Hi there, My name is Sonya, and i am moving to Melbourne from India for my Masters at Deakin University. I'm a person who likes to keep her place 'presentable' and comfortable enough to live in. I am looking for a furnished place with a private room along with an attached bathroom. I'm respectful of people's personal space and their belongings, pay bills on time and always willing to lend a helping hand around the house when I can. My culinary skills aren't the best (even though I love my food), but definitely look to dutch in with the groceries and other expenses pertaining to the house. I love playing board games, and I'm a sport enthusiast. I have absolutely no problem with friends coming over as long as i get my privacy. I also am very fond of cats and dogs, so having a pet at home would be a plus !
I’m 21 years old, medical receptionist in Glen Iris 4 days a week full time and an ABA therapist in Murrumbeena 2 days a week. Drive a small car. Go to the gym. Very clean and organised person to live with. Very positive, outgoing and open minded. Happy to do my own thing but also love a drink and a chat on any night of the week. Enjoy cooking. Love going out on the weekends.
I am a 27 year old working professional and I am looking for a place in an existing home or to team up with a like minded individual to make a home. By 'home', I mean a place we can come to relax and unwind after work, a place that is clean and comfortable, with a warm and friendly housemate (or 2) that like to have a chat and share a meal occasionally. Although I love to have a good relationship with my housemate, I also value privacy and would expect the same. In my spare time I am either working out, meeting friends or having fun with my pup. He is a small, house trained dog who has been with me in my past two rentals without an issue. He comes with a great reference letter from previous landlord too. He is completely non shedding, so you get to have all the doggo fun, without getting covered in fur! If you think you have a place for me, or if you'd like to team up, please let me know! Looking forward to hearing from you.
I have a degree in Cultural Studies and Theatre. I have previously worked in Sydney for 3 months as an administrative intern and volunteered at RSPCA! I have now been accepted to Monash (Caulfield campus) for a Masters degree. I’ve had a roommate for 3 years before this. I’m a very considerate person, I’ve travelled a lot and I’m open minded. I am a smoker but I’ve lived with people who don’t smoke, so I know how it is and will not smoke in the house! I have a lot of clothes but I keep spaces as clean and tidy as possible. I’d like to get a cat once I move to Melbourne, but finding a place to live is my first priority. I’m somewhere in between an introvert and extrovert, I’m great at banter but also good at reading situations and respecting people’s privacy. I like reading, painting, crafts, drinking, hiking, going to the beach, galleries, museums, films, plays, meeting new people and exploring spaces. Message if you’re interested in housing me :)
Professional Male looking to rent in the city or surrounds. Working in the CBD and over the daily commute to and from home, so I'm looking for somewhere clean and friendly to call home during the working week. I'm House Trained, Very Tidy and Respectful.
Hey! I'm a 22 year old student at Monash University, studying at the Clayton campus. I'm currently on exchange in Stockholm and am looking for a place to move into when I return to Melbourne in July. I love playing footy and hanging out with friends, I enjoy going out but also am respectful of other housemates and their preferences! I would be looking for easygoing, fun housemates as I believe this suits my personality best. Obviously being away at the moment I am unable to meet in person but would be more than happy to arrange a Skype call/Facetime so we can make sure its a good suit for all of us. Feel free to ask me any questions you have!
Hi I'm Victor, 25 from Stockholm, Sweden. I'm a law student attending Deakin University for a trimester. I'm really looking forward my time in Melbourne, I have only been visiting the city once a few days back in 2013 when I backpacked the east coast. I would prefer to share a flat with people not speaking Swedish, to get the most out of my stay. And also to make new connections. I would say I'm an outgoing, respectful and open minded person. I am a responsible clean/organised housemate. I love to cook and hang out over drinks and food. I would prefer to stay at one place during my time in Melbourne and my stay is founded by student aid and of course a lot of savings. Hope to hear from you!
I am easy going, polite and pretty neat and tide. I currently rent a house which I have fully furnished with all my own furniture, so any potential housemates would only need there own bedroom furniture as I have all white goods (fridge, washer, dryer, dishwasher). But any additional furniture is more than welcome I am also a bit of a fitness fanatic, and a nerd at the same time. I have lived in share houses for over 6 years so I'm pretty easy going with most all types of people, and can have a chat with practically anyone. I am ideally looking for someone else looking for a place around this area who we can rent a house/large apartment together. would prefer someone late 20's or 30's but I am flexible on that
Hi I am studying at Monash University. I am a non-smoker and dont have any pets. I am a very tidy person, quiet and non-party person. I am also open for teaming up with other students and people to look or move into a new house. Also flexible with the duration of stay as well.
Hi there, My name is Anj, I'm 27 years old and working full time in marketing. I have been living in share houses for over 6 years and am looking to move with like-minded people of a similar age to me :) I'm clean and tidy, I'll be bringing my own vacuum with me which I'm happy for you to use as a house vacuum, I'm respectful of people's personal space and their belongings, pay bills on time and always willing to lend a helping hand around the house when I can. Most importantly, I'm looking for a place where I can feel part of a man-made housemate family rather than feeling like I'm renting a room. I enjoy coming home at the end of a working day and having a chat with my housemates in the lounge room or going to the beach or somewhere with housemates on weekends in summer or going out for brunch and coffee. I'm also preferably after a room that's unfurnished, not near the front door ideally (since I'm a light sleeper! :( ) and I have a few kitchen items I can contribute however I'm willing to give them away/throw them out if you already have ample kitchen stuff. If I sound normal-ish so far and would like me to come have a look at a place, please let me know :) Thanks, Anj
I am a registered nurse originally from Spain and currently living in Melbourne. I consider myself a laid back person and I enjoy the music and arts culture offered in Melbourne. I consider myself very neat and tidy. I am used to living alone so doing household chores is normal for me. I love to watch movies at home too (especially horror). I would love to share a flat with females preferably and get to know people from different backgrounds. I am an open-minded person and I embrace all cultures, genders and religions. I love animals too. Hope to be your flatmate soon!
Hi I'm Zaya, a laid back full-time worker from Perth, who loves cooking, quiet nights in watching movies, going to live music gigs, writing, and reading. I'm a pretty easy going and very clean person who respects other's privacy. Ideal renting place would have a furnished bedroom and (if I'm super lucky) an ensuite. But I'm not too fussed. Only must is easy access to public transport, as I don't drive. My current lease will be ending mid-July, so I'm looking for a place that will be available from end of June or start of July. Thanks :)
Hello Everyone! I'm a courteous housemate who mainly keeps to myself, however, I'm not one to shy away from friendly banter or flat bonding. I love to keep a clean environment at home to chill out in. I love animals, so would be fine moving in somewhere that has pets... I would prefer not to live with children, or students who are frequent "partiers". I am looking for a place to live long-term with stable flatmates who may occasionally like to watch a film, or bake etc. I would like to move into a flat before I'm due to start full-time work on the 5th of June. Not really sure what else to say besides I'm reliable and have had previous flatting experience. Also, I do not have many possessions, so will not move a wave of clutter in along with me. Call me any time and leave a message if I do not answer -. (Fully furnished room with a double bed is preferred)
Hey I hope you all doing fine I will be coming to the most livable city in this July to start a new phase of my life, I will be studying at Monash uni for my masters. I'm from India but I don't smell like curry ( don't worry I checked ) I like to party fun to be around and I don't create a mess and my friend is doing a culinary course so we can force her to cook us a good meal :)
I am a student, I'm moving for study. I'm from Adelaide where I've lived in a bunch of lovely places - I'm not a share house novice! Non-smoker, tidy. I love buying flowers even though I can't afford them. I can cook.
We are a couple from Argentina. We like share diferences about our culture, our country. We were living in Sydney one year, so we have references. We are tidy and no smoker. Easy going people to live with

Hi there, I'm Larisa! I'm currently doing a Masters degree in publishing and am also working part-time in hospitality. I'm looking for a new home that's a little bit closer to the city, as I'm there for uni a few days a week. I'd love to move into a place with some flatmates who are tidy and respectful, but also keen to have a wine (or two) or watch some Netflix! When I'm not studying or working, I love to binge watch tv shows, read, dance, and bake (and yes, I do share food!).
