Hey Im Jamie, 26 years old. I am a down to earth guy, genuine and respectful, bit of an old soul. Im currently a Youth Mentor and a Counselling Student. My interests include yoga and buddhism. Looking to study further in the near future. Looking to live in a 2 bedroom place, preferable somewhere in the middle between south and city. Give us a message if this suits!
I am a mature 22 year old, responsible and reliable. I don't party, or have a crazy social life. I enjoy being home and working on the house and being in the garden. I don't drink often, enjoy a glass of rosè every now and then. I work full time for the government from home and attend uni full time. I am studying education and languages. I enjoy quiet weekends reading, catching up with friends, seeing the latest movie or working on the house. I prefer to have my own space, so own bathroom would be ideal, but not a deal breaker if the housemate is clean and respectable. I have my own car so a garage is preferred, but good street parking is also fine. I have my own bed and dresser. I also have a really nice (and new) couch and tv unit; but if the house is already furnished I can easily sell them or put them in a storage container. If this all sounds good, give me a buz or an email! Denielle
Hi, I'm a 23 year old student currently in my masters. I'm undertaking placement in Adelaide. Incredibly easy going,
I am looking for a decent place to live in for atleast two years, near Flinders University. I am an international student from India who doesn't have any preferred gender to be their house mate as long as they are understanding and decent. My expected month of arrival is in July. I am a clean and organised person who respects other people's privacy and in return asking the same. I am okay with pets.
Hey there, I am an incoming international PhD student from the Philippines. I am friendly and eager for chats when I'm not busy studying at home. I'm also neat with my things and can even cook for my flatmates occasionally! I'm quite adaptable, so please do hit me up and who knows you might find the perfect flatmate! :)
I'm Dawn, a Singaporean dietitian who was formerly a Flinders Uni graduate. I will be returning to Adelaide in mid July, which is the time I'm looking to start the lease. I am an excellent tenant as I always pay my bills on time and I'm a clean and responsible person. Being an avid swimmer, I would prefer to stay near the SA aquatic leisure centre. Also, I would be traveling to the city a lot, so I would really appreciate if the place is located near a train/tram station.
Hi my name is Mattea, I'm a 26 year old Dietitian, working at the Repat Hospital and studying at Flinders Uni. Looking for a room close by. Non-smoker, no pets. Im fairly easy going and clean. Prefer a furnished room but flexible with this.
Hi! I am a part time receptionist who will also be commencing university in August 2017 studying finance and accounting. I am looking for a modern house that I can share with 2 or 3 other females. I would preferably need to have a built in wardrobe or an included free standing wardrobe. I am a very responsible, funny and clean person who would like to share with people who have similar qualities. I am looking for somewhere that would be reasonably quiet as I would be studying in the house. However, I am an outgoing person who likes to socialise so having movie nights and cooking dinner together would be something I would love to do. Please get in contact with me if I sound like the right fit for your share house! :)
Hey potential roomies, I'm 22 and studying nursing at Flinders, I spend most weekends of winter either at the footy or watching it on TV. i enjoy a cheeky vodka occasionally and dont mind a shed session! I'm from the country originally so i get back there whenever i get the chance. I've been out of home for a few years now so i know how everything works in a share house, am respectful of everyone's possessions and privacy, would rather a chilled out house with people on the same wave length as me and enjoy to chill out or go out! The listed areas are onky a guide and am happy to live in most areas as long as not too far north or south! 😊😊
Hey! My name is Ruonan. I am an incoming student in Flinders to study my master degree in Social work. I used to be an ESL teacher in different countries. Personally, I love to make friends, chill and chat, work out and I also enjoy and respect personal space. I am tidy and self-organized. I also love animals and would have no problems living with one or two or more! Thanks for reading!
I'm a checkout chick with a medical science degree. I have a couple of contracted shifts per week on Wednesday evening, Friday evening and Sunday afternoons (and work another shift or two at other times which aren't guaranteed) and I play indoor soccer on Thursday nights, so you'll have a couple of nights each week with me out of the house. I can be sociable, but I will probably look to keep to myself and respect the privacy of other flatmates, since I think most people want to be left alone at home. Would be interested in having a few friends over every few of weeks, but won't be throwing any parties of my own. I'm also quite keen on animals, so if you've got pets that'll not be a problem.
Hey there, I'm a 26 soon 27 year old student from the beautiful black forest region in Germany and I will be working for 2 months in Flinder's hospital. I love all kinds of outdoor activities, for example hiking, climbing, and I hope I will be able to improve my surfing skills in Australia. At home I enjoy good banter as well as my private space, quiet with a good book and a coffee preferable on a balcony. I do love to cook, but I hate to cook for only 1 person. Therefore my current roommates (Henriette&Simon) are usually invited to join my meals and so will be you then :) I'm a calm and well traveled person. The last year I lived and studied in Spain. Therefore my head is still a bit confused in switching languages, but on paper I do have an official C1 level in English. Generally speaking, there won't be problems through language barriers...even so I might have to adapt to the Oz accent at the beginning. ;) What else: - I play saxophon, drums and guitar. I won't bring any instrument to Australia, so no worries about disturbing music practice ;) - the teen party time is over for quite a while now. I prefer to have good conversations and a beer with some friends in a bar or enjoy a good concert somewhere. Regarding the location of Adelaide you might find me from time to time with a wine at the beach for the sunset. - I'm fluent in English, Spanish, German of course and still struggeling with my French. - I do have family in Melbourne - so if you need some kind of local documents or wish for a local contact, I can also give you their contact details before I arrive. - I don't smoke, but it doesn't bother me. - I love animals. My girlfriend and I have a dog. (They won't be coming with me.) - I will do some roadtrips. If we come along as wished, I will offer you to join :) To get to know each other I would love to Skype or Whatsapp at some point :)
Resonably quiet, easy going person. I enjoy my own space but also enjoy other peoples company. I work a lot, with early starts so I'm looking for someone who doesn't stay up all night on weeknights.
Quite working guy looking for a furnished room. * Quite room especially at night; * Closed to public transport & supermarket will be nice; * Parking space is a plus;
Hey there! My name is Steph, and I'm a full time Masters student, studying speech pathology at Flinders University. I enjoy cooking and baking, sewing, pottering around in the garden, watching TV, and exploring new places. I'm newish to Adelaide, so at least there's plenty for me to explore! I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a furnished house. I have a full set of bedroom furniture, a few small kitchen appliances, and I can also contribute a 50 TV (or if there's no space, I'm happy to rehome it). I'd like to live with 1-3 other people who are interested in hanging out together at home every now and then. I'll be out at uni or placement for full days pretty much every day of the week, so I'm not looking for a house that's party central, but I would love to hang out on a friday evening and catch up over a cheeky beverage.
I'm considerate and generous, but in no way a door mat. I'm easy to get along with because I have many interests. I'm a huge nerd so expect comic books, video games (PC & Xbox One), and board games (think Catan). I will, on occassion, watch the A-League or EPL depending on how my teams are going. I have a hard drive with 1000+ movies so always up for a movie night. Don't mind a bit of a TV binge either (Netflix). Happy to share what's mine because I know you'll take care of it. I enjoy cooking, usually trying new things, and like to cook for others. A nice, big kitchen is preferable for that reason, some recipes can become quite elaborate! Recently gotten into growing my own herbs and vegetables so I would like a place where I can continue that. I'm as liberally minded as they come but not a part of the far-left. Don't expect political correctness. I have no problems at all with any nationality or sexuality, but all religions grind my gears. The areas I selected are purely based on NBN accessibility. This is a must for me. I'm not keen on house parties but enjoy social drinks. Always mindful of my flatmates. Just finished a BSc and applied for honours. Otherwise, I'm a freelance graphic designer picking up work whenever I can. I don't have a problem with smokers, as long as they keep it outside, weed also. No hard drugs though. I'm single. I don't care if you have a partner, but I expect all duties and expenses to be shared commensurately. I'm very easy to live with. I'm drama free and intend to stay that way.
Hi There! I'm looking for a housemate (preferably long term) to team up and share a property. I would like to find a place in the Daw Park/Melrose Park area or neighbouring suburbs (I have a long list of suburbs; south, south west and south east of the city I'd be willing to live in), modern-ish, with 2 bathrooms, air con, low maintenance, preferably a dishwasher, preferably 2 living areas (or a spare bedroom). A house, or a town house, somewhere with at least a little space and privacy. Pet friendly because I have a cat. I would like to find somewhere asap, but am flexible with my time frame. I'm thinking somewhere around $400 to $530 ish (total). I've seen some nice places that fit all this coming up around ascot park, edwardstown, millswood, plympton type suburbs recently. I am late 30s. Pretty laid back. Quiet, honest, fair, nice, friendly, think i'm pretty funny - pretty sure I am, sociable but don't go out much anymore, don't like confrontation, don't like bossy people, don't like self-centred people. I work full time and I work hard so I can be quite lazy in my free time and spend a lot of it sleeping in and watching tv and movies, if not brunching with friends, so I don't want to share with you if you have a tendancy to be judgey. I'm very close to my family. I like things pretty clean and tidy and would like someone who will be on my same wave length and help me clean the place when we've decided it needs cleaning (or maybe we could splash out on a cleaner!). I don't expect you to be cheery all the time..... I'm not. I like going out for brunch and meals in general. I'm good at basic cooking. I like the outdoors. I like movies. I don't like excerise but I wish I did. I like road trips. I like music festivals (but the grown up kind). I don't garden, but I do like gardens, especially herbs. I love food and coffee and tend to go through phases of no will power when it comes to food, so again no judgement please. Looove music, but only the good music that I like. Sooo, I've been living by myself for the last however many years and so have all the required furniture, but you might too, so a place with a garage would be good so we can store the extra things we have. This, and my love of tv is why I'd like a place with a second living area or spare bedroom so we could both have our own space to do what we want without being stuck in our bedrooms. Although if you'd like to join me in whatever i'm watching, that would be nice. We don't have to become friends, but that would also be nice.... I would prefer a female, just because I can be pretty shy around strangers. If you're a guy and you think our personalities will work, I'd still be happy to meet with you. I take a little while to warm up and come out of my shell and be myself and then you'll probably wish I'd get back in my shell ;) I know I said I wouldn't judge........ but........ *not a smoker *Vego and vegan fine so long as you respect my love of meat. *need to be reliable about money. i.e. splitting and paying bills. If you agree with at least most of what I've said please contact me and we can arrange to meet. Cheers Margo :)
Hey there, originally from NZ. Lived in QLD for 4 years but have moved to Adelaide for work long term. I have 2 jobs one full time and one casual. I have a well trained outdoor cat, he's pretty cool as far as cats go. I'm social but respectful of peoples privacy and space. I don't smoke and hardly drink but have nothing against it. I'm clean and tidy. I like to stay healthy and get out and about, always down for a bit of adventure.
I'm a 25 year old backpacker from the UK. I've just spent 4 months on a farm and am now ready to experience city life. I'm currently looking for work, so seeing what's around. I love movies, worked in a cinema for 4 years before leaving home. I attend music gigs and festivals as much as I can/my purse allows me. I don't drink loads, but will happily have a night out with my friends every once in a while, but also like to sit and watch Netflix with a nice home cooked dinner. I can cook, I'm not great but I'm learning a little bit more with every meal I cook. I'm looking for a furnished let preferably for between 3-6 months, as I need to be in Sydney by Christmas, and my working visa will only allow me 6 months with an employer.
Recent country girl who moved to the city for new opportunities. Easy going, friendly, social and usually gets along with almost anyone. I spend my pleasure time working on my writing/blog, reading, learning guitar, sight seeing and hoping soon to get back into sport and fitness. I'm usually a rather quiet housemate, but definitely up for Netflix nights, social drinking and hanging out in general. My spaces are always well kept and I'm in no way lazy. Looking for housemates with similar qualities. I have two black cats, one male and one female (Alpha & Violet). Both are de-sexed, microchipped and fully house trained. Mainly outside cats, however are required to come inside at night. These will both be coming with me, so pets accepted is a must, sorry they are my babies ^.^ Feel free to message me at anytime if you have any questions or are interested in rooming with me!
Just moved back to Adelaide to be closer to my family. Looking to share a house with people for both company and to save some dollars. Free of the obligations I am responsible for overall for the next 6-8 months and being as highly motivated and energetic as i am would like to keep distracted during this time Looking for someone who could use some help around the house and with any general assistance they might require. Or just good company!! I do not know many people in Adelaide and due to circumstances need to remain here for the foreseeable future. I am lonely and going bonkers even though I study online and help a good friend occasionally with her small business i am still with too much spare time. For the moment I have no real purpose until my situation finalises around December. So if your a busy or just lonely person who could use a hand or company as well as a reliable friendly house trained tenant to share your home and / or life with no strings attached for the next 6-9 months give me a call
Hello and thanks for reading this! My name is Luke, I am Australian from the Flinder's Ranges and have travelled a bit. I love the beach and hiking, scuba diving and snorkelling. Being involved with the Latino community, I speak Spanish and I am interested in teaching English via Skype in the future. I work in Hospitality, involved with functions and events. I have plenty of savings so rent and bills are no problem. I have at least 4 years references of around $200 pw never missed. More about me... I don't smoke, love friendly bbq's, love reggae, salsa, merengue.. all the latino/caribe/pacifico music and culture. I like having a bevvy on social occasions and I certainly have no interest in drugs. I play a bit of acoustic and just bought a bright yellow ukulele. :) I have a lot of experience in share houses, I am open-minded and easy going, but will certainly stand up for what is right. I have many experiences that I would love to share and listen and learn what you have been up to. At the end of the day, I like nothing more than an occasional cold cider and a good book or scifi film. I cannot stand the TV! So if you like to watch the TV all the time and loud, I am probably not going to enjoy living with you :) I generally keep to myself, although I'm an open door kind of person. I like to cook and I always clean as I go. Lastly, I was in building and machine maintenance for 14 years, so no worries about leaky taps and broken door handles ;-) I really look forward to talking with you and meet for a coffee. Luke
