Hi! We are a friendly, reliable, quiet couple looking for a Granny flat situation in the northern suburbs. We have just moved back to Brisbane from 8 years on Hamilton Island where Adam was a handyman/Gardener/pool tech and I am a swim instructor and international tour manager. We are happy to offer criminal background checks and references. We would love to hear from you! Sincerely, Kim and Adam
Hey! I'm Helene, I'm 18 and hoping to do full time study next year. I am originally from Brisbane but spending the most of 2016 Volunteering my time in Tonga whilst my family live here. I am quite a social person but enjoy my quiet time at home and study. I am easy to get to know and looking to move in somewhere that will be easy for me to get to Uni. My family has moved overseas leaving me to stay in Australia to study on my own, my course for excercise and health science at ACU starts February 2017, I have already spent time living with flatmates for the first 6 months of this year. For fun I like to get out of the house and spend time with friends and participate in sport, And I like to think I am quite a healthy person. Hoping to move in somewhere to start uni in Febuary 2017! P.s non furnished would be ideal! Xx
Hi, I am an allied health professional working full-time in North Lakes. I am pretty quiet and relaxed. My pet is a quiet greyhound and sleeps in the room with me. If noone is at home he would be outside undercover or with access to the garage for shelter. For fun I catch up with friends, walk my dog, play tennis and go to the movies mostly. I am pretty flexible with length of stay; I just put 6 months because I had to choose something. Cara.
Recently seperated, just looking for somewhere to get my 2 kids and i back on our feet. Looking for something short term. Have own transport, can cook, like a tidy house, animal lover and i enjoy craft, especially sewing.
I am a family-oriented, neat and tidy, non-smoking/drinking/partying, people-friendly, caring, responsible person. I'm looking for unfurnished accommodation (1-2 bedrooms) for myself and my 5 years old daughter. She goes to school in Everton Park. We prefer living close to quite streets, single/double story dwelling, a garage/carport for my car. We've been renting since 2012 & is able to provide reference.
Easy going full time working professional (IT / Projects) looking to house share within Brisbane region. Clean and Tidy and social personality but also always respect my flatmates space. Good with pets (especially dogs! lol) and easy working in with flatmates when it comes bill sharing, etc. I commute to CBD daily for work so would be great to find a place close to train lines. Originally from NZ and been in Brisbane for almost 3 yrs now, during the week i'm pretty boring (lol) normally just busy working, gym, and a little study or TV comprises my daily routine, but on weekends love to get out to the Sunshine Coast or GC when is sunny, or hit the local and watch rugby / sports. As mentioned I'm super laid back and respectful as a flatmate, and looking to fit in with a cool bunch who would hopefully end up awesome mates as well as flatties! Feel free to ask me any questions.
I keep out of the way and am busy with my crafts. I am moving back to Australia from New Zealand and will be looking for full time work. Good sense of humour however I like my own company.
I work full time, gym a few times a week and play indoor soccer on Friday nights. My weekends are either insanely busy catching up with family and friends or spent unwinding at home. I enjoy live music and exploring new places. Looking for a clean, tidy, friendly, respectful and social house.
Laid back, tidy, mature, friendly gal looking to share with similar aged people. I work part time in hospitality and spend the rest of my time working on my online business. I am sociable and enjoy a wine and a chat after work but also enjoy my alone time. P.s. as much as it saddens me, i am allergic to cats :(
Hi! I am a recent graduate from QUT looking to start my masters within the year. I work 20-40 hours per week at Westfield Chermside and I'm always either there, on set on productions, at an internship, or in my room writing or watching Netflix (which I have a subscription to and could share with flatmates). I am quiet, I only cook if I know I can clean everything up straight after, and I have a boyfriend of 3 years (so no bringing strangers home!). I currently live on the Sunshine Coast and the commute is killing me. My boyfriend and I would also like to trial living together so it would be great if he could either move in too or if he'd be welcome 2-3 nights per week. He's a great vegan cook, very very clean, and a fantastic singer and guitarist in a touring band (so he can either serenade you over his famous burrito bowls or make himself scarce quite often when the band is travelling Australia and overseas). I am always up for a sneaky vino after work/internship/production and have great respect for everyone which I base on open communication and kindness.
I am a full time veterinary nurse and I think I'm pretty easy to get along with. I enjoy quiet nights when working and a nice cold beer on my days off. My 2 dogs are getting old and they sleep pretty much all day. They are quiet and well behaved. I am happy to give you your own space or have a good chat if you are up for it!
My name is Shelley and I am 22 years old currently studying biomedical science at qut and working part time. I'm clean, tidy, friendly and easy to get along with. I love to socialise but I also respect privacy and during uni I'm very study oriented :)
Fun, energetic person looking for a new roommate to move in to my place at Stafford, or start new tenancy elsewhere from Feb onward. Working in realestate 6 days a week so always busy with work and infrequently around to annoy you. On my days off I am likely to head out somewhere maybe to the beach, maybe out for a sunday sesh. Im a keen cook, when I'm home early enough, but also eat out frequently. Quite simply a busy chick looking for easygoing down to earth roommate that preferably won't try on my underwear while I'm not home. feel free to email me
I'm fairly quiet and a considerate housemate. I have lived with lots of different housemates and moved more times than I care to remember. So I'm very adaptable. I like my own space to just relax but I also enjoy having someone around to have a chat. Certainly enjoy the occasional Friday night wine and getting out of the house on a weekend. Definitely don't party too much anymore but I'm always up for a fun social activity. I like to cook meals during the week and try to eat relatively healthy. Always cook too much so would love a housemate to share a family meal with a few nights a week. Work full time Monday to Friday in Enoggera so looking to stay in the area nearby. During the week I like to keep fit and have sporting commitments 3 to 4 nights a week so would be out most of the time. Would prefer a room not too small with a good sized wardrobe, a little bit of storage sapce and my own bathroom or ensuite would be amazing, but honestly I'm pretty easy so not too picky.
Relocating to Brisbane from Mackay for my work with QLD Health Security (I will be working shift work). I like to live in a clean and tidy environment and I'm easy to live with. Enjoy staying fit, healthy while also like to have the odd drink or two. SPECIFICALLY LOOKING FOR: - Private room - Fully furnished (with a decent sized bed as I am moving from a different town) - Ensuite/own bathroom - A budgeted arrangement will all bills included under $250
Well, this isn't my first rodeo when it comes to house sharing, so I hope I make a good flat mate.... I'm quiet and respectful, clean and tidy, I love to have a good old chat and have a wine or two of an evening with dinner - but I won't be in your face 24/7 and I'd hope you're not in mine. My hobbies include TV watching (various things and definitely some trash TV), hanging out with friends on the weekends (brunnnnnnnch!), drinks on a Friday night and going to the beach most weekends - as an ex-Melbourne girl good beaches are still somewhat of a novelty for me. At the moment I work full time, and in the new year I will be leaving my current job and commencing part time work as I'll be continuing studying (Nursing), so between work and uni 2017 is going to be busy. I come with stuff too if we need it, like a washing machine, fridge, couch and kitchen items, but I'm also happy to find storage for these things if need be. I lovvvvvvvvvvvvve to cook and bake so if you like cookies I'm your girl! In a nutshell I'm looking for someone I can be friends with and live with I'd love to live with someone similar!
Can move in asap with two weeks rent upfront. (and bond if needed) I'm easy going and clean up after myself. Studying science at QUT. I enjoy adventuring outdoors, movies of the sci-fi variety and anything of an artistic nature.

Thanks.

If you have something suitable or would be keen to team up with me, send me a message! :)
Hi there! I'm super keen to make a new start, moving to Brisbane for full-time work and to possibly study on the side ! I come from Toowoomba, I am an outgoing and honest person. I like things super tidy and am a very clean person. I'm willing to take a share in all household jobs. I am seeking my own room, preferably not furnished, and fairly roomy. I would love a built-in robe, but if not, its completely fine. Possibly modern. I am willing to pay up to $190 a week for rent, that including bills. Thankyou, just contact me if you have any questions.

Whilst I enjoy nights out, I'm pretty chilled out and love nights in with wine, cheese and movies. Looking for a nice modern place to share, with chilled out people, but also something that isn't too crowded, and big enough to be able to have your own personal space. Would prefer own bathroom and a bedroom that will fit a queen size bedroom suite with aircon, but willing to do a share bathroom with the right housemates. Also in need of parking as well 😊

I love to bake and make cakes - which is a hobby that I try not to let take over my life. I keep to myself mostly and enjoy the quiet, but I can get quite gabby once you get to know me. I promise not to sing too loud in the shower and I will replace the toilet paper if I see it running low. And on that note - thanks for stopping by!
Hey, My names Talisha or Tee as most people call me. About me; I am 20 (21 at the beginning of next year) I work full time in the city as a Property Manager. I am clean and tidy, i am pretty out-going and am always up for a chat - bonus to you i am NEVER home between my friends and work. My move in date is flexiable. Feel free to message me any questions.
Pretty open about life and tolerance levels are high. But if you are religious we probably won't get along. Officially a contractor to Dexion and will operate out of a storage shed. Part of the production crew at Blend Line TV and can get passionate about motorsport. Gaining an interest in philosophy. Probably a spin off from practicing yoga. Board game enthusiast and likes being around dogs and cats. Likes dog memes. Chases food trucks around Brisbane and is a light drinker. Only speaks about himself in third person when filling out profile descriptions. Prefers unfurnished room. Can provide fridge, dishwasher, lounge room stuff etc.
I am a very tidy and considerate person, I don't like to make a lot of noise. I like to eat healthy and keep fit. I am very outdoorsy, so I am always off on an adventure. I have a cute mini foxy who will sleep outside or inside and has the best personality.
Hey! :) I'm Steph, I'm 28, I work full time and study part time, I'm pretty neat and like a clean and tidy house (as long as the main areas like kitchen and lounge etc are tidy I don't care about your bedroom lol mine is usually pretty messy but that's why there's a door.. to close it and forget about it... haha) :) I'm looking to live either the Northside (Nundah, Aspley, Kelvin Grove, Bridgeman Downs etc) or on the Southside (Springfield Lakes, Augustine Heights, Brookwater, Collingwood Park etc). Ok... so I know a lot of people don't wanna live with a kid but honestly, its really no big deal at all. You can still have friends round etc, nothing would have to change i promise! lol :) My boy is 8 and a half, so he can pretty much look after himself lol He looooves playing xbox and would loooove to have an xbox buddy to play GTA with lol (also no baby daddy drama - not involved). We also have an indoor ragdoll cat named Alice. Shes like a dog and follows you around everywhere and waits at the door when u get home lol she actually loves dogs too, we used to have a beagle and theyd play fight and snuggle up together :) so cute! Anyhoo, I'm looking another person to get a house together, preferably a guy. Obviously we will have to apply for houses so you'd clearly need to be approved on that to live there lol You also must be reliable and pay rent on time, respectful of privacy, the property and of other peoples things, work fulltime and have a stable income, funny, preferably single and around similar age. What is especially important is that you behave appropriately around my son. He needs a good male role model who knows how to respect women etc. I'd prefer a house rather than a unit. It'd be cool if it had a deck and nice yard and maybe even a pool !?! :D (u can be the pool boy lol) and undercover parking (lock up garage) would be ideal :) I have all the furniture already, big leather lounge, tv, dining table, fridge, washing machine, dryer, foxtel (priorities people!) lol and then plates cups blah blah blah :) you'd only need your bedroom stuff really :) I'd also be super keen for a few drinks on a friday or Saturday night to relax and unwind after a busy working week if you are :) I looooove cooking and literally make the best caramel tarts you'll ever eat (i have references for this lol), im pretty easy going, love a good laugh and have a very sarcastic sense of humour. So you'd definitely have to be funny, easy going, down to earth and be able to take a joke lol I love going to the drive in movies, bowling, to the park and the beach and would really love to get a puppy! So if you've already got a dog that's good with kids that'd be so awesome! Anyway, if you're genuinely interested and not just looking for sex, send me a text and we could set up a time to meet to see how we get along :) Hope to hear from you soon :) Ps. NO time wasters. Only serious potential housemates please :) Thanks :)
My name is Samantha I'm 23 and work at eatons hill hotel. I'm looking for a room with my own bathroom and preferably bills included but it's not a deal breaker if there not. I like socialise but also stick to myself. Feel free to ask me anything :)
Born and raised in Birmingham, UK, I am a Exotic Animal Veterinary Surgeon. I'm laid back, relaxed and sociable - but will always do my part to help with the house work. I'm always keen to play sport - especially football, volleyball and capoeira. My other hobby is board gaming. I will be working full time as a Veterinary Surgeon for 6 months in Brisbane during my time in Australia, with the view to travelling afterwards.
Hi, my name is Clare and I am 19 years old. I am studying Primary Education at Australian Catholic College and am looking for somewhere to rent nearby. I am tidy, respectful of privacy and enjoy socialising. I enjoy cooking, spending time with my friends and relaxing in front of my favourite TV shows, and am generally quiet and spend a lot of my spare time studying. I am a non-smoker and enjoy an occasional glass of wine, but am not a huge party goer. I will always pay rent and bills on time and will do my share of cleaning. Looking for preferably female likeminded flatmates :)
Hi :) I'm an easy going music student, I play guitar and sing. But I'm always respectful with my noise. I am studying in south brisbane so I'd like to live within approx 30mins of uni (on public transport), I do also have a car though. Ideally I'd like to find some people that I get along with well, I am good at just keeping to myself, but would prefer to make some friends :) My ideal place would have a fairly large bedroom (I have a fair bit of music gear etc) and a bathroom to myself or one that doesn't have to be shared with too many people. Also my boyfriend lives on the Sunshine Coast and sometimes comes over on weekends so it would be good if the house was okay with that . Thankyou :)
Im a 25 yr old male Working as personal trainer at Goodlife in the city and as of recent Goodlife Chermside. currently looking to move closer to Chermside or surrounding areas I can cook (kinda) haha and i also clean after myself. i spend most of my time either at gym working or at footy on the week nights and weekends.
We would like to find a place in the listed areas with another 1 or 2 additional people, so that we can upgrade to a very nice 5 bedroom house. We consist of one couple, 1 single female and 2 single males. We are quiet, respectful, clean, independent and mature. We can keep to ourselves a lot of the time, since we are all PC gamers, but love to socialise (when or if) people desire to! We live very well together currently at Aspley, but would really like to upgrade with one or two additional people. Please contact me if you would like to join us! :)
I am super chilled and easy to get along with. Can pretty much work with anyone and can sleep through a hurricane so it doesn't matter at all if you want to party i'll probably join in. Am sociable so hit me up if you need a cruisy housemate.
My name is Jeremiah, I am a 19 year old pacific islander male studying at the Queensland University of Technology. I am a neat and tidy person. I am easy to live with and kind and respectable. I am reasonable and responsible and I feel I would be a great person to live with.
Hi! My name is Nicole and my partner and I, and our 7 year old whippet cross sausage dog, Marley, are looking for a room to rent. I am currently unemployed. I gave up work to become my mother's full time carer when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Prior to that I worked at Nandos for almost 6 years. I am looking at getting back into the workforce soon enough though. Stuart works as a painter (walls and ceilings etc, not the canvas sort of painter) and is fully employed. We are both friendly people, can cook, and neat and tidy. Stuart has a somewhat dry sense of humour and I tell him often that he is not as funny as he thinks he is... He disagrees :) He is also more apt at fixing things than I am, from leaky taps to servicing our car and as he's nearly a foot taller than me, he doesn't need to stand on a chair to change a light bulb and he is a good spider killer too. Marley is friendly also though pretty meek but if you give her a ball she will never leave you alone! Some days she drives me barmy! I also have a 14 year old daughter who resides with her father down the gold coast. I would like her to be able to visit on the occasional weekend if it wouldn't be inconvenient to you and when she can fit it into the oh so busy social schedule of a teenage girl. We are looking for something that will see us through Christmas/ New year with the hopes of finding something more permanent early in the new year, however we can get on with our house mates we may never leave, or you may not want to get rid of us!! Thanks!
We're both people who like to keep things clean and orderly. We like to have roommate hangouts. We like board games, movies and just being chill with everyone. One of us is still studying in university while the other is starting work after having recently finished university. We would like to have house meals (cause we'll be doing that, and the more the merrier) and to support and be there for each other as roommates (and hopefully as friends down the road). Our criteria for a location is somewhere that isn't far from public transport to CBD area and within walking distance to a Coles/Woolies/Aldi. We're okay with moving anywhere within 2-3 zones out from the CBD, so our list of locations definitely does not cover everywhere. Our max budget per person would be $150 per week max (hence $300 in the listing) though our ideal amount would fall somewhere around 100-120 per week. We would like it best if utilities and internet are included in the rent amount or at least add up to our max amount. We don't have pets but wouldn't mind living with pets so long as they are being taken care of properly.
I am happy go lucky person, very easy going personality, positive, great sense of humour, neat and tidy. I am looking for a fully furnished house and furnished room with bed and built in wardrobe. I have a beautiful lovely companion my dog very well behaved and fully house trained. I need fully fenced secure backyard.
I am considerate of other people, no noise before 8:30 am or after 9:30 pm when I use my headphones,... I enjoy cleaning and respect other people's property. I am honest and reliable with bills and am a dedicated classical/jazz pianist/guitarist and composer. I do huge concerts for worthy causes, and love sci fi and am writing a novel. I'm not up myself and enjoy a laugh and love people.
I am a social person who likes a chat, but I also value my privacy and quite downtime. I have been living in share accommodation for the past 4 months, and believe that I am a tidy and easy going person to live with. I am currently in between jobs, but am actively looking for work, I am currently on Centrelink payments. While I am 17, I will turn 18 in January. I have been told that I am mature for my age, which my current housemates would agree with.
I am neat and tidy, mature, quiet and flexible. I have moved back to Queensland after working in Canberra and Melbourne for many years. I am not currently in a relationship so will be looking for accommodation only for myself. I am very dependable and honest.
Hi! My name is Kieran. I'm a 36 year old professional working male looking to share with one other professional working person (sorry no couples). OK so here's the deal... I'm looking to move from my current area as I want to be closer to the city. I did some exploring around Brisbane suburbs (without a car - as I don't have one now but will look to buy in next 6 months) and found that the Nundah/Toombul area best fits my requirements. I like the fact that everything is right there close (train, shops, cafes etc). If I can't find anything suitable in Nundah/Toombul. I will also consider the areas of Sherwood, Oxley, Fairfield, Toowong, Indooroopilly and Michelton (which meet most of my criteria). So please give me a shout if you have something in those areas! I'm very reliable and rent and bills will always be paid on time or in advance. I will supply you with references from my current landlord and previous landlords (if required). I have a stable income. I do freelancing work from home and have done this for the last 5 years. Please note I only work between the hours of 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. I am not loud but rather quiet (if you are home at that time). I'm not on the phone all the time as most of my work is writing based (proofreading/copy-editing). I don't mind if you have pets as long as they are well behaved. LOOKING FOR: - 2 Bedroom place with decent size bedroom and living area. NOT LOOKING FOR: - Place with Lots of lawn. A little bit might be ok. In summer the maintenance just becomes too much. - Party House or Noisy One. I need the peace and quiet most of the time. ESSENTIALS: - Must be 12 minute walk max to train station. Buses are good but prefer trains. - Room must fit a standard size desk (which I have). - Air conditioning. Ideally in all rooms. I understand it's expensive and I don't plan to use it much but I need it there for those warm Brisbane summer nights. - Reliable and Fast (doesn't have to be lightning!) Internet Connection. My income depends on this. At my current property there has been problems with the connection at times which is a real negative. To summarise: I'm looking for reliability (uptime) over speed (but of course the speed must be reasonable). - Parking (either reliable street parking or even better lock up garage). - Partly Furnished (TV, Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine at least). I don't mind chipping in for other stuff. At the moment for my bedroom I have a standard size desk and can get access to a queen size bed if the room doesn't have one. BONUS: - If the room has an ensuite or separate bathroom it would be good. - Ceilings fans are always good (in addition to air con). BIT ABOUT ME: - I like the gym, walks near the water, tennis, football, nature, travelling, reading, writing, self-improvement, online marketing, restaurants, socialising, and coffee. - I'm a social person but I'm definitely more on the quiet side. I'm not big on TV at all so don't expect me to join you on the couch watching it. I don't mind the news and a bit of sport though. I just find you learn more by reading. - I do all of my socialising with friends outside of the flat/property but don't mind if you have people over. - I'm not a vegetarian. I cook my own meals as have my own diet I need to follow. - I'm straight and single currently. - I'm open to living with people of all cultures and sexuality. - I have lived and worked in Sydney, London and Melbourne previously. Please give me a shout if you have something that will fit my main criteria or if you have any questions for me. I haven't listed my phone number but I'm very responsive to messages. I'm flexible on the move in date as I currently have a place where I can leave at any time. Thanks for your time. Kieran

Hi! I am Alex, a 20 year old student and work full time. I study psych at ACU, and work in Youth work, so am away about 3 night a week. I am an experimental cook (sometimes it goes well, sometimes it doesn't...). I love getting up early for gym, and going to yoga, and trying to grow plants then giving up! I like a tidy home, but am no neat freak. Generally easy going. I am often exhausted on week days and will be quiet in my room, but would like a nice relationship with the people I live with and love a quiet drink here or there. I'm not interested in a party house, but obviously a home is somewhere you should feel comfortable and having people over is fine. Feel free to message me for more information!
