Looking for a furnished private room/place to move into ASAP for six months to infinity. Would prefer my own bathroom (or shared with one other). Non-smoker and would prefer to live with other non-smokers. LGTBQI friendly, animal lover (especially cats) but not bringing any with me. Would prefer an all female flat, or a mix of girls and guys. I'm 27 years old, working in digital advertising full time and just finished my masters last year. I work in Pyrmont so ideally looking for something within walking distance or close to the light rail or a train station. I'm very chilled and sociable, but also like my downtime and respect other's space. I like quiet nights in watching a movie, drawing or learning a new language (I speak six). I also enjoy swimming and trying new cuisines. Traits I appreciate in a flatmate are cleanliness, respectful in regard to noise and privacy and just being generally friendly. I've lived in a variety of situations including on my own, in a penthouse apartment in a hotel, flatting with singles and couples (straight & gay) and in a dormitory. Happy to provide references from previous places if requested.
I'm a very relaxed guy from Mexico in my 20's currently working in media, and music events. I've been living in Sydney for a bit more than 3 yrs, and consider myself a very sociable and respectful person. I enjoy doing climbing and being outdoors when I have the chance. Interested in living with like minded and considerate people.
Hello, I am Fazia. I am 27 years old and i just recently moved from Melbourne with a full-time engineering job. I enjoy an occasional glass of red and some GOT/westworld episodes with the housemates, or hitting the gym during weeknights. I am a sociable person but I need my downtime too. I am easygoing, clean and respectful. I am airnbnb-ing atm and hope to find a place I can call home by first week of April :)
I'm respectful of peoples spaces, very mindful of shared areas. I believe the kitchen, bathroom and laundry should be the cleanest rooms in a house, but saying that my room should be pretty clean also. I'm pretty easy going and love a good chat over wine!
Hi there, I am looking for someone who would like to combine with me to share a lovely 4 bedroom house anywhere in the Inner West, allowing us each to have our own bedroom and our own work space. I am a hypnotherapist and tarot reader who has been running home practices since 2006. I’m looking for someone who would like to share a house where you could work from home, either as a therapist, practitioner, sole-trader or even student. Together, we could look for the right house that works for us both and move in somewhere over April or May. I was thinking of rent between $350-$450 each and of taking a 12 month lease. We would share the usual rental costs and living expenses and we could also unite on business costs if you're interested. This could suit any form of self-employed person who wants a combined home and work space. If this sounds like something you may be interested in, please send me a message. I’d love to chat! Thanks :-)
Prepared to spend more for the right space. 35 years young, single, simple respectful gentleman. Easy going and able to get along with people of all ages. I'd love to team up with someone clean and hygienic to rent a place as I am relocating for work. I exercise regularly (trying to get rid of this spare tyre) at the gym, I'm a professional in the property industry and find Krispy Kreme doughnuts ironically liberating. I'd prefer to live with a female mainly for hormone balance. I do try to eat well and am an amazing cook. I respect privacy, can take a joke, occasionally smoke (never inside) and maintain a clean criminal record for security vetting reasons. I have a kind heart and believe in being fair to my fellow humans. Don't do drugs or party hard so prefer that sort of behavior be kept away from our home, am totally up for socialising though. Would be awesome to make a new friend and hang out during mutual down time. I'm reliable and respect privacy so looking for the same. A secure parking space would be ideal. Oh, and I cannot stand when something smells in the fridge, if it's rotting, lets chuck it out shall we?! Best of luck to you all. Cheers :)
Hi, my name is Courtney and I'm an Australian girl in my early 20's that works full time in the central CBD, My interests include fashion, music and fitness and love dogs, I also like to spend time in the kitchen and cook nice meals :) I get up early a few times a week to train boxing, I'm looking for a place close to public transport, I'm shy at first but do open up once I get to know people Thanks
Hi everybody! I am a masters student working part time. I study philosophy and am interested in everything. I'm fairly quiet but enjoy good conversation. I'm an avid gym-goer with certificates in personal training, I like bushwalking, board games and cooking. I love learning new things and meeting new people!
I am searching for a room close to the University of Sydney. Ideally, if it's within 20 min of walking distance or not more than half an hour with public transportation. I prefer single rooms, but shared rooms are okay, too, if the flatmates are chilled out. I'm friendly, very tidy, like to meet new people and go out. I will spend most daytime working at the university, thus I am very easy to live with, since I basically just need the flat as a place to sleep (and eventually eat). Most of the times I'm a relatively quiet person, but when I beome a little chatty, you just can tell me. I really like to cook and try out new things. Since I am a vegetarian (don't worry, I won't try to convince anyone), I am pretty eager to try out new ways to cook my all time classics (I've been pretty good in preparing meat before I quit). Thus I'd really like to cook together or for a group. I especially like asian and mediterranian cuisine (or what I make out of).
I am a happy, outgoing entrepreneur who loves playing guitar, dancing, playing tennis, meditating, healthy eating and living, doing random acts of kindness, finding reasons to laugh hysterically and better yet inspire laughter in others! I love being present to the incredible beauty and possibility in every new moment! and being around others that share that love.
I'm looking for a place for 3-4 nights per week with the freedom to stay in town longer when necessary. I own a house in a small country town 2 hours north of Sydney but am now teaching film production at two universities in Sydney two days a week and look after my little grandson on the third day. I also own a successful film production company. I also have a beautiful very well trained kelpie x dog - older now (but not smelly) so no longer active at all. I clean up after her at least once a day. Bringing her with me is essential as my partner is working in NZ for the next six months. I'm a very clean and tidy person, I love gardening, enjoy cooking and good wine, am interested in world affairs and am secretly addicted to Netflix. I have two adult daughters and a small group of wonderful friends who mostly live out of Sydney.
We are a kind, considerate couple who are really busy working and studying. We are both into fitness and healthy eating and our typical routine is work, gym, healthy dinner & a bit of TV/reading before bed. We're both friendly people but love having a quiet, peaceful place to come home to.
Hi, My name is Bharath. I'm a software Engineer and I work in Parramatta. I'm in late 20's and i don't cook at all. I'm very social and enjoy things like seeing a movie, have a good conversation, drink a glass of wine or beer, I also like to give each some space. But on weekends I like to go out for dinner, movies, music fest and a good party. I lived in United states for 5 years and travelled/lived in few other countries as well. Relatively clean, Looking for housemates I can be friends with (hanging out, etc...) If you would like to get in touch please don't hesitate to contact me via mobile phone, email or message. Thanks Bharath
SATAN, ...... nah just kidding but hope i got your attention.. no one's called me and I'm " sulking " so thought i'd try something different so read my blurb or your soul is at risk. Lots of smilee faces. I'm joking, seriously. I'm not even religious, jeez! so serious. Changed my rent limit from $350 to $320 to allow for "bills" LILYFIELD is my preferred location, the others are options lowering in importance the further they are away from LILYFIELD! Stupid site keeps listing Abbotsford first. Nope not first. Smilee face here. Would prefer to start a house share anew as I have a bit of furniture but open to existing ones. I'm an actor who works as a bush regenerator to pay the bills. Trying to quit smoking, badly, but NEVER smoke inside of near open doors/windows. Do not like bigotry of any kind and quite a lefty greenie who is into natural medicine (contradiction I know re smoker) but love science and modern medicine as well. Quantum physics fascinates and confuses me at the same time. Prefer one flat mate only and prefer female but open to any reasonable offer. Massive animal lover, all types right down to the smallest insect. Really want to stay in Lilyfield but the general area will be ok. Parking: don't need a secured space but do need reasonable street parking.
I am a 21 year-old student from Belgium, looking for a place to stay! I have been accepted to do an internship (as part of my degree requirements) in Leicchardt. I would like to get to know the people I live with and enjoy the time I have the best I can! Always in for trips and travels :)
I am a social person, who loves a good chat but also respects the need for your own space & downtime. I like to keep the place clean, and will tidy up after myself. I work full time as an operations manager. I love a good laugh, good wine, eating & trashy TV. Most weekends I'm out & about or away. During the week, I'm a Nanna & love an early night. I'm looking to move into a place with a positive vibe, with people who are friendly.
Hi! My name is Livia. I am from Japan but worked in Austria for last 7 years. I am a professonal shoemaker and going to start work from April in Sydney. I am always very positiv, easy going, creative and respectful for other people. I am tidy and very easy to live with. I am used to living with people for long time and I had always good experience with flatmates! I LOVE cooking, traveling, exploring, gardening and meet new people. I wish to find a place where to spend my grate Australian time with nice people! ;-)
This is Luca. I am a 38yo guy who is very down to earth and reliable. I like to have a chat but I understand people need their own space as well. I am full time employed looking for a room in the Inner West. Feel free to drop me a line if you think I could potentially be a good fit. Cheers :)
Hi, I'm Lily. I'm in my 20's and am an artist and full time professional in the art industry. My hobbies are painting, cooking, going to art galleries, reading, going to the gym & watching netflix. I'm super clean, friendly, creative, and respectful of space, but also can be up for chats, occasional dinners and a couple of wines with my housemates!
Hi, my name is Tim and I am moving to Sydney as an international student at The University of Sydney. I will be undergoing my masters degree in Data Science starting Semester 2 2017 and finish 2018. I am from Hamburg in the north of Germany. I studied Information Systems before and am currently working for an IT-Consultancy in Hamburg. I love watching sports (and also do some, although I'm not good at any ^^), especially football and American Football. I also like to watch good and challenging movies and play video games. But I'm also always up for a drink and some partying or just a BBQ or something.
Currently looking for a few friendly people to share a home with. I work part time in the city, and am studying creative writing and get along with pretty much anyone who isn't racist/ sexist/ homophobic etc! I'm tidy and friendly, I enjoy some quiet time but won't object to sharing a beer or a wine together every so often. Send a message this way if anyone has a room available!
Hi, I'm Hannah! I'm 26 and work in the wonderful world of advertising. I'm a friendly, relaxed and tidy housemate with a good sense of humour. When I'm not working, I like to explore restaurants and bars with friends, try out new recipes at home, or get lost in a good book. Looking for housemates who are keen to catch up over a drink every now and then, but also respect the need for privacy. Look forward to meeting you! :)
Hi, I'm Nicola. Currently studying - Diploma of Costume at Ultimo TAFE, i'm creative and fairly social, happy to have a glass of wine or a G&T and a chat, yet i definitely like my own downtime, and am happy in my own company. Not a big tv watcher so there'll never be a tussle over the remote! (although if you've a good movie up your sleeve, happy to keep you company!) I pretty much like all types of music except country and western but don't make a habit of turning the volume up, preferring to read a good book or do a spot of painting/sewing/other creative stuff. I'm a clean up after myself as i go in the kitchen and tend to keep my stuff out of common areas (unless you like books, then i'm happy to add to the bookcase!). Easy going, open minded and like a good laugh. Ideally a room with either a mostly north west or west aspect is what i'm after, for the light - it's all about the light! Even a mostly north with bit of east will make me happy, as long as there's loads of light for my artistic pursuits. High ceilings would be great but not a "must have", prefer an unfurnished room but i can also work with furnished. If you like to have the odd impromptu party - not crazy kinda party (although i DO love a good costume party!), more the dinner party kinda thing, or mates over, that's fine by me - i may join in, invite a friend or two of my own along, or leave you all to it, either way, i have no problem with that sort of stuff if that's what you like to do. I don't have a pet, but if you have one that'd be awesome! Dog/Cat cuddles are the best!
25 years old. Writer/journalist/musicians/hospitality worker. Great to talk to about anything music, most notably hip hop and electronic. Love a drink and a good time.
I've recently moved back to Australia after a stint working overseas, I'm now working full time and looking for a place to share in Sydney. I haven't lived in Sydney for about six years, so i'm keen to join a reasonably social household and meet some new people.
Hi! I'm a quiet, clean, easygoing Sydney gal working part-time and studying at Usyd. I appreciate privacy but definitely happy to share a meal and socialise w/ housemates, whatever suits you! When I'm not at uni or work, I love a bit of baking, reading, music (listening and making), bingeing netflix shows I don't really care enough about to be bingeing, and a glass of wine or two.
Hey Guys! So I'm not really sure what write here but hopefully you will get a a good overview of my current life situation :) so here we go haha My name is Victoria, I'm 22 years old and I am currently studying a bachelor of design with my major in fashion marketing. When I'm not at uni or studying at home most likely I'm at work, I work part-time (15-20 hrs/w) at David Jones Online in the city which is great :) In my free time I like to catch up with my friends and family either for dinner during the week or out for a couple of drinks on the weekend (depending on my schedule). In all honesty, I'm not much of a club person but I do like to socialize over drinks or food (like who wouldn't want to over food, lets be honest here), meeting new people and making new friends :) I'm pretty chilled out and quiet when I'm home, basically because I see a home as a relaxation haven rather than a party house. I appreciate quiet and serenity especially during busy periods in the year. Like everyone else sometimes I enjoy being alone and I respect other who need the same space as well so I am looking for a home that appreciate the same above all else :) Overall, I love a good chat, good food, nice drinks, me time and puppies :) (if you have any puppies please take me in, thank you ) I hope you guys find this useful and adopt me as one of your own haha Xx Vic

I consider myself clean and considerate. Let me know if I suit your household dynamic! Charli
I am a 22 yr old working professional looking for a place close to the city. I am clean, sociable and looking for flatmates I can have fun with and develop friendships. I am a journalist by profession so I love reading, writing, watching films and just chilling watching Netflix with a glass of wine.
Always happy to chat but also like having chilled out times reading, listening to music and whatnot. Work in the arts sector so enjoy all things creative, plus beach, tasty foods and wines, walking in the park, chatting with cats and dogs, all that jazz :) Looking for a share house for a couple of months while wrapping up work in Sydney before joining my partner in the UK, currently living in Newtown.
I'm 22, working a receptionist for Google and IBM. I'm responsible, kind, clean and always pay my bills on time. Definitely queer and veg friendly, also love animals. I'm a creative personality, I love movement, dance, singing (not at 3 in the morning I promise), yoga and pilates. I've been in Sydney 2 years and I'm looking for a long term place with people I would in time be able to call friends. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me and let me know if you want to meet so I can see your place.
I'm quiet, tidy and mostly keep to myself. I like to cook and if there is a garden I'm likely to be found in it. I'm studying teaching. My friend is a student of engineering, plays classical music on his keyboard mostly and is fairly sociable. Both of us are people of colour and into left wing politics.

Hi Friends! My name is Ellesha, I like reading, music, going out for dinner and spontaneous fun times! I'm looking for a place that's roomy and a bit pretty, with cool people who are working or doing postgrad study. I work in the CBD, will be studying at USyd, and generally like to go the beach or out into Newtown on the weekend. Send me a message!

Feel free to message me if you'd like to know more, looking forward to meeting some of you :)
I'm an 18yo student, looking to move closer to campus. I currently work part time running the social media accounts for a medical company. I love cooking and baking, getting outside and adventuring. I'm super great to live with, clean and tidy and there will always be baked goods in the house. I have a cat named Puddin, would love to have him move with me, but otherwise he'll just stay with my parents so no dramas. :)
Hi! I'm Anthony, 23, from Hong Kong. Right now I'm taking the JD programme in USYD, so I'm looking for a place that's close to the campus, for a minimum of 4 months, starting from 18/19 March. Private room is preferred, though sharing a room with a tidy, clean person is also fine with me. I'm an easy-going, clean and quiet guy. Not a party person particularly. Don't smoke. The workload of my course is pretty intense, but I’m totally up for socialising with housemates at weekends. I'm really looking forward to moving into an awesome place with nice housemate!
I'm 24 and I work full time; moving to Sydney in April for work for a minimum of 1.5 years. I'm a VERY tidy person, who wants to move in with like-minded people of a similar age. I currently run a warehouse shift in Melbourne, but will be moving to Head Office in Sydney for three six-month rotations for my graduate program. I will be working the usual 9-5 during my time in Sydney, and that means I'll be unwinding most weeknights. Love a night out and getting stupid on the weekends, but that's few and far between - I'm down for clubbing but prefer drinks at a bar or a chill night of BBQ and drinks at home. I'll always be down to socialise with roommates, but I do like my own time to myself too. I also have a miniature dachshund called Obie who's housetrained, but makes the odd mistake here and there. I will be trying my hardest to find accomodation to suit, but family are more than willing to take him in if I can't find a suitable home. I have all necessary furniture and can bring a 50" TV with a wii and an xbox to sweeten the deal.
I'm an easy going guy that enjoys a chat and a drink, but I'm also very respectful of personal space. I'm a professional working in a senior management role in Sydney- recently moved with a view to call Sydney home. I've been working with the same company for 12 years, so I'm reliable with rent. I travel a fair bit, and work long hours too.
My name is Riley, 23, male. I enjoy surfing, reading, dining out, netflix, sports and cold froths. I've recently started a graduate job in Sydney and I'm looking for a warm home to stay in. I'm very neat and have fairly high cleanliness standards. Can poach an egg.
Hi! I am new to Sydney and am studying full time. I am looking for a place to live that is quiet, clean, and tidy. Happy to share chores. I don't mind having a chat/drink/bad TV binge, but I also respect personal space. Definitely not looking for a party house. On the weekends I like to go out and explore Sydney, go to cafes, and love bushwalking.
I've been in different places, this time is Australia's turn. I work full time and I like to spend my free time at the gym, playing soccer, reading books and working on my poems. So I am not really a "party guy" but I can enjoy a cool beer with an interesting conversation. In general I am a quiet, humble and tidy man who wants a warm place to sleep in the next weeks.
Hi! I am considerate, clean, respectful and honest - looking for the same! I'm social and like to have a chat, but I also like my down time. During the week, I go out sometimes (going to gigs or hanging out with friends), but mostly it's pretty low key - going to the gym and then hanging out at home. I like to be out and about on the weekends.
My name is Josh, I am a 22 year old male who works in the I.T. Industry full time in the CBD, loves technology, reading, playing games and going out with friends. I am a pretty sociable person but have no objections keeping to myself either. I am out most, if not all weekends at concerts or clubs I previously stayed in a house in Claremont meadows with 3 other people and with a couple in St Clair (previously strangers). I am currently looking for a place to stay long term around the Inner West/City areas.
Hello, I am a new PhD student at University of Sydney. I'm 28 years old. I have received University of Sydney International Scholarship to study PhD in communication engineering. I've done the master degree in USA after receiving a scholarship too. With that said, I am a totally academic person. However, I like to watch movies, play video games, and do different kinds of sports. Originally, I am from middle east. I am looking for a shared place that is relatively not far from University of Sydney, nice, and relatively inexpensive. On weekends, I like to have fun and experience special activities of Sydney, such as surfing, in order to recover from the hard study.
I'm Charlotte, employed in the cosmetics industry and studying sociology at UNSW. I love the Inner West and am looking to relocate from the Blue Mountains to be closer to work, uni and friends. I am easygoing and independent.
Hey everyone! I am 28 year old Sydney gal that is looking for a place to call home -long term. I work full time in the CBD usually 5-6 days per week. I am looking for an open chill environment, friendly and sociable but I do like some down time also. I am interested in anything that sets a creative vibe, I love nature, yoga, live music, cooking and definitely a pet friendly gal! Looking for a room thats unfurnished.. I also come with a fancy new washing machine.. if thats at all helpful! along with a few kitchen odds and ends. Look forward to hearing from you!! :) Move date 1st May 2017
Hi! I'm Cassidy. I'm a peaceful, respectful individual who keeps a home clean and tidy. I enjoy hiking, crafting, hula hooping, cooking and visiting farmer's markets on the weekends. I enjoy taking care of my health. I'm great with kids and pets. I have lived in share houses since I was 19 and am always considerate of others and their routines. I'm not a big drinker or party goer. I generally tend to keep to myself though I'm always up for a chat and dinner. I'm a vegan however am flexible in living arrangements if there is a good fit! I hope to hear from you.
Hey I'm a friendly 27 year old from Nepal.I am looking for a tidy and good size room to live. I work full-time, 5 days a week, usually long hours. I keep things pretty neat and I will be respectful of your place.
Hi everyone! I'm looking for a place somewhere in the inner west/central Sydney. I'm looking for somewhere to move around May or June and I would be interested in teaming up or moving to an available room. I finished my social work degree about 2 years ago and I've been working in the homelessness sector since then. I've shared places before, but I'm currently living alone in my own apartment. I'm now looking to return to study to complete a Bachelor's degree in Criminology which means my income is going to skydive, so I'm keen to share again! I'll still be working as well though, so don't worry - I can pay rent hahaha. I'm pretty relaxed about things and don't mind loud music or friends coming over. Im happy to move to a party house, quiet house, creative house... whatever, im adaptable, as long as I can get my privacy too. I can become a bit of a hermit, but definitely enjoy a board games night or a few drinks. I'm vegan - I don't care what you eat at all, get the BBQ out! But if you want to share any meals... I only eat da veggies. I really like The Office (and other shows), I have a bicycle, I love cooking and I really like learning.
Hi, I am Danny. I am 33 years old and single male. I am an accountant. I work full-time near the city. I am looking for an accommodation all for myself or TEAM-UP/SHARE near city. Any train station and a gym at a walking distance are a MUST. I have a notice period of 3 weeks at my current accommodation which I will execute once I have found somewhere to move into. :) I like cleanliness around the house. I am a very easy going person. I am usually on the go at the weekends which would include going to a pub/club/restaurant or a meetup, playing pool, staying out the whole night or just stay at home and read a book or watch YouTube videos or a movie or marathon of any sitcom with a pizza and beer or whatever the mood is... I go well with people from all backgrounds. I respect privacy but also like to have a good chat (who doesn't?) and keen on doing joint activities with my roommate(s) like barbecue, groceries, shopping, gym, movies, sports or whatever they like. I am always open to doing new things. I have a new found love in karaoke lol. Not sure how long it will last before I hop onto some other interesting activity. I am very punctual about paying my rent and would want a roommate (in case sharing the rent) who always pays the rent on time. I am not looking for just another human being living in the same house who I barely talk to, unless they have a touring job or something that keeps them out for productive reasons. I look forward do build friendship with the people I live with. I am a vegetarian (not a vegan). I cook (not bad actually), and I love to cook for others too as long as it does not involve meat. I make my own cheese. :) I have no problem whatsoever if you eat meats. I do have problem with the smell of some sea foods though, like dried prawns. I volunteer with a food charity. Food is my passion. IMPORTANT: I have a queen size bed, an entertainment unit, a buffet table, a coffee table, a six seat dining table without chairs (BYO chairs, LOL), a 3+2 (recliner) lounge, a 3 door (385 Ltr) fridge, a big ass 65" 4K TV, home theater and a microwave, all of which I am happy to share. I do not have a washing machine. Depending on the rent and space I am happy to move some of my non electronic gear to a storage. I have a large sedan so would need some sort of parking. I do not have any pets. I love dogs. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers! Danny
Hey guys! We've just returned from a ski season in Canada & looking for a place to call home in Sydney. We are super friendly and laid back, enjoy socialising and a casual bevvie here and there. We both absolutely love the outdoors and being active. We're really tidy and have lived in sharehouses before and know the drill and will keep the place super clean. Keen to meet new friends!
I'm a mature male who is work focused, stable, clean and tidy. I'm a trainer and a coach, who gets along with a wide variety of people. I respect the people around me for who they are and what they stand for. I'm married and my wife and son are living overseas.
Hi there, I am Yuka looking for a place to live for potentially a long term. I've been living here in Sydney with lots of housemates in a sharehouse/homestay for more than two years so I think I'm good at living with people and I like hanging out with my housemates :) Thank you,
I'm easy going, chilled out. Clean but not anal if there's a small mess. I like my gaming and watching Netflix. I enjoy cooking and having the occasional drinks with housemates.
Hello, my name is Sarah. I just got back to Australia from travelling India for 6 months and I'm looking for some vibrant shiny humans to share a home with. If we are at home together we can drink tea (or wine), chill, chat, do yoga, or be creative. If you're really lucky I'll make delicious raw treats and put them in your lunchbox. One of my hobbies is being tidy and another is respecting our house as a home ✌🏻️
Hello potential flatmates, My name is Lucy. I'm a very keen traveller but when I'm back in Sydney I study Speech Pathology at USYD. I lived overseas in Italy for years and am looking to find a house with sociable, fun, respectful and tidy people. I'm very easy going, I love sport, eating and drinking, good music and great company.
I'm a friendly Kiwi who plays guitar full time for the government (no joke!). I'm currently living in a one bedroom place in Marrickville and am looking to move back into the right share house. Dinner conversations are becoming a bit repetitive on my own.... I'm tidy, housetrained, love a glass of wine/beer with good conversation and enjoy cooking. When I'm not working I like going to the beach, gigs and discovering new pockets around Sydney to go bushwalking or general exploring.
Worker and student in psychology studying at unsw looking for a long term stay with friendly, quiet people in a house 🏡 😊
Hi, My name is Lucas Forbes. Nice to meet you. I am a freelance tv producer, and about to start a new full time job as a Travel Sales Consultant. I'm 40 years old, but don't look or act a day over 35 :) I am not a partier, but am loads of fun. I love a good laugh and tend to get along with every one. I am quiet, clean and considerate. I am looking for a private room, not a share room. I would be looking at moving in about 1 week and would love to hear from you. Please feel free to email me. Kind Regards, Lucas
Hey, I work part-time in mental health and study nursing. Very clean (!), tidy, respectful, nice, calm, and considerate I've been in Sydney for just over a year. Lived in NZ for 16 years prior, originally from South Africa
Hi potential future flatmate! I'm a 25yo recently graduated psychologist working at Randwick who is looking for a place I can call home! I'm easy going, pretty laid back and love to meet new people. Trying new flavours of Messina is one of my favourite past times (ha), as is dancing and losing myself in a good book! I'm always up for a good chat but I also like having my own, quiet space to wind down, so I of course respect others' need for space. I'm looking to find a place that is ideally long term and to find flatmates I can hopefully come to call friends :)
Location flexible: looking for a private room in a quality environment in most parts of Sydney. I'm a single, mature-minded, quiet, and respectful full-time IT professional and occasional music nerd with an intellectual/artistic bent. I like to work from home if that's acceptable to all in the household. Parking required.
Hey! I'm Laura, a 29 year old female professional originally from Melbourne. I've been living in Sydney for just over a year now. I'm clean and very considerate. I currently work in Finance but am actually quite creative. My I like drawing, art, design, exploring, walks, bike rides, tea of all sorts, drinks with friends, the beach, brunch and meeting new people. I pay bills on time, tidy up and always make an effort to respect others. I like to keep things fairly quiet during the week but enjoy a laugh over some drinks from time to time. I say I'm into exercise and healthy eating but I'm not always great at actually doing it. I hope to find housemates that enjoy hanging out at times, maybe play a game of cards and have a couple of drinks, but I also respect people's space. I have a bunny named Hans. He's house trained, uses a kitty litter and doesn't cause any issues. I'd keep him in a courtyard/veranda and let him inside on occasions as he likes the company. I hope you'll consider me as your future housemate! Cheers, Laura
Hello! My small dog and I are looking for a home. We are looking for housemates who LOVE DOGS. I am looking to live within walking distance to a train station or light rail station as I don't drive. Sorry, I am not looking to share with any smokers. I'm a 28 years young full-time 9am-6pm working professional in the photography industry in the CBD. I'm a non-smoker and born in Sydney. I am honest, responsible and clean. I keep my personal and communal areas clean and tidy. I am respectful of other people and their personal space and property. I'm friendly, like to hangout/chillout and like to get to know people. At the same time, I'm quiet, shy and like to keep to myself as well. I'm looking for a place to live where it's quiet, drama-free and not a party house as a good night's sleep is very important to me. During the working week, I like to take my dog for walks, go to the gym and go to bed as early as I can. On the weekends, I like to treat my dog to the dog beach/park, skateboard and cook. I'm looking for flatmates who wouldn't mind feeding my dog once in a while when I stay out past dinner time if I'm out at a music concert or doing something at night. Of course I'd be more than happy to doggysit my flatmates's pets if they'd wish :) My dog is a 6 years young male Chihuahua. He is doggy door toilet trained, desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. He is a clean indoor dog and sleeps on my bed. He needs to have access to indoors and outdoors when I'm not home so he can go to the toilet outside and sleep inside. I have a removable doggy door panel which is simply a vertical panel of glass with a doggy door at the bottom which slots in next to a sliding door. He loves people but needs time to warm up to them, so he is shy and nervous initially. He is friendly and playful with other small dogs. He hasn't lived with another dog before, but I think a dog friend would be good company for him as he doesn't like to be home alone. Sorry, he is not cat friendly. He loves going for walks, playing ball and following me everywhere around the home. He does bark when someone leaves or enters the home, but only for about 30 seconds. He also barks if he sees another dog walking outside from the home window. So we are looking to live with people who are understanding and tolerant of these now-and-again barks. He is very protective of me, and becomes scared easily if treated badly by someone and may nip to defend himself. So please, we are looking to live with DOG LOVERS ONLY who will show him lots of love, and won't grab him or yell at him aggressively. The only piece of 'furniture' I would be bringing to the communal part of the house is my 17 years young fish and his 90 litre fish tank. It would be ideal to have the tank in a communal area as he likes to watch people walk past and he swims after them. It would be fantastic to place the fish tank close to a sink for easier changing of water. My interests/hobbies include going to the gym, skateboarding, going to music concerts, taking my dog on mini outdoor adventures, watching movies, film photography, board games, and arts and crafts. I would organise my own food as I cook fresh meat and vegetables for my dog as well. I would most likely cook my week's worth of food on the weekend then freeze it so I don't have to cook during the working week.
I’m Kate, 26 yo from Bathurst, have just left my home of over two years in redfern. I'm a musician so I come complete with a host of instruments. (I recently acquired a xylophone, so, that's useful to have around, right?) I will be around the house a fair bit, I'm usually listening to a podcast and doing something creative. I love gardening, having a laugh, chats and hanging out with housemates, and all things creative - crochet, sewing drawing, painting. I have many art/craft supplies in tow. I’m a non drinker, non smoker, non partier, I'm looking for somewhere that isn't a party house, but housemates that have the occasional drink about the place or friends round is fine by me. Need my alone time but would love to be able to spend time with housemates too. I’m looking for housemates that are comfortable with communicating. It’s really important to me that my home environment is relaxed so I'd rather talk face to face than have things brewing. I tidy up after myself and like to keep things clean. I would ideally like housemates who are willing to do their share of cleaning too. I'm a fan of the cleaning roster. I'm hoping I can find some folks with similar interests to me.
My name is Lucy, I'm a friendly and tidy flatmate. I'm currently working in Martin Place for a catering company and volunteering at Greenpeace on their Digital Engagement team. I just got back from a European tour and am residing in The Blue Mountains at the moment, I want to move to the inner-west because I want to live closer to where I work. Added to this I love the culture and friendly community the inner-west has to offer.
I'm from Portland, OR in the Northwestern US and am excited to be spending the year here in Australia. I have lived with roommates in the past and I'm good at keeping living spaces clean, I enjoy cooking at home more than eating out, and I have an easy-going, open-minded attitude. I enjoy keeping up with science and technology, watching live music, meeting new people and exploring new places.
21 male from Sydney's Inner West. Clean & tidy. Fully licensed carpenter 🔨
Hello there, I'm currently looking to move back to the Inner West area after 2 years of trying it out in the Eastern suburb. About me: a full time professional who prefers some some quiet time when I'm not working and I do enjoy a company or two for having a good conversation over drinks and home cooked meal. Movies would be a plus. Definitely respectful of other spaces and rules around the house and I am expecting to meet the same. I like to consider myself as a social person and I do like my place to be a non-party environment. Anyway it'd be better to meet in person and I'm more than happy to answer any questions to tick your boxes!
Hey, my name is Will, 26yrs, came to Australia one year and a half ago. I'm currently studying at UTS in my second year. I'm a very quiet, tidy and easygoing man. I'm a non-smoker but if you somke on balcony or outside the room it will be ok. I'm single and have no pet. I'm looking for a quiet bedroom or share the house with other guys, so if there are a lot of parties in your house then I think I'm not the right person. If you think I'm the person you are looking for, you can leave me a message( I will be online almost all the time in recent days.)
