Hi I'm Chrissy! I'm moving up to Canberra from Melbourne for a graduate position in the APS and looking for a share house. I have lived in share houses for the past 4 years, so I understand different house dynamics, rules and boundaries. I am a clean and respectful housemate, who is happy to hang out and chat, or do my own thing. I spend my down time usually binging televisions and podcasts, reading books, and baking (which I love to share!). I am looking forward to meeting new people and exploring Canberra and its surrounds.
Hi future flatmates! I am a working professional from Brisbane who is relocating to Canberra in 2018 for a graduate role with the APS. I am looking forward to moving down and hoping to find a great place to stay. I believe that I would be a great flatmate because I am friendly, clean and respectful. I love having a good time and socialising but also understand the need for personal space and privacy. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, a quiet night in reading, video games, social sport (basketball, tennis, badminton, futsal) and trying my hand at new things. I am looking forward to meeting new people and exploring Canberra.
I work full time for Federal Government and I've been in Canberra since Feb this year. I am single, I stick to my room and am a considerate, and clean housemate. I'm a musician and a gamer, however I won't play music loudly unless you're not home. I don't eat meat. I have the most beautiful, gentle and sweet adult cat, who is impeccably trained and thus is easy to live with. I also have a 9 month old kitten, who is a total sweetheart. I keep a tidy home. I love coffee and do enjoy a drink, but I don't host any parties. I'm serious about having a place with good internet, air conditioning and heating. Importantly, I'm willing to do all the ground work to find a pet friendly house that isn't too far from Civic. Ideally I am looking for a housemate that is around my own age or older. If you feel like we'd work as housemates, please do not hesitate to contact me.
My name is Mel, I’m 28 and looking to move to Canberra in January to start a new job as a junior doctor. I don’t know many people in Canberra so it would be great to make some new friends and I’m looking forward to exploring the world’s 3rd finest city! I’m easy-going, social and neat, enjoy catching up over a wine or two and watching Netflix but also respect people's space. I enjoy good food, like being active and try to get outside as much as possible. My job will probably involve some shift work at times so I might need to sleep odd hours occasionally.. Let me know if you think I'd be a good fit for your place!
Hi, My name is Nicollette, I am an easy going 21-year-old female who will be working full time as a registered nurse and looking for a place to stay (All female) for roughly one year. I am clean and tidy but not overly pedantic. I’m always up for a chat, dinner or drinks, not a big party person either and respectful of others personal space. I will also be bringing a small budgie-sized bird with me who won’t be any trouble :) I am looking to move in early February so please send me a message if interested.
We are both ANU medical students with busy lives, who have been housemates for two years. We are respectful, quiet, communicative and great at sharing duties around the house. We'll stay out of your hair, but love the occasional housemate dinner. We have lots of experience living with people from all walks of life, and get along well with just about anyone. When we're not studying, Will likes acting and Phoebe enjoys a round of golf.
Hi! I'm a 25yr old female moving down from QLD to Canberra to start work at the Canberra hospital in early January, and my boyfriend is late 20's working in the design field. We are quiet, respectful and tidy and have lived together for 3 years, and always had at least one roommate and gotten along well. We are down to earth and respectful of personal space, but also more than happy to hang out for a drink or check out events on the weekends. We are very independent and don't live in each other's pockets! Please let me know if you think you have something that could suit, time is of the essence!
I'm a 22yo female student about to commence a 9 month radiography placement. I am a clean and tidy person and considerate of others in shared living spaces. I am easy going, enjoy an active lifestyle and socialising with friends. The 9 months needed for accommodation could be indefinite if work is offered to me upon completion of my placement.

I'm a 27 year old public servant, currently on leave to complete a Master of Social Work but will be returning to full-time hours in January. I have a small dog (Mr Miyagi - a toy japanese spitz) and I am an occasional wildlife carer of pouched joeys. When I'm not taking my doggie for a walk, you'll find me either at the gym; watching Game of Thrones/Netflix; doing a touch of gardening, or baking cupcakes. I would love to share with someone who I could share the occasional movie with, and ideally become good friends. I am reasonably open to location given the right flatmate, but would prefer the south side.
I'm originally from Melbourne but have lived in Canberra for a couple years. Currently studying Actuarial Studies at ANU and working as a financial analyst. I'm super chill and very easy going. I'm a very social guy who loves playing sport and spending time outdoors. Will be happy to hangout with housemates from time to time and share a meal or have a drink. Also understand and value the importance of giving everyone their own personal space. I clean up after myself and will pull my fair share of the household chores.
Hi I'm Rajbir, North Indian female looking for single room for my self. Currently I'm living in Sydney, working full time and moving to Canberra by 1st of January 2018. I'm a non- smoker, very tidy and organised person, respect the privacy of others. Thanks
I work full time in Childcare while I am finishing my Diploma in Early Childhood Education online. As well as that I am studying at Canberra Makeup Academy 2 nights a week to complete a Diploma in Screen and Media Makeup. I love to cook and eat food, I attend a fitness studio 5 nights a week as well so I am pretty healthy. For fun I like to listen to music, go out with friends to dinner, have some drinks and even go party once in a while. I attend music festivals throughout the year as well.
I have lived, worked and studied in more than 4 continents. Loved exploring every inch of the culture and history's of the countries I was residing in. Now working in a field that combines my passions and skills into one and I can make a significant difference in society. In my spare time, I am often hiking, riding my mountain bike, surfing or playing a round of golf. I like to meet new people and hear their unique adventures via a well-prepared curry. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Jack
I'm friendly and open to new people, I keep clean and have a beautiful pup who I am training. I am busy with work and study so also spend time out of the way.

I'm new to Canberra as a grad in 2018 and looking for fun, sociable people to be my roommates! I'm a super neat person, I like to cook and am big on Kmart home decor. I'm a huge fan of drinking wine on the couch and watching movies, as well as going to museums and art galleries (but only the free ones). I'm also from Brisbane so you may have to listen to me complain a bit during the winter, Looking for roommates that are keen to be friends/actually spend some time together, but give each other space when we want!

Hi, I am looking at moving to Canberra around mid to late January to start a full time Nursing postition at the Canberra Hospital. I am a fun, outgoing kind of person who is respectful of others around me and there belongings. I’m a quite kind of person who loves watching tv, catching up on all the sports and don’t mind a beer and a bet here and there. Hi! I’m working full time in Woden and studying part time. In my spare time I like to cook or do some gardening but mostly just relax with my cat Minnie. I have lived in share houses before so I know to be respectful of everyone and don’t mind a chat once in a while. I’m open to pretty much anywhere in Canberra. I would prefer a room with an ensuit so no one has to share a bathroom with a cat. I won’t be needing the room until Feb 2018 but if something comes up I’m more then happy to arrange something ☺️
I’m Haynes, 23 years old, and from Melbourne! I’m working full-time in the APS (in Barton) and I’m looking to move closer to the city. As it's my first time living in Canberra, I’m keen to explore new venues/bars/restaurants and see what the city has to offer. I'm a very respectful, tidy and happy housemate who loves to be social but can also respect others personal space. I don't have any pets or dependents & I'm interested in securing long-term accommodation. Things I like: - Food festivals - Films - Good coffee (basically a pre-requisite to living in Melbourne) - 80’s music - Reading - Hiking/jogging - Cycling Ideally I'm looking for my own room in a friendly house. I’m interested in a long-term rental close to the city or universities – but I’m flexible. Shoot me a message, I’d love to hear from you.
I'm moving from Adelaide for work. I'm non-smoker looking to live in a smoke-free environment I love dogs but unfortunately don't have one I enjoy baking but need people to help me eat the cakes I make! I love going on weekend trips and can't wait to explore the East Coast in Summer and the snow fields in winter Looking for chilled housemates who are happy to hang out every now and then
I'm a friendly person who likes hanging out with others but also enjoys being a bit of a homebody. I'm generally pretty organized and neat. I love playing video games, reading and doing some crafting. I also love pets though I have none myself so I would welcome the opportunity to be a part of a household with animals. I'll be moving up to Canberra in January 2018 from Melbourne to join an APS graduate program so I'll be working full time. I'm looking forward to exploring Canberra but also to catching up on my Netflix queue, I've been so busy this year I have lots to catch up on! I would bring my own bedroom furniture e.g. bed, side table etc. Move in date is flexible, anytime mid-late January or early February. I would also be willing to consider leases between 6 months and a year.

My partner and I are responsible young adults looking to move out for the first time. We are both currently students at Lake Tuggeranong College (we will be finished by the start of December). My partner has a full time job and I am currently looking for one. We are tidy, non-smokers and we are more than happy to be social with flatmates. I don’t tend to login to this website very much and I don’t pay for it so if you’d like to team up and start a new sharehouse or if you think you have the perfect house for Ben and I, please message me and I'll give you my number. Thanks everyone!
