Hi there, I'm Liza and I'm looking for a short or long-term rental. I'm 24 y.o. and moving from South Africa to do a post grad study in physio at the University of Canberra. I enjoy the outdoors, I'm a non-smoker and I'm pretty easy going. In my spare time I enjoy cycling and rowing so might be up early in the mornings. Looking to find a place with chilled room mates, close to uni and general positive vibes.
Seeking a large room, in a warm, well insulated(!), friendly house in Canberra! Also interested in teaming up with others to find a nice place. I'm an experienced house-sharer, work full time, considerate of others, clean, respectful, social / independent. I'm a creative type, enjoy a good conversation, playing guitar, photography / videography, and getting out into nature for a decent walk. Currently in a one bedroom apartment paying a silly amount of rent on my own. Want to reduce my living costs, and join some other likeminded folk in a warm, comfortable, spacious place that's homely. Open to teaming up with a few others and getting a place, if the personalities all work. What i need is a large unfurnished room to fit my queen sized bed, shelving and large desk, or a seperate area / room / study for shelving / desk. Also have a car, so will need a space to park that. Have a small bunch of furniture - queen sized bed, couch x2, fridge, microwave, bookshelves, 46" TV, stereo, bookshelves, etc... can be used if needed, otherwise will be put into storage / sold. If you think we'd be a good fit get in touch! Anthony.
Quiet part-time stay at home worker with two small shih-tzu cross dogs looking for suitable long-term accommodation anywhere in the Greater CBR area. Conscientious, considerate of others, and respectful of privacy. Social as required, and always clean and tidy. References are available on request.
Hi, my name is Aya and I am a first year medical student at the University of Canberra. I am outgoing, openminded, clean and easy to get along with. I am looking to share a house with flatmates who are likeminded. I am respectful of others privacy and I would love to have a chat and socialise in my free time. I will spend most of my time studying at uni and working part-time. I am actively looking to either find a flatmate and search ourselves for an apartment or move in to an already established apartment with flatmates. Feel free to contact me. :)
Hi Peps, I'm an International student from Taiwan who will be studying Masters at UC, my background is IT. I am a private person when studying or coding, but otherwise I am very sociable and easy-going. I like to read and marathoning shows usually, but please don't count me out of outdoor activities such as bushwalking and stuff.
Moving to Canberra for an APS job in STEM. I'm pretty laid back but still prefer things around the house to be neat and tidy. Would be great to find another young professional (guy or girl) who also enjoys the occasional chat or drink but also respects having quiet downtime.
Actor, Video Games Developer, Lived in India, Scotland and Kuwait. University of Canberra student (Starting August 2018) Love Basketball, Football and Cricket. Can cook Indian food and a mean Pasta! Fairly clean and cool with pretty much anything. No allergies (in case anyone wants to know).
Hi I'm Stuart, 27 professional (non-government). I'd say I'm considerate and pretty easy to get along with. I'm clean and like to chef, good with animals, and pretty open and respectful. Will chat for hours if it's not just small talk. After work I usually like to watch a movie or play console games, on weekends I'm generally doing something. I choose Aranda, Cook, Macquarie and O'Connor from the list, but I'd be happy with elsewhere if it's a good place and not too far from central Canberra (e.g. Griffith, Turner, Curtin, Forrest, etc). Happy to chat - send me a message!
Hi, I'm Sophie, from Maldives. Currently a full-time student at UC. I'm very neat and easy going. Looking for a nice place to stay for my 2nd semester, not too far from UC. Please feel free to inbox me if you have any queries.
Hi, at the end of my current lease lease (October) I will be looking to move into a new place with two close friends. If that doesn’t work out, I am still interested to find out what rooms are available in sharehouses/team ups. I am a 25yo studying a Bachelor of Pharmacy at UC, and work part time as a pharmacy assistant. In my spare time I am a keen traveller. I am a reliable and considerate person who likes to keep things clean and tidy, and I have an excellent rental history. The other girls are in their final year/s of their university degrees and share similar values to me. Ideally we would like to live within walking distance of University of Canberra or have easy access to frequent bus services to the Bruce/Belconnen area.
Brad (22), Robbie (21) and Daniel (21) are all long time friends from the small country town of Batemans Bay. They attended the same school from grade three onwards and continued their friendship through their transition into university. Bradley Bishop is well known for his sporting abilities and his outgoing nature. Currently studying Building Design at CIT, and is looking to transition into architecture at university next year. He enjoys competitive gaming, gym and visiting home during his time off. Robbie Hogg was the school captain of St Peters Anglican College in 2015, and is a well mannered and hard working individual. He is currently studying Physio at UC. He plays rugby but is versed in many sports, and is absolutely terrible at video games. Last but not least, Daniel Volf recently switched from his Uni degree to pursue a full-time management traineeship for Coles in 2018. Daniel is a highly motivated and polite man who enjoys watching his beloved Red V Dragons win NRL games and going back to his coastal town of Moruya to visit family and his 3 dogs.
Hey I'm Toby, third year student at ANU. I'm looking for a place to live until summer and flexible with dates. From Melbourne, I work in a kitchen on-campus and and study Philosophy. I'm into music, MMA, and health. Like to get outdoors on the weekends. Happy to help with cooking, social events and the like. Enjoy eating well and train most days early in the morning. Cheers!
Hi, my name's Arden looking to move to Canberra from Sydney. I love reading, listening to music, watching Netflix, going to theatres, sports and gym. I like to keep things clean and tidy. Quiet and value personal space, but also enjoy conversations (listener's role mostly) and having a good laugh. Move in date flexible, ideally in May. Prefer to have my own bathroom.
I'm easy going, clean, like a good chat but also time to chill. Currently working full time but will eventually return to uni. I fill my time with work, exercise, good food and rubbish tv :)
We are a married couple. I am a visiting scholar at ANU and my wife is an architect who is looking for a job position in Canberra. We are not wasteful. We are quite, tidy and easygoing. We don't have any kids or pets. Also, we are not smoky and alcoholic.
I'm from centre-east coast of Italy, I came to Australia after finishing high school. After that I went back to Italy, moved to New Zealand for 6 months, back to italy again and now I'm finally in Australia. I'm studying Early Childhood and Care at CIT in Bruce and at the same time working twice a week at Yarralulmla Primary School and casual in a bakery. I lived for 2 months in a hostel when I was in NZ (it was more a campground tban a hostel). I shared a room with a French girl who now is one of my great friend. Our room was little but I was pretty organised without using her space. Furthermore because I always have to do something when I'm free, I was casually cleaning toilets, showers or kitchen. I lived for a week (I know it's short but still it's an experience) in a community house in Melbourne. I was cooking with my friends every night for 15 people and helping out with things to do around the house. When I've got free time I like drawing, make art and craft stuff, walking or chilling on Netflix. I'm very respectful about housemates space. I'm very friendly and I would be morr than happy to make pizza or some other traditional food for everybody. On the weekend I like going out and dance, it's a good way to take off the stress accumulated during the week. Looking forward to meet my new housemates.
My name is Alexandria (AJ) and I am currently looking for a place to rent. I am studying at UC and work a steady part-time job. I like to engaged with other people and like to joke around but will give space when asked. I am extremely clean and friendly and will always be up for a cuppa tea or a movie on netflix. I’m very reliable and responsible and tend to mind my own business. I am looking for somewhere that will allow my little cat Bella to stay (if possible). She is very quiet and timid and won’t ruin or destroy anything. Bella is very shy and is toilet trained, you wouldn't even know she was there. Happy to negotiate :)
Unfortunately my lovely housemate has decided to move to Melbourne :( I love cooking and baking and sharing the results! I enjoy my quiet time in the evenings, but am always happy to share a glass of wine. Looking for a reasonably central place, but am fairly flexible for the right people and house.
My name is Vivian Asikhia, 27 years old. I am a working professional in Finance. I will like a home to live in, i am respectful of privacy and space. Away from work , i like to unwind watching tv, visit family and i like a clean space.
I am moving to Canberra for a 8.30-5.30 job and studying next year. I am a very friendly and respectful guy who is social and loves a beer and/or wine. I understand personal space and will always pitch in to keep the house tidy. I enjoy playing Touch footy and basketball.
We are Claire (27, full time scientist) and Chilli (7, full time couch potato) and our parents have finally sold up the house, so we are looking for somewhere to live...from September 2018. Claire has been renting/share-housing since 2014, and Chilli is newer to the game but did so in 2016. A simple description of of us is boring - so clean, tidy, early risers with nanna-bed times who enjoy walkies. Claire is your average human - talks, exercises out of necessity, watches TV (mostly ABC), likes board games and escape rooms, is a dishwasher stacker/unstacker enthusiast, a good cook and an average baker. Chilli is housetrained and all round “good boy” (kid, dog + cat friendly - with NSW Green Collar) whose special skills include sleeping, collecting (soft toys, the occasional cushion), smooching and reclaiming unsupervised food... We spend most weekends (Fri night-Sun) in Sydney with Luke (Claire's husband + Chilli's dad) - Chilli goes too, but we spend about 1 weekend a month in town - and it'd be cool if you'd be okay with the occasional visit by Luke. We would like an unfurnished room, and do have some additional furniture so happy to share or loose it. Flexible with anywhere in Canberra/Queanbeyan, commutable to Deakin. Preferably we’d like you to like indoor dogs because Chilli hates the outdoors. There is the possibility for Chilli to live with his dad + fur siblings....but we'd prefer to be together.
I’m from a small country town couple of hours away, I love animals! I keep to myself I’m very tidy person. Stating to get into fitness while not at work :) I have said I do have pets, I’m hoping to be able to bring my dog with me but if not that will be fine ☺️
Recently graduated from my master of architecture, and currently working while starting on a freelance career! I'm pretty clean and can keep on top of the house hold duties, and usually keen to hang out!
I will be starting my Masters in Engineering from July with ANU, and I am looking forward to a place to be called home. I am a very clean and organized person, will surely do my part in maintaining the apartment. I am a very friendly and responsible person as well. I will be mostly occupied with my studies and work. Apart from this, I play the guitar, enjoy photography and art. Would love to socialize over a cuppa and always down for a chat. Please do feel free to contact me, if you want to team up or have an accommodation according to mine and your requirements.
We are a friendly, mature and clean couple. We are both in the health industry. We are looking to move in on the 1st August, 2018. We are flexible and fun, but are quiet and respect privacy. We are looking for like minded people to share with.
I’m a 23yo who has recently moved from Perth and am working full time at the UNSW ADFA campus and studying part-time online. I prefer my space at times, especially when I have to bunker-down for assessment season, but I value a good D&M and meeting new people. I love all things sport and am an avid touch rugby and bouldering fanatic, I appreciate a good wine every once in a while (almost as much as I love a terrible pun and top notch level 10 meme), and will go out of my way to pat a dog I see out in public. I naturally keep things tidy and always put things back where they belong as I love to keep my environment looking aesthetically pleasing and neat.
Hi future housemates, My name is Richard, I'm 29 and working full-time in the APS. I'm very laid back and sociable so get along with just about anyone. I've lived in share houses before so I'm happy living with housemates, doing my bit around the house, chilling out at home and respecting each other's space. I am sporty, outgoing, neat and tidy, non smoker, social drinker but definitely not a huge party animal. Looking for a larger room as I have a King sized bed to accommodate my height.
Hi there, My name is Zach and I'm a 29yr old IT professional looking for an ensuite room to rent. I am a clean housemate and I usually keep to myself, either playing games, watching Netflix or going to the gym, but also enjoy a chat. Hope to speak with you soon!
I'm a single professional in real estate. I work 6 days a week and usually spend most of my (very minimal) spare time at the gym, cooking, or watching Parks and Rec/sleeping. I do enjoy a bev or two every now and then, and can be pretty social when I’m not exhausted from work. I have a bunch of furniture but am happy to store some if necessary, currently living alone and looking to save money. The main vice is that I do have an indoor cat who comes with me everywhere, she is pretty useless though and manages to cause no damage, thank god. She is fully litter trained and has embarrassing cat anxiety so is pretty happy curled up on my bed. If you hate cats, she will definitely avoid you. If you like cats, she's pretty much a hilarious alien so you'll vibe. Would prefer an ensuite but not necessary!! Open to roomies of all shapes, genders, sizes. But hopefully someone who enjoys a chat and some Netflix :) Thanks y'all
