Hello! I'm from Alaska and about to move to Melbourne on a working holiday visa for an undetermined amount of time, around 4-6 months or more potentially. I'm currently living in New Zealand traveling and working while living in my car so I'm excited to move into a real bedroom. I'm ideally looking for a place without a cat as I am allergic. I'm a respectful, social and tidy person, and I plan on working full time as soon as I arrive. I enjoy almost all things outdoors, video games, and going on adventures.
Single professional male working in the IT industry who is quiet, clean and easy to get along with. I do like to cook and gym / cycling are a big part of my spare time. I am also your guy if anything needs fixing!
I'm pretty laid back and I make an effort to get along well with the people I live with. I try to keep the house reasonably clean and tidy. I think I keep a fairly good balance between sticking to myself and being social with housemates. I'm studying exercise and sport science at Deakin so I enjoy getting out and exercising. I also like going to gigs and going out with friends.
Hiya Im Jess, I am a 21 year old qualified hairdresser - And Cameron is a 22 year old Photographer - we’re both very creative people, who both have interests in various pop culture, books, board/video games, movies and music. - We are looking for people with similar interests, who don’t mind pitching in to keep the house clean, as everyone should be responsible. - We aren’t party people, and don’t wanna live in a party house, but are likely to have people over for board/video games or drinks on weekends. - I spend most of my free time, binge watching Netflix or reading (or going out to play Dungeons & Dragons) - and Cameron spends a lot of time looking into various (confusing, but cool) photography things. - 100% LGBTIQ Friendly. If you have a pet, that’s fine – but no long haired cats (Im sadly, incredibly allergic to cat fur) - this would also depend on having landlords permission We want to START a NEW home (preferably with no more than 2 other people of a similar age) where no one feels lesser than another, where everyone is comfortable to bring family/friends over for dinner etc. - But we are also interested in moving into an existing sharehouse. If interested, please message me and I will happily give my mobile number for further conversations. (PS-we have a TONNE of kitchen stuff, a second tv and couch - ideally we'd like to bring them all with us on top of our bedroom furniture. I can also supply a dining table and fridge if needed.)
i'm a pretty chilled and easy going 23 year old bloke from the outer suburbs looking for somewhere closer to the city for work and leisure i have lived in share houses before overseas so i know about space and keeping the home clean and tidy. i also enjoy seeing live music, camping, climbing and hiking so some weekends will be spent out doing that or otherwise working. i'm also a non smoker but enjoys a social drink every now and again. i don't mind dogs or cats but i wont be bring any along. cheers
Very easy to get along with. Up for a chat but am happy to do my own thing as well. My job recently relocated to the CBD so looking for somewhere closer with access to public transport. Looking for someone to have a laugh and a drink with that's clean and tidy. Always lived near the beach so hoping not to break tradition... too much
Hi, my name is Katherine, 24, Brazilian, international student. I'm studying customer services in ILSC and working part-time. I really enjoy expend my free times at the beach, watching a movie, reading a book. I'm very organized, tidy and I love animals.
I am currently studying Exercise and Sport Science at Deakin University, Burwood. I work part-time at Chadstone Shopping Centre, so I am always quite busy. I'm a very sociable person and will happily have a conversation with anyone about anything. In regards to my living behaviours, I am extremely clean and do not like leaving any mess. I am a capable cook, and can live independently or happily share cooking/cleaning duties amongst roommates
I'm a full time student, I work part time in a pastry kitchen on my days off of school. I am generally a quiet person. I respect people's privacy and personal space. I consider myself a considerate person as I always clean up after myself in the kitchen and the bathroom. Pretty much as house-trained as anyone can be! :)
Pretty ace housemate if I don't say so myself. I like to keep things clean and tidy, but am not a cleaning nazi. I'm very respectful, courteous and most importantly fun. I'm not moody, have no allergies, or things I can or cannot eat. I love to share the cooking, and the couch. I play lots of sport, including baseball on a regular basis (also a big NHL and AFL fan). In my spare time I like to catch up with mates, watch tv n movies, play games, and go on adventures. I work regular 9-5 hours in the city. Looking for long term place, with someone who is fun, friendly and respectful. Would like to be walking distance to train station (less than 20 min walk). 2-3 bedroom places preferred. I've got mostly bedroom stuff, but also a few kitchen things. Looking for a big bedroom.
we are a fun and outgoing couple who are clean, organised and social people. we hare both studying at deakin university and studying in the third trimester of the summer and looking for a house to live in until end of feb/march. we love sports and being active. hobbies include basketball, netball, brunches.. or food in general, and we also love the occasional drink and meeting up with friends .we both work casual in retail sales while studying.
Hi my name is Grace, and I'm currently Studying Arts and Deakin University in Burwood. I have been living in student accommodation for the past year and am just looking to move out somewhere quieter. There is nothing I love more than having a good chat with someone but I also appreciate having some downtime by myself. I'm looking for someone who has a similar sense of humour and who can hopefully become a good friend.
Working professional, do like quiet times but also like to socialise and looking for a place to call home. Tidy and responsible as I've housesat for many years caring for peoples homes and pets. Originally from Brisbane, now call Melbourne home

Hello there ! My name is Caroline, i'm a french Canadian lady on a working holiday visa leaving Sydney to go discover Melbourne. I'm looking for a short term place to stay for about 2 weeks, the time to find a job in the city and establish myself :) I'm a pretty quiet lady and since i've never been to Melbourne before, so you will probably not see much of me as i will want to go explore the city. I plan on staying longer than 2 weeks, but would prefer to find a workplace before engaging myself in a longer term rental. I work in hospitality, enjoy good food, photography and bushwalking. Hit me up if you have something that could work for both of us :) Have a wonderful day !
I am a Market Manager for a medical device company travelling for work quite frequently. I would love to team up with someone and find a great place in the Camberwell, Glen Iris, Hawthorn East area. I have a son, aged 12 who stays with me some of the time. We have a 7 year old cavoodle Marley who is gentle and loves people. I am an incredibly respectful individual who loves good food, eating out and enjoying the beach. Given I travel quite a bit, you will have the added benefit of the house to yourself quite a bit!
Hi everyone! I'm a full time student studying my Bachelors of Nutrition, and work at a cafe/food store. Super clean, friendly and respectful of everyone's space. Love exercise, nutrition (obviously), chocolate, the occasional wine, travelling and brunch :)
Down to earth, friendly, family oriented country gal. I have OCD tendencies so will keep the place looking super schmick (haha). I work full time in HR and like to think of myself as a fairly easy going person. I like to make my home a safe and warm environment and am hopeful to become friends with my roomies. I am a respectful housemate who loves a good chat and of course a netflix/movie sesh. I also appreciate privacy and some solo down time. I enjoy a glass of wine every now and then but I mostly spend my time brunching with my friends and being active. Annoyingly I am one of those poor souls who is intolerant to a number of foods but you'll still see me finding clever ways to trick my stomach into thinking Chocolate is a vegetable (haha).
Hey I'm Alex, I'm 28 and work in social media/marketing for a uni. On to more fun things, as much as we all like to think we're unique, when writing these I realise I'm very much not that unique. I like hanging out with friends, going out, but also like a good Netflix/Stan binge sesh too. Really into music and do some freelance music journalism too so I sometimes have spare +1's to some great gigs (think The Wombats, Jimmy Eat World, Grouplove, Foo Fighters, British India, San Cisco, Alison Wonderland, Temper Trap, Allday etc) around Melbourne. Love checking out live stand up comedy too and going to the movies. I used to work at a cinema for 8 years so despite how expensive it is I just can't stop going to see movies at the cinema. Really into sports, mainly AFL, soccer, basketball and then cricket in summer but don't mind tennis, baseball, ice hockey when it is on. That being said I unashamedly like a lot of (stereotypically) girly stuff like reality TV, in depth chats, rom-coms and the like. Don't see liking non 'manly' kinds of things as an issue at all to be honest. I clean up after myself, I am a great "vacuumer" (drilled in from the cinema days) and can confidently cook about 7 meals and have a crack at a few others, I mean what's wrong with cooking stir fry every time? I like to socialise with housemates and become friends but at the same time I'm pretty happy with my own company too. I also have my own friends so I'll try not to steal yours but I make no promises if they're cool, and if they give me free Calippos then I can make no promises at all. I have a car so if you don't, happy to go on grocery runs or to the bottle-o. I have very few useful things like a bed and so forth so happy to move into a furnished or unfurnished room. However what I can provide is a SodaStream (they're amazing), PS4 privileges, Harman Kardon soundsticks speakers for the lounge if needed (look them up they are super cool). I'd like to think I'm fun to live with, love to have a laugh. Working 8:30-4:30 I don't come home at random hours and make heaps of noise. And if I have a big night out I'll always try and be quiet and respectful when I come in. I'm currently crashing with my sister and husband in Balaclava and they have a baby due in Feb so I have to get out by then, but preferably by the end of November. Pretty much looking for anywhere in the east/south-east from the CBD to about Kew/Camberwell, don't want to live in Burwood where I work because as you'll know if you've been there, it's not the best. Preferences would be the following suburbs: St Kilda East/Balaclava//Windsor/Ripponlea/St Kilda/Prahran/Richmond/Caulfield/Elwood/Elsternwick/South Yarra/Armadale/Malvern.
I'm a 22 year old currently taking a break from study, working in sales. I spend most of my free time training for my competitive cheerleading and dance squads, and also enjoy watching tv and playing video games in my spare time so a decent internet connection is a priority! I have a four year old dog, a fluffy little Japanese Spitz named Sora, that I am hoping to be able to bring along to my new home.
