Hey guys, im Lauren, 27 and looking for a new home. I work full-time 10-6pm in Chadstone and I'm hoping to find a new place with some like minded people who are easy to get along with. Im bubbly and social, love to have a chat, but also know that personal space is important. I live a fairly simple lifestyle and enjoy a quiet night in with a movie and a glass of wine, gardening or day trips exploring. Would love to find a housemate with a doggy, but that would be an added bonus.
Hey. I’m a very clean, tidy, respectful and a fun flatmate. I enjoy meeting new people, going on food adventures and socialising, but I'm not a party person. I’m a huge fitness fanatic, love exerciseing and am constantly at the gym. And I love animals too. Right now, I currently live on the Gold Coast, but I will be making the move to Melbourne at the start of January to further my career in photography. I’m ideally looking for a place that is close to reliable public transportation and looking for a roommate/s (male or female) that are similar to me, career driven and are not party people. Additionally, I’m also looking for a room with my own bathroom.
I've spent the last 9 years traveling all over the world for both work and for fun. I'm originally from Michigan but left at the ripe old age of 21. A short list of who I am: I've been told by other nationalites that I'm not 'loud' like American's are often known to be, I'm clean, do regular exercise, love to read and write, dance whenever possible (wearing headphones of course), and roller-skate (quads, not blades). I'm a genuine people person, but also really, really cherish my 'me time’ especially at home, and in return have no intention of disrupting yours. I will absolutely be working full-time and always keep busy in other after-work activities. I'm only interested in living with other busy professionals and *non-partiers*. I am a non-drinker and a non-smoker, but a regular dose of dancing keeps me young and quite happy. During my Working Holiday Visa I will be looking to both enhance my professional life (Team Building and Leadership Training) as well as continue with a few odd jobs I do as freelance (writing, coaching, voice-overs). My main goal is to learn to surf, catch some festivals, all the usual things you want to do when you turn 30. Currently I have only requested a 4 month stay in this area as I search for the right [Professional] job across Australia, where ever that may take me. I have a sister that lives in Melbourne, which is why I'm starting my trip there. :) Thank you for your time and interest. My best always, Laura

29 year old guy, pretty quiet and relaxed. Like to be fairly active but quiet nights in/having a few social drinks with friends/roomies isn't out of the question. Originally from Canada, been living in Brisbane for last 5 years, I have permanent residency, but looking to move to Melbourne on December 10 for my new job. I do have a small/mid-sized dog named Rambo, he is a Schipperke (Belgian barge dog) he's shy with other dogs at first but becomes good buddies. I enjoy my own company most of the time but am happy to chat every now and then. I'm very clean and respectful of other peoples space. Hi there, my name is Sebastian and I'm a 23 year old student living in Vienna, Austria. I'm a very sociable and open-minded person with a great sense of humor and I will always have an open ear for you or advice if you need some. I'm very adventurous and both love to go out partying or having a nice dinner with friends, but also just to chill at home and spend a cosy evening in front of the TV. In my spare time I really like to go to the gym or spend some time in the nature. I'm a very easy and uncomplicated type of person and get along with everyone. I'd love to build up a great friendship with my flatmate and in best case even find someone who joins me travelling through the country :) I'm very tidy and reliable, you don't have to worry about not getting the rent on time. If this fits to you, feel free to contact me :) all the best, Sebastian
Tasmanian moving to the big city of Melbourne in early January (2019) for full-time employment as a marketer - Enthusiastic, active and respectful person with a diverse background, and an interest in 99% of things in life - languages, cultures, sports, professions etc. I am extremely clean (I have minimal possessions due to moving so often) and considerate of others, have been a bartender at a bar/club - so I am well over the party days, and am very keen to be out and about exploring the new city. I love meeting and chatting with new people, currently speak 4 languages to help so, however I understand that sometimes a night to yourself with ice cream and a tv show is more than acceptable. - Preferably looking in Chadstone area and surrounding suburbs as work will be in Mount Waverley.
Hi! My name is Bec and I am looking for a new place to call home. I enjoy the company of my housemates, but enjoy my own too. I have been fortunate to have been in some great share-houses and made some wonderful, life-long friends. I enjoy healthy food and would love to get back to cooking more - happy to swap and share the odd meal or just have taste-testers! I work full-time, between my main job and some voluntary work. - I love both. I will tidy up after myself and direct debit for bills and rent takes care of the basics so we can get on with creating a happy chilled-out home. I am out a fair bit (with meditation, friend-catch-ups, theatre and arts and family to name few) but I also love to share a kitchen chat, cuppa or the odd DVD/Netflix with my housemates. I am after a single storey place and I do need it to be close to a train station. I am looking to live with others who are easy-going companions, good communicators and also want our place to be a great place to be. I am in no rush to move out of where I am, its more about finding a good fit. I am pretty flexible about location..although I have come to love the greenery and space of the further-out suburbs in the last few years!
Hello there! We are Nathanael & Maximilian. We have plans to travel to Melbourne on the 15th of January 2019. Together we plan on working in Melbourne for a month or two until we can sort out a truck/van with all the essentials we need for a couple months on the road. Max and I met in New Zealand back at secondary school 3 years ago when he was on an exchange and I was a student. We have planned this trip for years and it has finally come time to make it happen. A bit about us Nathanael Lane - I am a 20 year old from New Zealand. In the past 2 years I have travelled all over Australia, China, New Zealand and Indonesia working as a freelance videographer and tradesman. I am a self sufficient, hard working young man who enjoys exploring, photography and am all about a good time. Maximilian Friedrich - I am a 19 year old from Germany. Over the past 2 years I have completed school and started my own clothing brand. I have worked in numerous places and have now travelled back to New Zealand with the hope of travelling, living and working in Australia. I enjoy music, reading and skating. We are open for anywhere to stay for up to 2 months. We are open to share houses and share rooms if need be. We have applied for jobs in the Glen Eira, and we will not have our own means of transportation in the first few weeks we are in Australia so anywhere close to a train station would be ideal. If you have a house with 2 beds available feel free to be in contact with us. CV/Resume's can be sent through on request. We look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards Nathanael & Maximilian.
Hey there! Looking for a place to live for the next 4-12months. I am keen on seeing different areas of Melbourne so don't mind if it is only a shorter-term lease. My selling points: often out of the house, will contribute indoor plants and wafts of delicious food down the hallway. Will happily keep to myself or have a chat. Have lived in many share houses around the world so know the drill. I am clean (very keen on the idea of a cleaning schedule) and considerate of space (will clean up my stuff when finished on the table and try to use the kitchen when no ones else is). Me: - I have just finished up a Sociological research project on dating apps (very interesting) and am currently seeking a social-science research position for 2019, considering a PhD for the year after. - I play field hockey and generally like to be active. - Typical millennial who likes travel and food. - Non-typical millennial who doesn't like social media. What I'm looking for in my housemates: Don't have too many expectations but definitely get along more with people who are open-minded and accepting folk. Regardless, I am keen on housemates who like to communicate when they have issues (I will do the same) so we can discuss, compromise and continue on with a happy and sustainable housemate relationship. What I'm looking for in my new dwelling: ~10min walk to a train station (or tram directly into the city) Anywhere in the South-East or Eastern suburbs. Medium to lots of natural light.
Clean, friendly and responsible. Finishing up my bachelors degree and will start work in health care. In my free time (...and when I should be studying) I enjoy listening to podcasts, being active and watching standup comedy. Wanting a female only residence with the exception of couples.
I´m a full-time business and marketing student and work part-time as an optical assistant, I'm very clean, organised (sometimes way too much with my own things), respectful and easy going person always up for a chat or whatever, if you can guess my nationality our first coffee is on me 😁 I enjoy playing video games every now and then and watching Netflix. Looking for someone to team-up and rent a flat or a PRIVATE room at a house/unit/apartment preferable at the city, south or south-east suburbs. I have my own bed, a small cupboard, a fan, and some kitchen appliances as well if needed. Send me a message for more info 🤙🏼
Hey, I'm 26 and work full time in the CBD. I have room and house furnishings. I like to hang out with my housemates either watching TV, chatting and eating or playing games but also sometimes need my space and understand that others do as well. I'm laid back and pretty easy going. I don't have any pets but I'm more than happy to live with them.
I am a Canadian uni student coming to Melbourne for an exchange trimester at Deakin. After the trimester ends in June I plan to stay in Melbourne to work until returning to Canada in December.
