About me -------------- - I've just quit my job a structural engineer in Brisbane to move to Sydney and start a PhD in coastal engineering. - I'm a bit of a nerd and into technology, gaming, reading, and programming. - I'm not a party animal, much prefer to stay in, open a bottle of wine and cook up a storm, or go to a quiet pub. - I also enjoy hiking and am keen to explore any day trips around Sydney. - My boyfriend and I are doing long-distance as he is working in Vancouver for the next couple of years. Living with me -------------------- - I'm a clean, tidy and considerate person to live with. - During the week, I'll be in the lab during the day. After work, I'll hit the gym or go for a run, have dinner and read/game/tv before bed. - During the weekend, I'll spend a bit of time getting chores done. Otherwise, I'll be out enjoying the beach, exploring Sydney and catching up on books or games. What I'm looking for ----------------------------- - Accommodation around the Northern Beaches starting in mid to late January around $300-350 per week. - Long-term accommodation is preferable (as I'll be in Sydney for the next 4 years). - Medium to large bedroom (need space for double or queen bed plus a desk for study). - No problems sharing a bathroom, although will need someplace for a car. - Good internet is more important that I'm willing to admit. - Cats and dogs are great. - Non-smoking housemates are a must. - I don't mind furnished or unfurnished, but either way, I'm bringing my ice cream maker.
We are a couple from the Czech Republic. We arrived in Sydney on 23rd November on partnership visa. My girlfriend is going to study APC and we both are going to find a job and start working here. We are openminded, active people who like all kinds of sports, travelling and backpacking in countryside. We would like to meet the real Aussie culture, easygoing people and enjoy our visit as much as we can. Our plan is to stay abroad about one year, but we will see how the things go. We are looking for a pleasant accomodation, which won't be too expensive and which will offer us a new peaceful home. We prefer long-term rent and location around Manly and near beaches.
My partner and I (females) are looking for double room. We are easily getting along with people. We are social, respectful, responsible and calm people. Something near Brookvale and Dee Why would be perfect, because I have job there.
I'm positive, mature, friendly, likeable, active and interesting. At least I like to think so. I'm also domesticated and like to keep a clean and tidy house. I have a friendly companion in the form of a Cavoodle named Tyson. I get on with people of all ages. Currently sharing with foreign students in their 20s who like my cooking!

I'm a clean and respectful roommate. I've shared about 4 homes over the past years, the most long term ones being with couples, I'm very easy to get on with. I love to relax by the beach, cook, and watch movies. Not into partying but rather sharing a couple drinks with friends.
Hey guys! We are an easy going couple looking for a new home, a little bit about us, I am Sally (30yrs old) originally from Brisbane moving to Sydney for work and my partner Guillermo (31yrs old) is from Spain. On the weekends you will find us mostly outdoors enjoying the beach, surfing, wakeboarding, cycling or going on an adventure in the national parks. Looking for a home where we can relax and chill!
Friendly, clean and considerate, I'm equally happy to join in or keep my own company. I'm currently in Newtown but i'm about to start working long hours in my new job as a storyboard artist in Manly. To counteract the hours behind the desk I plan to be surfing as much as possible. It's been about 15 years since i last lived on the Northern Beaches. Looking forward to it!
I'm 23 and looking for more of a calm, relaxed living arrangement. I would describe myself as outgoing and adventurous but I also enjoy my privacy and alone time. I am a very clean and respectful person to live with. I tend to be out working or visiting friends a lot of the time at the moment but am hoping to find somewhere per friendly so I can enjoy just being at home with my cat again. She is very well trained and no burden at all.
I am looking for a furnished studio / granny flat to rent close to Brookvale. Currently living in Dee Why so anywhere along the Beaches would be ideal. I do drive so open to other areas. I am a 28 y/o male from UK working full time in marketing. Ideally I would like somewhere with a flexible length of stay.
Hi new friend! :D I have a lot of experience in shared accommodation (4 years in a backpackers and 4 years in shared houses). I m friendly and good public: even bad jokes make me laugh... My activities around the house revolve around cooking, meditation, sports, playing music (I have headphones), and reading/working. I speak french, german, and english fluently. My special contribution is my ability to fix computers. I have special interests in travelling, spirituality/philosophy, progressive music, and health. I work as a computer science researcher and would work from home part-time. Respect of privacy, limited noise pollution (headphones are a great invention :) ), and curfew are important. I look forward to meeting you :) Philippe

Looking for a double furnished room. I've budgeted $350 pw including bills. I'm very clean and respectful. I like my own company as much as I like to socialise, so I do tend to do my own thing in my own space (Netflix), but I do like to socialise amongst my house mates. I'm not looking for a party house, but somewhere quiet and calm. I won't be having regular visitors, if any. I'll mostly be spending my time at work, at the gym, exploring, or on the beach, I also may have the odd night out with friends for dinner and drinks. To note, I do have a partner that currently lives away, and he will be staying with me over Christmas 22nd-27th, and possibly for a few days near easter. I hope that wouldn't be a problem for my future house mate.
