Quiet, respectful health care professional looking for a long term place to live. I work during the week and play soccer on weekends, like living with other people but won't invade your space. Very easygoing and easy to get along with!
I’m not smart, I just wear glasses and I’m here to avoid friends on Facebook, I am quiet and kept to myself, focusing on my external study and career. I rarely drink at all i'm not into partying, my only party trick is being multilingual.
I’m currently studying social science at UQ and working part time at Pottery Barn on James St. I’m very friendly and extremely easy going, not a lot phases me. I’m also very quiet and tidy. I get up very early for training and go to sleep pretty early too, I’m honestly just a grandma who can sleep through anything.
I’m quiet and respectable, yet happy to have a chat and a laugh. I appreciate my privacy and the privacy of others. More than willing to give a helping hand when required. I enjoy art, movies and music.
I am friendly and respectful and clean up after myself. I pay rent and bills on time and work full-time. I enjoy a quiet beer and a chat but generally do my own thing. I am looking for a temporary place until i can save up for a flat or unit by myself. I play music, cook and enjoy growing food. Basically I'm a quiet easy going guy who looks after his responsibilities.
Hi my name’s Kate! I’m a young professional. I work full time as a dental assistant. I’m looking to find a house with flat mates similar age to me. On the weekends I normally go to the gym and just chill at home. I do love to go out and have a good time now and then. But also wouldn’t mind just staying home and chilling. I just want to meet some new people and make some new friends.
Hey potential house mate/s! My partner (Sydney, 24) and I (Amber, 21) are looking for a spacious house with good vibes to fit our loved belongings. Must have space for and accept our 400L fish tank (mesmerising) and outdoor pet rat, Panda. Sydney works full-time as a construction site manager. I study full-time at QUT and work across 2 jobs, so we are both busy bees. We do love our down time though, whether that be gaming or having a few drinks (or 10). We are open to mingling but will respect your privacy and always clean up after ourselves. We both love camping and exploring new places when we get the chance, oh and food! I love plants and playing soccer, whereas Syd enjoys AFL and good banter. **please message me for a list of our belongings** we are willing to part with some items or place in available storage if you are happy to compromise and welcome the rest of our belongings. LGBT+ and animal friendly! 😊
How's it going :) My name is David - I am 20, super easy to get along with, a fitness freak, work 2 jobs so cash is no worries, very clean, very laid back, responsible, and have my own car. I don't mind keeping to myself but I prefer a house where we can all get along and socialise :) Looking forward to hearing from you.
I am a recently graduated social worker who is currently working in the domestic violence sector. I come with one cat, Cece, who I adore. I am a sociable person and enjoy chilling out with friends, Netflix and occasionally some wine. I like having my own space and time to myself at home, but I'm always up for a chat. I am very clean and respectful of others' space and privacy.
Hi im Tyla! im 20 yrs old, clean and tidy, like to keep to myself as well as socialise and have a few drinks! Im looking to move closer to the city as thats where I am working my full time job! I love to go to gym and on hikes, so I’m always up for a little adventure! I’m looking to live with easy going, like minded people, who are looking for not only a house mate but a friend! :)
Hi! My name is Paige. I am a social individual who loves the beach and the outdoors in general. I lead an active lifestyle and like to think I’m pretty easy going. I am currently the manager of a store so am working full time. I am respectful of my flatmates’ space, but if you’re down for a chat or a hangout I will be happy to oblige. I am neat, clean and always tidy up after myself.
Hi! My name is Natalie and I am a 20 year old working and studying in the interior decorating industry. I love to cook, especially Italian and Mexican food. I'm really creative and love learning new skills. I'm very social, but only have a few close friends. I'm OCD-tidy and I'm very respectful of other's space. I've lived in Brisbane for the last six or so years. I work in the city: commuting, so I don't need a car space. I'd love to live with people my own age and of similar disposition. I don't mind dogs, and I don't have any pets of my own. I have a slight cat allergy. If you think that I'd make a great roommate, just send me a message! Hope to hear from you soon! :) xx
I work full time throughout the week 6am - 2.00pm so im an early sleeper, i sometimes like sticking to myself but am friendly and would enjoy catching up now an then, im wanting to stay in a comfortable place and potentially make new friends.
Hi! I am a Primary School Teacher looking to move into the Alderley/Newmarket/Windsor area. I am a cheerful, fun-loving and respectful person who is know to be the 'clean one'! I love singing, music and cooking. I enjoy a good chill and a few beverages on the weekends! **unfortunately air-conditioning in the room is a must!
Room for rent ($140 including bills) Partly Furnished two-storey townhouse located 8km from the CBD in Gaythorne. There are only 8 townhouses in the block and it’s situated at the end. There is one room available (with a shared bathroom and separate toilet) Both rooms are built in with ceiling fans. There are two visitor parking spots but PLENTY of street parking. The rent is inclusive of all the bills and internet as I have the en-suite bedroom and the single LUG, which is only fair. The townhouse will have everything except for a couch, television and dryer (which belong to my current housemate) for a short time Features: - modern kitchen with plenty of storage and bench space - Security screens throughout - Tiled living area and carpet throughout the bedrooms - Fully fenced private courtyard Location: - close to Brookside Shopping Centre, walking distance to Gaythorne Railway Station and the Army Barracks About your housemates: I’m a shift worker in the emergency services and the other fellow moving in works FT in childcare. We are looking for one other person to fill the room. I train at a local powerlifting gym most days, I enjoy camping, 4WDing and getting outdoors on my days off. I drink socially but don’t smoke. I don’t mind if you drink regularly but I won’t consider smokers. Or if you’re “420 friendly” Ideally, you’ll be mature, won’t have parties, have a stable career and easy going. I’ll probably ask what you do for work, please don’t be offended, but I do want someone with a reliable income. I’m pretty clean and tidy and looking for someone that cleans up after themselves as well. “He’s the best housemate and I’m sad to leave” - Current housemate, 2018 If you’re interested, send me a message to check the place out and we can meet. The move- in date is also slightly negotiable.
I work full time as a managing pharmacist in Northside Brisbane. I’m a very friendly and respectful housemate who likes to keep a clean home. I am a non-smoker who is willing to do my share of the house work. I am always up for a chat or a Netflix session. I enjoy reading, cooking (especially baking), hiking, and a good brunch in my spare time on the weekends.
I work full time and study full time. I have a partner that lives on the sunny coast so they visit on some weekends otherwise I will be up there! I have a cat called phoebe- she’s a 3yr old Himalayan. She loves attention and is frequently found rolling over for tummy tickles. I am usually found working or on the sunny coast otherwise swimming, cooking, socialising or binge watching Netflix.
I am easy going and very clean. Enjoy quiet time during the week as I work full time. Love to catch up over a glass or two of wine on Friday's. Also love gymming, so if you don't find me at home I will definitely be at the gym.
As you now I'm a student nurse at QUT looking for good, affordable accommodation toward the end of the year with house mates who are clean and not too noisy. I like going to the gym, weekly park runs, shopping in the markets, reading and going to the movies. Favourite programs are GOT, Vikings and House of Cards.
I am a yoga teacher and wellness specialist (working with PTSD/trauma/high-stress occupations) looking at making the move back to Brisbane from the Sunshine Coast. I have a beautiful, 5y/o husky who loves people but as a rescue pup, doesn't do well with other dogs in the same space. She's fluffy, but I make sure I clean up after her. (Outside-only dog - I know people always say that, but this is actually very true). I also have a sweet, quite timid inside-only cat (so she's clean) who will probably hide a lot of the time until she gets to know people. I'm clean, super-respectful of space and boundaries, am not a partier but can enjoy a wine or two over good conversation. I'm friendly and love when I live with people I can get along with. I'm reliable with bills and a good communicator. Bonus: I also come with an espresso coffee machine! I also have white goods (can be stored elsewhere if necessary) and super comfy lounge suite (can confirm: best napping couch!) Since I own my own business, I will need space at least in the bedroom for my desk if not an extra area where possible. I'm generally pretty busy and focused on my work. When I'm not doing that, I'm out at yoga (doing or teaching), walking the dog, being active (just getting into indoor rock climbing), finding a park to chill out and read in, etc etc. My move date is just dependent on finding the right place. Let me know if you have any other questions :)
Hi, we're Krystal (28) and Scott (30). We've just come back from a working holiday in Japan and are looking for a new place to live. We're friendly, quiet, clean and would love to live with people who are similar to us. Krystal is a writer with interests in language, reading, travel, music, animals and nature. Scott is an engineer who loves photography, mountain biking, and of course travelling! We both love camping, hiking, riding, swimming, kayaking and snowboarding!! We like to socialise every now and then, but quiet time is good too! We like to cook most nights, but we are good at cleaning up after ourselves :) We will probably go out to friends and families places at least once a week and will spend many weekends over summer camping and enjoying the great outdoors. We ideally would like a place with an undercover carpark for Scott to park his car.
