Hi, I am a 21 year old uni student. I study part time and play soccer, so I'm generally pretty busy! I love to socialise and hang out with friends, but I'm also very independent. I'm clean, organised and tidy. I am looking for a clean, comfortable place to live with friendly but not too loud housemates. I am currently living in a sharehouse but want somewhere a little quieter and with less people (ideally 3 people in the house). Would love to hear from you!
Hi my name is Meg, I am 26 years old, have a psychology degree and currently work in Government. I am laid back, tidy, respectful, open-minded, generally keep to myself and I love a good laugh. I have a pup Labrador who is absolutely beautiful. I grew up in Adelaide but traveled a few times after finishing my degree through Europe and the UK, love traveling! Also love food. In my spare time I like to draw, paint and craft in general. Unfortunately I am a Netflix addict so that is also a great pass time of mine. P.s. sorry for he Snapchat filter picture. I have no photos of me independently except for this one. #shame
I'm friendly, courteous, and respectful of my fellow housemates. I'm quiet, but will always say hi and socialise when suitable. I do enjoy going to the movies and gym a couple of times a week.
I'm fairly quiet, I can cook simple healthy meals, and my cats are very friendly ! They're both outdoor cats so they won't need an indoor litterbox, and I'm happy to keep their food bowls in my room. I work casually in Glenelg and take art commissions, and in my free time I cosplay. I enjoy scifi, fantasy, and musical theatre !
I’m a student studying to be a personal trainer. Working at a cafe about 20 hours a week. I am a positive, energetic person. Very organised, clean and happy to share any house duties.
Studying at Finders. PhD and academic tutor. Female, tidy and considerate ect looking for something self contained with bill inclusions. I spend the first half of each year teaching and the second on my own research, for which I receive a modest scholarship salary. I have two dwarf rabbits which I'd prefer to take with me (hutched, outdoor) but they can stay with my fam if the place/price is ideal. Not big on socialising, hence looking for a granny flat or similar where I have adequate privacy to do my study.
Hey there, I'm from Singapore, currently doing my master in Speech Pathology at Flinders University . I love outdoors and water sports especially diving and underwater rugby, I'm considerate, clean, and sociable. Looking for a private room, great house/housemates. Love to watch movie/dinner/chill with the housemates but do respect individual relaxing time. Drop me a message if there is a perfect house!
Hi. My name is Joachim. Im 23 years old and i am from Norway. I study business in Norway, and i am taking an exchange semester at Flinders university. Im a social person and easy to hang around. So i hope we can make a nice flat during my stay in Australia. A few things about me. I love sports and to work out. I also enjoy a chill night in the flat with some good food and a movie. As a former backpacker i really love travelling, and can´t wait to explore Australia.
Hey friends! Luke and I are looking for a friendly rental or team up. We’re a down to earth duo with a nice mix of chill, cleanliness and respect. Both of us have a good sense of humour, like to cook, play guitar, game and do artsy stuff at home. Luke is a student and works in hospitality and Jess works in media. We love animals and if you’ve got a garden we’d be delighted to help out. We also have a friendly adult cat. We’re looking at paying around $120-$200 for the both of us. Central ‘burbs would be great but open to suggestions. Thanks for reading! Get in touch if you think we'd vibe well together
Hey folks! I'm looking for a sharehouse that's chill, clean and respectful. I'm a vegetarian, bit of a creative, enjoy reading and making music and consider myself an extroverted introvert. I love a biting wit and have a good sense of humour. My cat is part and parcel with me so I hope you like a fluffy, moving heatbag. I work part time in media and will be studying photography and design on the side next year. I originally started out looking for a place for my partner in crime too, however I believe I may find what I'm looking for if I fly solo too! If you think we could live together, get in touch!
I keep to myself, easy going and very tidy. I am looking to house share with another adult for at least a year (happy to share rent and expenses with the right person) I have one 13 year old teenager (so someone with one or two children ok also), I am in the process of building over this next year so looking for cheap accomodation for a year.
Easy going, social, hardworking, self employed business owner, clean and tidy, very accepting, non discriminant, have a car, can store personal furniture and effects off site, love pets, handy man, very resourceful, communal spirit, sharing, caring, enjoys cooking, living a healthy lifestyle and balance.
I'm an student/part-time worker looking for adventure. I come from a small city/large town on an island called Victoria. Not Victoria, Australia but Victoria, Canada. I clean up after myself, I wash my own dishes, hell I'll even vacuum and clean the washrooms if I have time because I kinda like doing that stuff. I'm looking to room for at least 4 months in Melbourne. I have 6ish years restaurant experience at 3 different places, and all the stupid drunk stories I can't remember until I get drunk and remember said stupid stories. Cheers, heres to good times.
I'm an electrician and I run my own business but in my spare time love to head to the beach, go mountain biking, go to gigs, garden, build furniture, cook, keep fit, catch up with mates etc. Pretty active but also enjoy relaxing at home listening to records with a beer or watching Netflix. Very clean and tidy, easy to get along with and have a chat but also respect peoples space when they need it. Looking for a room for over the summer as i'm about to sell my house in Hahndorf and will be off travelling in April/May next year.
I'm a very quiet tenant who is full-time employed at an engineering company and I'm involved in a number of community organisations. I'm very socially engaged and have a very wide and extensive group of friends that I visit however rarely have over. I like watching old movies, listening to old music, and reading old books (there's a pattern there) but I'm very interested in new things and look forward rather than backward. I'm open minded on social issues and enjoy a good belly laugh. I try and keep myself in good condition though I am susceptible to a nice shiraz. A great day for me is breakfast at a nice cafe and a walk or swim at the beach. My life is an open book so if you'd like to know something then just ask me. I'm looking for long term accommodation however never say never. Please note I am not looking for share house accommodation.
Hi there! I'm Ryan, a 26-year-old Melburnian moving westward to complete a Master of Archaeology and Heritage Management at Flinders University in 2018 after graduating from a Master of Arts and Cultural Management and BA at the University of Melbourne, alongside work in the creative industries, communications and higher education. I suppose with that you could say I'm an avid learner, but I'll also admit to being a friendly, helpful and fairly capable person. Considering I won't be moving over to Adelaide until the latter half of February 2018, I guess I'm also a bit anal as well — apologies if my premature profile leads to any false starts! I'm certainly happy to assist in any way I can around the house and be as quiet or sociable as necessary and appropriate, as well as always being tidy and courteous. Having travelled, worked with and become friends with people from plenty of places, I'm of course tolerant and accepting of everyone and would hope the feeling is mutual. Being quite the culture vulture, you'll likely spot me studying, reading or exploring Adelaide's arts and culture in my down time. As you can see, I've listed a handful of suburbs, but anywhere within a reasonable distance from Flinders University's Bedford Park campus works well. Feel free to be in touch to ask any questions or provide any advice!
I am a friendly, responsible mature aged female considerate if others. Clean & tidy I am happy to ‘pitch in’ to keep living spaces in order. Returning to Adelaide where I have managed properties and been invited to house/pet sit, gaining referrals along the way. Quite sociable, I enjoy what Adelaide has to offer from festivals, internatinal events to live theatre or a coffee with friends.
I’m an easy going, sociable health professional. I work long hours so I’m not always home, but when I am I enjoy to socialise a bit. I pride myself on my cleanliness although I’m not critical of others.
Howdy, I'm currently studying primary education whilst working 20+ hours per week in Glenelg. I'm pretty social but certainly like to keep to myself quite a bit as well. Lover of all things sport (footy, soccer, cricket, tennis) and play footy in the Hills. Preferably looking for a short lease with potential to extend. Have a 4 year old female sausage dog who is house trained. When I'm out I generally take her to mum's house to look after so she won't be a burden on housemates. I'm quite desperate to find a place as my current lease is up so if you've got anything available, hit me up! Cheers
(Only looking for new team ups, not existing room shares) Hey friends, I'm Lucy, I'm 20 years old and currently still living with my family Looking to move out within the next few months for more freedom and independence. (Don't be worried that if you were to get a house with me I'd be hit hard with reality and take off half way through the lease, because when I plan something, I stick to it, and this is me forever, or at least the amount of time I commit too) I work Monday to Friday in a Call Centre, work evenings and weekends part time, and work weekends doing Freelance Makeup. On weekends when I'm not working I party like most 20 year old's do. When at home, I like to lounge around either in my bed with Netflix, or on the couch with a good movie, which will most likely result in afternoon naps or dancing around the house with no pants on (I'll try to be fully dressed when your family comes over but no promises) In a roommate I'd be looking for someone like minded and respectful, it would be a huge plus to become friends aswel rather than just passing in the kitchen everyday (I can understand that becoming friends with your roommate can ruin things but I'd be determent to keep the divide) In a house I would be looking for something clean and low maintenance (not necessarily new but preferably new appliances) , would love a spare bedroom (which we can both use) for when friends need to stay, and a dishwasher for me is a must. (Nice bathtub also preferable for lush bath bombs!) I also wanted to mention first up, I have collected a lot of the furniture that would be required for the shared spaces in our home so I'm not too fussed (would actually be preferable) if you didn't have much furniture already, hence avoiding having double.
Hi there future friends! Where do I start? Ok basic things. I am a full time medical science student at the University of Adelaide and have just finished up my semester for the year. I run a semi successful small business completing other people’s CVs and resumes and have for quite some time now. I have been living with my parents for the duration of the year and feel the need it is time to move on and get back into adulting. I am an excellent cook, communicator, talker and listener. I am criminally clean, but am open to all different types of living. I guess you could say I am a free thinker. I am extremely open minded when it comes to a lot of things, and love to talk more than anything over a cup of coffee or a beer. I come with a little friend. His name is Archie. He is a 3 year old miniature shihtzu. He is microchipped and vaccinated, house trained. Basically he is just a teddy bear who likes to cuddl. I walk him morning and night to use the bathroom (tmi I know but people ask the question). He is predominantly an inside dog, but doesn’t not shed a single hair and is always groomed and cleaned. I will attach some pics of him if you like :) I just want a comfortable room to rent in a nice home with likeminded people. I love other people’s ckmoany but I do sometimes like my solitude meaning I might stay in my room for the whole evening g, but no doubt I’m working or watching Netflix! I’ve lived in a million share houses so am well aware of clashing dynamics and different situations and sort of see myself like a calm mediator who can see things from a lot of different peoples perspectives. I am probably going to pick up some casual work during the uni holidays as a way to keep myself busy, but my business means financially I am comfortable enough to be able to afford to contribute to everything required of me I have an extensive list of rental references, police check.. hey even add me on my socials to know a bit about me. I’m looking really asap. I don’t come with much as iv been living with my parents so there hasn’t been the need to own big things but am happy to contribute to things that may be required of me. I drive, although I have left my car with my Mum as I’m trying this new thing called riding a bike, walking and taking public transport as a way to keep fitter and more eco conscious. My personal interests are definitely music, film and television.. anything creative. I also love sport such as AFL and NBA. I come from a background working with indigenous people but went back to study to become a doctor this year. If I sound like someone who would fit into your humble abode, throw me a message and we can meet up! Archie is great with other animals but even just a little get together with him with who or what animal is at the property is probably a smart move. Most people that love him fall in love with him. He is very affectionate and very small. Thanks in advance homies
We are a friendly, fun loving, easy going couple who are tidy and enjoy socialising though we arent party animals and love a night in! We’re both new students at Flinders uni so it'd be amazing to find something close by, I study Social work and Daniel studies a bachelor in Arts (drama) though we both work part time. In our free time we both love to cook, watch movies, and both love animals, though do not have any.
