I am currently studying full time at university (b. Sports and Exercise Science / b. Sports Management) and working 3-5 days a week as a waitress and in events, plus completing an internship. I will often be out at uni or work, but would like to socialise with my housemates occasionally when I am home! In my spare time I enjoy watching all sport (I get a few spare tickets to all Raiders home games that would be available for my housemates most of the time if they're interested), going to the gym, reading a good book and going for coffee with friends. I also love to travel when I can get time off! I am a considerate, clean and tidy person, and am good at sharing responsibilities. Having my own bathroom would be a huge plus, but it's not a deal breaker if that's not possible.
Hey, my name is Jamie and I'll be studying in Canberra. I'm easygoing and more than happy to help around the house. I enjoy cooking, photography, and going for runs. I like going out but prefer Netflix and a heavy doona most nights. So far this is sounding very cliche so I may as well double-down and cover all my bases by stating that I'm looking for a fun but relaxed; open but cosy; quiet but adventurous place to live. To be honest, I'm quiet and respectful and I'm looking for a place that matches.
Looking to move into a chill environment with a fairly spacious room , will be studying in february. Im an easy going tidy person that keeps to myself but also likes social interaction. I am quite the uber eats enthusiast so your fridge can be stress free :D.
Current full time student who is in their final year of University. Will be studying Industrial Design at the University of Canberra in 2019. Super easy going individual who is very clean, easy going, relaxed and respectful. I’ve lived out of home for 4 years now so I’m all to familiar with living with others and being respectful of their belongings and space, cleaning, cooking etc. Would ideally like to move in with people around my age and with who I would consider friends rather than just house mates. Do enjoy a sneaky casual drink and a night out occasionally. Would be pretty keen on exploring Canberra in my time there and potentially go snowboarding in the surrounding resorts. Honestly just want to make fun memories with cool people in 2019. I will be moving from Newcastle to Canberra and am currently looking to find a place with myself and a mate who also studies the same course in his final year. Ideally somewhere relatively close to the University if possible. My friend (Jarrod) will be away most of the week so it would be nice to have other house mates to hang out with. Flexible on the amount of extra people in the house. Happy to move in with someone who already has a house or pair up with someone and look for a house all together!
I'm a Yoga teacher, dancer, photographer, nature-lover. I'm very tidy, thoughtful and responsible. I am independent with a full life, but I also enjoy the buzz and colour of communal living with good-hearted and gentle people. I like to live in places with beautiful light and near to nature.
Hi, My name is Maliha. I am a 21 year old Nursing student studding at University of Canberra. I am looking for urgent accommodation in the north Canberra area, most preferably as close to UC as possible.
I'm a psychology student moving up from Melbourne and working part time. I am looking for a place to call home for the year. I'm looking for a cosy, homely, green, and calm living space to share, preferably close to University of Canberra. Things I find myself doing often/ hoping to see myself doing often: yoga, reading, writing, spontaneous journeying, gardening, drumming, silent musing, cycling, looking at food recipes, going on irrelevant tangents. I'm not that loud nor like drink-brandishing parties and generally prefer interesting connections and conversations.
I am a single mature 27 year old female who loves animals and who is a tidy and respectful person. I work full time in child care and enjoy sewing, watching Netflix in my spare time. I don't mind socializing with other members of the house but also like time to myself as well. I am not a party animal or a smoker. I'm looking at moving in from the beginning of April 2019.
Recently single, established professional, studying part-time. I have a small dog, who means the world to me right now, so really only in the market for a place that will work with both of us. I promise you, you’ll fall in love with her.
I am a very social, hard working clean and tidy kind of person, i am very respectful toward others no matter what. ill hardly be home considering i work Monday to Friday 8:30-5 at a real estate agency, that unfortunately cannot find me a nice home to call my own. and i usually go home to my family on the weekends or ill be hanging out with friends. also very interested in team ups! I am very easy going and always love to have a chat but i also enjoy my own company. feel free to sling me a message!
I am a very sociable person (but fall well short of being a party animal). I've just finished my degree, and having spent 3.5 years as a student, I know the value of privacy for both myself and others. I don't smoke, nor do I use recreational drugs, and I only drink sporadically. I'm a reasonably tidy person who is more than happy to help out with housework. I love football (both playing and watching), gaming, and watching classic-era Simpsons in my spare time.
I have been living in Canberra for ten months so far. I work full time with the ACT public service, and am based in Belconnen. I like cooking, sewing, singing, painting, and movies! I'm tidy and respectful, and not really into big parties. I have a two year old white-and-tabby indoor cat in Melbourne who I am looking to bring to Canberra. She's sweet and happy, doesn't really bother people, and has a rear joint dysplasia which means she can't jump onto kitchen benches, and can't free-range outside. I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a quiet, laid-back house. Ideally with heating and cooling, off street parking, and some kind of outside space. I have a tv, freezer, and bedroom furniture, and am happy to provide any other furniture if needed.
Hi, I'm Charlie. I'm moving to Canberra around mid January. I will be working full-time at DHS. I'm looking for an accommodation for at least 6 months to 1 year+. I'm neat and respect personal spaces. I cook nearly everyday, workout often and enjoy making cocktails on the weekends. P.S. I prefer private bathroom, no smoking indoor.
Hello, I'm going to be attending UC and hope to find some place close to the uni. I think its very important to keep the public living area clean (particularly the kitchen). I'm happy to be social but I think i will mostly keep to myself. I enjoy reading, cooking and music.
In my last year studying software engineering and networks engineering at UC. I work part time, clean, tidy, considerate and organised. I spend a lot of time studying and in my free time i like to cook, gym and socialise :)
Isaac and I are two full time students studying at Nursing and Primary education at UC. We love music, drinks with friends and a bit of netflix here and there. We are super clean and tidy. We are looking a house that accepts couples to move into ASAP!
Hi, I'm Dan. I'm a 27 year old sports biomechanist moving over to Canberra from Perth to work at the AIS at the start of February. I've spent the last 10 years at uni, so I'm looking forward to the new challenge. Given I'm moving across the country, I'm looking for a furnished room (preferably not a single bed). The location of any potential house doesn't really bother me, as long as it's in Canberra. I'd be after a housemate or housemates that are easy to get along with and share a space with. Unsurprisingly (given my profession) I am a bit of sport nut. I also love music, food, and the odd drink. I’m easy going and happy to socialise but am also fine with keeping my own company. I’m clean and tidy and definitely don’t mind helping out with housework when it’s needed.
Hi there! I’m working full time a medical receptionist as well as doing bar work on weekend, I’m constantly busy at work or socialising with family and friends. I also love to be active and go to the gym in any spare time that I have left! I’m a very tidy person and easy to get along with, I love to hang out as well as have alone time in my room. Waiting to either team up with some people and get a house or move into somewhere :) I would preferred to have my own bathroom as well. Message me if you are interested in teaming up or have a spare room available! Thanks guys
University student looking for a place off campus. I’m clean and tidy, independent but friendly. I like a bit of peace and quiet but also enjoy socialising and chatting with housemates! I’m keen on running and fitness/sport, enjoy cooking and love a good tv series when I’m not studying and working!
We are tidy, considerate and also enjoy our food. We have both previously shared houses before so we know what it is like to live with others. We are moving interstate from Tasmania to study at the University of Canberra and work, we are needing a place to stay to get us on our feet and look for our own place. We have one car between us, a place near the uni would be preferred but we are flexible :-)
Hey my name's Jacob, regular guy working in the public service and looking to find a room in a share house. Into politics, drinks, good food, reading, walking/hiking, Netflix/Stan, and getting to know people. Ideally looking to share with uni students/grads/public servants around my age (21-30ish) who share similar interests. Cheers
I am a 23 year old female who is looking to either move into a existing house share or start one up with someone else. I am a clean, tidy and responsible person who has house shared before and am very respectful of others privacy and belongings. I am a laid back person who enjoys a laugh and spend most of my free time with my friends, family, playing sport, cooking and catching up on my favourite tv series. I am preferably looking for a place with my own bathroom. Message me if you think we would be a good fit :)
A full time student moving to Canberra from Sydney to study a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics. I am passionate about healthy living and love cooking and experimenting with new recipes. I am a huge animal lover and am a good balance between social and enjoying down time
We're a tidy, clean and easy-going couple from Ecuador who study and work in hospitality, however we also like to hang out, watch Netflix, have a drink and have a good laugh. We are looking for a nice, quiet and private room, with easy-going flatmates and with similar habits.
Hi, I'm moving to Canberra from India. I'll be studying IT at UC. I like meeting and getting along with new people! I've a passion for travel photography! Looking to share a flat with other easy going people!
