I'm 25 years old and moved to Newcastle just three months ago from the US. I've been working as an au pair since I got to Australia. My time with my host family ends in February, but I'm looking to move sooner than that, while I'm also currently looking for other jobs in the area. I'd be happy to lease a place for 6 months. I'm thinking about applying for my second year visa, where I would have to work somewhere rural sometime around June, which is why I am ideally looking for only a 6 month lease. I love the beach, good food, beer and wine, anything to do with music especially seeing live music. I love to be social but I also like having my own time to chill and be independent. I also love traveling and exploring new places which I plan to do a lot more of while I'm here in Aus!
Hi, Thanks for looking at my profile. I'm currently living in Sydney, moving to Newcastle in early 2019. Studying a degree in Counselling, working as a Support Worker. I enjoy minimal living, enjoy interior design, having fun and downtime to study and unwind from the day. Things that I love to do include hanging out with family and friends, involvement in church, going to the movies, watching tv and NRL, staying active and traveling. Thanks, Kayla :)
Ruben is going to the Hunter School of the Performing Arts starting Jan 30th. We presently live at Blueys Beach and need to relocate as soon as possible...either before or after Xmas.. We are friendly, chilled, well behaved people. I am studying an Indigenous Studies degree. Ruben is a quiet, studious 9 year old (true!). Our dog George is a gentle delight who gets on well with other dogs. We are happy to share a large room for a few months just to get us there before we find a place of our own, but primarily interested in teaming up on a lease with another single mum, or other older students.
28 y/o creative designer with a friendly+low risk cat (Mishka). I am extremely tidy, respectful and environmental. I like to be social on weekends and would like to host friends over for wine and such from time to time. My ideal housemates would be super cool, cultured, love a drink, going to gigs and social events, good music, are clean, sustainable and have an interest in recycling/minimising waste. I am interested in starting a share house. Move in date is flexible AROUND XMAS/NYE (looking for work before moving up) & length of stay but prefer 6+ months and around The Hill/Cooks Hill/Newy East area.
Hey, I'm going into my 3rd year of physio at UON so would ideally be looking to move around uni. I also work part-time so am quite reliable when it comes to paying the rent. Hello, I'm originally from the lower blue mountains. I moved to Newcastle to study environmental science. I love all things environment, in particular plants, fungi, lichen and moss. Apart from that I like to ferment things so I come with a pet Scoble lol. I'd love to find a peaceful place that feels like home. Good vibes, good people and lots of smiles. I work as a bush regenerator for trees in newcastle and also in hospitality at a function centre aswell as studying so I'm generally pretty buisy but would also love to find flat mates I could call family. I'm looking for a place with a cute backyard where I can sip tea in the mornings.
Very chill guy and easy to get along with. I currently work part time and study. I'm tidy and never miss rent payment.
,day. April here. Im residing back to Newy ( Novocastrian born and bred), to study and working part time to and from Syd in the Fashion industry. Terrible at 'selling' myself in bio's, so ill simplify it with dot points. * Well accustom to housemate etiquette * Always up for the following- outing activity ( live gigs, beach, bush walking/running), A Netflix or movie binge, Cooking up a barbie or a feast for family and friends, atc. * I can vacuum til the cows come home if i have the right soundtrack. Includes all matters of cleaning actually. * I own a set of wheels, so car pooling/ lifts/ late night early morning pick ups/ roads trips are A-ok!. Looking for a place with in roughly 15km radius of Newcastle city. Reasonable size room and built in wardrobe would be great! unfurnished is a-ok , though if it has a bed already thats a plus. Dont get the chance to go out alot but enjoy live music when opportunity arises. Dont have any special diets or restrictions. Pets are a huge perk. Looking for a pad that has easy going, just legendary chums and people. Cheers
Currently I am working part time as an educator while studying law and arts full time in Newcastle and I'm looking for somewhere to move to for the new year! I'm neat and relatively organised, in my free time I speed watch tv, recompose my room design, read when I can and enjoy generally exploring the city. Not a huge partier but that doesn't mean I won't enjoy the occasional casual after work drinks and snacks. Looking for somewhere to live longer term that feels less like a house and more like a home. I mostly keep to myself but can hold a conversation and 4/3 people surveyed say my sense of humour is delightful with an occasional dash of black comedy.
Hey! I’m Jorden. I’m a 26 year old female, working full time in Tomago. I’ve recently moved up to Newcastle from Sydney and originally from Wollongong. I love being social and having a sneaky beverage on the weekends but also appreciate my own space. I'm clean and tidy. Just looking for a place with a nice vibe.
I work full time in Mayfield. Looking for a room in a flat or teamup somewhere fairly close by. I have 3 daughters aged 5,4, and 1. I will have them every second weekend. so i'm looking for a safe place where they will enjoy coming to stay. i'm relaxed, tidy and considerate around the house. I enjoy playing guitar
Hi there, 24 year old from Singapore, completing studies from Feb 2019 - Dec 2019, looking for a quiet place to stay. I do freelance design from time to time as well. Very clean, tidy, and I love gatherings and making meals :)
Hey! I'm Dani, I'm 24 and working full time in Newcastle. I'm looking for a place with friendly, like-minded people who can be friends as well as housemates. I am a clean, respectful and open minded person who loves throwing some banter and a good chat. I'm big on food, the ocean, a beer or wine in good company, live music and a little spontaneity. Looking for somewhere central to town with a good atmosphere! 😊
I am a clean and respectful woman that is looking for some good people to live with. I work at a Steiner school as a teacher's aide and my hobbies include swimming, sailing, walking, reading, textiles and watching a little netflicks :)
21 years old, I have recently become straight edge (no smoking or drugs, occasional drinker since the 1st of Nov) for my own health and fitness goals, I love the gym and play multiple instruments with my main being guitar. Looking to move asap as I am sick of living with too many people at any given time in a halfway home setup, where people do not know how to clean up after themselves or manage their finances effectively (I am a tenant here with 4 other housemates and 2 couch surfers). I am a cleaner at Coles so you can expect me to leave no mess and have the place spotless. You can also expect that I will keep to myself mostly, like I'm not even there, unless you're after more of a social household, I'm flexible on that front. That said, I have strong communication skills and am a very upfront person, so I talk about things that are on my mind so that everyone understands how I feel about stuff, good or bad. I'm happy to make friends if there are common interests, have no problem if there aren't. End of the day I'm just after a quieter household with more responsible people. Cheers!
Hi there I'm a responsible 31 yr old Christian looking for a room. Currently studying through TAFE online. I'm easy going, clean and respectful. I've lived in many share houses before so am experienced. I enjoy socialising but also like my quiet time. Love watching movies, cooking and hanging out with friends. Love animals but don't have any pets of my own. Looking for somewhere close to public transport. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
Young financial planning professional who likes to cook, binge watch netflix and have a relaxed wine. In my free time I am training for my next running race or event and can often be found drinking too much coffee in town or running around Newcastle before sunrise. Clean, sociable but also do my own thing. My partner, Nick is a 25yo fine dining chef who loves to make treats for the house and keep active. Looking for a place where we can mingle but have our own privacy.
Hi, I'm haylee I work part-time at KFC, my partner works full-time at Frost. I'm from a Ukrainian background so food and cooking is a must for me! I'm looking for 1-2 bedrooms either shared accomadation or not.
Full time working Landscape Architect. Easy going and enjoy spending time with others as well as alone. Respect other's space and help where I can. Like to think I am neat and tidy, enjoy cooking and conversation. Ideally looking to move in with people who are easy going and interested in conversation here and there.
My name is Charlotte (27 yrs), I am new to Newcastle, originally from Goa, India. I am here to complete my PhD in immunology at Hunter Medical research centre. I ain't-a fussy roommate, love giving space and a stickler for house rules if there are any. Love the beach and a self-proclaimed great chef and I am very into sports. Allergic to dairy products especially albumin (eggs), pet dander (cats and dogs unfortunately although I do love them, I am not a monster!). I can blend in like a chameleon (haha! my spirit animal :)). I am also a lil bit of a geek- big anime fan as well as marvel and DC😬.
Hey, I'm Zoe! I'm a full time makeup artist managing a luxury beauty brand, I also freelance and have a few side hustles. I'm looking to move at the end of January because of the crazy Christmas period but I'm open to something sooner. I work a lot so most of the time spent at home is sleeping or tapping away at my computer. I am social and friendly but I often find I'm super exhausted from talking to people all day so usually I like to chill on my own and indulge my introvert side. I'm looking for a place closer to town with great access to public transport, as I don't drive. I'd love to be with just another professional young woman but I'm open to anything really! I keep things tidy and I rarely have people over. I have no pets, just me and my office/bedroom stuff, but always happy to contribute to household appliances etc. Send me a message if your place might be right for me! Bonus points if you're up to volunteering to have your makeup done every now and again while I practice!
