Hey everyone, I’m looking for a room near Hawthorn- flexible with length of stay/suburbs and open to teamups. :) I don't really mind who you are or what things you like doing, the only traits i'm really looking for are people who are laidback, open-minded and considerate of personal boundaries like privacy and comfort zones- if we get along well, nothing else is a concern for me. ...and punctuality with rent/housekeeping, but I suppose that's a given. 😌 I'd like to establish a cosy home atmosphere where everyone can feel genuinely "at home" and not just staying somewhere, and where there's no constant pressure to socialize but the opportunity is always there- it'd be great to live with people who can give you space but also have a good chat with. I love doing things that involve film, music, games and outings such as live events- and especially love it when there's other people to do it with, so flatmates who'd like to do those things are a bonus. If those things aren't really your cup of tea, i'm also open to new things and don't really drag people into my personal hobbies anyway. I don't care if you're alternative, sporty, artsy, introvert or extrovert, it's all totally fine- anyone that's kind and open-minded is good in my books. :) If you think we might get along, send me a message so we can chat- and possibly make plans if we do get along well. :) (Oh, if you're worried about my age and capacity for living independently- i've already adjusted to adult life so i'm fine in that regard, not a big spender. I also have an excellent rental history that I can provide references for upon request.)
I am currently studying science at monash uni and working part time. In my spare time I love baking (huge sweet tooth) , wine n cheese and watching far too much tv.
Hey g'day everyone! My name's Matt, I'm 23 years old and I'm searching for some cool people to live with. Besides being bloody good at paying rent and bills on time, here's a little about me; I work as a salesperson during the week, normally find me at the gym week nights and enjoy getting out of the house on weekends. If the suns out, there's a good chance I'll be at the beach. I enjoy having a couple beers and a night out, but also like to kick back and relax watching a movie with everyone. I'm always down for a chat, but completely understand people's personal space. However I won't be the guy who stays in his room all day. I have a budget about $190pw and looking at areas around hawthorn, kew, glen iris, malvern, camberwell and surrounding. Ready to move early to mid December.
I am somebody who is easy to live with. Meaning I keep the place clean and make sure I tidy up after myself (this is not a subjective matter clean and tidy does not look like a mess haha). I believe that living in a enjoyable environment makes for a better quality lifestyle.I am also a friendly person and love playing sports who enjoys good company. I'm really looking for a place to call home at least for a while since I'm just getting out to work.
Hi I'm Alan, 32 year old plumber and business freelancer. I am clean and tidy and enjoy keeping my living space the same. I'm also very active and love to get away hiking and camping when possible. When at home I enjoy cooking, reading or the occasional movie. However my work q schedule can be busy and some days I don't get to spend too much time at home. Easy going and always keen to share a meal or grab a drink. If you have any questions just ask :)
Hi! I'm from the country looking to move closer to the city. I love cooking - especially sweet things, watching tv shows and playing sport. I'm respectful, clean and sociable. I've just obtained a position as a primary teacher for next year, so looking to move out soon!
I'm 22, just about to finish my master of social work. I keep to myself a fair bit but am very friendly and responsible, will always do my fair share of the work. Am going to be very busy next year so can anticipate that most days I'll be out of the house. I'm currently in student apartments but need to move because I'm 24 days off not being a student anymore :) I'm a disability support worker currently but looking for social work jobs at the moment. I always pay bills on time :) Am mostly just looking for a place where we can be friendly but I'll also have my own space. Am also interested in any area in Melbourne really so let me know if you've got anything :)
Hi! I'm a pretty laid back person who is looking for a place that I feel comfortable in and get along well with the other residents. Some days I like to go out and socialise, other times need to sleep and binge watch tv. I'm planning to head back to study at the start of next year, but am looking for a place to live close to Swinburne University before then :) I like horror movies, coffee and chinese food.
I'm a 28 year old Kiwi who has lived in Melbourne for 5 years. I'm looking for a place around Boroondara that is fairly social (but also happy to give a bit of space), with like-minded people. I work full-time as a Web Developer, close to Camberwell Junction. In my spare time I like to swim, go for big bike rides, work out with friends (gym and martial arts), play some guitar, and work on some side projects. Not a massive drinker but also not opposed to a some bevs occasionally. Non-smoker. I've lived away from home for 10 years, so I've learnt to be a good housemate, pay bills on time, pull my weight around the house, etc :)
I'm easy going, some times I'm out late a few nights a week, then I'll be home for several nights in a row as well. Up for hanging out with some all of the house mates at planned things and have a solid group of friends to maintain as well so I'm easy hopefully :). The only thing I want whereever I live, is secured parking (that will rule lots of you out I'm sorry guys), I have a new car and I want to keep it covered, I've made many compromises over the years to make sure it always had a roof over its head at least, if not in a full garage/underground spot. No dietry requirements, just don't really like fish, oh I have a coffee machine and am a bit of a coffee addict.
I am a 33 years old podiatrist, just moved to Melbourne from QLD. I love to hang out with housemate while keeping some personal space. I go to the gym on a regular basis and love a lot of outdoor activities. I rarely go party, sitting on the couch and enjoying a good movie is a typical Saturday night for me. I socialize with people but reading a book is more time-worthy for me. I am a grown up man and like my living condition clean and tidy. I am looking for like-minded roommates to enjoy the insignificant but memorable moments of life rather than cheap rent.
I am a swimming teacher among doing odd jobs here and there. I enjoy spending time with friends but also like the chance to relax at home. I am out and about a lot with work and social events. I enjoy sports especially AFL so most weekends I will head into the city to see a game. I love a chat so happy to hang out in the lounge for a chat or just sit and watch tv or movies. I am also clean and tidy.
Originally from Canberra, currently reside in Carlton North. Seeking an unfurnished room in the the inner northern or eastern suburbs for move in September. Full time Project Manager working in the far Eastern suburbs. Enjoy making tunes and spinning decks in my spare time, as well as hitting the gym and playing bball. Keen to join a household that's up for occasional hangouts or shared meals. I'm easy going, open minded and considerate. Looking for a home with house mates, not just a house with strangers.
Hey! I'm a warm, open minded and respectful housemate always up for a good belly laugh, house movie nights, or just chilling on my own in the hammock with a good book. Huge animal lover, so pets are a plus. Vego, but anything but preachy. Musician, but respectful of the quiet hours. Ideally I'd love to find a place with a good garden to help out in, a bath, and I'm hoping for more of a sociable, friendly household; somewhere that's not afraid to go and grab beers together sometimes, while still keeping up a healthy respect for space and privacy too. Not looking for an immediate move, but just testing out the waters, and if the shoe sounds like it fits, let me know!
Student from Barcelona looking for a place to live near Swinburne University from end January 2018 to June 2018. I love sports, reading and watching Netflix. Would love a chilled flatmate with whom I could hang around and have a couple of beers.
Hi! My name is Caitlin, i'm a 24 year old Social Work student, in my last semester at Monash. I work part-time alongside uni. I come with a lop-eared bunny called Isabelle, an indoor bun who lives in a hutch, very quiet and clean. I spend my spare time binge-watching netflix and making art. I'm a friendly person who loves a good chat and wine, and socialising on the weekend, but also time alone. Fairly tidy but not too worried about a bit of mess, would like to live with someone who is similar. Looking for a long-term home with housemates who want a similar vibe!
We are a super chill couple who are looking for a house where we can get the most out of life. We like living a healthy lifestyle, being active and spending time in the outdoors. Danielle loves to cook and Judd is a big footy fan. We both work full time and are professionals but would love a social house where everyone is happy to hang out and have a few drinks, good vibes. We would call ourselves 'pubbers' not 'clubbers' and clean up after ourselves. Flexible on location and when to move in- just looking for a chill place to live and preferably a room with our with own bathroom. We will also have Jags the cat, who does his own thing and is also a bloody legend
Hi all, Im a 22 year old registered nurse, I'm a shift worker, working a rotating roster. Rarely on nights, very considerate when getting up at odd times and aware the sucky schedule doesn't suit all. So ideally other nurses/healthcare professionals or shift workers may work better :) Outside of work, i love keeping fit and enjoy the gym as a little outlet, always keen for a spontaneous trip away and love cheap adventures. Love travel, so super interested to hear stories if thats what your into as well. I love a social glass of wine occasionally, but I'm not a big drinker and not interested in party house. Im looking for a home where we can be social, but also respect each others personal space. Lover of dogs, allergic to cats :( Happy to answer any questions thrown my way Hola if your interested in a team up. J
Hi, I am a vet nurse and her pooch looking for a place to call home. Like my dog I'm a bit of a forever puppy, that being said I work hard and that includes longish hours 4 days a week. I'm 28 and live a pretty clean lifestyle. I'm not apposed to hanging out/a movie marathon with a glass of wine/beer or whatever, but also more than happy to entertain myself if you are more on the private side. My dog 5yo dog absolutely adores people, he is a big boy so that may not be everybody's cup of tea but he will do his utmost to make you fall in love with him (It's not hard), don't worry though he knows he's not a lap dog! I am very open minded and accepting and looking to share a home with like minded people. I'm looking at a longer term stay depending on how suitable the situation is. I am looking for a place to call home.
I'm a happy, social 21 year old female making the move from Canberra to Melbourne in order to pursue greater opportunities and continue my studies in Melbourne. Hi. I'm an accountant from the UK based in Melbourne until the end of June next year. I did the share house thing when I first got to Melbourne a year ago and it's not for me - I'm 37 and always lived alone. So I'm now in a studio in Glen Iris but paying $340 per week. I'm just looking to see if there is something cheaper out there - and there's not much going on in Glen Iris to be fair its a bit boring. I'm reliable and clean. I don't really know anyone in Melbourne so I'm just keeping out of trouble, saving money, and completing my accounting exams. My partner Jason is based in Townsville but will be visiting me for two weeks over Christmas and for the odd weekend between now and the end of June. My office is in Box Hill but moving to Camberwell at the end of January and I'm not buying a car for the short time I'm here so need to be near a Liliydale/Belgrave station ideally.
Hi my friend and I are looking for a team up in areas around the locations I have put above. We are both students and work part time. Both very social people but do enjoy quite time.
I'm a clean and tidy person, used to live in a flatshare. Recently moved to Melbourne from France. In the process of looking for an admin job, previously employed as a cabin crew. Not a party lover, don't mind a nice chat and a glass of wine though.
Hi my name is Grace, and I'm currently Studying Arts and Deakin University in Burwood. I have been living in student accommodation for the past year and am just looking to move out somewhere quieter. There is nothing I love more than having a good chat with someone but I also appreciate having some downtime by myself. I'm looking for someone who has a similar sense of humour and who can hopefully become a good friend.
Hey, everyone, i am looking to find a good roommate to start a two bedroom apartment with! My budget is about 200-220 a week and I am interested in the nicer places. I am currently living in an old unit with my cousin but I'm really tired of it an am ready to move to a better place and my only problem is finding a good roommate. Here is a little about me. I am an engineering student at Monash and am busy most of the time. I go uni then I'm busy with work and gym and for the time I'm home I'll probably be busy cooking, studying or making music. The downside is that I am extremely clean! lol Like I can't stand a dirty kitchen, toilet or house! And I don't wear shoes or walk in with my shoes inside the house. Idk if that's bad or good but I am clean and expect the people living with me to be clean as well. If that is a thing you can get on board with, we should be all good in all the other departments! I don't want us to be like strangers, I want us to live in the house together and be friends! I am a socializer so it is hard for me to not interact with someone whom I'm living with :D You will like me, haha Trust me! I am open to meet people and go from there! :) (I only want student roommates, Even better if they are at Monash too) Peace
Im a really chilled person, love relaxing and watching stuff on my computer, im always studying and working so i tend to spend most of my time with that. Alround clean and tidy, so no need to worry if i clean up after myself or not. I love dogs and meeting new people is a plus too.
I am an aspiring performer working part-time, hoping to work full-time once i move. I am clean and organised, a non-smoker and like to keep to myself. I am looking for a room to live in for the new year with housemates preferably around my age and a friendly house.

I am super chill and really respectful of other peoples space! I clean up after myself in common spaces and enjoy having a wine or 2 when everyone’s home together! I like to go out every now and then and catch up with friends, and try to be pretty creative when I get spare time :)
Hi all! I’m looking for a place to move once my lease ends in February, at the moment i’m living in a student housing and it’s a bit pricey. A little about me: my parents are Sri Lankan, i was born in London, and raised in Perth - the perfect recipe for a cultural identity crisis haha Currently studying business/aviation at Swinburne Uni. I’m a pretty quiet person - not in a weird way, i’m just very simple and laidback, love a good netflix binge and i’m almost always listening to music or reading. i’m also that girl who eats kfc on the way to back from the gym so i guess in some way that has to cancel out right? i am looking to make new friends and establish myself in melbourne as i just moved here permanently in January. so anyone with a place available in the hawthorn area or inner city in february just send me a message on flatmates to let me know! :)
Hi everyone, My name is Eliza. I currently work full time in financial planning in the city. I am a very tidy person and will always help out with any cleaning or cooking that needs to be done. I enjoy my own space but will be great company for my housemate. I would love to also meet some new people. I am originally from Batemans Bay in NSW and moved to Melbourne after I finished high school. I enjoy keeping fit through dancing and boxing. I mostly spend my time at work, at the gym or out with friends. I enjoy nights out but am just as happy to relax with a glass of wine and plenty of cheese! Please feel free to message me.

Our ideal location would be Richmond however we are open to other possibilities listed below!

I'm a relaxed, easygoing individual looking for some cool people to share a house with! I'd be happy to find a room within a share house, or team up with others and hunt for a home together. I studied a Bachelor of Fashion at RMIT, and currently working as a Costume Designer part-time, and supplementing my income by Bartending/Waiting in Doncaster and as a Nanny in Croydon, so would prefer to live somewhere near the Eastern Freeway. I love to catch up with friends over coffee or a few drinks. I love camping and the outdoors, though prefer a clean home. I go to gym a couple of times a week, but love cooking and enjoy a good plate of pasta. Message me if you're interested or have a room available!
