Hey everyone! I'm looking for a room in the next 4 weeks around Newtown/Enmore/Surry Hills/Redfern/Erskineville/all the trendy expensive places in Sydney. I've lived in the same apartment with the same housemates for the last 4 years in Bondi but our real estate are jerks and want to raise our already overpriced rent so this is a good opportunity to get out of the Eastern Suburbs. I'm 24 and I work full time in the city and host trivia at Newtown Hotel on Monday nights. I'm pretty social so I'm not home much during the week but when I am, it would be great to share a bottle of wine or a pizza or a couple of jagerbombs. I'm really easy going and ideally looking for something long term so I can be as happy and stress free as this cool dog. Looking to pay around $300 per week. Message me if you have something available :)
I am vibrant and have a joyful personality. I work in Human Resources as a HR Manager for a government agency (just starting and leaving the construction industry) and really enjoy what I do for work. In my free time I enjoy cooking/baking, Latin dancing (teaching internationally and performing), spending time with friends, traveling the globe and trying new fun things like archery and trapeze (to name a few). I'm very sociable, but after long days in the office I can be a bit of a "grandma" and pretty much eat, shower and go straight to bed. *yawn* I don't mind chatting over a wine or two and can also appreciate when people need their space. I'm fairly clean - and my only vice would be that it may take me a day or two to put away my washing basket (which would be beside my bed in my room). I'm not one to leave dishes in the sink and I avidly clean the the house and bathroom on a weekly/fortnightly basis.
Open minded musician who loves to socialise and have a chat. Very hard working freelance audio engineer and musician aswell as a hospitality worker. Lived in share houses for around 4 years between the northern rivers and Sydney and am always down for a beer and new experiences. Also i am not looking for room share and will no consider it so don't message me if that's what you are offering. Cheers
Friendly french couple who just want to live with other flatmates as part of the family. We really love animals, so it will be a big value for us if we can adopt a pet rescue in our new home. I'm working in a media agency and Robin is working as a concretor. We love cooking, sharing a dinner.
Hii! I'm a Dutchie, working full time in the Real Estate sector (where I'm sponsered!:)) . Love being active, healthy and positive. I'm currently living in Erskinville, but have to move before the end of November. It would be wonderful to live in a light open place with a garden or balcony. I prefer a studio for myself as I'm very neat & tidy and need some 'me-time'', but if you're a likeminded person, let me know!:)
My name is Campbell I am 29 years old and from Scotland. I currently work as a rope access technician which basically means I hang off the side of large buildings(abseiling). I am going to be settling here in Sydney and need to find a nice place to stay. To describe myself I can definitely say I'm a happy laidback kind of guy, I enjoy socialising and trying new activities, playing guitar, outdoors, lots of music and gigs. I can say for sure I'm looking for a active summer, getting out and about, camping extra. I would hope to live with easy going people who can get some humour with time to time.
I'm moving to Sydney from Perth for a full time position in the CBD in a few weeks and need a new place to call home! Being new and all to the city, I'll probably be spending most of my weekends out exploring the city and surrounds. I'm generally pretty clean and like to keep things neat and tidy. Would ideally like to move into a partly furnished place with the basics and I can buy my own bed, but also open to a fully furnished room.
im a fun bubbly english girl. i work as a recruitment consultant out of the city and really enjoy my job. in my spare time i adore to spend time with my closest friends and make new ones. love to cook and find cleaning therapeutic!!!
Non smoking, clean, easy going carpenter. Originally from Adelaide in South Australia. Enjoy surfing, exercise, reading, cooking, camping. Dont mind having a laugh and a few drinks but definitely not a full time drongo.
Hey Hey! I'm a Canadian Artist living in Sydney and working in marketing. I am easy going and work a lot. I like to go to the pub, beach, read a good book and laugh with friends. I laugh a lot. I love to cook and I love to share! Look forward to meeting you and cheating over a glass of wine or three.
Hey potential roomie! I'm a graphic designer from Queensland, and I've been in Sydney since December living in Erskineville. I love the area but I'm ready for a move and I'm happy to live anywhere. I work in Surry Hills near Museum station so anywhere close to the trains will be great for me! I'm bubbly and outgoing, as well as extremely clean and considerate of other peoples' space and privacy. I would like to live with people who have the same values and will pull their weight around the house with cleaning. I'm extremely house proud and would suit living with someone with the same ideals. Ideally I'd love my own bathroom after previous bad experiences with sharing. I work out everyday at 6am, so ideally I'd love to live within walking distance of an F45 gym. I'm not a party animal, but I'd love to share with someone who likes to have fun and will have a wine or two with me on occasion! I work out everyday and live a healthy lifestyle, I also love to cook, travel and be creative.
Hi :) I work in fashion retail where I get solid 30 hour weeks. It's a stable working position and I'm happy to provide any documents you need :) I'm super chill, love a good laugh and not overly pedantic around the house. I respect all common places and keep my own living area super clean. I'd like to think I'm diplomatic about things, so you won't expect me to leave passive notes on your door haha. I also love my quiet time but NOT a hermit - I do enjoy those family vibes over Netflix and dinner. Top preference for areas would be MARRICKVILLE but I'd be happy with the suburbs below too! - Redfern - Camperdown - Glebe - Alexandria - Erskinville **No shared rooms, sorry **Preferably long term lease, 6 months - 1 year + .Will consider being included in the lease if both parties are happy. Hit me up if you think I'd be a good fit, always open to meet new people! NB: Please only message me via the site or email :)
I am currently working full time as an interior/graphic designer at a firm in Redfern, and Georgia works full time in PR/marketing at a men's fashion company in Botany. We're both pretty chilled, approachable and friendly and looking for a place we can settle into long term. We have lived together in a share house previously and we are tidy and responsible; good to have a glass of wine with but also respectful of personal space. Ideally we're looking for likeminded creativeish people to create a home with! We're looking to either team up with people to go in on a lease with us, or to find an existing share house with two free rooms to be filled. Both of our max budgets are $230/week. Happy to team up with couples also! If you're interested contact me! Thanks Em
I am a 22 year-old female fulltime professional who loves a glass or three of wine over dinner when i'm home from work. I do love to party on the weekends so living with a fairly sociable housemate who is also a fulltime working professional would be ideal. I am slightly OCD about cleanliness but i'm extremely friendly and easy to get along with. My friends refer to me as the "mother" of the group because I am always taking care of others, and my educational background in psychology makes me a very good listener! I was on a dance scholarship in high school so I love to pump music on the weekends and have a boogie. I studied a B of Science at Sydney Uni so I am well educated, and I am planning to commence a master's degree in HR management in about 1.5 years. I do need my 'alone time' so I will never be too in your hair and I am extremely respectful of others' personal space and privacy. I bond quickly with people, love late night chats but would also appreciate little noise being made at night time :) Hit me up on if I am not able to contact you!
Hello! I'm a 43 year old British male looking for a place to live in the inner west area of Sydney. I work (full time) as a web developer in the city. When I'm not working, I enjoy brewing beer (really good beer!), photography, playing the banjo and am a keen cyclist. I've been living in various shared places for a while now and am respectful of other people's property and spaces, and an easy going flat mate. Cheers! Alastair

I would be gone for work every working day approx. 9 to 6, and I dance twice a week. I love animals, I wouldn't mind cats or other pets in the house :) Nationality: Italian. I speak Dutch and some Spanish Rent budget: 180-190max inclusive of all bills and internet Move-in date: in 1 to 2 weeks starting from the inspection date Location: as I work close to central station, I need a place not farther away than 30min by train. Hi , My name is Kariele, I'm from Venezuela, an amazing country located in South America. I consider myself quite young and very mature. I'm moving from London to Sydney to continue with my studies in Digital Media Technologies. I really love what I'm doing. I consider myself as a very responsible, neat, friendly and easy going. I hope these lines were enough to get an idea of my personality and profile. I hope hearing from you soon. Many thanks in advance! Kind regards,
Looking for a place 30min away max from central. Been living with same housemate for 5 years.we get on really well but his job is out west and I don't enjoy the west a lot. I work in the city and spend my free time near the city so makes sense for me to move closer. Not in a rush, prefer to find a long term place and hopefully move to a place where I can have a place to stay and make new friends I can be a messy person in my own private room but very neat & considerate when it comes to shared space. (P.S: messy is not dirty...the 2 are quite different) Thank you for reading my profile.
Hello potential roommate(s). My name is Taila, I am 25 and work your normal 9-5 gig in the CBD. I'm looking for a private, preferably furnished room in the Newtown(ish) area. I've rented for several years, have a squeaky clean rental history and I know how to cook/clean/pay rent on time/generally succeed at being an adult. I'm not the party type, with that said though, I'm not about to turn down a cheeky beer or glass of wine on a Friday night. I'm pretty relaxed, I won't lose my shit over a fork being left in the sink and I couldn't care less if you were staging a giant gang-bang in your bedroom; as long as communal areas are tidy and everyone chips in, I'm a happy customer. I also welcome the idea of having mates over, bring them, I have Cards Against Humanity; just no Project X level shit on a Wednesday night. I'm a pretty big music nut (Triple J for life), I think anything Ricky Gervais touches is gold, I love documentaries, Louis Theroux, binge-watching Parks & Recreation and eating delicious Asian food. My dream roommate is someone I can sit on the couch with and giggle at all the weirdos I find on tinder.
Hi guys. My amazing 3.5 month trip through South America has come to an end and now it's time to find a humble abode to call home. I land back in Sydney on the 27th October and I have awesome friends that have offered to put me up until I find a place. I'm a super chilled 32 year old guy, I work in sales for a small group adventure travel company, I travel interstate a couple of times a month for work and I will probably start to pick up a few shifts at a bottle shop to help pay off some of my credit card debt. Between all of this, I have a girlfriend that lives on the northshore, I gym, l enjoy going out for meals with friends and I love to hit the beach or go on bush walks over the weekends. When I'm home, I love to chill out with a glass of wine, a few beers, a doobie and chew the fat with my fellow flatmates. I have a car so on street parking at the least is a must. If there is no parking or if I have to drive around the neighbourhood for half an hour to find parking, your place isn't for me. My girlfriend may stay on occasions but I'm respectful to my housemates and understand she is not contributing to the household rent. Maybe she may stay one or two nights max but she is cool and also loves wine. I've been flat sharing for over 10 years now. A good flat mate in my opinion is someone chilled, clean, respectful, reliable and happy to clean after themselves. Ideally you would not be highly strung, happy to share a bottle of wine on a weekend and if you're into cricket, perfect. Some of my best friends currently have been ex flatmates. Thanks guys!!! #### PLEASE NOTE I AM CURRENTLY OVERSEAS UNTIL THURSDAY NIGHT 27th OCT AND I CURRENTLY DONT HAVE A MOBILE NUMBER ####
Hey! I'm a graphic designer, looking to move somewhere inner-city / inner-west Sydney. Currently living in Canterbury, I grew up around Kogarah and have also lived out west and up north of Sydney. My lease is about to end and I want some good old fashioned change. I keep it clean and tidy & am super chill. I can keep to myself but I also like just hanging out. I love reading, writing, travel, movies, videogames, comedy, arty stuff & a good drink! Let's make this the best sitcom ever.
Hi there! I'm Dave, sports fanatic and pro BBQ'er. I'm a social guy looking for a cool place to live. I take pride in keeping public spaces tidy, I enjoy a cook up and beers in the living room.
Hello! I'm a kiwi guy who has just transferred to Sydney for work. Looking for a friendly bunch to move in with. I work in banking, and enjoy running and swimming. I commute to the CBD so open to pretty much anywhere that's near a train station. Please drop me a message if you think I might fit the bill!
I'm Joe, 38 years, I am a visiting fellow from Taiwan and work full-time as a postdoctoral researcher at a university. Usually, writing and reading occupy my weekdays. I would love to explore good coffee in Sydney on weekends.
Hi all, I'm a 21 year old Dutch guy, who is looking for a room until the beginning of December. I am easy going and always in for a good chat and a drink, and a party in the weekends. Cheers!
Looking to have a home with the people who I would get along with. I am friendly, laid back and easy going, love sports and movies and a glass of wine every now and then. I work as a Project Manager in newtown and am wanting to start a new flatshare with like minded people
I'm currently living in the Hunter and commuting to my job on York St as an Office Manager of an insurance brokerage and law firm...every day. I'm 27, and obviously having grown up in the Hunter love a glass of wine. I'm not a huge party animal but am fairly sociable. I have just as many male friends as I do female and really just need someone who's considerate and preferably a professional. Ideally, I'd like to move during the first two weeks of November. I currently have a house full of furniture and appliances so if you've a housemate moving out and taking essential furniture items I can likely replace them. My older brother has just moved back after a decade in the U.K. so he's happy to take whatever I don't need. I am coeliac and have other allergies so prefer to prepare my own meals...but enjoy cooking so if you don't mind a bit of gluten free perhaps we can share meals occasionally.
I'm looking for a room in a house/flat with social and considerate housemates. I'm easy-going, social and considerate. I work full time in the CBD. I like traveling, reading, philosophy, arts, films, current affairs, etc. During my free time, I like catching up with friends and trying new restaurants, bars and cafes. Please get in touch if you have a room in my preferred areas or would like to team up to rent a house.
Seeking one other to search for, and settle into a home-share situation. An IT professional working in the finance and insurance industry. I enjoy my music, cooking, keeping social, staying healthy and I dabble in a little piano, sax, and other instruments. At the gym most nights and prefer to prepare meals and eat at home. Clean and tidy. I rely on trains to get me to and from work, so a stone throw away from a train station would be perfect. Owner of a 10yr old cat. Enjoy all aspects of a social home, visits from friends, the odd dinner/BBQ at home etc... I'm Just not after a party house. Be great to find a modern light filled and airy home offering plenty of space with our own bathrooms, a decent kitchen and modern conveniences. Keen to meet someone seeking similar. Touch base with me and let's start a conversation.
Hi! I am a 32 year old professional female working in HR within the banking industry. After 8 years of harmoniuos house sharing as a single, I moved in with the ex and it really did not work out well so looking for a great home with cool flatmates to go back to my GoT binging and socialising weekends. I'm open minded and am seeking a comfortable, relaxed and functioning environment. I am respectful of other people's boundaries, friendly and grew up in a strict South American household so I am neat and always pick up after myself because I'm sure my mum would find out somehow if I didnt! Looking for a bedroom with wardrobe space (fair bit) and own bathroom, I don't drive so no need for a carspace. I work during the week, sometimes long hours and I tend to be pretty lowkey on school nights. On the weekends I am usually out and about. I cook but very sparodically and don't even sit to eat until I've cleaned the kitchen up usually. My move date is flexible as I am camping out at my parents' having my laundry done for me, so I am quite comfortable to wait until suitable move dates are organised.
Hi! I'm Johann, I'm 24 years old and have just arrived from Paris. I'm looking for a spare room that I can stay long-term and call home, preferably in Surry Hills. I would totally consider Darlinghurst, Redfern, Bondi Beach, Manly, Newtown or Erskinville though :) My budget is about $350pw (does not matter if bills are included or not). I just moved in Sydney and I am a working professional full-time (9-5 or more) in the CBD as a transaction consultant for Ernst & Young. I like to have a glass of wine in the evenings and am always up for a chat or Netflix. Please PM me if you have a spare room available, as soon as possible. Thanks! :)

Working full-time as a campaigner for a progressive NGO. Sharehouse-trained – ie. clean mess if I make it, replenish the loo roll, take out the trash, pay bills on time etc. While I love a good party, I'm not looking for a 'party house'. I'm a non-smoker, vego (but not fussed if others eat meat), and LGBTIQ friendly. Want more than a place to sleep, so would to find people who are happy to share a meal, drink, or even a Netflix binge every now and then :)
I'm a chef working full time but I'm training really hard to lose weight and get fit so I can be a firefighter. I love snowboarding and Ufc and don't mind a drink or two every now and again

I am 37 and moved to Sydney for work mid year. I am also quiet, considerate and a big animal lover. I work in an office full time near the city as an architect and sometimes I work late nights. I am looking for a place where I can be around nice people after work hours and have a decent nights sleep during the week. I don't drink or smoke and I am also vegan, but I am certainly not overbearing about it. I love to draw and paint, I try to get out on the weekends to yoga, anything to do with the arts and to food markets. I am looking for a place to live long term with nice people. I also like to keep clean and tidy and respect the personal space of the people I live with.

Clean and tidy Primary School Teacher. I will be either teaching casual or full-time in the new year, and over the Christmas break I will be nannying/ babysitting. I appreciate my quiet time but I also love a chat. I love reading, art and chilling out watching a movie. I have a very loved and spoilt lop ear bunny rabbit, she is in a cage up off the ground, very clean and she is also toilet trained to go in a litter tray (like a cat).... yes I know this sounds hilarious but it's true! I get along well with everyone, however I am not interested in sharing a living in environment with people who smoke, as I really can't stand the smell! Looking to sign a lease for between 3-12 months (depending on the place and the situation).

I'll keep a tidy house and respect your privacy and lifestyle. I am very easy going and flexible so i don't mind adapting to your way of life. We're both 23, from the UK, currently in Aus on a WH Visa (hoping to stay longer). We both have FT jobs, I'm a Mental Health Nurse and Ross works in Recruitment. Although we work hard, we definitely work to live, not the other way round! Friends are very important to us and we love to socialize and have a laugh when we can. Generally, we are very friendly, open-minded and laid-back people who value honestly and genuineness in others. It's important for us to live in a clean and tidy space so we would get along with housemates who are similar. We LOVE to travel, we've done Europe and some of Aus at the mo, but we're definitely not finished. We both love food, well, I love to cook and Ross loves to eat, haha. We're also into Surfing (still learning!) and we love having a boogie at the weekends to some funky music.
Hi I'm Ronan, I'm a Sydney native that has lived overseas, but now lives and works in Sydney as a coffee roaster. I'm at work Monday to Friday 7 to 4. I am a California Beach Lifeguard studying abroad from SDSU to UTS. I can't wait to experience Sydney and it would be great to find a place to live where I can really explore the city. I'm not home to much because I'll probably be in the library or at the beach. I also love to cook and live in a safe/clean environment.
Just looking for a sublet (preferably furnished) for about 2 months (somewhere between now and 6 december) its just me and my indoor kitty, were very quiet clean and friendly. looking somewhere around newtown/glebe area.
Hi there :) I am 18 year old girl looking for a room around Bondi, Newtown or those surrounding areas. I work nights full-time in the city so I will be gone or sleeping at a lot of the time. I'm a generally pretty quiet and person and enjoy keeping my spaces clean. I would prefer to live with other girls. Message me if I sound like your ideal room mate!
