EDIT: looking for female(s) for teamup only! I have been renting a townhouse by myself for about a year now and my lease is about to end. As much as I have loved living by myself, I would love to find a compatable roommate to start the next chapter of my life! I'm a full-time psychology/law student at MQU (with one more semester left) and I work part-time in Epping. So I would ideally love to stay within the area. I love playing piano, listening to music, painting, nature, cooking (vegan food), and I am very much free-spirited. Hoping to find a like-minded person (or people) to start a new house with! I already have all the furniture and appliances needed, but happy to sell or re-home to suit the new situation! I also have a beautiful black rescue cat named Jasper who acts like a dog (everyone loves him and he loves everyone) If this sounds at all like you, please send me a message and we can meet over coffee or something to discuss!
** not looking anymore sorry Looking to move in anytime after December 27, though open to moving earlier if we found the right place. Just need to find somewhere before uni starts again for 2019 I’d like an ensuite, though slighlty flexible if there's an awesome place with no ensuite room. Would prefer to stay somewhere very close to uni or a quick bike ride away. BTW I went to boarding school and have lived in student share accommodation since, so I am very experienced in sharing living spaces. I’m a full time student at Macquarie Uni and work part-time in the city. I grew up on a farm in Nyngan if that is of any interest. I know the uni like the back of my hand. I’m very involved in the Macquarie uni community (am an exec on a society too). I was a member of the SRC, 2015-2017. I’m very social, and inclusive. I keep my mess to myself and like to keep common areas clean and always wash up after myself straight away. Would be cool to have house movie nights and study nights every now and then. I often just keep to myself but also love socialising. Would prefer somewhat social housemates but am also more than okay with someone that wants to keep to themselves more. And in saying that, as much as I love having friends over, I rarely do. I mostly just go to social events at uni, including debates and talks put on by various societies. I love the beach and swimming. I like to be active, love going for a run, love playing soccer and recently got back into netball. Although, it’s hard to be motivated to do all that as much as I should, so work out buddies welcome! 😜 I’ve got my eye on some great 2+ bedroom places near uni with nice entertaining areas, so please message me if you think we’re after similar things :)
Hi , I am Varun; bunny, electrical engineer, guitarist, vocalist, fitness enthusiast, traveller; working in a corporation. I am cleanliness friendly and quite social.
I am currently doing PhD in Macquarie University on Environmental Sciences. Normally I spend my weekdays in labs and office, and prefer to catch up with friends in weekends. I would like to live in an organized, tidy and cozy place that makes me feel like at home.
** STRICTLY NO COLD CALLS TO MY MOBILE / PLEASE TEXT ME FIRST, THANK YOU ** Hello Everyone, My name is Drew, I'm a mature-age full-time Carer looking after the disabled. I'm urgently seeking shared accomodation in the Sydney CBD area. Especially a place with working air-conditioning. My Carer duties ensure that I'll be away during most evenings, only returning home later in the morning. I am a tidy person and have no objections to cleaning rosters. As I am also studying, I need a quiet home to return to, close to Public Transport. Definitely NO party houses! I can keep myself busy when at home but I do love to be sociable and get to know the people I share space with. I have no objections to setting up direct debit payments to guarantee regular rental payments. I also have character references upon request. Anyone interested may contact me if you have a place to offer. Thanking You.
Easy going couple plus sister...we are party of 3 waiting for the table you could say. Neat, very quiet, very social people. Love to cook when we have a chance. I am 47m Aussie, partner is 43f Chinese and her sister is 44f Chinese.
Hello, Move dates are rough. I'm super easy going and love people and getting to know them. I'm social and like going out with friends and family for dinner and drinks, as much as a I can. But still like time to myself. I am employed and responsible. I respect other people's privacy and space. I may be a little shy to begin with but once I'm comfortable I'm chatty and extroverted. Clean and tidy, and love an organised space. I’m relatively active. Go to the gym around 3 times a week. I have a 1.5 year old cavoodle puppy called Poppy. 40% play 60% chill. just don't leave your socks out or your knitting and you're good. Im currently working as a full time florist. (ie. Free flowers on the table.) I have studied Interior Design and Floristry. I have just arrived home overseas travel and need a new place. Super keen to meet some new, interesting people and be closer to work and friends. Let me know if you're interested and we can meet and chat over coffee. :) Regards, Amelia (normal, non crazy potential flatmate)
Hello! Our names are Ellen and Elise and we're two nineteen year old girls from a small town in the South of Sweden. We graduated this year from high school and have decided to spend our gap year together in Sydney. We'll be in Sydney for approximately six months and are looking for accomadation not to far out of the city. We will both be working part time and during our spare time we enjoy spending time at the beach, cooking and exploring the city. We also enjoy eating out, out door activities and hanging out with new and interesting people.
PLEASE NOTE: WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING FROM THE 22ND OF JANUARY 2019. DO NOT CONTACT US IF THE DATE YOU'RE AVAILABLE FROM IT IS ANYTIME SOONER. thanks Hello everyone, we're a couple of students (from TAFE and Western Sydney uni) and part-time workers who are looking to share a double room/double bathroom apartment with another couple (we don't mind if it's just another person, as long as you're happy to split half of the price). We're quiet, easygoing and very focused on our studies; whilst we're not party people, we're happy for you to host your friends every now and then and we encourage open communication inside the house: we believe that every problem has a solution as long as it's faced in a timely manner :) We're extremely clean and respectful of the common areas, and if your into Italian cuisine, we're happy to share some meals! (we're very open to try every cuisine, but italian dishes are our specialty) We'll be back from our overseas holiday on the 22nd of January, but the start date can be flexible. Let us know if you have any ideas!!
Hi, my name is Lucy, I'm 20 and am currently studying at MacQuarie University. I have recently arrived from the UK and am staying in temporary accommodation but would like to live somewhere a bit comfier and more like a home! I currently work 9-5 weekdays (as I am a research placement student) and will be in Sydney until mid June 2019. I am enjoying getting to know Sydney and love to socialise, whether its a relaxed night in, chill drink at the pub or a big night out! I love baking and can always settle for a good book
Female in early 20s looking for a share house/flatmate living arrangement. I have lived in a flatmate situation for the past year with fellow students where I was the principal tenant, so I have experience with renting, paying bills and taking care of own space. I am currently studying to be a High School Teacher at Macquarie Uni and working part time in the Epping area. In my spare time I enjoy playing netball and participating in extra curricular activities at uni. I can sometimes make a bit of noise as I play an instrument, but always aim to be as quiet as possible at night and when others are sleeping or working. I love animals so more than happy to live with some too!
Postgraduate Medical student at MQ, always down to chill out/ have a casual drink, will spend most of my time at the library but also definitely enjoy exercise/chilling out! Looking for a sharehouse with young working professionals who are easy to get along with :)
Hey! My name’s Edia, and I’m 21 and looking for one or two other girls to start a new lease in a flat with one bedroom and hopefully a bathroom each. I’ve been living out of home for the past 6 months with my brother, but am wanting to branch out a bit and try a different living situation, hopefully for a longer term. A bit about me - I’m a Sydney Uni student doing Marketing and History, and I work part-time in early education in Parramatta. Honestly I’m not the biggest partier - I love a big night out once in a while, but my favourite thing to do on a Friday night is stay in bed watching netflix :) Most days I’ll be either at work, uni, out for a run/gym or home. I’m friendly but tend to keep to myself, although I’d definitely be super open to movie nights, dinner or workout buddies! If you think this would be a great team up, shoot me a message :)
Hi! My names Nokwanda, I'm looking to move Asap as I commenced fulltime work in north ryde, hence why I'm looking for something more closer. I'm an easy going person to live with, clean at all times. Hey guys, we are 3 Canadian postgrad students looking for 1-2 other roommates to team-up with for the new year. Will be looking for a 4-5 bedroom house around the macquarie uni area. Very friendly, clean, housemates that spend lots of time studying, enjoying outdoor activities but are always up for a drink or two on the weekend. If you're keen feel free to message, won't start seriously looking into places until december.
Hey there! I'm a student at Sydney Uni and almost a high school teacher (only a year of uni to go!). I've had two short stints living out of home while studying overseas and have finally decided to bite the bullet and leave the nest here in Sydney. I am looking to live somewhere along the T1 train line - everywhere I need to go is along this line :) I'll be honest, I'm generally pretty quiet and am not really a party person. I do drink but not at all excessively (boring, right?). My ideal Saturday night is spent curled up at home watching Netflix. I absolutely adore cooking and I'm also a huge nerd for anything language or literature-related (books, movies, poetry, learning languages... I'm down). On the weekends (when I'm not working or studying), I love going to art galleries and museums, pottering around the shops or if the weather permits, going to the beach. As I'm studying full-time and also working four different part-time jobs, I'm not home much during the week so I'll have no problem staying out of your hair. Especially so whenever I'm on a teaching prac :)
Mature, sensible and easy going. I'm a little nerdy but love working out. I work as a lab scientist for a Pathology and have lived in Australia most of my life. I like going to the gym and watching TV.
Easy going professional. Clean, tidy, honest and reliable. Only need a place to stay two days out of every 8 days while I work in Sydney. I go home to Hunter Valley in between.
