Hi I'm Lauren, a Sydney local looking for a place a bit closer to the city. Missing the hustle and bustle after returning to the Sutherland Shire from being in London for two years. Looking to move with my half English, half Dutch boyfriend who just returned from doing his 88 days of regional farm work for his 2nd year visa. I work in the CBD at a law firm (but not a lawyer), slaving away from 9 to 5 as you do. Boyfriend is currently looking for a job in Sydney. We both enjoy an active lifestyle and are both looking to widen our social circles in Sydney. We've got a car for road trips and days out and would welcome any flatmates who wanted to join us. We're both pretty easy going, clean but not clean freaks and are looking for a place long-term.
Well, I may as well use the prompts provided; I'm a barista, I love to read and write, and I'm from Adelaide although I have lived in Sydney for over 15 years. I'm looking for a decent sized room that'll accomodate a desk, a bookshelf, and a queen sized bed. I also hope to find a place that is already furnished with a washing machine, otherwise I'm pretty flexible. So, what makes me great to live with? Well, I honestly think I'm a genuinely nice person. I'm polite and kind and never make a point to seek conflict. I clean up after myself - you won't have to worry about fights when it comes to washing dishes - and I don't make it a habit of blasting music. I enjoy cooking and I'm not half-bad at it, so if you're looking to save money on takeaway food then I'm your guy. I love to laugh and I'm always willing to have a joke. I almost never drink alcohol so I won't be making a ruckus due to being drunk. Anyways, I think I've made this long enough as it is, feel free to contact me with any questions or offers you have. I will respond quicker on mobile, but I will do my best to respond daily on this website, thanks!
Hey! I’m from Wollongong but looking at moving to the city to be closer to work. I graduated uni last year after studying Computer Science and now work full time in the area of digital marketing. I enjoy checking out new cafes, live music, going out for drinks occasionally and meeting new people. I also like my own space and spending time outdoors in the sunshine! I am a clean and tidy person without being over the top. Looking for flatmates who enjoy similar things! :)
Hi there, in October I'll be finishing my PhD at UQ in Brisbane and moving to Sydney for a couple of months to work on a research project at UTS. I am currently looking for a room to stay in during that time (and hopefully somewhere near the campus!) . Get in touch if you can help!
Hello! I'm looking to meet one other housemate or to team-up with someone who is also looking for a two bedroom place to lease for 6-12 months. I'm flexible with the move-in date. I prefer the convenience and the easy commute to the city that Mascot/Erskineville offers (also considering beautiful brand new 2 bed apartments available there for around $750pw). About me: I work for a federal government department near Central Station in Surry Hills (standard 9-5hours). I'm sociable and loves a chat over a drink and to brunch out on the weekends. I'm very considerate and respects privacy. I love a clean, homely-home. I own minimal furniture so open to you bringing your own or to purchase as needed. Get in touch if this sounds like you!
Hello, I’m Leanne. Originally from Scotland and been living in Sydney for the past 6 months, after a few years back home as I have dual citizenship. Love to travel and meet new people. Currently working full time at a recruitment company in the city. I enjoy socialising, reading and the odd glass of wine! Would make a fantastic flatmate as I’m clean, tidy and fun ☺️
Open-minded, peaceful and healthy, professional women. I have just started a new full time job in Sydney. This is Big move for myself and my partner from regional NSW. We are looking for open-minded (🏳️🌈) accommodation that is pet friendly with room for 1 house-trained dog and 2 house trained cats - yes, we know it's a big ask, but this isour family. Bec is a Health Practitioner, who loves having quiet time and space to herself, yet enjoys a happy banter over a glass of wine. Jo works in the television industry, and also enjoys the above, as well as learning her ukelele, and listening to music. We are very environmentally conscious, enjoy watching Netflix, exercising and practicing meditation and yoga from home. We enjoy utilizing the kitchen, so a good cooking space is essential. We are not interested in a party house at all, those days are long gone! Just other peaceful, professional people, would be ideal. Feel free to message me to ask anything I haven’t covered.
This is Joe here, 32 years of age, originally from India. It's been only five months for me in Australia. I am a full time employee working for an IT firm on a 9-5 basis from Mon-Fri. Digital Marketer by profession, sports enthusiast by passion. During the week, I like chilling at home or with friends and on weekends I like socialising and meet fun loving and like minded people. I am an Easy going, friendly, fun-loving, open-minded, respectful kinda person, who is looking for a place to stay that feels like home. I am happy to have a chat over a glass of wine or share a meal every now & then. At the same time, I respect your privacy and expecting it likewise too.
Hey hey future roomies! My name is Kurtis and my partner Avishka and I are looking to move house! I am just in Redfern at the moment but have also lived in Rozelle with Avi living in Ryde. I am currently studying my Master of Architecture at UNSW and Avi has just finished his degree in Commerce. We are both 23, love a cheeky wine, and just to chill about. Avi loves to eat and loves to cook, so if you’re really lucky he might cook a family meal. We are both a lot of fun and are very respectful guys. We like to keep fit and explore Sydney on the weekends. And love to binge watch movies and/or Netflix. We have been together for and year and a half, and I have lived in share houses for the last two. We are both familiar with living with people and get along with almost anyone. I should mention we are also both working and I actually work away for three days a week so lucky you (you get to have Avi all to yourself for half the week). Avi is in customer care so will know how to take care of any future roomie, and I work in an architecture firm. We would love to come and meet up, for a drink or two, and get to know you a bit more. We are both super keen to make a move looking to move within the next few weeks. Hopefully we are a great fit.
Couple seeking a friendly houseshare - ideally an ensuite room. A little about me (Christiana)... I'm an itinerant Economist - originally from the US (don't hold it against me), I then spent 8 years living in the UK before moving to Sydney. I work hard during the week, but love relaxing with a book and / or strum of the acoustic guitar. On the weekends I tend to be out and about for beaches, hikes, dinners and drinks. My wonderful other half is named Banjo (yes, his real name - I was so delighted by it I agreed to marry him). He works in consulting and is an expert in emergency management so you can be sure all the fire detectors in the flat have been tested. He loves terrible puns, good coffee and even better wine - all of which appear frequently in our house! In terms of a houseshare, we like to keep things tidy but welcoming. We're fairly quiet during the week but up for hosting the occasional dinner or roof BBQ at the weekend. Please get in touch if you think we'd be a good fit for your home =)
Hello! My name is Evan I am 28 and working in waste and recycling. I am environmentally and socially passionate, kind, easygoing and sociable. I am seeking a short term stay for my last 6 weeks in Sydney before I move back to Perth. I love walking around the inner west, eating lovely food and good company. I enjoy housemates who are sociable, but I am also most respectful of others’ space and enjoy my own company from time to time as well.
I'm an accountant and work in the city full time. I'm normally home after work 3 out of the 5 weeknights, and try go to the gym in the mornings meaning I would leave around 5.30-6am weekdays. On the weekends I like to try to be out and about being active or social as much as possible, but do appreciate the occasional lazy day at home. I'm tidy and easy going, and I'm looking for a flatmate/flatmates who I can become friends with, but we can keep to ourselves when we want to. Please message if you think I could be a good fit for your place. Otherwise happy to team up and look for a suitable place with someone :)
