Hi, well I'm a student that's studying at UC. I work at a Newsagent and as an AFL Umpire. I like spending time with my mates and family in my spare time. I'm really easy to live with as I do my own thing and don't tend to get in people's way, but I also do socialise and am a people's person. I do more than my fair share around the house and am honest as can be
I am a 42yo female working 6 days a week as a store manager. I am very tidy and responsible. I am looking for a nice quiet accomodation preferrably with 1-2 people. I am often away, have no pets, my children live interstate. I am nice and easy however keep my distance and do not invade other people's private space. I am planning to move interstate in a few months time but have no particular date set, so my preferred length of stay can be smth from 3 months to 12 months or so, may be a bit longer.
I'm Sarah, I'm 23 years old and I'm studying at UC. I'm doing my masters in occupational therapy. I have lived in share houses for 3 years now so I am used to living communally and understand about communal cleaning. I am clean, tidy, friendly. I like to have a chat with people but respect people's personal space.
Full-time public servant who plays a bunch of sports. I dont mind a beer and hanging out on the weekend but respect peoples privacy. Im really easy going and easy to get along with.
We're two travellers, stopping in Canberra until June for work. We both work part-time, so we're out of the house a lot. When we're home, we're clean, tidy and quiet. We like reading, juggling and hanging out. We're travelling in a small van, and are more than happy to stay and sleep in the van. We just need somewhere to park it (a yard, garden - we're not picky) and access to bathroom and kitchen facilities. A room would be nice as it's getting cold, but it's not a necessity.
I am a clean and tidy, friendly, easy going, relaxed housemate that is just as happy to socialize as well as do my own thing. Looking for a new place to move in to as soon as possible for at least several months while I am trying to sell my house and buy a new one. I haven't rented for a while but I am always reliable with all rent and bills. I am a builder and have a ute and trailer that I need to be able to park safely and a few tools that I would like to store in the corner of a lock up garage if possible.
I am a bright and bubbly person and i love to cook and clean. As a university student i spend a lot of time studying and can respect other people space as well. I work almost full time hours and do university part time. I have a large fish tank community and adore pets of all kinds.
I'm a 26 year old who's lived in Canberra for a couple of years now. I'm fairly laid back and enjoy all the regular things (film, tv, music, friends). I've shared accommodation since leaving home at 17, and count myself as a decent and trustworthy housemate. I like my personal space/time and am more than happy to accommodate for others. I also genuinely enjoy house work so keeping a house clean is no issue.
I will be commencing study at UC doing a double degree of health and psychology and will also be transferring my current job and working part-time in retail! I'm looking for either 1 big bedroom or 2 bedrooms for my daughter and myself (she will be 3 years old), she will only stay with me from Monday to Friday and I will commute her back to her dad's house on weekends. She will be enrolled in care Mon - Fri surrounding my work and study so the only times we will really be home is mornings and afternoons! I'm an extremely tidy person and don't like hanging around the house my work/study load permits a day off! I don't smoke but don't mind an occasional glass of wine on the weekend or after a big day :)
I am looking for a room. I am a middle aged man who is a full time self-published writer and performer. I spend most of my days writing (plus admin and marketing my books) in cafes. I have been a counsellor, cleaner and public servant. I am 'spiritually' minded, for want of a better word. I have been either house-sitting or renting for a few years after the end of a long relationship. The place I was sold. I have temporary accommodation thanks to a lovely friend. I like to meditate, go out to places like The Front Cafe or Smiths, art openings and other things around town. I have a lot of friends of different ages. I like reading and going into the bush and I can cook well. I cannot drive as I have a genetic eye disorder but my brain seems to compensate a lot; so other than driving I am quite functional. I am pretty clean and tidy. I can pretty much talk about anything and I am quite 'chilled.' Also, I have plenty in my bank account to pay rent with, just not enough to buy; I am also on the visual disability pension Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
Happy, easy going, clean, enjoy cooking, reliable - especially with rent & bills. Moving from Sydney to Canberra to be closer to family. I have a precious motorbike as well as a car so some garage space for the bike and some tools would be appreciated. Thanks for looking at my profile.
We are fun, easy going, tidy and great company. We keep to ourselves quite often but enjoy a good catch up and a few drinks every now and then, although we are a couple we aren't overly affectionate while at home.
Hi! My name is David, I am 24 years old and I am originally from a small town in NSW called Cootamundra. I am looking forward to experiencing the delights of Canberra (especially the mountain biking) and keen to make new friends! I am easy going, punctual, friendly and always clean up after myself (it's always nicer to live in a clean house). I am also very into skiing and plan to do plenty of trips up to the snowy mountains during winter so if you are into that sort of thing or want to try it out, I'd be more than happy to drive you up!
Hey there, I am a young kiwi looking to fly from the nest (even though kiwis can't fly). I was born, raised and have never moved from a small city in New Zealand and am ready to venture over to Canberra to begin my studies at University of Canberra. I am currently a full-time student at UCOL (my current course finishes mid May) and part-time employee in sales- yes, I never seem to get a day off. Some hobbies which I have also include some rather nerdy things such as gaming, cosplay and playing some good ol'fashioned card games. I do have a taste for the finer things in life such as fast speed internet, 2 minute noodles and memes. I enjoy being social and trying new things, I never back down from a challenge. I am more than willing to compromise and cooperate with everyone I live with (it also helps that I'm a passionate baker and love cleaning- vacuuming is my favorite). All I am seeking in return is a good experience with some relaxed, friendly people. I look forward to hearing from you soon, Robyn
Im Ivan, 26, Civil Engineer. At the moment I work full time and study part time. If I'm not working, I'm studying... I enjoy a good chat or/and a drink or two. Im outgoing but also enjoy my nights in after a long week at work.
I'm a uni student studying a Master of physiotherapy looking to move down from Victoria to start at UC in August. I'm a very laid back person who spends most of his time at the gym, studying or at work. I'm keen to become good friends with whoever I move in with and will also always be respectful and clean.
I'm a 4th year uni student who I also works part time. I love to socialise (while watching netflix over some wine or food), but do also enjoy time to myself. Very clean and respectful of other people and their personal space. :) Ideally looking for somewhere close to the city but would be happy with anywhere northside. Ready to move in anytime but ideally around the end of May/June. Preferred length of stay is anywhere from 6 months to a year. If you want to know more just ask! :D
Hi, I'm a 22 year old student studying Business at CIT and have previously studied events management. I am a full time student and working casually. I recently started a new job, and although I am happy where I live, it's quite far from where i work and I'm spending way too much time on buses so I would like to move closer to Gungahlin and as close to the Marketplace as possible. I like to have my own space especially when I have assignments due, but also enjoy getting to know people and like to be friendly with those I live with. I have my own bedroom furniture so would prefer and unfurnished room. I'm not into huge parties or anything but I do like occasionally having friends over for a meal or just to hang out. I'm always respectful though and wouldn't make a mess or too much noise. Always happy to do my fair share of housework.
Hi, I am 37 years old, Training & Development Specialist. I am respectful of personal space, clean and organised. I love to have meaningful conversations, reading, learning new things, practicing Yoga and exploring nature. Looking for friendly and responsible housemates. Prefer a furnished room with own bathroom in a furnished house/flat and access to gas stove, washing machine, fridge and wifi internet.
Hello Everyone!! My name is Emily, I am 25 years of age, work as a nurses assistant at Calvary and study full time at CIT in enrolled nursing. I am easy-going, considerate, sociable, trustworthy and respect the privacy of others. I enjoy cooking, health and fitness. Looking for not just a house mate but a friend. I have furniture for my room so preferably an unfurnished room would be ideal. I also have a timber hutch which I would love to bring with me.
Im an easy going 29 year old male who will be working as a news camera operator in Parliament House, moving from Sydney at the end of April. I have lived in many share houses before so have no problem with getting along with people and doing my part within a household. I love my sport and having a quiet beer. Originally from Parkes NSW and lived in Wagga for years so Canberra isn't far from home.
We are a warm and friendly Filipino couple with a little girl (2 years old). I am an Architect by profession and my wife is a Document Controller. We are planning to migrate to Canberra in the last week of July 2017, and we are looking for a Granny Flat / 1 bedroom / Studio or self contained flat to rent as we hopefully prepare to start a wonderful life in Canberra. We are an easygoing family, fun to be with and we are clean and can adjust to almost anything. If you have a similar type of property for rent please feel free to message me, I would really appreciate it. Peace out!
Heya! I am a veteran sharehouser who is after a quieter 2 bedroom 2 person set up. I have a stable job working for a private engineering and consulting firm so my work hours aren't extreme and I am generally free weekends and evenings. I am studying librarianship and am in my 3rd year of a 5 year study plan. I am after just one other to live with in a non-party, but super friendly set up. I want to become good friends with my housemate. I would prefer to team up with someone and tackle the rental market together so we can start a new home. I have an old lazy cat named Molly, so the tenancy would have to be agreeable to her. She is however very docile and kind, strictly indoors and only meows when I'm getting her meals ready, so she is the perfect addition to any household! I am a quiet and kind housemate who has been around the block renting in Canberra (I also have references etc) and enjoy relaxing with housemates chatting, have a few drinks and Netflix binging. Of course I enjoy my personal space too and could only live with someone who appreciates the same values. My move in dates are very flexible, I have all my own bedroom furniture and have some basic furnishings for the rest of the house if needed (couch, side tables, artwork, cookware, rugs etc) I enjoy a good book, movies and discussion, cuddling with animals and going on adventures. Let me know if you think we might be a good fit!
