I am an International student, came from Indian and studying at UQ. An engineer by profession and photographer by passion. Cooking delicious cuisine is my weakness and I got this from my mom who is a culinary expert. I am a decent human being who loves to live in a quiet environment and hanging out with friends occasionally. My weekends are quite boring due to study load but I love to go fishing when I have a day off.
Hi! I’m looking to move from Sydney up to Brisbane in September. Ideally Indooroopilly area (within 10 minutes drive) to be close to friends. I am looking for either: - somewhere I can live for at least three months, possibly longer term if we get on well, as I plan to stay in Brisbane for at least two years. - start a new sharehouse in a house with a big fenced yard, aircon, modern kitchen and bathroom, for 12 months I’m very chill, easy to get along with, tidy, I don’t make a lot of noise, and like to keep to myself most of the time. I like country music, watching Netflix, and finding fun things to do with my dog. I’m not much of a partier anymore but I don’t mind a quiet drink. My biggest flaw as a housemate is probably that I smoke (outside only), though I am very considerate about it. I’ll be doing temp/contract work so I won’t have a consistent schedule. The most important thing to know about what I am looking for in a home is that I have a 1.5 year old female Great Dane named Winnie, who is like my shadow, and she needs to be able to sleep in my room, and have a back yard with a decent fence (1.5m or taller) where she can hang out with her toys when I work. Her vice is that she likes to escape. She’s toilet trained and has a great nature - she will absolutely steal your heart - but she won’t follow commands unless she knows you have a treat in your hand. She has never destroyed or damaged anything that is not explicitly given to her though. I would love for Winnie to have a doggo friend to keep her company during the day. My current housemates have lots of animals, so Winnie has lived with three German shepherds, a kelpie, two cats, two horses, and a snake. Winnie is used to living with other dogs, so if she is the only dog in the house I would be looking to adopt another dog to accompany her. I also have a pet snake - a carpet python called Legs. He might go to live with a friend of mine though. He pretty much just hangs out in his tank. He’s a chill dude. Please contact me for further info.
I am looking for a room or a team up in a quiet and respectful home. I am moving to Brisbane for work and will be needing accomodation. I have lived in shared situations before and have enjoyed the experiences I have encountered. I cook and will clean (domesticated...yes!) and keep to myself for the most part. I pay my share of the bills on time and will help out wherever I can. Im happy to share a meal or just sit and chat. Im not a big drinker but don't mind a beer or two after a hard day. I don't watch a lot of TV but am happy to just relax and watch a movie. I respect your privacy and your place. I will look after the furnishings as if they were my own. I do smoke (not drugs) and respect that you don't. I never smoke inside and will respect your wishes on this.
I am independent and considerate of others and their privacy. I also enjoy a good chat. I am working or at uni most, if not all days.
I'm from Brazil (Sao Paulo City) and I'm 29 years old. I'm a Graduated Journalist and I also had a Marketing postgraduate. I've been working as a Public Relations for 9 years and I came to Brisbane to improve my English and make friends as well. I've been studying and working in Brisbane for 10 months. I'm looking for my own room with some furniture. I'm very organized, calm and responsible. I love dogs and cats. I'm going to school every morning and then I go to work.
We are two sisters originally from Malaysia. I am Pritii, currently returning from Greece and was there for 3 years for a PhD opportunity through Marie Curie scholarship. My sister, Bavani, is currently working full-time in her internship near Wacol. We are clean, friendly and respectful tenants, and both have lived in Brisbane for about 3-4 year period for our education. Both of us are local adventurers, often out and about with friendly catch ups during the weekends or something interesting to do, and we are looking for a bit of accessibility to the city from the location.
Full time Carpenter. Know how to have a good time but also know how to enjoy a quiet and chilled day. Love to travel. Let’s go for a beer and see for yourself!
I'm friendly, easy to get along with and respect others privacy. I prefer social housemates that I can call friends but also respect each other’s space. I am looking for a place within walking distance to a train station as I don't own a car. I work at Kmart in Indooroopilly and am starting music degree in September. I am pretty flexible with the move in date and am looking for a place I could spend the next couple years in. Slide into my DMs if you think we would be a good match.
Teacher aide, 25, looking for accommodation from mid October. Hoping for somewhere near Browns Plains but will consider elsewhere.
Looking for all-female house/flat (with no boyfriend-sleepovers) close to good public transport, quiet and safe area and house, considerate and responsible housemates who are friendly but give personal space, and no cats (if possible) or dogs. Fish and chickens are okay! : ) Prefer similar age-range/ 28-45. I've received a lot of messages that don't actually fit any of that, so please respond only if you/your place actually meet these things - not guys, sorry, and please within this price range! I'm responsible, mature, clean and considerate, and want housemates who also have these habits. Outside space for gardening is great, but not essential, and somewhere to store my things - read, lots of boxes! (garage space, under-the-house, shed, or part of a spare room). I'll also consider suburbs near those I've listed, except not further south than Eight Mile Plains.
I am a Biochemistry student from Lithuania and I'm about to stay in Brisbane for a three-month internship at UQ. I am outgoing and would love to go for a walk/hike/run in the evening or during weekends. I cook my own food and would definitely like to share it! I am a tidy person and I also believe I am not an energy vampire!
Hi There. My name is Nash and I am a 26 year old student at UQ. After returning from Melbourne for 7 months I am keen to re-establish myself in Brisbane and find a place. You'll find that I am a pretty easy going guy. When I am not studying or working I am usually out catching up with friends, going to the gym or practicing guitar in my room. Having said that I don't mind hanging out or joining for the odd beer if it is on offer ha. I am a clean person. I wash my own dishes and do my laundry regularly. Also more than happy to help sweep/vaccum when need be. I look forward to meeting future housemates, hopefully we get along and can live peacefully :) Nash.
We are both full time workere, enjoy being social, listening to music, gaming and having occasional dinners together. We are really easy going, but respectful and tidy.
As a person, I would think of myself as quiet and peaceful, very caring and respectful of others, polite, well-mannered and considerate. Full-time, long-term employment. Part-time university student (external - online)
I am, as you can see, middle-aged. I'm reliable, clean, considerate and sociable. Happy to do meal swaps. I'm a good cook. I need a biggish room, or some extra space to put a few things like tool cabinet, bookshelves. I work part-time as a school teacher. Thanks, Simon
Looking to move closer to the city and closer to work in Indooroopilly. I work full time and study writing at QUT. I am very clean, like to keep to myself mostly and am busy, but do enjoy company and cooking and hanging out with others. I have all my own furniture to furnish a whole house and two bedrooms.
Hello, My current lease is expiring on the 22nd September. I am looking to rent a room with an ensuite in an existing share house with 1 or maximum 2 other people. Also interested in Teamups. I am a very clean, respectful & considerate person.. Currently self employed teacher and performer and studying so my work hours are all over the place. My work is full on and physical so I rarely have people over and like my home to be my sanctuary where I can recharge and relax :) (This is very important - home must be peaceful with like-minded individuals) MY OWN BATHROOM IS A MUST and am open to a place with a cat 🐱❤🤗 Thank you!
Hi there! I’m Fiona and 37yo. In Brisbane until January 19 and looking for a place (from 1/9/18) for myself and my handsome-chilled mastiff X (5yo - outdoor dog). I’m always busy - working, studying, exercising and doing stuff... Need a bit of storage space for safe-keeping of my ‘gear’ (ideally part of garage or shed, if bedroom’s too small) and a fenced property for Rufus. If you want someone who’s tidy and cleans up after themselves and think you got the right space, please get in contact with me. :-)
I'm 22 years old and work full time. Brisbane born and bred and although I work away a fair bit, I will mostly will be in Brisbane. I enjoy socializing with others and get along great with people who have a sense of humor. I enjoy health and fitness and love going on hikes and coast trips. Looking to move out about Mid-August.
I'm 26 years old and think of myself as tidy and respectful. I work full time then go straight to the gym. I love music and cooking, I do enjoy a wine most weekends as well. I'm looking for change and some nice new flat mates to move in with.
Good Morning, my Name is Lisa, I'm from France, 24 years old. I'm working full time on Graceville and West End sometimes. a room located between this two suburb can be perfect. I'm clean, quiet and easy going. I like to enjoy my free time with my friends ! I looking for my own room with king bed. thanks you.
Searching for: - Large room or 2x rooms - Ensuite or own bathroom - Air-conditioned room - Up to $300 for 1.5-2 rooms - Up to $250 if some storage is required - Preference for shared bills - Quiet location (not really city/valley) - Close by access to transport to the city - Pets are ok :) - Maximum 3x (no couples please) - Professionals or quiet students - Non-smoking house please About Me: Hi, I'm Nicole. I'm 30 and work full-time in the CBD, enjoy social sport and enjoy quiet activities at home such as reading, art or the odd reality show :) I also enjoy going out for breakfast, coffee and browsing vintage stores or markets on the weekends. I'm not into a party house, loud music or too much socialising at home (outside of the housemates) as home for me is for relaxing after a long day or week. I'm keen to live with someone who shares a similar mindset around respecting and compromising in a shared space so that everyone is comfortable and happy. It would be lovely to meet a new friend and have a wine if it works out but I'm also keen to have some personal space and a good house layout. I'd definitely love to share with a cat or small dog as I haven't been able to get one myself. I'm currently renting a townhouse to share but the owner has chosen to sell last minute. This means I'm flexible on dates and periods at the moment. Ideally I'd like the same set-up which is 3-beds+ between 2 and I'd also consider renting two adjacent rooms and bathroom if its close to budget. I do have a house of furniture (lounge, fridge, washing machine, TVs etc.) so ideally I could use some, or store some in a garage, but for the right room and price I will put this into storage. Reasonable storage is a must. If you think we would work well together or you have a set-up that would suit me, please let me know and send me a message :)
Hey there, my name is Ben and I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Economics and working casually in retail. I mainly spend my time playing board games, having a nice brunch with friends, and drinking good coffee when I'm not studying. When I'm home I generally keep to myself although I'm definitely up for making friendships, drinking some wine, eating some snacks and watching TV whenever suits. I'm clean, punctual with rent/bills, and reliable. Thanks, Ben.
Professional, sensible, courteous, clean and responsible male. Just moved back to Brisbane and will be buying a house in the next 6 months but am looking to share or get my own place to rent while I settle back in and get used to Brissy again. Find our the best suburbs, cafes, restaurants and lifestyle here. I work out at the airport but don’t necessarily need to live that close to there. Have a small dog and do a lot of outdoors stuff in my downtime including in rescue ops on weekends. I have some furniture and things in storage but ideally looking for something furnished however can get my furniture out of storage. Hope this helps Regards Sean
Hi I'm Emily from Korea. I'm currently studying and working part time so I am pretty busy. I prefer to be quite at home rather than having a party but I like to talk with house mates with sometimes drinks.
Hi, looking for a place to call home, inner city/Southside area. I am 28 and am a working professional. During the week I keep relatively quite but on weekends may have a few drinks etc to wind down. I am clean, tidy and respectful. Cheers, Matt.
Hi! I'm Lily and looking for a place close by to uni and work. I'm currently completing my 2nd year of uni studying science and working part time so I'm usually busy doing either one of the two. I'm tidy, usually keep to myself but I'm always up for a chat. (Flexible with move in date)
