I'm looking for an upbeat, fun place to call home for a few years. A little about me - early 30's, very laid back, super friendly, happy to chill but also very sociable. I am a professional working in Fitzroy, into my cooking, health and fitness. I'm very clean and tidy, respectful of others, upbeat and cheerful.
I'm a 20 year old chef from the UK starting my working holiday visa in February, I'm hoping to find a house share with fun easy going people that know how to enjoy life, a good BBQ and a few bevs on the weekend! I'm a respectful person who is tidy and I respect peoples privacy. I've lived with other room mates before and had a great time, I'm looking for new roomies that become good mates!
New(ish) to Melbourne and looking to move into a place where furnishings are flexible. I basically have half a house so team ups would be suitable! I work 4 days a week at an engineering firm doing finance while also studying criminology. Fairy quiet during the week but I enjoy going out most weekends, brunch, bars, exhibitions. Prefer a place that I can also he friends with my housemates but also respect each other’s space!
Hello lovely people of Australia! My good friend Garkein grew up Nottingham of the UK and has a flair for cooking. I hail from the Rocky Mountains in the US where I learned to love the outdoors. . If we can see new places, meet new people, and learn about new cultures while maintaining a kind and open minded approach then we'll be content. I finished my Mechanical Engineering Technology degree at Montana State University whereas Garkein got the travel itch after a long stint in the recruitment industry. We then set our sights on Australia, the perfect place to pursue the aforementioned goals. We're both excited about working and living in Melbourne. I'm currently working in the city as a data analyst. I’m hoping to find a place close to my office that I can call home for a few months. While we're adventurous in the outdoors and the kitchen, no need to worry about any excessive partying, alcoholism, smoking, drugs etc. We're very respectful of other's property, and privacy; and will seek to ensure the living situation is beneficial for everyone involved. If you'd like to add a touch of class to your living arrangement look no further. Hope to hear from you soon! Trevor & Garkein
Hello all, my names George I’m 26 from England. I’m very socialable, enjoy sports and fitness. I am clean, respectable and always clean up after myself. Very easy going to live with. I’m here working on with the Grand Prix and will in Melbourne until the start of May.
I am currently studying Acting at VCA and am looking for a place I can come home and chill out after uni. Uni is super demanding so I do like quiet time during semester. I work at a major theatre in the city, also as a classical violinist for an opera company/freelance, violin teacher, I make leather goods on the side and I paint.
Hi I'm a German backpacker and currently staying in Melbourne. I'm still hunting for a job and a flat :) I'm very easy going and would like to find a nice shared flat with some great mates.
Hey guys, I'm Nicola, 25 year old Melbourne local. I've just recently moved back from a 7-month stint in Scandivania and am looking for a place to call home. I work in Construction Management and am also in my final year of my bachelors at RMIT. I'm a bubbly, easy going person who lives a pretty busy and healthy lifestyle. I work a lot but in my spare time am quite outdoorsy and active. I love going to the beach, hiking, yoga, mountain biking, scuba diving etc. I'm a neat and tidy person and respectful of others space but am pretty social so would love to find a place to both chill and watch netflix and have a couple of wines at chats at home! Not a huge party girl, but definitely enjoy going out on a Friday/ Saturday night for some cocktails and a boogie! Hit me up if you feel like we'd get along!
Hey there! I'm an Architectural Graduate from Adelaide recently moved to Melbourne for work. I like to cook, hang out and explore the city when I can. I'm easy going, always down for a chat. I'm sociable but respect other people’s space, know how to clean up after myself, pay rent on time, all that good stuff.
G'day Potential Flatmates, The current lease with my housemates has unfortunately come to an end, and has left me venturing back onto the market for a room or house. I am a full-time commercial property valuer who works in the Melbourne CBD from Monday to Friday. I have been living in Melbourne for about 8 months now as I moved over here from Perth. I am an outgoing person who doesn't mind a few social drinks on the weekend, or a even a relaxing couch binge of netlflix. I like to keep healthy when I can and go to the gym a few times a week. I also wouldn't call myself a Masterchef in the kitchen, but its not my first rodeo. I am very easy going when it comes to living arrangements too (i.e. cooking/cleaning duties). I am looking for a room or even open to teaming up for a house. Would love to meet new people and hopefully become your future house mate! Feel free to flick me a message and I will respond - Cheers Jason.
Hi future housemates! I'm an Architect working in a commercial design firm in the city. The avid book worm and doodler, so I come with a few freestanding bookshelves and as such looking for a med-large room (or space for a few furniture items) for the ongoing collection. A few years back when I was a student I used to work in a cheese deli at the Queen Victoria Market for three years, so I've got a few foodie connections and love great food and a yummy cheese board! Not a huge party animal, I tend to save it for my birthday and hosting an annual Halloween party. I'm a bit of a hippie, so would love to set up my own little abode with composting and a nice little veggie garden or I'd love to be with people who'd be keen to do a once a week group dinner? I play rugby union, it's my outlet from the worries of the world and it around it keeps me quite busy from April - October. If you're keen, my passing needs some work, and it's be nice to have housemates to goof around with the ball. On weekends I love having a few gins and getting my creative crafternoons on, I'm currently developing my digital illustration skills and dabbling in building up Virtual reality models. Or else adventuring out and exploring the wilderness, I love camping. Also looking for a place that in future would be suitable for a dog (not yet but in the near future). Generally a bubbly person that likes to live a happy, healthy lifestyle. I do enjoy socialising but I also know how important the balance of space and quiet time is, and I keep a decent level of cleanliness without being fanatical. Everything in moderation. Can provide references and look forward to meeting you.
Brand new to Melbourne. Studying Graphic design full-time 8-5 during the week. I like tennis, yoga, cooking, art, painting, design, music, triple j, coffee, brunch, and the occasional weekend beverage.
Fun, outgoing and adventurous person. I work full time Tuesday to Saturday. I’m very open minded and easy to get on with. I regularly attend the gym and enjoy socialising with friends.
I study physics at RMIT, do a bit of IT consulting and I'll be working full-time in Glen Huntly from late February. I like to climb, read, strum a guitar, ride my bike and love to cook. I want to do more scuba diving and paragliding is my current daydream. I'm a big fan of hanging with the housies but I do find myself increasingly busy. I'm pretty laidback, originally from Northern Rivers NSW. I have a veganish diet but couldn't care less about by the dietary choices of others. I don't smoke. I've got a fairly varied background so tend to get along well with most anyone. I want to live with people similarly socially and environmentally conscious, friendly and considerate.
Hi! My name is Jacqui, I am 29 and I work full time in the city as an Events Manager - I am looking for a new home, with some cool new house mates! I am friendly and easy going, love animals so pets are a bonus! Would be great to live with someone who enjoys a wine on a Friday night, but I am also very independent and enjoy my alone time! I am tidy and respectful of other people’s belongings. Pretty flexible with location as well - let me know if this sounds like a good fit!
Hey! My name is Fabian. I finished my undergraduate in architecture last year and am now moving from Berlin to Melbourne to start teaching part time at university. I have been living in shared flats for the last five years and I would be very happy to continue doing so in Melbourne. I would consider myself a sociable person, kind and yes, tidy as well. I like going on hikes, for a swim or playing badminton. I have a passion for photography (both analog and digital) , drawing and computer/interactive art.
Hey there! My name is Jaqi, Im 17 but very much an old soul at heart. Im very friendly and out-going, and I can always enjoy the company of others. I believe the house is a place of peace so I will never bring unwanted noise or disturbances into our house. I currently work with kitchen retail in Brisbane and will be getting a casual/ part time job in Melbourne in the same area.
I'm a 25 year old aerospace engineer from the country, but have spent most of the last several years down here in Melbourne. I build transport drones for work, and have recently moved the workshop into Port Melbourne where I'll be spending most of my time. I hope to find suitable housemates that I can become friends with, who I could share a few drinks with after work and hang out on days off. However I'm also prepared to settle into a quiet place where I would concentrate on work while I'm here, and head away during my days off. I'm polite & tidy. Happiest when I'm camping down by the river with my boat wakeboarding or fishing with good mates. But I also love a good night in with friends over drinks and dinner.
Hi there! Thanks for checking us out :) We, Jasmin (30) and Jonas (29), are a couple from Germany doing our gap year (or two). We've already been living in a flat share in Sydney since August and just moved to Victoria. So here we are, looking for a new home in marvellous Melbourne. Both of us are working full-time (assistant nurse and customer service admin) plus at occasional side jobs, so we keep ourselves pretty busy. But we like to cook almost every day and you're very welcome to join for dinner :) Other than that we also like to watch Netflix or go to the movies. If you're up to going out sometimes we'll be happy to join you, but we're actually not too much into partying (we're old, haha :D). But we definitely love to check out restaurants and bars, like all of those delicious places in Newtown. We're very clean and like it tidy, respect the privacy of each other and are very positive folks. If you are in the mood for a nice cake, or happen to need a new scarf, Jasmin is your mate :) Whereas Jonas is your handyman for all kinds of repairs and alike in your home. Due to an allergy we're looking for an apartment that has wooden floors or tiles everywhere, even in our room if possible. Also leather sofa(s) are a big plus :) But no worries about the mattress and the bedding, we'll bring special covers for that :) Still reading? Cool, you seem like someone we'd like to move in with! Let's have a chat :) Cheers, Jasmin and Jonas
