moving in initially and then my partner /Carer would be moving up in feb 2019. Andrew , works away and we maintain a long distance relationship, he works part-time at his local woolworths, and would be hopefully joining me in the sunshine state around late February. WE share the same creative outlets , and his interests include Kanye and good food.

I am 26 years old working full-time as a biomedical researcher at UQ. I am currently living on the north side of Brisbane but would love to be a little closer to work. I am a clean, friendly, easy going housemate who works pretty long hours, including some weekends so will not be around too much. However, am always up chat or sharing a drink or two with my housemates. I am definitely past my party days so in my time off I love to cook, enjoy getting outdoors, spending a quiet night watching a good tv show or movie or heading back to the Sunshine Coast to visit the family.
I can cook. Clean myself up. Like staying nice and tidy. Can't stand it being too messy 😁.
About myself I’m working as a research assistant in the University of Queensland. I’m clean and tidy as well as easy going person to live with. I’m completely a non-smoker and very friendly. I’m also socially outgoing (on most days) and would love to sit and talk over drinks. I’ll respect your space and privacy and I expect the same from you. Would love to get to know people from all walks! Need a furnished room, basics will do (mattress, clothes rack or drawers).
Let's be housemates! My name is Luke, I'm 28 and I work full-time in IT for an NGO as a UC Engineer. I have a 11 month old Golden Retriever named Atlas. I'm clean, tidy, don't smoke and don't really drink often but that doesn't mean I'm not down to have a chat with a drink or two sometimes. I aim to go to the gym before/after work most days and try to be out of the house where possible with Atlas however if I'm busy I tend to keep to myself. If I am home, I tend to keep to my own spaces but happy to hang out sometimes as I enjoy a homey/friendly home. After work I like to relax, I will usually aim to go to the gym, walk Atlas then hang out on my computer or room. On the weekends, I tend to visit friends, study or take Atlas somewhere. I am flexible with my move date, however I do need to vacate the current property by December 31. Preferably any time after December 17 but I'll make it work if needed! I have a brand new fridge, brand new washing machine/dryer combo and my own room furnishings. Atlas: Loves people and other dogs, he's a huge dork and loves a good play. He’s well behaved and doesn’t at all bark other than if you’re with him and he wants to play. Sometimes sooks if he knows someone’s home and he’s outside but just ignore him and he realises super quick. Completely house trained and I look after him completely, so I won't put that burden on you! But you're by all means free to take him for walks and spend as much time with him if you'd like.
My name is Steve and 39 years old. Very active kinda person, playing touch every Mondays and Wednesdays. Very sociable and down to earth personality. I'm looking for a place to live and I spend most of my time at work and sports. None smoke nor heavy drinker just enjoy a quiet one.
I'm thoughtful - anyone that has lived with me has probably been the gracious recipient of baked goods either when they're down or we're celebrating. I'm funny - well at least I make myself laugh. I'm respectful - sometimes my downfall though because my expectations of others can be crushed sometimes by their behavior. I'm not OCD clean- a basket of washing left on the couch for a couple of days doesn't bother me but someone who has not cleaned a place where one needs to cook and eat does. I'm not a party house kind of person - but I really don't mind a friend or two over every now and then :) Note: I'm looking for a private room with an ensuite :) and bills incl.
I am super clean, tidy, quiet and respectful of others stuff and space. I don't mind pets as long as the house is clean. Happy to be social on occasions, but mainly looking for a quiet place to study and live. I'm still new to Brisbane so I spend days off going out or having weekends away. I'm flexible with locations and I'm looking to move around mid October. I don't have any furniture so furnished would be great. I'm a bit flexible on price depending on the right place.
Name is Hayden 24yr old male. am working fulltime as a carpenter. Into fitness and like to chillout and have a few drinks once and a while. Have 2 young boys aged 4 and 2. They will only be with me on most weekends, I'm out most of the time with them as they drive me crazy if they stay inside for too long. Preferably looking for a granny flat or like a downstairs studio of a 2 story huse but am open to other living plans. If you want to know more don't hesitate to ask. thanks
I'm studying Pharmacy at UQ full-time and I work part-time. I'm a quite a clean person. I like to go out on the weekends. Sometimes my boyfriend or friends like to stay over. I'm looking to move out within the next month.
I come with an 8 month old Chow Chow named Amiga. My dog is very friendly, desexed, obedient, toilet trained, chubby and lazy, but very adorable and naturally cute. I clean as I go. Love to be organised and that means being tidy. I am told that I am outgoing and bubbly. Although, I like to chill by taking naps or even just binge watch a series every now and then. I like to leave the drama to the reality tv stars. I am very respectful toward your own space and alone time. Will be as social if you want me to. I like to keep fit by going gym, and TRYYYYY eat healthily. Sometimes Amiga and I will sleep at my boyfriend's house. On the weekends I generally try go see friends on the coast's, or take Amiga camping or 4WD. Pretty into the BCF life. I also have 1 more subject at uni in 2019, which technically still makes me a student. I practically have an entire bedroom, and dining room and kitchen stuff. except for the big appliances household.
Please note that I won't be able to move before 20th January 2019 and I'm only free for viewings from 12th January 2019. I’m coming to Brisbane to study for 2 years and would like to find a nice home to live in. I’m from the UK and will be taking a break from my 12 year career in technology to study at a college in the CBD. I’ve lived on my own before and also own a house in the UK, so I know what it takes to look after a home. I’m not after a party house and prefer something a bit quieter. I'm hoping for a social house that respects quiet time on school nights;) I clean up after myself in common areas and keep my mess in my room. I like to get out in nature during my spare time and hope to do a little bit of travelling too. Sometimes, I may prefer to just chill out at home. Once I have found suitable accommodation to settle in to, I will get some part time office work to help pay the bills. A good functional kitchen is a must, a shared living area would also be ideal and perhaps a garden but the garden isn't essential. Good access to transport links is a must as I won’t have a car of my own. I’ll need access to the internet to enable me to do some home study. I am open to other areas not listed in my profile, the ones I’ve listed are just a few I’m familiar with. Preferably no further than fare zone 2 on the train network. Get in touch! Please only contact me via Flatmates in the first instance. I tend not to respond to unknown messages on my mobile. Thank you.
Searching for: - Ideally sharing with 1 other (Max x2) - Large room or 2x rooms - Air-conditioned room - Ensuite or own bathroom - Unfurnished - Up to $300 for 1.5-2 rooms (cost of storage considered) - Preference for shared bills - Quiet location (not really city/valley) - Close by access to transport to the city - Pets are ok and welcomed :) - Professionals or quiet students - Non-smoking house please About Me: Hi, I'm Nicole. I'm 30 and work full-time in the CBD, enjoy social sport and enjoy quiet activities at home such as reading, art or the odd reality show :) I also enjoy going out for breakfast, coffee and browsing vintage stores or markets on the weekends. I'm not into a party house, loud music or too much socialising at home (outside of the housemates) as home for me is for relaxing after a long day or week. I'm keen to live with someone who shares a similar mindset around respecting and compromising in a shared space so that everyone is comfortable and happy. It would be lovely to meet a new friend and have a wine if it works out but I'm also keen to have some personal space and a good house layout. I'd definitely love to share with a cat or small dog as I haven't been able to get one myself. I'm currently renting a townhouse to share but the owner has chosen to sell last minute. This means I'm flexible on dates and periods at the moment. Ideally I'd like the same set-up which is 3-beds+ between 2 and I'd also consider renting two adjacent rooms and bathroom if its close to budget. I do have a house of furniture (lounge, fridge, washing machine, TVs etc.) so ideally I could use some, or store some in a garage, but for the right room and price I will put this into storage. Reasonable storage is a must. If you think we would work well together or you have a set-up that would suit me, please let me know and send me a message :)
Professional, sensible, courteous, clean and responsible male. Just moved back to Brisbane and will be buying a house in the next 6 months but am looking to share or get my own place to rent while I settle back in and get used to Brissy again. Find our the best suburbs, cafes, restaurants and lifestyle here. I work out at the airport but don’t necessarily need to live that close to there. Have a small dog and do a lot of outdoors stuff in my downtime including in rescue ops on weekends. I have some furniture and things in storage but ideally looking for something furnished however can get my furniture out of storage. Hope this helps Regards Sean
From London and Loughborough. We recently did a ski season in The Alps, France for 6 months and have just got back from a month in India. Jack will be playing semi professional rugby and Emily will be working full time.
I'm a pretty chill person. I just graduated uni so I've been working on retail and on the look out for other jobs. I work in retail so I'm usually out of the house most weekends. On my days off I usually just stay home and relax or go to the gym. If I have plans with friends, then ill go out for dinner or drinks as well.
Hi future flatmates, My partner and I are looking for a temporary room/ studio/whole place for rent between 3 and 6 months, as we are between houses we would ideally like somewhere furnished as all of our belongings are locked away in storage. Were friendly people who keep to ourselves and mind our own business, but we don't mind a little drink here and there either, were very clean and respectful of others. We look forward to hearing from you. Thanks Steph.
Easy going / laidback. Clean and tidy. Respectful of others space. I Like to go out and do fun things and enjoy a drink every now and then :) looking for a modern apartment /unit to move into or team up to find a new share house.
I'm a 21 Year old IT Technician and Network Admin, working full time in Darra. Clean and organized guy with a love of classical guitar. Looking for a place with a decent amount of room, with privacy for myself and for others any others I'd be living with. Internet is a must. Would prefer own bathroom.
Hey i am currently looking for a share house arrangement with a like minded person. I am currently looking for a place to live in Sherwood. I work - full time generally outside the house by 7 back 530. Outside of that I like go do some fitness cook and read I love to cook so shared meals on occasion are well in line. Most importantly, im considerateness respectful and clean I hope to look for someone soon so we can arrange something please feel free to contact me to discuss. I am strictly looking for people of good nature and drama free. Someone that can develop a friendship with aswell but also respect each other's privacy just don't want to come to a place and feel that's all it is a home starts with good company so I think it's a win win for both.
I am a Canadian travelling to Australia on a working holiday visa beginning in January. I currently work as an auto mechanic, but I have previously worked and studied culinary arts in a high end restaurant. My hope is to return to this career path during my stay in Brisbane, and wouldn’t mind cooking dinner every now and again to show off my skills. I don’t smoke, and I am a relatively clean and organized person. I tend to fit well in any kind of social group so I’m easy to get along with. Overall I just try to have fun and just enjoy my time, as well as my time with others as much as I can, and try to get the most out of life, and hopefully this matches with a potential flatmate looking to take me in on my long term holiday!
I am a 25 years old Dane, currently studying International Security and Law at master level in Denmark and I'm now about to write my final thesis. I have almost three years of experience with sharing a flat and I understand the importance of respect and communication as well as individual responsibility for cleaning up after yourself. I already have some experience with living in Brisbane as I conducted an internship as a student research assistant at UQ from August 2018 I am well organized, honest, and happy. I enjoy being social, cooking, and having fun with my friends. I have an Australian girlfriend who lives in Brisbane, and who I would like to be able to invite over from time to time.
I am easy going, social and enjoy a relaxed home life, travel occasionally. I'm also clean, tidy and don't mind helping out around the place (cleaning/cooking) as well as respectful of people's personal space and property. I'm currently working at Ipswich Hospital and starting university next year. For fun I enjoy music, going to the cinema and journalling.
Hello there! I am considerate and respectful of others I live with including their property. I love to be in a neat environment. Tend to keep to myself but not antisocial by any means. I am really cool and get along quickly. I have really good history with previous leases and can provide references as well. Apart from that I am a graphic designer but here for studies and work in the carpentry industry. Quite active guy and lives a healthy life.
Looking for a change of scenery and to move out of home! I have a respectable job. I don't mind the company of others but also don't mind my own company. I'm a fairly happy soul, exercise, can cook, and I'm kept tidy. I own 1 young cat named harpo and a motorbike so space to park that off the street would be preferred.
