Hi, I’m looking to join an existing sharehouse or start one. I’ve been lazily lurking here awhile to see what’s what, but I’m now getting my butt into gear and am actively looking. I’m a non-smoker and am looking for a non-party household. I’m fairly tidy and enjoy a good book, Netflix, going out for coffee and food, Reddit, YouTube and video games. I’m a night owl but I don’t make too much noise. I enjoy a good movie night or family dinner every so often. I manage a retail store at Westfield Belconnen currently and am looking for full-time professionals or reliable students to share with. I’m keen to make a home, not just a house. I’d prefer to live with 1-3 women in their 20s/early 30s but am flexible. I’m okay with including a guy in our house too. If we’re starting a sharehouse, I’d love to get a newer place with larger rooms and a bit of light, but obviously with uni starting back the competition is stiff right now. I come with bedroom furniture and random other bits and pieces for the common areas, though I can get rid of them too if necessary. Shoot me a message to meet up/show me a room. Cheers, Scarlett
Hi. I'm Sarah. I'm 21 years old, and I'm looking for like-minded people to live with. I am a chill, friendly, easy-going person to live with. I am tidy, respectful and I enjoy a good household hang out. I am a musician (flute, piano, guitar and vocals), and I love attending live gigs wherever possible. I also really enjoy cooking (for myself and for others). I love films, pop culture and reading. I spend a lot of my free time reading, or watching Netflix. I am a newly converted (wannabe) gym nut. I am focusing on getting healthy and being active. I have an 8 year old White Russian cat named Milo who I would absolutely love to bring along.
Try my best to keep to myself with studying and working 2 jobs, teaching and entertaining kids, but definitely down for a chat. Don't mind what you eat but I'm vegan myself so I go through quite a few bananas and tubs of hummus. Don't have pets myself but would love yours!
Hey, Im Caity, I'm 24 and I have a lab/border collie mix Buster. Im a fairly active person and am looking to get fit after returning from a year and a half overseas. I'm clean, and easy to live with. I love a social house and will rarely turn down a glass of wine. 😊
I am a clean and tidy, friendly, easy going, relaxed housemate that is just as happy to socialize as well as do my own thing. Looking for a new place to move in to as soon as possible for at least several months while I am trying to sell my house and buy a new one. I haven't rented for a while but I am always reliable with all rent and bills. I am a builder and have a ute and trailer that I need to be able to park safely and a few tools that I would like to store in the corner of a lock up garage if possible.
I am a paralympic athlete who is studying a teaching degree. I have a pretty planned out routine, i like to eat and i nap a lot. I'm a friendly, but quiet person and enjoy having people around to chill out with.
Hey! I'm Lachie :) I'm an easy going, 22 year old uni student studying Environmental Science. I am just trying to live the most fulfilling life that I possibly can. I love staying fit and active by riding my bike, practicing yoga and getting over to the coast for an occasional surf.
I am a tidy person to live with. I am friendly and always up for a chat. I work part time at the moment with two jobs. Ive lived in Canberra my whole life and would love to experience living out of home. I love to cook and bake and go for walks. I would prefer to live north side Canberra as it would be more convenient for work and visiting family
I am full time professional, non smoker, easy going person. I am an outgoing and independent person who enjoys sharing an occasional meal, wine, good conversational and chat with my housemates. I like walking and cycling and play hockey on the weekend. I am happy to share in household chores and like keeping the shared house areas clean.
I'm an ANU student studying physics and economics, currently working part-time at a leisure center. I'm used to busy youth hostels and shared accommodation situations when traveling, have a huge respect for privacy, am very relaxed, and enjoy cooking! I'm a huge arts lover, so I guarantee you'll never have a shortage of solid movie and music recommendations. Enjoy contemplating life, chatting about space exploration, or just chilling over drinks? I'm your guy. Moved from Washington DC, US after graduating high school early 2015, and am accepting the inevitable broke university-student-life in Canberra. I'm looking for similarly-aged people to share somewhere close to either Belconnen Center or ANU, but am interested in joining existing housemates if you're looking for one!
Hey there! My names Joel. My girlfriend and myself are looking for a place for the next 6months or so before we move to Melbourne! A little bit about us both! I work full time at rebel sport and lily is a manager of a swim school. We're very clean and tidy and don't believe in public display of affection so we'll never make anyone feel uncomfortable! Anything else you would like to know please feel free to message me Thanks :)
Im Amy, I'm 21 years old and about to start my third year at the ANU (: I'm looking for a laid-back but tidy house, and would love to be living with people who are happy to be mates and have a chat, come on a coast-trip or to accompany me on a late-night Kmart run. Obviously though time alone is also super important and I am understanding and respectful of that. I'm completely happy to answer any questions, so please feel free to send me a message any time (:
Hi everyone I just moved to Canberra from Indonesia to study Master of International Relations at ANU. I am currently staying in a temp place and looking for a room to rent for a year or longer. I enjoy movies, cooking, being outdoors and in adventures. I quit smoking, generally dont drink but i dont mind occasional drinking or being around smokers and i do clean after myself. I respect personal space and privacy just as much as I enjoy being in a company of friends and as an international student i am more than happy to make friends with anyone.
Hi all, I'm a teacher who's recently returned to post-grad study, and I will be moving to Canberra to make the most of the benefits of being on-campus. I'm very easy-going and happy to do my own thing but also don't mind a chat in the evenings. I've been living in sharehouses for the past 10 years in Sydney and am very adaptable, clean, tidy and considerate of others' personal space. I love to cook, grow veges, read and watch netflix. I also love riding my bike, bushwalking, sailing, making a fool of myself at beginner dance classes and generally getting out and about. I have lots of kitchen appliances, but not much furniture. Looking for an easy-going household with people who like their own space but are also happy to hang out every now and then.
Hey! my name is Rachel, I'm 19 and I've just moved from Newcastle NSW to Canberra to study a Bachelor of Social Science/laws. I'm clean and tidy, I've lived in a share house before so I know how to be respectful to others in the house. I'm also very friendly, outgoing and easy to get along with. I'm looking for a house where we all get along and enjoy spending time together having a chat, watching TV, or having the occasional dinner together, but I also like to have my own time and space and would give my housemates the same. I'm new to the area and don't know a lot of people, so I would like an easy going, friendly household, preferably girls in their 20s who are fun, outgoing, awesome people who would even like to do things like going out together, going on adventures, to the gym or out to lunch. But I'm still open to living with males as my last share house was with 2 males and we got along really well. Message me if this sounds perfect for you! :) :)
Hey all, I am a pretty easy going person. Not overly fussed about the noise. I do my fare share of the cleaning and maintenance in the house. Moved to Canberra to study at the ANU. I am working part-time at the ANU as well. Originally an expat kid, grew up in Japan and lived all over Asia/Australia. Currently learning Arabic, but can speak few other languages as well. I love the outdoors, and I go hiking almost every second weekend. I'm currently travelling in Europe and North Africa. Will be back in Canberra in early February. I'll be in my last semester, so only looking for something for 6 months. I enjoy intellectual conversations with my flatmates, but I also respect privacy. I'm working part time as well, which takes away a lot of my time. Happy to team up with anyone as well. I don't mind pets, so that's a non-issue for me. Send me a message if you have place. I'm looking to start renting on 7 February onwards. Cheers
We are Alice and Rob, a 29 yo electrician and a 26 yo pilates instructor (about to start studying Physiotherapy). We need a place to stay short term, flexible with arrangements but looking at 6 months at the moment We have owned our own home and will treat yours with the same level of respect
Hi! I'm moving interstate from Melbourne to Canberra at the end of Feb for work and looking to find a suitable flatshare. I am easy going, love going to the gym, reading and going on hikes. I am always up for a chat while also respecting other people's privacy. I am a neat individual, and I always clean up after myself. I'm looking to find like minded housemates who would be interested in being friends since I am new to the city. But all good if that's not your forté! I'm also interested in teamups. Send me a message if I sound like someone you'd want to live with :)
I am 47 years of age, I am a working professional from 9-5 weekdays, I am a vert clean and organised person, I do not smoke or drink. I enjoy going to movies , dinner and trips away when time permits.
I'm an outgoing, keeping fit active guy. I like to have a chat. I like to keep the house neat and tidy. I work a fair bit, so I'd be out of the house a lot.
Hi! I am a 4th year ANU law student. I have just returned from a semester abroad. I work part time and study full time. I am an independent, laid back, adaptable and social person. I have lived in shared housing for 3 years and understand the necessities of living with others. I am clean, tidy and respectful of personal space. I enjoy home cooking, a good chat and an occasional drink. I have an extensive knowledge of films and many other interests especially travelling and photography. My parents live 2 hours away on a farm, that produces lots of organic goods! I am looking to share with either a male or female. I will have a car so public transport accessibility is not essential but preferred.
I am a Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer so very active and will be travelling back and forth to the house a few times a day as my work hours are all over the place. Very chilled and easy to live with. Will spend most of my time at home watching tv and chilling with my dog - Raven. She is a Great Dane with the most beautiful nature and easy to get a long with. She loves her cuddles and may accidentally sit on your lap from time to time
Jermaine, looking for a place to call home with some people that I would like to eventually call friends! I work Full time, Mon-Fri! Play Rugby union, guitar and just love listening to all types of music! Easy going, keen for a laugh. But also respect others space!
Recent uni grad, moving to Canberra for a new job. Looking for a place to call home. Like to stay at home just as much as I like to go out. I have a few friends in Canberra but will be looking to make more and would like a place where it's ok to have them over for a drink or a BBQ (and for you to join us).
I'm moving to Canberra from a rural town near Mudgee, NSW, in February to study a double degree at ANU. I'm mature, tidy, and relatively quiet, but also more than up for a chat or drinks with anyone sharing a house with me. Also, my partner is joining the Defence Force, but will possibly be staying with me when he is back from deployments or has time off (this wouldn't be often, and if he stayed for any extended period he would pay his share of the rent). I would prefer to live with other girls or couples, but I'm not overly fussed.
Two ANU students looking for a two bedroom apartment or house in Belconnen, preferably furnished and near Westfield. Walking distance within 10 minutes to the bus station for Route 300 series. Or 15 minutes walking distance to ANU surrounding suburbs, the price is negotiable considering the distance. Thanks.
We are a warm and friendly Filipino couple with a little girl (2 years old). I am an Architect by profession and my wife is a Document Controller. Hey I'm Millie, I'll be 2nd yr studying textiles at ANU in 2017. For those of you whose new to Canberra, I'm sorta new to Canberra too since I only moved here the beginning of this yr. I'm someone who is chill and likes to drink sometimes, have dinners with roommates, share hobbies together and have nights out with friends. I like to have my own space, at the same time, respect others too. I am a open-minded person, so I would like my roommates to be open-minded too. I don't really have many hobbies but listening to music is basically what I do almost 24 hours everyday, watching movies and painting are the things I love to do too. If ur someone who is open-minded, loves art and wanting to have some good laughs together, shoot me a message :)

Aidan and I are both young adults looking to move out of home. Both of us are tidy and able to cook and clean. I have a part-time job in Tuggeranong. We have our own personal furniture (bed, bookcase, set of draws etc.) but can pitch in to buy things such as cooking utensils and other furniture if need be. In our spare time we (mostly Aidan) play video/computer games, read, and other quiet things. We are also interested in camping, indoor rock climbing, and hiking etc. We are looking to move out around the beginning of March, or possibly sooner, depending on how things turn out.
Recently spent a semester overseas studying and i'm coming back to Australia to finish my final year of my Bachelor of Biomedical Science at UC. I'm from the Tamworth region but have been living in Canberra for university. I'm pretty quiet usually and like my own space but i also don't mind having a chat and hanging out. I really don't want to go back to the university village! id be happy to help organize a new share house.
Hi my name is Jedd, I moved in from Adelaide shortly before Christmas. Im working a really steady roster at JBHiFi in the city centre but I'm also studying VFX and Animation in Watson, and undertaking an internship in Acton at the Film and Sound Archive, so a place near the city or with good access to it is a must right now. I'm very clean and polite. I can cook for a group and I come with a staff discount at JBHiFi if we need to upgrade any ammenities. I like to get out a bit, either for drinks or the odd walk/jog, when it's in the budget I wouldn't mind joining a gym either. As far as hobbies, I'm big into both awful and good movies, comics and video games, I spend a lot of time illustrating too! I love pets if you have or want to have any, I have history as a pet/house sitter so people can vouch for me if you need it. I don't sweat the small stuff so I doubt theres any chance of friction living together. I'll be out of the house a fair bit anyways with all my commitments, but I'd love to be mates with whomever I lived with If you have any questions for me feel free to call or text me, I'm working till 5:30 most days though so apologies if any of my responses are delayed at all. I check my emails at lunch too! Cheers!
I am young friendly, respectful, honest and neat woman who needs a very serene environment to stay and study at the University of Canberra. I a mother of two nice boys from Ghana but they are currently not with me. They are in Ghana and I am just in Canberra to pursue a 2yr Master of Nutrition and Dietetics programme at the University of Canberra.
Hi, I'm Vern. I'm a recent graduate from ANU. I'm currently working casual as a disability support worker while finding a permanent job related to my field of studies. I can be very sociable but I do enjoy having my own private time. I'm very clean (a little bit of an OCD lol) and quiet when I'm doing my own stuff. I love to cook, bake and chill over movies. I'm respectful of others' privacy and I hope the same from my housemates. :)
I've lived almost exclusively in share houses for the last 8 years (preceded by 6 years of boarding school) so I know all about being respectful of other peoples' spaces and reliable with rent, shared expenses etc. I'm super clean and tidy and I don't like mooching off others, so I expect the same from my house mates. I work full time in the public service so I won't be home much during the weekdays. Weeknights I'm usually pretty content just to do my own thing but I'm happy to jump on board social events too, especially when someone else organises it. It usually doesn't take much twisting my arm to get up to adventures on the weekends though. If you want to know anything else just let me know or feel free to do a cheeky Facebook stalk Also my move date is flexible! I had to put one down so it's just a rough estimate. Cheers!
hey there! I am looking to share rental accommodations. I am originally from Sydney, commencing work with ACT health in late Jan. Please contact for more details :) Thankyou!

In my spare time I enjoy reading, gardening, and hanging out with friends, and would love to find a place where my housemates are always up for a chat and a drink or two, but still respect each others privacy. If you think we'd be a match it'd be great to hear from you!

I don't mind dogs or cats around so long as they are friendly and socialized. I am QLD. I like to do a little bit of exercise most days and will be catching up with family and friends for a meal or the movies while in ACT.
Hi there! My name is Elley and I am a 22 year old student studying social work and working part time. I have recently moved back to Canberra after living away for about 4 or 5 years and am looking for a new place to move into. I am a pretty laid back girl, who loves getting out and about, playing sport and having a chat. I am looking for housemates who enjoy spending time together, having a chat and a casual drink together on the weekend. Would be keen to have a chat if you think we would get along!

Hey guys I'm Steph and I'm a returning ANU student in 4th year. Currently looking for a place to live for the year as I am returning from England from exchange :)
LOOKING FOR THIRD PERSON FOR TEAM UP, WITH BUDGET OF 200$ OR MORE Hello! (Me) 20 year old female student at ANU studying Sociology (Jimmy) 23 year old male with full time job Jimmy and I are desperately looking for a third person to team up with us to get a home. We're currently trying to apply to 8 different three bedroom homes in the areas listed in "Preferred Locations" (Belconnen, Latham, Wright, Scullin, Mawson). These homes range from 490$ to 600$ and are all within a 18 minute drive to the city (some even less than 10 minutes) and all are near to a bus stop. I have a budget of 200$ max including bills and Jimmy has a maximum of 275$ including bills. With that being said, whichever home we get we would split the pay by size of room. All the homes we are looking at have a master bedroom and en suite, which will be Jimmy's, while you and I would share a bathroom. All these houses do not have furniture, other than basic appliances so we would need to build this nest together. If you have your own furniture that'd be great too! It is getting more and more difficult to find a place in Canberra so we are really desperate! Because of the urgency of the situation we are looking for someone who has all the documents ready to rent a place. This includes proof of income as well as proof of identity and references among other things. If you are relying on Centrelink payments you would also need a guarantor (aka mum or dad). So if you are even mildly interested I can send you all the information on the 8 houses we will be applying to as well as the necessary documents needed. Until we get a third person we won't be able to apply so the faster you can get these documents in, the faster we can get a place! Send me a message with any questions and I'll reply you ASAP! Thanks a bunch xx
My name is Zac, I am a 23 year old male student. I'm currently studying a doctorate at the University of Canberra and am working part time. I currently live in my family home (in Bungendore) and am looking to move somewhere a bit closer to UC.
Hi. I work part-time at a large sporting complex and am also studying honours in psychology. I'm a quiet, clean and easy-going person who enjoys reading, watching tv and movies, sewing and crafty things, playing board and card games and just generally chilling and hanging out. I enjoy swimming and being in and around water. I also enjoy the occasional game of tennis.
Hi there, I'm Tahlia, a 23 yo female, a bit about myself, I have 2 jobs, one at The Basement in Belconnen as a bar tender which is a lot of fun to work at since music is a big deal to me, its also an awesome place to go for a few drinks aswell :) my second job is at Kmart which i will be starting soon. My Hobbies: I am very much into my gaming, mostly World Of Warcraft in my own time and i do enjoy having a casual game with friends, even when it comes down to some board or card games :) I am also big into comics, my favorites to read are things such as Deadpool, Batman, The walking dead series, and more, one of my favorites would have to be The Killing joke :) I love my music as i stated above, and binge watching tv shows on netflix is always a good time. I am a pretty happy friendly bubbly person who loves to have a beverage or even a cup of coffee with friends/ room mates here and there, but i also respect everyones privacy and personal space. I am very clean, i always clean up after myself and i like to keep the house generally tidy. I also have 2 dogs, they are my life, my children even and i will never part with them, Carlin is a 2 y/o female Irish wolfhound cross mastiff Daxter is a 1 y/o male Irish wolfhound cross bull arab They are like mini versians of wolfhounds haha both super super well behaved, and toilet trained and even know a fair few cool tricks :P if you have any other questions for me please feel free to message me :)

Hi, we are both two 19 year old females from Sydney currently studying law at ANU! We both like to keep a clean environment and are up to socialise, but can also study quietly at the same time. We are respectful of other people's belongings and space and would also love to make new friends!
Hi all - I am looking for some easy going guys and/or gals to shack up & enjoy the year with! A bit about me: I work as a post graduate scholar at the AIS. Basically that means I'm enjoying the 9-5 grind, but when I am home I'm down to watch any sport whilst enjoying some banter & a cup of tea, or a cider or two. I'm not one to sit in my room all day/night, however I definitely do need a good balance between socialising & down time (as does any other normal human being!) I'm a very easy-going/chilled and respectful person and tend to get along with most people. I am also extremely clean/tidy, but can still appreciate that when multiple busy people live in a house together, it is not always going to be spotless all the time. Other general interests include: baking, reading, brunching, sleeping, exploring/going on little adventures. The list goes on, but if I sound like someone you'd be happy sharing a house with I'd be more than happy to have a chat or go for a quick coffee! Happy house/flatmate hunting!
