Hi I'm Steph, 31, originally from Victoria but have been living along the east coast and overseas for too many years to be considered a proper Victorian anymore. I'm working as an ecologist/research scientist, starting a position at ANU come December, having been in France for work. The perks of the job include fieldwork out in the desert and up in the mountains, so I get to travel a bit and love it. I keep a 9 - 5ish work week but with fieldwork can be away for 2 - 3 weeks. I'm a relaxed, outgoing, open minded, and happy to have a chat (science, nature, art and modern takes on philosophy are my jam), but also respectful of other people's space. On weekends, I like to get outdoors whether it be hiking, bike riding, gardening, catching up with friends or playing soccer, but definitely indulge in cafe culture, gigs and lazy days every now and again. I'm perpetually in pursuit of finding the best laksa, and almond croissants, and cook mostly plant based meals at home, I like to cook for others, but probably have a higher than usual tolerance for spicy food so fair warning. I bake sporadically, certainly not a contender for The Great British Bake Off. I'm looking for a cosy environmentally conscious home with some lovely people to share it with. I come bearing an eclectic collection of spices, pizza stone, slow cooker, mixer and good knives.
Hi everyone, I'm currently looking for a place to stay (long-term) in Canberra. I'm a recent graduate and currently pursuing my degree in Leadership and Management. Well, study some more they said, it'll be fun they said. I'm a person that loves to have a beer and banter with my housemates, while also respecting their personal time and space (duh :p) Count me in for a movie night, games night, or even a small chat in the kitchen. So yeah, hit me up!
Hi there! I'm looking for a new place to live. I'm quiet, tidy and clean. Love cooking and snuggling up with Netflix. Also love going out and about Canberra. Most of my time is spent on Uni but I hope to secure a part time job soon.
Hallo ! A little bit about me: I work full time and am looking for a cosy place to live with like-minded housemates from early Jan 2020. I'm quiet and tidy and respectful, but also enjoy house dinners and getting out and about with friends. I don’t like piña colada’s or getting caught in the rain.
Full time hospitality worker, I enjoy reading, movies, cooking and video games. I am a quiet and clean person who is extroverted but also likes some personal time. looking for an all female household with my own bathroom/ensuite
Hi! I’m a fun, friendly and easygoing person who likes a balance of having her own space but is also up for a chat. I’m clean and tidy and would love for my flatmate to be as well. I’ll be moving from Sydney to Canberra for uni. In my spare time, I like hanging out with friends and going on fun adventures (e.g beach!). Would be ideal for my housemate and I to also become friends :)
Hi there! My name is Alex and I'm a full time public servant working in Woden. Im originally from West Australia. I'm a quiet, tidy type who doesn't object to noise an activity around me. I have many hobbies but my main ones are cooking, art, gem cutting and horse riding. I own my own horse so I'm generally out from sunrise to sunset most weeknights - I am very respectful of keeping the noise down for those non-early risers! I'm looking to move to a new place before Christmas and I have based my search on places close to work (Woden Valley) or close to my horse (Bruce/Belconnen area). While I don't mind street parking, if it's all that's available I would like to have parking that isn't time limited throughout the day as I walk or commute to work. Hope to hear from you soon! Edit: apologies for my terrible profile photo, I'm not good with them at the best of times.
Hi, my name is Sam. I'm currently a student at ANU. I am studying psychology, so far I'm really liking it. I work as a casual at a cafe called espresso room. Sadly when I started, I found out I can't drink coffee too much because it makes me sick. The one thing I really enjoy is making and playing music, althought i don't do it too often becuse of uni. I'm looking for my first place to move into, the main thing i want is a decent place with good people.
My name is Terry. I’m looking for a private room. I'm a pharmacist relocating to Canberra from Sydney. I’m at work most of the time. On my days off, I would be either at the gym or out. I’m looking for a furnished rooms, preferably with its own bathroom (I don’t mind sharing one) with internet and bills included. I own a car, so I also need a car park (on- or off-street). If you're looking for a pharmacist in the house, then let me know. Thanks! ☺️
Hey everybody, I am Clare and I’m a youthful 55yrs post-surgery Transgender female who is very easy going. I am seeking other people to start a new share-house with up to 3-4 bedrooms. My location preferences are for suburbs surrounding the Belconnen town centre. I am happy to mix and match ages/genders with individuals or to share with an older (30’s/40’s) single parent with 1-2 school-aged children. I can contribute general furniture and whitegoods to the property, although I don't have a dining setting or a lounge suite. But I have just about everything else you could need, especially kitchen items! Alternatively, I can place unused items in a dry, lockup garage if available at the property. I also have garden equipment - lawn mower, whipper snipper, etc, to help with outdoor maintenance. I have an existing NBN Internet service with unlimited data and a 100mb speed connection. It also includes the Optus 'Fetch' TV with 6 channels and access to Netflix, etc. My Internet plan is on a casual basis (no lock-in contract), so I can transfer it or cancel it if necessary. ABOUT ME: I'm currently a student at the University of Canberra studying Bch Of Public Health / Psychology. However I’m planning to take a study break and obtain employment for the next year or two and then return to study at a later time. I'd prefer a property close to regular public transport services, especially those that go by the University of Canberra or direct links to Civic/Belconnen. But i'm flexible for the 'right' property. I am required to give three weeks’ notice to vacate at my current property, otherwise I am flexible with moving dates. Although I could move within 1-2 weeks as i'd need the overlap time to move my possessions between the properties, so shifting earlier than three weeks is not a problem. That's it !!! Hit me up if you’re interested in teaming up!
