UPDATE Hi everyone! My name is Mirjam and I am originally from Austria. I have been living in Brisbane for the last 2+ years but am moving to Sydney on the 1st of June for an exciting job opportunity in the CBD as Marketing Officer. My boyfriend Aaron is coming as well in the middle of June for a job as a Speech Pathologist and we are looking for a nice place to stay. We are a very relaxed couple and like to keep shared spaces clean. We are very sociable (though we do like our time by ourselves as well - ambivert style) and would be very happy to share a flat with locals or people that have been in Sydney for a while and can share all of the city's little secrets. We are also interested in finding just a studio for ourselves. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to cats so I can't stay in a household with them. Regarding our interests, we both like to read, watch Netflix, working out, play Go and going out on occasion (though I'm not a big drinker). We are more of the stay at home, play board games and cook together sort of people and would love to find some fellow boardgame lovers! *IMPORTANT* - I am arriving by the 1st of June and would then like to spend two weeks looking at places and finding a good fit, so I can move in by the middle of June, soon after which my boyfriend will follow. - My little brother (16) is coming to visit for a month in July, so we need a place where it is okay for him to stay with us (same room or on a couch) during that time. - Sometimes friends might come to visit for a few days, so it would be nice if they can stay too.
Hi, I’m moving from the Gold Coast to Sydney, around 13th June (relatively flexible with this date). I’m 27, a lawyer and have just secured a job in St Leonards. I have a miniature long haired dachshund, who is super friendly and house trained. I love the beach, cooking, reading and going to the gym. During the week, I’m generally up early training or taking my dog for a walk. I work fairly long hours so would be home from about 6pm onwards Monday to Friday. On the weekends, I like to get out of the house. You’ll usually find me at the beach or at a restaurant or bar with friends. I’m extremely house proud. I’m very clean, tidy and considerate. I’m looking to move in with like minded people, who’d enjoy having dinner or a glass of wine with me - I hardly ever say no to a glass of wine. Like anyone, I like personal space sometimes and I am completely respectful of that with housemates. Sometimes, after a long day at work, all I want to do is lounge and watch trashy TV (Kardashians, Bachelor, Married at First Sight etc). Please send me a message if you’re interested in teaming up or have a room for rent. Ideally, I’m looking for something within walking distance to St Leonards or to a train station.
I'm a single professional from Canada bitten by the travel bug and am in Australia on a working holiday visa for the first-leg of my potentially years long travel and soul search. I work remotely from home in the evenings, and, soon, in-office during the day. I am a clean, tidy, conscientious, and courteous individual with a fabulous sense of humour. I generally keep to myself but like to interact over a glass of wine and wax philosophical with my house mates. I'm not a partier and occupy myself with living enriching experiencing, getting active, and improving my health and well-being.
I am looking for a room to rent preferably fully furnished room with utilities if possible and near the train station. I work full time in a IT industry. By the way, I love music, enjoy baking, swimming, walking / hiking / running / zumba and movies.
Easygoing, respectful, well travelled, friendly, trustworthy, responsible, tidy, non-smoking, Brazilian-Dutch professional, senior procurement consultant. I don't know how to cook, except boiling eggs and sweet potatoes. So most of the time eating out. I also enjoy learning new things, especially different cultures, technology and photography. I like to see my friends and going out for a drink every now and then but always considered home as home and not a party place. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Denis
Sean is a practice manager for a Physio and Blake has a management in retail. We are both very clean, we are very social and down to do anything inclusive. We are looking for a nice room to move into with plenty of room and ideally our own bathroom.
