We are both passionate about travel and love to share experiences and stories with others. We love music as well but don't have the need to share it too loudly with others all the time :) , however we like to discover new artists. We are pretty calm generally speaking and easy going. We are not (anymore) party animals but we never say no when it comes to share a beer !
Hi everyone! Just looking to move back to the inner west as I'm finishing my degree soon and no longer need to live close to uni. I've grown up in Lewisham my whole life and I love the area. I love coming home to a nice clean house but am also heaps chill with other peoples' mates coming round. I'm a hard working bartender and have never had problems paying rent or bills that come up, and happy to sign 3 or 6 month contracts I'm extremely friendly and love meeting new people.
I am a fun and happy person who is tidy and considerate. I am moving back to Sydney after spending a few years down the South Coast. Grew up in Newtown and would love to move back to the area. I have a gorgeous dog, Forrest who will be moving with me. He is a jack Russell X pug, loves people and is very well behaved. So would need to find a house or housemate who is happy to have myself and Forrest as roomies!
Hi, I'm Josh, a 24 year old graphic designer, working full-time at an agency in Sydney CBD. I am quite a tidy person and consider myself to be a relaxed dude. Love to have cheeky drinks on the weekend (or weekdays even). Respectful of others space. Willing to move in pretty much ASAP.
I work full time as an interior designer and tutor. I love painting, reading, bike riding and days at the beach! I'm clean, can always pay the bills and won't leave dishes in the sink, and I'm looking for a quiet, peaceful place to move into. I work during the week and prefer to sleep in on weekends, with a bit of dancing abd eating out with friends and loves in there for good measure. Looking for similarly-minded, leftie/open minded/creative/queer folk to move in with.
Hi potential housemate! I’ve just moved down to Sydney from Brisbane, and am looking for a friendly sharehouse in the inner West. I work full-time in the city as an electrical engineer, with an underlying interest in transitioning Australia to a cleaner energy future. In my spare time, I enjoy eating delicious food, checking out the local sights, having an occasional beer, and staying active. I’ve lived in sharehouses for the last five years, and was responsible for managing the bills in my last sharehouse. I’m a respectful, tidy, and easy-going guy. I’m quite flexible with a move date as I’m currently staying with family. If you have a room to fill and think I would be a good fit, please get in touch! Cheers Mark
I am a 29 year old permanent primary school teacher. I am originally from Newcastle but have been living in the inner west of Sydney for the last 4 years. I play a fair few sports, like going to music gigs and enjoy having a beer or wine with friends. I am pretty easy going and happy to fit into house routines. I am flexible with move in dates.
Hey! I'm Miriam, I'm 23 and from Canada but I'll be moving to Sydney in February to start law school at the University of Sydney! I'm clean and respectful and love meeting new people. I'm looking forwards to exploring the city, and I'm always up for brunch or a glass of wine.
I’m Kirsten, I’m 31 and from New Zealand and I’ve been in Sydney for two years. I am looking for a short term accommodation as I am looking to rent a house with a friend of mine and just need somewhere in the interim (could become long term if I love the house and flatties though!!). 2 months is just a rough gauge, could be more could be less (most likely more, as I'm super busy at work!) My $300 budget is all inclusive (unless it's a fantastic house and large room then I am willing to negotiate) I work in the hospitality industry (bartending in a restaurant in the city) so my schedule is mainly evening shift work. I’m not sure if you have any preconceived notions about hospitality workers, but I am not the rowdy type although I do like having a quiet drink every now and then. I am a non-smoker and don't mind living with smokers but as long as they keep it outside. I finish up work around about midnight, so would be getting home quite late but I would be respectful of everyone else in the house and keeping noise to the bare minimum. Spose a bonus of living with me would be that we'd never be needing to use the kitchen or bathroom at the same time when getting ready for work! After work, if I'm not already exhausted, I'll wind down by either having a jam on a PlayStation (which I have yet to purchase) or watching a bit of Netflix, quietly of course. On my days off, I'll usually be out and about doing my own thing, unless I've decided it's a cleaning day and I will attempt to sort out the house top to bottom. I am a little bit of an introvert but I am friendly and respectful and pretty mellow and chill. I would love to become friends with my flatmate(s) and make it my home, and not just be an extra body in the house to cover the rent, but I do also value my alone time. I’ve always been the lease holder of places I’ve lived, so I’ve been in charge of paying rent plus organising and collecting utility bill money from other flatmates. Bills and rent will always be paid on time. I’m tidy and always clean up after myself. I like to recycle whenever I can, and will carry recyclables with me until I find an appropriate bin (if I'm not at home) Absolutely love dogs (more than happy to help look after them if needed), but am not willing to live with cats. I also have a car so I will need to have access to unrestricted parking (on-street or off-street, either/or is fine!) Get in touch if you think we'd get along great! cheers!
Hello, I am a working professional who is fun and reliable to live with. I am looking for a quiet place to live which is close to amenities, cafes and restaurants and a lovely house to chill. I have a good network of friends in Sydney so I am independent and pretty much do my own thing. But love a good chat when need be and am a very supportive flatmate. A good package - independent yet social and supportive!
Hey there my names Sam, I love the outdoors, rock climbing, music, good coffee and even better food. I currently work as a software manager at a startup in the city but in a previous life I owned a bar and restaurant so can mix up a decent Long Island.
I'm a full-time flight attendant and I recently finished up at UoW with a Bachelor of International Studies. I'm currently living in a share house in Wollongong and I am hoping to move to a suburb in Sydney that's close to public transport or within an hour drive of the airport. I'm pretty social and I'm a pretty relaxed housemate. Hoping to live with some other young people who love delish food.
Hey, I'm Tom. I've been here in Sydney for about 18 months having moved up from Hobart, I'm 24 and I've just started a grad job in the CBD, working full time. I'm social and always happy to join in the fun and meet cool people. I play guitar and love music. I also play Aussie rules football for Balmain. I'm stable and social, looking for some cool people to share a place with. Hoping to meet other people who have their own cool things going on and want someone to be a real part of their household. I'm clean, without being crazy, and I'm happy to contribute wherever needed around the house.
Hi I'm Ash, a 21 year old female from England and in Sydney for 4-9 months on a working holiday visa. I'm planning on working full time so would be a respectful, clean and tidy flatmate but also love going out or having a few drinks on the weekend. Open to everyone, sociable and v chilled!
Hello! I'm a solo traveler from the US looking to join a shared house here in Sydney. I've lived in shared houses for the last 4 years (and hostel dorms for the last 4 months) so I'm used to contributing to a sense of community as well as looking after my portion of the chores. As a housemate you can rely on me to always pay on-time and in-full, respect others' space/time/belongings, and clean up after myself. I'm a recent university graduate and have been traveling for 4 months. I'm rather introverted and low-key; I enjoy a home where I can unwind. That being said, I love connecting with new people and finding new places. I'm still looking for a great job and once I'm a bit more settled here I look forward to weekend trips and exploring the city. Seeing as I only have my luggage with me, ideally I'd find a furnished room/house. Feel free to reach out if you think I'd blend well with your house. I will gladly set up a time to view the place and meet the housemates!
Hey, I'm Matt. I work in TV as an editor. I love getting to the beach, going to gigs, meeting up with mates for a few drinks in the park or one of the many fine establishments the inner west has to offer, the occasional art/cultural events, and the odd festival if life permits, and of course Netflix and music :) I also like to chill at home and escape the outside world. I love a good chat about anything and nothing. I'm pretty laid back and independent. I like to get to know the people I live with and I do love the occasional cook up and cheeky glass of something something with the housemates. I'm tidy and respectful of other housemates and shared spaces. I'm fairly socially active, but do my partying outside of the home, I like home to a sanctuary from the outside world - but I'm not adverse to the occasional impromptu gatherings or house parties if we are feeling it! I'm looking for a friendly fun home to share with other cool humans! I'm technically 36 years old, but I don't think I've ever mentally moved on from 29... ;) My move in dates can be very flexible, anytime in November or December. I'm looking for long term accommodation preferably at least 6 months, though I'd rather 1 year plus.
I've just finished first year at Sydney uni, started out doing an arts/science double degree, hoping to make a wild transfer to music next year. I play the clarinet (but am able to practise elsewhere if preferred). I enjoy cooking, reliable housework completer-er. I love big chats about almost anything but also have no trouble being self-contained. Over the holidays I'm hoping to get a part-time job, work on music stuff, go on some caving trips and maybe do a bit of travel. My other passions include second hand clothes, energetic dancing, flatbread and beer.
As a student studying education I'm ethically driven and provide great dinner time conversation. I work in retail to subsidise my love for wine. I'm tidy and a generally good quality human being to live with! I also have a beautiful kitty named leia who gets along with everyone
HI ya'll My name is Cecilia and I'm a 20 year old third year student who works part-time. I'm not looking for just a place to go home to and literally never talk to my housemates. I'm legit looking for a long-term home. At least more than 6 months where it'll comfortable and we can be mates at least. Hopefully looking for people around the same age as I who might be students but that's not a deal-breaker. If you're also interested in teaming up for a new place that could be cool as well so just let me know. Just to remind ya'll, my maximum budget is 300 as most so please don't message me asking to look at your listing that's at 350. Please, no places where there are people living in bunkbeds or lounge rooms Thanks :) I'm cool with both dudes and chicks since I'm too poor to pay for flatmates, I'm really sorry you need to have early bird access to message me. However I can be found on social media by searching my first name and my last name which is sendah :) If that doesnt work then I can be found on the gram - - - - - - - - - - - - sencecilia If this is still up then I'm still looking :)
Hello! I am Meesh, 27 years old and trained well im share house living. I enjoy being outdoors, checking out new bars and restaurants and cooking up the occasional feed at home. I'm respectful and considerate and always up for some friendly banter. I'd love to find somewhere that has real homely and friendly vibes. I'm a chef, so I'm out a fair bit, but always keen to grab a feed and a beer if schedules permit and i can also answer any cookery and food related questions should google not be suffice. I'd also like somewhere to grow some herbs etc. So if that works with you, we could potentially be plant buddies. I am not a passive aggressive post it note bandit and hope that you aren't either I'm terrible at about mes but i look forward to hearing from you! Cheers guys!
Hi, I'm looking to move back out from home in the near future. A bit about me: I like to watch and play sport, keep active and I always enjoy a drink. I am mad about basketball and can talk all things NBA or spend my entire day shooting hoops. I'm also a closet nerd who enjoys programming and building apps in my spare time. I work full time in IT in the city and would preferably find a place that is near public transport (ideally train).
