Hi, My name is Nicollette, a 21-year-old female looking for a place to stay for roughly one year. I have moved up from Sydney to work at Canberra hospital to work full-time. I am relaxed, social, clean/tidy and an easy going person. I enjoy cooking, outdoors, drawing and Netflix and am always up for a chat or to share a meal! I am preferably looking for an all female flat but will options others as well. Also interested in team-ups, preferably female, to move into a house/apartment. I am looking to move between now and the Mid-March. Message me if you interested :)
Hey guys! My name is Cheyanne, I’m 23 and moved up to Canberra a couple of years ago from little old bega. I’m looking for a room with like mined people. I work at Mawson primary school so the closer the better! I like to think of myself as super colourful, bubbly, outgoing person who can bring laughter into any household :) I would ideally like to have a ‘family’ dinner and a few bevos regularly with my housemates but I also like my own space and alot of the time while at home I’ll be studying or doing my art. I’ve lived in share houses before and know what’s expected, I’m very respectful of others property and space :) I clean as I go and like to live in a clean house but I’m not over the top haha im happy to live with males or females (and any animals!) and I will need a medium to large room to fit all my art and craft stuff, as I have an online store and do markets most weekends (extra storage would be a plus!) I smoke when I drink but that’s rarely and always outside of course. Please message me for anymore details! Ready to move in anytime within the next couple of weeks :) Thanks for reading!
Postgraduate student doing environmental studies in ANU but also working part-time in retail at Woden Westfield. Easygoing and super friendly. Open-minded and respectful person. Fascinate about trying new things and experiencing adventures of life. Love all kinds of outdoor activities but also a fan of movies and TV series. Current housemates accredited ideal housemate type. Searching for good homes to move in sooner or later before May 2018. I have a car and a bike, so parking availability is essential.
I am a quiet person. I don't go out much or have many people over. I am out of the house around 9-6 weekdays. Usually away every second weekend seeing family. I am pretty tidy. I don't leave dishes around the place or random bits and bobs.
Hey, I'm Cameron. I'm working full time as an electronics engineer in Canberra's East, and looking for somewhere to call home. I've been living in a sharehouse interstate for the last 5 or so months and you will find me to be friendly, respectful, and easy to get along with (and I welcome you to get one of my current housemates to vouch for that - just ask). I'll keep the place reasonably tidy and pitch in for chores. I like enough of my own space, and respect that you probably do to, but otherwise tend to be up for a chat, even over a few drinks or a shared meals from time to time. I enjoy nerdy stuff like books and board games, but I also enjoy good conversations, getting out among some good scenery, and am keen to get out and explore our illustrious capital. So what am I after? I'd like to be within 20 minutes drive of work, 30 max (and obviously somewhere to park my car). Bonus points if I can cycle within 30-40 minutes too. (Preferred suburbs above are a guide only!) I'm after housemates who are easy to get along with, respectful, reasonably tidy, and will respect my need for enough of my own space and privacy. That said, I'm keen to live somewhere at least somewhat homely, so after housemates who want to hang out or just stop for a chat sometimes too. It's important that I meet (or at least talk to) all of the current housemates first. Also, I'm not interested in sharing with any couples (sorry!). As advertised, I'm after about 6 months, but there's a reasonable chance I'll look to stay for longer. The house will be big enough that I am able to have space from other people when I need it - whether or not much of that space is in my room. I also have my own bedroom furniture. Like what you see, but more questions? Don't hesitate to ask!
Hi there, I will move to Canberra from Sydney for study and work within one week. I am looking for one or two females/couples to share with. I am a easy going and friendly person. I like to make friends, and chat with people. I wish we can become good friends to hang out together and can look after each other. But I do respect privacy at the same time. I am a quiet person, but do enjoy hiking, bbq, yoga and other outdoor activities. I have a five-year old Bichon Frise (small dog). If you do not mind, he will come with me. My boyfriend has to stay in Sydney to work, but he will fly to Canberra every weekend and stay 2-3 days with me. I am a tiny person. My interests are swimming, watching movies, travelling, and reading. I have no friends in Canberra, if you go to Canberra under the same situation, we can help and look after each other.
I am a friendly year 11 student looking for share accommodation preferably close to Canberra college. I am Respectful, easigoing and clean. I love to chat, and I am also mindful of personal space. I am heavily involved in scouting and very creative. I am happy two help out where I can, and don't like to sit around all day. I am very open minded and accepting of all people. :) I am completely independent and responsible for myself. (In other words, you won't need to stress over the age factor)
Hey! I am a young health professional working full time Monday to Friday. I have lived in Canberra for four years. I enjoy some quiet time alone but also love a good chat, glass of wine/beer or cup of tea as well as an adventure. I enjoy keeping active and playing sport, as well as going out for brunch or dinner on the weekend. Ideally, I would like to be able to find an unfurnished room with my own bathroom/ensuite. I am also open to teaming up with someone to find a new home! I am clean, tidy and respectful of others.
Hi, I'm David and I work full time as a public servant. I like my own space and relaxing with music and movies. I'm respectful of others and have been a valued tenant. I'll be working on the south side of Canberra and as I don't have a car at the moment, I want something that involves less than an hour on the bus each way. I'm easy to get along with, enjoy the company of friends and am used to pulling my weight on the household chores front.
Hello! I am a recent high school graduate and have just moved to Canberra from Sydney to work here as an Apprentice in the public service for IT. I am of South Korean background and moved to Australia when i was younger. Currently I am staying with my sister while I find a place to move out to. I am very self aware and i actually enjoy cleaning up after self. I also enjoy company and definitely look forward to meeting new people and spending time together but i also understand and appreciate the need for privacy and time alone.
Hi, I am a 20yo male looking for a room to rent. I work full time and am usually not at home too much. I don't take myself too seriously and get along well with most people. I'm Looking for a relaxed atmosphere and I am happy to live with anyone else. Hobbies include spearfishing, going to the gym and gaming. I have rented before and respect others tenants wishes in regards to cleanliness, noise etc.
Hey my name is Alex. I am 23 and working full time as an electrician. I love going to the gym and looking after my car. Love dogs and looking to get out of home and have fun with a few like-minded mates.
I am 22 year old female, moving from Sydney to Canberra to join the public service. I am clean, respectful and sociable. I enjoy cooking (so you can expect lots of home cooked meals), reading and watching TV/Movies. I love my alone time but also love a good chat. I am looking to share an amazing home with equally amazing people.
Hi! I'll just cover the little suggestion box points, and see if that works. I'm Kyle, I moved here nearly two years ago with my partner, we've been separated a few months, and I'm looking to downscale my rental spending. When at home, I'll be relaxing. Immediately changing in to comfy clothing and sitting at my computer, nerding it up. That's not to say I don't love hangouts, I do! And It'd be great to have a housemate(s) to be pals with, as I don't have many friends here yet. My working background is Teaching Creative Industries (Film & TV, Photography) and also I.T. Now though, I work for ACT Gov, at the Community Services Directorate. I'm in the branch that handles training and education for employees, and I manage the learning system and make E-learning programs, educational videos and promotional content. I travel back to Melbourne sporadically to see my friends and family there, and I also help people out of film projects as a side-hobby. Though much less of that happens here now due to the day-job. I do have a few people here that I go out with, or stay in with. But realistically, I'm pretty low impact. Except for my cats. They're my world. And I'm sure they'll be my curse here, trying to get somewhere else to live. One is shy, and you won't see her for at least a month. The other is quite friendly, and he won't leave you alone the second you give in and pass him a potato chip. They're not bad cats, but if you have any small chew-able items on a shelf, the boy is going to put it in his mouth. I'm happy to be honest and elaborate about them both, but I don't think this is the right box for it? Anyway. Thanks for reading!
I'm 26, moving from Adelaide to Canberra for work. I am sociable and keen for a chat over some wine, but respect the privacy of others and am looking for similar housemates. I'll be working full time but will be planning a few weekend trips to the snow and the beach!

hey guys, I'm from country WA and will be moving to Canberra soon to start a career in the emergency services. I've lived in share houses for the last 5 years so i know how to keep my area (and the rest of the place) clean and respect others privacy. as a housemate, I'm a pretty relaxed and flexible guy who enjoys catching up with housemates and going on the occasional adventure on weekends. I'm also partial to a beer or two but not huge on house parties these days. In my spare time I like to keep active, be it AFL, tennis, cycling or surfing and i'm always happy to have others join in. it does mean that i have a bit of gear to store so a garage or shed at the house would be preferable. I'm looking to share with people in their 20's with male and female flatmates preferably. hopefully some of this has grabbed your interest and i look forward to moving to Canberra soon!
I'm a graduate doctor who will be interning at Canberra Hospital starting this year. I am from Malaysia and this is my first time to Canberra. I have visited other parts of Australia namely Melbourne - spent a few months here, Sydney and Brisbane. Australia is a beautiful country that I have come to love and I am excited to embark on a new journey here. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, reading, chilling out, meeting new people, and going for runs. I also like trying out new food and new activities, meeting new people and going on adventures. I try to keep my room and living space neat, keep the noise down and I don't keep pets. I respect your space as much as I would love to open a bottle of wine with my housemates so I am pretty flexible in that area. ;) Looking forward to my days in Canberra! :)
