Hi Everyone! I'm Jess, a twenty something girl from England looking to move in to a flat or sharehouse from the end of January. I work full time as an event manager but love to socialise and am very easy going. I'm looking for a super friendly place to live, I'm happy to catch up over wine or Netflix but also understand the need for personal space. Ideally looking for somewhere Inner West so I can walk to work but open to other locations with good transport links.
I'm a full-time university lecturer with interests in criminology as well as an exhibiting digital media artist. Non-smoker, friendly personality, respectful and very tidy! Most weekends I'll return to my home in the Hunter Valley. I'm looking for a room with own bathroom/ensuite or a studio apartment near University of Sydney.
A guy that can do both. I'm a full time video editor, working at an ad agency, who enjoys your usual music, movies and going out. Keen to move closer to work in the CBD and looking for some good people to move in with.
Always happy to chat but also like having chilled out times reading, listening to music and whatnot. Work in the arts sector so enjoy all things creative, plus beach, tasty foods and wines, walking in the park, chatting with cats and dogs, all that jazz :) Looking for a share house from March onwards while my partner heads to the UK for work in 2017, currently living in Newtown.
A certified gun at washing dishes. Tidy and respectful. Very easy-going. Likes sport and gym. Financially stable. Consumes beer and scotch. Originally from Sydney. Hoping to find one or two like minded fellas to share with. I'd love to be close to a train station so I can conveniently get into the city for my 9-5.
I'm a bright and friendly fine arts student (formerly student of science/arts), love to ride my bike around and go for walks and weekend adventures. I generally keep my work contained to the studio and leave home as a place to wind down, but still love to create things as much as I can. I'm quiet though still a social creature. Love meeting new people and learning new things about the world.
Hey there, i'm a 22 year old (male) paramedic who has just moved up from the south coast and i'm looking for some a new home in Sydney that i can use as a base to go out an explore all the exciting things this amazing city has to offer! Im a pretty clean boy, and a generally low maintenance house mate that is always up for a chat and a good catch up! If you are nice enough to adopt me you are totally invited to everywhere i go! Don't let me be homeless, please!
Outgoing and outdoorsy, clean and tidy, working full time as an engineer in Sydney CBD. I'm looking for a like-minded household with other young professionals. Easygoing and always happy to be social and share a few beers / meals as a flat. Generally spend my weekends out and about, however every so often I will gladly veg out on the couch. Have a heap of my own whitegoods, so hopefully that sweetens the pot. Terrible at writing these bios and recognise that while share houses can be a great way of meeting people, they can be challenging if the fit isn't right. Would love to meet you for a coffee/beer/drink of choice for a chat to test if it would be a compatible fit.
Hi I'm Jess, and I'm looking for my own medium sized room in a cool, relaxed yet social household to call home. i'm a full time graphic designer (packaging and Branding) by day and love hanging out with friends, going to live gigs, obsessed with Buffy, silver jewellery making, try to practice yoga, walks, drawing and relaxing. I'm social, I love having a beer or tea with housemates chatting, movie nights but I also appreciate the quiet time on Netflix. I'm easy to get along with, quirky, funny and I’m often described and a glitter-unicorn by my friends (sadly RIP my pastel pink unicorn hair, but the glitter lives on….forever) I have been house sharing for about 3+ years with people found online which have turned into some of my closest friends. I’m clean and totally understand the responsibilities and upkeep a house can have. I prefer living in a house with soul and good vibes rather than a short term, in/out kinda house. I'm Interested in the long term room as I like to settle into a place I also have a beautiful small dog called Bailey, he's 6 and lived with me in my past houses, he's house trained, plays with other dogs, loves cuddles and a patch of sun so he's a bit like a cat. I have references from previous landlords if you would like too. I would love to hear from your guys and check out some places soon, I've been living in forest lodge for 1.5 years and would like a change, dates are flexible. hope to meet you soon, Jess
I'm friendly and get on with most people, but a little bit introverted. Tidy up after myself and have a clean room. Love the beach, like to cook and don't mind sharing. would like to move in with people I can be friends with. I work a lot so will be in and out the house. I have some furniture that takes up space like a fridge, chair & futon, outside table and some little things like glasses & mugs I've been collecting. I also have a car so at least need street parking. Looking to move out in March/April
Hi! I am Patricia and I will be moving to Sydney first week of February 2017. I am looking for a place to stay, preferably in the inner west suburbs. I am a Filipino professional, easy to get along with, respectful, neat and won't mind having dogs or pets inside the house.
I'm a doctor working at St Vincent's (from Feb) but mostly office hours with the occasional on-call. I'm British but have permanent residency on Australia. I'm looking for a housemate that could also be a friend. I'm pretty laid back generally - like my quiet nights at home but also love to entertain and have the odd night out. I also want to get a dog so please don't waste your time if that's a no-go for you!
Hey! Our names are Clarice and Savanah. We are two university students searching for a 3-4 bedroom house in Newtown or the neighbouring suburbs. We are able to pay $250-$280 each. We are looking for house mates who are also studying or working full-time to join our small family. We are originally from Coffs Harbour but have both been renting in Sydney for two years. Savannah is in her third year of Veterinary Science at USYD and I am in my second year of Chinese Medicine at UTS. We like to have a quite, clean and homey environment to keep on top of our busy schedules. We love to have a good time and enjoy socialising over some casual drinks, a good movie night or a yummy meal but we would prefer to keep the house party free. If you think you could be our third amigo, we would love to hear from you! Just send us a message xx
Hello! My name is Ellie and I'm moving to Sydney from Adelaide to study a radio course at AFTRS. I would love to live within cycling distance of the campus (it's in Moore Park). I love gin and tonics, films, avocado on toast, Kate Bush, podcasts, kitchen dance parties, collecting vinyl, sharing meals, making puns, drinking beers and meeting all sorts of new people. I've lived in sharehouses in Adelaide and overseas and know the drill. I'm really easy to get along with and am keen for a friendly, comfortable place to call home (and I always refill the ice cube tray!) Feel free to get in touch if you wanna know more!
Hello I'm Kirst, and I am looking for a place to call home somewhere in the inner west. You'll either find me at work (Tues-Sat), exploring the outdoors, sipping on a beer or hanging with a mate. I'm in my mid twenties and would prefer to be a part of a happy professional sociable household and share a meal from time to time! I would prefer to be close to public transport (even though I drive everyday day) I intend to make use of it one day! Prefer long term stay 6-12 months+, although it is preferred but not necessary. Also happy to team up with others. Flexible with move dates - the sooner the better, mid/late Jan would be ideal, though if it's quite the catch I'm happy wait a little longer! Hope to hear from you K
We are a friendly, social, active and easy going couple moving down to Sydney from Newcastle. I will be starting my masters at Sydney Uni and Dan works full time as an electrician. In our spare time your can usually find us at the beach (dan loves to surf), at the gym/swimming, eating brunch (we love food), drinking copious amounts of coffee or watching netflix. We don't mind the odd drink (or many drinks) here and there and we can't wait to get out and explore Sydney on the weekends.
I'm a relaxed fun loving person who enjoys meeting new friends and being social. I enjoy my own time as well but I'm looking to live with people who also enjoy a chat and a drink sometimes. Week to week I'm not a huge party person, more of a relaxed get together type guy, but I won't shy away from a big night either. I live a pretty healthy and active lifestyle, love the beach and will jump at any opportunity to try something new or go on an adventure. I work full-time in emergency services but when i'm not at work I try not to take things to seriously. My background is in design and I'm still a creative person at heart. I live for good food and coffee and enjoy cooking. Cleaning is no issue and I'm a tidy person. I'm a non smoker and strictly no drugs by me or anyone I live with. I don't have any pets but I love dogs and I'm generally ok with animals as long as they don't destroy the house. At the moment I live in St Peters with my female housemate who is unfortunately moving out due to pug commitments. I'm looking for a change of scenery in a stable living arrangement long term.
Hello, I'm Daniel. I work full-time at Macquarie University and have lived in Leichhardt for almost 18 months. I'm looking for a new place in Sydney. I've come to love the inner-west in particular but am open to other areas. I'm originally from the south coast of NSW. I love football, reading and writing, watching films, music, cooking/food and socialising. Cheers.
Hi I'm Prageeth. I'm currently working full time in actuarial consulting, however come March I'll be back to full time study and part time work to finish up my final year of university. I'm a really relaxed, clean and fun person to live with. Between work and study I'm pretty busy, but whenever I am home I'm always up for a chat or a beer or two. I enjoy hiking, reading and cooking (would love a place with a big kitchen), but I change my hobbies around every few months to keep it interesting. I would prefer to live with 2-3 other people, but no real preferences other than that. Let me know if you have a place or are interested in teaming up :)
I am a very easy going, friendly guy originally from Canberra . I'm currently in my last year of uni and working part time (full time over the summer) and looking for a room really anywhere in the inner west (honestly not picky at all).
I'm 25 and am looking for a new place in Marrickville or surrounding areas. Originally from Melbourne, I've fallen in love with the inner west and the relaxed and community-like lifestyle. I work as a model, and casually at 2Day FM. I'm pretty social, I go to lots of work events, but very much enjoy a quiet night in with a glass of red or three watching reality TV or GoT (I need it to return already!) If you want someone who lives a 9-5 lifestyle I'm not the right housemate for you, and while my schedule is very unpredictable, my budget is not. Hopefully I'll be the one you're looking for! Please get in touch!
I’m a 28 year old gay male, currently working part-time as a dog walker and studying spatial design part-time at UTS. I’m looking for a place where I can sign onto a lease. I am looking for a place I can begin renting over the next few weeks. I’m fairly happy keeping to myself whilst being social at times, and like to keep things neat and tidy. Ideally I’m looking for a home where I can become friends with who I’m living with, but still have my own space in my room. I love to cook, and live a fairly quiet lifestyle in that I’m not out partying and don’t have house parties. I prefer catching up over meals and a few drinks, nothing too big. Living with me is Frankie, my 3 year old dog who I have trained to be a medical assistance dog. She's an awesome dog with a big personality. She goes to uni and work with me, and I'm crate training her so she'll happily settle in a new house. She also loves other dogs.
My name is Eleanor, I'm currently moving out of my place in Marrickville and am looking to stay in the area. I'm a fully employed, 25 year old lady veteran of share houses in all shapes and sizes. Talents include light conversation and vacuum cleaning.
I am a young professional looking for a room. I am moving to Sydney from Newcastle to start a full time position working at the University of New South Wales at the end of January. I am a post-doctoral researcher who works in medical research. I have experience living in a share house, am very clean and respectful of people's space. I will be working 9-5 mon-fri so I'm looking for somewhere relaxed and quiet during the week. I am sociable and enjoy hanging out in the evening possibly with some drinks but also like my own space. I like to go out for drinks and meals during the week or on weekends every now and then. On weekends I'll probably be relaxing at home, out and about exploring Sydney, or sometimes even heading back to Newcastle for the weekend. In my down time I enjoy watching TV, reading and playing some games I'm starting work on the 30th so looking to move in before then, flexible with the date and looking to stay long term in the right place. I am preferably looking for a room to fit a queen bed plus a few small bits of furniture.
Looking for an inner city, inner west or inner East place with 1 or more flatmates of either gender! Preferably a place ranging $300-350 p/w, staying anywhere from a month to month basis to 6 month stay (to begin with). Would be keen on an apartment with my own bathroom, but also happy with unit, flat, or house with a shared bathroom. I'm super easy-going, friendly, relaxed, and also tidy and clean :) I'm the type of person that is happy to hang with with my housemate but also cool with a housemate that wants to do their own thing! I am currently working full-time at CBA and studying at Usyd x
I am a Mexican-Canadian studying a Master's program at the University in Sydney. Looking to stay with other respectful and clean students or professionals of a similar age. Looking for a private, furnished room close to a train station.
My name's Brea. I'm 25, a full time journalist with the ABC and a sharehouse veteran. I'm clean, have a strict 'don't be a dickhead policy' and I come with whiskey and art. I'm happy to pay a few weeks upfront if needed. Let me know if you're keen to meet!
Looking for: long term stay, UNFURNISHEDUNFURNISHED and private room Working in UTS full-time, studying Masters part-time at USYD and currently living in Enmore and loving the area. Consider myself both a nerd and a geek, love 'em comics, read a lot of literature and non-fiction, social sciences, politics, philosophy, behavioural sciences, art... also watch some TV when I can get around to it... scifi/fantasy anything dystopian or with zombies really... = a versatile conversationalist! Would love a house hold that I can share a meal or drinks with every now and again. However I am pretty quiet around the house, mainly because I work long hours. I like to keep my surroundings clean and tidy, and respect others' space. I'm not passive aggressive which you can consider as a plus or not - if I have something to say, I'll say it so we can resolve it. If we run out of dish washing liquid or toilet paper I'll get it, no problem, chill.
Hi, I'm Lenka, 26 yrs old British girl working in Recruitment in the city. I'm a permanent resident here and have been in Australia for 3 years. I am very active; rock climbing, acroyoga, diving, hooping, gym and more! I spend probably about half my time at my partner's place in the inner west and am looking to move back to the area because I left to the Eastern suburbs about a year ago and I miss it! When I am home, I love binge watching tv shows or reading a good book with a glass of wine, or painting, drawing and being creative. I'm an avid cook and baker and love doing family dinners and cooking for other people. Cat and dog person even though I come with none of my own. Very sociable, chatty and easy going, I also take huge amount of pride in being clean and tidy and am looking for a long term commitment to a lovely place I can call home.
I'm just leaving a lovely place this year as my housemates are moving back up to the Central Coast. I'm 28, non smoker, friendly, and work in Pyrmont at a digital content studio. I'm quiet, but easy to get along with, and I err on the neat and tidy side of the housemate spectrum. I'm LGBT-friendly and love pets.
I am a 30 yr old professional working at University of Technology Sydney, I work in student services. I am starting part-time study next year to complete a Post Grad in Career consulting so I can become a career advisor at UTS. I'm very excited to do this! : ) I am also a singer songwriter (genre: soul, rnb, pop), I have eclectic music taste but soul and blues are high on my list. I also love my hip hop including dancing! I'm social and love to spend time out with friends at dinner, BBQ's, indoor rock climbing, yoga, live gigs, dancing, beach, bushwalks and anything else that will enrich my life and my friends. I'm originally from the Central Coast but had been living in Melbourne for 2 years prior to returning to Sydney. I have been sub-leasing most recently in Newtown and Darlinghurst, I've loved the short trip to work! Im looking for a long term lease, in the Glebe, Darlinghurst, Newtown, Marickville and surrounding areas... I have lived in share housing for over 6 years with all types of personalities although I was usually the one interviewing, this time around has been difficult as I am really looking for a home and some great people to live with. I've been taking my time to make sure I'm a good fit for you and vice versa. I'm independent and like alone time in my room to write or watch a documentary or series but I also love to come home to people who like a chat or to share dinner together etc. I'm clean particularly regarding communal areas but I am not extreme. I do value people who are house proud and want to share in cleanliness! : ) I'm most familiar with house sharing that's a bit like a pseudo family where we all have our separate lives yet can connect amongst the chaos and have some fun laughing, chatting, planning a dinner or just hanging watching some stupid tv. I'm creative, enthusiastic about life and all about family and friends. I'm looking for genuine, clean, fun and potentially creative music lovers in their late 20's-early 30's. Please let me know if I sound like your kind of human. Yas

Hi all! My name is Cameron, I'm 22 and at the beginning of 2016 moved from Perth to study law at the University of Sydney. I'm moving out of student accommodation and looking to find something in the general vicinity of USYD / transport to USYD. Please note that my move in date is extremely flexible and I'm more interested in securing the right place to live in than what date I start paying rent (i.e. happy for an earlier starting lease!) If you think you may be interested in my spiel on how well house-trained, clean and respectful of everyone's personal space I am - please get in touch!
Hi everyone! I am an outgoing, easy to get along with French textile designer working full time 9 to 5 in Ultimo. I arrived 2 years ago in Australia and lived from that time in Newtown. I'm looking for a place I can call home... During the week I like to swim or go to my dance class, but also share a nice diner with my housemates and friends. On weekends, I'm really relax and I'm definitely not a morning person. I love to get a late breaky with my mates and go to the beach on the afternoon or go to some creatives events. So in summary, I can be quiet and keep to myself. But I can also have a good time and go out to get drinks with friends. Oh! And I'm really food addict... especially everything sweet, so I can tell you where you can find the best chocolat croissant in Sydney! I am looking for a long-term place to stay, preferably someplace that is close to Newtown and has public transportation nearby. I am open to living with a male or female roommate, just prefer someone that is clean and respects my space. I am very clean and organized. Thanks and look forward to meeting some new people in Sydney!
Hello im Kristi, Im 27 and looking for a fresh start this 2017. Im currently living 4 hours south of Sydney and im looking to move to a place with a fun alive vibe and meet some new people. I'm clean and tidy and i love chats but am also independent so I wont get all up in your bubble. I've got a very handsome pug Called Sir Gramps who is 5. Hes very well behaved and non smelly. Hey people! I'm a big fan of the outdoors and I spend most of my weekends either at the beach or out in the Blue Mountains climbing or hiking. I consider myself a social person and will generally spend my time at home out in the living room chatting and hanging out rather than locked away in my room but I am respectful of others privacy and need for alone time. I'm generally super laid back and don't sweat the little things that come with hose sharing, hakuna matata. I work full time as an engineer in the CBD and generally try to keep myself occupied and out of the house outside of work hours. I'm also a guitarist and am always up for a jam or singalong, but am always conscious to not to play during inappropriate times like early weekend mornings or the like.
Hi there, I am Rhianne and a freelancer in the theatre industry. I am in sydney at the moment working with Griffin Theatre Company and looking for a place to stay until Feb 12th and then i will tour to Melbourne for a month and then need a place again in Sydney when i come back March 12th until May 2nd. I am fabulous with kids and pets and sleep well through the night so crying or anything like that won't bother me. I will be extremely busy on the show and don't know anyone so won't be bringing friends home, plus I'm engaged. BUT even though I'm away for the month in the middle I'm hoping we can work something out? I am super organised and clean but love a good sized pint at the pub and to laugh. A lot. Thanks Rhi
I'm a special ed teacher recently returned from overseas and need to find a new place to live. Am always tidy and clean in my living habits and have also been known to be a bit of fun from time to time. I love animals, am a bit allergic to cats but have also lived with them my whole life so it's not an issue. Also love music in many forms but am well aware that people don't always want to be listening to other's music. I do enjoy a good chat most of the time, as well as going out and making the most of my weekends. This usually involves hitting the beach (weather permitting), diving, climbing, catching up and partying with friends, etc. I do also cherish the odd bit of solo time to relax and unwind by myself to read, watch TV, play music, write or just chill - so I respect the privacy and space of those I live with.
Hello! I'm looking for a new home with max one other person for at least 12 months. I'm 26, like to spend a bit of time at home to relax as I have a very busy job, but also go to the gym regularly and out for drinks or weekend markets in the area, join me! I work full time helping to run a restaurant business in the inner west (free food ;) ). Also moving with me is my 2 yr old little black cat Lilo who is not only very cute but also well trained and doesn't make much noise or mess. I've lived in several sharehouses and kinda over cleaning up after other people so looking for someone mature and clean. Happy to start in a fresh new rental or move in to an established place where I can contribute to the house. Prefer to have own bathroom and a reasonable size bedroom, also need access to an outdoor area for Lilo and a plant collection.
I'm from Toronto (Canadia). I'll be moving to Sydney in mid February for a Master's in Physiotherapy. I'm easy going, sociable and respectful. I enjoy occasional drinks and a laugh but will be focusing on my studies. I'm a big music nerd and when I'm not studying or maintaining my dad bod, I'm doing music/ production (quietly with headphones). Very clean and easy to get along with. Love dogs. Cheers!
My friend and I have been friends since school. He works full time as a designer while I will be entering a Masters in Physiotherapy program at Usyd. We're both outgoing and friendly, very polite and keep our mess to a minimum. Personally, I love exercise and living healthily and I'm an extremely tidy housemate. Happy to have a few drinks every now and then and excited to meet new people! We are not cliquey.
Hey! I'm Kelly, 24, full time hairdresser from England and will be returning to Sydney on the 25th of this month and need a room in a share house (or apartment or whatever!) to move into ideally straight away. I am open to the location as long as it is easy to commute into the city centre. I'm very friendly, bubbly, sociable, respectful of peeps' privacy, and clean, and tidy. I hope to meet similar or like-minded people to live with and become good pals with. If you're interested please message me and I will be more than happy to exchange details! Can FaceTime/Skype to get to know each other. Thankssssss
I am a medical student from Germany. To finish my doctoral dissertation I will stay at the University of Sydney for six months, starting in March 2017. I am an easygoing, calm and friendly person who is looking for a quiet and comfortable place to stay. On weekdays I will be in the lab most of the time, but still I want to meet new people and get to know Australia. I am vegan, but I do not mind whether my flatmates are/aren't. Looking forward to hear from you!
Hi! :) I'm studying Social Work at the University of Sydney in 2017 and I'm looking for a place to live while I study! I'm hoping for my own room somewhere close to public transport. I come from a small rural town so I love exploring the city. I love love love my art, live music, snorkelling and travel (although I haven't experienced all that much). Im also a massive animal lover and more than happy to share with pets. I'm very easy going, definitely not a girly girl (hate drama :P) and I'm up for a fun night out or a simple night in.
Hey! I am very quiet and organised ! Like to keep my space clean and tidy. I am a chemist but I have recently moved back to Sydney and working in the hospitality industry. I am originally from Colombia :-) I love to read and love my science also looking at getting into some yoga classes.
Hi! My girlfriend Agnieszka and I are looking for a new home. Both full time working professionals. We are both easy going and enjoy social activities, especially beer, wine, chat and laughs, with a pinch of a dry humour. Not looking for a party house really. Agnieszka is a creative type, with a little dose of neat-freak. Me - she keeps me in check in terms of tidiness. I'm not the most creative from the bunch, but I fix stuff instead- may come in handy. Minimum stay we would like is 2 months, hopefully longer. Bike friendly place would be best if possible.
Hi there! I will be coming back from a 6-month exchange + travelling in the states and will need a place to live for coming school year. I'm in my third year of software engineering and arts and some of my hobbies include drawing, designing and reading. I'm a prolific TV binge-watcher (2 seasons, 2 days? Bring it on!) and am always down for a good chat, but respectful of other people's privacy. I am pretty clean and keep my mess to myself. LGBT+, 420 and dog friendly. I'm looking for roommates I can also be friends with, not just people I live with - I'm pretty easy going but I also know when to put my head down to get things done. (I'm not very good at these bios, I feel like I am much more put together in person)
*Heading overseas for 3 weeks - back 8 Feb Hi I'm moving down to Sydney from Brissy. Professional, easy going, I like my space after long days at work but also keen to head out to bars or have a wine at home when I can. Need undercover parking
