I'm a student from Germany, who's looking for an accomodation for a 6 months stay in Melbourne. I'm a nice, calm but sociable and tidy person, who enjoys travelling and working out. You'll enjoy living with me. I want me and my future housemates to do stuff together like cooking, trips to the beach and so on.
Hey. We are Isabelle and Salvy in mid 20s. Salvy is working full time as a booking manager and Isabelle is working in chemist. We are looking for a large room to fit queen size bed, preferably with ensuite bathroom (if not that's fine to) and close to the train station. We both are open minded, easy going, responsible and clean. Love to have a drink, a good conversation but sometimes just relax and watch a movie. (:
I am a 20 year old Kiwi who moved here 4 years ago to attend uni. I have a strong sense of humour, LOVE animals, am quiet but I don't mind going out for a drink now and again - not a party animal tho. I am really into art, reading and Netflix, I can make great pasta and can reach high shelves :) Not looking to move until February 20th!
Hey, my name is Jayden, 23. Currently working at Chadstone, and I will be returning for postgrad study next year at deakin, so looking to move to the area to make life easier. I'm looking for something around $150 inc, but I can increase for the right fit. This will be my first time living out of home, and ideally looking for somewhere long term, perhaps with people in a similar situation. The move date is just a random date I chose, I'm not in a rush, looking to get to know people before I commit to the move I really enjoy baking and cooking, and will probably spend a lot of time trailing new recipes and such. I'm fructose intolerant, which annoyingly means I can't eat more than just fruit, so anyone in a similar boat would be great, but definitely not a requirement. I enjoy a good night in with some wine and a movie. I'm reasonably quiet and clean and tidy. Feel free to text or message me if you want to know anymore. Thanks, Jayden
We do not have any kids or pets. We do not smoke. We have an excellent tenancy record. We pay the rents on time, keep the house clean, and get along very well with our neighbours. We both work full time.
I'm just coming off a gap year from uni and be switching to Monash (I'll be studying fine arts and history). I'm a painter and artist though I'm not messy so don't worry! I'm into movies and playing Xbox and have a wicked board game collection so if you're into game nights then definitely hit me up! I have a nano fish tank I like to sit on my desk with a couple gorgeous fish to go with it of course. I also have my motorbike license though I don't presently have a bike so I just need a spot to park my car. Im not a huge party animal although I'm up for some drinks or just catch up over coffee! Always happy to clean and share house duties too and I love to bake. I don't know many people in Melbourne so I'm looking for a roomie and a friend to find a great little place together!
I'm an easygoing, open minded person who loves a laugh and chat, casual drinks or two and the occasional Netflix binge. You'll often catch me out on my nerdy side rewatching Rick and Morty episodes or buried deep in an Ivan Turgenev novel. I'm studying science at Monash uni, majoring in physics but I've taken this year off to relax a tad and work.
I'm an easy going guy, moving from the UK to complete my PhD at Monash University. I'm a pretty decent chef, like to chill out and socialize. Imperial to a couple of games of FIFA although I'm not very good at it! Looking to move in end of September before starting my course on the 1st of October

Hi, my name is Lars and I'm from Germany. Last Year I received my Ph.D. in Biochemistry and I am going to stay in Melbourne for three months - from mid September to mid December 2017 - for a collaborative research project at Monash University. Thus, I will be busy most of the time. Nevertheless, I'd like to meet new people and to get to know the city. I love to cook - especially Western and Thai cuisine - and enjoy the food with a glass of wine or a bottle of beer. This year I found my passion for Kickboxing, which I can hopefully act out in the sporting capital. Moreover, I like to hang out with friends and to do ballroom dance with my wife, who unfortunately needs to stay back in Germany.
Hey, I’m Imis, a neuroscientist from Germany and going to Melbourne for a short research stay at Monash University in mid-September. I am an easy-going person, quiet and very friendly, responsible and super clean. I’m looking for a nice and tidy flat share with a furnished room for 2-3 months. Feel free to ask any questions!
Hi I'm moving down to Melbourne from Brisbane begining of August. Looking to make that lovely city my new home. Me: I've been sharing for most of my life, am an actor/ex biologist, like to cook, rockclimb, try to not kill the plants, dance, spend time outdoors, watch movies and theatre, sew, yoga......stuff. Will have a job, so don't worry. I come with mostly just bedroom furniture. I have a 10year old house trained tibetan spaniel x border collie, Toby, who wont eat your shoes or lunch, and is fully house trained. It would be great to find some chilled, friendly, people who like to share a meal and a drink occasionally, and are maybe artistic (obviously clean, tidy, respectful etc, but that goes without saying so...And same for me too). I am really looking for a place to call home not just a room in a house. Love to hear from you. Cheers Donna
Hi there, I'm looking for a room somewhere within reasonable public transport/cycling distance to Monash Clayton. My name's Marla, I'm a trans woman, I study astrophysics and I like cooking and women's sport. The most important thing to me in a house is good communication; I want to live somewhere where housemates feel comfortable talking to each other about any house problems and respect each other and the space. I like to be friendly in communal areas but take a bit of time to myself, I'm neat but not super fussy and I'm generally happy to slide into any dynamic in a house as long as everyone's happy with it. I have stable income and no pets :)
Hi! My name is Gil. I'm a PhD student at Monash university. I'm a quiet, easy going and clean person. In my spare time I do sports and like to eat tasty food :)
I am a nineteen year old full time female student, looking for a nice, quiet place to live, where I can unwind and study. Preferably near transport and a private room. I am independent, bubbly, clean and I don't mind a chat. I have uni 2 days a week in the city and I work the rest of the week at a private golf course, so when I am home I will be focusing on my studies and catching up on my tv shows. I do have a 24 year old boyfriend and would like him to be able to come over and stay the night when he has work close to me. please contact me if I am what you are after :)
Hi, my name is Carolyn. I work at Monash University as a research assistant (plant ecology/evolutionary biology), and also do a bit of teaching, which fluctuates between full-time and part-time work. I have a lot of money saved up, and continue to save most of my income, so I can support myself during lulls. I'm pretty introverted (so I won't be starting crazy parties) but I'm very friendly and want to get to know my housemates. In free time I like going for long walks/hikes and sometimes short runs, keeping a veggie garden, making things and trying new arts and crafts, and hanging out at cafes and libraries to do some reading/writing/people watching. I'm also trying to learn Spanish and Russian, so I'm keen if you're learning them too! I'm clean and tidy, and keep my own things to my own space.
I and my wife Amy were recently granted Australian PR this year and have arrived in Melbourne for couples of months. I'm a Mechanical Engineer Professional, graduated with Honors from the University of Melbourne, looking for permanent position in my field. We love the peacefulness and being closed to nature. We have no children and no pets. We're clean, tidy, quite and respectful to everybody because we respect your lifestyle and cuture. We hope to rent the house (no apartments) with minimum 3 bedrooms (preferably furnished but unfurnished is fine),2 toilets, backyard and a garage. The location is near train station, bus stop or market. We're very on time in rent payment. We have 100 point ID, payslips and are prepared to pay bond and first month in advance. Our budget is $500 pw. Our preferable stay is long term. Our desired move-in date is before 31 August 2017.
