Hello, I am a new PhD student at University of Sydney. I'm 28 years old. I have received University of Sydney International Scholarship to study PhD in communication engineering. I've done the master degree in USA after receiving a scholarship too. With that said, I am a totally academic person. However, I like to watch movies, play video games, and do different kinds of sports. Originally, I am from middle east. I am looking for a shared place that is relatively not far from University of Sydney, nice, and relatively inexpensive. On weekends, I like to have fun and experience special activities of Sydney, such as surfing, in order to recover from the hard study. I want to share a place with good, respectful, and clean person. I've been taught that treating people nicely is a top priority. I don't like to be rude and I don't like rude people. I like having a laugh with people and not taking each other too seriously. In business days, I spend most of the day on campus.
Hi, My name's Ulas and I'm an engineer from Turkey. I just moved to Sydney and I have PR, so the plan is to stay permanently. I'm very easygoing and good for a drink/chat here and then. My interests are sports and movies. I don't have a job at the moment but when I find one, I'll most likely be spending my time at the gym after work. If you have anything on your mind please ask.
I am Inez, I have recently moved up to Sydney from Melbourne for a work project. I am a 21 year old working full time in Darlinghurst and would like to find a place closer to the city for the commute to be a little shorter since I work long hours. I am a friendly and bubbly person who attempts to win people over with cooking gigantic amounts of food and terribly delivered dad jokes. I am a very social person, and I would adore being in a social house where we could share a drink or a meal on occasion. However, I also understand and respect personal space and can be quiet and respectful. I do not drive so accessible public transport is a high priority of mine. I have been meaning to explore more of Sydney and so far I have been going to a lot of gigs, bookstores, I read a lot, as well as lots of art galleries and finding solace in a good beer garden. I would hope that I can move in as soon as possible and if anyone would want to have this groovy lady as a housemate feel free to shoot me a message. I also promise to make you cups of tea and sing alternating vocals of Bohemian Rhapsody with you if you ever need it, or just having a bad day :)
Kiwi girl, moved to Sydney in 2008. I have 2 rescue cats aged 3, brother and sister. Indoor, fully house trained and beautiful friendly cuddly nature. Lived in Newtown in a studio for 3.5 years but now want to set up new flat. Love food, movies, wine, a good book... all the usual stuff. Clean, tidy and want a home, a flat mate who enjoys flat time but equally own time. Smoke but never inside and not a lot, more social
Hi guys, I'm a 24-year-old country gal (born and bred) looking to move back to Sydney after 19 months in the UK/Europe. I am currently working part time as a receptionist in Surry Hills, and will commence my studies (Masters in Social Work) in May. I am a social butterfly, and love to meet and mix with new people, but also appreciate my own quiet space, and much needed me time. Naturally, I am looking for a place that balances the work hard, play hard philosophy with a some great, open minded people.
I'm a 25 year old bloke, born and raised in Belgium. While I love my home country, I've done my studies in the Netherlands (it's great, they've got the best wishes) and I'm currently getting my master's degree in Physics. I'll be doing an internship at UNSW from March until the end of May. People say I'm easy going, positive-minded and enthusiastic. I'm a strong believer that food brings people together so I love to cook at home and share drinks in the evenings. I'm addicted to caffeine and snoozing and I'm madly in love with gin and spicy food. I'm also a big fan of music and like to dance and have the occasional party.
I'm a 25 y/o Australian working full time as a software developer in the CBD 9-5. I'm looking for a place with friendly people who like to hang out occasionally, but are also willing to give each other some space. Everyone should be willing to clean up after themselves and be considerate of the other housemates. I'm a quiet easy-going guy, I'm reasonably clean / tidy and I occasionally cook. I enjoy a drink or two with a few friends. I love films, rock climbing and sailing.
I'm starting uni at USYD and looking to live in a sharehouse with other students or people around my age, also keen to join up to start a new share house. I'm looking around the inner west, not fussy about the condition of the place but just want somewhere chilled out & social.
Relaxed and easy going, a clean and respectful housemate. I enjoy a beer or wine, friendly and like to socialise. On the weekends I like to get outdoors and explore, heading to the beach or keeping fit with a good walk or run. I also love to travel. Recently returned from living and working overseas. Looking for a share house with easy going room mates and to call a place home. Work full-time in Sydney in IT.
Hi potential housemates! I'm a easy going young professional, down to earth individual who is about to make the move up to SYD for work. A non-smoker, super friendly, clean and tidy, optimistic and a fantastic spider-handler if the need arises! Besides myself, I have a handsome, super-chill, 7 year old husky boy and Gigi the kitten, who will be joining me on the move up so pets allowed is a must. Looking forward to hearing from you if you think we fit what you're after.
Hi there, The lease ended at my last house and I'm currently looking for a new place to call home. I'm looking either for a room to rent or looking to start a little group and search for a place together. I love to live with people I can call friends and people I can share a cooked dinner and drink or two with during the week. I'm very easy going, tidy up after myself, love to cook and feed others and enjoy a boogie here and there. I have a flexible move in date and I am looking for something more long term but can easily work with short term. If this is something similar to what you're looking for! Shoot me a message! Jen
Hi all, I am currently working full time close to the heart of the city so I am keen to move in a little closer at least for the next 3 to 6 months while I look at plans to make the move a little more permanent. I am easy going, respectful and clean and prefer to relax with a book, Netflix or gaming and prefer a relaxed/chill atmosphere. I am keen to find a social household to help open up my social circles a little and certainly wouldn't say no to doing things as a household or trips down to the pub. 3-4 people total in the household seems like a comfortable amount. While I am a smoker, it is more of a social thing and something I tend not to do on a day to day basis or while at home. I am also able to move ASAP, but there is no rush in needing to move.
Hi, I'm Malthe, 23 yrs old international student out of Denmark who's going to attend The University of Sydney during semester 1, 2017. I've barely arrived and I already enjoy my stay immensely - now I hope to find a nice place to call my home for the semester (i.e. from ASAP to late Juli/early August). Preferably fairly close yo USyd, but a bit of distance won't be a problem to me. I'm a likeable and outgoing person and I have my feet securely planted on the ground, to put it short I'm easy-going and flexible when it comes to how much contact to have with flatmates. I like being social, cooking together or the like, but I do respect a closed door, as I myself from time to time need some alone time. I'm orderly and neat, having lived with my girlfriend and other flatmates away from home for three years I'm used to taking care of a household, though I'm by far not a prune. I like going out for drinks once in a while but I respect it if my flatmates need a quiet evening. Btw I cook a mean curry! All in all, I'm the kind of person who can pretty much blend into any household. Back home I study full-time at Aarhus University. I study Digital Design and I'm really interested in the way so-called digital artifacts shape our reality, and how designers should be concerned with finding a sweet-spot between aesthetic quality and pragmatic usability (I like to call this 'technopoetic design'), but I figure we'll talk a lot more about that once we meet in real life ;)
Hey guys! I'm currently working full-time on the South Coast and looking to move to Sydney around late Feb - early March. I'm an easy going, pretty chilled quiet guy although I love getting to know new people and can pretty much get along with anyone! I love cooking, going out on the occasional weekend for a few drinks with friends but also love quiet nights during the week and relaxing after work, so if you think we'd get along just shoot me a message! :)
I'm a Canberra born and bred pharmacy student at the University of Sydney who's ready to leave the nest that is student accommodation! I love to keep common areas and my room tidy and clean, but I'm far from being OCD. I love to go out on the weekends, but always feel the need to be on top of my uni work during the week. I love having a chat and chill, but appreciate alone time every now and again. I'm vegan, but not the annoying kind (yes, we exist!). If you're part of a pet-friendly household, I also have a particularly gorgeous ragdoll I'm waiting to have move up to Sydney with me at some point. If this doesn't suit, it's absolutely no issue. I also work at a pharmacy on King St every Saturday. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or just want to get to know me a little better!
Hello, My name is Sireshen. I have been living in Sydney for 1 year, after being 16 years in New Zealand. I am a nursing student, and I have just being offered a job in mental health. I believe I am compassionate, clean, honest, tidy, non-judgemental, reliable, friendly, and trustworthy. I am looking to share a home with a person/s who share similar values! I am relatively quiet, and my interests are mainly to do with philosophy, psychology, and listening to music. I don't use social media! Thank you.
I'm a professional single female. Working full time and studying my Master degree. I'm not a party animal, and and friendly and helpful but enjoy my privacy and respecting yours. I'm clean, responsible and know how to "adult". Ideally want to share with one person, professional and respectful.
Looking for a furnished place to move into ASAP for six months plus. Would prefer my own bathroom (or shared with one other). Non-smoker and would prefer to live with other non-smokers. Animal lover (especially cats) but not bringing any with me. Would prefer an all female flat, or a mix of girls and guys. Please don't contact me for shared rooms, living rooms or rooms split with dividers. I'm 27 years old, working in digital advertising full time and just finished my masters last year. I work in Pyrmont so ideally looking for something within walking distance or close to the light rail or a train station (would consider paying more if I could walk to work). I'm very chilled and sociable, but also like my downtime and respect other's space. I like quiet nights in watching a movie, drawing or learning a new language (I speak six). I also enjoy swimming and trying new cuisines. Bonuses include that I'm first aid certified and am also trained in mental health first aid as I used to be an RA, so I'm great if you need a shoulder to lean on. Things I appreciate in a flatmate are cleanliness, respectful in regard to noise levels and just generally friendly. I've lived in a variety of situations including on my own, in a number of flats with singles and with couples and in a dormitory. Happy to provide references from previous places if requested.
Hi Jan! My name is Jorge (George), I'm a Spanish guy who will spend one year studying and working in Sydney.
I am a responsible, respectful, mindful, neat & tidy, social person. I am aware of giving people their private space too. I am independent and I moved to Sydney from Byron Bay for work. I am a professional working in the Humanatarian sector, located in the CBD. (Normal working hours). I am into health and fitness, yoga, walking, love my coffee, dinning out and travelling. As you would expect there is a lot more about me, send me a message, as I am very approachable, down to earth and have a sense of humour! (Non smoker/Not a party animal).
Irish couple living in Australia for the past 6 months. Both fairly chilled out. We are usually pretty quiet during the working week but are up for a bit of fun at the weekends. Clean and friendly to live with.
Hey there potential roomies! My name is Kris, 22 years old and working for a recruitment agency in the CBD full time. I am a responsible, neat, quirky, kind person who is looking to share a home with like minded individuals. I love people and am interested in everything from deep political discussions, pondering the state of the universe to where you got those dope shoes from, Im flexible, open minded and 100% down with peeps from different social backgrounds, cultures, LGBQT, Children, Animals, Aliens, Fairies and misc. I have a cat Zizi Tops, she is fully house trained and awesome (She was raised with dogs so she has developed a bizarre personality) but you don't have to take my word for it, I have references from everyone I live with in regards to her temperament, I actually think people like her more than me.. I also drink wine and play guitar and would love to meet you!.. K.
Hey I am Kat and I'm a 25y/o from London. I have been living in Sydney for about 6 months now and am working as contracts administrator for pharmaceutical company. I am an easy going, fun, sociable person as well as clean and tidy. I am interested in an active lifestyle so am out and about on weekends or going out drinks/dinner but also love a quiet one in for a movie night. Tend to keep keep it chilled during the week too. I also like to travel a lot and love animals. Looking for like-minded flate mates in flat/house with private room available:)
I'm an Aussie-asian born and from Perth. Recently moved to Sydney and looking for long term stay with my bf, Andrew. Im a person with cultural upbringing meaning I'm all about being clean and fairly neat. I will make it easy and save you from reading a essay; I describe myself being creative & social as well as interest into yoga, fitness and outdoor activities. Andrew, bloke from Geelong, is a graphic designer. He's not a strong character so you will never get sick of him :). Think of him as a chilled aussie, barely complains and not fussy. We are looking for a private room in a shared house/flat with mates who enjoys casual drinks over dinner, sociable, clean and easy going. Staying 9 months plus further extension.
Hey there! I'm Annie from London, a working professional. I work in PR and new to Sydney, moved here in October after travelling around Asia, NZ and Australia. I'm easy going, sociable, friendly and respectful of others. I'm clean and tidy. I do my own things during the week and have my downtime but open to having a glass of wine from time to time after a hard day at work or brunch at the weekend.
Hi my name is Amany. I work as a Crisis support worker for the Salvation Army. I'm also undertaking my Masters in Psychology and Addiction. I'm quite but very sociable. Tidy and loves the odd flat mates dinner. New to this country so please show me around!! Awesome, Hope to hear soon. Amany
I'm from London, have worked in Sydney for just 3 months now and am looking for a nice friendly house share. I'm relaxed, respectful, enjoy a glass of wine after work but also going out and exploring the city. My lease is up 14 March so looking to move to a new place by then.
Hello! We are three full-time health professionals (2 of which will be sharing a room) looking for at least 2 other relaxed and tidy people to go house hunting with in the inner west. The rough plan is to be finding a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom place together for a late March or early April move, where you would be on the lease along with a very cute dog and cat. The upper end of our group budget is around the $1200 mark which will initially divvy up to at least $300 each, less when I (Nadia) move in after finishing up a contract in Newcastle in July, and even less if we find another couple (so, couples very welcome!) We are a chilled bunch, prone to the odd drink after work but never obtrusive or lazy with common area cleaning. Expect the house to be quiet a bit of the time as 2 of your housemates are shift workers. We would love to meet anyone who thinks they would suit the vibe of the house, and get started organizing inspections over the coming month! P.S, as we haven't nabbed a house yet, the costs of each room hasn't been set. Happy to negotiate this further for couples once we start looking for houses :)
Hi, I'm a french student and I'm 19. I'm coming to Sydney for a year. I study modern languages so I speak pretty well english and italian (+learning russian) Looking for cool flatmates to be part of my adventure, discover the country and its culture!! I'm very respectful and openminded, can enjoy a quiet moment with a book as much as a night at a pub. I can be discreet at first, just let me a moment to adapt.
We are USYD students, clean and tidy, living a regular life, and we are both easygoing and independent girl, for most of the time, we'll study in Uni or in Research Center , so won't bother others too much. Hi, I am Rhiannon and I have just moved to Sydney from Adelaide to take on a new role for work. I am looking for a private room for rent at the end of APRIL. The room would need to be big enough to fit my queen bed, beside tables and dresser and with a built in wardrobe. I would prefer own bathroom but am not bothered to share with another person either. I am an honest, tidy and trustworthy person with a good sense of humour/cheeky personality at times. Once you get to know me I am a social person that can adapt to a lot of different personalities but do also enjoy my quiet time by myself. I work Full Time and generally work Tuesday to Saturday. I am happy to share with Male or Females, preferably ages 25-40. I do not smoke but can tolerate smoking if it's done outside and away from me. When I'm not working I do like to go out to dinner to many different places, go on walks/hikes and have a drink or to when socialising. If your room or property meets most of my criteria and I am the kind of house mate you are looking for please feel free to message me with pics of the room and apartment available and any questions you may have. Thanks Rhi

I'm a fun, social and easygoing person who can get along with people from all walks of life. I'm a young professional working in public relations and run a successful food blog in my spare time (I always need plus ones for events!). I'm originally from Perth and LOVE the Inner West. Who doesn't? I like having a casual drink, talking crap, meeting new people, reading, laser tag, laughing, long walks, sports, live music... the list goes on. I'm neat, clean and tidy and I don't smoke. I'm more into a casual drink than being a party animal so you don't have to worry about weird noises coming from the living room at 4AM... holla if you think you're a likeminded individual. Lola x
My name is Kat, I'm 25 years old outgoing and friendly person. I just recently relocated to Sydney from Perth and I'm looking for a room in a share house. I am clean and quiet and looking to live with happy and positive people.
Hola! My name is Marcio, and I'm a 27-year-old IT professional. I'm originally from Uruguay but have been living in Wellington NZ for about seven months. I'm finding Welly a bit too quiet for my liking, so I'm looking to relocate to Sydney. I just accepted an offer from a digital marketing company based in Alexandria and since I'm not really a morning person, living close to work is essential. I'm very outgoing and social, like to try new things all the time, whether that'd be activities, coffee shops, breweries. I also enjoy the outdoors, hiking and going to the beach whenever I get the chance. I'm a very relaxed, down to earth genuine guy who loves to socialise but I also have moments when I like to be on my own. I'm tidy and clean, although I don't sweat the small stuff. I have a few friends in Sydney and whenever I'm in town we like to try new restaurants, go to the movies, concerts, festivals, beach, all the fun stuff.
I'm 24 and living in Redfern right now. I work full time in the city and host trivia every Wednesday night at Trinity Bar on Crown Street. I'm pretty social so I'm not home much during the week but when I am, it would be great to share a bottle of wine or a pizza :) I have a really good projector for movie nights and can cook pesto pasta in huge amounts because I have no self control haha I'm really easy going and ideally looking for something long term. Message me if you're interested!
Hello! My name is Emily, I'm a 23-year-old student who is looking to make to move up to Sydney following a not-even-quarter-life-crisis decision to quit my law degree and try to make it in the music industry! I have just started studying music & entertainment management at AIM, and have a few little internships happening at FBi Radio & some other little labels around town. I am tidy but not super anal about having an orderly house. I am used to living in big, social share houses who love to have a drink and get people over to entertain! I have quite a few friends up in Sydney who all love to get together, but my aim is to branch out a bit and meet as many cool, like-minded people as possible! In saying that, I would love to live in an environment where my friends were all welcome and comfortable to drop in whenever. I love going out on the weekends, catching live music and doing other activities through the day. My preference is to live with guys, but would be happy with a mix (couples are also no qualms! Also very happy to consider starting up a big share house if that's an option! Look forward to hearing from you!
I'm a 20 year old student, working part time looking for a private room in the inner west. I'm friendly, tidy, love to cook and enjoy the occasional vino or three. We're Fannie (31) and Fred (30), a couple from Montreal, Canada, moving to Sydney to start a new exciting life! Fannie is doing a PhD at the University of Sydney, and I'm a web developer. We're a very easy-going couple, we're clean and considerate, so there's no worry about cleanliness or noise or whatever. We like to cook while listening to some good psychedelic rock album, we like to drink a bit of wine, a couple beers at the bar, we love to take long walks through the city streets, and on rainy days stay on the sofa and watch a movie. We're flexible, and understanding. We can talk and mingle, or we can leave you alone. Fannie is the extrovert, I'm the introvert ; but we're both equal parts quiet and fun-loving.
Very easy-going and friendly traveller from the UK, currently working for an engineering company in the city. I love meeting new people and do enjoy a good sense of humour! My idea of a good time is hiking, cooking, eating out or spending my day at one of Sydney's beautiful beaches. I do enjoy the occasional night out over the weekends but I'm not too too keen on house parties! I'm ideally looking for a house with a chilled out vibe, where people are tidy and respectful but enjoy socialising with each other.
Hi there, Coming to the end of my current lease and looking for a room in a place with a fun, chill and tidy housemate to enjoy the occasional drink and banter. I work full time in the city working in digital marketing, I love what I do. When I'm not working I'm hanging out with my friends, binge watching some netflix, maybe occasionally reading something or doing some exercise (how good is F45?). I'm a pretty quiet and chilled out guy and I like to look after the space that I'm living in.
My name is Jo and I'm originally from the UK, now an Aussie citizen. I recently got back from a year living in PNG - amazing place but very glad to be home, am now working as a project manager for a NSW Govt agency. I am out a fair bit but don't party much, mostly just out with friends or playing sports...my Sundays in winter are usually spent playing hockey. I am a pretty good flatmate - I'm respectful and quiet and tidy up after myself. I am just looking for a flatmate/s who are kind and respectful and generally nice to be around :) Oh and I'm not very good with plants. And full disclosure sometimes I forget to take out the bins, but that's about as bad as it gets!
I just moved to Sydney from Canada for a master's degree. Hoping to find a place as soon as possible. I'm available anytime to meet. I'm easygoing, sociable and respectful. Very clean and easy to get along with. Love dogs. Cheers!
