I’m Yvette and I’m 27. I’ve just moved from Brisbane to Melbourne for work. I’m working in the funeral industry and my schedule will be 12 hr shifts, 7 days on, 7 days off. Night shift every 10 weeks and I’ll likely be flying home to Brisbane every 2-3 months on my week off as well. On my weeks off I’ll likely be keeping myself busy, running errands, exploring, socialising, going to shows, etc. I’m pretty quiet; I like to keep busy so I’m not around a lot, and when I am, I like to use my time at home to unwind and relax. I like keeping things clean and tidy. However I don’t believe in rosters for chores. We’re all adults and if something is noticeably dirty, you should just clean it because you care about your home. I’m pretty deligent when it come to managing my finances so paying rent/bills on time is never an issue. I also have a cat, her name is Vengeance. She is such a sweet girl. She’s gorgeous and very needy. Despite her name, she’s extremely friendly and she’s a very chill cat. I would prefer she be the only cat in the household, but I would be open to her meeting other cats first and see how they get along. Ultimately, she’s my best pal and I want her to be happy and comfortable in our new home. I’m ideally looking to share with one other person in a place that has 3 bedrooms. I feel as though having a third bedroom as a storage room/guest room/study/whatever will make the place seem less cramped. It’s not completely necessary though. My main requirement is that the place I’ll be living in must have a bath. Extremely important. I was living alone in Brisbane so I have a lot of furniture/appliances to contribute to the place. I have a fridge, washing machine, dryer, portable air con, heater, vacuum cleaner, iron etc, sewing machine/overlocker, lounge suite, coffee table, bookshelves, a telephone chair? (Idk why. Impulse antique purchase but it’s pretty), a cabinet, probably too many clothing racks, standard kitchen stuff (toaster, kettle, blender, juicer, food processor, microwave, plus cookware, glassware, crockery, utensils, etc). I can store/sell/donate things that aren’t needed.
I am currently a first year student at Melbourne Uni doing a Bachelor of Science, majoring in maths and IT. I am a mostly quiet person, though I never shy away from talking and getting to know people. I take pride in keeping organised and in keeping my room clean too. Other than that, most of the time I will probably be studying, but I do have hobbies that I balance it out with such as bike riding, going to see the movies or just catching up with friends :).
My name is Andreas, I am 22 currently studying Physics at Swinburne. Easy to get along with, play soccer, love the gym, enjoy watching sports, playing video games, clean and tidy and not a hermit but can definitely respect private space as I have lived with other people before. I own a TV, fridge, washing machine, couch etc. My only requirements is a room big enough to fit my queen and desk and a place to park my car :) If I haven't said something here and you're not sure please don't hesitate to message me and I'll get back to you ASAP! :)
I am an international student from Singapore doing the Bachelor in Aviation and Piloting in Swinburne Uni Of Tech. Would love to find some really amazing and cool housemates to live with. I am generally a neat and tidy person. Loves to go on hikes and exercise. Very sociable friendly and easy-going.
Hi there! :) My name is Friederike and I'm a 25-year old literature student from Germany, moving to Melbourne to study Creative Writing at Deakin University! :) I love travelling and getting to know other countries: I've lived and worked as a barista in Auckland, New Zealand for a year after finishing school and also did a work internship in Reykjavík, Iceland last year. Apart from that, I travel and explore the world around me as much as I possibly can! My passions include yoga, all things creative, great coffee, books, vegetarian cooking and baking, listening to and making music (mostly metal and (punk) rock but I'm open-minded!), socialising in general as well as enjoying fresh air and the ocean. :) Concerning living with me, I love a good mix between socialising as flatmates and privacy. I'm quite ambitious about my studies so I need my daily alone-and-quiet time - but at the same time, I enjoy cooking together/simultaneously and spending time together as flatmates! It's the cosiest thing ever, right? I also like being out and about during my free time and I'm not a "couch potato". When it comes to tidying and cleaning, a clean kitchen and bathroom are an absolute must for me. If you can imagine living with me, drop me a message! I'm looking forward to getting to know you. :) ... oh and one last note: my preferred length of stay is in fact roughly 5 months but this website doesn't offer this option. :D
Moving from Sydney to Melbourne! I am sociable and friendly but understand the need to respect space. Always down for a chat or to chill! I'm clean and courteous to the needs of others :) you won't have to worry about late payments at all! I LOVE travelling, adventures and the outdoors. In my spare time i like to keep fit and just chill :) Netflix and food are a pretty good combo 🙄
Hello! My Ragdoll cat and I are looking for a place to call home. I am currently undertaking a Master of Psychology and am looking for a place close to the campus in Hawthorne East. I am a morning loving, tea drinking, power lifting, book nerd. My fluffy furbaby is my shadow and most of my spare time is spent with her (cat lady in the making). She loves pats from everyone, naps in the sun and exploring the world around her. I am looking to live with other likeminded people who strive to make a house a home.
Hi! My name is Miranda. I'm a 26 year old Orthoptist who has recently started a new job at the Cabrini Hospital in Malvern. I've lived in lots of sharehouses and am happy to have a chat and share a meal or drink with housemates but also very happy doing my own thing. I like to get out of the house a fair bit for running, yoga, hikes, and exploring Melbourne.. hence perfect housemate! I'm also a vegetarian but don't mind if you arent. :)
I am a full time worker in my 20s looking for similar people to share with! I have lived in a number of fantastic share houses before so I am definitely house trained and consider myself easy to live with. I'm after for a social house, but not a party house. Look forward to hearing from you!
I am an ED nurse by profession, so live a life controled by shift work. Enjoy going to cafes, movies, keep fit at the gym, passionate about travelling and meeting new people. I enjoy the company of others but equally happy on my own. Easy to get along with and grounded. Have a positive outlook and enjoy life. I’m very respectful of other people and believe that you should treat others the way you wish to be treated yourself. A flatmate/s who likes to hang out and watch a movie and share a glass of wine but someone who is not in your face. Looking for a place to call Home for Upto 6months before I head off to the UK.
Hey, I'm Alex, a third year exchange student looking for accommodation in Melbourne from Mid-February to the end of June, Studying Literature. I'm pretty chill, quite neat and don't mind pitching in with the washing up at all. I enjoy reading thick books, exploring new places, drinking good coffee and watching terrible films. Being a Pomey, I'm probably going to burn a lot and complain about the weather, but I make up for it with some delicious cooking skills and taking banter like a champ. Aside from calls to my girlfriend, I'm none too noisy either, although I do occasionally sing in the shower. If you have a place close to the University of Melbourne, or just a tram line that can get me there, send me message and I'll be in contact ASAP. Hope to hear from you soon, Alex

Danielle and I have lived with lots of other people before and always being complimented on how easy we are to live with. We have done many housesits before so really know how to look after a place; very clean, tidy and respectable (we can provide references). We are ideally looking for a place to stay with a maximum of 2 other people, for six months at first with the possibility to extend. We love the sports and the outdoors, with both of us working in this sector. We are keen to go out and explore but equally enjoy a social drink over a board game. Feel free to give us a message, text or call.
I am a second year psychology student from the Gold Coast (but in Melbourne since 2016). I am neat and responsible, thanks to my big family. I usually find ways to occupy myself and and be productive but I also love to just relax and read fantasy or sci-fi, or marathon 'Doctor Who' for a while. I'm a good cook and will probably offer to share new recipes but they will be vegetarian :) Enjoy having fun conversations (who doesn't? haha) but also need my alone time to re-charge :D
I am an animal lover, vegetarian and looking for a relaxed, comfy and clean place to live. I am currently finishing cert III in childcare and working at a cattery, a cafe and dog walking! I am clean and always pay my bills on time. I am after a housemate/housemates who respect privacy as do I, are clean, friendly and who are up for a chat once in a while! In my spare time I love to watch Netflix, go to galleries, go on coffee dates with friends, go on day trips and I also love doing makeup and dressing up! My ideal place would be a room that is at least 3X4m and situated near the 75 tram and close to the city. I am flexible with stay length! 😊😊😊😊😊
I am an international student at RMIT University, pursuing my Masters In Business Information Technology.I also work part-time at a restaurant to gain some experience along with my studies.I am 26 years old. I prefer to stay clean and enjoy quiet time most of the days in a week. I am mostly consumed with my college assignments.I prefer to have a chat when I am free.
Hiya, I'm currently a student at Swinburne University as well as working casually. I will keep mostly to myself throughout the day for uni/work but will always be up for a chat/dinner/TV binge in the evening. I'm pretty laid back and love to have a good laugh but really appreciate a clean area to live in. I'm not a big alcohol drinker (but I'll gladly share one every now and again) or a smoker. I'm looking for someone is happy, tidy and respectful and wanting a friend rather than just someone to live with. Hope to hear from you soon, Meg PS. I am also totally up for teaming up with someone to find ourselves a new place to rent :D
Hey! I'm Adam, a new PhD student in astronomy at Swinburne and I'll be moving to Melbourne from Sydney in January. I'm pretty laid back and easy going. If you are interested in talking about stars and space stuff I am totally your guy. I do like chatting, maybe sharing a movie with my house mates but I do like my down time after a day of work. I often like going out with my friends on weekends and sometimes the occasional dinner party often over a bottle of wine. In my spare time I like to play video games, tabletop/ board games, reading, binge watching something on Netflix and going for runs/exercise. I like to travel which is one benefit of being an astronomer. :)
Hey, I'm a pretty down to earth guy working in I.T. Generally a pretty quiet personality but I like having a laugh when I can. Very tidy in shared spaces, but not always my own room. I like gardenin', chilling out with a beer or some red wine and... yeah, otherwise I'm probably just skewing around on the computer.
Hi my name is Patrick. I'm looking for a long-term share-house in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I work full time in Retail and don't mind a place with people who prefer their own space or people who are more social. I'm into music and love collecting records and going to gigs/festivals around Melbourne. I enjoy a good TV show and movie binge but also enjoy going out with friends and entertaining at home. Hoping for a comfortable home with friendly like-minded people!
