Hey gang, my name is Sophie and I'm a mostly functional human being in need of a new space. I'm about to complete my third year in law/justice, and stay pretty busy during the week working in the city and completing professional placements. I grew up on the Sunshine Coast, so I like to spend my weekends there when I can. I'm easygoing, clean, respectful, sociable, a foodie and pretty driven (for at least the last few weeks of semester). Always up for dinner and a wine/g&t or weekend brunch. I have a bunch of brand new appliances and furniture, so I'm definitely open to teaming up (but I do have storage if need be). I'm also keen on puppers if you have one. Location isn't too important to me, so long as I steer clear of the south side and stay fairly inner city. Looking forward to finding you, Sophie

I am an American who just accepted a post-doc position at UQ! I am looking for housing around UQ starting in late May 2017. I am interested in renting my own bedroom in a property with roommates in order to save money on accommodation and meet new people. I will be working full time, so I need a place that is close to work and near public transport. I am easy going, clean, and I enjoy reading, the outdoors, arts and crafts, and good food. I hope to find roommates to are older and also work full time. Please feel free to message if you have any questions!

I tend to keep to myself but am up for drinks and a chat on the weekends. i am clean, tidy and easy going. love to cook and garden and gym time haha. i love adventures to the beach and into the mountains. am planning on moving to Brisbane in January 2017. thanks.
Hi there! I'm Korii and I'm a 26 year old female currently living in Perth. However I will be moving to Brisbane at the end of November for a new job, which I am super excited about! However this means I am now on the hunt for a place to live. :) I am very friendly, laid back and pretty respectful of people's need for space/privacy. I love good banter and bad jokes. :P As I work full time, I like to keep busy in the weekends - heading outside, keeping active, visiting and exploring new places and trying new things. I'm a huge sports fanatic - love my rugby union in particular. I'm also hoping to check out the Muay Thai/Kickboxing scene when I get to Brizzy. Would love to live with others who are like-minded, somewhat mature (but still likes to have a good time every now and then!), respectful and friendly. Definitely don't mind sharing a meal or two every now and then either - I find cooking a great way to relax over the weekends. Because I am moving from the other side of the country I would prefer a fully furnished bedroom, just to make it a little easier. Looking forward to hearing from you! :)
Brisbane born, gentle giant, introvert but with a good sense of humour. Med-High level of cleanliness/tidiness, dependent on who i'm living with, I tend to match my fellow roommate's standards. Dishwasher is a necessity though! Super honest and tolerant. Currently living with some people in Kenmore, and the couple just got married, so are moving out. Moved in with them 4yrs ago, and we are now great friends :) I work part time from home, with a small Mobile Phone repair business. I refurbish phones for sale, and repair customers devices. This means I will have customers visiting the place to drop off, but only once or twice a day on average. I have my own doorbell, and I work in my bedroom. My current housemates have not had any problems with this, and I try to minimise the imposition as much as possible. Near cost price phone repair for fellow housemates is offered in return. :) I play tennis regularly, and volunteer at the tennis club too. Also play volleyball & golf occasionally and like trivia nights. I like playing my PlayStation too when I've got a good game, but I've got my own screen for my room. I like board games, movies, having a beer and chatting occasionally. I love animals, especially dogs (I don't have a pet though).
I'm extremely clean and tidy so I'm looking for a housemate/housemates that love coming back to a clean home to unwind. Private and not interested in late nights, drinking and partying. Keen traveller, enjoy nature, yoga practitioner, environmentally conscious individual, animal lover. ( I absolutely adore my three cats) Moving to Brisbane for work. I will be a contracted working professional, a veterinarian to be precise so cats are trained and will be clean and cared for.
Hi my names Julyan I'm 19 years old from Malaysia and going to study in UQ next year Feb. I'm clean neat easygoing and fun person but maybe will be a bit shy at first ;) I love water sports and COOKING!! Will be great we have our own space yet enjoy staying together :D :D
Hello everyone, I'm a 23 Brazilian guy living a new life and studying in Brisbane. I'm looking a nice and open to chat person to share a place with. I'm a easy going person, social and clean looking for a job and a nice place to stay. I'm looking a place to live at least 3 months.
We are both friendly and bubbly, easy to get a long with, very sociable, will like to have friends over. Taylor works full time as a medical receptionist and owns a labrador, so it is a MUST that you adore dogs. Shauna works as a nanny and is home during school hours.
I'm clean, can cook - love to bake! Pretty quiet but keen to meet great new people. Reliable source of income - paying rent/bills will be no issue. Lead a fairly busy lifestyle but am always keen to watch a movie and chat over wine/cheese.
I'm a 26yo software engineer working full time in east brisbane. I'm a sport and outdoor activities enthusiast. I do rock climbing with UQ sometimes in kangaroo point and sometimes indoor. I also started doing Muy Thai recently. So during the week i'm usually out till 7 or 8pm. I'm reasonably social and house trained, and i'm mainly looking for a place to call home where people are willing to communicate and maybe share a meal or drink whilst respecting each others privacy at the same time when it's needed. I'm into music and play guitar sometimes (I got my awesome headphone that i use when i wanna play, so you don't need to worry about the noise if it bothers you). Preferably looking or a place in West End with an undercover garage, but that's not a must.
22 year old single male, just recently moving to Brisbane from the sunshine coast. Looking for a room/place in the southern suburbs. I work full-time, I also have a weekend job back on the coast so I wont be home most weekends. I'm a student. I don't smoke, I barely drink, I'm exceptionally clean, and really easy going. I have a perfect rental history. I don't have pets or children but I do love both. Preferrably looking for a place by the 30/10 but can work around an earlier or later date
I'm a 21 year old Finnish-Australian starting my BA at UQ in Term 1, 2017. I'm very social and laidback, and hence expect to get along with pretty much everybody. I'm usually more than likely to be happy to go out and have a fun time, but also respect others' boundaries and privacy. I believe in fairness and sharedness when it comes to common chores, but I'm not too uptight and hate arguing. I've lived in shared accommodation before, and have always had a good time. You can contact me for either a room, or to teamup. Hope to hear from you, and have a good day!
Hi, I will be graduating from UQ in December with a Bachelor of Engineering. So we, as a family are travelling to Brisbane to attend my graduation ceremony. Since I don't live in Brisbane anymore, just need a place for my family to stay for a week. We'll be out most of the day, so just need a decent place where my family can sleep in peace. Thanks
Hey I'm geneva and I'm looking to join a share house near the city as I work two jobs there. I'm always up for some socialising but also love my quiet time and space. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have Looking for a stay 6 months or longer
Hey there future housemates! I'm moving up to Brisbane early next year (depending on finding a place) and so I'm looking for a room! Would prefer something in an existing share house with something big enough to fit a double/ queen bed. I'm clean and organised so keeping the place tidy is no problem for me I'm often the one picking up after others! I mostly keep to myself and will respect others' space but wouldn't mind a drink or two and a chat every now and then! I'm generally pretty laid back and relaxed (not about that drama) and looking for likeminded and social housemates. Ps: would be a bonus if I can have my family or friend stay in my room if they came to visit me from Adelaide! Please don't hesitate to message me for any questions or find me on Facebook! Thanks in advance!
QUT Student, looking to move into a house with cool flatmates just after Christmas. Friendly, outgoing , fairly tidy and terrible at cooking. Look for long term accommodation
I'm on exchange from the US studying at UQ for a year, but my lease runs out this summer so I need a new place to stay for another 6 months! Things I enjoy include: swimming, bikes, wine, cooking, doing my dishes, paying rent on time, and also chocolate. Would love to meet some new flatmates as my current one is moving away :( I can move at any time but would prefer early Jan as I will be traveling and won't return until then. Please don't hesitate to contact me! :)
Hey, My name is Anh, I'm an international student looking to move out of my current place at the end of this year. I have been in Australia for 7 years (5 in Brisbane). I finished my science degree with an Honours last year and I am completing my diploma in teaching at the end of this year. I will start to look for jobs/ do some travelling next year but still want a nice place to stay. I'm an introvert, tidy and quiet but I do enjoy cooking and baking for friends and people around. Food adventures and dining out are absolutely welcome. I am a foodie at heart, considering the fact that I chose Food Technology as a career path. Besides, I like to have things in order and clean my house frequently. I enjoy having a drink and chill out watching TV. I read and play terrible piano too. If you are looking for good Vietnamese food, look no further and contact me :)
Hey the names Dave I'm 24 and from Ireland. I moved to Brisbane in February and am currently a few weeks away from finishing my farm work for my 2nd year visa so am living out west at present. I plan on travelling for the month of December and coming back to Brisbane towards the start of the new year and am looking for accommodation. I'm very friendly, easy going and good for a conversation. I would like to move to a social household who work during the week but enjoy the weekends. Things I like doing in my spare time would be going to the beach, having drinks with friends and going on weekend trips! I'm clean, reliable with rent and respect others property and privacy as well. That's myself on the right in the pic by the way! :) I'm pretty open as to where I live when I move back to Brisbane once it's within a reasonable commute to the city :) If I sound like I'd be a good fit for your place don't hesitate to give me a message and we can go from there! :) Cheers!
A little about myself - Im 21 yrs old and work full time as a boilermaker. I enjoy travelling, making music, learning new things and the beach. I like to live in a clean environment and like to have a chat every now and then. I own a house in another town that I'm renting out so understand what is expected of tenant living in someone else's place.
Hello! I'll be moving out to UQ in February 2017, on my final year to study Computer Science. Looking for possible flatmate(s) that are amazing, outgoing and fun to live with. While not writing lines of code, I travel to places across the globe and wrote it on my blog. I am preferably looking for a private bedroom with shared/private bathroom. Mixed/all-female gender house.
I am an easy going young working professional. I work in the fitness industry as a health club manager. I am clean, tidy and respectful of others. I am actually a New Zealander and will be coming up two years in Brisbane soon. I enjoy exercise, sport, socializing, gaming and having a drink on the weekend. I'm an easy going guy who can go with the flow... so either have a chat or keep to myself I really don't mind. Get in touch if I sound like a flatmate you would like and i will do my best to respond asap. Look forward to hearing from you.
Easy going full time working professional (IT / Projects) looking to house share within Brisbane region. Clean and Tidy and social personality but also always respect my flatmates space. Good with pets (especially dogs! lol) and easy working in with flatmates when it comes bill sharing, etc. I commute to CBD daily for work so would be great to find a place close to train lines. Originally from NZ and been in Brisbane for almost 3 yrs now, during the week i'm pretty boring (lol) normally just busy working, gym, and a little study or TV comprises my daily routine, but on weekends love to get out to the Sunshine Coast or GC when is sunny, or hit the local and watch rugby / sports. As mentioned I'm super laid back and respectful as a flatmate, and looking to fit in with a cool bunch who would hopefully end up awesome mates as well as flatties! Feel free to ask me any questions.
Hey I have a dog Nahla who loves walks, runs and laying about. I am looking for a place that has a yard for her and with people that are good with dogs and easy going. I am respectful, clean and reliable. Easy to get along with and tolerant of all kinds of people. I study at UQ part time and am currently staying and working in Gympie with family, I am originally from Brisbane and have jobs lined up for when I have a place. Also, I have my own furniture although don't have to bring everything/can bring things that may be needed. Basically I am looking for an empty room and if there is anything the house needs I could help (fridge/washing machine)
Looking for a fun new roommate? Look no further than this 21 year old nursing student! I'm relaxed, friendly, clean and always up for a good time; whether that mean a good night out or staying in with the fam watching crappy tv, its all a good time! I'm coming into my last year of university, work part-time and play a sport at least once a week. While I love and respect privacy, I am always ready for late night chats and dnms :)
This listing is primarily for myself but if you have 2 rooms available we would be a great addition to your household. We are two best pals that have lived together for about a year. We are both happy, easy going people who like a good laugh. I (Nesha) am a Uni student and whenever I'm not studying I can be found at the beach or with mates enjoying a cheeky bev. Nick on the other hand is more of a private bloke, he is very polite and well mannered but enjoys his personal time. We're always clean and respectful and enjoy our own personal space but am open to making new mates. We love animals and would gladly bestow love on any of your pets.
My name is Amy, Im 24 years old (soon to be 25) and living on my own in New Farm. I've just been accepted back into Uni in 2017 at UQ and start an intensive course over Nov/Dec this year. I'm a non smoker and my partying days are well behind me. However I do enjoy the occasional weekend wine! I live a pretty active lifestyle so when I'm not at home I'm working, at the gym or at the beach. I have a fully housetrained 8 month old kitten. She's really mellow, generally keeps to herself, but is always up for a good cuddle and loves everyone. I've never had any issues with her being an indoor cat. I'm looking to move before the 14th Nov as my course starts on the 22nd. Im hoping to find someone who wants to team up and sign a new lease together so if this sounds like you, lets team up :)
I am currently doing masters at UQ. I am friendly person and like to meet new people. I am looking to live with a female who is probably working or studying at uni, masters or phd. I need cleanliness always. I cleanup after my work is done. I do not like mess. I would always love to divide the work of cleaning. I would prefer flats or apartments in buildings having nice river view or city view.
Easy going, friendly, tidy, not a dickhead. Isn't that what we all want in a housemate? 25 years old, studying a Bachelor of Media and Communication, working casually outdoors. Flexible in where I'm living in Brisbane, but Northside is preferable.
Me and my friend Channay are travelling around Australia and are in Brisbane for a few weeks working and doing some sightseeing. We are very laid back and get on with everyone! We treat everywhere we stay with respect and are very clean and tidy.
**specifically looking for a granny flat thanks :)** Hi I'm Amy, a 23 year old cake decorator working 3 days a week for a small company located on Brisbanes South Side. I'm passionate about baking and all things cake/deserts. I am a fairly harsh critic and rarely live up to my own standards. I'm always looking for constructive criticism and am willing to share my baked goods. I enjoy going to the markets, baking, reading, fithooping (weighted hoola hoop), walking, Kitten D'amour and board games... I really enjoy board games! I am fairly kept to myself and have a small circle of close friends. At present I am only looking for a grannyflat. My partner lives in North Brisbane and is currently studying and working so I am usually away on weekends. If you feel I would be the right tenant for your property I would love to hear from you! Kind Regards, Amy
Bentley and I are looking for a home! I also need a place that has a carport available. A bit about myself - I work Fulltime and am generally out and about on days off. Not a huge drinker but happy to socialise with future housemates. Bentley is an outside dog, doesn't bark and is super friendly.

Hey! I'm Georgia and I work two jobs and study full time. I'm super easy to get along with and am happy with everything from having awesome parties to a quiet night in. I moved up from Melbourne late last year and have decided it's time to get back out of my parents house and find a fun, relaxed place to live that's closer to the city.
Hi, I'm Stacey, 23 and working full-time in the city. I am pretty quiet to live with and will mostly keep to myself. Looking for something closer to the city. Need to be close to public transport, ideally a train station. I don't have any pets, don't smoke and go out if I want to party. Not in a hurry to find something but flexible with timing. If there is anything you want to know, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Hello! Our names are Dirk Peady and Tori Smallwood, we are a couple at ages 23 and 21, we are currently unemployed due to the fact that we just moved to Brisbane but are very financially stable although actively looking for work. We are a couple who don't smoke, enjoy an occasional drink, and are very clean. We both love the company of animals and are currently in a share house with a cat and have no issues living with children. We would like to move in a.s.a.p. as we have everything packed and ready to go. We are currently renting a room in a share house with 5 others so cleanliness to communal areas are kind of a given, as well as the responsibility of ensuring our dishes are washed and put away immediately after use. We are both very friendly, love watching movies and playing video games, as well as love hikes and swimming! We are looking for something very private, so a large room with and ensuite or some form of granny flat would be perfect!!! If you think your place would be a good fit for us it doesn't hurt to shoot us a message :)
Originally from WA, I have lived in Perth, Sydney and most recently France - where I have been running a B&B. When on Australian soil, I work in communications and campaigns for non-profits. I'll be in Brisbane from 10 NOV 2016, taking up a job with an environmental NGO, and I'll also being studying a Masters part-time at UQ. I enjoy cooking, travelling and politics. If you like Great British Bake Off, dinner debates or watching Insiders on a Sunday morning, this is a good sign we're going to get along.
Hiya we are Shanna and Samantha from the Netherlands. We're looking for a job in Brisbane ,and want to stay here for a few months, in a nice appartment. We are relaxing people and in for a drink (not the everyday party types).
I am in my late 20s and have recently graduated. I like to keep it to myself most of the times and also respect others privacy, but that certainly doesn't mean that I am not up for a chat sometimes. A non smoker, not quite a party person and yes, NOT pet friendly either. I like to keep the house clean but not too finicky, so a relaxed person to stay with. I like to cook and happy to share the food(eat at your own risk though :D). Looking for a place to share with no more than two people.
