Hello! My name is Charlotte and I'm 19 years old. I was born in Canberra and my mum & her family are all Australia, but I've lived in England pretty much my whole life (dual citizenship). Over the past year or so I have been working full time in England and saving up. I decided to move back to Australia, specifically Sydney, on my own because I love this country so much! I have a lot of family dotted around NSW, Victoria and Canberra, whom I've been staying with a lot so far. I recently got a full time job in hospo in Newtown so I would really love to live in or around this beautiful area! I am very excited to meet new people and have my own space as I've also been staying in hostels a lot (sharing a room with 8+ people!!). I drink a lot of tea and coffee (bit of a fanatic as I used to work in the English equivalent of T2), and I'm hoping to eventually apply for a degree in Graphic Design at a university in Sydney. I really love travelling and meeting new people from all over the world (my parents met in a hostel when they were travelling at 21 so I feel like they've passed this down to me!)
Hey Folks, I just moved here from the homeland Ireland (Originally from New York City). Recent Finance graduate from studying around Europe. Mad into traveling and exploring new places. Pretty easygoing person, up for a laugh and meeting new people. Game for an adventure on the weekends or something more chill too. I'm clean, respectful and always happy to have a chat. Looking for a private room in a Shared House/Apartment.
Hi ! I'm Manon, I'm an exchange student at USYD. I'm respectful, friendly and chill. I lived 3 years in a boarding school and I have been living in a share house for the past 3 months so I know what it is to live in a community. I'm not what we can call a big partygoer but I like to hang out, have a drink or a chat over a meal or a glass of wine/pint of beer etc. I'm in love with film photography, volleyball and good music.
I'm rarely at home! I'm a busy bee who is always out and about (I work full time and study part time). However, I'm usually keen for a drink! I've been living alone for the last 6 months so I have plenty of household supplies. I'm currently living in outer Western Sydney and am super keen to move back in to Sydney proper!
Hi there, I am a 38 year old marketing professional that works fairly regular hours in the outer Western suburbs. Neat and clean, and fairly quiet, I have been in multiple share households. This ensures I am considerate of others and respect space and quiet times. I enjoy fitness, going out with friends, trying new cafes and coffee shops and catching up with my flatmates for the occasional dinner and drinks. Most of my socialising is done outside the home. I bring with me a house trained dog. She is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, deaf but very friendly. She is nine years of age and rarely barks. Her disposition is more like a cat - she loves nothing better than a tummy rub and a snooze in the sun!
Recently came back from a 4 month holiday in Europe where I was working, travelling and visiting family. I've deferred uni for the second semester and am looking at working part or full time over summer until March 2019 before I take up uni again. I'm easy-going, down to earth and a humble person.
Hi there! I am a postgrad student who has just snagged herself a lovely fulltime job at a bookstore in the inner-west, so I am looking to move somewhere nearby! I am quite a sociable person who loves a good chat and a netflix binge in the living room, but also enjoy spending time to myself (also netflix binging, let's be real.) I am an adaptable person who I like to think can slot into any environment, and thrive on getting to know new people. I am looking for a temporary furnished room, until between mid January - early February, as I am waiting for a friend to move to Sydney and for us to then find a flat together. So if you need a temporary sublet or something of the like, I'm your girl!
Hey, nice to meet you. So we are Lisa and Dominik, two travellers from Germany. We finished our school this June and decided to take a gap year to travel the world, meet new people, work at different places and just take some time of school before starting our studies. Since now we've been to Singapore, Indonesia and went down the east coast from Brisbane to Sydney. We want to connect to new people and are therefore open for shared accommodations with many flatmates. We love having a good cup of coffee, cooking together or diving deep into conversations. Lisa is interested in dancing and my favourite sport is basketball, but we are open for any fun stuff to do. We decided to stay in Sydney now for some time and work here before exploring Australia or New Zealand further. We are quite simple to live with and although we might work most of the time we are happy to socialise in the evening or on the weekends. Really looking forward to getting to know you. Lisa & Dominik.
I'm Ashish, 23 from India, studying Master of Information Technology and working part-time as an ITC Support Engineer. I'm clean, easy going, laid back and easy to live with. I like to stay fit and healthy. Ideally would be good to live with people who like to have a bit of a laugh and not take themselves too seriously.
Hey hey, I’m on the hunt for a new home! I'm looking for a fun, social sharehouse somewhere in the Newtown/Marrickville area with people around my age (I’m 25). I'd like a place where everyone is mates and hangs out, but I can also respect other peoples space! I'm friendly, easy-going and social. I’m always up for hangs and chats, a trip to the pub/a game of pool or adventures around the city. Im currently living in Stanmore but my lease runs out soon. I'm wanting somewhere $250 or under but can stretch up to $280 for the right place and I am looking for somewhere I can stay long-term. I also have my own bedroom furniture that I will be bringing with me. I don’t really mind how many housemates I have, but I do have a preference for larger share houses. Let me know if you have anything!
Hi, I'm David. I'm 25 years old and currently working full time at an architecture firm in Surry Hills, and have been living in Newtown for most of this year. I usually finish work between 6pm and 7pm. I'm passionate about design, and I enjoy sketching in my free time and especially when travelling. On weekends I like going out for breakfast, getting outside for a run or yoga, playing basketball and socialising. I'm also a pretty big movie nerd and like to distract myself with a good book. I really enjoy getting to know new people, and I'm always open to new ideas and interests. Not a vegetarian but I respect others who are (:
So, I'm Stéphane, from Belgium, 27yo. I arrived in Aussie 3 months ago after a year and half in NZ. I'm working full time for Greenpeace and also doing lots of work for UNHCR 🙂 I'm a super joyful person, passionate about travels, anthropology and ice climbing. I'm now looking for a friendly vibe place to move in and feel like a home.
Hi there, I'm Britt I work full time in Data Analytics for an Insurance company in town (but I promise you, I'm not as boring as that makes me sound) I am financially responsible, neat and tidy, an excellent cook and always happy to have a chat. During the week I like to chill, go to the gym, or go out to dinner with friends, and on the weekends I will probably be scuba diving somewhere (on top of having a nerdy job I am a qualified diving instructor). I am a vegetarian, but I don't care if you aren't. I am not looking for a party house, but don't mind the occasional drink after a long week at work.
Hey guys! I’m here on a working holiday from the United States. I’m looking for somewhere short term as I would like to travel more after the new year. I like to have fun, socailaize and go on new adventures
I'm a 25 year old PR professional looking to move closer to work. When at home, Im normally listening to music, binge watching YouTube and shows, and gaming. I'm super tidy and will mostly keep to myself, but would love to have dinner and drinks together. I'm also vegan and would love to cook plant-based meals for flatmates! When not at home, I love going to markets, eating out and generally spending time outside/in nature! Since gaming is a huge hobby, I'm looking for a place with a strong internet connection (damn Sydney), as I also livestream on Twitch from time to time. Anywhere with access to NBN is a huge bonus and I'm more than happy to chip in for the majority of the internet bill!
Sociable and friendly 27 year old from UK excited to spend 6 months in Sydney. Enjoy a few beers and play a bit of sport. Excited to make new friends and explore as much of Sydney as possible! Will be working full-time in CBD, but keen to socialise in the evenings/weekends.
Hi I'm Dave, looking for a room in a social share house with 2 or 3 others so the house feels alive and homey. I've been in sharehouses or travelling since I was 18. This means I'm house trained and well versed in housemate respect, we have to live together right? As a broad stroke I'm interested in how things work, I fix air conditioning systems for a living. Love a specific conversation about any general topic and very much enjoy a general conversation about any specific topic. I'm a pretty keen gardener given the chance. Chilli's for hotsauce, various herbs for dinners, flowers cause they're purty, succulents and a sprinkling of indoors stuff. I'm a tradie, I work all over so I'm generally up and out pretty early. When I am at home I'm pretty chill, Netflix, a bit of gaming, enjoy cooking and I'm always keen to just hangout over a couple beers or dinner. Get in touch and we can have a chat!
Kiwi who has been living in Sydney for 2 years. I work full time for a software company. Really into music, in my free time you will catch me going to gig's or playing a bit of guitar. Also into drawing and painting. I'm pretty chill and easy going. Clean up after myself, pay rent on time. I keep pretty busy on weekend catching up with friends, going on bush walks or heading to the beach. My ideal flat is somewhere I can chill and have a beer with my flatmates, always keen to watch the Rugby and I'm not too bad at pool. - Be warned, if we live together I will probably try force you to listen to NZ music and watch NZ movies.
