Hi there, I am a 36 year old positive and relaxed woman who simply enjoys life! I am open-minded, optimistic and rather unconventional. I am a single mum of an 8 year old superboy! After catching up for my A-level a few years ago, I started studying Psychology. I am now a Master student of Organisational Psychology, researching in the field of Applied Positive Psychology. I like all kinds of outdoor activities, but also relax with a glass of wine and a good book/film. I love tasting all kinds of food. I am currenly searching for a room for my son and me for the first weeks when we arrive in Perth, Western Australia. I will spend one year there to finish my studies at the UWA. We'd like to live in a share house with local people the first time, to get connected and used to talk English (especially my son). I cannot confirm lease for 6 months by now, because we do not know which school my son will attend. Later, we are also interested in longstay-teamups to share a house for the full year if chemistry fits :-) Best, Ilka (with Noel)
I'm French and I'm coming to Perth to study for one semester at UWA. I'm very excited to discover Australia, so I hope my future roomates will introduce me to the Aussie lifestyle ! I'm very tidy and laid back, I am easy to live with and I love to cook (and share it of course). I love going out with my friends and discovering new places. On my free time I also like writting, and watching movies / tv shows. I'm currently studying business and I'd like to work in the tourism industry.
If you're after a roomie that can cook, clean, iron and look after themselves...look no further. Can either keep to myself or get amongst what is going on. Not a party animal. Do spend weekends studying. Enjoy getting out for fitness. Looking for a room that is unfurnished. Only looking to live with one other person. No cats.
26 year old Swedish guy that just arrived in Australia. I'm an easygoing exchange student at UWA and looking for a place to live in for at least this semester, maybe longer. I am looking for a shared house within easy reach of the UWA. I take my studies seriously but I also like to have fun so I would preferably like a house with at least some social atmosphere. I will enjoy hanging out, sharing some beers and going to the beach sometimes etc. Back in Sweden I have lived three years at a student accommodation with shared kitchen so I am used to live in a shared household, and I really enjoyed it. I am responsible and I like it clean.
Hi, I am Nick. I am 29 and I work full time in the city as an engineer. I am pretty outgoing and enjoy: rock climbing, sailing, diving, cycling, traveling, hiking, camping, cooking, etc... I am a great housemate too! Once in a while I make a mess, but on the whole, I keep everything organised, tidy and clean. I am also very good at personal hygiene – no smelly pits here! During the week, I stay pretty busy with work and whatever I can fit into the afternoons, but I am always keen for a beer and laughs.
Hello potential room mate/s :) Ive moved here from brisbane in december. So im still semi-new to perth and what there is to do! Im a very fit and active person, yet I too have my lazy days where you'll find me in my bedroom watching a movie and ordering a pizza. If you like the movie choice I'll be happy to share my pizza! I train at the gym 6 days a week and work in sales in belmont, I love animals but dont have any - So its a win-win for me if you do. I dont smoke and I rarely drink - Im a good cook and if youre too lazy to cook dinner one night, i'll be happy to make us something. My weekends are usually spent cooking meals for my next week, catching up with friends and exploring what this great city has to offer. Over the last 8 years of renting I have lived with mainly females too, so maybe that shows I'm a very clean and tidy person? Or maybe I just like to make sure that everyone on a specific day gets in and cleans the whole place and then we can enjoy a nice meal out somewhere I do drive, so parking would be a preference but not a necessity as perth has lots of street parking. As well as a furnished room due to only moving here with my suitcases - However I have started looking at bedroom furniture (it would be about time to get my own things over here) I think I have covered everything about me, only thing to do is meet me in person and see for yourself if you like me - Im also looking for anywhere between 6-12 months, maybe less but as i've moved here from brisbane in December i'm trying to find a place where I can start to build myself and not have to move around
hi guys I am hugo 28 years old from venezuela, I have been living in perth for 2 and a half years already, currently studying fitness at the Australian institute of sports and fitness in Subiaco and working in west perth so I would like to live in this area, I am a really easy going person, respectful and someone you can trust. I look forward hearing from you soon, cheers.
I'm an easy going person who is very reliable. I'm a lab tech and I work in Bibra Lake. I have to drive to work, as the public transport in the area is next to non existent, so a parking spot will be required. I'm an avid film fan and very interested in music and going to gigs and festivals. I'm also a drummer and percussionist, but don't worry I won't be blazing on the drums at home. If you play an instrument though I'm happy to have a tap on the bongos with you. Regards Dave
I'm a super friendly, easygoing, neat and tidy full-time medical student/part-time barista looking for a place to stay long-term (until I graduate). Most days, I'll be hidden away studying quietly, at work, at uni, or at my boyfriend's place - a.k.a. you'll have the place to yourself and will hardly notice I'm there! Having said that, I always make time for housework, and I definitely enjoy a break from work for socialising when I can (10/10 keen for someone to have wine/laughs/banter with). Die hard dog lover, fabulous sense of humour, track record of paying rent and bills on time every time, open-minded and super easy to live with. :-)
Hi, I'm a 31 year old professional working in Subiaco looking for a place to rent for 6 - 18 months. I'm an easy going, tidy non-smoker and don't have pets but like living with them. Am often out most evenings but like to cook, have a glass of wine, swim and travel in my spare time. Looking to find and fit into a peaceful, relaxed house.

I'm a very relaxed Australian guy originally from Geraldton, who likes spending my time with friends. I work in a university and usually get home around 5pm most days. I don't smoke and like my place to be a welcoming place for guests and also for me and those I live with. In other words, a clean and tidy place with character and a homely feel. I lived in Japan for 7 years so I've lived with a lot of different people in share houses over the years I was there.
Hi I am a 25 year old woman from Denmark. I am studying for a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Psychology at Copenhagen Business School, but I am now beginning a semester at UWA. Therefore, I am looking for a room in Perth from now until the end of November. I have always preferred to live together with other people, but I also like to take time for myself sometimes. I have lived in Copenhagen for some years, but before that I lived in England and Norway for a while. I am very tidy and a non-smoker. As a person, I am very social and I like to spend time with friends and family as well as meeting new people and exploring new countries and cultures. I spend a lot of time doing sports – in Denmark mostly badminton and running. Here in Australia I am looking forward to trying out some of the many outdoor sports. I have just arrived in Perth, so I would like to come by and see the room as soon as possible. Best regards Line Thøgersen
I am a PhD student in the UK and will be spending just over two months (late Sep - early Dec) in Perth to do visiting research at UWA. I am originally from Germany though I have lived in several places - I've lost the accent but, don't worry, kept the famous (and wonderfully endearing) German sense of humour. I am outgoing and like socialising, chatting (from the mundane to the #deepandmeaningful), and a good drink here and there, whether out or in. I respect other peoples' privacy (and property) and enjoy the occasional time to myself. Ideally, I would love to live with people I can hang out with in my time in Perth, as well as live with.
I work full time throughout the week/weekend. I'm social, enjoy a cheeky drink and also time to kick back and relax. I play footy occasionally when I'm not working, go to the gym, seeing mates often and I'm looking for a place that's got a good social vibe as well as respect for privacy. Looking for a place as I'm not renewing my lease in the current home.
I am a 26yo research assistant working full-time at UWA and I am currently looking for a room for the next 12 months because my current housemate is selling the apartment that I currently live in. I am a clean, respectful and easy-going person and I enjoy many outdoor activities including kayaking/diving/windsurfing/attempted-surfing.
I'm a bit of a mix of outgoing/outdoor loving guy and proud nerd. I'm moving closer to work to do away with my car and commute more under my own steam. Otherwise, I sing in the WA Opera and in a bunch of concerts around Perth meaning I'm out a lot of evenings till ~9:30pm in production seasons. I sail most weekends and cook rather healthily. I'm happy to share in meals and hang out otherwise for a drink or two. With some downtime at home, I'll often work on some sort of home automation project or will just generally be making something.
Hi all I’m Alex and I’m an easy-going, friendly, chilled 31 year old human. I’m a former high school teacher, now working full-time in Subi in a job that pays the bills without the stress… I’m looking to move into a new place in late September / early October. I’m happy to move into an existing place or team-up with someone for a new lease. Min 6 months - longer term. My budget is around $200-250ish a week. I can furnish my own room. I have kitchen gear, plus I can bring a fridge, 2 x sweet couches, and TV cabinet if need be. I'd be wanting to have my own bathroom and to live with one or two other peeps max. I’m looking for a place that’s either close to the beach or within 20 mins drive. I especially like city beach and scarbs, so any suburbs in that general area are a win. As I work in Subi I’d be keen to stay within about 20-30 mins drive of there as well. So any of those inner-city suburbs will work. A place with a backyard would be ideal as I’d love to grow some food (or even just herbs would be a plus). When I’m not working I like to practice yoga, walk/jog in nature (parks, lakes, ovals etc), swim at the beach (in summer…), hang out with my mates on the weekends: going to live music gigs, kicking the footy around, couple of drinks, that kind of thing. I am a clean and social housemate: I’m into cooking (and cleaning after), chilling, watching movies (I don’t really watch any TV… besides GOT). I like the occasional drink but don’t party like the old days very often. And I do take time to myself to read, write, stretch and meditate as well. Please get in touch if you reckon we are a fit. I’m more than happy to meet up and chat.
Fun, energetic young professional looking for someone who doesn't mind music being played on the weekends! I need a car space as I work for Holden and often get new cars to take home. Love pets but not in my room due to music equipment. New to Perth, just moved here from Brisbane. Like binge watching TV Shows, going out on a Saturday night for drinks - love my Drum & Bass music. I work 6 days a week so need my sleep during the week. Vegetarian but don't mind living with a meat eater :)
I work in hospitality, and am a neat, friendly and social person. I have lived in a share house before, so I understand the balance of socialising and having private space in this situation. I was also good at paying bills and rent on time, so no worries there! I have lived my entire life in Western Australia, and like to sing, read, eat out, go to quiz nights and socialise.
I am a very friendly and laid back person who is easy to get along with. Tidy and trustworthy, I am looking for a place to live in order to move out of home and have a fresh start Currently working casual/FTE in a cafe in Subiaco and am looking for a place that is relatively close to work. I enjoy reading, tv as well as good food, drinks and company. I love staying in as much as I love exploring and going on adventures.
Hello! I am from California and have my PR for Australia. I work full time, enjoy socializing but know how to respect my flatmates and the shared spaces! I am flexible with my moving dates as I want to find a place that I like, feel safe in and hope to stay for a while.
