I am super neat and tidy and I love to cook. What more is there to know? I work in a hospital so cleanliness is one of my greatest attributes. I have a pet snake and two lizards which live in escape proof tanks.
Working full time. Social, love sport, fitness, music, cooking and most importantly appreciate living in a clean and respectful home 👍
21, law and finance uni student, work a lot, clean and keeps to herself.
Hi, we are a couple of young people and, because of work, we just recently started looking to move from Brisbane to Melbourne end of January. French woman working in Optometry and English man full time worker in Marketing for Telstra. Looking for a place: somewhere close to CBD, public transport and all facilities are must. Very friendly, we are used to live in houseshares or flatshares and like socialising. Comfortable living with other people. Clean and involved in the everyday tasks at home. We are after a new home with a nice, chill and quite atmosphere.
Helloooo! I'm a 25 y/o professional, live a relatively well-balanced life in that I like to gym/cook dinner/chill during the week but pretty active social life over weekends... Few beers who cares etc ;) Keen to live with some chilled, like-minded people in a well-kept place!
Fun, friendly, professional Irish doctor relocating to Melbourne to work in the Mercy Hospital for Women for 14 months initially, starting Nov 2016. Home owner in Ireland and as a result clean and respectful of property as well as personal space. Big into health and fitness currently into crossfit. That said I really enjoy chilling out with good food, nice wine and friendly people during my downtime. Hoping to find a flat share with somebody similar in order to experience the best Melbourne has to offer during my time working there
I'm 25 and work full time (Tuesday-Saturday) in retail in the CBD. In my time off I like to keep fit and social and travel every chance I get. I'm looking for a new place to call home ASAP, preferably with someone I can call a friend and not just a housemate. I would love to find someone who's happy to hang out and share the occasional meal but also has their own thing going on. I'm very tidy but not ocd and not a huge partier but enjoy the occasional night out.
Hey, I'm Mitchell. A little bit about me - I'm a 22yo working as a health professional Mon-Fri. Looking for a room preferably around the inner northern suburbs. Prefer clean and tidy housemates. I like being outside, going bike riding or hiking.
Heya. I've just moved to Melbourne by way of Brisbane and before that, Canberra, for work with the APS. I'm clean, tidy and bill-punctual, chill, tall and nerdish; a longtalker, deadpan and absurdist banterer, dank meme connoisseur, humanities graduate, reliably good for drinks, games, generating food, dumb jokes, and making hay out of city loife. Pets are a life goal; big, sympatico, gender balanced share-households (4+) are a longstanding preference. I’m looking for the premium Melbourne sharehouse experience with some harmonious characters, somewhere colourful, inner-northish, with a bit of a garden and within reasonable riding distance of the CBD. I'm currently staying in Northcote with fam so I can move whenever, or even get on board with a team-up with other cool interlopers. If you've got a space to match and think that we might gel, don’t hesitate, shoot me a DM and let me know. No roomshares pls. Thank
Hello Melbourne! I have recently moved (from Brisbane) for work and I am looking for a place to make a home. I'm in my twenties, love staying in with a glass of wine and good company equally as much as I love weekend adventures. I'm tidy and mature and can clean up after myself. I work in marketing. I have no furniture to bring but happy to furnish my own room. I do require a place with space to park a car. My partner lives in Bendigo so I am also looking for roommates who don't mind him being over on the weekends. Looking for a home with great people! It's a plus if you have a puppy 🐶 I'm open to any location 15-20 minutes from the CBD. Feel free to send me a message.
Hi, My name is Arthur, I’m a French student from Paris, I arrived 2 months ago in Melbourne and I’ll be staying until September 2017. I’m currently studying at the Australian Catholic University and I’m also working part-time at Subway. I’ve spent the last 6 months in Brussels where I was living in a flatshare with 6 others amazing flatmates and I really enjoyed it ! So my preference goes out to living with other people :) I’m easy going, clean and friendly. Happy to meet new people from different background and countries. Always up to go out, have a drink and discover new places. I’m a real movie lover and always keen to talk about it. I also love music and go to a few concerts every year, I hope I’ll have the opportunity to do so in Melbourne as well. I had never been to Australia before and plan to travel around the country a bit and maybe to New-Zealand. I can pay both bond and rent immediately. I don’t smoke and have no pets (love dogs but allergic to cats). Thank you very much, and please feel free to ask me if you have any questions :)
Super neat, hardly home, quiet, pet free, smoke free, drama free! Moved to Melb a month ago for a role in a engineering company. I travel quite a bit and will most likely be away one week each month. Hobbies? Cooking, reading, yoga, travelling and dining out. I'm looking for a furnished room within 5km of the CBD.
Hi everyone! I'm a newish fella to town, having recently moved from interstate for a job opportunity. Looking for somewhere around the (but not limited too) Collingwood/Fitzroy/Richmond area, preferably with a car space. About myself, I'm a pretty happy chappy - like to meet new people and laidback. I am 21, but I look like I'm 28 and have a mortgage and two kids. Like having my surroundings tidy (though not super anal with it). I work for an airline and get super cheap tickets to travel around, so solid chance I'll be away on some of my days off. I work 24/7, so I can be working at any time. I am super quiet getting up during awkward hours though! Thank you! Ryan
47 year old professional father of three, two are young adults at uni and a 5yr old little man who has a beautiful personality, is polite, understands boundaries and stays with me every other weekend. Like to stay fit and healthy, enjoy socialising as much as my own time. I'm quiet and respectful of people's needs, yet enjoy turning the music up loud at times especially while house cleaning or cooking. Easy going, very approachable and will go out of my way to consider others needs, yet expect the same in return. Clean, tidy, very busy and travel sometimes for work.
Hi I'm Lya, I'm international student and working in hospitality. I'm very easy going, kind and respectful, like to keep things tidy and clean. I prefer a place where there are no parties. I do not mind to share a meal and hangout sometimes. But enjoy been by my own.
I'm a 20 year old Swedish girl and I'm moving to Australia in August. I will be studying full time at Billy Blue College of design. Looking for a private room not too far away from Melbourne CBD. I prefer living with females. I'm easy going and down to earth. I love being creative and I also love music. I'm trying to learn to cook more vegetarian food. I like to socialise but I always respect personal space. I like to go out to bars and clubs as well as just staying in watching Netflix. I only want to live with humans, because I'm allergic to dogs and cats...
I am from Sao Paulo, Brazil, I am currently interning in a architecture studio in CBD area . I am very organized and clean, but I know I have some sloppy days, but I swear I try to avoid them. I believe is very important to keep things clean and organized, specially when you are sharing your house with someone else. I am not a party person, I don't really like to drink but I won't refuse some occasional drinks. Usually I prefer to stay at home at night, unless ther is a special occasion. If I could, I would probably die watching Netflix, but I also like to exercise, I am really into cross fit. or riding my bike around Melbourne getting to know new places. My internship ends in December, but I am thinking about starting a Masters next year, which means I would be around until April or the next years, there are a lot of things that could happen, so I am Taking one step at a time. I believe for now that is it Best regards for you reading this Yuri Michel Piantniczka
I am a really easy going guy, who likes to go out, meet new people and explore. I have traveled the world and have lived on my own before. So I have no problem paying bills, or keeping the place clean. I am from Toronto Canada and have decided to live in Australia for a year and then maybe travel a bit around Asia and New Zealand. I am into business and sports, I love hockey even though I hear there's not much of it in Australia, but also love tennis, basketball, baseball, and soccer. I like to try new things for fun, and will always say yes to going out and partying. I do enjoy though sometimes staying in and watching Netflix haha. Looking for a roommate not only to be a roommate but maybe a friend, a person to go out with and show me the city when you have the time, or even go on adventures. I am a young professional and plan on working part time or full time during the week, while I am studying for my CFA exam. Looking for a furnished room with a bed and a place to put my clothes most importantly.
Kiwi, working in advertising. Have been in Melbourne six months. Looking for a quiet and sunny room in a central suburb. Can cook. Average chat.
Hi, I'm an Australian who has been working overseas with plans to come back. I would like to set-up for my family's smooth return so am looking for a shared accommodation for about a year. I've a property in Narre Warren South on rent. I am an easy-going, open-minded, respectful person who loves animals. Extra information: I'm married and have a boy aged 11 and two cats.
Hi I'm Brynley. Currently living in Christchurch, New Zealand. I have just been offered a florist Job and fly over on the 26th of October. I always bring flowers home, I'm organised, easy to get along with and love adventures but I also love my down time. I'm well traveled. I'm vegetarian but don't mind being around meat. I'm clean and tidier than the usual joe and would call myself a mature 21 year old although I think it's important not to take life too seriously. I hope I'm easy to envision living with :)
Hey Guys, I am currently a student studying at RMIT University. It is slightly hard describe myself but, I would personally say that I am a very outgoing person, as I am very sociable and get along with people very well plus i am a very chilled, layed back kinda girl. I enjoy just sitting down, talking with friends, watching TV and just chilling really. Cooking, Kayaking and Gym fitness are my hobbies and I enjoy doing them as I love the outdoors. I'm not a party animal but, I like going out with a group of friends sitting a bar having a drink and chatting, while listening to some good beats once in a while when I can get time off work. Hello! :) My name is Shaun and I am a final year student who works full time in Banking. I am looking for a private room in a flat share in or around Melbourne. Ideally, I would be looking for a medium to large private room. :) It would be really nice to find some housemates that are willing to do their own thing for the most part, yet still have a great house dynamic, and have a drink or meal with one another somewhat more regally than occasionally. :) Anyway, let me know if you think you have something that would fit me! Id love to hear from you all. Shaun :))
Hey! I'm Caity, I'm 22 and from the Gold Coast. I moved to Melbourne a year ago to study primary education and disability studies at RMIT, and I work as a bartender in Richmond. I'm looking to live around the Richmond/South Yarra area to stay close to work, but would also love to live in Fitzroy, Northcote, Collingwood etc. I really enjoy going to gigs, exploring new bars and going to footy games. I've lived out of home for 5 years so am well versed on paying bills and keeping a clean house. I also have a 3 year old cat named Maxi - he's super cute and sociable and just loves absolutely everyone he meets. If I sound like I'd be a good fit for you, please send me through a message so I can come check out your place :) Caity
Hi! Kelly here. I like to keep busy by filling my brain with information, being a greenthumb, making tasty food, and enjoying the glorious things mother nature and human innovation has to offer. I enjoy/do in spare time: eating food (a lot. i'm vegetarian and try to eat healthy - try!), admiring trees (study Horticulture), cooking/baking, watching docos/obscure tv shows, looking after house plants, finding new bars, playing board games, hitting the road, finding new music and reading. I have also recently added badminton to the list which is pretty blimmen cool!! I am very considerate of others and like to keep communal areas clean. I can be a quiet housemate at times, so not looking for a party house, but in saying that it would be cool to have meals, chats and card games together! My little furry friend is Charli Tuna (named after one of my favourite rappers). He's an older rescue cat, had him about 2 years. Loves attention, cuddles and is pretty talkative. Not your typical 'don't ever touch me' cat. that's kinda me in a nutshell? :)

I already have a few friends in Melbourne but am looking to make some new ones! I'm quiet tidy and generally keep to myself unless someone is keen for a chat or a family house dinner. Definitely not a party animal though but I do like to be social. I'm pretty easy going and respectful of others property and space!

We're both up for a laugh and don't take ourselves too seriously and really want to make the most of our time in Melbourne, so if you have room for 2; and would like to find out some more info drop me a message :)

I'm a professional journalist, work freelance and do shift work so can be away a lot, especially over the winter months, travelling with projects. I'm looking to live with one other professional around the same age. Want a place to call home, not house, but I'm also pretty social so will probably get along more with someone who has an equal appreciation for good wine and food.

Hi! My name is Jen, I'm from Gemany and about to move to Melbourne thanks to the working holiday visa. I quit my job in March this year to travel around the world, starting in Asia and now heading to Australia before I become too old for the whv. My travelmates described me as an easygoing, funny, yet responsible person, always down for a little chat or game. I have a lot of experience when it comes to living with other people (from all over the world), so certain standards of hygiene and privacy will of course be upheld. ;-) Maybe it's also important to mention what I'm not: No barbie, no vegetarian, no driver, no party girl. Message me for more information, I'd happily answer your questions or concerns. Regards, Jen
Easy going, social, work full time. Active couple and enjoy cooking yummy food. We have both lived in share houses for 8+ years. Melbourne original, looking to consolidate and save money for our first property.
Hello Hello, I am 24, study writing and RMIT and work part time. I grew up in a forest but Melbourne has been my home for the last few years. I've travelled a lot and lived in Sydney for a while where I studied photography. I'm now looking to find a new place to live that I can stay in while I finish my degree. I would love to live in a place with a nice garden (or potential for a nice garden) and am not fussy about the location as long as its close enough to the city and some nice bike paths as riding my rusty yellow bicycle is one of my favourite things to do. I'd like to live with people who I could be friends with and work with to create a nice space to live in. Ideally it would be great to be with people that I can share my love of books, music and plants with. I love to cook and share food and am always up for a chat. During the week I usually keep my head in my studies and work, but on the weekends I like dancing, going to the beach or hiking and baking bread ( sometimes not so successfully but its fun anyway!). I should mention that I do have a small fluffy cat called Mogwai (after the gremlins not the band), who I would like to bring with me but if it's absolutely not possible I can figure something out. He's a good guy though. This is my first time sharing in three years, but I'm excited to see how it goes and have many useful house things that I can contribute. My preference is to start a new share house, but if the right one comes along I could move somewhere already established. Hope to hear from my new house mates soon! Best, Alicia
Bonjour, My name is Amandine also know as Ama. I am a 34 years old French female born and raised in Bordeaux up until the age of 19. Before settling in Melbourne, I travelled a fair bit ( UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Jamaica, US, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia). I've been in Australia for the last 11 years and I was granted the Australian citizenship in 2010. My background is in Community Development. I worked for international development agencies such as CARE, Save the Children, Plan, World Vision. I've always had an interest in the experience of refugees and people seeking asylum. So last year, I decided to work at a grassroots level with this cohort of people. I am now a full time Refugee, Asylum Seeker Support and Volunteer Coordinator for a great organisation in Fitzroy. Likes and Interests: yoga/meditation, swimming, walks, brunching/dining out, music/gigs ( 90's Hip Hop, Soul, Funk, Blues, Jazz, Afro Beats, New Orleans style Brass bands, Reggea and more- RRR and PBS listener), friendly pets, independent movies and documentaries, nature ( specifically the beach), Development, Multiculturalism, the arts, learning, having a laugh. I am not a vegetarian but I eat 90% like one. I am well trained when it comes to cleaning and tidying up :). I am also considerate and respectful to people's space. My job is very rewarding, challenging and energy consuming at the same time. I am looking for a welcoming and peaceful little 'chez moi' to recharge my batteries. I have a job contract until July next year with strong possibility of being renewed. So I need a place for the time being. For the last 3 months, I've been house sitting my friend's house in Coburg while she was away. She's now back and I need to move asap. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Cheers, Ama
Couple coming back from the Kangaroo Route (working holiday visa in England for 2 years), met in Old Blighty (well Prague, but we were both living in England at the time!). I'm (David) looking to move in in October, and Jess will be joining once she has gotten back from re-greeting all the relatives! (So in early January) We are both fairly laid-back, and both teachers (David secondary, Jess primary). I'm a hockey player, and enjoy a good night in - with a good single malt/ale/vino :) I've lived in Melbourne since my uni days, so a bit over a decade before I flew the coop. Jess is the more outgoing of us, but can binge on Netflix like no-one I've ever seen! She is a New South Wales native, so will be tackling another new city when she comes down.
Hey, I'm Shannon, 24 and originally from a Perth. Moved to Melbourne February last year and absolutely loving everything Melbourne has to offer. I work full-time Mon-Fri so I'm financially sound.
