Hey I’m Nikhil, currently persuing my masters in IT from University of Wollongong. I’m looking for a nice place to stay which is near by the Uni. I’m ready to share a room or house if it’s available and would like to move in asap.
Hi, My name is Adil. I am a student at UOW studying a masters of research in neuroscience. I am looking for chill people to live with. In my spare time I like to play and listen to music, read, watch movies, go to the beach, talk about my day and philosophise about random theories. I come from Germany, but I have lived here for so long that I pretty much consider myself an Aussie. HMU
*I’m looking for an upgrade from my own 2 bedroom apartment that I’ve been renting. Independent, honestly quiet, respectful, reliable with rent, expect to pay bond, familiar with receipts and double-ledger accounting. Familiar with legal tenancy, additional occupant, strata bylaws, body corporate etc. I’ve got a legitimate good rental history. Barely drink, only social, and never to excess. Genuine non-smoker (not even Marijuana), don’t touch drugs doesn’t interest me, as I’ve grown out of the party scene & my friends classify me as 'straight edge'. Previously been an Airbnb superhost, I’ve seen it all, and there’s a reason why my budget and expectations for a property are higher, 'Quality not quantity'. I have an eye for detail, cleanliness, and maintenance, I won't disrespect or damage your property as I want to be comfortable in addition to receiving my bond back end of lease. I learned maturity and necessity for domestic duties from 16 & in the military (Army). I study a bachelor of Nursing at UOW, and spend majority of my time away from the house. I’m also a dog walker for a Siberian Husky, so I can live with and know how to handle and look after animals. I notice a lot of flatmates bullshit you, tell you after they move in they have a freeloader partner or friends always dropping in, you’ll never find another one like them, are alcoholics or immature, and don’t pay rent or bond on-time... well I’m in a strong position to say I’m unique. I’ve seen every walk of life, I have empathy for people’s plight, no empathy for the tight arse who wants everything for nothing type, but I steer clear of strife, and hanging with the wrong crowd. I’m looking for peace and quiet comfort, I’ve lived life, I dislike dishonesty and discomfort. I have no preference for male or female flatmates, I’ve lived with both, as long as the place is kept hygienic, not disturbing anyones peace, I'm only there to sleep (occasionally socialising when you want to meet, or share meals/eat). I’m not wanting to move in with the intent to pickup, I have alot on my plate. Believe it or not I’m a comfortable single straight cis male, with no hang ups, ex-wives, kids or a need beyond decent, respectful good company and my apparently ‘boomer’, or polar-opposite wild friends which I will keep to the bare minimum (self inflicted excessive partying is not my thing... that's why they love me, token sensible one). Definitely not pc, neither am I naive, so much so I’ve been trusted in some very interesting private circles, nothing illegal, I’m just very empathetic and easy to get along with. So as you can see I’m upfront enough not to play games with flatmates.
hi, i am 19 currently working full time and looking for a place to live. preferably somewhere between thirroul and wollongongish, close to a train station. would love a room that gets lots of nice sunny natural lighting n big enough to fit all my stuff in, possibly a built in wardrobe 🧐
I am originally from the Blue Mountains and moved to Wollongong 8 years ago to study. I have completed my degree and have been working full-time for the last 5 years. Outside I work I enjoy Krav Maga, Jiu Jitsu, boardgames and hanging out with friends. On Saturday mornings I assist in teach kids Krav. I am relaxed and spend my spare time outside with friends or catching up of whatever series I am watching. I am a non-smoker and don’t drink. I am happy to team up and look for a place or move in to a place that is already set up. If I sound right for your place get in contact and I would love to meet up and see the place.
Israel and I are siblings looking to move out. Looking for some people to move out with so it’s cheaper. Happy to live with either male or female and couples. We don’t mind! We are both pretty chill people and respectful. We both work full time and are down to earth people. We respect people need there own space and we keep to ourselves and won’t bombard your privacy. But definitely both enjoy a good chat, and are friendly people! (Budget about $200 each) More about us! Zahra: I’d say I’m a very easy going and chill person, love socialising and meeting new people so I’ll be happy to live with anyone. I love staying active, love a good hike or doing some yoga. Also don’t mind a cold bevy after a day of work. Clean and tidy, always cleaning up after myself and very independent and always willing to help out. I work full time as a duty manager at target Wollongong, and currently living in corrimal with other housemates but am looking for something closer. Israel: Easy going, relaxed guy. Independent and clean and tidy. Works full time as a steel fixer, usually working 5-7 days a week. Happy to live with anyone that’s down to earth and easy going.
Hi, my name is Vivian, 24 years old and I’m from the Netherlands. As part of my study I have to do an internship, and had the opportunity to come to Australia :-) I love to travel, I also like to cook, hike, sport (now and then), watch netflix, have a drink with friends and enjoy a good talk. I’m really easygoing, tidy and open minded, who likes to try new things.
