We are a French couple who wants to discover Australia. We already lived in a share house and we like meet new people, discover new culture. We are really friendly, clean and respectful. We like hike, travel, see movies and play. We love food :) So discover food and share some dinner would be a pleasure for us. We hope to meet you quickly and share good moments.
Thank you for taking the time. Please read the whole thing as I may say something of interest to you. Please see section titled 'flexibility'. I am very friendly, responsible, and keep things clean. I work as a researcher at Monash. I also work as a Designer. -------------------- Interests -------------------- Tennis, Golf, News, and Gym. -------------------- Nationality: Australian -------------------- -------------------- My schedule -------------------- I will usually leave by 8 AM, and come back to sleep after 8-9PM. I don't have much of a footprint. -------------------- Requirements for stay -------------------- 1. Very quiet 10 PM on wards - I need to sleep 2. Internet (Decent) 3. Clean and doesn't smell bad ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My proposal ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------- Period of stay -------------------- I am on a flexible contract, which means that I may stay: 2 weeks (0.5 month) > UP TO > 12 weeks (3 months) - at this stage. It could be even longer if I get another contract. -------------------- Notice -------------------- I am given 3 days notice by Monash. I will try my best to give you up to 3-7 days notice. -------------------- Flexibility -------------------- In order to accommodate you, I am willing to accept 3-7 day notice. This will give you tremendous flexibility - to have someone rent your room so you can earn income from it as long as they are there, whilst you may seek someone for longer term should you desire it. When you find them, simply give me notice. -------------------- Budget -------------------- My budget is up to $175 per week incl. all. It depends on location, property condition, facilities, convenience to transport (train / tram / bus), people etc. -------------------- Payment -------------------- I will pay upfront each week to designated bank account. -------------------- Bond -------------------- I cannot pay bond for good reasons. Firstly, the risk of rent non-payment (as I will pay in advance) or damage does not exist. I will pay for it should the need arise or am obligated. My experience with landlords who take bond has been full of delays and issues. I am willing to sign a written agreement for mutual understanding and listing of any obligations. If it is still an issue even though it shouldn't be, then we can exchange IDs. -------------------- Move-in date -------------------- I can move in today/tommorow. I arrive in Melbourne today.
I am a female in my thirties I am currently in the process of moving myself back up to Melbourne from Philip Island. I had recently taken a little time out of work leaving my job down the Island to study full time (online) giving me the freedom to be able to relocate myself back up in Melbourne which is where I truly want to be (I’m a Melbourne girl born and bred.) I have just started back working full time with a new job as a Customer Service Advisor for City Holdings in Mulgrave so I am now looking to find a place to live somewhere around that area. My previous work history has been in finance administration, banking and customer service so I am looking forward to something a little bit different heading in a new direction with lots of opportunity to learn new things. I am also still completing my online study for my Dip.in Business Administration, just reducing the work load now I’m back working full time. I am pretty laid back easy going person, extremely respectful of other people. I like meeting new people and learning about them and their experiences in life. I like to spend my spare time watching movies and catching up with family/friends and heading out for the occasional night on the town hitting the hit the dance floor with my besties. I am a Melbourne girl through and through I have been lucky enough to meet some amazing friends here who have now become my family. I count myself very lucky to be able to live in the greatest city in Australia maybe even the world. :)
Hi I am looking for a pretty fun, chilled and easy going sharehouse with people who will make sharing a place the best experience and that can have a chat here and there and genuinely care about respecting their fellow housemates. I am even happy to team up with one or two people to find an existing share house around the the chadstone, camberwell, bentleigh or brighton area. About me: I am a young professional working in retail management full time. I am a pretty easygoing, relaxed and friendly type of person who is neat and tidy and always happy to help complete jobs around the place, be supportive of my flatmates, be respectful of everyone, enjoys a good chat and happy to cook and share a meal with my housemates and don't mind staying in and having some quiet drinks with friends. I like pets, going to gym when I can and don't mind watching a bit of Netflix from time to time. Look forward to hearing from you, please send me a message if your interested!
Hi all! I'm looking for a place to call home. I'm moving down to Melbourne from the Central Coast in NSW. I have a full time job on Chapel St so anywhere close to that would be absolutely dandy. I'm 23, quiet, honest, independent and clean. I respect privacy and value my own. I have always paid rent on time and have references if they are required. I can be a bit of a hermit at times but l love a good chat over dinner or just whenever. When I'm not working I'll be watching movies or reading. I love dinner, cats, and quoting the Simpsons.
Easy going, social and clean; that's the basic stuff. I'm a creative at heart and lucky to be working full time as such. When I'm not at work I'm mostly with friends, enjoy good food, good movies, travel, fashion, a bit of golf (still learning) and the outdoors.
Hey there, My partner and I are looking to rent a house with a backyard, that's pet friendly for 2 small dogs. We both work part time, as well as play in corporate bands. Great rental history and we take great pride in maintaining a clean home. Looking to move as soon as possible, due to current rental house being converted into apartments. Regards, Tearnu & Adrian

Hi i'm Matt. I am currently looking for a housemate/housemates to share with. Preferably someone with little to no furniture as I can fully furnish the property (other than bedrooms of course). I am looking to move by April 9th when my current lease is up. I work full time in retail and i'm studying a masters in politics and policy part time, so you probably won't see me around much during the day. When I am home I enjoy socialising with housemates when I get the chance. In my spare time I also enjoy cooking, listening to music and running. As a housemate I am generally very tidy and like keeping the place organised. Feel free to message if you think we might get along as housemates
I'm a weird kid from Bendigo doing a master's degree at Monash this year! 23 y/o, loves animals. Ideally, I'd like to get into a place nearby, or a few train stops away, or a short tram ride. Bendigo is nowhere near close enough. I'm pretty shy and nervous, and tend to keep to myself, I just need somewhere to study and sleep that isn't gonna bleed me dry or kill me. In my spare time I draw, read, and worry about the future. I don't leave hair in the shower, and I don't smoke. I'm so tired.
Friendly, easy-going and always chilled, working full-time software developer. I love juggling and many other random activities (including developing software, cooking, running, walking around, observing, living, drinking on the rooftops, studying, travelling, listening funk, trip-hop, wave, psytrance, jazz, Balkan, dub.. etc., reading books and many more). From Poland.
I'm a 34yr old professional, who travels a lot for work. I'm into art, acting and pop culture. I'm born in South Africa of Indian decent, and have been an Australian for 27 years. I've lived independently, in a couple and in share houses since I was 21. I'm pretty easy going, can cook and am clean.
I work full time for a law firm in the CBD. I keep to myself but don't mind the occasional hang out. I have a strict clean-as-you-go mentality. I would like to live with somebody who has a similar ethic.
Hi! My name's Khadija and I'm currently a Masters student at Monash. I'm looking for a private room in a share house/studio apartment that's in or around Melbourne City. I'm a quiet, clean and considerate person and would expect a similar housemate in return. I would also like to have a housemate that I can chat with and occasionally hang out with. I understand the need for privacy and will not infringe on your space. Also, If you know of any available studios/1 bedroom apartments, please do let me know.
Hey guys! I'm an accountant (not the boring nerdy type) working in Malvern. Want to live closer to work for now. Won't do your tax returns but I'm happy to do house chores. I like my me time, but I'm also up for a chat. So I will definitely respect your space. After a room (furnished or unfurnished), even better if your property comes with a cat/dog - my family runs an animal rescue, I'm an animal person.
I'm Andrew, 26 years old and I'm originally from Brissy. I'd describe myself as a social outgoing person who enjoys others company. I spend most of my time at work through the week(Monday - Friday, 8 - 5:30) and try and get out and about as much as possible on weekends. I enjoy surfing, a good breakfast, the outdoors, Sir David Attenborough and drinks with good company.
Hi I'm Jasmin, I work full time as a medical secretary (9-5 Mon - Fri) and looking preferably to team up with another female to find a place to rent relatively close to the city. I have lived in Melbourne my whole life and lived alone for the past year. I orginally lived with a friend who had to move interstate so I'm very well accustomed to the responsibility of keeping on top of bills. I do have furniture for a two bedroom apartment so I can provide all furniture needed. I do occasionally go out on the weekend but prefer to have a quiet night in during the week. If you are interested in teaming up with me, feel free to message me.

Hi, my name is Luis, 27years old, brazilian graphic designer. I'm searching for a tidy and confy place to share with some nice and respectful people. Friendly and easygoing guy who likes pets, to chill and watch some movies, talk over a glass of wine or beer, play videogames, go out to parties from time to time (but not that much). Also i have the need for some personal space, so I like to spend some time alone with my thoughts.
I love getting to know my housemates and living in a social house, while I also like my alone time. At home, I like watching netflix, cooking, reading and socialising. I'm 24, work full-time in marketing near Monash Uni and love playing team sports in my spare time and going to the gym. I also love beach days and weekend adventures and I'm a bit of a foodie! As far as being a housemate goes, I'm clean and considerate, and chip in my fare share for the house. I have some furniture I can contribute, however if not needed I can put in storage. I'm moving from the other side of the city for my new job and sadly my housemate/friend is off to the US. Ideally I'd like to live with a two other young professionals and not in a party house, although I do enjoy a cheeky wine now and then. Interested in setting up a new house too - send me a message!
Hello :) Happy, easy-going guy who works two jobs, TV background actor & in Crown Casino Melbourne . I'm looking for a flatmate who I can share a home with, not just for the sake of place/accommodation to live in. I'm reliable, mature, organised and responsible, seeking the same for my future housemates . I have no preference of whom I shall share with as long as we get along just fine :) Look forward to hear from you! Cheers!
Hi everybody! We are 3 Italian friends looking for a 3 bedrooms house, very urgent! We work in Chadstone shopping center so we would like to live around here. We are very responsible and clean persons, we can provide references if needed. We can confirm 1 year at the moment. Thank you so much! Grazia, Waheed and Federico
So, the hair is a bit shorter and darker, but the face is the same =) I am from Germany, 27 years old and have been in Melbourne for two years now. I am working part-time as an Executive Assistant and am looking for a quiet place to stay as I am starting to study part-time as well this year. Most importantly, I need easy access to public transport to get into the CBD and nice people to live with. I have shared an apartment before so am familiar with respectful behaviour towards flat mates and the sharing of responsibilities, like cleaning etc. What I enjoy most about having flat mates is the occasional hang outs and chats, as I am very sociable and always interested in getting to know the people around me. I am all for an harmonic atmosphere and am happy to contribute to that with baked/cooked goods and my positive attitude.
Hi, I'm Joel. I'm in my final semester of uni currently working part time as a civil engineer, but will be transitioning to full time in a couple of months. I'm looking for a place fairly close to the city with easy access to the Monash Freeway and somewhere to park my car, ideally with people who keep a pretty normal schedule. I consider myself to be someone who is well mannered and relatively tidy, and I wouldn't say no to a glass of wine or a bit of a yarn after work. With that being said, I am definitely the kind of person who also needs a bit of alone time, usually with a book. In my spare time I enjoy going to gigs or just to the pub. Feel free to get in contact.
Hi there, my name's Bharathy. I'm a 23 year old Environmental Engineering and Science degree student, studying full-time in my final year at Monash University, Clayton. In between study I work part-time at Officeworks and enjoy getting out and enjoying the sunshine, whether it's through riding my bike, hitting up a rooftop bar, or chilling in the park. I'm a tidy, responsible and easy-going person, respectful of personal space, but always up for a chat over coffee or drinks. I like to play the ukulele, even though I'm not that great at it. And I love a good movie night. Looking for somewhere relatively close to public transport, as it's mostly how I get around. I'm flexible with lengths of stay and relatively so with moving dates. That is, looking to move out soon, but open to waiting if it means finding a good place and some lovely people to share it with.
Need a place to move into ASAP around Oakleigh, Bentleigh East, Malvern, Clayton, Clarinda, Moorabbin areas. MUST BE CLEAN, RESPECTFUL HOUSEMATES I am fun and bubbly, I love meeting new people and socializing. I am passionate about photography and good food, I love to be active, I love exercising as it fills me with the sense of achievement when I reach specific goals I set for myself, I spend alot of time at the gym training. I love to make people feel good, as it makes me feel equally good to see someone smile. I am a clean freak and I love everything to be tidy so I need to be living with people who will be respectful of communal areas and keep them clean and tidy. I don't like partying, I don't drink and I don't smoke. I love going out for breakfast, catching up on tv shows when I have time, cooking and of course eating, doughnuts are my weakness. I am a full time worker on a contract so payments won't be an issue. I will also need parking as I have my own car and I also have my own double bed.
My mate Lachlan and I are moving to Melbourne late this year between August - October! Lachlan works full time in Melbourne, I currently live in Mount Gambier SA. I am a qualified teacher with a bachelor degree, and an aspiring artist! We have been friends since highschool, We are both clean, non-smoker, both in secure relationships and both super friendly, and easy going! Hit me up with a message if you're keen!
I'm studying Masters of Teaching at Monash and working at Chadstone Shopping Centre. I've been living in sharehouses for 4 years and am all about communication and understanding what everyone expects from each other. I'm big on respecting communal space and keeping things clean and tidy, always happy to share a meal (love cooking for people) and a movie but also good to do my own thing in my room and give people their space. Ideally looking for team-ups as I have a fridge, washing machine, 6 seat dining set and some old school lockers I converted to drinks cabinets, most of which I'd rather use to furnish a new place with than sell, but that's just a preference.
Hi guys this is yash , i am 19 and studying BBA at holmesglen Chadstone and i work part time on the weekends I am kind of quiet, easy going and friendly and dont mind a good company . Apart from that i am a person who likes to keep things clean and hygenic. THAT's all :)
Hey potential housemates, I'm Matt. I'm a 26 year old professional working in the banking sector and also studying an MBA part time. I'm pretty busy during the week but enjoy the weekends off. I'm into my sports (footy, cricket, nfl and nba), catching up with mates, weekends away and am a keen traveler, most recently I spent 6 months in Europe, The UK and South East Asia. I have a side business which is a craft beer blog called offthetap with over 15,000 followers and will occasionally get free beer deliveries to the house, your more than welcome to share these. I have lived in share houses for 7 years and well aware of boundaries and privacy. I am really easy going and effortless to live with as I contribute to house chores and clean up after myself. I have recently moved to Melbourne to work full-time at Monash University as a research fellow. When I am not working, I am probably outdoors climbing, hiking or biking.
Hi I'm Nao. I'm an international student from Japan and studying bachelor degree at Monash University. I moved to Australia 5 years ago. I'm an easy going person and clean and tidy. I love music, movies and cooking. I'll be at uni during day time (10am-8pm) and will be quiet at night time (might go out on the weekends).
Not a flake. Promise! Working full time in retail, studying commerce part time. Looking for somewhere I can have privacy but also the ability to be social :) Also I don't do petty housemate stuff like slam doors and leave passive aggressive messages ! :)
Hi there, My name is Anj, I'm 25 years old and working full time in marketing. I have been living in share houses for over 5 years and am looking to move with like-minded people of a similar age to me :) I'm clean and tidy, I'll be bringing my own vacuum with me which I'm happy for you to use as a house vacuum, I'm respectful of people's personal space and their belongings, pay bills on time and always willing to lend a helping hand around the house when I can. Most importantly, I'm looking for a place where I can feel part of a man-made housemate family rather than feeling like I'm renting a room. I enjoy coming home at the end of a working day and having a chat with my housemates in the lounge room or going to the beach or somewhere with housemates on weekends. I'm also preferably after a room that's unfurnished, I have a few kitchen items I can contribute however I'm willing to give them away/throw them out if you already have ample kitchen stuff. If I sound normal-ish so far and would like me to come have a look at a place, please let me know :) Thanks, Anj

Hi, I'm Calvin and I'm currently studying my last semester of master's at Monash Uni. I just moved back from Europe and would need a place to stay till mid-June. I'm tiny and keep things organised. I like to go out for food, movie, or just walking around if I'm not otherwise staying in (mostly a homebody type). I'm looking for a sharehouse somewhere along the Pakenham railway line as it's important for me to be able to commute to uni, yet also accessible to the city area. Cheers :)

I'm a 26yr old Aussie student in architecture, with a part time job in a firm. I hope to stay in a place for a couple of years. I love my hiking, film and music. Clean and tidy around the kitchen and up for a chat and laughs. I'm respectful of other's privacy and I'll be spending a lot of time working on my studies anyway. I've lived in a sharehouse previously for a couple of years and had a few tenants come through. All of whom I'm still friends with today. It's the best way to meet new people. The ideal room will be a mid-large size as I need to fit not only my bedding and what not, but a large desk with computer, printer, stationary and materials.
I'm pretty easy going, ill be around when im not studying or working, otherwise im pretty quiet and like to keep to myself, but will engage in conversation when im in the mood.
Hello Melbourne peeps I'm Sarah 27 from the uk I'm a beauty therapist. My lease is up in just over a week so looking to move into a friendly, social house share (that isn't a party house still) but want to meet new people and enjoy the last length of my Australian working holiday visa. Ive been travelling for the last 3 years so i understand and respect the fact people like their own privacy and space but want to be able to at least catch up over a beer or 3 at some point. I have a lot of friends here so i will be out at weekends enjoying the last of the summer rays - until winter comes and i hibernate in my room smashing out a new box set of some sort. So if you have anything in the preferred areas listed then drop me a message. Peace.
I moved to Melbourne from Brisbane about 6 Months ago. I used to be a Tennis coach in the sunny state but am now working at Securinvest Financial Planners in Wheelers Hill. I have been staying with some cousins while I get a bit more used to Melbourne, but traveling to work sucks, so looking for a place that's a bit easier to get to work. I don't mind a casual beer in the afternoon and I try to get out on the weekend. I have learned to be a pretty tidy person in my own space but am also easy going with whatever the house vibe happens to be. My goal this year is to get better at golf because I suck! My biggest weakness is an addiction to AFL DreamTeam (not a weakness).
I am a Kinesiologist & Kinesiology teacher working in Hawthorn & Camberwell. I am neat & tidy, enjoy cooking - vegetarian & fish, but am happy to live with meat eaters. I like socialising, but equally like my alone time. I love exploring in nature with my camera, watching movies, the odd board game. I like a good chat too.
Hi there! My name is Della. I'm a new student to Monash University in 2017 and require a place to live while I do this year at university. I am friendly, clean and generally keep to myself but am always up for a chat. I'm from Orange which is Central West NSW so it's a big move to Melbourne. I am hoping for something preferably in walking distance to the university or not too far by tram
Hi guys, my name is David. I am positive and take responsibility for my surroundings.
