Hi there! I'm 24-years-old, from America, and will be beginning grad school as a full-time student in February. I'll have a pretty heavy study load and will also be working part-time, so I'll probably be keeping to myself quite a bit during the week. However, I am a very social person, so it would be great to make friends with my flat mates and be able to occasionally cook or share a glass of wine together on week nights. On the weekends, I like to go out to the beaches and socialise with friends. All in all, I'm a pretty laid back person and get along with almost everyone. I'm also extremely tidy so you'll never have to worry about me leaving a mess around the house. If you think I would be a good fit for an open room in your house/flat, please do not hesitate to message me! Megan
Looking for somewhere easy going and clean to live. I like to keep fit and socialise. I would like to live in a home rather than more independent environment. I am very clean and tidy and can cook. I love dogs and I'm not allergic to cats. I'm pretty social person and like to be busy. I work full time in a technical role so I'm not really a mid week drinker but do enjoy a beer or wine or cocktails on weekends and a glass of wine most nights as I like fitness a bit, so I don't go crazy. I'm a positive, easy going person. I have lived alone and in share accommodation with either guys or girls and haven't had problems.
Heyy, I'm Laura I'm 24 from England, been in Sydney for around 8 months. Currently living with another girl but we are going separate ways due to her moving in with her boyfriend- sad times!! So looking to move around the end of December as that's when our lease is up! I'm really clean and tidy and easy to live with looking for someone who is the same and can share a cheeky wine with now and again ;). I work Tuesday to Saturday so usually pretty quiet during the week. =)
I am a 29 year old male, looking for to start a new share house. During the week am I working for a large organisation in Darling Harbour so looking for an easy commute. I'm extremely neat, tidy and consider myself a bit of a cook. Originally from Hobart, but have been in Sydney the past 4 years. During the evening I will spend my time walking my dog 'Cracker', going to the gym and occasionally doing a bit of work. I enjoy a good Netflix show, normally with a glass of wine or two. On the weekends I try and get out of the house and when I can I enjoy doing a hike, catching up with mates, watching the soccer (big Liverpool fan) or just relaxing with a good book.
I'm a clean, considerate and happy early 30s chick who works in the public service. I've spent the better part of the decade working in different cities around the world. Being easy going and respectful I am well versed with sharing and have had a fair bit of experience living in all kinds of flatshare arrangements. I enjoy living with people who are equally considerate and respectful, enjoy their own time but also like to have a laugh and glass of wine/cook-up on the odd occasion. I really like cycling and fixing bikes and spend a fair bit of time outdoors exploring.
I am an outgoing, humorous character from Orange County, California. I work full time as a retail manager in a job I've had for over two years now. I love a laugh as much as an adventure and some of my favorite things to do are downhill mountain biking, sailing, and scuba diving. I'm a very tidy person and very easy to get along with. I'm looking at a minimum six month lease for my own room in a house with either a private bathroom or an ensuite ideally. I also have a car, so a place with a parking spot or easy nearby parking is strongly preferable.
Hi, I'm Supriya. I'm a civil engineer in my twenties, working full time in the city in the financial services. I'm friendly, easy going and respectful of others. On weekends I spend time catching up with family and friends and enjoying the outdoors. I'm looking for easy going, sociable and considerate people who take pride in their home and keep it clean and tidy.
Hey there! I recently moved to Sydney. I work full-time (at Zomato) in Sydney CBD. I'm hoping to live with cool people somewhere close to the city. I'm easy going, social, clean and I'd like to believe I'm fun. Hoping to live with people who wouldn't mind an occasional beer.
I'm looking for my new home, I am a friendly and British looking for somewhere accessible to Central Sydney. I have just moved across to Sydney with work after spending the last 4 years in Auckland as a HR professional. I am sociable, outgoing and keen to live with like-minded people, equally, I am respectful of other people's privacy and enjoy time to myself. At the weekends I tend to relax, socialise and enjoy the occasional dinner and drinks.
I'm 22yrs old, supposedly will be back at uni next year, maybe not, who knows. I'm pretty happy just working at the moment so i'm not rushing back to uni just yet. I'm currently on the lease of a house near Crows Nest and I want to move closer to the city, but this means I know all the do's and dont's of housesharing - what you guys expect of subtenants and what a subtenant should expect of a tenant. I'm not super into going out but don't at all mind living with those who do. You can usually find me at work, attempting to alter/make my own clothes (with varying degrees of success), or roller skating around for some promo job (can offer roller skating lessons). I've become good friends with my housemates currently so I'm looking for a house where I can have a laugh with new friends and occassionally invite old ones around 🙂
We are looking for a room to rent in a 1 or 2 bedroom place. We both work full time and some weekends. Ideally we would like to live near Zetland, Camperdown, Rockdale, Wolli Creek, Revesby, Panania, East Hills, Holsworthy.
Hi guys, pretty standard story really! - Work in finance in a 8-6 type role Monday to Friday. - Don't mind a cheeky drink after work with a couple of friends around town - That said, I much prefer to live in a home home, rather than house - if that makes sense? :) - Don't mind cleaning up for myself and am pretty neat and tidy by nature (within reason of course) - Weekends I typically am on the hunt for whatever sports is on - either playing or watching and enjoy being quite active. Other information Personal qualities I know what it can be like to live with people who can hijack a home when they walk in at the end of the day after work! I am pretty easy going and can just as happily share a beer and BBQ with whatever is happening that night in the house, as I can watching a movie and falling asleep by 7pm! Not the sort of person to leave their stuff messily around the home, ain't nobody got time for that! Food sharing and furniture I am really not minded. To be honest I dont tend to eat at home very often but when I do i'll grab something on the way home to cook. Would usually make a point of asking whoever is around if their keen on joining me. No pets.
I'm going to be working full time and I generally like having quiet nights, although I can also be very sociable with the people I'm around. It would be great to live with people I could potentially become friends with. I love to cook and I'm very clean too.
Hello there! I am Andrew, a business development/account manager who has just moved into a different industry. The new job is CBD based so i am looking to move closer to the city - currently I am based in the hills district which means I am spending more commuting than I'd like. I used to work in FMCG so have a pretty good knowledge of bars and restaurants in Sydney. I also like music, movies, conversation, .......the usual good stuff. If you think we'd be a good fit and like to know more drop me a line. Ideally I'd like to have something locked in by the end of 2016 and preferably sooner.
Heya I'm Emily, i've recently returned from traveling around Europe and am looking for a place for the new year. I will be commencing my masters studying public health at Sydney university so ideally would like a place close to city or with good public transport access. I enjoy having chats with housemates around the kitchen with a few drinks but can also appreciate having alone time and personal space. I tend to go out with friends on weekends and attempt to keep active and enjoy the outdoors. During the week after work and study i tend to relax with some quality netflix time. As a housemate im clean, tidy and respectful. I appreciate a clean house but a few dishes arnt the type of thing to bother me.
I'm a 19 year old Australian student studying commerce at usyd, I currently live near Cronulla, but looking to move closer to the city as I will start full time work in accounting and finance in the city in February, and the commute is getting a little painful. I'm a relatively quiet, very chilled out, but sociable guy, especially after you get to know me. I like to have a few drinks and go out on weekends, but also I enjoy just chilling at home and watching Netflix and stuff, but I will also spend a fair bit of time studying, due to my full time work and study load.. I like going to the beach, going for the occasional run and being outdoors. I'm also a neat and clean guy! I'm going overseas in January for the month so putting this out in advance in the hope of perhaps having something lined up for when I get back! Feel free to message me!
I'm Katie. I'm 28 and eleven twelfths. Born in Queensland but grew up in Ireland and moved back to Sydney two years ago. Hi I'm Robbie. I'm 32. I'm a friendly, down-to-earth, easy going, super fun-loving guy with a very infectious laugh who likes to keep active, stay fit and I'm incredibly sociable. I'm still fairly new to Sydney as I only moved here from Adelaide in August this year to kick-start my career as an Architect. Up till now I've been renting a studio on my own in St. Leonards - but I'm now looking for a housemate/s to move out into either an existing place with or to team-up and find a new place to move into. Even though I'm a busy guy and I work pretty hard, I also know how to have a good time and I like to surround myself with like minded people. I like to spending a lot of time with friends and family, entertaining & dining out, checking out new bars, cafes and resteraunts, watching movies, music, cycling, the beach, swimming and formula one. If you think we would be good housemates shoot me a message or feel free to give me a call.
I have recently accepted a full-time consulting job in Sydney, so will be moving from Brisbane in early January (I start work on the 9th). I am friendly and easy-going. I enjoy keeping fit and going to the gym. I am looking for a place in inner Western Sydney that is within walking distance of public transport. A furnished bedroom would also be preferable.
Hey, my name is Peter and I would describe myself as a very career focused person who spends a lot of time on study/work. I think I am pretty social, laid back and will occasionally unwind by binging on netflix :). Enjoy study and just finished a bachelor of IT in July and considering starting masters mid sem 2017, but will see how I feel in 6 months. On 28/11 I flew from QLD to Sydney for a job in the city. Currently staying at an Airbnb property (and breaking the bank lol), so I am seeking a more suitable long term solution to help settle into Sydney and my new job :). Also love to ride motorbikes and was hoping to get my motorbike sent down from Brisbane so... If there is secure parking, a shed or somewhere out of sight to park a motorbike is a bonus!
Hey! I'm Eddie, an 25 year old easy going and happy guy from Sweden. I'm looking for a place to stay at during a few weeks in December and January! Last year I lived in Sydney, for work and internship in marketing. Now I've moved back to Sweden, and I miss Sydney a lot! I won't be at home bothering that much, I'll spend most time visiting my friends or enjoying Sydney summer. I haven't booked my flights yet, but my dates are pretty flexible. I'll stay around December 12th - January 8th. Please let me know if your room is available for a short stay around these dates! Best regards, Eddie
Hey! My name is Marina, I'm 19, work full-time at a hotel and am looking at moving out of the parents' house to a place that is either in or really close to the city for work. I like to think of myself as a cheerful, respectful, easy-going girl! I tend to get on great with a bunch of different personalities, and I like to make people laugh. I'm someone who cleans up after themselves so keeping the place clean won't be an issue! You'll often find me out and about exploring or spending quality time with close friends, and at the end of the day in a deep sleep not bothering a single soul. My work hours are somewhat demanding, so I just want to live in an area that isn't a whole hour away!
I am respectful and self-sufficient. I've lived in share houses most of my adult life and like the coexistence. While I am very independent, I like to have good relationships with my housemates - commentating while watching trash TV is so much better with company! I am a business analyst with a little media business on the side. I like to stay fit and go to the beach as much as possible. I also enjoy long brunches on the weekend.
Hi I'm Brooke and I'm a 2nd year uni student at UTS studying finance and international studies. Love to paint, stay active, drink wine/coffee, visit art galleries and I also love to cook. Always keen for a chat but respect peoples privacy Clean and tidy, will always pay rent on time. Looking for a place that feels like home and would love to move into a friendly house :)
Hi, I am Vina from Bali Indonesia. I am currently studying Tissue Engineering in Vienna, Austria, and will be coming to Sydney for a semester to do my master thesis at UNSW. I have lived abroad since I graduated high school, so I have experience living together with new people. I'm super easy to live with. I also love cooking, and trying on new recipes. I really hope I can find a nice, warm place to stay. Let me know, guys.
I work in Digital Consulting so I work a fair bit. It doesn't stop me from exercising or eating healthy which is really good. Looking for a clean respectable home. I would love keep my car safe and prefer a dedicated spot. I am easy going, and I am not a party animal. Feel free to message me! I currently live in a three bedroom apartment in Waterloo, which modern and on the top floor and has two car spaces. It is also an option to continue the lease with me.
I'm a web developer living in Newcastle with my husband and two beautiful Brittany dogs. I have recently accepted a job offer in Sydney CBD as a web dev and am looking for a place to stay mainly during week days. However, it would be great if your place is pet friendly so my dogs can come visit occasionally. I was originally from China but have been around the world, one year in Sweden, five years in New Zealand and have finally settled down in beautiful Australia two years ago. I love exploring the nature with my beloved dogs and of course with my hubby who is a mining engineer. I eat healthy food and enjoy gardening, DIY projects and programming. Love a beer or a glass of wine occasionally after work but not loud party kind of person. If you're looking for a mature, responsible and fun flatmate who's only there half of the time then we should have a chat.
Hi, I'm Joanna, 27 years old. I work a 9-5 job in the City. I'm moving up from Melbourne to Sydney for a bit of a change in scenery in January 2017! During the weekdays I like to exercise after work and chill at home or with mates. On the weekends I like going out for brunch and trying new places. I love socialising (but respectful of people's personal space too), learning new things and being adventurous! I'm looking for socialable housemates who don't mind having a chat. I'm tidy and respectful of communal areas so I expect my housemates to be the same. I want to live with people who are honest, chilled and caring. I'm happy to cook communal meals or occasionally go out as a group.
I'm a media advisor working in the CBD, currently commuting from the Blue Mountains. Looking to be closer to work, and hopefully start studying my Master's Degree. When I'm not working or studying, I enjoy yoga, Pilates and running. I'm quiet and pretty easy going and am always up for a chat over a glass of wine. I also make an excellent cup of tea.
Employed Full-Time, hard working artist. Dad to the most precious 2 year old little girl, Sunday Violet. Owner of my 4 legged best friend, Native a border collie. Currently illustrating a kids book about my dog written for my daughter! Hailing from Oklahoma / USA, but AUS is my home and has been so for 7 years now!
Hiya, I'm Katie, I work full time in social media and have lived in Sydney for two years. I love going for brunch just as much as I love making it (I can perform magic with avocados), I keep busy with friends, events, creative projects, yoga, gym and trying new things. I also appreciate a night in and like to watch TV and make dinner. As a housemate I am easygoing, generous, clean and tidy and relatively quiet. In a flatmate I like someone who is like-minded, a perfect mix of sociable and also who leads their own active life too. I'm happy to have anybody as a housemate, but these are the desirables; likes a laugh, happy to share the remote on a night in and easily coaxed into going for a late night ice cream run. And these are the essentials; kind, fair, clean and tidy.
Hi! I'm a future international student from Spain studying for one semester in the Uiversity of Sydney. Looking for a group of students to share accomodation. Friendly and tidy. I'd love to travel around and discover Asutralia.

Alright, I'm Alex, 25 years old and work in digital marketing. Originally Scottish but have been living in London for the past few years. I'm transferring through my current company to Sydney in the new year and looking for an relaxed and tidy place to stay. I'm extremely easy going and get along with pretty much everyone. It would be great to live with people I can have the occasional drink and dinner with but likewise, I'm pretty independent and happy to do my own thing so respectful of people's own space and privacy. I'm active and social and a big fan of music, film and of course, wine (pretty generic description, I know...).
My name is Sofia, I am 30 years old. I am a very neat, tidy and considerate house mate. I work full time in the CBD, I sometimes work long hours and come home late from work (sometimes I go to gym after work or out). I enjoy an active and healthy life style and the odd cheeky glass of wine. I have a pet - 4 year old Pomeranian. Looking for a short stay rental.
Hi all. I'm recently arrived from NZ. I'm a professional by day and I also write / make art etc... and do yoga as much as possible. Ideally I'm looking for a large room with a balcony but I'm primarily looking to live with people who are creative, organized and happy.
I am a university lecturer moving to Sydney from Singapore. I am a Singaporean and have lived in a couple of countries including US, Australia, and Hong Kong. I am a quiet, organized, and tidy person. Besides, I like appreciating and enjoying good things in life, including good wine, food, tea, and Jazz music. I am also a healthy person who goes to gym regularly. I love to hang out with people from different background.
I work as a Security Officer with the ACES Group, aside from my typically late work hours I keep to myself. Hobbies include martial arts (Uechiryu and a little MuayThai), TTRPGs and model painting, and gaming. I like to think I'm rather easy going when not on shift, and have no problems with smokers and pets, though I am mildly allergic to cats.
I'm friendly & like to hang out around the house. I'm also respectful of personal space and maintaining a clean living environment. I enjoy a few beers on the weekend & getting out of the house for a bite to eat or a gig.
My partner and I seem to live in the kitchen, and we love a good socialising space that centres around this. If we had to give up our blender or the tv, the blender would win hands down. We love to meet new people and are really into getting out into nature as much as possible. Walks on the beach, trail runs in the forest, pretty much anywhere we can kick off our shoes and get our feet on something other than the footpath.
Hi there! I'm Imogene, I'm 24 and moving to Sydney for Uni. I have spent ages working in hospitality in Canberra. I'm laid back and quiet but do enjoy a glass of vino or a beer in the sun. My hobbies are drawing, painting and cosplay... I'm also a bit of a comic nerd and love my sci fi :) Whovian all the way! I have lived in share houses for many years and consider myself a pretty cool housemate. I am considerate and clean up after myself, I also won't drink all your milk ( I'm lactose intolerant :P ). Feel free to get in touch with me, I hope to hear from you soon!
I'm pretty friendly and chilled, very mindful of others and would love to be friends with my flatmate, share a dinner or a few drinks every so often. I'm not a party person, but will sometimes have friends over for baking purposes (or eating of said baking) but usually pretty quiet at home. I have a wide range of interests and do enjoy spending the night on the couch watching/marathoning TV shows or movies. I've lived in different countries a fair bit so there's always something to talk about. I'm (in theory) very creative, but also a procrastinator when it comes to creating. I enjoy creative writing, my flute (sometimes), karaoke, and tasty food.
My name is Anh (pronounce Anne), 21 years old. I am from Switzerland but my background is vietnamese. I speak french, german, english and also vietnamese. Actually, I am a student here. I am studying accounting and financial. I am a tidy person and I also cook very well. I am a open-minded and humble person. I respect other's space :). I don't mind to participate in the housework as well. I am looking for a private room not too far away from the city as possible. I am looking for the 24th of Feb. 2016.
Hey! I'm Jenny and my husband Liam and I are keen for a team up! We are pretty relaxed couple, we love music and hanging out, and adventures to the beach. I work as a manager in retail and Liam is radio news journalist. We have another friend who is going to share with us, so we're looking for a fourth person! I'm starting to look at properties now, so keen to find someone to make our team complete! P.s I'm the blonde one in the picture
I'm an easy going, positive, friendly person and I would love to live with like minded people. I have lots of share house experience and am adaptable, open minded and great at compromise. I like to live in a neat space, and I love to cook. I'm addicted to my glass of wine in the evening and I'm always down for weekend shenanigans. I'm also a musician and would be occasionally playing cello/violin. I'm 25, currently living in Perth and moving to Sydney in January. I'm applying for full time jobs as a high school music teacher in the inner west, and am more than happy to work hospitality to make ends meet until that happens. Getting so excited for the move, to meet new people and to kick start this career!
Hi! I'm relocating to Sydney from Brisbane. I am a very friendly, easy going and tidy person. I don't mind going out and spending time with friends, but also enjoy my quiet time reading and watching movies. I will be working full time as a flight attendant so won't be home half the time either! I am looking to live in any of the suburbs surrounding the airport (within about 20 minutes of it!) and move date is by end of December/first of January! Don't hesitate to contact me :) Prefer to share with people between 19 and 27!
Hi there, I'm 42 and have just moved back home to Sydney for work after taking a 22y sabbatical to Bris Vegas to have my two gentlemen ! I can do the usual things you want in a housemate, even cook plus I have a funky sense of humor. I like to live in warm friendly home. Ideally I would love to have my own place, yet it could prove a little too exy esp considering I will most probably be paying for secure parking as well.... If you think I fit in your square or are willing to go outside the box and would like further info about this 5'1" pocket rocket feel free to contact me.
Hi, I'm a third-year Ph.D. student in English which means that I'll be working a lot, trying to finish my thesis, and not spending much time at home during the day. I'm originally from Switzerland and the stereotype about being punctual and tidy applies, I'm afraid, but I suppose that is not a negative when it comes to living with me. I don't know what to say in a message as brief and impersonal as this, but I've lived in a number of house-shares over the past eight years and pretty much know how to live with others and get along with them. I'm a rather calm person and spend a lot of time reading, so if you are looking for someone to party with, I might be the wrong person. Having said that, I get very excited over strange cocktails and make a great martini. Niklas
hey folks, i'm working part-time at an artisanal food distributor while i study urbanism full-time as a postgrad at sydney uni. when i'm not cooking/eating (which is most of the time), i'm swimming, rowing, at ballet, yoga, or on my bicycle somewhere in between. i come with a piano, an antique cutlery set, and a little kitchen garden in pot plants. i'm not just looking for a house, i'm looking for a home - get in touch if you're looking for the same. ich spreche übrigens deutsch:)
