Hey, I have been living in Sydney for almost 1 year and still would like to know new people. I always keep things clean and tidy and I'm also friendly. Would love to find a place with great atmosphere and always happy to have a chat and do things with other housemates. If you need your own time, I will stay out of your way. I work full time Monday to Friday so I'll be hardly home. Would prefer to find a place that has airconditioning and is close to the train station or buses that come regularly. I also have a car and need street parking.
Hello ! My name is Visalakshi. I'm 21 years old and I come from India. I'll be starting my masters in Macquarie University next month. I'm a friendly, clean and fun person. It will be convenient if I find a place near the university. Thanks in advance.
Hello There! We will be moving to Sydney from Brisbane mid-late January and will be looking for a furnished room in a share house or granny flat. We would prefer our own bathroom but are happy to share in the right place. A bit about us ... Rowan is an environmental consultant and I am a (newly graduated) urban planner, we are moving because I have been lucky enough to get a graduate job. We have both lived in share houses for 6+ years so are completely used to pitching in with cleaning. We are friendly, social people who are happy to chill out but also like time to ourselves. We also have two pets, an indoor 4yr old cat, who is very chilled and affectionate. And a 5yr old golden retriever who is very well trained and very lazy, he is used to a fairly small yard and after his morning walk generally sleeps/eats all day. I am willing to pay a pet bond if required - but if you can not allow pets we have arranged for our fur babies to stay with family. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you would be interested in us as roomies :-).
We are father/daughter. I am a sustainable engineer going into politics and she's still at high school with musical talents. We are clean/tidy, follow routines, into Asian fusion meals, animals don't faze us and for fun very outdoorsy people into hiking, canyoning, caving, rock climbing etc happy you join us. We cycle everywhere, no car atm. Looking for a home with other like minded happy, positive people.
Relocating from Perth to Sydney for work. Easy going lad. I will be spending weekdays working in North Ryde starting a new job. I'm pretty social and have lots of interests. Weekends I'm usually out and about/partying. Weeknights I keep it pretty tame and spend a lot of time on Netflix/Gaming. Very clean and respectful of house mates privacy. I don't know a lot of people in Sydney so if there is some social house mates willing to show me around the city that would be a bonus. I'm a home owner myself and handy with maintenance etc. Currently living in a Perth sharehouse with 3 under 24's and have lived in many share houses in the past. Flying to Sydney on the 1st Feb and looking for accommodation as close to this date as possible. I'm a car guy and usually have 2 cars so need somewhere that can accommodate that. Chow. this is the bump line with useless information used to bump me to the top of searches :)
I am currently pursuing a Master degree at Macquarie University. I am fun to hang out with or explore new places as we get to know each other better. On the other hand, I respect other's privacy as I also want that in return. During break-time, I like to explore Sydney to cherish and memorize this wonderful opportunity. I enjoy cooking for myself, so I always keep everything clean for my roommates to experience the same. I am also a pet lover because I have 6 dogs at home (Vietnam). I don't smoke.
I'm Alana from the Philippines. I went in Sydney to take up my Master's degree. I'm looking for a nice place to settle into and the nicest people to share it with, ideally for the year. I have lived in Manila ever since so it will be my first time to reside abroad but I do travel every once in a while. I also do backpacking, met a lot of people and made good friends along the way so I can say I'm easy to get along with. I know how to cook (Asian food), clean and have good quality time. I love watching movies, travelling and having good conversations. I am very tidy as a person and conscious about my environment so there will be no problem with my cleanliness.
I am a musician, but not hipster. I am a comedian but not really funny (dad jokes). I like computers, movies and sports. I'm looking for somewhere to stay long term, with people who are sociable and friendly. I don't want to start a new "share house", I want it to be "home". Though I like to cook, I'm not exceptional at it... I'm happy to take turns, or just do our own meals. Similarly I'm happy to eat together or keep to our own.
Im just a simple person with a simple smile. Clean and tidy person and respect privacy. I love to watch anime on my free time, hangout, a happy person to be with but at first shy and quite. I can easily get along with. Hope to meet a friend soon as i am new to Sydney. Have a good time.
Quiet, clean, relaxed and respectful of other's privacy. I have all furnishings (washer, dryer, fridge, lounge, TV + Netflix etc) and am looking at starting a shared 3BR house. I am a student and get an additional income stream from another source. Looking for like-minded females in their 20s or 30s who would be interested in sharing a place. I mostly keep to myself but also happy to share an occasional glass or two of wine.
Hello. I am currently looking for a place. I am unemployed but on a Disability Pension so I have some money coming in because I am unable to work. I have a sweet little black domestic short-haired cat named Delphine who I require to stay with me for mental health reasons. I am very quiet at first but when I get to know people I will open up. I generally spend my days listening to music, painting, reading and learning languages so I mostly keep to myself. I have my own furniture due to the fact I am moving out of a house I was renting previously. :)
Reason for the move: I'm going to be starting a new job in Pennant Hills on the construction of the underground tunnel in 4 weeks. I'm moving over from Perth. I have quite a bit of furniture. Big 65" TV, all bedroom furniture (queen size bed and 2x chest draws), few pots and pans etc. I have a car and will require a car space or street parking is fine (hopefully no added expense) About me: I'm 33, single, and work in the mines FIFO. I'm looking for a change and back into my career of digital records management. This happens to be in Sydney. I'm looking for a place that is neat and tidy. I don't drink, and am pescatarian. Love to cook. Enjoy going to the gym, keeping active and spending time at the beach. I also like to watch Netflix and chill on weekends. Not looking for a party share house although I do love to go out and watch live music and hit up gigs and pubs. I like drinking cups of tea and chilling out most nights. I'm living in a share house now (I'm the owner), I'm very respectful of rules and quirks of the household. I'm looking for a pet friendly house. The other housemate: I have a beautiful pug Bee Bee. He is 5yo and is very house trained. Pugs suffer in the heat so he would be an inside pooch for the most part, hope that is ok. Super friendly, great with kids and other animals. Can bring my own portable dog door so he can come and go in the house to outside. The dog is my responsibility and I take full care of him. He may greet you with unsuspecting slobbery and cuddles as he is a friendly little guy. I'm a pretty normal person moving over to start a new career for the next 2 years. If I sound like someone you might be able to live with hit me up :)
I'm a Macquarie Student who's in search of nice clean room to settle in. I'm from India. If you are in search of a roommate or a tenant, I'm ready to occupy and share the rent. Movies and Premier League is my kind of fun. Let me know if you are interested. All genders welcome to take me in. Cheers! Meet you Soon.
I am an Indian accounting professional moving to Sydney in January 2017 and need an accommodation - 1 bedroom with private bathroom preferably. I am a non-smoker, who likes to keep his house clean and tidy. I am a fitness enthusiast and would love to play a sport or hang out with my flatmates in my free time.
I am Joint-PhD student from Germany, enrolled at Macquarie University and at the University in Hamburg (Germany), where I currently live. Every year, I return to Sydney to conduct the experimental part of my PhD research. I am clean, tidy and very responsibly. In my freetime, I work as a volunteer youth leader in international camps for kids and teenagers. I also love to cook and live a healthy lifestyle - no smoking, no excessive partying.
I interpret data during the day, and enjoy a run in the evening, followed by a beer or whiskey to end the day. Home cooking most of the time (trying to save more in this expensive city), always clean up after using common areas, and I love exchanging travelling stories!
I'm Brazilian, I'm a teacher and I'm moving to Sydney on Feb 13th to study at Macquarie University. I'm looking for a single room with private bathroom (if possible) close to the uni. I'm a very respectfull, organized and tidy pearson. I'm calm, quiet and easygoing. I'm a backpacker and I'm passionate about traveling.
I'm an engineer working in technical marketing. Recently moved to Sydney from Manila but I’m not exactly new to Australia. I'm easy going, clean and very sociable but I like have private time also. I do a bit of photography and filmmaking on the side so I’m pretty much preoccupied on weekdays. Weekends are spent outdoors or hibernating at home. Prefer to find a room in an apartment but I’m also down to team up to start a new lease. I’m flexible with move in dates as I have only a week’s notice period right now. Cheers!
I am from India - the country of culture and traditions. I am quite neat and tidy kind of a person. I am very friendly and fun-loving person. I am looking forward to living in a multicultural society.I'm moving from Ahmedabad (India) to Sydney to do my masters in International Business at Macquarie University. About to start my session later in February. So I'm looking for a place to stay for around one semester for now.
Hello! My name is Samantha and I am an Australian living in Sydney at the moment looking to move out. I have lived by myself before and look forward to meeting new people from different backgrounds, cultures and sexualities. Mind you if we're both Australian then there's nothing wrong with some snags on the barby! I am not a party animal and often I will either be working or studying at University. I am in the final years of my degree, looking to move out and spread my metaphorical wings. I come from a background of English and Spanish descendants and happy to help around the house and I am very respectful of other room mates. I am easy-going and friendly, although because I like to read I can be mistaken as being rather shy at times. I like to relax after work either with others or with a good book. I like to cook for others including myself and pride myself on cleaning up the kitchen afterwards. I think the housework chores ideally are taken on my everybody and I am not impartial to celebrating life special moments, for myself and others. I look forward to hearing from you and I hope you're having a great day. See you soon, roommate!
I'm a wannabe media junkie, looking to team up with 3-4 cool people to find a place to call home. I'm very clean and tidy, and I like a balance of peaceful evening solitude and fun night outs, looking to stay somewhere near public transport and grocery stores. I'm looking for respectful, thoughtful people who want a warm, family vibe rather than just housemates that share the rent. If you're interested in teaming up or just want to chat please message me!
hello..Sambhav this side !! i'm an international student and would be pursuing masters of eco from macquarie mid feb session ! quite a decent person with lots of brains though ! adjusting and clean by nature . looking for a stay nearby easy transportation access. Au revoir !
We are quiet, courteous and clean. We enjoy good conversation and a bit of telly but are not ultra social. We work hard and are good people. We don't drink, smoke or have people over. Depending on what you have on offer, we can be flexible with price.
I am 23, currently working full-time as a customer relations coordinator at RFG in Castle Hill, Work as a casual on weekends behind the bar. Very easy going , outgoing and tidy , Currently keeping my eye out for accommodation. Something in between Castle Hill and North Sydney City.
I'm a 22 years old Indonesian and a master student candidate of Macquarie University. I love many things especially music and foods. I'm also a musician, I played Piano and some wind instruments. I'm not a fan of sharp smells (especially cigarette smokes) and loud noises at the night. I'm an easy-going person and easy to approach, kinda talkative but also a bit introverted. I'm not sure about this, but my friend told me that I'm quite comforting to talk to. I love dogs, so I don't really mind if you have pets anyway, as long as it doesn't rip all of my clothes. My current problem is I'm still in Indonesia right now and my arrival in Sydney is on 11th February
Jonty works as a bartender, Meg works in retail and studies at Macquarie Uni. We are looking for a share house/apartment that has easy access to public transport. Meg has an interest in screen production and enjoys watching films, divulging in new foods whether it be cooking of eating out, taking part in outdoor activity and is first up for a dance or karaoke sesh (at home or otherwise)! Jonty also shares an interest in food, spends time gaming, listening to music and playing guitar. He continuously looks for good burger joints and craft beer (without the attitude). Both enjoy having friends over for the occasional BBQ, going out or just a night of Netflix. All in all, we are down to earth very sociable, outgoing people capable of keeping both personal and mutual living spaces tidy and respecting the need for privacy.
Born and raised in Sydney, I grew up in the area and studied at Macquarie Uni for my undergrad. I enjoy playing/watching football or any sport for that matter, travelling, gaming, and enjoying a yarn about life over coffee or beer/wine. I have been relocated by work from full-time in the CBD to Norwest so M2 is my daily commute and I figure a nice townhouse behind Macquarie would suit me perfectly as it is fairly central to Sydney with plenty of transport options. I have a couple of months up my sleeve on my current lease so am looking to play the market and find a modern place with a good bush view (no cheap student housing, but nothing over the top). Looking to meet someone who thinks they may want to share my new home for at least 6 months. I work in the home entertainment industry so if you like movies, games, or pay tv, I have that covered lol. Ideal candidate would be 23-30, work or study full-time, eats relatively well and enjoys watching or playing sport too. A healthy knowledge of housesharing etiquette would be great too. Send me a message on this site and lets chat if you think we'd be a good fit :) Hooroo, Luke
Hi we're four girls looking for a house/flat with two bedrooms and two bathrooms for a year. We are students here, doing our post graduation. We keep the place clean and are accommodative. The accomodation should preferably be near the train station ( max walk of 12 mins ). Please message if you have a suitable furnished place with bills included in the rent. Thank you :)
I am 18 years old, entering first year studying Bachelor of Dramatic Arts at Excelsia College in Macquarie Park. I'm from Tasmania and looking for a place to live while studying. I'm a easy going, easy to get along and down to hang, very understanding and friendly. Also very respectable of a person's space. I enjoy relaxing watching movies, or having a swim at the beach. looking forward to hanging out and balancing school work.
Working in regulatory affairs in Epping. Looking for a houseshare without many rules or restrictions with relaxed cool people
Hey there, I'm going into my final year of my BSc at Macquarie Uni and would like to move to somewhere near campus so I can knuckle down and crush it this year! Because of this I'm not looking for a party flat, ideally somewhere quiet where I can get work done. Of course this doesn't mean I don't want to socialise, I'd love to become good friends with my flatmates :) I'm vegetarian (most of the time anyway) and am happy to cook clean etc for myself. I'll probably go home most weekends in north west Sydney to see my family and friends.
I'm an easy going full time professional moving to Sydney from Brisbane for work (originally from Melbourne). I'm looking for a place to call home and I'm highly respectful of people's personal space, belongings, and I am willing to pull my weight with household chores. I enjoy film & TV, cooking, art, music, games, sport, the outdoors, and keeping active. Ideally I'd like to move somewhere close to where my office will be (in Macquarie Park) and am hoping to stay with people of similar age and interests who I can be friends with.
I am a full-time worker in Business/IT and going to university to study IT & Law. Work and university are based in Macquarie so ideally I would like to move into a three bedroom stylish/modern apartment with two other participants in the surrounding suburbs. I am a very neat person and like to keep things clean. Even though I have a high work-load, I do get turned up on weekends, enjoying the company of friends and beers while watching Rick and Morty. I appreciate weeknights as being quiet nights except for special occasion. I am happy moving out with both males/females under the age of 25 as long as you're a clean person and not a weirdo. I'm not really interested in moving out with couples (break-ups and lease issues aren't worth it). I'm looking at securing a place before/around the time my current lease runs out in March and I can also provide essential furniture/appliances If you are interested in teaming up with me you can contact me and we can meet up and have a coffee then potentially look into the right property together.
I'm looking to move into a small share house with 1-2 other people in the Macquarie Park area. Currently I work full-time as a Duty Manager and Grocery In-Charge for Coles at Macquarie Centre and am also studying Business Administration and Economics at Macquarie University. My busy lifestyle generally means I am not at home for long stretches and unintrusive towards my fellow room mates. I have lived in various share houses for over 3 years now so am very reliable and tidy, happy to clean, cook and respect other people's privacy. I'm looking for a six month lease and to move around mid to late February! I'm a very relaxed, easy-going person and I enjoy going to bars and clubs with friends, sports (mostly NRL and football), gaming and just relaxing around the home.
Hey there! Liv here! I'm in my final year of studying nursing all while working full time in a CBD hotel in Guest Services. I consider myself to be pretty easy going (originally a Coastie), clean and enjoy playing a part in the household. Due to my study/work schedule my down time involves me either studying, watching American Horror Story or Kath & Kim repeats, enjoying some good ol brie and sav blanc. Im looking at moving elsewhere as I am after somewhere a tad more modern than my beautiful federation house in Balmain. Let me know if your interested xo Liv

I'm a Filipina studying at Macquarie. Would love to find a place nearby. I have no problems with keeping areas clean and tidy. I prefer to maintain it that way. I am a friendly individual and I am not loud to consider. I am really looking forward to finding flatmates who are almost as like-minded :)
Hi, I'm a 22 year-old exchange student from India, and will be participating in the Macquarie University Undergraduate Exchange Programme 2017 (Law). I'm a quiet (usually), friendly person. I love cats and dogs (I own a cute little cat), travelling (I've just returned from a trip to Italy, so I'm still hungover from all the gorgeous architecture and amazing food I got to have!), and meeting new people.
Looking for a room in the Marsfield area. I'm 18 years old working as Duty Manager at Marsfield Woolworths. I work 5pm-1am five nights a week. I'm responsible, clean and tidy, happy to cook and clean. Looking to stay 1+ years and move in around Jan 23rd. I'm interested in sports, gaming and going out but am happy just relaxing at home.
Just a little about myself: I'm 18, Im in my second year of my Education degree at Macquarie University. I also work part-time (well over 30 hours a week), I am a rather sociable individual, in my free time i like going to bars and the occasional club with my friends. Please note: I do have a boyfriend who may occasionally spend the night with me, he keeps to himself and like myself is very clean. I like a good chat, however i will respect your alone time and privacy in every sense, as i'd hope you would mine. Some Things i like to do: Watch the A-league, Cook, Watch the NRL, Have BBQs and get togethers with friends, play soccer, and have the occasionally drink in social situations. What i'd expect from my house mate is that they clean up after themselves, as i would, that we get along and have a mutual respect for one another and our respective guest.
Hi there, I am a hardworking student at Macquarie University who until recently worked as a Business Analyst in Martin Place. I am taking some time off to focus on University, but I teach Advanced English HSC over the weekends. My life is full and busy and I enjoy keeping a positive attitude throughout it all. I am tidy, respectful and come with excellent references. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, running and anything outdoors. I would love to find a place close to a National Park for this reason. Ideally, I am seeking a private, furnished room with no pets (I am allergic) which is within walking distance or close bus ride to Macquarie University. I would be fine with travelling a little further if the room is close to Lane Cove National Park :) Hoping I can find a quiet place that lets me relax and unwind and get a good nights rest for the working day! Cheers :)
I am a future Commerce student at Macquarie University. Im very easy-going and very clean. I enjoy hanging out with mates on my spare time and being active. I do however enjoy and respect others and my own private time.
