I'm a 36-year-old doctor working as an anaesthetist at The Prince Charles Hospital. I work 4 days a week and the few times I'm on call I tend to stay at the hospital. I enjoy running and attend Park Run most Saturdays. I enjoy spending time with friends, watching anime and practising my drawing skills. I think living with people requires straight-forward open communication and flexibility. I value kindness in myself and others.
Cruisy easy going 21 year old girl with a full time job looking for a room in a furnished house, close enough to wesfield chermside. I've recently moved back from travelling over seas so don't have a lot other than bedroom furniture. Only needing somewhere for about 6 moths. Don't have a car but might buy one in the future.
I'm currently not looking for a place but thought I'd register now rather than later. My name is Jessica and will be turning 24 in March 2017. I currently work as a full time librarian but am currently looking for a different full time job that can guarantee a stable income. I would say that I am a quiet and reserved person who is awkward at first but can be outgoing once I get to know others. I don’t drink, smoke or drive nor do I go out partying and I also have a cat allergy. I have lived with dogs since kindergarten to present time with my family, so I am perfectly fine with living with dogs. I enjoy staying up late when I don’t have work and doesn’t go to bed until midnight on a work day. My spare time primarily involves reading manga and watching anime. My other interests include books and fanfiction, watching movies and TV, and (recently solo travelled Japan in September 2016). Besides my love for anime and manga, I also am a huge Harry Potter fan. I have never lived with people except my parents, brother and dogs so I apologise if I am incredibly reserved as I don’t normally live with people outside of my family. In terms of length of stay, I would like to stay at a location for over a few years so I can save up to buy an apartment or home of my own. I identify as an aromantic asexual (doesn’t experience romantic or sexual attraction) so you won’t see people visiting me except maybe the odd friend or family member on rare occasions.
Respectful, Clean, Tidy, Self-sufficient, Social, Friendly, Reliable, Easy to get along with. I work in IT support Mon - Fri. Often away for weekends. Looking for end of March and possibly ongoing. Prefer furnished bedroom.
Quiet and laid back, work 5/6 days so always busy when not at work I'd be at the gym or I'm watching Netflix reading a book or in the kitchen. I also have a cat he's an indoor only and loves a good cuddle with pretty much anyone.
I'm 33. Employed as a health professional. Easygoing. Respectful. Love Animals. I am looking for a room/share house not too far from the Prince Charles Hospital in Chermside. I work full-time and moved from Melbourne last year. I've lived with others for many years and understand the meaning of personal space and cleaning up after myself. I am looking for short-term accomodation to share with easygoing people for the next 1-3 months. I would prefer a furnished/semi-furnished room and would like to have the room available from next weekend (although I am a little flexible in this regard). I love going out for good food, watching Netflix and regularly travel to Melbourne - so you'll have lots of time to yourself. Many Thanks!
Generally a happy person, easy to get along with, love to cook so that's a bonus, mostly quiet, very ocd about cleaning. I do have a boyfriend who id like to be able to stay with me 2/3 times a week so that's a must. A room with my own bathroom or aircon is preferable!
Currently live with a couple at north lakes; however my new job now requires me to travel closer to the city. I have lived outside of home for about 4/5 years now, so i am self-reliant and clean. I am a sociable person and enjoy having casual drinks when I'm not working. I have previously lived with multiple females, so i don't mind living with a specific gender. If you're interested send us a message or text.
I'm 21, looking for a new place to rent. I've been living in Brisbane for 2 years and love to get out and explore. I'm looking to move in with someone who I can socialise with and have the occasional drink or dinner but am also respectful for the need for each other's space. I work full tim shift work but am always quiet when coming or going from the house. I also like to keep a clean and tidy house (really important to me) and love to cook and bake!
Very quiet, tidy and respectful. I am a fire fighter who works shift work, have 4 grown up children and recently separated from my wife. Wanting a granny flat long term if possible. I play social tennis and enjoy walking. I also enjoy social gatherings. I am a non smoker.
Hi I'm Sam. I work most weekdays at a little cafe in the city. I'm originally from Rockhampton but moved to Brisbane over two years ago for something new. I like to think I'm fun and pretty chill. Always up for cool adventures and love a good movie night.
I am a family-oriented, neat and tidy, non-smoking/drinking/partying, people-friendly, caring, responsible person. I'm looking for unfurnished accommodation (1-2 bedrooms) for myself and my 5 years old daughter. She goes to school in Everton Park. We prefer living close to quite streets, single/double story dwelling, a garage/carport for my car. We've been renting since 2012 & is able to provide reference.
We have a puppy named Axle who you will fall in love with. Trust me. Also have an eight years old cat named Jagermeister. Both of us have lived in and around brisbane for years. We arent the party type but still like to have friends around the house a bit. Would prefer our own bathroom and garage space fenced yard a must.
Work as a Batista trainer and franchise business consultant. Guaranteed to provide great coffees to the household. I come with furniture, a car and really bad dad jokes.
All my friends are now married, so I'm seeking to share a unit/townhouse with one other person. Preferably two bathrooms and a carpark (although a place with ample street parking is also fine) - these are not a prerequisite however. Looking anywhere Brisbane Inner North (I have listed many example suburb options but not further North than Chermside). Looking to move now, as I have had to extend my lease a further two weeks to Feb 1st. I work at Eagle Farm so closer to there is ideal. I have all the gear required to setup a place (indoor/outdoor furniture, TV, kitchen stuff etc etc), so if you have a place for rent that is already kitted out (or nowhere for me to store) chances are it might be tough for us to manage. Unfortunately it seems many of the rooms listed for rent are also already kitted out. I have storage options available for some of my items but not all, so perhaps something could be negotiated there. Happy to meet up this week to discuss teamup possibilities and gauge suitability. My work is understanding with me needing to find a place to rent so anytime can be arranged. I work as a logistics manager for an IT company have just completed two degrees (Diploma of Graphic Design / Bachelor of Communication Design) in the past 2.5 years. Weekends I like to go to the beach / hiking / visiting friends. I would like to find someone who is open to the possibility doing a bit of meal sharing because I enjoy cooking for others more than myself and I appreciate that communal aspect of it. I like to have a couple of hours later in the weeknight evenings to myself to work on projects / wind down. Flexible with leasing options but would rather something 6months+ Cheers!
27 year-old journalism student at UQ searching for housemates around my age to live with who are fun, independent and socially like-minded. I like to run, head on roadtrips out bush, great at cooking, currently do surf lifesaving on the Gold Coast, takes dance classes and being well-travelled to places like the US. Look forward to hearing from you!

I have a boyfriend and while he wont be over all the time, I would like for him to be welcome in the place I stay. I have a large t.v, fridge and an abundance of kitchen appliances all of which I'd love to share or can keep in storage at my parents house. I love cooking and baking and I love sharing food, if thats not your thing thats ok too. I'm a very openminded person and im completely open to spirituality and other religions. Hey everyone! We're looking for either rooms in a pet friendly property or an extra housemate for a team up. We all have jobs, keep things clean and like to socialise. If your interested send us a message 👌🏼
Hi :) I'm 23 and working part time in hospitality (Chermside). If I'm not working I'm probably watching Netflix.. I'm pretty chilled & laidback during the week but I do enjoy being social and going out on the weekends. I'm friendly, tidy & responsible.
22yo Female - works full time in Brisbane. I am an easy going & considerate housemate. I look after myself but also more than happy to share house duties/bills etc. Looking for a room in a existing share house or a team up. I have a friendly, full grown, vaccinated inside cat.
Hi, my name is Tom, I work full-time Monday - Friday. Hoping to find a place in Brisbane Northside to make it easier to commute to work. I'm friendly and extremely social, I have an open personality and am easy-going. I do enjoy my downtime though to write, read, watch TV / films (sci-fi buff), and game. I'm an extremely neat and clean person. I'm not a MasterChef in the kitchen, but I do like to cook / bake on occasion. Send me a message if you're after a great flatmate. Thanks! :]
***Update*** I have now included that my lease at the current place doesn't end until February '17. Also, I am only looking for a room with own bathroom. Hi my name is Johnny. I have no pets and pay rent and bills on time. I work in a day surgery in an eye clinic as an instrument technician. I am seeking a furnished house or apartment to share with a responsible and mature individual with their own active lifestyle. No furniture to bring except some bedroom units. I enjoy my own space but can easily be sociable on regular occasions. I wouldn't mind teaming up too and prefer having an undercover car space, or off-street parking. Thought I might add a few odd bits here about myself as a means of informing suitability - My favourite rock and roll band is a toss-up between Wilco, Radiohead, and Blur. My favourite male singer/songwriter is Tom Waits and my favourite female singer/songwriter is Neko Case. My favourite food is pasta with anything! EXCEPT veal or kangaroo meat. I am conscious of my eating habits and try to minimise consumption of meat with the goal of cutting it out of my diet altogether. The ideal way to contact me is through the Flatmates website or mobile phone. Regards, johnny
I am currently 17 and will be studying biomedicine next year! I am outgoing and super friendly, plus a social person! Hi, My name is Anna. I'm an incoming exchange student from Sweden and I am looking for accommodation from February 12, 2017 to June 25, 2017, so around 5 months. I will be studying education at ACU in Brisbane, I'm looking to find accommodation in the area close to the campus. If possible I'd like the place I rent to have furniture. More about me. I am an active person who enjoys being outdoors and travelling (especially to New Zealand). I am a responsible and reliable person and I am financially able to support myself during my studies and have done so for the past few years. I am a quiet person who respects the boundaries of the people I live with, but I am also sociable and up for a chat. I am quite capable of cleaning up after myself and pitching in to keep communal areas clean. I enjoy cooking, especially baking. If you think I'd make a great housemate feel free to contact me and ask any further questions that you may have :).

Easy going full time working professional (IT / Projects) looking to house share within Brisbane region. Clean and Tidy and social personality but also always respect my flatmates space. Good with pets (especially dogs! lol) and easy working in with flatmates when it comes bill sharing, etc. I commute to CBD daily for work so would be great to find a place close to train lines. Originally from NZ and been in Brisbane for almost 3 yrs now, during the week i'm pretty boring (lol) normally just busy working, gym, and a little study or TV comprises my daily routine, but on weekends love to get out to the Sunshine Coast or GC when is sunny, or hit the local and watch rugby / sports. As mentioned I'm super laid back and respectful as a flatmate, and looking to fit in with a cool bunch who would hopefully end up awesome mates as well as flatties! Feel free to ask me any questions.
Shalom! My name is Chevy, I'm a 19 year old author, blogger and columnist! I am looking for a cool guy or gal to stay with in or around the city from January onwards in order to look for part/full time work. I can teach you Hebrew phrases and cook you Kebabs. We can be partners, conspirators. We will plot our takeover. It will be just like in the movies. I've grown up in the suburbs and also in the sticks - I lived in a small rural town, in fact so small it can no longer even be found on maps, and attended a school with only twelve or so other students (what?). Shortly after moving to the suburbs, the school closed down and the town was virtually abandoned. I grew up in Upper Caboolture for about eight years before moving West to Kilcoy, where I have been for the last six or so years. In my spare time I am a blogger and a collumnist, and I am about to publish a non-ficton book on the changing dynamic of power in the Middle East. At the same time I play Minecraft and my eating habits are ridiculous, so I am still quite the typical teenager. Just a little different. Let's you and I get in contact!
Im a fairly laid back person. I work two jobs currently, one in hospitality, one in retail. Every now and then i do some freelance in film and television. When i'm free i usually just watch tv or play video games, basically i just like to chill out quietly.

We are clean, tidy, hard workers, keep to ourselves but like to socialise, hoping to find a female flatmate to move into our own place. We love cooking, entertaining, and social drinks on the weekends.
Hi I'm Whitney, I currently live in Victoria point in the Redlands and I work In Grange in Brisbane, I'm looking for a place close to my work to make travelling time small and also not too expensive to live. I'm currently thinking about getting a dog, I have always wanted one since moving to Brisbane. What I'm looking for is a place I can call home just as much as the persons/ or people living there too and we get along and are on the same level of respect in the house. I work full time hours 40 hours a week plus 8+ hours at a pub each week. If your interested please contact me I'm hoping to find a new place by the new year I have moved too many times in the last year being here already and I just want a stable place for once.
My names Lauren and I currently work at North Lakes. I am looking to move out in by the middle of March. I have a couple of apartments that I am interested in, I'm just seeking 1 or 2 other girls to rent with. I would prefer to live with females close to my own age. I am pretty easy going and keep to myself a lot of the time. I spent a majority of my free time watching movies but am up for a chat whenever. I also would like someone who is up for adventures on the weekends.
I am very tidy. Pride myself on keeping the living area and shared areas (including bathroom and toilet) clean. I am pretty busy with work. My days off tend to be during the week. So am rarely home on weekends. Do forget to take the clothes out of the washing machine occasionally if i had to say a flaw.
Preferably looking for a granny flat or one bedroom complex. Older couple with granny flat or one bedroom apartment/unit/studio would be perfect. Will consider sharing a unit with others, although getting to know eachother first is a must. Current lease ends near the start of April, so message me before then to organise something :) Cheers
Hi ladies, I'll be moving to Brisbane in the new year and will be working fulltime. I'm easy to get along with I'm clean and tidy. I turn 18 early January and am very mature for my age. I'm not a big party goer but will go on the occasional night out. I prefer to go to nice restaurants or have a movie night in. I also love being active and seeing new things in my free time. Also message me if you're interested in starting a new flat share.
Not sure exactly how to explain myself.. I am a 22 year old Brit trainee accountant currently living in regional NSW and moving to brisbane on 9th of Jan for a big career step. My family and partner will remain in NSW so I will be making regular trips home. I will be working Monday – Friday in Zillmere and studying at Uni on the side – so will likely not be around too much. I don’t mind a glass of wine of a Friday night, and hopefully when I meet people ill have the odd weekend out too. I am brand new to Brisbane and will not know a soul so somebody who is up for chat wouldn’t hurt. Ideally I would like a place with a private bathroom if possible – I just think its nicer and with on street or under cover parking available. I like pets, (preferably cats) but I can live and still enjoy dogs. If you have anything that meets this description please send a message. Please do not contact me if you are not happy for a move in date of Jan 9th – I will be in brissy on December 19th for viewings.
Hello, My name is Elieide. I'm Brazilian. I am going to study English in Brisbane in March / 2017. I am a cheerful person and also reserved. I would like to have a private room. I would not want to live in homes where you have pets. My level of English is basic.
My name is Jo, I am a 17 year old female from a small rural town called Nanango which is approximately 300kms away from Brisbane. I would like to move to Brisbane for further work opportunities, hence I need a place to live. I am actively seeking work in the area I am looking. I enjoy music, socialising, volunteering, cooking and being active. I am a quiet person that will take a little while to 'come out of my shell' (as my mum says) as I am still young and a little shy at first.
