Hey, I'm Sven from Bavaria, Germany, and I’ve been offered the opportunity to work on a research project at Monash University School of Chemistry, Campus Clayton. My stay will be from 1. Mai to 4. September. I would describe myself as an open-minded, enthusiastic, joyful and active student. When I’m not at university, I spend my free time on working in associations, supporting refugees in German cultural integration or organizing events for Christian Union at university. Moreover, I like to do sports particularly with friends, e.g. table tennis, swimming, squash or hiking. It would be fantastic to share a flat with some locals since I love to learn more about Australian culture and having a good time during cooking, sports or discussions. I could also provide you with some German-Bavarian Culture and dishes ;). A personal highlight and aim of my stay is to get involved in Aussie Rules culture, so If you could teach me rules or even go out and train together, it would be awesome :) . Concerning some organizational details, I’ve considered living in a reachable periphery to the School of Chemistry and paying around ~190 AUD/week (negotiable). I’m looking forward to hearing from you and I could also provide more information or we arrange an interview on skype, if you like. Best regards and greetings from Germany Sven
My name is Joanne I'm 34yo female. I'm in the process of moving back to Melbourne from Tasmania, where I will be working full time in an administrator role during the week. I'm easy going and social, enjoy a chat and happy to share the odd meal or glass of wine. I also enjoy my own time and respect other people's privacy. I like to go out to dinner with friends enjoy a quiet night in with a good movie and try to drag myself to the gym a few times a week. I have lived in share accommodation before and have a good understanding on how to live with other people. very clean and tiny, pay rent and bills on time.
Blake and I are from the United States. I received a fellowship to work in a research lab at Monash for the year and Blake is applying for a work holiday visa. We're friendly, quiet, love to travel and are super outdoorsy. Would love to be friends, or are fine on our own. Would love 2 bedrooms in the same house with a bathroom, or 1 bedroom that fits a queen sized bed and is fully furnished. Our budget is $300 total, or $150 per room. Would strongly prefer to live with other non-smokers.
I pride myself on being straight-forward, genuine and easy to work with. You won't have a headache with me because I care about people and the best for everyone! I also love spontaneity and am very outgoing! I have a good sense of humour, I love sarcasm and irony but I'm not a dick.
My name is Marina and I'm 31. I work part-time in Oakleigh and study Accounting in the City. I'm a clean person and so I prefer to keep home tidy. I do not smoke and have no pets. I am quiet and friendly.
Hiya Im Jess, I am a 21 year old qualified hairdresser - (making haircuts easy for you!) And Cameron is a 22 year old Photographer. We both have interests in books, games, movies and music. We are looking for somewhere to live where we can be comfortable and have somewhere to call home. Cameron works for a photography company and has interests in portraiture, so we are both incredibly creative people. We're both super good to live with 'cause I like cooking/baking and we're both neat and tidy , we are happy to be social with you (or give you your space if you like). We would like to get to know you and have drinks (and play video games) together/with friends on some weekends. Ideally, we would like to sublet a room, but we are okay with short term leases.
Hi. I'm looking for a place to rent preferrably a studio apartment, granny flat or a master bedroom. I like to be self-contained and enjoy my alone time. I'm a Monash Uni student and would prefer a place that has easy transport to Uni and females only.
Hi, I'm Marla, I'm a science student and a trans woman. I love to cook (and I'm not too bad at it) and I think good communication is the best thing in a house. Whether housemates are social or private, neat or messy, making sure we can communicate clearly and openly about the house means things can always be settled and run smoothly without any bitterness, stress or inconvenience. When I'm not studying, I like women's sports, card games and watching shows with friends.
! My name is Luis Escobar. I´m from Mexico and im doing a master at monash uni. My master is on environmental management and sustainability. I am neat and tidy and love movies and games. Im kind of a gamer my self and love to meet new people. I am outgoing and responsible. My core values are friendship, respect and honor. I speak a little bit of German and Japanese. I am here for one year so my stay would be for that time.
I'm Anna, I'll be 18 at the time of moving. I'm a full time Bachelor of Global Studies student at Monash Clayton, I'm very easy going, neat, quiet but super happy to socialise with everyone :) I don't smoke or have any pets, but am very open to a place with pets! Always up for a drink and a chat!
Hi all, looking to start a new share house with a few people, or move into an already established sharehouse with some down to earth people. I like to think of where I live as a home rather than a sharehouse, so I always keep it very clean. Looking to live with a few like-minded people around my age and have a friendly/social household. Both an outdoorsy and an indoorsy kind of person with interests in woodwork/construction, exercise, art, gaming, exploring. I like having people occasionally over for a few beers. I work part-time and study full-time at Monash (both campuses) so somewhere in between the campuses and near the Pakenham line is ideal, even though I have a car. I currently handle rent, internet, electricity, gas, and water bills for my current lease which ends mid-May so there won't be any problems there. I can supply a good Wi-Fi router/modem, dining table/chairs, cutlery/crockery, dryer, coffee table and rug, entertainment unit, and I'm looking to buy some couches though am waiting to see if it's necessary. Cheers!
Study in the city and work in Narre Warren, hoping to move somewhere between the two. On a pretty busy schedule so probably won't be home a lot, so I'll be out of your hair. Not a fantastic cook, so if you cook I'll do all the cleaning! Clean and tidy, laid back, but know how to have fun when the situation calls for it! Small, tight knit friends so I won't be throwing any wild parties, but I'll join in on yours! Game and movie buff. Also my Netflix is at your disposal. Hoping to find two or three others to start up a sharehouse with, hopefully in the next month or so. Contact for more info.
Hi! I am a student looking for a place to live near/within reasonable distance to Monash Uni Clayton campus. I am in my third year of uni, and have moved out of uni halls. Currently I am living with family in Geelong while I find a place to live, but I would like to move somewhere closer to uni to save on very long commutes. I am looking at moving into a sharehouse with others because I would love to meet more people in Melbourne as I am originally from South Australia. I am a neat and friendly housemate, and I have experience living with other people and sharing facilities. I love going to gigs in Melbourne, travelling in the uni holidays and Netflix binges!
I'm studying Masters of Teaching at Monash and working at Chadstone Shopping Centre. I've been living in sharehouses for 4 years and am all about communication and understanding what everyone expects from each other. I'm big on respecting communal space and keeping things clean and tidy, always happy to share a meal (love cooking for people) and a movie but also good to do my own thing in my room and give people their space. Ideally looking for team-ups as I have a fridge, washing machine, 6 seat dining set and some old school lockers I converted to drinks cabinets, most of which I'd rather use to furnish a new place with than sell, but that's just a preference.
