Hi :) My name is Leah, and I'm 21 years old, engaged, and looking to move to Hobart to a place where I can live and work. I'm a full time artist, and am job hunting. I'm looking for a place to stay for 12 to 18 months while the Fiance and I save up for our own place. I am currently self employed, and live on the money I make from my full time business, my savings, and from Welfare funds. I'm a non smoker, and I'm good with budgeting, (Rent comes first no matter what) I like a beer or glass of wine every now and then but I'm not a heavy drinker, and I don't do any drugs other than my prescriptions :) Happy to help out with the housework, and I always keep my space tidy and neat. I love the beach in all weathers, I love going on long nature walks with my sketchbook, cooking, and spending the evenings snuggled up in bed with Netflix or a book ^_^
Hi, my name is Tran. I will be a master student at UTas this July. I'm currently living in Adelaide. I'm pretty chill, organised and good at cooking. I also enjoy arts and film photography. I'd love to have a small chat during dinner, have some drinks or just go out to eat sometimes but still, want to have some private times for myself.
I’m easygoing, work full time with government, exercise regularly (karate), love music and laughing and relaxing at home with nice food. Tea drinker +. Cats are life. Looking for a chilled person to share a house with in Hobart area. I’m kind of introverted but do like a bit of interaction as well.
I’m a quiet student that keeps to myself, although I do love a good dance around and some entertaining banter. I’m also slightly coffee addicted. I am an online student studying a diploma in business and I run a small art business, I receive Centrelink payments as my main income. I do have a cat, her name is Avocato. She is trained and is an indoor cat, she tends to only go outside when she is on a harness and lead. Both myself and my cat do come with rental references. I’m 18 years old but I have been fully independent and living out of home since I was 15 due to a family situation. Because of this I am more mature than expected, I don’t really party or anything like that either. I’d love to hear from you, Jenna
Hi, I am Jackie, a postgraduate from the uni and I have a job in a Resort. I am looking for a place for long-term stay, preferable the Clarence area in Hobart. I am easy-going and reliable. In my leisure time, I like hiking, reading or having a coffee with friends. I am not a party animal, so I'd like to find a place which is relative quiet and neat, but I will be very happy to enjoy some wine and cheese with the housemates or watching movie together. Please contact me if you have a room up for rent. Cheers!
Always up for a chat with people. Work part time while putting myself through uni, getting closer to completing my Bachelor of Marine and Antarctic Science. Originally a mainlander but keen to make Hobart home. I'm looking for a room in a share house to lower my cost of living, and be able to enjoy life a bit more. I'm a believer that it's the people that make a home, not the walls and roof. Recently my ex has decided they no longer want our two dogs and I've agreed to take them on, so I'm looking for a place where my two 7yo maltese x shitzu and I could make a home. They are house trained, and also used to being outside when no-one is home. They aren't terrors likely to ruin furniture etc.
Hey there, future roommate(s)! I just graduated from my master's program and am currently looking to find work in the social work field in Tasmania. I moved from America on a working holiday visa (visa 462) and am in the process of upgrading it to a permanent visa (my master’s can qualify me as a resident in Oz). I like cooking for people and would totally cook for you sometimes. If you'd like to do a social roommate gathering sometime, I’m down for that too. If not, I am very considerate of privacy and space with anyone I’m living with. Personality-wise, I'm a fun, caring extrovert who likes a good amount of alone time too. I consider myself creative and quirky, but I think I'm also reliable and grounded in what I need to do to accomplish my goals. I honestly am so in love with Australia already and am so excited to make my life here. Tasmania is such a wonderful place to be, and I would love to share that experience with you! It's worth noting that I already have an online tutoring job with a Chinese company where I set my own hours (often this means weeknights or weekends). While I look for a social work job, it's important that I have chill roommates who are cool with me working online from home in my room. I'd need my own space to be relatively quiet while working and for our place has a solid internet connection. Please let me know if this would work for you!
Hi! My name is Amy and I'm 23 and my best friend and probably best part about me is my 3 1/2 year old rescue dog Popeye! He is obsessed with people and very friendly and fingers crossed is finally starting to mature a bit so he's getting quite mellow and happy to sleep the day away. As for me, I am a 2018 Utas grad (arts) student, just ya good old bachelors and I currently work at the Australian Taxation Office. Before that I was at the Dept. Veterans Affairs and before that I was a Dept. Human Services employee, so I've been in government for over 3 years now and before that I was a bartender in various Hobart waterfront spots which was a little more exciting. Although I sound a bit boring I can actually be quite fun I promise! I love a good drink and a chat, but I am not much into parties so that won't be an issue from me but am more than happy if you are! I also like camping, hiking, the beach, a good tv series, eating and going on spontaneous day trips with my friends and dog. I'm very clean, can cook (if you trust me enough I'd be happy to share meals) and am an overall happy person who loves a good giggle. Am happy to get to know each other well or keep to myself and will do my very best to make your life living with me as easy as possible! :)
Hi, my name is Zoie and I am currently studying full time at UTAS. I am looking to move closer to Hobart, anywhere that is close enough to a bus to Hobart! am looking for a place available in July, and am looking for a long term stay. I am a pretty quiet person, when I'm not out with friends or at the university campus i'll be at home reading, watching Netflix or studying. I enjoy cooking for myself, but I don't cook every night. I am also currently looking for a part time or causal job.
Hello! My name is Kyla and I'm a student at UCLA looking to do a semester abroad at UTAS. I'm originally from New York City but I grew up in Bali, Indonesia for most of my life. I'm very social and I love reading, dancing, practicing martial arts, watching TV, listening to music, and all things outdoors. I'll be doing a sustainability studies and wilderness protection program at UTAS and hopefully getting a part-time job in that field as well, so chances are I'll be out of the house more often than I'll be in it! I'm looking for a private room in a welcoming home of friendly and respectful women! I take good care of my spaces, I'm extremely respectful, I'm a great cook, and I'm never excessively loud. If that sounds good to you, then let me know! :)
Easy going, good listener, ethical, understanding, respectful, trustworthy, community minded, loves dogs ( have two of them that would come with me), good cook, likes watching movies and walking.
I am super clean and respectful. I am assistant manager at a hotel and work casually at a backpackers. I love socializing, travelling, outdoors and general good times. I also like my own space and am respectful of others too. I have a dog who would be moving with me so would have to be pet friendly. His name is Bert the American Akita, and is the best dude you'll ever meet. He's super chill and super fluffy, impossible not to like. My life is work, Bert, music and good vibes. If you like bears, respectful housemates and the odd chat and boozer then get in touch. We could make magic happen.
i am full time worker, i am working as a chef in mother india restaurant, and my wife is working as a casual. we are very pretty family. we are non smoker and vegetarian family, we don't have any pet.
Hey, I’m Taleesha (tend to go by TK more than anything) and I’m 19! My girlfriend is Kelsie and is 22, her and I are looking for a room or a studio/granny flat we can rent as the lease is expiring in the place we are currently in and we just don’t have the space in this room to live here as a couple comfortably for a long period of time! We’ve applied for some 1-2 bedroom units with no luck as of yet so thought we would give here a go! We’re both easy going gals who love a good time but also enjoy some down time. We’re respectful of others space and needs but always willing to hang out and bond whenever. We are responsible and honest people, love mellowing to some music, always up for a chat and giving some advice! We’re looking for a place that’s LGBTQ+ friendly as that is something super important to us. Somewhere close to the city and where we can reside for 6 months or more would be ideal. Also a bedroom with built ins would be preferred as there’s the two of us with no space for our clothes ahah..
