I am originally from the Blue Mountains and moved to Wollongong 8 years ago to study. I have completed my degree and have been working full-time for the last 5 years. Outside of work I enjoy Krav Maga, Jiu Jitsu, boardgames and hanging out with friends. On Saturday mornings I assist teaching kids Krav. I am relaxed and spend my spare time outside with friends or catching up of whatever series I am watching. I am a non-smoker and don’t drink. I am happy to team up and look for a place or move in to a place that is already set up. If I sound right for your place get in contact and I would love to meet up and see the place.
Hey team! I'm a kiwi gal, coming to Wollongong for a 6-month work placement at the UOW (Oct 2019 -May 2020). I'm a super respectful, tidy, and friendly housemate, and I would love to live in a social flat with some other cool kids. I'm really easy-going, and enjoy getting outdoors for adventures, as well as dancing, cooking, and meeting new people. Please get in touch if I sound like I could be a good match for your home sweet home.
I am 20, studying Criminology at UOW. Rameekha is 21, doing a full time traineeship in dental assisting. We are both organised and extremely clean people to live. I have been living alone on campus for nearly 3 years and undergo fortnightly cleaning inspections, so i'm used to keeping my surroundings tidy. Rameekha and I (not a couple, just friends) enjoy a night out on the rare occasion but also love a night in watching movies with friends or just our personal space. We both love cooking and sharing cooked meals throughout the week, which would be ideal for a third person to be apart of. Overall we are looking for someone who cleans up after themself, doesn't party every week, but is down to go out every now and then for some drinks, someone who is friendly/easy to get along with. If you are interested, we would love to have a coffee one weekend and meet you to discuss further details! :)
I'm a massive nerd, my main hobbies are stuff like video games, anime and manga. I'm pretty quiet, but enjoy socializing with people as well. I'm not a 'party person' in any sense of the term, though I don't mind if my housemates are. I'm looking for a decent sized room, one where I can comfortably fit a double bed, TV, desktop computer setup and all my clothes and such. Ideally the house has a 100Mbps NBN connection (happy to pay extra if you're willing to upgrade to that) and a bath, but I'm willing to consider anything that I can lock in for the 6th of November. I'm home most of the time as my main income is the DSP and I do part-time work from home, but odds are that I'll be in my room the majority of the time unless actively socializing; I don't really 'chill out' around the house. I don't make a lot of noise, and everything I watch or listen to is over headphones.
I’m a clean, considerate & bubbly person who is a great cook & loves a good chat over a tea or wine. I’m currently studying marketing and journalism, I work in real estate and at Mecca maxima. I love the beach, brunches, swimming, surfing, the gym, walking, adventures & travelling. I’m looking for a flat mate/S who are likeminded, easy going, fun to live with & good to go out with too with similar interests.
Hey! I'm Mackenna and I'm planning on moving to Wollongong in 2020 to start my studies in Social Science. I love cooking at home and a glass of wine and enjoy a social household as much as a Netflix binge. I am a clean and respectful person and I am an ease to live with. I will prefer to move in mid-December, but am looking at feelers to secure a place now. :) (I currently live in Wagga Wagga, I am willing to come up to meet you, any potential roommates and look at the house at my nearest convenience)
*I’m looking for an upgrade from my own 2 bedroom apartment that I’ve been renting. Independent, honestly quiet, respectful, reliable with rent, expect to pay bond, familiar with receipts and double-ledger accounting. Familiar with legal tenancy, additional occupant, strata bylaws, body corporate etc. I’ve got a legitimate good rental history. Barely drink, only social, and never to excess. Genuine non-smoker (not even Marijuana), don’t touch drugs doesn’t interest me, as I’ve grown out of the party scene & my friends classify me as 'straight edge'. Previously been an Airbnb superhost, I’ve seen it all, and there’s a reason why my budget and expectations for a property are higher, 'Quality not quantity'. I have an eye for detail, cleanliness, and maintenance, I won't disrespect or damage your property as I want to be comfortable in addition to receiving my bond back end of lease. I learned maturity and necessity for domestic duties from 16 & in the military (Army). I study a bachelor of Nursing at UOW, and spend majority of my time away from the house. I’m also a dog walker for a Siberian Husky, so I can live with and know how to handle and look after animals. I notice a lot of flatmates bullshit you, tell you after they move in they have a freeloader partner or friends always dropping in, you’ll never find another one like them, are alcoholics or immature, and don’t pay rent or bond on-time... well I’m in a strong position to say I’m unique. I’ve seen every walk of life, I have empathy for people’s plight, no empathy for the tight arse who wants everything for nothing type, but I steer clear of strife, and hanging with the wrong crowd. I’m looking for peace and quiet comfort, I’ve lived life, I dislike dishonesty and discomfort. I have no preference for male or female flatmates, I’ve lived with both, as long as the place is kept hygienic, not disturbing anyones peace, I'm only there to sleep (occasionally socialising when you want to meet, or share meals/eat). I’m not wanting to move in with the intent to pickup, I have alot on my plate. Believe it or not I’m a comfortable single straight cis male, with no hang ups, ex-wives, kids or a need beyond decent, respectful good company and my apparently ‘boomer’, or polar-opposite wild friends which I will keep to the bare minimum (self inflicted excessive partying is not my thing... that's why they love me, token sensible one). Definitely not pc, neither am I naive, so much so I’ve been trusted in some very interesting private circles, nothing illegal, I’m just very empathetic and easy to get along with. So as you can see I’m upfront enough not to play games with flatmates.
Hi I am a young professional in health sector who is planing to relocate to Wollongong for work. I really like to maintain my place clean and tidy and I like to make my places pretty with flowers and some cutes decorator. I enjoy exploring my cooking potential as my cooking skill is not great yet. I like to respect each other's privacy and keep a bit personal space, however, I can be quite sociable and outgoing. Have a quick chat every day. Joined dinner or go on hiking and beaches occasionally.
