Hi I'm Wayne! I work in the city in the corporate sector I am a clean, laid back and considerate Flatmate who will be busy working full time. Hi ! We are very friendly couple ! I am Viviane, student in Macquarie University, and my partener Martin will be in Working Holiday Visa but will not be a backpacker. We are looking for a good place to live during my master degree. We are funny but very respectuful of the privacy of other. We like the shared areas are clean. And for the party ? We prefere go to the bar to take a beer with friends. We are NO smoker. So we are looking for a place not so fare to Macquarie (more closer possible) and with easy access to central. 30min to Macquarie University (by train or walking, can be by bus if it is 20min max) Our budget is $400/week all bills included (Water, gas, electricity and internet) and we cannot put more. Please be free to begin a chat with us to know a little bit more about.
I'm great to live with because I am friendly, easy-going, relatively tidy and not a party animal (non-drinker). I'm an engineer working on a construction site, so I am not at home from around 7AM-6PM each week day. I enjoy hanging out and having a chat, but as an introvert, I also need my space some times (and will respect yours). Having moved to Sydney recently (from Brisneyland), I would like housemates with whom I could see myself becoming good friends. In terms of what I do for fun, I like movies, video games, nature walks, reading, travelling, learning languages. I would love some housemates that enjoy similar things and are looking to live more sustainably. Currently based in Newtown, I am enjoying the inner-west lifestyle, but also wishing it were quieter and had more trees. That said, I am also looking for cheaper rent and probably a place along a train line to the CBD (too optimistic?). So currently I am thinking inner-west for lifestyle, further west or north for decent rent, or towards the shire for the serenity. As for the room set-up, I am fairly flexible.
Myself Tully, and one of our best mates are all looking for a place to rent as we are all starting our studies at Macquarie Uni in February. We all came from the same high school , located in the Northern Rivers area and we are all excited to start our new path in Sydney. All of us are quiet and amicable individuals with a lot of personality. We all get on well with others and love meeting new people. Thank you!
I am a master's student studying at Macquarie University. I come from Indonesia. I am quiet, clean and tidy. I'm a non-smoker and don't hold parties. Looking for a single-bedroom unit or a 2-bedroom shared unit/house with 1 flatmate. Budget is $250 max, including all bills and heating. Preferably also a post-graduate student or professional.
My name is Stevie and I’m a musician! I need a place where I can sometimes practice my music - won’t be loud but people who don’t mind me practicing in my room sometimes. I’m looking to find somewhere with walking distance from train station around Epping Eastwood area. I am very independent, friendly, tidy and I keep to myself. I do love socialising and I am a vegetarian, I have no problems or judgement towards people who eat meat, I’m super chill and easy going.
Hi. I am Shivani. Moving to Sydney from New Delhi, India to pursue my master's from Macquarie University starting February'19. Looking for accommodation nearby the university, from where public transport is easily accessible.
Hi! I am a Filipino and an incoming student at Macquarie University (Masters in Public Health). I am looking for flatmates/ room for rent preferably walking distance to the train station. I am a very friendly person who enjoys conversations but also respects private time. I am very tidy especially in the kitchen. I dont smoke and usually workout after uni or work. I love dogs so it won't be an issue if you own one. On free days i enjoy staying in watching netflix/movies or go around sydney. Im not much into partying.
Hi all Myself (Ian) and my lovely partner (Yin), are a very friendly socialable, clean and responsible couple. We have done Air BnB before meeting lots of people from Australia and across world staying at our own apartment, and always had fun meeting new people. At present I am working from home helping a few new start-up businesses (including my own), and Yin works in child care full-time, plus rental income from our own unit makes us again very even further reliable share tenants. We are also 'pet people' though and have our own cat, small Maltese dog (both of which live mainly inside), and also offer Pet Minding services while I am working from home on these start-up businesses. Thus if you like animals and having a very friendly couple around, please let us know and we are more then happy to visit for a chat soon asap :) Cheers, Ian and Yin
Hi, I'm Pat and I work full-time 11am - 8pm for a tuition company. I have completed an undergrad and an honours course at UNSW, in theatre and criminology. I come with a 2 Yr old Labrador. He is fully house trained, very friendly and doesn't bark. I enjoy reading a good book, watching a movie, playing video games and having a good chat. I'm a very clean person and I always make sure my dog is well behaved. I'm quite flexible with most things and as I work full-time you probably wouldn't see me very much. I have a partner at the moment, who will not be moving with me, but he would like to visit me and stay over on the odd occasion when I do move - willing to pay extra to accommodate for this :)
I am from Brasil. going to Australia on January 23 to study. I am clean, friendly and respect flatmates indiviaduality. I can help with the house cleaning. Looking for a good place to stay in Sydney, want to make friends and study as well.
I've been studying Building and Construction at Tafe and I've been working as joiner during the day and as bar staff at night 6 days on week. I have no problem to help with the cleaning and to keep the house tidy. I like to socialize but I respect the individuality of my housemates
Hey there! I'm a student at Sydney Uni and almost a high school teacher (only a year of uni to go!). I've had two short stints living out of home while studying overseas and have finally decided to bite the bullet and leave the nest here in Sydney. I am looking to live somewhere along the T1 train line - everywhere I need to go is along this line :) I'll be honest, I'm generally pretty quiet and am not really a party person. I do drink but not at all excessively (boring, right?). My ideal Saturday night is spent curled up at home watching Netflix. I absolutely adore cooking and I'm also a huge nerd for anything language or literature-related (books, movies, poetry, learning languages... I'm down). On the weekends (when I'm not working or studying), I love going to art galleries and museums, pottering around the shops or if the weather permits, going to the beach. As I'm studying full-time and also working four different part-time jobs, I'm not home much during the week so I'll have no problem staying out of your hair. Especially so whenever I'm on a teaching prac :)
I am a very clean person. I like my bedroom clean and organised. I am always working at the office or studying in my room. I am happy for a chat but would respect individual spaces a lot.
Hi there, My name is Thu (It pronounces kinda like ‘two’). I’m from Vietnam and I’ve been living in Japan for more than 4 years. I’m moving to Sydney from next February (on the 14th to be exact) and I’m in this great search for a lovely home where I can happily go back to after a hectic day at school (Oh and yes, I’m going to do my Master in Macquarie University). About myself, I’m an out-going introvert, meaning that I love talking to people and am always willing to cook and share my food with you. But at the same time, if needed, I can be the quiet type as well. I’ve been traveling to quite some places using Couchsurfing (other people let me stay at their house) so I what it needs to be a good housemate. I’ll always help to keep the place clean and tidy. Ideally, if you have a private room with the price no more than 250$pw (bills inc), please let me know. I’d be happy to discuss more about the details.
