I'm 33, working full time, clean, tidy and respectful. I enjoy keeping fit and living a healthy lifestyle. I much prefer nights in watching movies over nights out these days but do still enjoy the occasional night out every now and then! Interested In living with people close to my age in and around the Newcastle area - who are easy going and don't take life too seriously! Ideally I’m looking for somewhere with air conditioning and a garage. Also keen to team up with someone to find a nice place! Msg me if you think we would make good housemates.
ABOUT ME: I'm Emily :) I'm currently working full-time & studying Land Conservation & Management, so am interested in the environment and enjoy being outdoors. Other things that interest me: mountain biking, self-improvement, slacklining, Netflix (documentaries & dinner, anyone?), gym, live music... SHARE DETAILS: I like to think i'm a fairly easy-going and respectful housemate. I'm independent, but enjoy hanging out with cool company too! My ideals are the surrounding Hamilton/Tighes Hill/Islington areas, but am also happy for other Newcastle-ish suburbs. I am also super flexible with length of stay. If you've got a place in mind, let me know!
I’m Adam, I’m 25 and work as a chef in Wickham. I’ve done sharehousing in the past so I’m familiar with the general expectations of housemates and maintaining a homely environment. I’m a tidy person and clean up after myself, pay rent/bills on time, respectful of everyone’s space and privacy. I do like to keep myself busy when I’m not working so I’ll usually be at the gym, out with mates, or relaxing with something on tv.
22, work full time (Mon-Fri) in Health. Lease is now up and I'm looking to find a housemate (preferably just one but flexible). Open to moving in with somoene or teaming up. Pretty chill but I do like a clean place, enjoy some alone time but always up for a hang/beer.
Hey guys, recently got a transfer with work to Newcastle and will be moving within the next month. I work in retail so my shifts can vary from day-night, but I still love to make time for myself and socialising, going out for a drink or just chilling at home with friends and a wine :) I'm from England originally and have lived in Tamworth NSW for almost 7 years. Love meeting new people and making new friends, I'm a fairly outgoing and fun person and definitely love having a drink or two. Ideally looking for a place I can move into fairly quickly (furnished is a preference but not set in stone), with some laid back, friendly housemates like myself. Thanks guys and hope to hear from you soon!
I spend my time going to the beach, surfing, training Muay Thai, doing yoga, cooking veggo food, reading and seeing live music. I'm keen on healthy eating + buying from the Farmers Market. Also pretty comfortable with dumpster diving! I'm moving out of an established beachy sharehouse in Newcastle. I have access to heaps of cool furniture, plants and house appliances that would be perfect for a new property.
I'm a fun placid 19 year old, I'm studying primary education at the University of Newcastle. Looking for a tidy place with friendly, tidy room mates. :)
Hello! I'm from the Central Coast and am going to be starting full-time work in Newcastle, so I'm looking for a new pad near by. I've travelled a lot and am used to respecting other people's privacy as I have lived in a lot of share houses. I love to make new friends and meet new people, share stories, laugh, create, and just have an all round good time! I'm really excited to be visiting all my fave spots in Newcastle regularly, my spare time usually consists of a whole lotta op shopping, visiting cafes, record stores, book stores, and enjoying things that aren't from this time =). I spend a lot of time drawing, reading, and discovering new music. I'm the kinda roomy that loves to hear about your day and wants to build a friendship, want to know more? Feel free to ask!
Hi, I’m Hayley and I’m a 29 year old Primary School teacher. I’m an easy going, fun and relaxed person who also likes to be organised, clean and tidy! I love a good Netflix sesh, coffee, a wine or 3, photography and taking in Newcastle’s views with a walk along the beach! I’m looking for a house that will be a home where we all get along and can socialise but also respect each other’s space when needed. ☺️
Hi I am Ash! :) A bubbly & friendly 25 yr old gal. I work full time in sales & marketing & am also studying to become a Personal Trainer via correspondence. My 21 yr old boyfriend Dylan (who is the quieter one out of us 2 haha) also works full time & we are great to live with because we are super respectful, honest, reliable with bills & truly make an effort to always bring good vibes wherever we go :) We spend most of our time at work & the gym, going on adventures & camping in my van at the beach. We are social people & always down for a chat but also respect others privacy & we do enjoy our quiet time sometimes too. We are looking for a house to call home & flatmates to become friends :)
We are a quiet couple who love to be together and do our own things. We will generally stick to ourselves, although we do love socializing with the right people through a few drinks or over dinner. We are easy going and love being outdoors, but also love to chill out and watch a whole bunch of movies. We are great with animals and would welcome being apart of any household with pets.
I'm tidy, friendly and always pay rent on time.
Greg (24) and Rhiannon (22), looking for a room together in Newy. Looking for somewhere for 4 months minimum but are open to extending that if the right place comes up! We both work full time mon-fri and tend to chill during the week, then go out for drinks/sports/activities on the weekend. Looking for somewhere fun and sociable but not a party house. Ready to move now or any time over the next couple of weeks. If we fit the bill get in touch!
We are a very easy going couple. We are quiet, non smokers and non drinkers who mainly keep to ourselves so to give you your own space but also do like the odd chats. We love staying active and healthy ( gym, yoga, beach etc). We both work part time and I also study. We are very clean, respectful, friendly and easy to live with.
Hello, my name is Kirra, I am 20 years old and I have just moved down to Newcastle from Townsville, NQ. I have lived on my own for 2 years now and I am very clean, look after myself, I like to stay very active and I am very easy going and social. I have a beautiful little cat named Bailey, she is very well behaved, makes little to no mess (only her hair) and is very good with other animals, especially dogs.
Hello possible future flatmate/s! I'm 24 years old and love art, cooking, gardening, beers, skating and the beach. I'm an outdoorsy kinda guy and would say I'm easy to get along with. I'm looking to move out towards the end of August, so if I sound like your kinda flatmate feel free to message me
A very outdoor person but still love me-time at home. Helping my friend with his business at the moment while exploring courses that i can take up here.
Hello! I have just moved to Newcastle and am looking for a place to live. I'm 25 and working full time. I like sports, hanging out with friends and going to the beach on arvos or weekends! I'm easy going, friendly and considerate and am looking for similar housemates to live with :)
Very easy going. Busy working part-time and studying at UON. Third year studying a Bachelor of Speech Pathology Honours. Like to go out for dinner, have a drink and socialise on the weekends. Also like some down time and personal space. Extremely respectful, neat and tidy. I enjoy going for walks and hikes, working out at the gym, health and fitness, spiritual person (don't mind a bit of yoga and meditation every now and then), cooking (vegetarian and vegan), reading, and enjoy doing art in my down time. Live a pretty healthy and active lifestyle but also like to indulge now and then. Would love to meet some like minded people who I can potentially become great friends with! Much prefer a community and friendly home rather then a share house! Currently living on the Central Coast and looking to move closer to uni for the next few years and for a nice change. Unfortunately unable to move out until the start of August as I am having a surgery at the beginning of July and will need to be at home to recover for the month before I am able to move out.
I am currently finishing my degree and working part time so when I am home I need to be able to study but I also like making new friends, cooking, getting outdoors and socialising. I am really easy going and enjoy having a wine and chat. I lived in many share houses over the years so I am very mindful of other people's space. In saying that I would prefer to share with someone like minded.
Hi, my names Tom, I'm currently studying Bachelor of Music at the Con in Newcastle. I play bass so it's not too loud and won't disturb any potential housemates too much. I'm outgoing, I like to make friends and will never say no to having a drink after a long week. Feel free to send me a message if you reckon I'd like your place.
I am Jackson from Zambia. I will be in Australia in January 2019 to attend my masters program for two years at the Newcastle University. I am sober minded and married with no kids. I am looking for a place for myself and probably in few months after being in Australia, my wife will join me. I look forward to any linkages on a place that is not very far from Newcastle University.
My names Amy, I’m 21 and work casually, although full time hours, in Wallsend. I like to spend my time at the gym, watching Netflix or I’ll be catching up with my family. I am tidy, clean and respectable. Easy to get along and fun to have around. I am more than open to have a chat but also respect others privacy. Feel free to message me if you have any questions :)
Hi! I'm a full time Bio-med student and work part time as a waitress. I'm an easy going individual looking for some like minded people to potentially live with! I'm a clean and sociable person who enjoys having a chat. I'm not a huge drinker/partier but don't mind enjoying a few on weekends, I love heading to the beach and gym around my semi-hectic uni/work schedule.
From Victoria seeking a change of scenery and lifestyle. Pretty chill and try to keep everything as clean as I can. Have been labouring for the past 18 months and have saved up some money, but it is now time to find a career path. Looking to get back into my fitness and Im gonna learn to surf.
My name is Charlotte Alemao (27 yrs), I am moving to Newcastle, Australia from Goa, India to complete my PhD in immunology at Hunter Medical research centre. I ain't-a fussy roommate, love giving space and a stickler for house rules if there are any. Love the beach and a self-proclaimed great chef and I am very into sports. Allergic to dairy products especially albumin (eggs), pet dander (cats and dogs unfortunately although I do love them, I am not a monster!). I can blend in like a chameleon (haha! my spirit animal :)). I love the beach as my hometown is filled with them its only natural! A total coast girl!
Easy going young dude from Port Macquarie, looking for some quality people to get a nice place with! Working in sales full time through the day with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. Definitely not a slob, do enjoy my own time and space to myself but very keen to entertain guests as well and meet a quality new social group! Don't mind living with either gender but don't really care to buy into any drama. Enjoy good music, snapping photos, salsa dancing and food... Will rarely turn down a beer either! Work out near Toronto in a display home but unfortunately we all can't just live there! :( but I don't mind the drive to work for the sake of a really nice place close enough to the Action of Newcastle! Keen??
I enjoy being on the go and being adventurous. I enjoy keeping active, the beach, yoga, good coffee, good conversation, wine, live music and music of any kind and I enjoy being creative. I love having fun but also enjoy down time.
I’m a 28 yr old, full time accountant still studying commerce at uni. I have a beautiful 1 Yr old dog Bonnie that I absolutely adore. We love heading down to the dog beach on the weekend and curling up watching tv at night. I’m not one for partying but don’t mind the odd drink at home with a few friends. I’m a pretty good cook but don’t get a great deal of time for it. Looking for some like minded people to start a share house with, so let me know if this sounds like you!
I feel I am quite a nice person, I am usually quiet, however I do enjoy a drink or six on the weekend. I am really interested in making friends, it is terribly lonely living by yourself. I work full time and generally head to dance class most afternoons. I like a tidy uncluttered house, but can deal with a small mess for a short period of time. I have a 4 year old cat named James- Baxter, she is litter trained, however spends most of her time outside exploring, she does like to come in for a cuddle at night. She is the most friendly cat - stranger danger isn't much of a thing for her.
Scotty, 20 from Lambton, I’m a pub & club guard and also work in a pub casually as my second job. My usual routine is starting work in the arvo / night, I finish and get home in the early hours of the morning anywhere from 1:30 to 4 but I’m a very respectful person I wouldn’t make noise when I do get home! I’m on top of my tidiness & cleanliness!! I’m not a fan of mess lol, non smoker but doesn’t bother me if I live with smokers. When I’m not working I’m either usually catching up on my sleep and watch a bit of Netflix or being social catching up with mates for a feed and a beer or similar. I have a easy going attitude friendly and genuine person.
Im 31 and currently attending UON for my postgraduate studies and I work part time as well. I'm quiet, tidy and considerate. Dont mind pets I would consider myself fun and outgoing however do value both your privacy as well as my own. With that being said, I do treasure meaningful friendships and thoughtful conversations over a couple of beers! Please hit me up if you have a suitable apartment/home, or if you're also hunting for apartments/home and think we'd be a good fit! Cheers!
Hello, I'm a doctor working at John Hunter Hospital and have been living in Newcastle for 3 years. One of my flatmates is moving overseas and the other is moving in with their partner, so I'm up for a new place! :) I'm not into parties these days, enjoy the occasional drink, don't smoke. Definitely keep the common spaces clean. I have good table manners (I don't eat with my mouth open). I stay fit and go rock climbing reasonably often (would be happy to show you the ropes). I'm respectful, can cook, and can probably answer your medical questions - take your rashes to a GP though :) Ideally move in on 3rd September but chat to me if your situation is more urgent and we can make a plan.
