Hi, I recently moved to Melbourne from New Zealand to start a new job. I am based in Bundoora but happy living in the north/east suburbs. In my spare time I like to go to the gym, explore the outdoors, and enjoy trying to cook delicious food. I am looking for a quiet place to call home with friendly and relaxed people. I value open communication and mutual respect in a house share situation. Looking for people similar who are friendly and like to have a chat, share the joys and challenges of life, yet is independent and enjoys their own space. I usually do my own cooking however am happy to share with others who enjoy vegan treats or a hot cup of soy chai latte.

I'm a 25 year-old working in Mordialloc and currently looking for a long-term stay in a share house in the inner north of Melbourne. When I'm not working I'm a keen cyclist and cricketer, podcast listener and pub trivia maniac. I've lived in sharehouses for the last five years across a couple of different countries, so I'm housebroken, reasonably tidy and cool with pets, especially silly cats and lazy dogs. I'm happy to keep to myself most of the time, but if you're living in a more social house then I can dig it.
I am a professional female working 9-5 job in Human Resources and also do some volunteer HR work for a Non-for-Profit arts organisation in the evenings and weekends. So generally very busy during work days. I am looking for share accommodation in a suburb closer to Melbourne city preferably in the east. My preference is to have a private room with own bathroom plus parking. I moved to Melbourne from Sydney last year and have been travelling a fair bit last year. I am spending a lot more time in Melbourne this year and looking to find a place to share with someone easy to get along with, fun and a clean/tidy person . I am an easy going person, very social, like to hit the gym/run 4-5 times a week and people generally love to have me around. I am very clean and always make sure the place is left spotless for the next person. In saying that, I don't have OCD;) I also like to cook when time permits, mostly over the weekends and happy to share any new recipes I try out with my flatmates. Due to a busy work schedule, I don't generally have much time during the week at home but always up a chat, a glass of wine or dinner when I am around. I am also very respectful of other peoples privacy.
Hi, I'm Mat! I’m a neat and tidy guy, I’m pretty quiet and have excellent taste in films and Thai food. I study Aerospace Engineering at RMIT University in the city. I currently live in Werribee so would like to find a new place much closer to the city. I spend most of my time studying either at home or at uni. I am financially secure and a considerate housemate. I worked for iiNet for many years and am excellent at helping to fix internet issues and providing free in-house IT help for housemates! I enjoy tending to the garden, watching movies, live music, playing video games and getting out of the house to see friends. I'm also exploring the world of health & fitness. My preference is to find a place north of the city, close to public transport and shops. Happy to answer any other questions you have, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Hello! I'm looking for a base in Melbourne as spend part of my time 1.5 hours out of the city. I work for myself - teaching yoga and am building another new web business, plus doing some part time studies and other TCB things. I have a really good renting track record and it's because my time is divided that I'm keen to share in the city rather than manage another house independently. I keep a healthy lifestyle and home is usually a quiet space for me - although I do love music... I'd do well living with like minded people with similar values and routines - healthy, conscientious creative folk. I'm very easy around the house and happy to keep a house flowing well, clean and tidy! Happy to answer any other qus!
I'm currently studying my master degree and working part-time. I'm a non-smoker, calm, tidy and respectful person. I spend more of time studying. When I have spare time I enjoy watching movies.
Hi there! My name is Maddie, I'm in my mid twenties and I work full time as a primary school teacher. I am friendly, easy going and very respectful of others. I love getting away and all things travel related, art, tea, baking, films, music, keeping active, the outdoors and good food with friends. I have lived in share houses before and am looking for a friendly, homely and caring household. Somewhere that feels like a home rather than just a house and where the housemates enjoy having a chat at the end of the day or sharing a meal every now and then etc. I am a very tidy person and value a clean home so I am looking for housemates who are the same and share the cleaning. I am pretty busy during the week so would prefer a place where weeknights are fairly quiet. If these sound like the things you value too then I'd love to hear from you!
Hello I'm Sevi from Turkey.I'm 25 female.I'm student at Swinburne University. Also, I work part time.I'm looking for private rooms are around hawthorn and city areas.I'm outgoing, open-minded,friendly person.I respect everyone's privacy and lifestyle.
I am so incredibly clean! I am always cleaning up after myself. I personally love cooking in a clean kitchen with no previous dirty dishes or getting into a clean shower without hair everywhere, for example! :) I am great with my money and will always have rent and bill money put aside prior to when they're due. I do love to party on occasion (more than happy for that to be outside of the house) as I'm quite a sociable person, however I absolutely love my 'me time' to relax, read and meditate. I'm quite an easy going person, I'll never be in your face but won't also hide in my room 24/7.
Very social but also love my own time 😀 like to have a drink on occasion and have a good time with great company. I love going to the football, Richmond supporter to be aware of in advance 😂. Currently a full time student studying community services and nearly finished!! Very neat and tidy and respectful of people's space. Loves random banter and people who can have a laugh. Preferably looking at moving into a new home share.
Dedicated fashion student moving to Melbourne from Queensland. I'm studying at Billy Blue College this year and would love to find a humble, welcoming place to live. I like to keep my space neat and organised so I can be inspired and productive when I'm working. I love to be sociable and forming positive relationships with my flat mates is an important priority to me. I'm an easygoing girl to be around and enjoy yoga and meditation, exploring the forest, sifting through vintage stores, attending exhibitions, and finding new vegan spots around the city. I have always been on time and organised with paying rent etc, and like cleanliness, peacefulness and consideration for others. To share with people who have similar values would be wonderful! If you have any questions for me feel free to ask :)
Hi there, my name is Jemma, and I'm a full time teacher in Melbourne's east. I am a super friendly, clean and respectful housemate looking for a quiet and clean place to call home :) I work fairly long hours during term time (generally gone by 7am ish and return around 5.30ish) so I tend to prefer to lay low during the week, maybe watch a little bit of TV in the evening, read and hit the hay before 10pm. On the weekends I enjoy going for a walk, cooking, coffee, a cheeky glass of red and getting to the gym when I can.
Hi I'm a full time Manager at a Skin clinic in Camberwell. Hang out with friends and family alot, enjoy yoga and walking and enjoy my own space but also very friendly and like a drink to wind down. Very clean and respectful and busy with work!
I'm Zoe and I like to be a very considerate, neat and reliable housemate. I am always respectful of other peoples' property and possessions. I am friendly and sociable but I also enjoy relaxing and some quiet time when I'm at home. I really enjoy playing soccer and swimming to keep fit and I'll be studying Exercise Science full time this year. I'm moving to Melbourne from Brisbane for a bit of an adventure and will enjoy spending time with friends and family who also live down there, as well as hopefully meeting lots of new people! :)
I'm reliable, honest, clean and quiet. For relaxation I enjoy reading, easy listening music and travelling. I'm not into social media. However, I am a teacher so police checked every year.
Hey! I'm a 24 yo bloke working full-time as a carpenter as well as building up my own business, and I do a fair bit of volunteer time in the entertainment industry. I've been out of home for a few years now, done the share house thing for a bit so I know the drill, happy to help with housework etc etc. I'm a bit of a workaholic, so I like having my own space to crash, but I'm totally up for social times as well. I have a cat, he's an adorable 5yo ginger short hair, very affectionate! As far as I know good with other animals, he definitely makes friends wherever he goes! I'm looking for some humans to share a house. Non-smokers preferred, but ok as long as you smoke outside. Pets ok, if you're keen shoot me a message and we can go from there! Also looking at joining someone else's share house if possible. Looking to move pretty much as soon as I can, and looking for long-term like at least 12 months, but I'm easy. Any other questions let me know!
Hey, I'm a student from California studying nutrition at Swinburne. I practice yoga and I love nature, the ocean and moon, camping, hot springs, travel, music, art, theater and dance! I am easy going and mellow, I get along with people very easily and I love meeting new people and seeing new things. I'm not a huge drinker but every now and then I enjoy a night on the town or whatever. And I do enjoy my wine after dinner. I like to be social and friendly, but I also enjoy my alone time. Im always respectful of the people I live with and I don't mind doing chores. Im usually a pretty tidy person, especially in common areas. I love animals as well! Let me know if you want to do a team up! Namaste!
Just dropped out of Latrobe and need a new place to live because I was on res. I work part time at BWS and am currently looking for full time work. I plan on going back to uni next year so want to get a house nearish to Swinburne. I'm a pretty laid back person, clean and respect privacy but I'm also interested in living in a house with people who enjoy a few bevs every now and again :)

I'm a full-time student (aviation management) and I work part time at IKEA - I get a staff discount if we need any furniture! I'm a non-smoker, reasonably quiet and clean but not a neat-freak. I'm at uni 3-4 days a week and work some weekday nights and every second weekend. When I'm not studying/working I'm a bit of a homebody, I like staying in with a good book or movie. I'm also really into cycling (both my own bike, and watching the pros on telly). LGBT+ friendly, feminist, politically engaged, environmentally conscious, (mostly) healthy eater. Looking for a long-term place as I've got two years left of my degree. Team-ups actively encouraged!
Hi everyone! I'm a New Yorker (don't worry I hate Trump too). I've decided to move to Melbourne to work, travel and explore more of this beautiful world. I have lived with roommates before so I know how to share a space and keep things tidy! I have lots of experience in the hospitality industry so I like to think I have really good people skills as well. I'm looking for a place to move into around mid-April. I will be in Melbs starting March 23!
Hey my name's Harry. I'm 22 years old and will be a full-time student at Melbourne Uni from February. I'm from Torquay and am intending to move to Melbourne this year to study my masters in human resources. I'm very respectful of others and always clean up after myself; I also get along with pretty much everyone and enjoy socialising. During a typical week I'll be mainly studying, going to the gym, and occasionally having friends over here and there. On weekends I tend to enjoy either going out/seeing people, or just hanging around the house/playing video games if I'm feeling like a quiet one.
Hey future housemate! We are a couple from Perth and Sweden moving to Melbourne from Canada(confusing, I know). I will be studying IT well my girlfriend will be working full-time. She is on a working holiday visa at the moment but will be switching to permanent resident soon. We are both down to earth people who enjoy socialising with people from all walks of life. We are both into music and enjoy keeping busy throughout the week and weekend. It would be great to share accomodation with people who would like to grab a drink or food occasionally together. If anyone has a spare room or is looking to team up together, please get in touch.
I've lived in share houses for 5 years, and am respectful of people and the house. I love a good chat but also love chilling in my room. I work full time in marketing during the week and also at the footy on the weekends, go Hawks! I love weekend brunches and Pub Trivia! However my music taste is awful, as a Swiftie, Taylor is kween, but I won't subject you to it, i swear! Keen to create a home with my housemates, not just a shared space.
I am from Adelaide originally and moved here to start life as a junior lawyer. I work full time in the CBD but looking for a place to relax when i get home. I am very clean and organised. I have a car but can just as easily sell it if the right place comes along (also willing to consider share ownership/costs. I also have a bunch of nice furniture but likewise i can sell this as needed. I would prefer non-smokers but am not opposed to pets.
Hey all :) Me and my girlfriend are a couple from Byron Bay who like to go out and have fun but are generally very chilled out and quiet. I am currently living in Hawthorn on Swinburne university's student accommodation and my girlfriend is still in Byron Bay which is why we are trying to find somewhere to live asap. we are clean and easy to get along with, we are also very respectful and compassionate people. My girlfriend also has a 1yr old papillon cross who is toilet trained (very small dog haha). We do smoke just not regularly. If we sound like your ideal flatmates we would love to hear from you :) Regards, Rupert & Trilby
Hey Friends, Adam and I are looking for a third person to join us in a new house, anywhere between Kew/Balwyn area all the way down to the Caulfield/Bentleigh area in the next month or so. We are currently looking for houses and are requiring a third, if anyone is looking in this expansive area and would like to discuss this option, hit us up! We are both down to earth, chill, country lads who have been in Melbourne for the past 3-4 years. We play basketball weekly, are both active, aren't too shabby on the cleaning aspect and enjoy great banta. Don't say no to the occasional bev either! Look forward to hearing from you!
Hey, what's up? My name is Till, I'm an easy going, laid back, no drama kind of guy from Germany. I work full time in advertising as a content manager and will be in Melbourne to do so for 6 Months, starting May 1st. I love to dance (anywhere, anytime) and get out as much as possible, but I also enjoy a lazy night on the couch watching a show or a movie as well from time to time. I'm not too bad of a cook, however, I can never seem to get the portions right and always cook way too much. Since I'll only bring over 2 backpacks from Germany, it would be great if there'd at least be a mattress in my room or if you could help me get one. All in all I'm not looking for a mansion, but rather an affordable place to hit the hay and to have a good time in Melbourne. I don't consider myself a neatfreak, but I am obviously clean and reasonably tidy. Also, of course, I'm respectful to any nationalities, skin colours, sexual preferences, people's need for privacy and houserules. Hit me up if that sounds good to you, and I'm sure we'll figure something out! With regards, Till P.S.: don't worry too much about the districts I have selected – if I can get from your place to Cremorne in under or roughly one hour by public transport, that's fine.
I'm Matt and I currently work full time at Swinburne University as a break from studying. I like to bake and have been recently getting into my fitness. I'm very social and I am looking for a place that I like to come home too. I've been sharehouseing for about 4 years now and I'm a very respectful and clean person. I also have built up a collection of cookware, which I'm willing to contribute to the house.
After travelling Europe for a couple of months, I'm now in need of a new home. I have no idea what I'm doing with my life, so I'm happy with both temporary and longer-term homes. I'm sure I'll be in Melbourne for at least the next 6 months, probably longer, so I'm happy to sign a lease and such. I've been living in share houses for many years, so I'm well house trained, clean, respectful, chill and all that jazz! I'm available to move in anytime. A bit about me: I'm 24; I have a love of animals; my favourite meals are brunch, pre-dinner snack and dessert; I enjoy nature and sitting in parks; I've been working full time at a ski store for what feels like forever (but I enjoy it); I try to always look at the positive and/or funny side of life; my hair colour/style changes frequently (currently pink); I just started attending aerial circus classes for fun/fitness and love it; I enjoy going to musicals; I rely on public transport to get around; and I'm currently coming out of a 6 year obsession with Hi-5 (the kids band) that basically consumed my life. I will also provide daily smiles.
Hi future friends! I'm Ailsa, a 22 year old girl from Scotland! Having done a Law degree in Scotland I currently work full time as a legal assistant in the CBD, a job I really love. -----FEMALES ONLY----- Hello :) I'm looking for a team up of a friendly, as well as dog friendly, professional female who would like to team up and go halves in paying bond in a two bedroom secure apartment complex in well to do, but reasonably priced areas, such as Kew, or Ivanhoe. I figured if we get a two bedroom apartment for around $400-$450 then the cost would be quite cheap! I am going to inspect a few in the next two weeks, I haven't found a place yet, i figured if there's anyone out there in the same position as me we could possibly find one together and sign the lease together as well? I am a 27 year old Massage therapist and Beauty therapist, I'm a bit of a hippy, I enjoy personal and spiritual development, healthy clean food & positivity. I have hardly any hang ups and would prefer to live with someone who basically, has their shit together too. I do not party and I do not want a party house or a flatmate that is inclined that way- Although the occasional vino is okay, I'm not a total health freak as Im unfortunately still a smoker : ) My dog is 9 years old, small breed, toilet trained, loving & gentle. I'm home whenever I'm not at work, I don't believe in keeping my dog cooped up on her own for long, so i spend most of my time with her or with friends. Get in touch if this sounds like you!

I'm pretty easy going but I do like to keep things clean and tidy. I lived in house shares all through Uni so I know how to take the bins out and all that. I would love to find somewhere relaxed and homely where everyone gets along and can hang out together from time to time. When I'm not being attacked by cats at work I like all the usual things...eating/cooking, travel, going to gigs, napping, hummus. I am a terrible but ever enthusiastic surfer so will be making trips to the beach. Disclaimer...I can't keep a herb alive. I've killed at least 6 basil plants in my life so if you have any pet plants you might want to keep them away from me. Anything else you'd like to know just shoot my way. Sarah :)
I'm 24yo, currently working part time at Trinity Grammar while studying youth work at RMIT. Good guy to hang around with, can make a mean omelette and eggplant parma and will keep busy, but not uptight about it.

I like socialising, but equally like my alone time. I love exploring in nature with my camera, watching movies, the odd board game. I like a good chat too.

Hi Guys, I'm an easy going 26 year old, always up for a laugh and good bants. I work full time in product design and like to keep busy most of the time. I'd like to consider myself a neat person who respects other peoples privacy and space, whilst also appreciating the same in return. I love music and I'm always up for a gig on weekends or chats over a wine or 10. At this stage I will be travelling Europe over April / May /June so looking to move as soon as I get back.
Friendly, easy-going and respectful and looking for some housemates who are the same :-) I'm into theatre, arts, travelling, running, summer, going to the beach, Thai food, Indian food, any food actually ;-) I spent the last couple of years living and working in London and since returning I completed a Cert IV in Live Production and am now working in the theatre and events industry. I enjoy being independent but am keen to find housemates who are up for chatting, socialising and hanging out sometimes too. LGBT+ friendly a must! :-)
Hi, I'm Amanda, 29. I am moving to Melbourne from country SA. I currently work full-time and will be looking to secure work as soon as I move, if not before. I like baking, netball and am slightly obsessed with 'Friends'. I'm excited to start exploring Melbourne and seeing all that it has to offer. I am looking for housemates that, like me, are tidy, respectful, honest and cooperative. I am packing up a whole house of furniture and white goods so can organize for any/all of it to be moved to Melbourne if needed.
Weekdays: 9-5 work at Swinburne as a learning technologist. Some evenings I'll go to dance class or catch up with friends over a dinner/wine. Weekends: Getting out of the city, walks/hikes, scuba diving, camping, adventures etc. I am definitely have a work-to-live mentality and I treasure my weekends. I also like going out for the odd drink/night out dancing with the girls. I like cooking a lot, and I take my kitchenware very seriously. I am in a furnished house at the moment so I won't bring furniture but I will contribute some nice kitchen knives and other kitchen items. My wishlist for a house includes tidy and genuine roommates, an indoor toilet (I know this from experience), and a gas stove top (ideal but not necessary). Other than that I'm pretty relaxed. I hold my weight around the house in cleaning, purchasing shared items like toilet paper, cleaning products, etc. My move in date is flexible, but If I get on the lease now, I may stay only for a night or two for the first few weeks.
Looking for short or could be medium term, no fixed term im easy to get along with usually keep to myself, with the right flatmates love a ring and chat. I am mostly busy on the road or at home researching.
I am in my last year of study at Swinburne, studying International Studies. I am currently living with my parents on the Southeast fringes of Melbourne, but looking to move closer to Swinburne as the commute is starting to get to me. I lived alone and with flatmates in USA while I was over there studying, although have not done so in Australia. I work part time at Luna Park, and am looking for another job at the moment, as Luna will drop to about one shift a week over the winter. Moving out would depend on finding the second job. When I am not studying or working, I am either bumming around home on the computer, watching TV or playing video games, which I would be also up for doing with any potential flatmates. When I am not doing that, I try to get to the gym when I can, or I may be out with friends. I am not a big party animal, although I may occasionally stay out late with friends, or for work, but I will of course be respectful of other people sleeping if I do so, as I was on the receiving end of loud flatmates before.
I am a graduate from La Trobe University, and work full time in CBD. I am friendly, honest, a good housemate and enjoy meeting with new people. I am looking forward to stay with people who are clean, tidy, studying or doing a professional job. I love watching tv series, sports, movies and dpcumentaries.
