Hi there! We’re english backpackers from Manchester on working holiday visas. We’re looking somewhere homely to settle down for a few months to get work and save some money from our previous travels!
Design architect, quiet, straight, mature, friendly, and reliable. Have been renting for the past few years, have seen and experienced all kinds of things, been a housemate, landlord, caretaker myself. If you can read this, then I'm still looking! Have a 2.4m long table, so it needs to go somewhere :( If the room is a 3x3, the table will effectively use up 50% of that space, fyi. Also have 2 x corner chairs and a car. Don't need to be furnished. Speaks Mandarin and Malay and some other useless dialects too. Career driven, I'm always busy with something work related. I'm also flexible with the location, as long as it is not too far away from public transport.
Hi! *LOOKING TO MOVE IN DURING MARCH/APRIL* My name is Lucy and I work in IT. I enjoy going to F45 / the gym, playing video games and boardgames, reading, watching movies (especially horror and action) and drinking the occasional Guinness. If you're geeky / nerdy then we will get on well. I am down to earth, clean / respectful, LGBT friendly, animal friendly and enjoy quiet nights in with a glass of wine / bottle of beer, some Netflix and video games. Not a party / clubbing person either. I am considering getting a cat or a dog when I move, but if this causes an issue, I can wait until I live alone. I am a big animal lover and I currently own a dog which would stay with my parents, so it would be great to meet a fellow animal lover. I am easygoing and enjoy a laugh, and if we become friends while rooming together, then that is an ultra plus too! Always up for making friends, especially new video game / movie buddies. I'm looking mainly to have my own studio / granny flat, or to share with one other person, but if I meet the right people I am happy to extend this to a larger group. :)
I'm moving from Brisbane to Sydney to work with SBS News as a Cadet Journalist. I'm hired straight out of university, having previously freelanced with Channel 10. I'm on a 12-month contract to start from February 4, working regular full time hours Monday to friday, although my shifts will likely change as breaking news occurs, and I'll be spending stints in Melbourne and Canberra as part of my training. Unsurprisingly, I do watch and consume a lot of news, both national and international. I'm also a big sports fan, really into Cricket and Formula One and always keen to go for a match. I'm also geeky about pop culture, movies, comedy and videogames. I play the drums, piano and guitar (although I'll only be bringing the guitar down from Brisbane). I can sing but will only do it when you're out of the house (unless you don't mind it). Music taste is firmly rooted in Classic Rock. I am hoping to take my car with me (it's a Hyundai i30 wagon with an absurd amount of boot space and would prefer a place with off street parking. A reasonably fast internet connection would be nice as well. I'm a quiet person at home who likes my personal space but am always keen for some conversation at the dining table or in the lounge. All in all, I'm a quiet, chill, gay, christian male who doesn't drink, smoke or swear. Ideally, I'd like someone who shares some of the same interests as me in their 20s who is happy to live with a friendly nerd like me.
I'm friendly and easy going person. I like to keep the place clean and tidy. I have been sharing for a few years now and like to find not just a place, but a great people too. In my free time, I enjoy spending time on the beach, explore new places, hang out with friends, read books and watch movies. I have a full time job in administration that I enjoy. I like to socialise and have a glass or two wine, but I am definitely not a party animal.
I am a 32 year old IT professional from the UK and have lived in Sydney for nearly 8 years. My weekdays are mostly taken up with work so I like to relax on the weekends and enjoy a few drinks and a BBQ. I am not looking for a party house but am sociable so, looking for flatmates who are the same. I like my own space but am also happy to sit on the couch and watch a good film or tv series. I am easy to get along with and like to keep things neat and tidy around the place but I am not a clean freak! 🙂
Just a normal, clean and tidy, friendly and easy to get on with gal moving back to Sydney after living in NYC. Ideally would love a house with other similar minded women who are down for a chat but happy to have alone time. I work full time in finance and work longish hours. I love a bit of sport (touch footy), a huge fan of F45, and heading out and about with mates. A furnished place would be ideal and I plan on staying for at least 6 months preferably 12.
We are a young couple who are laid-back and passionate about our work and study. Adrian is an engineer and Aly works in education. We both work in the city and study part time. We are quiet and like time to ourselves but also enjoy the occasional drink and are looking for flatmates who are open to casually socialising. Both of us enjoy board game and card nights! We are friendly people who enjoy a relaxed lifestyle. Both of us grew up in Sydney, and are moving from the Hills District. We're looking for somewhere with flatmates who are similar minded and easy to get along with. We require one secure underground parking space. - LGBT+ friendly - Non-smokers
I work full time as an administration manager in asset broking firm in St Leonards. My hours can be long and I work Monday - Friday so I'm just looking to relax and chill out when I get home from work in the evenings. I'm a relaxed, friendly person who likes to have a chat and a drink but also respects others need for space and privacy. I'm clean and tidy and hope for the same in a new housemate situation. I do have a ragdoll kitten called Ivy who is the sweetest cat ever, she's not a deal breaker for moving as she can stay at home but if there was any chance she could come with that would be amazing.
Hello future flatmate! My name is Catherine, I work full time in book publishing at Allen & Unwin. I'm a pretty quiet, tidy person. I've recently started a new job and am looking to move closer to crows nest reduce my comute time from my current place in Randwick. I'm a massive reader with my own mini library collection that is constantly growing. Looking for a place that will fit accomodate my three bookcases and comfy green reading armchair in the place :) I love to cook, especially sweet treats, and am known to cook for my flatmates at least once a week. Don't mind a glass of wine every now and then, but not a big drinker or into parties. I'm looking for a flatmate who is more of a friend that just someone to live with. I am looking to move early Jan around the 13th but need to lock in a place this week.
Hello! I'm an undergraduate student studying at Macquarie University. I work part time at Coles. I'm easy to get along. Love making new friends and hanging out. Love to play soccer. Just looking for a separate room for myself.
Hello!! My name is Hannah, I am a 25 yr old full time health care worker. I am moving to Sydney from Melbourne in February, 2019 to start a new role in Lane Cove. I am so excited to move to Sydney as I am originally from the Central Coast and I have missed the culture and WARMTH of NSW (sorry, Melbourne). I am after a share house in the inner North on the train line. I do have a car however I hope to sell it next year so I would preferably like to live near the train line! About ME: I am a social being who enjoys keeping busy and active! During the week, I am low key and tend to spend my time after work reading, going to the gym and browsing Kmart LOL. I do have a podcast that I co-host with a Melbourne friend and a professional Instagram which takes time during the week. On the weekend, I envision I will be quite busy as I have many friends from the Coast who now live in Sydney. I have been living in share houses since 18 and have learnt to live with various personalities. I am laid back, clean, considerate and enjoy banter with housemates and the somewhat frequent Friday bev or social outing. You should contact me if you are after someone social who doesn't hide or scatter to their room at the sound of foot steps (I mean we have all lived with that type and know how uncomfortable it can be!) My current housemate who I have been living with for over a year is happy to be a referee should you require. His email is available upon request. PS. I will be in Sydney from 23rd December- 2nd January for Christmas and can be available to look at places if you are around :) It's not my dog in the photo (It's my friends dog who I occasionally kidnap for cuddles and walks...). If you have a dog, I am VERY OKAY WITH THAT. In fact, dog homes are preferred :') Can't wait to hear from you!! :) Hannah
Moving to Sydney (from Canberra) for a new job and needing to find a place to live quite quickly! I work in communications and can be both a social butterfly but also love a good Netflix binge. Really looking forward to the move and getting to spend my summer going to Sydney's beautiful beaches!
Hey! Newish to Sydney (moved down from Brisbane 9 months ago). Looking for cool, like minded people to share a place with, and the odd drink/meal every now and then. A bit about me: I work at Google as a UX designer; love a beer or two; and am trying to get back into touch footy down here
Hi there! I'm Vanessa, I'm 23 yo. I'm currently studying IT at ACU and working part-time. I'm a very easy-going person and I am looking for a nice, organised and cosy place to live in, close to uni and with nice flatmates;). Hello, my names Michael, I’m 31 & originally from England. I live in Sydney permanently & currently work full time in North Sydney. I’m very active but also love music, photography & videography. Hi, I'm a 33 year old professional working in the North Sydney area. I'm originally from WA but have been in Sydney for almost 2 years. In my spare time, I try to get to the gym, swim, study and watching NHL. I'm easy going and have experience in share houses. I'm fairly quiet and keep to myself at home but would love a house mate I can be friends with, have a wine or two with and some giggles. I would prefer a room large enough to room a queen bed, bedside tables, and a desk, with ensuite and car park. Open to housemates with well-kept pets My current lease has expired and my move date is 7 January 2019.

Hi! I’m 28 and work as a property manager in the city. I’m a very chilled person who loves all things fitness. Train early and work full time so rarely at home. Wish to move to a more central location to work.
I am neat and tidy. I’m really easy going but tight on my responsibilities. I don’t mind tolerable noise (musicians) environment so I’m really easy to be around. I work as a concierge in Darling Harbour and does Ubering on the side. I’m a registered Nurse in the Phils and in the States. I went here to study and possibly moving in for good. Cheers.
