Hey all, I’m a full-time design student currently looking for a place to stay in Hobart. I’m a laid-back friendly guy, dubbed a model tennant by my previous landlords. I have house-share experience and have a wide range of interests and hobbies; I’m able to find common ground with almost anyone. I love a good social outing and will generally be down for a chat, drink or adventure somewhere. As a creative I do value my own space and privacy though, finding it a lot easier to kick goals when I’m able to run on my own time. Currently getting around on a motorcycle, so I do require some sort of off-street parking for the time being (although it takes up next to no space at all).
Hi, My name is Scott and I am 26 years old. I recently moved to Hobart and I am a working professional. I am very neat, and enjoy hanging out and keeping active. I love the outdoors and try to go camping or fishing whenever possible. Looking for a place close to a bus service as I work in the cbd. Thankyou,
Hello! I am Maddie, a 24-year-old freelancer in theatre and events. I am relocating from Melbourne to Hobart to start a new job with Dark Mofo. I'm a dog lover, gin snob, keen cook and very excited to explore my new home state. As a housemate, I'm a fan of tidying up after myself and respecting everyone's space, but am always up for a communal dinner, beer or Netflix binge.
I am a really easy going person. I just completed my masters' from Queensland, Australia and planning to move Tasmania. I am a kind hearted and multi-culture loving person. I like bushwalking, camping, meditation and adventure activities. I am intended to stay there for 1 year at least. expecting mindful people who can talk deeply about life and universe other than politics and people. :)
Hi :) My name's Talitha, I'm from Western Australia and I will be heading back over to Hobart on the 30th of January to begin my second year of a Bachelor of Marine and Antarctic science at UTAS. In my spare time I enjoy surfing, freediving, cooking and any and all adventures! I am quiet and quite clean so I am searching for a place with flatmates of similar qualities. I do enjoy a social drink and chat, however I also appreciate personal space and as I am a full time student and casual worker I am not interested in a party house. Looking for a place preferably close to UTAS. I am flexible with the length of stay, but ideally I would like somewhere until the end of the university year. I am also happy to team up with people and search for a rental together. Thanks!
Hi there! I've been living in my current place in Sandy Bay for about three years but unfortunately my landlord is selling place so I have to move out. I'm originally from New Zealand but Hobart's been my home for a long time now. I like to fix up old bicycles, and I volunteer at the Hobart Bike Kitchen when I'm not working in the city. I love music, and have done since I began listening to my brother's vinyl collection in the 70s and I'm still onto something new every month. I've been involved with the Wilderness Society for a few years now and help out where I can. When I'm at home I like to fix bicycles (did I mention bicycles?!), read sci-fi books, go mountain biking with my friends or go for walks. I'm pretty handy about the house and happy to repair things as I go. I tend to eat out, so I don't use the kitchen and I always tidy up after myself. I respect my housemates' personal space and their privacy, but I like a chat as well. I pay all my bills on time and pay my rent like clockwork. All in all, I'm pretty low maintenance :) I'm looking for something with easy access to the city on a bike or bus, between $180 and 220, depending on the place. Looking forward to meeting you!
Hello! My partner and I are looking for a room to rent or ability to "rent" a spot for our campervan for 3 months starting in March. We are easy going outdoor oriented folk. Love good coffee, social dinners, funny movies, and anything on or in the ocean!
Hey there, we are Javier and Nicole, a Chilean-German couple. We are looking for a place for us both, ideally close to UTAS. I am Nicole and already in Hobart and doing an exchange semester in Antarctic Sciences. Javier works as a programmer and will arrive in April to do an English course at UTAS as well. We would love to share some evenings with you or hang out during the day, if you're up for it. In our free time we like to go hiking or camping, going out for some beer and nice conversations at night and our newly discovered passion is photography. Javier is into music, computers, and videogames, while I enjoy painting and petting dogs (we don't have one though). We like getting to know new people and are easy to get along with. We are respectful and clean and we hope to find someone likeminded to live with during our time in this beautiful city. Cheers, Javier and Nicole
Hey! This is me Marie, the one you were looking for to share a place together! ;) I will be really happy to share also living times with you guys! I am staying in Tassie for one month at least. Do not hesitat to contact me to get to know each other! See you, Cheers!
Hi, I'm looking a room to rent for at least 6 months to 12 months, start on the first of March 2019 if possible. However, I prefer the nearby bus stop (2km would be still acceptable) or in walking distance to the city. A little bit about me, my name is Sukamto from Indonesia, 36yo, I'm a student from TasTAFE and I have started my course in the recent past weeks. I currently lived in Lutana. I'm extremely well clean and tidy, flexible as well, know how to keep my things organized and respect others housemates privacy and property. Am really easy going and respectful, and I will follow the house rules. If I have no classes, I spend most of my time reading books, play some game on lappy or maybe doing some outdoor activities. Or maybe we have some interest hobbies? Please shoot me a text. Gracias.
I have recently graduated and am moving from Sydney to Hobart at the end of February for full-time engineering work. I am easy going, but also organised when it comes to payments and keeping things clean etc, so I am searching for flatmates with similar qualities. In my free time I enjoy playing soccer, exploring the surroundings, listening to music and reading. I like to chat and socialise, but respect everyone's personal space and privacy. As I will be working full-time, I am not looking for a loud and rowdy party house, just a relaxing place to wind down.
Hello this is Snow- a nice human being to live with. I am in my late 20s. I would like to live in a place that is clean and tidy. A huge plus if there's a lot of light and close to nature. I work full time. During spare time I like to explore nature, music, theatre, and good food- I am vegetarian by the way. I also enjoy running and tennis.
Hi there. I have been living in Sydney for 5 years in shared room and apartment thus I know the duties and responsibilities very well. I am easygoing but at the same time I don’t bother other people too often. I am non smoker nor heavy drinker though I like fun at times. I am coming Hobart to study Commercial Cookery. I love travelling and enjoy cooking. If you like south Asian curries and spices, you are in for a treat coz I can make few 😋😋 varieties. I don’t mind sharing flat or room with honest people. If you have different hobbies, not a problem, I am up for learning new things.
Hi! I'm a 27 yr-old Brit who is working as an environmental research scientist. I'm looking for a place to stay from mid-March, ideally, although will consider other dates. I'm really easy-going and respectful and am looking for like-minded housemates who are up for socialising around and out of the house, but who also understand that people need their own space at times. I'm hoping to live somewhere that has a really friendly atmosphere - I'm looking to make friends, not just for a place to lay my head. I love the outdoors and would love people to show me their favourite hikes, climbs, bike rides and beaches. But also I enjoy city life - visiting art galleries, going out for beers and to gigs for the odd dance. I'm vegetarian (with the occasional relapse when I'm out and about) and play guitar, but you don't need to worry about me doing this at antisocial hours. I'm looking for a room (furnished or unfurnished) that is big enough to fit a double bed and my bicycle and is within a ~20 minute cycle (or 30 min walk) of Salamanca Market. Let me know if you think I'd be interested in your room. I'm also potentially up for teamups.
We'll be working in Hobart and looking to explore more of Tasmania in our free time so probably won't be home too much but we would like to find a place to call home, meet new people, start having a routine, going to the gym, yoga, and hiking.
Howdy, I'm an easy going Chef that enjoys a chat and playing sport, and watching sport also!! I'm a neat fella and dilligent with my finances. I have twin daughters who are 11 and they are my life. I enjoy all the middle aged stuff but enjoy staying young at heart!
