Hello! I am a 31 years old guy from Spain. I've been living in London for the last 7 years and moved to Brisbane last September. I am working in Marketing around Richlands and would like to move around there for convenience. Mondays and Tuesdays, I am doing a night graphic design course in the city and the rest of my free time I spend drawing, reading, gym and I love a glass of wine every now and again! I like to keep my house clean, and I am friendly and easy going. I would like to share the house with like-minded people, healthy, open and easy going that like a laugh and a drama free environment!
Hi! My name is Alex (33), aka "the Greek" and I have just arrived to Australia from the UK, where I lived for about decade (with a short two year break in Germany). I am an easy going, laid back kind of dude who is always looking for an excuse for an after work beer or glass of wine. :D I like to get up early and drink espresso watching the sunrise and listening the birds sing. I try to do an hour of sports everyday (gym/cycling/tennis/yoga) even if work consistently tries to get in the way. My house doesn't have to be spotless just clean, tidy and fairly organized. Ultimately, I am looking for a place I can call home and a group of flatmates I can share a laugh, and my dinner with.
Hi there, I’m moving to Brisbane in May and am looking for a place to rent, either a house share, or a place on my own. I will be working part time and volunteering and plan to begin studying my Masters in Clinical Psychology next year. I’ve lived in house shares for close to 10 years and have always had really positive experiences! I’d love to find a place that feels like home, with people who value and respect each other, can have fun together but also are also relaxed and easygoing. I’m very clean and am a team player when it come to chores and housework. Hmmm, what else? I guess I’m a pretty chilled, positive and happy kind of person. I love being active, getting outdoors and exploring nature, and I enjoy dabbling in making art when I have some free time. Dogs are life to my soul, and in the absence of having my own pet, I pour my love into my indoor plant-babies instead. So that’s a little insight into me!
I'm almost 20, studying Vet tech full-time at UQ gatton (yes, I drive there) and work casual in newmarket. I've been looking at places to live that are dog-friendly as I'm hoping to adopt a dog in the very near future! I have one indoor-only cat who is extremely well behaved (if I say so myself). I am independent, sociable and like to keep clean. At home I'm very laid back and usually spend most of my time in my room, but will love a chat or two if I bump into someone. I'm also vego if that even matters haha I have one female cat named Millie (4 yrs old), she is an indoor-only DSH grey tabby and is the sweetest thing. Although she likes to do her own thing most of the time (sleep), she is very well behaved and will accept a pat or two if she comes by you (maybe even a lap cuddle if she warms up to you enough!) If you have a home suitable for the two of us (and a potential third) please send me a message!
Thanks, for the messages. I have now found a temporary place. However, I'll be looking for a new place, in June. Thus, I'll leave my listing up. I'm an artist (visual and performing) who is currently studying design. I will be working FT, in addition to studying. So, I'll be pretty busy. I'm looking for somewhere quiet and relaxed. Being able to get a restful night's sleep is a must. I'm naturally sociable and enjoy and laugh and a chat, when the opportunity arises. I will be traveling overseas in May, for an artist residency. I'll be looking for a place, when I return, in June. Thanks :-)
Hey, my name is Thibault and I'm 21 years old. I'm from Belgium and I'm currently doing work experience in Brisbane as part of my university studies. I'm here for a short period until the start of June before I travel around Australia.
I'm 30 YO indonesian female who's study master in UQ. I can cook and would love to share recipe and food with you. I love to explore so I wouldnt be home too much. I love to socialize and hang out, but I will respect your space too. Just tell me what you are comfortable with, and I will adjust with you. Hopefully we will get along together.
I'm a super friendly gal looking to move to Brisbane from the Sunshine Coast into a private room. I am very respectful and keen to meet new, friendly people I can chill and make friends with -but I also appreciate privacy and can keep to myself. Having a year off to work before going back to studying next year (archaeology). I adore animals so I'm happy to live in a house with any. I love going out for coffee or a drink and exploring new places. If you're looking for someone to fill a room, send me a message! :)
Full-time employed teacher who works long hours traveling to a high school in Ipswich. Quiet and neat person who is looking for some like-minded room mates. Happy to share a meal or coffee from time to time but I am just as happy respecting others busy lives and privacy. Suburbs listed are ideal as it is close to the highway to drive to work and close to family who work at UQ. Please feel free to contact me.
Hi! I'm Emma, 24 years old from Brisbane. Looking for a new place to live with some cool, like-minded people. Can bring house plants, card games and an incredible selection of gel pens.
Hello, my name is Joe, I work full time from home as my company is based in Sydney. However, my job as a Sales Manager for Asia and Africa has me traveling about 6 months of the year (broken up of course). I'm easy going, but still tidy, lived in plenty of share accommodation so understand the do's and don'ts of living with housemates. Keen to get in somewhere relatively quickly as my current housemate wishes to move back to Noosa and really the apartment I am currently in is too small. I enjoy Gym, BJJ and attempting guitar, love the outdoors, fishing, spearfishing and camping. Non-smoker but don't mind a few social drinks or glass of wine. So would be good to find someone who is like minded and a working professional to live with. Would be good to team up with someone, flexible on the suburb, shoot me a message!
Hey! I'm about to begin my psychology internship in Brisbane and so I will be moving from Adelaide. In addition to my internship, I will be tutoring primary and high school kids. I will also be looking for another part time job to go with this as a steady source of income. I'm pretty relaxed and chilled with a lot of things and yeah I'll be excited to start my new life there in Brisbane hopefully around April.
I work full time in Milton in the CBD. My hours are 11am-7pm. I’m easy going / laidback. Clean and tidy. Respectful of others space. I Like to go out and do fun things and enjoy a drink every now and then :) looking for a modern apartment /unit to move into or team up to find a new share house. Would like my own bathroom. I also do not mind street parking. My ideal location would be Sherwood or Graceville.
Hey! My name is Lily and I am a 25 yo moving up from RADelaide for a full time job in the city. I am into reading, movies, outdoor-sy adventures (walks, camping, the beach, surfing etc) and am a bit of a health/fitness enthusiast (meal prep, gym goer). Looking for a house in the Intro/Toowong/Graceville areas with housemates with similar interests. Am social and up for Netflix/chats, but also like my down time after work. Work 9-5 and I am a clean, respectful and easy going kind of person.
I am fairly active and busy during the week so generally not home too often. I enjoy quiet time on the weekends but like to be social as well. Im very clean and tidy and always willing to help out with chores.
Hi my name is Marianne. I study a double degree full-time and work as a Bar Attendant part-time. Looking for a nice, quiet place where I can have space to study and also come home and relax in. I need somewhere that is also pet friendly as I have a little tabby cat that loves humans. Would highly regard if bills were included or if we could negotiate. I am a friendly, outgoing and tidy person. I love to socialise with my house mates but also respect their privacy and space. I am someone very trustworthy and will be an awesome addition to the household along with Bellsprout (my cat)!
Hello! :) I’m a 25 year old Occupational Therapist, working at Autism QLD. I’m really friendly but enjoy my own space and down time. I’m very clean and respectful and will sometimes be away with work. I generally spend my spare time with my family/friends or at the gym, and I like to cook :) I’m looking for like-minded housemates, who are friendly but value privacy and a clean, cosy home to live in :) I’m looking for somewhere with my own bathroom :)
Professional, sensible, courteous, clean and responsible male. Just moved back to Brisbane and will be buying a house in the next 6 months but am looking to share or get my own place to rent while I settle back in and get used to Brissy again. Find our the best suburbs, cafes, restaurants and lifestyle here. I work out at the airport but don’t necessarily need to live that close to there. Have a small dog and do a lot of outdoors stuff in my downtime including in rescue ops on weekends. I have furniture and things in storage but ideally looking for something furnished however can get my furniture out of storage. Hope this helps Regards Sean
I'm a 21 Year old IT Technician and Network Admin, working full time in Darra. Clean and organized guy with a love of classical guitar. Looking for a place with a decent amount of room, with privacy for myself and for others any others I'd be living with. Internet is a must. Would prefer own bathroom.
I see myself as down to earth kind of person, who loves a good laugh. I love animals, and have a small friendly chihuahua. I work fulltime as a horticulturalist, and also study at uni part time. As a flatmate, I pay my rent and bills on time, and keep the house clean and tidy. I guess I'm looking for people who are the same. I don't mind the odd get together to watch a movie or get a pizza. I'm pretty easy going and respect everyone's privacy. I'm currently living in a three bedroom house in Carina and my flatmate is moving out soon, so I will have two spare rooms available to share. I'm also planning to move into a new share house if I can't find any potential flatmates before April 1st.
Hi! I am a quiet but sociable, friendly human with plants. I can clean a toilet, and keep common areas tidy. I am not a huge party person, (introvert) and don't have any vices outside copious coffee consumption. I am a student and freelance graphic designer, looking for a large room (ideally; bed, desk, wardrobe, and chest of draws with room for a bookcase), or a place with an area to work from as I often work from home, I could do a smaller room if there is storage space. I am looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful - no main roads or horrible neighbours. I like living with people who are go with the flow types, but need to live with those who can communicate their needs in a household assertively. I am not looking for student housing or mass housing, I am looking for a home, and a bunch of cool non judgmental humans who don't mind my talking literature, netflix or manga (nerrrrd).
My partner and I are both students, my partner works full-time and I work part-time. We are quiet and clean and keep to ourselves most of the time. We also have a cat named Lady Marmalade - we think she's pretty cool.
Hi all! My name's Terry. I'm originally from Adelaide and I've been in Brisbane now for about 2 years. I work full-time as a soil technician for an engineering firm and I have an indoor cat named Stella who would be accompanying me, so I hope you like cats! A large/extra large room would also be ideal because I have a queen size bed and fairly huge desk. Or, a spare media room would work too. Sport climbing is a big part of my life when I'm not working. I often won't get home until past 8 pm during the week because I'll go climbing straight from work. I like finding new and interesting ways of keeping fit and mobile. Otherwise, I enjoy all the standard things -- getting out and about with friends, or getting out for a Sunday lunch and a cheeky drink or two.. and maybe a swim at South Bank. Mostly, I'm looking for a place I can call home. I want to find people who are proactive about making the home a nice place to coexist. I also appreciate housemates who can pay the rent and bills on time! Without meaning to sound cliche, I do like to keep things relatively clean, but I'm not at all uptight about cleanliness. If I live with clean freaks, we may clash if you can't handle the odd dish or two being left in the sink.. As long as everyone chips in and everything gets done in a timely manner, I'm cool :) Also, I'd like to live with at least one female because I have been living in all male houses for a few years and want a change. And lastly, I get along best with people who are both outspoken and outgoing. I find that people who are out there normally bring out the same in me.. And it's always better not to have to guess what's on someone's mind! Anyway, if I sound like someone you could live with, feel free to drop me a line - I'm happy to fill an empty room or do team-ups with the right people :) Hope to hear from you soon! Terry
Trying to find another 2-3 people for a pet friendly sharehouse or apartment. I'm a 23 Bachelor of science student working 12-18 hours a week. My maximum budget is $160.00 and would like to move no further north than Ashgrove. (Currently in Bardon, studying in Nathan and working in Macgregor). I study full time and work part time so I am out of the house most of the time. I also do some casual petsitting and dog walking where I may stay at a client's house for a period of time whilst they are away. I will usually take my dog, Lemmy with me on these occasions. Lemmy is an 11 year old terrier X, who is very laidback and low maintenance for those around him. He usually sleeps or will cuddle up to anyone who lets him.
