We are a professional 32 year old couple working in the city and Macquarie park. We are looking for a place that we can call home for 6+ months or more. We are a really easy going, hard working couple who respect others privacy and space. Please feel free to contact us if you feel you may be able to assist with a room in the areas that we are interested in renting. Cheers!
Hi my name is Kajani aka KJ. I'm a working professional, moved from NZ 6 months ago for work and loving Sydney. I'm looking for a flat or someone to share an apartment with. I'm quite an easy going person love being active and out and about. Looking for a place for 6 months or more.
25, male from Mumbai, recently relocated to Sydney for work. The silent kind with a respect of people's privacy but fun to hang out with once opened up! Soccer fanatic! Looking forward to meeting a great bunch of people.
I am an easy going man with good sense of humor. Love hanging out with friends, going out to have a drink or visiting beaches. Love music.
I'm a friendly, easy-going professional. I love socialising and would always be up for a chat over a glass of wine or a home-cooked dinner. However I do enjoy my downtime and would also respect my housemates need for quiet time as well. I'm pretty active - I love hiking, yoga, cooking, travelling and trying new restaurants/bars. I'm respectful and easy to get along with. I'm looking to move in with someone who is like-minded and has similar values to me.
*UPDATE: Am in a temp sublet until late August/early September so will now be unable to move until last week of August/1st week of Sept 2018 at the earliest. Happy to discuss mutually agreeable arrangements though.* Hello friendos, My name is Ushter and I'm a "late 30-something" man/guy/dude who uses the pronouns he/him, and who is looking to move ASAP into an established share house, ideally with people in their 30s (or older). Me: I work full time for a trade union Mondays to Fridays, doing the 9-5 thing. I would call my ideas/way of thinking being what is called 'being a lefty'. I'm clean, tidy, hygienic, and am not (currently) hosting any alien plagues/beings. I'm sociable and don't mind the occasional chin wag but also like my own space and quiet time. I'm all about personal responsibility, mutual respect, and open communication between housemates. I am available to move ASAFP. (Thick of It reference). You: Please see section entitled "Me". Please let me know if I fit the profile of "suitable housemate" and/or if you know someone looking for a housemate like me. Cheers, Ushter
Hi folks! I am Frank, a 24 y.o., outgoing and enthusiastic exchange student from Hamburg, Germany. I am stoked to have gotten the opportunity to live and study in Sydney for half a year, and now I am looking for the perfect place to start this incredible adventure. I've got plenty of cohabiting experience in different settings and cultures - so I am mostly easy-going and laid-back. However, guess I should let you know about my bad character properties first: I tend to sleep in when it rains, then I engage in a lengthy coffee and breakfast ritual (which I love to share), and I won't be of any help if you just want to have a short polite chat - I am always up for a friendly talk in the common areas and when I am taking too much of your time, you will need to tell me explicitly. But other than that, I am clean, smart, a good student and follow a healthy and sporty lifestyle (my favorites are beach volleyball, sailing, and yoga!) - which makes rather busy, but I always keep a good mood and sunny smile :-) Message me if you think that somebody like me is just what your flat-share has been missing. I am deliberately not writing anything regarding expectations of the room and the equipment because “How” is more important to me than “What”. Cheers, Frank I will arrive in Sydney only on 24-Jul. However, I am more than interested in finding a lovely place so I would be very happy if we can arrange a virtual apartment visit through Skype or WhatsApp!
Hey! I’ll be moving to Sydney at the end of August, looking for a room to rent. I’m originally from the coast of NSW, but have been living in Melbourne the last 12 months. Keen to get back a little closer to home and the warmth now. I’ve just landed myself a full time job at Royal North Shore Hospital as a nurse which I start in August, then outside of work, I’ll be catching up with friends, or keeping busy being out and about. I’m very easy going, have lived in share houses for a while now so I know how it all goes down. Would love to hear from you if you have a room:)
I am a sweet and nice :) sociology student from Copenhagen university of Denmark - I am on exchange for one semester at Macquarie University. I am a social person and therefor I think it is importent to have a good relation to the people I live together with - hopefully we become friends. I will use a lot of time reading, going around exploring the city, parks, museums, beach and shops. I will probably like to go out and get a drink or party sometimes. I respect your privacy and give room for time alone. I like the idear of saying hi when we meet in the morning, evening, when we are going out and coming home ;) I think it could be nice if it is aloud to dance and listen to loud music sometimes, when it dosn't disturb others. I have a free spirit, I am very tolerant and I think it is okay to drink, dance and flirt, have a partner and much more, but I would not like to live with abusers of alcohol, drugs, marihuana, sex or so. - and I would not like to live with a person who has a new sexpartner home every other day. My most importent value is tolerance and respect of others, but I do not accept people who does not treat others with dignity and respect ;) I clean up after myself and expect it from my flatsmates. I like to live clean and nice - probably with some plants or flowers. I would enjoy to chat, cook, eat and go out together sometimes - if you are cool with it? ;)
We recently got our Residence. We are both engineers working our own startup. We´ve lived sharing apartment with other people since 2014 for option, not finantial need. We are moving to Sydney and we love to be among interesting people. Initially, we gonna stay, at least, 2 months to check how to move the company to Sydney definetely. We are easy going, social drinkers and hard workers. :)
I am a sports event management professional from Hungary moving to Sydney for professional and personal development. I am outgoing, respectful, and tidy. I love to eat and I have a sweet tooth. :)
Hi, my name is Warwick. I'm employed full time with Fire Rescue NSW plus i have a casual job which i fit in one or two days a week. Im out mountain biking about once a week and i play squash once or twice a week. I've lived in share houses for over a decade and know there is a balance in making it work. I enjoy sharing a meal and a drink from time to time. Im also happy to give my housemates their space. I like to keep things nice and tidy and will do my part in keeping the place clean.
I am Christian friendly young lady, mature and wise, but easy going, and love to learn from others, and share some food ideas. Love peace and quiet, highly respectful and consider people privacy, and love my own space as well. Looking for quiet and relaxing accommodation.
Hi, I've been back in Australia 4 years having spent the last 12 years living and working in London. I work full-time in the film industry, and while there is an office in Surry Hills that I can use, I prefer working from home most days. I don't need much space to work, and am very considerate of other's space. I'm looking for a professional, easygoing housemate 35+. Ideally just one housemate, but would consider living with two. Ideally I'd like a larger bedroom (smaller is OK if there is a study - I'm pretty quiet with my work - computer and phone mostly). I'm out a few nights a week. I'm looking for a house that feels like home, I don't mind getting a cleaner, I really like cooking, and am pretty relaxed about things generally and I think pretty good to live with, pet's are no problem. I'll respond to emails promptly, hope to hear from you.
I'm 26 and work full time as a Legal Secretary. I am clean, easy going and respectful. I enjoy going to the beach and spending time with friends on weekends but like to keep quiet during the week. Would love to sit and chat with my flatmate but also respectful to privacy.
Hello! Born and raised in Russia, I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Copenhagen, Denmark. Later this month I will be moving to Sydney to do an exchange semester at Macquarie University. Therefore, I am looking for a place to call home for a few months. I previously lived and studied in Sweden and the UK. I am very adaptable and used to sharing accommodation with different people, and once lived in a dormitory, sharing kitchen and living room with 26 other people from all over the world, and managed to survive there an entire year! I am a responsible, tidy, and quiet person who likes to socialise with flatmates but also respects their privacy. I like animals, and especially dogs, so I wouldn't mind living in a household with pets. In my free time, I like going out to explore new places, reading books, watching movies, baking, and going to the gym. I also totally love travelling and taking pictures and hope to visit many places in Australia during my time there. I would like to live somewhere in North Sydney close to the train station.
Hey, I grew up in Sydney around the North Shore and Northern Beaches and I work in finance which keeps me busy during the week...and then some. I like to train at the gym ( actually love training) and so can have some pretty late nights. Otherwise come the weekend it’s finding a new adventure to keep things interesting!
My name is Emma I am currently renting my own place. Looking to downsize my rental payments so I can go overseas. I am incredibly clean and tidy keeping the place as my own. I respect people’s space as I enjoy mine. I also enjoy socialising and a wine but not a party person. I also enjoy keeping active. Working full time and studying full time I make the perfect housemate. I am happy to find a flatmate and find a place as I already have my own furniture living by myself now. Please get in touch :)
Hello, I am an easy going fun person who likes to keep active; enjoys a drink or 2 at home or out and about over a meal or a BBQ. Mature, responsible & considerate of other people’s space. I am not looking for a wild party house or for flat mates that take the party home. In Sydney since Jan & hovering between consultancy work & doing an MBA at AGSM UNSW. I am looking to share with Singles only in a furnished accomodation i.e. Apartments can be small so I am not interested in sharing with couples. I prefer to have my own bathroom or en-suite. I am a dog lover but unfortunately not too fond of cats - so if it is between a cat & me - let the cat have its milk!! lol :) Thanks reading & look forward to hearing from you. Thanks Liam.
Hi everyone! I'm searching for a private room in north sydney area and surroundings, own bathroom preferred but not essential I'm clean and tidy searching for a place where i can have my privacy but also enjoy a chat/glas of wine now and then with my housemates I'm currently working and studying and going to the gym on my free time so i won't be around much during the day Feel free to contact me for any question :)
Hi I am Nicolas, I am French. I just manage to get a 4 years visa to work in Sydney for an Electrical company. So I'm looking for a nice place to stay during this or more, who knows! I like to share things like dinners, movies or chats on weekdays with my roommates and on weekends I love to scuba dive and discover new things. I like socialising and going out as well ! Look forward to find a place where I'll feel home.
Hi guys, I'm 30 years old professional who works full-time in Finance (in CBD). I have been living in Sydney for 5 years now. I would call myself very clean and tidy person (have a bit of OCD with cleanliness i think) and respect other's privacy. I prefer quiet and chill weekends to recharge my energy as i usually work long hours during the week, and I am definitely not a party person. However, don't mind to have a glass of wine and share daily news with my flatmate after a hard day's work. I don't like to cook, so you will rarely see me in the kitchen. In case if you need a reference, my current flatmate with whom I've been living since i came to Australia, I believe wouldn't mind to provide some feedback. The reason for me to leave the current place is due to our apartment being sold. What I am looking for: - 1 Flatmate who has a full-time job, tidy and nice. - My budget is $350 (incl bills). - Need own bathroom. - My place needs to be near the train station. - Will move in on 11th of August, 2018. If you have any questions, just send me a message. Thank you!!
Clean, fun outgoing English/Irish couple looking to experience Auz! We arrive in Sydney on the 29th June and need to have a place ideally set for then :) Help is much appreciated on how to secure a home from home :) We love a good netflix binge now and again, not cat lovers sorry for those who have the furry friends! Sociable, friendly and polite & love meeting new people, we’re not the type to turn down a bevvy or two :) We love eating and dining out (foodies meat lovers not veggie/vegans) Were keen to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle. If you like the sound of us please reach out.
Looking for a new place to call home. I work full time in medical imaging and am currently studying as well. I’m pretty low key during the week and like to spend my weekends relaxing or adventuring around Sydney. I like to travel as much as I can and currently have a baking obsession which will work out great for anyone that doesnt have diabetes!
Hi, My name is Faryal and I am moving to Sydney. I have been a working professional since the past 8 years in the banking industry and I will be working full time in Sydney as well. I am just a simple friendly young girl who is ambitious and fun loving as well. I like to travel, explore new places and make new friends. I like my own space but I am always open to friendly conversations. I tend to keep the place around me as tidy as possible so that's what you can expect from me. Do get in touch if you have a suitable place and would like to get to know more about me or if you think we could find a nice place together.
I'm friendly and keep to myself. Will be at work most of the time. In sydney for 1 more months. Currently living at Parramatta. Need place for me and my friend from July 20th. Any place with commute 30 mins or less to town hall. We work for CBA and work as IT professionals.
Hi, I'm Hanna. I'm 29 and I've moved to Aus from the UK to work as a senior actuarial consultant. I'm very sociable and have a few hobbies which I plan to continue now I've moved over, mainly squash and wall climbing. When I'm not working I love going out and about with friends to bars or coffee shops, playing sports and visiting new areas. At the weekends I'm not much for spending time in watching TV, but I do on the odd occasion in the evenings when I've had a busy day at work. I was a landlord myself in the UK and have lived with loads of people in the past, who I'm sure wouldn't mind providing a reference if need be. I am very clean and tidy, especially in communal areas. Please let me know if you think I'd be a good fit!
I'm a quiet female professional who loves her own space and privacy. However I am very friendly and cheerful even though I don't like noisy atmosphere. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker of alcohol. I am very clean and tidy and would appreciate sober housemates. 😊
I think am funny AF therefore need housemates with quality banter. Love to have a great time on the weekends. During the week though, I work around 12-14 hours a day. I'm a lawyer working in North Sydney and I make music on the side. Very clean and respectable (bantz aside) I am only after modern apartments/houses, so while I respect the hustle, please don't market to me.
Hi there! After taking a break from Sydney for the past 6 months I'm looking to move back and settle in once again. I'm an early riser each day and love to head off on adventures most weekends. Fit and active guy who loves a bit of banter
Hi, my name is Liam. I am from Auckland and am moving to Sydney in August. I am a relaxed and easy going person who loves to have a chat. I am very tidy, clean and respectful of other peoples' space. I will be starting my career in Sydney. I look forward to meeting new new flatmate(s)!
I'm from the Philippines and I am moving soon to Sydney to do a 1 year management training in the CBD area. I am easy to live with because I have an ambivert personality and likes to keep things clean and organized. I love reading books and travelling, as well. I am hoping to find a nice place to stay for the duration of my training, preferably a single room so I can have privacy.
