I'm a fun, easy going girl from England. I've come to Australia alone and am fully embracing the aussie lifestyle. Looking to live near to the beach so I can spend my days off there and try my hand at surfing! I have a degree in Graphic design and I have a love for yoga, cooking, travel, illustration, fitness and the outdoors. I love to socialise but am very chilled out mostly, not a huge party person but definitely enjoy a drink every now and again. I work in a bar at Darling Harbour and shifts vary from week to week. Looking to stay in Sydney for the next few months and would love to meet more like minded people.
Hi! My name is Per. I'm a 24 year old Norwegian doing a year exchange at UNSW. I'm an outgoing person which loves to get to know new people. In my spare time I work out, surf and I also like to go out for a beer or two. This will be my second semester at UNSW. My first semester I lived in Kingsford but I figured it is a bit too far from the beach and from surf. We have a big Norwegian community here in Sydney, but I also love to meet new cultures, that's why I don't apply with other Norwegians for a place to stay. I'm looking for a place to stay during my second and last semester here in Sydney. Feel free to ask if you have any further questions. Since my semester is starting next week it would be great to have a look at the room as soon as possible. Regards, Per
Hi there! :) I'm a recent graduate coming from the US on a Working Holiday Visa and I'll be staying in Sydney longterm; finding full time work as soon as I arrive. I'm tidy, very respectful of other peoples' space, and very used to living with a lot of people since I am one of seven kids and I've lived with ten friends before (though we were all strangers before we moved in together). I love traveling and meeting new people, which is why I'm coming to Australia but I definitely enjoy having a peaceful, stable place to call home. Can't wait to meet you!
LOOKING FOR A PLACE BY UNSW!! Hello! My name is Chiara Forchielli and I am from Canada on an international exchange to UNSW. My best friend Abbie and I are currently staying in Coogee Beach in an Airbnb. Because of how expensive it is, we can only afford to stay 4 more days. This means that are desparate to find a place to live for the duration of semester 1. We are looking to be relatively close to the university and pay between $180-300 max. We would prefer single rooms, but we are also interested in hearing about any shared rooms available. Please, if anyone can recommend a place, it would be tremendously appreciated!!!!
Hey I'm Jen (30, kiwi) I work Wednesday to Saturday and like to be active, outdoors and social. Also like being alone, running, yoga, reading and doing anything I can listen to music to. I try to live a Eco/sustainable life and eat mostly vegan/vegetarian but generally healthy. Like to indulge in wine and treats :) I'm domesticated and responsible (cooking, baking, cleaning etc) but very chill, enjoy watching docos, lots of Netflix and sometimes even sports! Animal and nature lover. I have a partner but he is going away for work for a while so would like to meet some awesome people.
I'm a 28 yr old professional inline skater working as a skate instructor when in Sydney. I travel quite a lot with work and spend most of my time abroad competing in contest, demos and on tours. I'm Looking for a place to call home when not on the road. Cheers Cj
Hey Future-Flatmates, we both are reliable, tidy and super laid-back. Also we are not the 24/7 party-people but are open-minded when it comes to a good party as well. :) We are looking for a flat asap, so do nit hesitate to contact me at any time!
Hi! My friend and I are here in Sydney for an exchange at UNSW from the USA, and we are looking for accommodation in a shared apartment with private bedrooms. We would also be open to sharing a room between ourselves. We are fun, clean and friendly girls looking for roommates who are the same!
I'm a 21yo Kiwi, I moved to Coogee in July '16 to experience the Aussie lifestyle. I wish I could say my occupation was a full time beach bum but unfortunately it doesn't pay the bills! I'm a full time working professional in Kensington. Others consider me as happy, respectful, considerate, easy going, and very tidy. I enjoy having a tidy, peaceful, stable place to call home. Let me know if you'd like to chat further. All the best with your search. Cheers, Molly
Hi! My name is Dustin and I'm an American construction worker. I'm clean cut, have tattoos, and am prone to impromptu adventures. My past varies from being a Sunday school teacher to being an underground rave dj, but right now my life's focus is on carving a professional niche in this city and building a real, respectable life. For me, this is a fresh start. I'm certainly no virgin, but my days of partying are mostly behind me and my priorities are towards building a peaceful life, a prosperous home, and eventually a marriage. I had a lot of fun and have no regrets...but now it's time for something different. I was a dj in America, but now I'm learning to surf, and would like to pick up yoga, and generally have a healthier lifestyle. I love art and artistic people, philosophers, dreamers, etc but who also have their feet on the ground. I'm open minded to new perspectives and am fascinated with human nature. I'm clean, considerate, and can be entertaining at times. I sleep thru anything. I can carry my weight domestically and am well balanced between being fun and responsible. I'm friendly, open minded, and polite. Hit me up and let's visit for a minute!
Friendly and reliable professional (shiftworker) quiet, tidy, non smoker from the Philippines. Dog lover and won't mind sharing a flat with pet owners (don't own one). Cooks from time to time and loves to read, watch movies and tv series in her down time. Have shared a flat before and is easy going and likeable. Looking at moving from the 6th of March as my current lease is ending from the 3rd week.
I am a 30 year old working professional from the UK. I am laid back, clean and tidy, enjoy cooking, socializing with friends and beaching at the weekend. Looking to live where people interact with each other rather than just live in their rooms 24.7
Im a 22yo Kiwi gal. I work full time in the city. I'm very easy going and down to earth. I'm super clean and tidy, have shared housing for the past 5 years so know how to be considerate of other people and their belongings. I am keen to find a place that feels more like a home rather than just a place to crash, a place where the flatties hang and keep it real together. I am a beach bum at heart, and spend most of my free time there. Coming from NZ I do love my rugby, so would be a plus if you do too! I'm into the gym and healthy living. I also don't mind a wine or two at the end of the week!😊 I love to have a laugh and get along with everyone, and am keen to meet new people. Im looking for somewhere with good vibes and no drama. If this sounds like you, then get at me!
Very friendly, easy going and neat. Have experience living in a share house previously. Looking for a place close to work. Lead a pretty busy lifestyle but also love cooking and having some down time at home! :)
Hi I am a Travelling Stylist and Designer. I have been travelling around the world for the past year or so meeting new people, finding inspiration and discover new places. Along my travels I have been building teams of young entrepreneurs and creatives to collaborate on fun and interesting fashion projects. The purpose of these projects is to help local artists in each country to network with one another, learn how to build a project and create something spectacular with complete strangers !! The photos from each project are shared on everyone's social media platforms and submitted to magazines for potential publication. When I am in a new household I treat it as my own.I like to keep it clean and follow any house rules that may apply. This makes me feel more at home and useful. I am a very creative person, fashion orientated and run my own Headwear and Styling Label. I am always looking for new inspiration and what better way to do this than through travel. I have a very bubbly personality and I love meeting and talking with new people. I look forward to my new adventures and the possibility of sharing them with you. See you soon, Helena
Hi guys I am looking for a nice place to stay near the coast. I am 28 years old, both Aussie and Swiss and work full-time in Randwick. I live a healthy lifestyle and enjoy my free time on the beach. I am very sociable and enjoy chatting over beers or wine and cheese:). Hopefully I hear from you soon, cheers Janine
Hello, I'm a 30 years old guy finishing my medical studies in france and completing an internship in medical research in sydney. I really enjoy meeting new people and sharing good talk and time out but I need to live in a clean place with respectful people as well.
My boyfriend and I are both from the island of Mauritius. We are easy going, we enjoy many activities such as going to the beach, sports, camping, having a night out, personal development, watching movies... We are also respectful of others at home, tidy, and enjoy cooking and sharing a meal when everyone's up for it. We spent the last 6 years in Europe (UK and France), shared many flats, and met many amazing people. We'll both be out of home most time of the day either studying and / or working, perhaps even at night sometime. Planning to spend 4ish months in Sydney before heading north to Asia for the rest of the year. We're looking forward to meet like-minded people, discover Sydney, and enjoy our time there :-)
Hi! I'm Naveen, in the medical line currently pursuing my masters in UNSW. I consider myself a simple and uncomplicated individual. Having lived and traveled in a few countries i am excited about the endless possibilities and life long relationship that could be created during my time in Sydney. As a clean and organised person who is not loud, I feel that you will find me as a decent person to live with.
I´m Brazilian and I'm in my second intership. I used to work with strategic consulting in Brasil and I'm doing Project Management course. I'm clean and calm, respectfull, like to chat and having friends in house once in while.
Hi my name is Francina, I'm a super easy going girl. At home I like to be quiet but I will love to live on a active house ( share some wine or meals and have talks with the roommates) I'm from Spain and I came here by myself so any new friends will be super welcome in my life. Outside of the house I love to work out, I dance bachata and I love to do stuff like visit places, travel, do walks go to the beach and many other things. I'm a really happy girl and super positive.
Hey my name is Sarah. I'm a 25 year old registered nurse working full time. Looking to share with only one other female flatmate. I need an unfurnished room with a built in wardrobe. I'm friendly and easy going. I like socializing but also my quiet time. I tend to keep to myself mostly, but I also enjoy company at times and sharing the common areas. I usually spend weekends at home, seeing friends or outdoors. I want my home to be a relaxing and quiet place. However, I do like having drinks on the occasion. No parties unless arranged together. I like to keep a tidy place and always clean up after myself. I'd like to share with someone who is like minded, respectful and considerate :)
I am moving to Sydney from Brisbane to study a Masters at UNSW and work. I have been in Australia for some time now, however I have English roots and grew up in Hong Kong. I am looking for a furnished room to move into for the year. I have done a lot of travel and I am sure that we can find something in common!
Hi guys, I'm Julie, 26 years old, and I'm about to leave my home country Germany to start my new life in Sydney. :) My Aussie boyfriend Rob and I have lived in Munich for the last 1,5 years and I just got my permanent visa for Australia granted. We are both easy going, life-loving people and we are now looking for a new home with friendly, like-minded housemates. We have lived in shared houses/ shared flats ever since we know each other and we value a friendly, fun, respectful and clean atmosphere. We both love the beach, bbqs, sports and occasional drinks with our housemates :) Cheers Julie & Rob
My name is Emma, I'm 30 and I'm on a Working Holiday visa. I'm about to start a new job on Monday so I'm looking to get out of my friend's hair and move out. I have a place from March 15th, so I need somewhere for a couple of weeks. I love music, art and writing, I really want to learn to surf while I'm out here and also do a cage dive with sharks. I know how to have a good time but mostly I'm pretty chill. I love to cook (I'm veggie) and I love being in the water. I'm pretty clean around the house and like to contribute to wherever I'm living. Looking to make new friends while I'm out here and hopefully that will start at home :)
Hi my name is Val, I studied in Germany and now I'm doing my work and holiday in Australia. I am tidy, sociable, reliable, respectful and really easy going. I also like to cook, be active in nature and i absolutely love the beach! Hope to talk to you soon, Cheers
A couple of 2, both very easy going, clean and serious enough. We have lived abroad for more than 3/4 years and already experienced shared apartment with Roommates for many years. As we are getting sponsored for a Job, and as you must know it is not so easy at first to settle down to Sydney, we would need a least 4-6 month master bedroom if possible, to wait for Visa, and little by little settle down in Sydney :) We are having a stable situation, like to spend time out, party but definitely respect other's flatmates life. We definitely look for a non-party/student life (I mean not on daily basis), looking for a nice, clean apartment and settled down flatmate. Otherwise, not complicated at all.. :)
Hey, I'm Jo. I'm a Marketing Manager, new to Sydney but loving it - have been here since mid-Jan. I am looking for sublet opportunities while I work out where I want to live. I'd like a place to stay from 26 Feb to 6 March. I am sporty, into music, a big explorer and up for a good time!
Hey!! I am a 27 year old professional from london currently working full time in the building services industry.. I am looking for a nice spacious private double room to rent for the next 3-6 months (possibly longer) in either Coogee, Randwick or Bondi Junction. I love my own space but would also like to live with someone that would want to hang out and have a drink sometime and I also love to cook so happy to have meals together in the evenings etc. at the weekend I like to hang out at the beach and go for drinks with friends (potentially a few during the week too) if you have what I am looking for please contact me and also please note I have to give two weeks notice at my current place.
Hi everyone! I am a 24-year-old engineer from France but living and working in Sydney since mid-february. What is there to say about me? Well, first I am a very organized and tidy individual, and my friends never miss an opportunity to joke about it! I am also very open-minded, dynamic and serious. I travelled quite a few times and for long periods (US mostly) so I learnt to easily adapt myself to different culture and locations. My main passion is aviation, I have my private pilot license and if we end up sharing the same appartment then you can tag along with me for a flight! I also run on a regular basis, it' the best way to see around the city and burn some calories (combining the pleasant and the useful)! Cheers! Charles
Hey everyone! Two Lithuanian girls are looking for a room to rent from 3-6th of the March! We are willing to pay max360$ for a room! Both of us are really friendly, bubbly personalities, love to keep our place clean, and sometimes cook a nice meal! Both students and working. Always paying on time, so wont be any problems. We would love to move in a place with cool people!
I'm very friendly, respectful, calm-natured, tidy, house/share-house broken (I know how to do this!) I love to cook, create, love a laugh, explore the local scene, love to get a bit silly over a few chocolate milks and not only make a new housemate but make new friends too! I am an executive assistant/office manager, currently in new full-time/perm role transition (getting to the nitty gritty of final interviews now!) so my move-in date takes this into account. I like a bit of appropriate (and inappropriate) activewear use, I enjoy equal parts chilling out and being out & about, it's all about balance :) I feel that home should always be your happy place, in whatever form that takes! I like coming together as a house as well which can be as simple a mid-week glass of wine, a movie night, a night out, a few friends around for BBQ, Fleetwood Mac Sundays - don't even get me started on Tina Turner Fridays - while organising life for the week, mutually arranged ambient lighting...the options are literally endless! Haha
English couple who are in Australia on our second year working holiday visa. Hope to be working full time Monday - Friday and then enjoy our weekends. We enjoy going out to the beach and having a few drinks. Don't want a party house but would like to live with sociable people who enjoy the same things as us!
I am a fourth year Renewable Energy Engineering & Computer Science student studying at UNSW. For the first half of 2017 I will be undertaking a full time internship at a solar company in Redfern. I have had a lot of experience in shared houses/apartments, am super easy going but also value mutual respect and cleanliness. I love to socialise and am really excited about meeting new people and making new mates.
Easy going, considerate couple. Very tidy. Love to cook, keep fit, socialise. Live food and wine. Always quite busy with work and after work activities so would not be around the house much. I am a hairdresser and Liam is a project manager. We are both from Ireland. We are permanent residents and have just applied for citizenship.
Looking for a private room in a share house or other to live in for 6+ months. Im clean and easy to live with having to get up early for work/exercise. Im studying at UNSW as a second year engineering arts student and so have lots of contacts hours at Uni. Also want to keep fit and play sport as well as do beach trips on the weekends.
Hey guys! I'm an exchange student from Texas studying at UNSW for the semester. I love what I've seen of Sydney so far, and I'm hoping to find a room with others looking to explore Australia. A bit about me, I'm a Business student and enjoy running, cooking, reading, podcasts, exploring and meeting new people! Let me know if you'd think we'd be a good match.
Irish & just moved to Sydney after spending a few months travelling. Work Mon-Fri as a speech pathologist so like to take it easy during the week but to love to head out mainly at the weekend! Looking for accommodation with clean, laidback, similiar minded house mates!
Hi, I'm looking a short or long term room, ideally a relaxed, positive home with genuine people. Consider myself to be easygoing and considerate. I have full time job with an eCommerce company. Been share housing for a while and always pay my bills on time. My interests are cycling, travel, movies and live music. I'm from South America, but have lived in Australia for most of my life. I speak Spanish and am happy to help you practice :)
Hi! My name is Mia, I'm a 21 (soon 22) year old girl from Norway. I'm an exchange student at University of Technology Sydney, and need to find a place to live during my last semester at uni, which means from end of February/beginning of March to end of June/beginning of July. I would like to find a place either near the beach or closer to uni, like Ultimo, Newtown, Surry Hills, and other places around close to CBD. In addition to studying, I like to work out, be social, cook, watch movies and do all sorts of fun stuff. I can absolutely join a party or two, but I'm not the typical party girl and I really do enjoy a quiet evening at home. However, if you like to party, that's fine by me! I'm a very tidy person, that likes to have my surroundings clean (got that from my mom...), so for one's own room one can do whatever they want, but I think it is important to keep it neat and nice in the shared rooms. I'm a person that likes to hang with my friends and get to know other people, but I also do enjoy my own company. Overall, I think I'm just a typical, normal girl with Norwegian characteristic, who is easy to get along with!
Hello, I'm Didier, a postgrad student from Paris. I'd just completed my 2nd year of master degree and I'm coming to UNSW for starting a PhD in Physics (for 3 years). I'm looking for a nice place to live very near of UNSW, (4 or 6 months minimum, but I'm flexible for more or less) (in the area of Kensington, Randwick, Kingsford). I'll be landing at Sydney on Tuesday 7th of March. I prefer a private room; shared bathroom and kitchen is fine. Please send me a message or SMS. I can give you more details then. Best, Didier
I am very sociable, and would be up for doing things at the weekends and exploring Sydney with my new flatmates! However, I respect individuals personal space, and am tidy and feel like I am easy to get along with and pull my weight with cleaning etc. I have lived in house/flatshares for the last two years back at home so I am completely used to sharing kitchens, bathrooms etc.
Hi all! My name's Antoine, I'm a 24 yo French engineer who just got to Sydney. I'm fun to live with, pretty relaxed, clean and tidy, and I enjoy having a drink at home. I'm not the hardcore party type but I can enjoy some clubbing from time to time.
I'm Tom, a 28-year-old lawyer working in the city full-time. Work hours are typically 8:30am-6:30pm, Mon to Friday. I'm relaxed and tidy and always happy to share a meal and drink. Outside of work, I'm usually out with friends, at the gym or relaxing on my own.
I currently work at channel 9 in the city doing advertising and sales. I also will start working part time for Football NSW at the end of March doing some writing for them as well as studying online through Australian Institute of Fitness this year. I am looking to move closer to work from my current living situation. I am a very easy going person and easy to live with. For fun I enjoy sport as I do play soccer, going to the beach, going out on the weekends and socialising.
Hey, I'm a super chilled dude looking for an amazing spot to stay. I'm a 27 year old builder so I'm at work all week and most weekends. If I'm not at work I'm busy , at the beach, training and/or eating. Looking for a place with good vibes and great people. I'm social and love a cheeky bev but respect everyone's space and quiet times. I'm clean, considerate and all that good stuff that makes living together great. Happy for a 12 month lease at the right place, something longer or shorter works too.
