Hi, I am currently a student at Monash University studying Primary Education and Science. I'm looking for a room to stay in for both semesters 1 and 2. I am clean, tidy and can look after myself. If there is something that needs doing I generally just do it, and I'm more than happy to help with household chores, cleaning and cooking. I make kick ass stews and like to bake. I am also a cheerleader and will be either training or working most nights of the week. Otherwise I like to chill out, read or play guitar. I've been playing guitar for a long time, and I generally play when I'm bored and there's no one around. I've traveled a lot around the world and lived with many different people so I generally just try and get along with everyone so we can live together.
Hey, I'm Phillip. I enjoy my sports, both playing and watching. I like to consider myself a bit of a movie enthusiast, I watch a bit of world cinema as well as English spoken movies. Enjoy the occasional book, but not an avid reader, uni killed that for me. I'm a science student at Monash. Learning German on the side. Always keen for some outside activities, having a hit of golf, tennis or going for a ride on the bike, even just going for a hike is always nice. I'm easy to get along with and I'd be a great addition to any household that welcomes me.
Hello! Bea and I are looking for a room in any house that offers an open and light environment. We enjoy music, art, gardening and nature among other things, and would love to meet anyone who would like the same. I will be studying, and Bea will be working, so we will certainly respect you space!
I'm just in the process of moving back to Melbourne. I'm 24yo, from rural Victoria, tidy, quiet and looking to share a space with people who are approachable and independent. Don't mind socialising or not if that's not your thing.
Hi! We are 3 Monash students, all postgraduate who are friendly and responsible. We are looking for 3 rooms in a house/apartment if possible. We are in our twenties, fun people who will be working part-time so we will be in and out of the house. Our moving date would be 13th Feb 2017, hopefully we can find a place by then! Our rent would preferably be $200-$220 per week for each person including bills. Do drop us a message if you have suitable listings. Thanks! Cassandra, Vinorra & Shalini.
Hello there! I am from Malaysia, currently in my final year of my degree in mecheng from Monash University. I am looking for a place for myself ASAP, and preferably not too far away from clayton campus! Most of the time I would be in the uni, however I enjoy socialising and would be down for a few bevs. I love the outdoors, enjoy going on hikes, camping and on weekends I go to gigs in the city. I'm clean, tidy and respect other's privacy when needed. If you are interested and thinks that I'm a good fit for the household please leave me a message. =)
Hi! I’m a final year medical student with placements in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs from mid-June to mid-September. As I'm from rural Victoria, I'm seeking furnished accommodation for that (admittedly odd) 3 month period. I've lived in share houses for the last 2 years and have plenty of experience living with others without major issues. I'm a tolerant, courteous and generally quiet and self-sufficient person. I don’t do much outside of my studies but I find a great deal of humour in everyday matters. And I am good at cleaning and doing chores. Please message me if you want more info or think you can help me out!
Hi. I'm a 29 year old primary school teacher. I studied Exercise Science in Melbourne and finished in 2009. For the last six years I have traveled and worked at Adventure Camps with kids. I have lived in Canada and England. I love being active, sociable and also relaxing. Respecting peoples things and space is important. I am currently looking for a place for myself, however in April my Canadian girlfriend (Emily) will be moving to Australia. She is a dietitian working in Uganda. We love to cook (Emily is much better than me, I am an excellent helper) and have a glass of wine/scotch. We are both very welcoming, friendly and positive people, it's important to us that any place we live feels like a home for us and everyone in it. If we are cooking flatmates/friends are always welcome to join, with no obligation. I am looking for a place with an on-suite/private bathroom. Male/Female/couples are welcome to contact me. If any of this sparks an interest feel free to shoot me a msg and we can catch up and see if it's a match. Definitely open to teaming up. Looking to move ASAP as the school term starts in less than 2 weeks.

Would like to have a temporary accommodation about a week or so before confirmation for longer stay. I like music and enjoy reading books. Would also like to get a cycle (any suggestion are welcome). You can contact me Thanks!!
I've been living and travelling in Europe for the past 8 months and am a very open-minded and easygoing individual. Im quite tidy and independent, but would enjoy having people to come home to and relax with at the end of the day. I love to cook and share food with anyone who has a free minute and a story to share, and I'm looking forward to yet another new start and adventure in Melbourne. I will be studying Advanced Psychological Sciences at Monash, and I'm looking forward to meeting new people and settling in. In my free time, I like to swim, go for long walks, hike, or visit the gym, practise German (I've just moved back to Australia from Munich), go for a drink/coffee and meet new people, and try anything that's a bit artsy.

I am an Italian postgraduate student. I'll be studying at Monash full-time and I hope to find part-time job, too. I'm very open-minded and enjoy being with people of all different backgrounds. I love traveling and outdoor activities, I do yoga and love to share my passions with others! Chill and easy-going, I can be quiet whenever needed, but most of the time I am social and talkative! I can cook Italian food (and love to cook for friends), plus I am tidy and clean and I love pets (even though I don't have any)! I don't smoke but I don't mind others smoking. I've been sharing houses and rooms for the past five years, which makes me an expert .. can't wait to discover Australia!
Hi, I'm Emily! I'm a student currently studying fashion design at RMIT and working part-time at Monash University with the Academy of Performing Arts. I work late nights for MAPA, so I'm looking for a place that is accessible to the Monash Clayton campus. I love theatre, sewing, reading, and hanging out with friends watching rubbish telly and movies. I'm a bit of a nerd. I'm a very clean roommate who loves to cook and drink coffee. I mostly make costumes in my spare time, but I've been known to make the odd made to measure outfit here and there. Who knows, there might be something you'd like that I can make for you! I'm looking to move out in March but could be flexible on dates for the right place.
Moving from Tasmania to start my first year at Monash, studying a double degree in Global Studies and Science. I'm easy-going, friendly and helpful, looking for something close to Monash Uni and transport links from early-mid February.
Hi, I'm Natalie. I'm moving to Melbourne from the Sunshine Coast so I'm looking to meet new friends as well as flatmates. Fun to live with but enjoy keeping to myself. I'll be studying at Monash Uni - Clayton. move in date flexible
- I Have been living alone for 2 years, i'm very clean and respectful of peoples privacy, love health & fitness, I like to have a chat & also enjoy alone time. Very reliable and loyal person :)
I am a 22 year old girl from Italy. I am an exchange student in translation and interpreting at Monash University. I am very laid back and love a good chat. I'd be a good flatmate because I'm neat & tidy, I'm easy to get along with and happy to pitch in and help around the house. I love cooking and watching movies. look forward to hearing from you!
I am going to be studying Nursing in Monash this Feb. Needless to say, its 2017 and I haven't found a place yet because on-campus accommodation screwed me. I am responsible, respectful, spontaneous and out-going. Hoping to find housemates and a place with equally warm and good vibes.
We're both respectful, mature women studying Biomedical Science at Monash University, entering our final year. We're both pretty active in volunteering, but honestly, most of our free time is spent either studying, experimenting with outrageously bad makeup, or watching cheesy movies. Being courteous and clean is important to us, and we will take on our share of housework and cooking. Whilst we're happy if our future roommate wants to keep to themselves, we're really hoping for someone friendly (who doesn't mind Indian food!). We would be travelling home on some weekends, so you'd get the place to yourself on Saturdays and Sundays. We're hoping to move into rental accommodation in mid to late February, but it's not set in stone and we're fairly flexible on that front.
Here's a little something about myself to kickstart! I'm 21,currently in undergrad studying Psychology. I'm moving to Melbourne for the next few months to finish off my last semester in Monash University. I love quiet nights in to do some work and study with the exception of going out to socialise here and there! I'm very clean and tidy- loves to cook goooood food. I'm very considerate and respectful when it comes to personal space and privacy- as I like my own too! Also, very relaxed, fun and friendly and looking for a great place to stay! I'm very active during my days and I occupy time with either some sport or outdoor activities. I like going out to sightsee and find new, exciting and hidden gems around the area. A coffee and dessert enthusiast but also, most definitely likes living healthy.
I'm a full-time, first year student at Monash University. I have had a Gap Year working at a cafe and I am moving down from Brisbane Queensland. I am quite, personable and tidy. I enjoy going to the gym and cooking meals. (Breakfast may or may not be my favourite) I love going to a few live gigs (that are hopefully free) I can make those little leaves in coffee!!! I love reading and films. Thanks :)
Currently got enrolled in Monash as a full time postgraduate student in Social Work. A tidy, easy going non-smoker from Taiwan. Both a cat and dog person. Not exactly a party person but do enjoy chilling with a glass of beer after work or school.
Hi, we’re Sam (22yrs) and Hogan (20yrs), two Monash Uni students who are currently moving out of our 3 bedroom share house in Clayton. Our third housemate Victoria has abandoned us to travel to Canada after completing her internship here in Melbourne. We’re looking for additional house mates to join us in a hunt to find a nice, cheap, well situated 3 or 4 bedroom place between Clayton and Caulfield starting as soon as convenient. Initially we were looking for two bedroom places however they were really small and expensive. Looking at the 3 and 4 bedroom houses they seemed to be much nicer and less expensive split between 3 or 4 people. We thought by teaming up with some people in similar situations we could all have a say in what house was decided on. We’re both country kids turned Monash students who are social, easy going and love a beer or three on occasion but know when to knuckle down and do some work. We are also clean, respectful and we share the chores equally around the house. Sam is a design/eng student who is into anything outdoorsy, tinkering with old cars and gardening. Hogan is a medical imaging student who loves his cooking and is handy with computers. We are both back in Melbourne at the moment ready to facilitate the process of hunting for a house – And boy are there some cheap, juicy ones out there! Because we are looking for housemates prior to signing a lease, we can all have a say in the location and price. If this appeals to you send us a message back and we can work out a time when we are all free to meet and have a chat! Sam + Hogan
I'm a student at Monash Uni currently living in Brunswick, which is a million miles away from campus. Looking to move out around mid February, getting in early on the moving scene so I can find a place I will mesh well in. I'm usually pretty easy going, I do bake and clean when I get stressed, shout when I get too excited (soz). Always relaxed unless I drink tequila then you may find me trying to swim on the floor (sadly a true story). I have grown up in a very wog family so if you want a good pasta hit me up. Always up for a drink, a party, a political discussion, poetry reading or a session of meme analysis. As long as the feng shui is tight and you're not affraid to tell me to shut up once in a while we should all get along fine. I am a pesceterian but always up for a meal share as I don't understand portions and always cook for 10 instead of one. Send me a message if you are looking for someone in the future! Peace x
I'm 23 years old and currently live in Canberra. I'm a jazz musician and my primary instrument is tenor sax. I enjoy online gaming, keeping fit and dragon boating. I am not keen on parties but do enjoy going to gigs and spending time quietly at home with close friends. In 2017 I will be transferring to Monash University to complete my degree, so between my study, practice and training you will hardly see me. I would prefer an all inclusive cost so I can budget effectively.
G'day, I'm starting a degree in Environmental Engineering at Monash in 2017. I expect the majority of my time will be spent at uni or a desk, but outside of that, basketball, cricket and football are my go. Ideally my week will be five days of studying and sport training, then into the city to watch a game of footy or something, then recovery Saturday, and a quiet Sunday at a market or the beach. As an added incentive, I also really like cooking.
Yo, my names Tom and I just graduated high school in Adelaide! I rock climb lots and therefore have killer abs, enjoy reading, mixing music (I'll bring some dope speakers over from Adelaide to share + promise to not use them loudly or in excess) as well as cycling, motorcycling, swimming, yoga, reading and casual doodling! I'm also pretty techy, love computers and have worked for 4 years as a barista in a dodgy coffee shop! I graduated last year with a 96.6 Atar (Physics, Maths Studies, English Studies, Music Ensemble + Solo performance and Chemistry) and am hoping to study either a course in computer science or a double degree in arts/science @ Monash... However, all that being said, I'm basically pretty quiet easy going dude, so if you're looking for someone friendly who won't be a hassle, I'm your bloke! P.S. I can cook, clean, wash clothes and all that jazz because my mum is a legend and taught me how since I was a little-tiny-tootsie-toddler. Would give myself an IKEA furniture+ rating for DIY skills, could put up homemade shelves and whatnot in a pinch!
Two second year Monash Uni students looking for friendly people, preferably students, to team-up on a sharehouse. We're looking for a community kind of approach where everyone does their fair share and gets along well. I study engineering and Aaron does commerce. I'm from the country, and after being shown up by monash residential services twice, I'm out looking for a share house.
I'm a fairly chill guy going into my third year of my Bachelor of Software Engineering at Monash :) I currently live down in the Gippsland area east of Melbourne, however am looking to move closer to the city to meet new people and avoid my current hour and a half commute to uni :P When I'm free enjoy gaming, a bit of photography, and hanging out with friends. I'm neat and tidy, and am looking for a friendly place to share with some other students.
I have an upright piano that comes with me. A hammock and stand to put on the verandah and I enjoy cheese, food, wine and good company. I like to experience life and make the most of every chance I get. I'm studying electrical engineering and working as a relief teacher. I can pay the bills (which is important... I once had a flatmate that could not... absolute disaster). I like animals, almost decided to be a vet (till I went on work experience). Not a big partier, but I do appreciate being around people. Would prefer not being strangers with my housemates and I'm looking for a place where I fit and is home. I spend my downtime travelling, camping and hiking with friends. I like to bake (didn't realize how much until I went on exchange to Vietnam where they have no ovens). Will get back from Vietnam mid January and need a place before end of feb. Would also really prefer an unfurnished bedroom :) Cheers Catherine
I'm a 27 y/o Melbourne local looking for a place in the south east, or close to Melbourne Uni, to call home. I currently work full time in compliance, and I'll be starting law at Melbourne in early Feb. I like to spend the rest of my time reading, cooking, trying to learn a new language, and checking out new brunch places. I'm good for a chat but not a space invader, and I'm pro-active in keeping things tidy. If it sounds like I'd fit in at your share house, get in touch and we can sort something out. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hey, I'm Alex. I'm an 18yo university student from Queensland. I'm studying 2nd year Engineering/Architecture at Monash Uni, full time - so my hours can be all over the place but I'll usually be at a desk somewhere. I am a pretty quiet person, but I love hanging out with friends. I like music, a good book, art and the outdoors. I can also make some mean meals. I am a tidy person who will happily help out with cleaning.
Just finished my masters degree from La Trobe university. Looking for good people to share a house with. I am the tidy one who cleans after himself. Again not a neat freak. Relaxed yet responsible, friendly and sociable, always down for a chat. Gym, cricket, food, aquarium, guitar sum me up.
Hello! My name is Dinesh from Mumbai, India. l’ll be studying at Monash (Clayton campus) for my Masters in Advanced Mechanical Engineering. I'm looking for a place within walking or easy public transport distance to Clayton Campus. What’s up everyone? I'm easy going, fun, positive and totally respectful of others' space. I like to hang out, have a drink, share a meal or go out and socialize. I enjoy photography, sports, watching movies, good food and travelling. I'm also keen to explore the city and surrounding areas for some outdoor adventures. I will help to keep the place clean and I assure timely payment of bills. If you have a room or are looking for someone to rent a place with, feel free to message me.
My partner and I are very respectable and open minded. I am Australian and Bianca is Peruvian. We are clean and generally keep to ourselves due to study commitments. I am studying online fulltime- Psychology and Children and Family Studies. I will need to undertake 2 days placement for my studies and I will be working every Saturday in my hometown. Bianca will be studying fulltime to undertake a Masters in Business Administration. We are also happy to share meals on occasion or just keep to ourselves. We are looking for a good size room that can accommodate a desk because I study online. We would like a place close to the train because my partner has no license. Looking forward to meeting the right housemates :)
I am neat and have healthy habits. I also tend to live a quiet lifestyle to focus on my studies. And I am an international student at the Monash University and work part time. I am looking for a place for the next 7 months.
Hi all, looking to start a new share house with a few people, or move into an already established sharehouse with some down to earth people. When I'm at home I'll either be working on a woodwork project, gaming, pigging out to Netflix, and I am always down for a banter and beer. I take pride in where I live and like to keep it reasonably clean and invest in it. I do like to have mates over occasionally - all very respectful - so a place where that's the norm would be great. Looking to live with a few like-minded people around my age and have a friendly/social household. I work part-time and study full-time at Monash (both campuses) so somewhere in between the campuses and near the Pakenham line is ideal. Cheers. P.S. info on how to update my profile picture on this website to not look like a zoomed in face meme would be much appreciated :)
Hi, I'm Isabella, a 23 year old student from Germany working on my degree in psychology. I'll be studying at Monash (Clayton campus) for a semester as an exchange student starting in February :) I'll be staying until mid July, so I'm looking for a place to stay at for about 5-6 months, but I can be a bit flexible . A bit about me: I love art (museums, exhibitions, doing some of my own, you name it), music, reading, exploring and being outdoors. I'd describe myself as chatty, very open-minded and easy-going. I've been sharing an apartment for 2,5 years now and it's always been great getting to know new people, maybe going out together for a drink sometime or doing other activities together. I've spent some time living in different countries and it's always been a great experience so far. If you're looking for a friendly and down-to-earth roomate, I'd love to hear from you! Isabella :)
Hey there, how's it going? Nice to meet you, my name's Phillip, I'm 21 years old & am a working sales professional for Telstra. In my time off I enjoy physical exercise (gym, basketball, swimming or even just going for a jog), cooking, cleaning & my own personal downtime. I am very big on privacy and will respect and honour each and every individual's privacy and personal space. I also believe that cleanliness is a feature of organisation and that it translates into productivity. I often work 6 days out of the week for a total of nearly up to 60 hours, so for a good majority of the day I will be absent as I usually visit the gym straight after work. I also have my own car, appliances and furniture that I am more than happy to contribute to any individual in the household. Coming up with rent money will never be an issue as I am more than happy to pay months in advance if need be. If this ad more than meets your criteria, please do not hesitate to contact me via mobile or email Hope to hear back from you soon. Kind Regards, Phillip.
I'm a Business Analyst professional who has been recently shifted to Melbourne from Sydney. I'm working for a leading Australian clothing brand in South Yarra. For the time being, I'm staying in my friend's house and will have to move out as his wife and baby is coming back. I'm a very friendly person. Like to keep my home neat and tidy. Love sports, hanging out with my friends and would love to have an occasional beer or two with my house mates. That being said, I also love a quiet time. Understands the word 'Privacy' and appreciates the basic house sharing etiquette.
I am Ramin, 25 years and I am full time working in the coolest restaurant in Oakleigh. I just moved to Melbourne 2nd March from Holland. I am here to work full time and to start study in February. I am an easy going person who likes to socialise with people. I am clean and considerable. I have been working in a restaurant for 6 years, so I have passion for food and love being with humans. Generally a happy, friendly and sociable person who loves to have a chat and laugh along the way.
Hi, my name is Amelia and I'm 18 years old. I'm currently studying Computer Science at Monash University, going into my second year. I'm originally from rural Victoria but am looking to move to Melbourne full time this year, looking for shared accommodation in the south eastern suburbs. I'm tidy and responsible, I only drink occasionally, but I enjoy being social and meeting new people. I am LGBT friendly, and would welcome housemates of any gender. However, I am a non-smoker and would prefer to live with other non-smokers :) If you're in the south east and you think I sound like I would be a good housemate for you, then contact me!
Easy to get along with and tidy. Mostly keep to myself but also up for hanging out. I spend most of my time watching tv shows, movies and playing games.
We're three international students from the UK studying at Monash University, Clayton. We're sociable and outgoing people looking for a home for the next 6 months. We're here to study but are interested in travelling and exploring Australia.
Patrick and I both study at Monash Uni (Pat - Arts/Law, Me - Arts/Music). We're easy-going, enjoy cooking, and love a good boogie! (Not looking to share a room - looking for a new property to share!)
i am a uni student at swinburne in hawthorn and work part time at monash uni in clayton. i can either stay to my own or be social depending on the situation. i am out most of the time during the day and sometimes on the weekend. i am a christian and am regularly involved in church in huntingdale. i keep my mess to my room and am tidy and respectful of others.
Students looking for accommodation closet to uni. Both love travelling, sport and brunches. Looking to move into a house with other student's who are also studying
Hi, I am an ex-Monash University student who know works for the Government. I enjoy getting to know my housemates however I also enjoy my own privacy and time. I am very respectful of how others prefer to live within the house. In my spare time I like to meet with friends and family as well as exercising and doing outdoor activities.
I'm an easy-going third year Monash psychology student who loves sharing a meal and a drink or two with fellow flatmates. I do have a couple of well-received dishes which I love to cook for people. I'm also quite enthusiastic about movie nights. I come with a hard drive full of TV shows. What makes me a truly good flatmate is that I went to boarding school so I've been living communally for like 5 years now and am very considerate of other people's space and things. I'm also very good at cleaning and very much willing to do chores. I do come with a car and I am happy to use it in the name of food/ take-out. I can sometimes be a bit of hermit but that can easily be coaxed out of me if need be. One of my requirements is that I prefer to be with people who aren't excessively loud on school nights.
