I'm a responsible guy, really easy-going, respectful of other people's space and expecting the same in return. Of course we can have talks and share some meals and experiences. I love listening to music (different genres), I play a little bit guitar and recently I bought an ukulele to try something new 😉. I like movies (from Hollywood mainly, so I make references to Oscars nominees or winners every time I can), I love football (soccer), play basketball (at least I try to) and recently I bought a bike so I hope to use it a lot. Also I'm taking my first steps into photography. I'd like to share and learn about all these topics in Melbourne, and of course if you want to learn some words in Spanish I can teach you 'mi amigo'. I'm gonna stay in Melbourne for at least one more year and I'm interested in finding a private room, so let me know what you think. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Cheers!!
Hi I'm Jade, I'm 25 from New Zealand. I previously lived in Melbourne for a couple of years before moving to London for just over two years. I have now returned to NZ and am ready to get back into Melbourne life! I will be back in Melb on September 27th. I work in hospitality, usually cafes, so my hours aren't too crazy. In my spare time I like to hang out with friends, try out new bars and restaurants, see what events are on in the city or just chill at home. I'm a very easy going person who loves a clean house and respectful housemates. During my time in London I ended up living with over 20 different housemates so I'm very understanding of others and can get on with pretty much anyone!
I'm a 29 year old, Exercise Physiologist working full time in Hawthorn. I play footy for Box Hill Hawks. **Looking for a house that doesn’t mind a BBQ during summer, is relatively clean and is considerate of other people** About me: Easy going Reliable Fun Interests - pretty stock standard - Music, (anything from Missy Higgins to Fetty Wap to Daft Punk), parties, tv shows (How I Met Your Mother, The Office), beaches, dogs etc etc
I've recently moved to Melbourne from Brisbane as I was wanting a change of scenery and lifestyle. My moving dates are quite flexible as I'm staying with family members here in Melbourne until I find the right home! I'm a Business and Media and Communications student studying at Swinburne. I work two part time jobs including one in retail where I have a permanent part time position, so I'll always have a steady income and be fine to pay my rent on time. My other job is in hospitality so I wont be at home every night of the week as I'll sometimes be working evenings. In my spare time I love trying out new restaurants, going to gigs and seeing live music. I would really love a house that is social where every once in a while we might all do dinner together at home and have wine or two! However I do love my own space at times and will always be respectful of yours. LGBTQ friendly, non-smoker, and not a party person generally but I'm up for a small gathering when I'm not studying. I've been told I can be a bit OCD when it comes to cleaning, but that just means that the bathroom and kitchen will never be messy when I'm living in your house!
I am an IT professional working full time, Monday through to Friday. On the weekends I will either stay in and relax or hang out with my friends outside. I mostly keep to myself, but I don't mind the occasional chat or get together. I am clean and tidy and I respect others' personal space and privacy. If you want to know more about me, feel free to ask.
Hello, I am Karan, international student pursuing Masters from Australian Polytechnic in the city. I have been literally not very old living in Melbourne and looking for a share house with people aged between 21-35 years old. I'm 27 though. I moved from Adelaide and been working their part time and studying MIB (Masters in International Business). I find myself as a nice and chatty personality looking for great housemates who sometimes don't mind having a get together, BBQ etc I am a non smoker and drink very often if mood is okay! Right now staying at a share house with 2 other girls in western suburbs. Have to give 2 weeks notice before I get another. I'm a pretty easy going/chilled out person who enjoys watching/playing football (or soccer as i'm told its called) and going to the gym. I'm also always in the mood for watching a film or two. I have got 1 car on me and i don't mind parking it on the side of the road or street. I would love to have a house which has got 2 toilets at least and well built. I work full time with uber and i have my own transport business here in Melbourne. I don't mind sharing my food with others, i cook food, but mostly go outside to eat. I go to DOHERTY'S GYM and try to eat clean a bit. Got universities every Wednesday so need to come and go from UNI quick so i'm looking a close by area to the city I need a place where I can park my car on street with no parking restrictions. Hope you guys find me a great house mate
Hiya, My lease is about to come to an end so I'm looking forward to finding somewhere new in Melbourne to call my own. I'm currently a student at Swinburne University as well as working casually. I will keep mostly to myself throughout the day for uni/work but will always be up for a chat/dinner/TV binge in the evening. I'm pretty laid back and love to have a good laugh but really appreciate a clean area to live in. As I am new to Melbourne this year, I would love to have a housemate who is willing to show me around Melbourne and is interested in going out and socialising occasionally. I'm not a big alcohol drinker (but I'll gladly share one every now and again)or a smoker. I'm looking for someone is happy, tidy and respectful and wanting a friend rather than just someone to live with. Hope to hear from you soon, Meg PS. I am also totally up for teaming up with someone to find ourselves a new place to rent :D
I am a 42-year-old engineer who has returned to Australia after 10 years. Trying to set up for my family for their smooth arrival and transition. Looking for a few months of stay until they arrive. I'm a no-fuss individual who love pets (have two cats back home) looking for a warm and peaceful place.
Here is Amit Kumar, originally from Delhi (India), worked in Canada, UK, and Singapore, and now I am docking myself to Melbourne with a plan to settle here. On the professional front, I have been working with a leading consulting firm as an architect, manager, and innovator. On the personal front, I am into trekking, meditation, yoga, and spirituality. I am a Hindu, but I feel I am more belong to humanity, always try to do something for people, animals, and nature. My passion is to spread smiles on everyone's face, guide people on how to live this human life God has gifted us. With a social and jolly in nature, I live life to its fullest. It will be really a fun to live with me. My work is near to Melbourne Town Hall. I am currently looking for an accommodation which offers an easy commute to my work. The initial stay will be for three months, but if the place looks decent to me, I will be happy to extend further.
Hey, I'm a retail professional and I'm a Sri Lankan. I like to keep my dwelling clean and tidy (not OCD). I enjoy time with my family in Central Victoria and could be away during weekends. If I'm around, I love to watch rugby, footy, have a cold one or a glass of wine. Love driving on the open roads. Enjoy company of others and learning about new cultures and people. I love cooking from different cuisines (I try). I was in Melbourne but moved to Sydney for work. Now, I'm looking forward to move from Sydney to Melbourne by end of the month. I'm happy to get a lease for a two bedroom apartment in Richmond (I saw few in front of Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre) or Hawthorn for about $ 500 to 600. Will split the rent and bills in half. I'm easy to deal with and helpful. Get hold of me.
Hey guys, I'm Mitchell. I've lived in a rural town my whole life so I'm long overdue for a change of scenery. Looking to make the move Mid November. I consider myself to be a pretty nice guy, I value my friends and I'm happy to go out of my way to help somebody out (if you're upset, I'll probably just quote Simpsons until you smile). When I am at home you will find me reading a book, gaming, cruising through Netflix, or listening to podcasts. I consider myself to be a pop culture fiend, so if you like Game of Thrones, Rick and Morty, or anything inbetween throw me a bone. I like to keep quite active and I regularly go to the gym. I do play around with the guitar a little bit aswell, so if you are a muso and want to jam that would be lovely too. Ideally, I would love to live with 2 or 3 other people to expand my social circle (I'm leaving all my friends behind ):) I do have a couple bits of furniture if they are needed (table and chairs, lounge, tv, ps4) If you think I'll fall in with your bunch, please consider me.
Hey guys, My name is Jai and I am a 26-year-old Administration worker at a Law Firm in the city! I currently reside in Glen Iris at the moment. Unfortunately our lease ends on October 1st, so I am eagerly looking for a new place to live. About me: I am into sports, yes. I am not your 4 & 20 style of fan screaming "CARN THE PIES!", so don't worry. I love my basketball and watch an AFL game or two every so often. I am a huge movie buff and love watching my tv shows on repeat throughout the week. I play basketball twice a night during the week and on weekends I spend most of my time with my girlfriend, Vicky. She resides 90min east of Melbourne at the moment so I only see her weekends, but sometimes I go to her. I feel it's best to relay that information to give you a heads up that she would visit most weekends (we're rarely home, and if we are we are in my room watching movies) I am very respectful to my other housemates and I am a self-titled clean freak! so mess won't be an issue! I could go on but I feel we won't have much to talk about in the future...so hope you liked what you read and just shoot us a message! Regards, Jai
Hey there, I'm Melvin, a 31y/o guy who just happens to be friendly and easy-going. Moved over to Melbourne just over a year ago from Perth. Absolutely love it here! I work in the health industry and tend to maintain a fit an active life-style e.g playing soccer x2 a week and going jogging most mornings. . Would say I like to respect people and expect the same in return. Like to keep things neat and tidy around me so that's one less thing for you to worry about. Always open to the occasional chat and hang-out if my other life commitments aren't in the way. Overall, I think I'm a great guy. You'll probably just have to find that out for yourself!
I'm pretty clean and tidy but not that much. I like listening to soft music, Jazz and singing. I am a post graduate student in Swinburne and doing some part time online work that requires me to access internet. Looking for a great place to rest at the end of the day with good access to university and having great internet access is very helpful. I am mostly a quiet person with friendly demeanor and I like to cook on weekends and doing some heating during weekdays. Looking forward to find great place and community.
