I currently have undertaken studies to become a youth worker, and am looking for part time work and I've had to depart from my full time job. I can talk your ears off but do also enjoy some alone time to clear my mind. I currently live in Werribee and have lived in Melbourne all my life, so I'm not stranger to how we melbournians live. I play sports in the summer and looking to return back to football this season, and I'm also an ex professional gamer! I enjoy a drink and a great laugh!
I'm fun, easy going, like to live in a clean environment, and I can cook a mad salad (even though you can't win friends with salad)! I love dogs. I come from Ararat... and hope that I can move and find some new hobbies and sports, as well as working full time.
Hey there, Vikalp here ! So I am currently in Melbourne and looking for a place in and around Melbourne or geelong as I work at Ford down in geelong. I used to stay in Carlton, Melbourne before moving to Sydney, so I am really glad that i'll be a lot closer to Melbourne again. I have lived in share houses in M-Town and I am currently living in one in Sydney as well. I would love to find a similar thing again. If you are looking for something to possibly even rent together I could be the person. I will have my hands full working through the week so you probably wont catch me through the day but I will be down as your new take away dinner buddy, as I don't cook that often. My weekends would be basically catching up with all my friends. I love a social chat and a drink when possible ! I like being organised about my stuff and I love a clean place around, so I tend to always clean around and do my fair share of daily chores. So shoot me a msg if you think we can work something out. PS: Monday night is a game of thrones night ! And I bring my xbox along so we have an entertainment system for the house. Cheers ! :)
Hey all, my name is Sophie, I'm a 20 year old girl working part to full time hours at woolworths. I'm looking for a place to call home for the next few months, while I'm able to save some money and also meet some new faces :) 3 months would be the minimum length of my stay, and any location would suit me perfectly. I'm clean, fun, I love music, I'm easy going and I do enjoy a quiet night in. I don't have any pets, but I am a smoker. Thank you, Sophie.
Hey, I'm YewZhi, an almost-20-year-old moving to Geelong in late Feb to finish off a Bachelor of Architecture and Construction Management at Deakin Waterfront. Easygoing and friendly, but quiet. Born and raised in Perth, WA where I've completed 2 years of architecture school at UWA. I enjoy music, sport, the beach (hopefully Geelong's beaches are as good as Perth's!!! :) ) and fitness (but not like crazy - gym + running/cycling).
I'm a professional and will soon commence a 6 month (possibly extending to 9 months) contract with Deakin Uni. Hence I'm ideally looking for somewhere near the Uni and walkable to the train station, but with an option for a car. I'm 39 married with 2 children (6yo & 9yo) and reside in regional Victoria. My needs for accommodation would mostly be Sunday - Thursday. Most weekends I'd be back in my home town. I'm in Geelong for work, and a chunk of this I'd be continuing in the evenings. A few other points about me - * Tidy and quiet individual * Regularly practice yoga & meditation * Almost a vegetarian (I do eat meat but rarely) * Not big on TV * I do dabble in gardening. * non-smoker * Proponent of alternative medicine & health. If I'm a match for what you're looking for, I'd be happy to have a skype chat, or meet in person. I'll be in Geelong from Monday Feb 27 (and bunking with family while I find a place), or for the right place will travel down earlier. Thanks Gary.
Just coming to the end of my first 3 months in Australia and looking for a house to stay in for the next 6 months. I've come over from England and I'm on a working holiday visa. I'm currently working at the Ebony and Ivory Cafe on Moorabool St and most of my time will be spent working, surfing and at my girlfriend's house. I don't drink and I'm not much for partying but I do like to cook so if you're looking for a quieter housemate I would suit well!
Hi, I’m Natalia and I’m 31 y/o. I am architect with regional skill visa looking for a place to live in Geelong for at least 1 month, but it can be for a longer period. I'm easy going, friendly and responsible. During my free time I love reading, watching movies, listen music, training, cooking and chilling out in my own space or outside with friends. I like socialising and sharing a meal/drink with housemates or just chatting.
Hey everyone! I'm a 21 year old student at Deakin Waurn Ponds, doing my honours year in 2017. I'm currently living in a one-bedroom unit, and am looking for someone to go into a bigger place with me and a friend (also 21 year old female student) to help split the costs. I am almost fully furnished, so all you'd need is bedroom furniture! I have one small, well-behaved rabbit who I do bring inside on occasion (she loves cuddles) and my friend has an inside cat. We are both relatively quiet people and focus on our studies, though are happy to meet new people and have a good time. Interests include movies, books and catching up with friends. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, let me know and we can organise to meet!
I am looking to move too Geelong for work/study reasons. The ideal flatmates that I am looking for would be people who can have a laugh and interact easily. I am very easy going and very easy to get along with. I like to keep my environment neat and tidy so I'm not an issue when it comes to cleanliness!
I'm interested in finding a couple of people to start a new place together! Somewhere around the Belmont, Highton area or in Geelong CBD. I work full time. I'm neat and tidy and will do my fair share around the place. I'm pretty flexible with available date to move as of now. Thanks :)
Hi potential flatmates I've moved to Geelong for a grad position and I'm looking for some sociable flat mates to share with. A bit about me: I'm 25 and tidy(ish) a non-smoker and I love pets, reading and cooking. I'll be working normal business hours and be heading to Melbourne or the beach half the weekends. Send me a message if you're interested!
Hey, I'm Grace - a full time student at Melb Uni and working part time in Geelong. I tend to keep fairly busy but would love a house mate/s who I could chill with in the evenings. I'm easy going and have lived by myself the past two years up in Melbourne (this is the part where you're impressed I can pay rent, cook and clean for myself). Ideally I'd like to start up a house with one or two others, and I've got a fair bit of furniture which I'm happy for everyone to use. I'd dig a place with a garden so I can get a legendary veggie patch going, but happy to compromise :)
Hey flatmates, I'm a 3rd year architecture student looking for a place to live this year. Hoping to tee something up from abroad as I'm currently in India so unfortunately our 'get to know ya' coffee / beer will have to be over the internet. Friendly, tidy guy, happy to supply a reference or two if you're curious to know what I'm like to live with. Hope to hear from ya! Cheers, Trevor
I expect spend 3-4 nights a week at the property and I am hoping for somewhere that would allow my parnter to stay over but it is fine if this isn't possible. I am neat and quiet but very easy to have a conversation with. I am looking to live with people who are flexible but also clear in the terms they want to live by.
I'm easy going and dependable! I will be a tidy and quiet housemate. I work full time in Newtown so hours can be anything from days, to nights or weekends away so I would be in and out a fair bit. I have a Golden Retrievers who i could never leave behind so i need somewhere that would allow dogs and has a secure yard. She is super friendly though and loves absolutely everyone! If you feel like i might be a good fit for your house feel free to message me. :)
I am currently in the transition of moving back to the Surf Coast. I'm friendly, nice and clean. I love surfing and doing yoga and spend most spare time doing this. I'm back at Uni 1.5 days refreshing in my degree, and planning to be working part time.
I'm looking to rent for 3 months (willing to negotiate) I am 25 and work full-time in a winery and lead a v active life outside of work. I love kiteboarding, sailing and yoga. My boyfriend Jake, 32, is a professional chef currently working abroad. He loves surfing and makes beautiful smells in the kitchen! He returns to the area mid-March. We are looking after a B&B from mid-April to mid-May but we are happy to negotiate longer-term commitment. We have both worked on super yachts for a few years so we are used to living in close quarters, being respectful of the people we live with and cleaning up after ourselves. We are easy-going, sociable and after travelling for a while, we would love to find a place where we can hang out and call home!
Work full time and busy during the week with work and gym. Love a bit of routine and have a bit of a quiet time during the weekend. I'm quiet independent, clean and very respectful of others. Loves animals especially dogs. Never had one but looked after one of my mates every time they went away for about 11 years now. Creative person. Sometimes will creative artwork on my spare time if I'm inspired. Don't mind starting up a place with one or two others.
Hey I really hate these self describe sections so this will be short and brief. I'm Joiner by trade, which if you have no idea what that is that's cool surprisingly not many do. I'm a clean individual who always pays his bills on time and more than happy to do my fair share of house chores. On the social side big fan of heading out an grabbing a drink at the local pub and chilling not overly keen on the night club scene Well that's me in a snap shot
I am from Canada and have been living in Werribee the past year. I moved over here on a working holiday visa and now I will be staying longer. I work in a Veterinary Clinic in Werribee. I love the ocean and I love to surf, which is why I want to be closer to Torquay. I am a very active person, I love plaing volleyball, I run and I love to swim. I enjoy going out for a few drinks with friends on the weekend, however I also love a good movie night. I am a very outgoing person and I love meeting new people.
Hi folks, I like peace and quiet....and I like to be able to do my own thing. I've returned from overseas to run my growing internet business....7 days a week from a shed in Moolap. My wife is overseas and I will return to see her at Easter. I will need accommodation till 11-04-17 and again from the 27-04-17 for several months. I'd be prepared to pay a fee to hold the room while I am away. I like to go to Sunday markets, swap meets and enjoy a good coffee shop when I find one with perfectly roasted beans. I like a BBQ now and then and my own home made stew or spaghetti bol....which I don't mind sharing. I had to leave my motorcycle behind when I came back....so what do people who don't have a motorcycle do for fun times??? I am living with Peter and Jen in Highton at the mo. You can call Peter if you like for a reference. I can give you the mobile number later. I clean up after myself and cook a few meals each week and breakfast most days. Will always leave the kitchen tidy. Cheers
I'm a student at Deakin waterfront; not really fussed about location, albeit nearish uni would be cool. Huge music nerd, caffeine fiend, and all-round okay person. I'm experienced with sharehouse living so I'm well versed in looking after the place, sharing the load, not being an ass and all that kind of stuff. I don't have pets, but I love animals so it's cool if you do. Also, looking to move by about mid-March.
Easy to get a long with and great company. Tidy and respectful and happy to help others. About to transfer to a new department with the Australian Buruea of Statistics as a exciting new career move. Originally from the Mornington Peninsula, I am looking at this as a chance to start fresh and meet some new people.
I study at the Deakin uni and work in Pakington Street. I am looking for a quiet place to return to at the end of the day to get a good night's rest. Though I do socialise I don't usually have friends over. I like to cook my meals myself and enjoy some beer or wine.

Hi I'm a fun loving person who known how to have a good time but still knows when to keep to myself and give others there privacy. I'm currently working casually on weekends and study full time during the week at the Gordon and I am studying a certificate IV in beauty therapy :) I've put down that I have pets I do have two dogs but they live with my parents and will continue to stay there when I move out but I am really wanting to get a kitten when I move out but if that's a deal breaker it's not a must. And my hobbies really just consist of reading A LOT, watching A LOT of TV series and MOVIES ! And love to catch up with friends and have a laugh about anything or everything.
We are a relaxed and fun couple who love to travel, go out with friends, be creative, get active and always try new things! We have been living in our own property for the last 18 months and are in the process of renovating it before looking to rent it out. We are wanting to save a little more so would like to team up with another couple or person to rent with! Looking for a share home which is relaxed, homely and not a party house..although a few wines never hurt nobody!
Looking for share accodation for me and my little pooch Bob Geelong and surrounds please. Im a singing teacher local Geelong high schools Clean, friendly, quiet, l also love gardening.
Hi! My name is Damla, 27years old, working full time as an engineer. I’ve just arrived to Melbourne. I'm pretty friendly, quiet, easy going and like to be social with my housemates, may be having a nice bottle of wine. I am responsible and reliable, always clean up after myself and will of course pitch in to keep communal areas clean.
Quiet and respectful of other peoples space and privacy. Well trained in the art of cleaning up after ones self. The worst will be the sound of my espresso machine each morning as I wait for a cup of the delicious brew. Work from home as a web developer and currently doing Muay Thai training locally. I may travel or eventually move closer to Melbourne. So for now the share accommodation is great flexibility as that gives me the freedom to do both later towards the year. Things to note: Am vego, and can cook nice foods.
Hi my name is Bella and i currently live in Tassie. I recently just got a full time job in North Geelong and start at the end of Feb. i am looking for a room for a few weeks until i find a house my sister and our dogs can move into. i am funny, friendly and tidy. i keep to myself but once i am comfortable with you i am a very outgoing person!
I'm originally from Bendigo and recently got a new full time job in Geelong, I have been living with family at Inverleigh from the time being but I'm looking for a place in Geelong. I'm a country girl, easy going, laid back and honest, I don't mind a cheeky beer and pizza after work also! 😊👍🏻
I am moving to Geelong to join the Masters of Architecture program at Deakin University. I am friendly and love a good conversation but also like to keep to myself from time to time. Looking for a place for the next 4 months during my first semester, preferably near the Waterfront Campus.
Hi everyone! I'm looking for a place from March 2017 until July roughly (with the possible extension until November 2017). Preferably around $140/less and close to Deakin Waterfront would be ideal for me (but can negotiate prices). I'm a friendly and tidy person who loves a good chat and to meet new people! If anyone is in a similar situation, don't hesitate to send me a message :) Thank you!! Cassie
Hey! I'm moving to Geelong in the not so distant future, looking for a housemate or 2. Pretty easy going, chilled out. Have lived in share accommodation before with no problems. I'm a qualified primary school teacher, but I've taken this year of to do some relief teaching. Any questions, just ask :)
Currently living with my parents in perth, studying a course to become a personal trainer. Love to go to the gym daily and taking my husky out for walks daily. Enjoy meeting new people and socialising on the weekends. Keen to live with people with similar interests. Friendly, easy going, respectful, hate conflict, neat and tidy. Looking in both Perth and Melbourne :)
I'm 22 years old and have been studying construction management at RMIT for the past 4 years. I still have one semester left to finish my studies but it's a thesis so I bacially have no contact hours to undertake. I have recently managed to get my dream job for a builder but it meant I have to work in Geelong as I currently live in Patterson Lakes. I work 4-5 days a week which means all I am looking for is a place to stay during the week as I head back home over the weekends. I work 6:45am to 5pm on most days and go to the gym or footy training so you will barely see me. Once I finish work on Friday I head home and won't come back till either Monday arvo or sometimes Tuesday afternoon. I am currently paying 150 dollars a week but because I'm barely there, I'm looking for somewhere else which will be a bit cheaper.
Hello, I'm a graphic designer hoping to move into Geelong due to working full time hours. I enjoy an occasional brunch, binging gossip girl and having an occasional drink or 10 on the weekends :) . I'm easy-going and would appreciate someone who is respectable and easy to get a long with. I also have a little moodle that I hope to bring with me, if not she can stay with my parents.
