Hi, my name is Peter and I am moving from the Gold Coast to Hobart!! Inspired by a recent holiday around Tasmania, I've decided I need more time to explore this beautiful part of the country. I'll arrive in Hobart on the 17th of February with my car and staying with friends for a short while. I have organised with my current employer to continue working remotely offering IT support. This will mostly be working from my computer and taking phone calls from 9:30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday. If you have a good internet connection (ideally NBN), large bedroom that can double as a small office or a bedroom/study combination, please let me know!! If you work during the day I will mostly be out of your hair as I usually have a very active social life and when I'm not working, I'll be out on adventures and travelling around!! I'm usually pretty quiet but social, confident but very easy going, tidy, always happy to help (but I’m no cleaner or cook), non-smoker and have no problems with animals or children. Feel free to message or call any time and I can provide references as requested. Thank you :)

Hi, My name is David and I will be moving to Hobart very shortly to start the paramedic programme at UTAS. I am looking to rent a room in a fun, chilled, and happy house. I am originally from Ireland and very easy going, fun, respectful, clean, average cook but great at cleaning. I will be at uni most of the time and in my spare time I train, love being outdoors, hiking, the odd night out.
I moved to Hobart in November for a PhD in marine ecology at UTAS and am currently looking for a long-term rental. Priorities: I am a respectful house mate and I hope to live with people who are of the same inclination: respecting other peoples' space, being clean and tidy, and good communication are all important. I am very open to hanging out and doing things like cooking dinners with house mates. A garden or balcony to grow some fruit and veg would be a major plus. I have no pets, but love animals. Am open to house mates who have/want pets! Look forward to hearing from you! :) Cheers, Kieran.
Hello potential house mate, I am looking for a shared house close to UTAS as I am starting my second year of marine biology. Changing from JCU Townsville as I wish to work in the Antarctic. I am currently overseas at the moment so please email for now. I love travelling and all things outdoors especially when it comes to the ocean. Plus Tassie has skiing so looking forward to falling over a few more times :p and the summer hike via cradle mountain. Not sure if I am fit enough for that one yet (we will see.) If you have any questions fill free to ask. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I am moving from Ballarat (near Melbourne) to Tasmania to complete my Masters of Psychology (Clinical) at UTAS. I will be in Tasmania for two years and would love to find somewhere I can stay for both years. I am very quiet, clean and hardworking. I am a very fun person who enjoys socialising, but will also be very busy studying and on placement these next two years. I have never paid my rent or bills late and I am incredibly organised. I can start paying rent anytime and have full support from my parents, centrelink and will be working. My girlfriend of four years is living in Melbourne and so I will be there visiting her many weekends/university holidays. I am originally from The United States, but please don't hold that against me - I can make some mean southern food!
