Hi there! My name is Gustavo, I am 24 and I come from Brazil to Sydney to do a PhD of 3 years at Macquarie University. I left home 7 years ago and since then I have lived sharing houses or in studios, so I am quite used to it. In 2014 I spent one year living in the UK. I am looking for a studio or an ensuite room in a shared house to stay for 6 months at most 2km from Macquarie University. I look for privacy and freedom in my space. I give preference for somewhere that charges bills separately from the rent and has a great internet connection. I consider myself neat, organized and honest overall. My hobbies are cooking, doing physical activities and talking to people. Please let me know if you have a place that matches these criteria or knows of somewhere that does. Thank you!
Hello there, My name is Hamaka and I am looking for a place to stay in Sydney CBD and or surrounding suburbs. About me: ⬛ Maori/Croatian/Irish. ⬛ Career driven. ⬛ Single. ⬛ Gay. ▪ Cyclist ▪ skater ▪ long distance runner. ▪ Muso ▪ bibliophile ▪ Adventurer. ▪ Prone to losing my train of thought and answering questions in essay form, subconsciously. ⬛ Barista/bartender/sales person/creative ◼ I drink on very rare occasions so will likely be writing, hiking, cycling or skate boarding. I am currently living in Liverpool, Western Sydney, and am staying with friends - I would like to secure a place to stay, which is closer to work. I manage a non-for-profit café for a company which manufactures games; Aristocrat technologies. I commute to work each day, which happens to be a 2 hour trip each way. I would like to cut that commute down significantly by moving closer to where I work, haha. I arrived in Sydney 3 weeks ago so am still finding my bearings, geographically. I am from a small village in New Zealand located in the Waikato region, specifically, the Coromandel Peninsula; located on the North of the North Island of NZ. I would like to move into a place immediately for then I can comfortably settle into Sydney and start exploring. I treat people the way I would like to be treated, with kindness and respect. I am considerate and empathetic in relation to living in shared accommodation. I come from a family of 11 so cleaning up after myself is a given, and I would prefer the same. I am aiming to get another job working on the weekend, either permanent or casual freelancing work. So, I will likely never be home. I enjoy getting out and being active, for I am perpetually bored, haha! I enjoy keeping fit and living a healthy lifestyle. I hope that gives you a general idea of who I am. #chill Thank you so very much for taking the time to read my novel (profile). I have uploaded my social media platforms to give you further insight into my life/mind; who I am. Thank you again for taking the time. Kindest regards, Hamaka Murray
Hello, I am an Electrical engineer and I am doing my Masters in Electronics at Macquarie University. I am a fun loving person and friendly in nature. Also, I keep my stuff clean and can be adaptable to a new environment. Right now im in a search for a private room.
I have just returned to Australia after several months travelling Asia and Europe, and I have just moved to Sydney from Adelaide to study arboriculture. I am looking for a fun and friendly sharehouse around Eastwood. I am polite, tidy, and sociable. I love nature, gardening, cooking, hiking, hanging out and watching some films or listening to vinyls. I am respectful of space and privacy but I am also usually up for a chat and a casual beer or glass of wine. I look forward to meeting some like minded folk and exploring what Sydney can offer.
I'm a Malaysian who studies in MQ for year two degree this year. I'm currently in Malaysia for holiday, I will be back to Sydney at the end of February. I'm hoping that I'm able to find a nice and friendly place to stay nearby. It will be best if it's fully furnished with bills included in rent. I like to watch Korean drama which is why wifi is a must for me hahah and I like to go for a jog sometimes. Also, don't mind me to have one or two friends over sometimes (no party, just chills) as sometimes I will head to their places for stay over too. I like to keep my things clean and tidy. Which is why I would prefer having own bathroom but I'm okay to share with another person. I'm a quite lazy person when it comes to cooking, so I always make something easy like pasta, congee or maybe bake once in awhile only. And I super adore dogs! :)
Currently working in hospitality in the city so i have a varied schedule so im out of the house quite abit, and when im home though, im clean and respect the spaces in the house and easy to get along with anyone. Im planning on adopting a dog in the new place so the location has to be pet friendly.
Hello there, I'm Tina, 33 and currently looking for room in a friendly and comfortable environment. I am easy going, mostly keep to my own, clean, quiet and responsible. I am not much of a party animal but I do enjoy hanging out with friends when I get the chance. I usually work in retail but I have taken 2 months off to re energize myself after a year of total burn out. (UPDATE: I NOW HAVE A P/T JOB) I am now actively looking for a new job (though I assure you I have enough savings to pay rent) and will be studying at Macquarie Uni as of February, so I need a new place that will be more centralized. I am a bit of a geek, I enjoy gaming on my PS4 and am quiet the movie buff. I also enjoy creating special effects makeup, reading and learning new skills. I am of Greek background so I could probably cook up a delicious Greek dish if you wish, too! I am looking for a private room, as long as there is a desk, a bed and a wardrobe I'll be happy. No preference in a specific gender household, as long as you are cool with having a laugh once in a while. I prefer a place close to transport also as I do not drive. If I sound like someone you'd like to have around, then message me! :) T.
I'm a mature quiet and tidy professional who travels for business, and relocated from Perth to Sydney due to work commitments 6 months ago. Except for dinner parties, I'm not into house parties. I'm looking for share accommodation for initially 4 months and longer if the place is suitable, with 1 or 2 mature professional people of either gender. I don't mind living with pets but prefer cats.. prefer room furnished maximum of $450 including any outgoings. I would like something in any of the surrounding areas of North Rocks, North Mead, Parramatta, North Parramatta Carlingford, Epping, Rhodes, West Ryde, Sydney Olympic Park. I'm quiet, tidy, easy going, non smoker, non TV addict, who enjoys good conversation, respectful of others, and will pull my weight with household chores, including sharing the cost of groceries and cooking. In addition to other activities, I enjoy going to the markets, eating out on weekends and the movies.
Moving from WA to Sydney to start my career. Just graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Economics and Finance. I will be working full time so will not be around much during the weekday but would love to live with someone I'd get along with and have fun on the weekends with. I am clean and tidy and love to cook. I'm looking to make some friends and love going out on the weekends or enjoy a quiet night in as I'm an easy going person.
Quiet, unassuming and easy going professional. Employed Full-Time, 9-5 in Sydney City. I like a home that's stress-free with open communication. My Dog will visit sometimes to say hello. She is a 4 y/o rough collie and it is impossible not to love her, so you will.
I'm easy going, neat and tidy and don't mind helping out around the house with chores and repairs. I'm a full time student studying engineering whilst working 4 days a week so I barely spend anytime at home. I like to hang out and have a chat but respect personal space and privacy. I'm an active person who likes to be on the go and outdoors whenever possible. I find I can get along with a wide range of people and am quick to adapt to a new environment.
Independent, self sufficient and clean. I don’t like to get in any bodies way, I’m a very understanding person and get that everyone needs their space. I’m a busy full time worker and student of a weekend and am very driven towards succeeding. I hold a very professional state of mind, but can have a laugh. I’m looking to move closer to work, as my commute is extremely long everyday working in Chatswood current living out west. I’m looking for an easy, clean accomodation with possibility of car covered parking, also abit of room in the room to store some stuff also. Especially my bicycle as I love riding!
I am a French student and I am currently in the first year of a Master of Biology in Paris. I’ll come to Sydney from mid-February to mid-July for a research internship. I’ll work with a team of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Macquarie University. I am looking for an inexpensive place to live near the University (because I won’t have a car). I would enjoy to live with flatmates as it will be the opportunity to meet people (from Australia or not). I’ll be at home the evening, for the meal, and the weekend. I also wish to discover Sydney during this free time.
Hi potential housemates! I will be moving to Sydney in February. I'm a medical professional so I work a lot, but I'd love to get involved in the social side of the house as much as I can :) if there's not that much of a social aspect to the house that's ok too - I do already have some friends in Sydney. I'm VERY clean and tidy, but not so bothered by other people's mess (within reason of course). I come with an adorable young toy poodle puppy called Luna - but please don't discount us as housemates because of the dog thing! She's tiny, doesn't shed hair, hypoallergenic, extremely well-trained (housetrained and obedience), quiet, used to apartment living and gets on well with other animals (not to mention she will bring you so much joy!) I also love cooking and am happy to participate in any shared meals or just share my leftovers with you. If you have any questions at all, please contact me - I'd love to hear from you. Cheers!
Hey my name's David - Aussie/Korean working professional looking for a private single room - car spot would be excellent. I'm a laid back, friendly guy who enjoys the company of people but is also respectful & considerate of their personal space. I like to stay healthy, go to the gym, clean & always down for a chat or a drink when there' s the chance.
I'm a uni student in TAFE Meadowbank studying IT and my partner is baker/barista. We are easy going and down to earth, we like to keep things tidy and noise to a minimum. Can be social if this is alright with flatmates. We both will be working part-time. On our spare time we like to be active with various sports.
I´m María Guadalupe. I´m argentinian PhD student and I´m going to Sydney between April 1st. and May 30th. for visit the Macquarie University, where I´ll work one month and a half. For that reason I need a room near the university. I´m very clean, quiet, organizate and sociable.
24 yo male working full time, have lived with people before, looking for a couple people to team up with and start a new share house, or a room in an established house with some nice housemates. Can cook - but only with frozen food and a microwave. Also have a decent amount of kitchen stuff that capable cooks might actually use. Capable of basic home maintenance and repair. I keep my mess to myself and common areas tidy. Generally happy to keep in my own company but comfortable being social with people too.
Hello, So I am a student at Macquarie University currently coming back to Sydney from a SE Asia and Europe trip. I am kind and smiley as well as non-smoker and quite clean. I like to study and work, always keeping busy but like interacting with flat mates as well. I am pretty easygoing and yeah, that is about it. Looking forward to hearing from you, Tenika
I work full-time in North Sydney and am looking for something close (within 1hr train travel) yet affordable. I am a quiet person who does like to socialise ever so often. I am an animal lover but have no pets with me. I am a clean, responsible person with a professional attitude. My interests are shopping, makeup and laying back watching a good action movie. Im looking for a PRIVATE ROOM that i can relax and have my own space in. I would also like to let friends visit/stay ever so often.
I am a neat and tidy person, who will be working full time next year in Macquarie Park. I am an recently graduated engineer from Brisbane. I love to binge watch tv shows and am trying to get fitter by going to the gym....
We are a married couple relocating from Perth to Sydney as my wife is now working for Siemens as an electrical engineer at Macquarie Park. Myself i work FIFO and own 2 businesses in Perth, however i'm looking at study options while in Sydney. I will be in Perth, and will move to Sydney at a later date after sorting out a few things in Perth.
My name is Darcy, i am a young man undertaking an apprenticeship in light vehicle mechanics. I am a fairly tidy person who always cleans up after myself. I am a smoker trying to quit, i only smoke outside away from doors and windows. I moved up here so my girlfriend could be with her parents as we are having a child together. I need to find my own place to stay as the house they are in doesn’t have enough room for me. I work six days a week monday to saturday and have sundays off. I really look forward to finding somewhere to stay so i can get on my feet and start a life here in sydney. -Darcy
Hi, I'm Rachelle. I am looking for a FULLY FURNISHED self-contained studio unit, a granny flat or a PRIVATE room with ensuite for 9 months to 1 year approx. Anywhere near the city (30mins away or less) or near a train station works for me. I am a friendly and quiet Filipina who loves the beach and loves to travel a lot. I am currently a masters student at Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School - Sydney Campus and a part-time receptionist at a hotel in Chippendale. My work and studies usually keep me busy throughout the week and mostly keep me in my room (assessments are such a pain, I know). However, I would like to bond with other people every now and then especially if they share the same passion that I have. One thing that I value most in living with others is respect. I will respect your space and I hope that you do respect mine as well. I am totally fine living with pets (esp. dogs but cats are okay too), but not really comfotable living with kids/toddlers/children. Let me know if we are the right fit :)
