Work for myself as a plumber, also studying for my pilots license. Sports usually take up my remaining free time. Pretty out going, I don't really spend much time at home... Which I guess is a good thing for you? Tidy and independent... I am an amateur chef, but I do make this pretty bad ass taco/burger/burrito thing.
I am a Sydney guy who has spent past 3 years living in Melbourne and have recently visited Hobart and decided to make a move. I work as a store manager for fashion store in Hobart CBD and have been in retail for the past 8 years. I am pretty chilled guy who works hard, enjoys good food, gym, hiking and socializing. I love fashion, 80s music and vintage shopping. I am clean and tidy and drama free. I don't smoke, rarely drink and not into party lifestyle. I am in Hobart to start a new career and new life.
I'm very friendly and love people, love a good cook-up and chilling out too! Can talk about almost anything, but leave you alone when you need quiet too ;) I'll be needing plenty of alone time as a fast-track nursing student anyway. I am a disabilty support worker, non-smoker, neat and tidy around the home. I have a gorgeous 6yr old labrador I either can bring with me or leave with my folks if you can't have her, but trust me, you'd be missing out ;)
Hey! My name is Jessica, I am 22 years old and have only been in Tasmania for about a year after relocating from Kalgoorlie WA! I am a very relaxed, easy going person who is always up for a good convo and relax after work or on the weekends. I am clean and tidy and have no problem helping out with the daily cleaning. I am also extremely respectful of other people and their belongings. I am looking for a place with some friendly and amazing people, so if you think that I might be a good fit, send me a message!! 😊😊
Im a cleaner , I'm quiet , like to keep to myself but also can interact with people. Looking for temporary accommodation to save money before heading off to the mainland.
Firstly, I would like a place where I have my own PRIVATE room, as I'm rather antisocial and like to have my own space. I'm also a gamer, and would be fine with paying for internet bills. I would also like to be able to have my partner visit from time to time, as I haven't been able to find a place for myself :(
Hi future housemates! I will soon be moving to Hobart from Sydney (end of October) and looking for a room in a sharehouse. I am in the process of buying land and building a house which will be done late 2019 so looking to stay for a year. I don't know many people in Hobart so hoping to find a place with friendly people in their 20s/30s with similar interests that I can spend time with socially. I love a good movie night or board game night, always keen for a wine, and love road trips and live music. However I am also an occasionally antisocial being and will often disappear to read or listen to music in my room. I currently live in a share house and have for many years. I am very respectful, clean and a giant organisational nerd so will always pay rent and bills on time. I will be working in Cambridge but not super fussy about location. But proximity to work or good cafes etc would be great! I have sold most of my stuff to move down but I can contribute Stan and Netflix logins to the household. I will also most likely buy a Nespresso machine if there is not already one in the house. I absolutely love dogs and cats and most other pets. I'll be down in Hobart 21st-25th October so would love to come check out some rooms then. I'll be moving down about a week after this.
Hi there, We're looking for a chilled place where Buddy and I can be ourselves. I'm a 39yo student doing an accelerated course at TAFE's Warrane campus, graduating next year (with luck!). I'm generally quiet, reserved and happy to keep to myself, a non-smoker, and respectful of others. The fast-paced nature of my course means I tend to spend most of my time studying, and chilling out whenever I can with a book, a movie, or walking the dog. Buddy is my opposite – he's friendly, cheeky, and loves to make new friends, whether other dogs or humans. At 15 months old, he's still learning etiquette, particularly around people, as he can be pretty excited to see you, but he is slowly improving. He's well toilet-trained (as am I!), and he's the friendliest and most playful little bugger around. He likes to sleep with me in the bedroom, so a place that's cool with him being an indoor dog when I'm around, and has a secure yard big enough for him to stay out in when I'm out at TAFE or elsewhere would be fantastic. He can be a little destructive in the garden when left by himself for a few hours as he tends to chew things out of boredom, so a garden that's full of expensive hoses, irrigation pipes, etc, probably won't work. I walk him whenever I can and generally visit the dog park every day, so he isn't neglected and does get his exercise. I'm happy to clean up after myself, I like a beer most evenings, and I tend to be in bed early. I'm easy with what everyone else in the house does. My belief is being tolerant of each other's quirks go a long way to making a good household. I'm also reliable in terms of paying rent on time (I make an automatic payment fortnightly from my bank account, so I never have to remember it), paying bills, etc. Happy to pay bond too. Also able to provide a police check if you like, which I had to obtain due to the nature of my course work. If this sounds like we might get along, please do send me an email or SMS! Thanks :) Carey
Hi. We're moving to Hobart area from Queensland. Looking for a short term shared or longer term private appartment or house. Easy going. Friendly and fun. Both professionals. Past partying.
I am optimistic, clean and highly considerate. I'm a uni student studying sustainable development so I am eco-friendly where possible. I have a well mannered, obedient, and affectionate dog named Rondo. We've lived in many share houses so we understand what it takes to maintain a happy house and always do our fair share of the cleaning. Overall I'm just a positive person that's just happy to be here.
Hey I'm zoe I've recently moved to Hobart from Brisbane. I work full time as a head barista. So Naturally coffee is a big interest for me. I love to make coffee at home and share it around. I love to cook and bake treats. I'm not a partier but I am very social and love a good chat so would like to find similar people to live with. I'm very neat and clean and respectful of others space and possessions.

Hi! My name is Pirrin and I have recently moved down from Brisbane and am looking for a share house to move in to. I've just finished a 5 year stint working at the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane, and also a 4 month holiday in Europe! I'm now working casually in hospitality while I find my feet in Hobart. I'm a tidy and respectful housemate but also keen to make some new friends. I am looking for something relatively short term :)
Chatty, quiet, always up for a laugh, and easy to talk to over a cuppa. Enjoy cooking, and sharing my food. Studying Marine and Antarctic Science at UTAS and looking to move in with people after living by myself for a year and getting lonely!
Hello to everyone :) I'm graduated in Biology (Biodiversity), my boyfriend is doing a master in Aquaculcture. We are very quiet, sociable, tidy, clean, responsible people we like to cook (sometimes we cook Italian pizza). Thanks in advance to who will contact us!Cheers.
I am a Danish exchange student coming to Hobart to do a clinical placement at the Royal Hobart Hospital in the fall. I like travelling, red wine, lazy Sundays and hiking. I am easygoing and open-minded and I like being active, in particular dance and running. I am normally living in a flatshare in Copenhagen, so I know how it works. I hope to find a room/flatshare as I like the social aspect of living with other people.
Hi there, My name is Linnea. I'm a 27 year old Danish student moving to Hobart in the end of September for a clinical placement at Royal Hobart Hospital. I'm a friendly, tidy and respectful girl who enjoys doing acro yoga, hiking and socialising over drinks or food! I am either looking for a share (preferable in central Hobart or Sandy Bay, but everything is welcome) with people in a similar situation to myself who are friendly, sociable or a whole flat/property.
Hi There, I am mauricio, I am currently based on Melbourne, recently I got a job offer as geotechnical engineer (google it ;) ) and I am looking for a place to share and get to know some cool people. I am colombian, Ive been 7 years in australia, pretty easy to live with, super chilled, also I am doing my masters part time so I will be extremely busy. Additionally I do have a little ragdoll boy called, he is pretty well trained, desexed so no issues, pretty sweet boy. If you want to have a chat or anything just let me know I am also happy to team up :)
Hi guys, I am moving from melbourne to hobart for roughly 1year or so for work. I am clean, easy to get with. Understand other's privacy, as i have lived in shared accomodation before. I like cooking, hitting the gym a fair bit and drink or two over the weekend. Easy to get along with. If anyone is moving in the same date as me please contact me.
I'm a communications professional and writer, Hobart-local and easy going girl looking for a place to call home. I also have a friend who's a sports journalist looking for a home also - so happy to team up. I enjoy going for walks on the weekend, brunch, baking, walking my brother's dogs - two delightful pugs whom unfortunately won't be moving with me, and Netflix and chilling. Would love a house where I can develop a friendship with housemates - but also respect that we're all busy and enjoy alone-time.
Heya! I am looking to move down to Tassie from Sydney. I have spent a lot of time in Hobart over the last two years (monthly visits) and would love to make it my new home. I am ideally interested in Kingston/Kingston Beach/Blackmans Bay/somewhere on the water or close to a beach, but will consider other areas also. I have a bachelor in animal science and work with animals (animal transport/horse riding school) and I am in the process of applying for animal industry jobs in surrounding Hobart areas. There is also a possibility I will be doing some more study with an online course. I have two female border collie x kelpie dogs who I would LOVE to bring down with me (they love Kingston Beach and Alum Cliff track) but am finding it difficult to find pet friendly accomodation. If I am unable to bring them, that's okay. I'll be sad for a little while and talk about them lots, but they can stay with my parents in Shit-ney. I have previously lived in share houses with as many as 8 people in one apartment! I am super social and love a laff and bevvy with housemates. I'm a pretty rubbish cook but can clean / keep things tidy. I need and respect alone time to zone out and relax. I would love to find a place I can go to the gym, run/relax on the beach, do some exploring/hiking and make some new buds! If you have any questions or want to find out more - please hit a ginger up! :D (Moving date is very rough. Will move once i've secured a job. Ideally end of year/beginning of next).
Employed permanent full time and works Mon-Fri business hours. I'm reliable, quiet, and tidy with an easy going nature. Available to move in any date from early/mid October. Budget and length of stay both flexible. I enjoy walking and being outdoors, I like seeing live music and going to theatre and art events but my party days are behind me, now I mainly enjoy the comforts of a safe and friendly home.
I am a medical student who will be undertaking a 10-week placement st the Royal Hobart Hospital from mid-Nov to mid-January. I've lived with several housemates throughout my undergrad in Canada and am currently living with others through my med degree in Ireland. I get along really well with everyone and am great friends with all my housemates. I'm pretty easy-going and clean up after myself. I'm into sports, travelling, and winding down after a long day with a good bit of banter over some drinks. Drop a line if anyone's interested to offer a spare room/team up eh!
