I have recently moved back to Melbourne after working non-stop for the past few months, and am looking for a sharehouse in Melb. I spent 8 months here last year payin between $600-$1200 per week for serviced accomodation, so am looking at something different this year to enjoy financial freedom. I would love an apartment building that has a gym, and pool/tennis court as I love swimming and tennis. Alternatively, somewhere with a beach would be great too. I always clean up after myself straight after using the kitchen, and am friendly and easy going. I am starting my second university degree in March after completing my bachelor of accounting already.
Hey! I'm a Monash student completing her honours year in Psychology . I currently live with my family on the Mornington Peninsula and am looking to move closer to university. I work part time at Coles and will hopefully continue to work part time throughout my honours year. I'm a clean person and a great cook! I'm vego but am not opposed to living with meat eaters. I love being social and going out for drinks with friends, but I also really value quiet time and privacy. My hobbies include baking, binge watching TV series and reading! I have a backpacking trip booked in late November so I'm looking for a place that will allow me to have an approx 9-10 month lease (Mid-late Feb to mid Nov). Look forward to hearing from you!
I am a young professional looking to move to the city (inner-east) to commence my graduate job in the Melbourne CBD, available to move in late January 2017. Hello! My name's Liz and I'm friendly and laid back. I like to get on well with people but also enjoy my own space, and respect other people's privacy. For the past year I've been living in Japan teaching and now I'm moving from Osaka (but I'm originally from Sydney) to Melbourne to do my Masters of Teaching. I'm looking for somewhere relaxed, chill and homely to stay next year from mid Feb. I'll be working part time and studying full time. Before living in Japan, I lived in a share house in Waterloo (near Surry Hills) in Sydney and clean up after myself and don't make too much noise. If this would suit your household, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
I am about to start my Uni in Monash at Caulfield. I am an easy-going , non- smoker, chilled guy in my mid twenties. I like football, hanging out with people , music, travelling and video games. Hello! I'm a student at Monash doing arts/law. I'm pretty easy to live with - have an understanding of personal space, am clean and reliable when it comes to rent/bills. I'm not too sure what else to write right now, but if you have any questions please feel free to message me!
Hi I'm mehrdad and I'm 26 years old. I am currently a full time student of masters of teaching in Monash university. I love pineapple and music. Deep house and techno are my favourites. I value privacy, honesty, friendship and respect. I am clean, organised, social, positive, happy, badass and fun. Through the year I'm mostly busy with the uni, placement and assignments and in my free time I enjoy going out and socialising with my amazing friends, playing Xbox or engaging with music on decks. Haven't been to the gym in a while but would be so happy to find someone who kicks my ass to the gym.
Hi potential future flatties! My name's Ellie. I'm a 26 year old video editor. I'm creative, social and easy going. I would love to find a home with a group of people who I consider friends. I want to find a social flat where I can also do my own thing and have my own space. Ideally I'd love a furnished room but could make do without for the right place. :)
Hi! I'm a medical student from France. In January, I will move to Melbourne for an internship. I am social, open-minded and comfortable living in community (never lived alone actually). I am a tertiary educated professional looking for a friendly, calm and mature-aged share house. My interests include computers, music, world news and a healthy lifestyle. I value privacy and respect the rights of others. I am looking for somone to share with who cares about social justice, the arts and environment.
Hi there Full time student in law and science degrees with one year left. Work casually across multiple corporate hospitality venues across the city (at the Australian Open at the moment). I'm energetic, fit and active but also enjoy my quite time studying or relaxing.
I'm really respectful, clean and tidy and I do respect privacy. I had been working as an aupair in Sydney for 6 months so I do not mind cleaning or cooking for my flatmates. I am a really outgoing and openminded person: I like to socialize, have fun, go out for a drink or for a live concert. I love any field of art and I am always excited for organizing trips during the weekend. Although I am still focused on studying, I really want to take the chance to explore Melbourne. I would like to personally see the place before paying deposit. I'll be in Melbourne from the 11th so we can arrange an inspection.
Hi there, I'm Amy, a 26-year-old high school teacher from Queensland. I'm fairly active and play various sports, dance ballet, run and enjoy a good kickboxing session. I also really love the arts, so I'm constantly on the lookout for new exhibitions/shows to see. I love to cook and make a mean chocolate souffle. I am very clean and would prefer to live with someone at least a little similar. I have shared before with no issues and am very reliable (references available if you would like them). I am mostly chilled out during the week, however I would like to live in a home where I am able to bring a friend or two to on the weekend for a quiet drink or dinner. I also value open communication and am very respectful of others' and their space. I don't own any pets but will love yours as my own. I'm also ideally looking for somewhere with my own bathroom. If you think I would fit in nicely in your home please get in touch! :)
Hi there potential housemate! My name is Venus. I'm 24 years old and I work full time. I'm looking for unfurnished room (preferably ensuite) in a house I can call home. I work as a Logistics Coordinator for a cream cheese manufacturing company, so every now and then I get to come home with free cheese...yaay! :) I work Mon-Fri, 9-5 so I'm pretty much occupied during the week. Because I'm usually very busy during the week, my weekends are very precious. This implies either sleeping in the whole weekend or just having a big one out with mates. I tend to binge watch TV shows whenever I have the time. Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Vikings, the list goes on..although I'm guessing I've lost some readers at this point. I do have a glass of wine or a bottle of beer during the week just to go with my meals :) I'm not a smoker but I don't mind living with smokers as long as it's done outside. I love dancing but not great at it, still practising though. I do know how to cook although I'm not sure whether I love it haha. With that said, I don't mind sharing a meal or two with my housemates. I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers!
Hello! My name's Sam, I'm about to start my third year Arts/Science at Monash Uni, I also work part time for an IT company in the CBD. I enjoy live music and surfing. I'm clean & tidy etc. (insert good housemate qualities). Looking to join an existing house or start a new one in South Yarra/the inner east.
I'm very easy going with a good sense of humour. I like the company of people while appreciating the need to respect privacy. I'm fully house trained and low maintenance. My passion is theatre and a fair amount of my spare time is taken up in this regard. I work full time for the state government in the city. I have recently separated from my partner, hence this search.
I am looking to start a share house with someone who is friendly, outgoing and respectful. I work everyday 9-5 so I enjoy coming home and relaxing during the week. Weekends I usually want to be out of the house and doing something adventurous and exploring new parts of Melbourne. I hope for a friendship in my housemate, who I can share a drink with and binge watch to series or movies with. Send me a message to know anything more :)
Hi there, Working as a full time chef, I am looking for a house to call home. I've been living in Melbourne since 3 years and I love it ! I love listening and producing music when i have spare time.. as well as Snowboarding and mountains activities in winter. I don't often go out at night but I love sharing a glass of wine with a friend or watch documentaries, movies. I will occasionnaly cook dinner if you guys enjoy sharing a meal.. Also If you like humour, you will enjoy having me around :) x Ross
I've lived in share houses for the past three years and I'm in my 4th year of a double bachelor of Accounting, Banking & Finance and study full time while balancing full time work. I grew up in regional Victoria and since moving to the city its official that I'm a city girl. I've spent the past two years working multiple jobs whilst studying and in my final year I am looking at putting more of my time into finishing my degree. I love running, swimming and going to the gym, and have recently adopted a tiny ginger kitten named George (we're a package deal, so if you can handle two gingers in your life you're a brave soul but will be loved forever). George is very energetic and spends most of his day sleeping on the bed or climbing onto your shoulders so he can sleep under your face. He's house trained though and is an inside cat only. I work in hospitality so my hours vary, but I typically finish around 5pm or 11pm depending on start times. Working in hospitality means I get enough of a party at work so I'm not looking to live in a party house preferably full time professionals or students.
Hi, I am Thilina , an IT professional who is moving to Melbourne on 5th Feb with my family. I have three kids and they are at the age of nine(boy), three(boy) and 6months(girl) Both short and long term preferred.

I am 23 years old and prefer people of the same age group. I think of myself as a calm and sociable person who respects others' private space. I do occasionally enjoy drinks and bbq in weekends. My budget is around 180$ pw and my length of stay is flexible. I am also open up to the idea of grouping up with some nice people and renting a whole apartment. I will be reaching Melbourne on 9th feb, so will like a place available from around this date. Thanks :)
Hi, my name is Esther and i'm a 22 year old female starting work as a registered nurse at Caulfield Hospital. I'm a pretty friendly person and enjoy spending time with friends at bars, beaches, and hiking trails, though i don't get to do these things as often as i would like. I really enjoy baking, painting, sketching and music, am generally a tidy person, and very respectful of others' space and needs (especially those studying), but am always up for a good chat or night out. Looking for a social place to live, not just a room to rent. Thanks, Esther
I am moving to Melbourne from Adelaide to work full-time as a Visual Merchandiser at Chadstone. I don't know many people in Melbourne so would love to make some new friends. I am naturally pretty quiet and will be working Monday to Friday. I'm nice and easy going. I enjoy being tidy and mostly organised at home. I respect others property, belongings and privacy. Looking to live with others similar ☺ For fun I like to catch up with friends, eat delicious foods, try new things, exercise. I'll probably fly back to Adelaide on some weekends. I'd also like if I can have my partner or a friend from Adelaide stay with me in my room for the weekend once in a while, wouldn't be disruptive. My maximum is $200 a week including bills (roughly). I'm hoping to spend less. Plan to extend after three months will commit to 6 months to secure thet right place. Move in date would be Saturday the 21st.

Prefer to live close to Burwood campus but can be flexible :) I will be in Melbourne from the 21st of February
Student returning to study after a year off working and travelling. Bubbly, outgoing girl that loves to have a few drinks and socialise on weekends but a little quieter during the week. Clean & independent. Would like to find some great friendly housemates rather than just people to co-exist with. A good house environment is more important to me than the aesthetics of a place! Currently working as an Operations Assistant in my hometown, let me know when a good time to check out your place is and say hi.
Hi! My name is Lauri and I'm a 28 year old multimedia designer from Helsinki, Finland. I'm currently working full time in the eastern suburbs and would like find a nice share house located somewhere between the city and my work. I'm responsible, open-minded and an easy-going guy. I'm into music and all kinds of arts in general. I like to spend my free time going to gigs and exhibitions and also hanging out with friends and watching movies etc. I have plenty of share house experience from around the world and can appreciate a nice community as well as privacy and a reasonable amount of cleanliness around the house. Hey guys, I have been living in Darwin for the past couple of years, however, university has brought me to Melbourne. Currently studying Business sports management at Deakin with 2 years left on my degree. I'm 27 years old and have lived out of home in shared houses a number of times and for a number of years. I have lived in Toowoomba, Brisbane, Barcelona and Darwin. I am currently employed at Sportsbet (darwin office) and working through my transfer to the Melbourne Centre. My interests are in sport, healthy living, business, reading and being social. I like to live in a positive, clean, friendly environment. Love to be social and have a few quiet drinks now and again, however, I'm definitely not a party animal lol. Like to also have some down time and space for myself where I can focus on my studies and the things I need to do. Fun, friendly, positive guy who is very keen on checking out and exploring what Melbourne has to offer :)
Hi. I'm a 29 year old primary school teacher. I studied Exercise Science in Melbourne and finished in 2009. For the last six years I have traveled and worked at Adventure Camps with kids. I have lived in Canada and England. I love being active, sociable and also relaxing. Respecting peoples things and space is important. I am currently looking for a place for myself, however in April my Canadian girlfriend (Emily) will be moving to Australia. She is a dietitian working in Uganda. We love to cook (Emily is much better than me, I am an excellent helper) and have a glass of wine/scotch. We are both very welcoming, friendly and positive people, it's important to us that any place we live feels like a home for us and everyone in it. If we are cooking flatmates/friends are always welcome to join, with no obligation. I am looking for a place with an on-suite/private bathroom. Male/Female/couples are welcome to contact me. If any of this sparks an interest feel free to shoot me a msg and we can catch up and see if it's a match. Definitely open to teaming up. Looking to move ASAP as the school term starts in less than 2 weeks.
Hi i'm Bronte! I'm a very relaxed, but respectful house mate. I'm always happy to hang out and have a chat. When I'm not working or studying, I love going swing dancing. I'm single, no pets, and I only have my bedroom furniture and my car to take with me.

i am a kenyan, know when to mind my own business and also know how to have fun. i am a student and also work at cabrini ashwood.
I am in my last year of a tax/business law and accounting degree at Monash and work as a store manager in retail. I have two cats who are fully trained and tend to sleep most of the day. Because i am so busy with work/uni i tend to stay out of the way but am keen to make new friends with future roomies.
I love cooking for people but I also like my space, I love indie board games and game nights and I'm a big healthy eater. I'm 18 in March and can sometimes be a clean freak and trust me if there's a house inspection I'll spend two days prior on just floors and walls. I'm a huge gamer and will fan girl over anything geeky. Just note I'm trying really hard to save before school starts.
I'm 24 and currently employed full-time as a project engineer. I consider myself quite outgoing, easy to get along with, reliable and very sociable. I’m very neat and clean up after myself religiously. I have had experience living in share houses and on my own before so I am aware of what is expected. Besides working usual hours of 8am-5pm, in my spare time I love to play guitar, binge watch crappy TV shows and eat more than I probably should. I am usually out and about on weekends, but also enjoy the occasional night in. I would love to move into a place with social people of similar age who would be up for sharing a couple of meals or drinks with each other now and then. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
Hi there, I am Clare, a happy, quiet and clean flat mate while very willing to talk and communicate. And of course I respect people for their privacy and personal space. After several years' work in Shanghai, I will be back to study full-time in Monash from Feb 2017. I have a healthy life style. I love music, taking photos and traveling. I will need to move in on the date of 13th Feb 2017. Don't hesitate to contact me:) Cheers, Clare
Hi! My name is Mollie, I'm 21, I've just finished studying fulltime and I'm working in retail. I'm a very bright, bubbly and easy going person, I'm also neat and tidy, courteous and respectful and I really enjoy cooking and baking. I love to get out and about but a quiet one in front of the TV with some comfort food is totally my style too. I'm happy being social and interacting with my house mates as well as taking some time to myself. I'm very serious about finding somewhere and I'm looking to move closer to work, I'd love to be able to find a house or flat, sharing with ideally a maximum of three people that I really get along with. If I could find somewhere with a private bathroom and room that would also be ideal.
I am fun and bubbly, I love meeting new people and socializing. I am passionate about photography and good food, I love to be active, I love exercising as it fills me with the sense of achievement when I reach specific goals I set for myself, I spend alot of time at the gym training. I love to make people feel good, as it makes me feel equally good to see someone smile. I am a clean freak and I love everything to be tidy so I need to be living with people who will be respectful of communal areas and keep them clean and tidy. I don't like partying, I don't drink and I don't smoke. I am a full time worker on a contract so payments won't be an issue. I will also need parking as I have my own car and I also have my own double bed. Need a place to move into ASAP for myself and my friend who will be here until June so we need two rooms around Oakleigh, Bentleigh, Moorabbin areas.
Hi! I'm studying a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. I'm looking for a share house with some chill people after living in student accommodation for three years. I'm hoping for people I can have a good time with, whether that means a few drinks or a quiet night on the couch. I'm quiet, clean, and easy-going. I do smoke, but I'm respectful about it, and NEVER inside or around people who are uncomfortable with it. My current lease is up on February 7, so a mid/late January move would be awesome, but the start of Feb works too :)
Hi my name is Laura, I am a 24yo looking for a large room in the Caulfield North, Malvern East, Prahran, South Yarra areas I am easygoing, tidy, have a great sense of humour, and a non smoker. I love to socialise, go to the gym, watch movies, go out for dinner/ brunch, have wine with friends I'm looking to move out before the 28th of Feb Parking is important
I am Hayley, I am planning on moving to Melbourne in early Feb and am looking for somewhere to live, I'm happy to keep to myself and understand the importance of space however I do also enjoy being social and having a chat. I am planning on working full time so I won't be home a lot. I keep things tidy and can bring my own furniture if required. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I'm a student from Malaysia and I'm currently looking for a room to rent nearby Monash Caulfield campus. I'll be having an exchange program in Monash and the length of my stay will be approx around 5-6 months. I'm friendly and sociable to live with! Looking for housemates that are tidy and friendly :)
Hi there, I'm Karan. I'm a 22 year old Indian and I'll be moving to Melbourne for my postgrad in Feb at the university of melbourne. I like to keep things clean and tidy (OCD) . I like to travel and visit new places.
I'm currently a student at Monash, looking for somewhere to live that's closer to the city. I've rented/lived in sharehouses before, so I'm no stranger to cleaning schedules/respecting privacy/keeping noise down etc. When I'm not studying or working I like to go out salsa dancing, see movies/watch Netflix, or just get out of the house and do some sightseeing. I've lived in Melbourne all my life but I like to get out and about. I work casually in retail (10-20 hours a week), and also work at the MCG. I've never had a paying meeting my rent, but wanted to be upfront about my employment situation.
Full-time professional looking to make it in the big smoke! Originally form Perth, my lease finishes at the end of January and am hoping to move in with someone relaxed who is respectful of space and privacy. Love to have a good ol' chat! But also love to have my alone time. Being new to Melbourne I would like to have someone who is friendly, approachable however I totally understand if you are strictly looking for a housemate rather than a friend! Ideally would love my own bathroom... but it isn't a deal breaker!
I am very easy going person. Love to cook. Respect for someones privacy. Was in Sydney for couples of months moving to Melbourne currently studying in le cordon bleu collage.
