Hi, I'm from Thailand but I can speak fluent English. I lived in Brisbane before (for 4 years) and now just move back in. I have friends and family that I can fully rely on but I just want to be independent. I'm flexible and not a very loud person. I don't smoke. I can drink but not as much (I have low alcohol tolerance and developing allergies, so I usually don't drink more than 2 glasses) I think I'm pretty easy going and at the same time confronting. So, if there's anything on my mind, I would most likely to sort it out maturely. And vice versa, I will take comments and find our middle. For fun, I usually read, watch youtube, workout, or just go out to have a walk. I do painting sometimes but that hobby comes and go.
My name is Timo and I am a student from Germany who graduated from Griffith University here in Brisbane at about the beginning of March. It is important to me to find a nice apartment where I feel comfortable and where I find some new friends with whom I can live together and spend a nice time here. I´m a sociable, uncomplicated person who attaches importance to the fact that we undertake joint activities together. Therefore I am open to many things, for example cooking together, going out for dinner (food is simply my passion:)), an evening watching movies, go to Sports (i´m playing soccer at home and i´m sometimes going to the gym) or even going out for a night in the city. On the other hand, I am someone who also needs time for myself, especially when exams take place at the university. However, it should not be a shared flat just for Purpose. I also attach importance to cleanliness and order and that should be important for my flatmates, too.
I‘m a female student of UQ in tourism, hotel and event management. I’m a easy going flatmate as my study keeps me busy most of the time. And I'm a clean and tidy person who can't stand mess. In my spare time, I love cooking, trying various new food, gardening and traveling. I'm not a partier, but welcome if you invite friends over in holidays or on weekends.
Hi, I am a 23 year old English and Music teacher working on the South Side full time. I'm ideally looking to move in with people who are keen to socialise over coffee or wine and watch the odd series/film together. My general interests and hobbies include hiking, gym, reading, and going out for an uncoordinated attempt at dancing. I'm employed full time so won't be throwing any loud mid-week parties, I keep places tidy, and I pay rent on time. Let me know if you think I would be a good fit and we can sort something out :)
Work and study IT. Work 9-5 most days while studying at Griffith part time. Looking to rent a place. I'm mindful of people around me and I can be as quiet or chatty as you like. I prefer staying home than going out. Shoot me a message you want to team up and find a place :)

I keep myself busy by going on hiking trips, earning extra money, reading, cooking, yoga, TV and being out and about when I can. I'm also keen on finding a gym bro I enjoy having a laugh with my roommates but I am also respectful of peoples privacy and quite time also i'm great when it comes to keeping the place clean and ill never leave dishes soaking for days on end. If you think we can get along and share some fun times shoot me a message
Hey! A little about me... I'm in my 3rd year of a psychology degree at Griffith Uni (Mt Gravatt campus). I'll be starting honours next year which I'm pretty excited about! I'm looking for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing home where I can recharge and chill. I'm a friendly person with a good sense of humour who enjoys a chat and a laugh, but I usually like to quietly do my own thing when I'm at home. I tend to spend lots of time in my room studying! (Super exciting, I know!) For fun, I perform improvised theatre which I've been doing for a year. I'm a non-smoker and would prefer to live with other non-smokers. I'm also allergic to cats, so I sadly have to avoid homes with cats in them. :( I'm a respectful, considerate, and reliable person who always pays the rent/bills on time and tidies up after myself.
I am.an easy going person. I work 5 days a work so very busy. I have 2 kids that live with my ex. They visit every once in a while. I am also studying part BSc Environment and Sustainability. I was born in Zimbabwe but have been living here for 11yrs.
Doing my Masters at Griffith University and working full time so chances are I will be away for 3 days. When I'm not however, I like to cook, read, and practice piano which I recently started and trying to teach myself. I don't smoke, or drink often. I'm pretty neat person and like to be organized, and prefer to maintain the house I live in accordingly. I keep it to myself generally, but always up for a chat and night out, to know the city and people in it more.
Hi, I am Niveda a recent graduate looking for a studio or two bhk unit. I am a relaxed and flexible person.. sinc I am working full time on a casual basis looking for a unit for my own. I work both morning and night shifts and schedule is pretty tight. Therefore, I am looking for privacy when I am at home. Also, I would like to share with another person (2bhk) preferably a female. Do message if you have any units available or willing to team up. P.S looking to move by November first week.
Hi there! I'm a 2017 highschool graduate from Cairns and moved to Brisbane 5 months ago to study at Griffith University :) I am currently looking for a new place to live! :) I love sport and I absolutely love my friends and family! I often like to go out and explore different areas and I'm not afraid to experience and learn new and different things! I also love meeting new people and am always up for a chat! I do love my friends and like to be out-and-about and social on the off occasion, but you will most likely find me studying, reading a book or watching a movie - I do love my downtime. I am a respectable, quiet person who generally keeps to themselves but still enjoys interacting with different people. I like to keep myself presentable (most of the time except for when I wake up and look like a zombie) as well as keeping the areas around me clean. I am an extremely excitable person and have an overall bubbly personality but I also know boundaries and when to be respectable :) I love eating watermelon and am a full-time dog patter and animal lover!
Hiya, Looking for somewhere to stay when I return from Melbourne in February 2019. I'm completing a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences (no - I am not psychoanalysing you haha) at UQ and 2019 will be my honours year. Looking at going travelling January 2020 so a 12 month lease is preferable. I'm quiet and generally either at work or university. Between work, uni, volunteering, committees, work experience, conferences etc. I tend to not spend that much time at home. However when I do, and while I love having a chat, I do like my privacy and down time as its pretty rare. Have lived independently since I was 14 and have an abundance of references if needed. Clean and easy going - love animals and kids (but don't have any). Don't mind living with smokers etc. as long as it is kept outside. My ideal space would be a little studio/granny flat/large room with ensuite. The closer to St Lucia the better, however anywhere pretty much within 20 minutes is great! Would travel further for the perfect place. I do have a car but off street parking is fine. If there is anything else you want to know, just let me know. More than happy to have a chat and looking forward to hearing from you!
I'm looking for a self contained grannyflat or studio in the suburbs that I have listed. I'm simply a nice person. I am not a wild party person so you be sure there will be no issue with neighbors. I'm out most of the time as I'm a busy person. Please contact me if you have a self contained grannyflat or studio for me to rent (no share house!). Anytime around November is when I'm looking to move in
We are both easy going, quiet, tidy and keep to ourselves
Hi, I'm a 34 year old Canadian moving to Brisbane to study at TAFE. Although my studies start in February I'm hoping to move around mid December or early January. I'm a social person, with a diverse range of interests. I'm always mindful of the others I'm living with and don't make much noise in the house. I'm very tidy and will pitch in around the house to make sure it is clean. I plan on working part time during my studies, but also receive a pension from the Canadian government, so you can be assured rent will be paid on time, every time. My son lives in Noosa, so I will be gone most weekends to visit him. If I find a place that allows him to stay overnight on occasion that would be awesome, but if not I have other arrangements in place.
Hi we are looking for a new place as our current place has become unavailable for a new lease and our flat mates are moving interstate. Ideally we need our own bathroom and a large room to live and sleep in. I have a small well trained dog that is never left at home alone. My partner is from Thailand and I am Australian. I am a self employed landscaper and I spend most of my time working. Sometimes I have to work from home so a room big enough for a desk is desirable. I am well educated and I can’t live with people who regularly drink alcohol or use drugs. Sometimes I have a few beers but not often. I’d like to live with people who are well educated and see things how it is. Must have a sense of humour. Must have a job and no pathetic money problems. (I don’t want to live with people that have to steal other people’s food or steal minor stuff to hok on eBay etc.) My girlfriend can cook excellent Thai food and we will share when we can. I have land and a container from which I store all my tools and work materials. I also have all my “other” stuff in a container at storage facility. Therefore I travel light, ie I only need to bring minimal things to the room. (Bed, desk, clothes, gas Weber (optional), esky, bar fridge (optional) , girlfriend, dog and kitchen sink.) I have a classic car which I could store at my land but a secure shed/garage would be ideal. I need a secure place (outdoor is ok) to park my Ute as it usually has loose tools in the tray. Sometimes I bring my trailer home so room to park and turn around with a trailer would be convienient. I need flexibility to be able to move out anytime, no contracts or hefty deposits. I try to pay rent well in advance. I need this flexibility because I don’t want to move in to a place and then find there is drug/alcohol problems or undesirable visitors or other problems and then loose the deposit because I move out in a short time. I have a small well trained dog that comes to work with me during the week and often stays at my mother’s house on weekends. A room with outdoor access would be good. We return to Thailand several times per year. So Every few months we are gone for a month. I don’t steal or lie, I don’t have undesirable visitors. I pay rent ahead or on time.
Hi! My name is MIchael! I'm a 23 year old full time and hard working person. I enjoy going out for a meal, having a chat, movies and gaming. During the week I'm usually pretty busy with work, and on my days off I enjoy relaxing. I am clean, tidy up after myself, pay bills on time, easy to get along with and am always up for having a chat, but also respect your privacy
Hi, I'm Karina :) I work full time at the rspca (monday to friday). I'm very tidy and respectful of everyone's space. I have a happy rescue dog Willow who can be unsure of new people at first but once she is comfortable with you she is extremely social! I'm wanting to live with people that would be happy to have her around as a part of the family :). She stays outside when no one is home but is used to being allowed in doors to relax when people are around / sleeps inside with me. I'm either at the beach surfing, adventuring with my dog / friends or relaxing at home. As i do work 8+ hours a day I am looking for a home that has grass/ a yard for willow to relax in. I also go away on weekends sometimes for trips in my van. I'm friendly and easy going, always up for a laugh and a wine/beer. I'm not the greatest cook but am definitely trying to learn :) I need full fencing for willow but she has lived with other dogs so doesn't need to be on her own. Thanks!
Hey, My name's James, I'm a 27 year old self-employed creative professional. I'm super low key and work as a professional filmmaker and photographer which sometimes sends me out of town for a few weeks or more. I don't drink, but enjoy hanging out and socialising, but also really value my privacy and respect that of others. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, reading, playing video games and training in martial arts. I'm neat, tidy and considerate of others. I also have several appliances including a fridge, washing machine and tv that I'm able to bring to the new place if required.
I am an international student studying Finance and International Business at Griffith University Nathan Campus also working part-time. I am looking to move out of my current residence as it is too congested ATM. I am very flexible and laid back, can adjust to any environment and crowd.
Hi I am from hong kong and currently studying chemistry at qut. I am a friendly and sporty person and always looking for new friends. I am also a good cook, will be happy to share some delicious cuisine with you :P
I am sociable and out-going personally. I'd like to live home as home, but sometimes enjoy party. Working in a city as a full time, and often come home late due to heavy load of work... will be a quite flatmate as i come home late and go out early. but i do enjoy having a chat and make a friend if possible!
Nearly everyone feels they can be themselves around me. So imagine this, your new flatmate has a accepting, well mannered and tidy presence, everyday your greeted with a smile and energetic chat, the common areas are clean and tidy. There's just this welcoming ease about him. Suddenly there's an issue, however you quickly find how open and fair minded he is, the heated tension disappears quickly and he apologises quickly as he has shown he wants to understand what he's done wrong. He doesn't get upset or sassy but listens to you with his full attention. You carry on as amicable adults and start laughing away again as if there wasn't really an issue to begin with. My three core values: Authenticity, Spirituality (self-aware) and Inquisitive. I'm on the peaceful side, but if I'm feeling the call to drink Red then be prepared for all sorts of weird and wonderful conversations......sometimes there is no line with me so be prepared for unfiltered sentences at your own peril (but mostly delight and for your humour). Prefer Female flatmates and/or gay/gay accepting Men.
I’m a vegan straight edge tattooer, so I’m quiet and usually keep to myself, but I’m easy to talk to and I get along with everyone. I do have a 3 year old beautiful Staffy, so I’m in need of a nice yard with secure fencing. She is hesitant with other dogs, so a yard on her own would be preferable to avoid any scraps.
Hi. I am an international student (fulltime) I am looking for a room (with ensuite) to stay for 5 weeks. I will be going to Brisbane city 5 days a week, so I would prefer a place near city (20~30 mins (max) by bus). *I don't have a car, so a bus stop or a train station near home is a must. I prefer a newly built modern unit/townhouse/ apartment or a studio. I am clean & tidy. Always clean up after use. Very quiet. Normally study in my room or in the library. I don't drink alcohol. I am friendly and i respect others privacy very much. I am also very mindful when using electricy & gas even if all bills are included. *My budget is roughly $200 but it is negotiable. I will be staying 4 night and will be away most of the other days. If you have a room to share feel free to contact me. Thank you.
Hi I'm Daniel, a Taiwanese student who study in Aviation Australia. I'm looking for a place where it is close to any bus stop of bus 590. I'm easy to get with and like to watch Netflix and Youtube on my spare time.
I'm clean, I like to cook, I enjoy socialising and have a mild obsession with music. I recently moved back from the UK (hence why I'm looking for a place). By day I work as a developer of sorts in the city, its a job that is both massively frustrating and extremely enjoyable. Double edged sword and all that. By night I work on various start ups (not my own). My previous share house experience includes 3 years in Rochedale South, with two dogs and Auchenflower for 2 years. When I'm not working, I enjoy working on cars, exploring, going to the gym and socialising with friends. I also quite like making cocktails and enjoy the odd beer :)
Hi I'm Ivy. I'm 26 Years old and work in Warehousing Mon-Sunday rotating shifts. My girlfriend is also on a rotating roster aswell! We're both very active and highly involved in our sports, most days/nights when we're not working, we're training, at the gym or doing our own thing. We've represented Queensland these last few years in Rugby 15s/7s and also Australia. We're very respectable, tidy, easy going and love to have a laugh! Looking for a spacious clean room preferably an ensuite.
I am from Far North Queensland & have been on a one year gap year where I have been working full time. I will be a full time Uni student at the Griffith, Mount Gravatt campus where I will be studying a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice. I enjoy refereeing Touch Football and hope to start refereeing at the local Brisbane Metro Touch Comp.
Full time kindy teacher. I'm a tidy Kiwi who has been living in Brisbane for a year. I enjoy making new friends, and my own space to wind down after a hard days work. I like coffee, music, writing and singing too. I'm pretty easy to get along with and open to new and exciting experiences.
I came from Brazil to learn English so I would like to live with people who speak English and like to talk. I like to meet new people, drink some beers or wine, hang out, parties, volley. I prefer to live with men because of the freedom you have.
