Hey all! We are both country kids who have moved to the city for uni/work. We've been dating for four years and having both been renting separately for the past year, have decided to live together as it makes sense cost wise. I (Casey) will be studying full time at Adelaide uni and also work part-time. I'm not a very loud person but love the beach and being outside during the day and movies on the couch at night. I will be studying a lot so keep to myself during the week. Aaron is working full time while completing an electrical apprenticeship. Like myself he's not a naturally loud person but given the chance to know someone he can be a lot of fun. Coming from a family of wine makers He's a big fan of wine and cheese (free wine!) And also loves a good movie, especially horror films. We are both great fun to live with and are looking for either an empty room or people wanting to team-up. Don't mind too much on location but just put a few general areas we would be happy with.
Hiya, I'm looking to join an existing share house around Adelaide city and inner suburbs. As an ambivert, I'm friendly and communicative, but usually prefer to keep to myself. Non-smoker, social drinker, quiet, responsible, considerate, clean and tidy. Into wellness, spirituality (Quantum Physics, LOA), art/s, travel, photography, and music. I'm just back from living in the UK for 4.5 years and am starting my own business - so the 'working part-time' box fits better than 'unemployed' or 'working full time'. I've also selected 6 months as my 'preferred length of stay', but this is negotiable either way.
I am an open minded, friendly, neat and energetic guy. I love sports, music, cooking and traveling (Been to 32 countries so far) :), i work a lot, so will be out most of the time. But when i am home i make sure that everything is in order :)
My name is Scott Hickman, I'm a 26 year old single male from Canada here working with the Adelaide Bite Baseball team as the AGM and Facility Operations Manager. I love all sports and was a university volleyball player for 5 years. I love meeting new people and love random adventures.
Irish guy, very easy going and allways up for a laugh and a chat. Clean, tidy , respectful and considerate of others working hours. Usually working long hours and training during the week but like to leave myself free for a for beers or a day out at the weekends! Also do some fifo work so may be gone for 3 weeks at a time so you'll have the place to yourself :) Just looking for a decent housemate (s) that you could sit and have a coffee/beer with at the end of the day every now and then and can be considerate of others need for sleep during those big working weeks!! Would be great to meet over a coffee or beer to see if were on the same page :) :)
I'm Spanish and I'm going to study English in Adelaide at language school and also will try to find a job with my student visa. I'm a quiet, tidy and cheerful person. Now I smoke, but always outside, about to quit we'll see though ;) Please furnished private room with bills and internet included. I forgot ...love animals, so if you have dogs or cats, I'll be the happiest woman :)
I'm 32 years old, working full time as a kindy teacher in a early learning centre. I'm patient, compassionate and very easy going. I have a caring nature towards others and tend to be known as a bit of a 'people pleaser' I enjoy 'me' time but I'm also very social. I enjoy the great outdoors, going out with friends and I'm always excited to met new people. I enjoy a good laugh and making people laugh. I'm also a massive animal lover!!
23 yr old working full time. Looking for a place 26th November. Easy going, tidy but also like to have a good time :) I'm not home alot as im usually working, diving, or out and about. Respectable of peoples privacy.
Hi There, I'm Nate, 29, Mechanical engineer/project manager. Avid cyclist and rock climber. excellent cook (handy with a cocktail shaker too) and very sociable guy. I work a lot and don't really party/go out much, but I do love a beer and a chat at the end of the day. I have almost a full house full of furniture if you need anything, but otherwise happy to put it all in storage for the time being. I've lived in share houses for the last 5 years and am well versed in the etiquette required to live with other people. Hope to hear from you soon!
Edit - house sitting over December, early January so on looking from mid January now I'm a kiwi originally but have been living in Dubai for the last 6 years. I am married, with 3 primary school aged kids but they will be staying in Melbourne while I work in Adelaide from late November until early July 2017. I'm looking for preferably furnished accommodation with just one or two other people. Although I haven't been flatting since my 20's I am well house trained and very good at getting on with all sorts of people and doing my share of cleaning etc around the house. I'm pretty easy going and have a good sense of humour. I will be working at the airport and will be doing shiftwork on a 24/7 roster. Most shifts will be during the day but I will need a place where I can sleep during the day occasionally or get an early night on the weekend so don't want a party house. Having said that I am more than happy to share a drink on the days I have off. I will also try to get back to my family in Melbourne on a regular basis so I won't always be around either. I'm a non smoker, live a reasonably healthy life style and happy to be around most pets.
I am currently working 3 days a week in the city and looking to rent a nice house with one other female. I have a 2 year old son so looking for someone who doesn't mind kids or another single mum! Would be nice to have a bit of a backyard and our own bathrooms. I don't have any pets and non smoker. I have my own furniture. I like to relax in the evenings and am usually out and about on my days off and weekends, or at the gym. I am very clean, tidy and can cook and enjoy a wine or 2! Not fussy on suburb as long as it is Western suburbs within 30 mins from the city.
Hey my name is Bri. I work in the city, and I'm looking for a place that's within easy walking distance of the Seaford train line. I'm an avid cook, musician, artist and beauty therapist. I am very social, enjoy a drink (or three) and a chat over some food but I am also very respectful of the personal space and privacy of others, and expect the same in return. Ideally I would like to live with other like-minded creative people who are about the same age as me (10 years older/younger is no problem). I am equally comfortable with male, female, or any other gendered person as a housemate, my main goal is to live in a relaxed, drama-free place near the beach that will be my sanctuary of calm and awesomeness. I am not a full time smoker, but I have been known to indulge (outside only) and would like to live with other people who can respect that. Background info, I am originally from Victoria/New South Wales and have only lived in Adelaide for a couple of years but I love this city and look forward to getting to know it better. I studied Fine Arts at uni, hold a certificate in Museum Practice as well as a Diploma of Beauty Therapy. The length of stay didn't have an 'I'm flexible' option but if I did find the right house with the right people it would be nice to stay for longer than 6 months. If you have any questions or think I might be a good fit for your place send me a message! I look forward to speaking with some of you in the future. Cheers Bri
We are a quiet, tidy, outgoing and friendly couple, but we aren´t into partys. Who just came to Australia and looking for a place to stay. Caroline can cook, is creativ and likes art. Max is handy, smart and a filmfan.
Hey! I'm Hayley, I'm a 19 year old girl who has been living in Falls Creek working as a housekeeper since June. I'm an easy going person who is reliable, tidy, clean and respectable of people and their belongings! I work in hospitality and plan on working full time hours but haven't gotten employment yet due to not being in the area until Saturday 29th. Although I would like to pursue animal careers. I'm not a big party person but I'm very open minded, 4:20 friendly and LOVE animals. :) I would love to find a house with young lovely people for the summer! I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi! I'm Tess. I'm 28 years old, currently working full time for the government and studying Nutrition (online, full-time). I moved down to Adelaide from Cairns in June of this year because it was time for a change and so far I am loving it down here, though it has certainly had its moments. I'm really outgoing and love to get to know new people and new cities and am always up for an adventure and a challenge. A little about me - I work hard with both my job and my study. After work I head to the gym or go for a run, I love to keep fit...but don't worry I hate Crossfit and I don't eat Paleo! Sorry if you do ;) I'm not a party girl (except on the odd occasion), most weekends I love to go to the markets and find great new little cafes to eat at. I like a glass of wine every now and then (hence the move close to the Barossa), you'll win my heart with a bottle of red and a cheese platter. I love to cook and am known at work for my baked goods, I'm an ex beauty therapist/make-up artist, I love to explore the great outdoors (though you'll never get me out camping). In Cairns I lived in a share house, we were all very clean and had no issues with cleaning rosters and all that jazz. I'd like to live somewhere close to the city, currently I'm in Camden park which is so convenient, my work is right in Rundle Mall . The unit I'm living in has just sold which is why I need to find a new place, this also means I have a unit full of furniture too! I have two cats that are still up in Cairns, though I would like to bring them down in the near future.
27 y/o backpacker from Germany. Recently started my Farmwork with long days during the week and some saturdays. I’m a very relaxed person, approachable and easy going. I like to drink a beer now and seen, watch movies, play videogames/board games and do sports. I like a clean and comfortable environment and so I’m also tidy. Also open for nice weekends with BBQ and some drinks. Want to have a good time while staying in Adelaide.
Looking for one or two similar aged roommates to start a share house ASAP! Please message if you are interested :) Looking around Brighton/Glenelg/Seacliff/Hallet Cove/Seacombe etc. as I'd love to stay near the beach/nature and am studying at Flinders next year. But willing to be flexible. Just need to be near-ish to a train/tram line for work commute. I have an awesome trick-loving, small staffy X that I've rented with for years. Very lovable and happy to share her space with another dog. Outside during the day, inside when I'm home. She's a champ! I work full time and like my own space as much as I enjoy sitting on the couch hanging out and having a laugh. I'm always out adventuring on the weekends. Love being outdoors. Must have a sense of humour (or at least willing to put up with my bad jokes!) and easy to get along with- NO drama! 🙂 ***Sorry but not interested in moving into a spare room in an existing share house! Team ups only***
Iam a 28year old professional work full time. Iam mostly away during the week and back at weekends. I just need a safe secure place for my car and belongings... secure garage is a big plus. I need an unfurnished room or rooms as I have a sofa and tv unit. Thanks Amy
Hi i'm an easy going, quiet and sensible guy, looking for a summer seachange. Interested in tech, sport, movies, beach, cooking etc. Looking for bedroom and office in shared 3 or 4 bedroom place as I work in web development 4-5 days a week from home. Would be good to make some new friends along the way so feel free to message, cheers.
I tend to be a really social guy, always down for a beer and a laugh. Summer is my Jam, I'd spend 99% of my time down the beach if I could! Work full-time as a Club Manager for Goodlife Health Clubs which takes up most of my time. Motivated, determined and keen to live with someone who isn't too serious and can have a laugh. Beers and beats for the win 🍺☉
Hello, I am Jemma and I am currently in the process of relocating from Wellington (New Zealand) to Adelaide. I excited to have been promoted to work so I am leaving NZ behind to move over to lead a team in one of the local hotels, it will normally be a Mon - Fri job. I am all about relaxing after work and having a bit of chat, in the weekends I won't say no to a couple of drinks. Because I am new to the area, moving in with someone who is willing to show the ropes would be perfect. My ideal flat would be a nice modern house, 2/3 bedrooms. I would love a furnished room as I am not moving with furniture - I am looking for a place only until the end of Januaryz
Hi! I'm Andrew. I'm looking for a new home as my current housemate is moving interstate. I'm into movies, gaming (PC, WiiU, n64), and most other things. Not a big party animal but I like to drink occasionally with friends. I'm currently studying psychology at Adelaide uni and will be going into honours next year. I'm also working part time at westpac.
I start at finders university in 2017. I'm currently living in Canada on a work visa until January and looking for housemate/s to live with when i get back. Im easy going and clean. Musician, Fitness, Social and always keen to meet new people.
Hi, I am Geraldine. A 23 years old nursing student and a part time Enrolled nurse. I am looking for a friendly home with clean environment as well as relatively quiet. I am looking for housemates who are diverse and are restful of my culture/beliefs . I enjoy cooking/homemade meals. Id prefer an ensuite room so to have my own bathroom and toilet, but I'm equally open minded with sharing should I find a room that is suited to my taste. And of course safe, secured off street parking. Cheers.
Hey everyone, I'm currently working part time but am actively looking for more work. Looking to go to uni at some point in the near future. Chill, laid back person. Pretty social as well. Love playing bass, writing music, watching AFL and ice hockey, playing video games and socializing and going out with friends. Looking for someone who is laid back as well and is ok with having people over :)
I believe that I am great to live with because I am a 19 year old independent man on the mission to live my life in the best possible way I can! I study hospitality at TAFE, but my real passion is to write. I love writing. I love reading. I love listening to music. I love socializing with my friends and experiencing new life experiences - originally from Lobethal, currently living in Eastwood and my rental situation is that I'm allergic to my roommate's cat so it's kinda hard to live here and I just want to find somewhere with roomies who are sociable but let me do my own thing, independently - maximum I would be willing to spend is $140 a week - maximum bond I can pay is one week's rent but no bond would be better (the 140 a week is including bills and internet - spending 140 a week currently and I'd rather not be spending anymore than that unless there was internet and bills included in the rent). I'd love roomies that I could actually be friends with! If you're interested - message me and get to know me better!
Hey guys my name is Rikki-Lee, im 22 ( 23 in 20 days and currently working part time. I'm studying a diploma of Children services online and three/four times a week I help my mate with his renovating business. I'd be an awesome roomie, i get along with everyone, clean up after myself and always make sure my rents/bills are up to date. I'm a clean, bubbly, relaible outgoing energizer bunny. My parents own a pig farm south of Tailem Bend and i grew up on the country so I'm indepentdent and impervisie. I like going home everynow and then to see my family and get some space from the city life. I love meeting new people and love letting my hair down. I've got previous references that wouldn't say a bad word about my realestate history :)
I am looking for a new place call home with some easy going, fun loving, house mates (preferably female) who will be happy to share their home with me and my two furbabies. I currently work full time and also casually in hospitality so I come and go and fair bit and when I'm not at bootcamp or hot yoga I enjoy dinners and chats over a glass of wine and movie nights in with a glass of wine. Did I mention wine? I'm not looking for a party house but I do like to have dinner dates and the occasional night on the town. I come with baggage (dont we all) - two well behaved indoor cats who spend most of their time sleeping, eating or chasing each other around he house (well the younger one chases, the older one runs away). I hope that my new housemates can get along with my feline friends. If you are keen on teaming up or have a room to rent let me know. I am hoping to say out in the Western suburbs, near the beach or close to the city. Send me a message if you are keen! Happy house hunting 😸
A 21 year old Registered Nurse who is originally from Mount Gambier, SA. Moving to Adelaide to study Midwifery. I like to keep my spaces always clean & tidy, and also like to keep bills to an absolute minimum. I love cheese & wine nights, and enjoy adventures into nature! Nightclubs are overrated...
I am a 27 year old student looking for a house to live. I'm friendly and enjoy others company and meeting new people. I know when to have a good time and enjoy a wine or two and times when to give people their space. I am a neat and tidy person who like to keep the house in the same condition. I tend to keep to myself due to my busy schedule trying to juggle uni and work. I look forwad to hearing from you soon. Hayley
Hi I'm Fiona!! I am 26 years old, originally from country Victoria but have become acustomed to the Melbourne city life! I am really easy going and get on with everyone (sometimes a bad trait as I seem to attract interesting people when out and about!). I am a qualified primary school teacher and I absolutely love what I do!! I have the older kids so I'm definitely not an arts and crafty prep/kindergarten teacher! Although, I wish I had some of those skills! I am engaged and am getting married on the 6th of Jan!! :)) Oh god, I still have so much to do! If I get a housemate that is super organised that will be a bonus! :) The reason I am moving to Adelaide is because I have signed to play professional netball with the Adelaide Thunderbirds. So I am making the move at the end of Oct, without my fiancé! We have done the long distance thing before so it will be fine! I love going for brunch! So ideally I find a housemate that loves heading out to try the local cafes!! I'll obviously be very active and will be cooking pretty healthy meals while at home. I do however love a glass of wine and a good chat!! I have lived in sharehouse situations for the last 8 years. I understand share house etiquette and I'm not anal over small things! (I have lived with boys for the last 6 years, so I'm used to dealing with their messy ways!) Not sure what else you write here? But get in touch if you want a housemate that is a bit of a goofball, up for a laugh and is happy to do her own thing. Cheers!! Fi
I'm a friendly, outgoing socialite but in my down time would love a drama free zone, so looking for preferably a male housemate that is happy to chill out and help me create a happy home. Easy going, tidy and healthy would also be positives :)
I'm Fit, I'm Flirty and I've got Double F's hahahah jokes jokes (Geordie Shore joke lol) Uhm well, I don't like talking about myself for starters haha but, I'm Portuguese, Brazilian, Timorese, African and I come from a pretty big family and we are super close... My mom thinks I'm cool so there's that. I think I'm funny, people laugh when I'm around... still don't know if they're laughing with me or at me hmmmmm. I enjoy dancing and music and I can be loud sometimes (blame my inner Latino), but i'm also super chill. I'm a uni student at Adelaide Uni, I'm super active and I love being outdoors... if the beach is involved, put my name down for that :) I love dogs and I love to eat (not dogs.... Dogs = friends not food) yum yum.
Hey I'm Nadine, I'm in Adelaide for about 6 weeks for a course. I'm currently living at a backpackers hostel but would love to have my own room and space. I'm clean, tidy and respectful of your home. I'd love to live within a few km's of the beach too but I'm happy to consider other places. If you have a dog I can walk, even better!
Pretty relaxed person, i do work full time as a butcher in plympton. This means early morning starts, but i promise to be quiet as possible. I enjoy sports and relaxing after work playing on the computer (good internet please) and having a beer. I cook all my meals and clean up after myself, i can operate a washing machine and know how to use a mop and broom. Looking for a modern house.
Hey, Brad here - I'm about to come back over to Adelaide to work for the Summer at a local radio station. I'm 25 years old, love the round-ball football, getting out and exploring, and am about to launch into the startup scene. I've signed on a short-term contract in Adelaide which runs out in mid-March, so I'm essentially looking for a place to park myself for the next 6 months, with a view to staying in Adelaide permanently if a full-time position comes up. Would love you to get in touch if you have something close to the city or the beach, as they would be the ideal locations I'd be looking to live in. An apartment or townhouse in ,or close to, town would be preferable. Also, I won't be bringing any furniture to Adelaide, so a furnished room would be even more desirable. Cheers!
Hey I'm Kait, I am looking for a house to move into until September 2017. Close to the city with my dog Pepper; a five year old dalmatian who's very well trained and a outside dog. She gets along with everyone and all other animals. Bit about my self. I work at an on the run while looking for other work. I am also a vet nurse what's a bonus if you have any pets that need looking after. I am not a party animal but i do like having a few drinks after work and relaxing with housemates. I like cooking and sharing meals with the house. I would really like to move into a house with people my own age (20 to 30) If you think you have a place for me please call or msg me
A kiwi couple from NZ, Molly was born in Port Augusta but lived in Canterbury most of her life and Chris is a Wairarapa born and raised farm boy. We're so excited to come over the ditch for the summer and hopefully meet some great friends while we're there. Both of us have come from long term flats, and are clean and helpful flatmates but love spending time in communal areas hanging out with our flatties. We've also spent this year doing some travelling around Europe between studying (Chris has graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Agriculture and Molly is an under grad law student) and have lived with all sorts of people through Air BnB. Our plans are to work over the summer and between working, spend heaps of time exploring and experiencing all Radelaide has to offer.
Between the beach and CBD, every location is considered! We are a couple from Brazil and will be moving do Adelaide in February 2017 to attend Torrens University. I, Isabela, will be pursuing a Bachelor´s degree in Commerce and Finance and my wife, Giovana, will be a student of a Master´s Degree in Global Project Management. We are looking for a flatmate to share a great place. We enjoy sports, music and binge on Netflix! We love a good wine and food. We are not party animals but do enjoy on occasion going for a night out. The perfect place would be a room with ensuit or own bathroom, and close to public transportation. Our campus is at CBD!

Hi! my name's Drew, I love to have a chat, get along with anybody, and have shared houses before & am well aware of the etiquette required! I'm currently completing my Pilot's licence, so spend a lot of time studying, along with leading an active lifestyle & I attempt to eat healthy when I can be bothered. I am usually attached at the hip by my 4 year old english staffy (the smaller kind!). Everyone loves Hank when they meet him, he's very quiet, very well trained & loves people. Anything else you need to know? Don't be afraid to ask.
I study at Marine Biology at Flinders University. Im easy to get along with, always willing to talk, quiet most of the time, loves to cook and get creative and I have a wide range of interests. Whatever your lifestyle is, I'm accepting and interested to know more.
