Looking for a place around the 7th of January. Looking for chilled, relaxed, clean and sociable people. I want my housemates to be more friends rather then just someone you live with but at the same time being able to have respect for one another. Nbn would definitely be a selling point as I am a bit of a gamer! I'm a tradesman who works 5 days a week and I'm up around 5.00am with the occasional Saturday from time to time :) I would prefer to live around the Woolloongabba but am open to outer areas. I also will have a car 😊 I'm looking for a place where I'm not locked in but with guarantee myself for 3 months and will give you at least 2 weeks notice.
I’m a quiet and organised person, clean, very responsible, friendly and helpful. I like watching movies, play video games. I love to share stories in a good conversation and Cooking. Most of the time I’m working or studying but in my free time I tried to do outdoor activities or short traveling in my scooter. Actually I’m leaving with two friends in Indooroopilly in a share house during the last 2 years, unfortunately we can’t extend the contract because I will go overseas the next 30/05/18 and one of my house mates is moving to Gold Coast. I’m seeking for a room preferably with its own bathroom.
Hi I'm Tristan, I'm 23 And I'm a UQ science student. Looking for a place $150 or under including bills and internet. I'm from the Sunshine Coast and worked as a guide at Australia Zoo for over 4 years and then went to the army for 3 years, posted to Townsville. I have been living in Brisbane for a year now, studying and working as a wedding DJ/MC on the weekends. Unfortunately, the owner of the house I am currently in has her family moving in so I'm looking to move close to UQ in the first week of January. I'm super easy to get along with, I enjoy a good chat and cheeky drinks in the valley here and there. If you like the beach I like to do trips up the coast every now and then to see mates and family, welcome to join. I'm a gamer but don't worry I have my own tv and stuff for my room. I can go somewhere unfurnished if needed, I have an awesome 5 piece lounge, my own bed etc but I don't need to take them with me. I can live with girls or guys easily and I'm LGBT friendly :)
We have been friends for 11 years. We are easy to get along with and have happy go lucky dispositions. We are both currently studying - Taylor does law and politics UQ) and Honor is doing a arts degree (QUT). We are easily adaptable to any household e.g. pets, smoking and the LGBTQI+ community. Taylor and Honor are both in relationships and work part-time. Feel free to hit us up for a coffee to get to know us more.
I'm a 24 year old full-time student. I'm moving to Brisbane from Sydney in December looking for a single room. I have a good rental history and pay rent on time and have lived in share houses for over 5 years so am familiar with the dynamics. I'm a pretty relaxed and easy going person. I enjoy the odd glass of wine when i get home and a netflix binge every now and again (I am a genuine whiz kid at useless movie trivia!).
I'm friendly and easy to get along with, respect others privacy, like a clean house and enjoy the occasional drink or two with dinner. I would like to live with relatively social housemates as I'm always up for making new friends. I am also looking for a place within walking distance to a train station as I don't own a car. I am also pretty keen on teaming up with a few people to find somewhere new. ps. a/c is desirable :)
Although I am 18 (turning 19 in May), I am quite independent and like to keep everything very clean. I like to think that I'm quite quirky, I love music and am outgoing. At home I'm very laid back and usually spend my time in my room, but will still socialise if I see someone. I'm looking for a room to stay at while I study at UQ and work part time. I have been brought up in Perth and am living here up until the end of January, so I may be a bit of a busy-bot for the first few months of living in Brisbane, as I love discovering new places and seeing new things. I have one female cat named Millie (3 yrs old), she is an indoor-only DSH grey tabby and is quite a sweet little thing. Although she likes to do her own thing most of the time (sleep), she is very well behaved, has never scratched the carpet, has never done her business anywhere besides her own toilet and is no where near a demanding cat, so she will be completely hassle free! :) If you have a room that would suit the both of us (preferably spacious as I will have Millie's scratching pole, bed, enclosed toilet and off ground food bowls to go in) available towards the end of January 2018, please hit me up with a message! Can promise you I (and cat) will be one of the best house/share mates you've ever had!
Hi there! My names Mel, im a clean and organized person who is considerate of the people and animals i live with. I enjoy a drink here and there, would be happy with company or happy to game alone ;-) Not moving till late April/early May.
Looking for all-female house/flat (with no boyfriend-sleepovers) close to good public transport, quiet and safe area and house, considerate and responsible housemates who are friendly but give personal space, and no cats (if possible) or dogs. Fish and chickens are okay! : ) Prefer similar age-range/ 26-45. I've received a lot of messages that don't actually fit any of that, so please respond only if you/your place actually meet these things - not guys, sorry, and please within this price range! I'm responsible, mature, clean, considerate, and friendly, and want housemates who also have these habits. Outside space for gardening is great, but not essential, and somewhere to store my things - about 1.5 cubed metres (garage space, under-the-house, shed, or part of a spare room).
I'm a health professional working at Ipswich hospital and only recently moved to Brisbane for work. I'm considerate and respectful as well as tidy and friendly. Ideally I would like to live in a unit with only one other person, in the south suburbs of Brisbane.
I am very understanding and easy going. I am courteous due to my work requirements, and honest. I work in the aviation industry. I have just returned from being based in Sydney and while I look for something to buy over the next 6-12 months I wanted to rent something tidy and pet friendly as I have a small dog. I am a lot of fun, love the outdoors and trying new things, hence giving this a go.
Hi, I'm working full time as a business analyst, clean and respectful, saving for buying a property at the moment, would love to find an alike person or persons to share a house with a fully fenced large yard. My puppy, although only 4 months old, is very smart, has been toilet trained, friendly to any human and dog or cat, calm and quiet, but always love a play with you.
I am a down to earth, caring and intelligent person, clean and considerate of others. Always respectful and mindful of other’s privacy, but always up for hanging out whether it’s staying in and watching a movie or going out. Thank you for your consideration ☺️
As a housemate, I'm proud to say I have been as conscientious as I can -- always sorted bills on time, always cleaned after myself, and was always aware of my surroundings/time. I'm easygoing and I don't like to impose on people. I'm up for socialising and also enjoy my private time. I love food and will occasionally cook a 'special' dish :) However due to work and study, I (sadly) resort to 5min noodle most of the time. So don't worry about me hogging the kitchen. I like playing boardgames, watching tv shows, and just hanging out with my friends.
I'm in my mid-20s working as a secondary school teacher. Like to watch a bit of trashy TV or interesting docos on the couch, but equally, a stroll headed to a few beers is always an option. Whilst I'm no stranger to a night out I'm definitely not up for a party house and am pretty set in my weekday routines so am looking for flatmates who can respect that. Though whilst my weekdays are somewhat mundane I'm always keen to socialise come Friday 3pm. I like to look after my place pretty well so ideally would like to be with people who are equally as clean and tidy and happy to share the load.
I'm relaxed, neat and tidy and easy to get along with. I'm a teacher, so I'm out of the house during the day. I like to have a chat, but I also like a bit of my own space - as I'm sure you do too!
I'm an easy going professional working in town who likes to relax and unwind in the evenings over anything from a beer & good conversation to a trip to the gym, an episode of GoT or a good book. I'm clean without being obsessive and understand what tact is, though it might shock my family if they were to ever observe me practice some. I am good at respecting peoples space and generally don't intrude without an invitation. I also come bearing free avocados as I have a small hobby farm outside of town where I spend some weekends.
Hey guys! I am 25 years old and have been living out of home since the age of 25! I am very clean, always pay my bills on time, and like to keep to myself for a majority of the time. Looking for somewhere to live that is closer to work! Hit me up if you're keen to live with someone who works full time, and is reliable!
Looking for a team up for early January 2017. I've been sharehousing for 10+ years, so I know the drill. I generally keep to myself, but would like to find someone who enjoys a drink or share dinner every now and then. I'm clean, respectful of the noise, and mess I make and am fairly accommodating. I'm looking to move from my small two bdrm flat to a roomy townhouse closer to work in Toowong. Ideally looking to share with someone around my age. I've been looking at 3bdrm places with several bathrooms (so we don't have to share!). My budget is around $200 to $280/week. I'd prefer to share with just one other person. I have enough furniture to furnish everything, but most is old so i don't mind donating most of it to charity. My 'must haves' are a garage for my new car, and my own bathroom. About me: I work full time in Toowong, love touch football, beer and have recently taken up surfing. I spend most weekends out of the house catching up with friends. I don't go out much anymore, the party lifestyle is way behind me. About you: you also work full time, and are able to pay your own rent. If you work FIFO, or shift work, thats more than ok with me. I've lived with shift workers before, and understand how important sleep is.
Hello, my name is David. I work full time in Inala from 9-5pm. I am currently living in a share house and would like to move due to a rent change. I have a small Male cat that is fully toilet trained and spends most of his time outside and thinks its a human. I am a quiet, honest and respectful person that usually keeps to himself. - I pay all my bills on time - I'm clean - Knows how to cook :) - Easy to get along with If you are able to help me out please give me a call.
UQ University student looking for a share house. I'm friendly, easy-going, open-minded and considerate. I enjoy socialising with others while I also equally enjoy keeping to myself to relax. Happy to move in with a couple, girls or guys :) I'm hard working and tidy. Currently studying Social Work and wanting to help people regarding mental health. I love animals, music, travelling, and occasionally playing sport in my free time. I'm vegetarian and able to cook.
Hi Everyone! My name is Julia and I'm 22 years old. I've just graduated from uni and have a full time job. Im starting another degree later next year, so I'll also be studying part time. I'm looking for a room as both of my housemates are moving overseas! I'm pretty easy going, always up for a chat and love being active. I have a fairly busy schedule consisting of work, study and sport, so I'll hardly be around at home. Looking to stay for 6 months + and quite flexible with the move in date. I have some of my own furniture, so I prefer a non furnished bedroom! I'm not much of a partier, but do enjoy the occasional quiet drink with my housemates. Keen to hear from you!! :)
Hey there! I'm a psych student at UQ who is nearing the end of my undergrad degree but will likely be staying at uni for the next few years. I am pretty clean and a decent cook. I work a few days a week and the other days I'm at uni. I'm breezy about move in dates but would love to be in my new place before mid jan. The place I'm in currently is looking to offload some furniture so I do have the option of bringing whitegoods/ living room furniture etc. if needed
I am a 17 year old girl, who is outgoing and friendly, I clean up after myself and I generally keep to myself, willing to live with male or female. I dont have a car at the moment so access to train stations or bus stops are important :) I can move in ASAP but I would prefer to wait till the new year. 420 friendly would also be beneficial but not important :)
Perfect Housemate - almost never around! Professional who works away 70% of the time. I work a 10 day on, 4 day off shift and also fly back to the UK, infrequently, so there will be times when I'm away all month. I require a place near the city (on a train route); as on my off days I usually go into the city office, to catch up with the team - so even when I'm back I'm rarely about. I need a base to come back to and therefore require a fully furnished room in a neat, clean, tidy house / flat. I require a spot from the end of January but don't mind paying a % to secure something earlier.
Hi, Im Chantal, a 25 year old studying law full time whilst working part time as a paralegal in the city. I have a 5 year old pug named kai who is basically my child. We are both clean and outdoor enthusiast. We are also both food enthusiast however, Kai is on a diet due to his unfortunate issue of easily putting weight on, so we tend to cook together and he will miss out. I am needing to find a room as my long term partner is moving overseas for work and I am not wanting to take the current lease on, therefore, I want to move in with a couple of people who I can shared conversations with. As I said I am studying and therefore do not tend to venture out party wise. I will either be at uni, at work, at home studying or at any spare moment in time flying my paraglider somewhere in the Gold Coast Hinterland. If I sound like someone you could put up with, please let me know :) Chantal
I'm an easy going sociable guy. I'm a mechanical engineer and generally keep busy during the week. I'm tidy and happy to share the load with other housemates. I like my sleep during the week but I can't say no to a beer if the offer is going. I don't have a whole heap of furniture, pretty much just my own room's worth and a sweet fridge so I'm hoping wherever I end up can complement that! Looking for somewhere reasonably close to either train or main bus routes as I work in the city, and where there is a bit of room. Contact me if you think I'm a good fit!
Hi! I'm 25 and originally from Melbourne, but have been living on the Gold Coast for a few months now. I'm currently working fulltime in Brisbane, so I'm looking for somewhere close to the city or with easy access to the Train Station. I would love somewhere that is social, but not a crazy party house, l like my early mornings and early bedtimes - secret nanna life :P. But I do still enjoy a drink or two at night or on the weekends. I like to think I live the "healthy" lifestyle. I go for walks most days and do at-home circuit workouts. I'm after a place that has OFF-STREET parking (a must!) as I will be living my car at home during the day and I don't want to be coming back to it damaged or with a massive parking fine. I 'd describe myself as quiet, but great at joining in on conversations, very tidy and respectful of others, easy going. I'm hoping to find a housemate who has similar interests to me and hopefully make a friend out of our time living together. Furnished, with mainly a bed (doesn't have to have linen) is all I need! I'm very open, so if you have any questions or would like to know more about me, just ask :)
I work in Toowong and I'm looking for a home to share with some friendly people. I'm clean, tidy and enjoy conversation and a laugh (and an occasional wine) with good people. I'm 40+, so I'm the best of all things (mature and fun), while I enjoy fun and socialising, I'm just as happy having quiet times and relaxing with a book, Netflix or contemplating the view. Please feel free to contact me and perhaps we can meet to get to know one another. With kindest regards, Katharina
