Architect recently moved to Victoria and working part-time for a local university. Clean, tidy and considerate of others in a shared space. I have a car (pref off-street parking) and a bike and looking for a reasonably quiet, friendly inner-suburban place not too far from civilisation. Looking for 3 to 6 months initially with possibility to extend if all good.
I'm a very happy, easy going and active 25 year old. I work full time across two roles as a registered nurse and flight attendant (these days I'm home most nights and work 6:30am-2pm or am otherwise interstate just one or two nights a week at most) . When I'm not working I'm often at the gym or doing something active, out with friends or happy to just kick back at home with a wine in hand and Netflix :-) I am looking for a room or team up with likeminded and easy going individuals who enjoy a bit of banter and a laugh.
Hey! My name is Lauren and I am friendly, easy going and clean. I am originally from Tasmania but have lived in Melbourne for two years and will be in my third year studying business full-time at RMIT and working part-time. I have lived in shared accommodation for the past three years so I know how communal living works. I enjoy having a chat and sharing a meal or a few drinks with my housemates but also respect people's personal space. Able to move in anytime from 1st of Feb. Please send me a message if you have a spare room or are looking to teamup!
Financially reliable, clean and tidy, respectful, light hearted, open-minded, outgoing and down to earth Norwegian female who have spent the last five years in Australia. I have one semester left of my master of Urban Planning at RMIT and I work 20-35 hours in a cafe in Southbank. When I am not busy with work or uni I like to go for a hike, walk or run, be out and about with friends or at home relaxing. I always try to contribute to a good living environment through sharing food, home-cooked meals and snacks and I always try to leave a place better than how I found it, whether that is by putting away the dishes and taking out the trash or with one of my terrible jokes to lighten the mood.
Hi I'm a 30 year old guy looking to share a house/apartment. My background is in teaching and in writing and I'm currently working full-time. I'm tidy, considerate and respectful and have shared a few houses over the years. In my free time, I enjoy travel, reading, movies, playing sport and meeting new people. I'm easy going, happy to hang out or do my own thing. I'm looking to move in somewhere straight away so please contact me if you have a room available. Look forward to meeting you! Thanks Feargal
University of Melbourne graduate. Looking for a shared apartment or studio for 6+ months in surrounding suburbs of Melbourne city. I am currently doing part time work and looking for full time job in Actuarial or banking field. I have a vivid experience in sharing houses with both the genders in the past and have never missed or delayed a rent payment. I am flexible with the dates and prices if a good deal is up. Currently overseas, travelling, will return on 10th of Jan, so shooting an email or what's app suits me. I play footy twice a week and gym almost everyday. Highly compatible with fitness freaks and yoga instructors. Need not mention, easy going, respect privacy, blah blah.. Cheers
Easy going bloke, Like getting into the gym, outdoors and playing basketball, Like to chill in a home environment dinner and movies on the couch, but also spending time out and about in the cafes and local community. Like a well kept clean environment. Trustworthy and reliable on shared responsibilities. Moving from Brisbane to Melbourne expanding the working role Im in
My name is Nichola, I'm 25 years old from Brisbane. I have recently returned to Australia after working overseas for 3 years. I am an Urban Designer/Planner working in South Melbourne. I'm a friendly, and easy going person to live with, I think it's great to have a friendship within the home, but also respect each others personal space and privacy. I am respectful and accommodating to housemates and always do my part to keep common areas clean and tidy. I enjoy a chilled evening in with a bottle of red but I also enjoy a night out with friends (everything in balance!). I enjoy latin dancing and (don't laugh) crochet! I also like to stay active and I'm independent. I would love to hear from you and see if we would be a good fit!

Enjoy cooking, and consider myself a clean person. Also like to play sports and staying healthy. Anything else you'd like to know...just let me know.
Hello! I am a friendly, warm person looking for a place close to the city and within walking distance of a beach. I work full-time as a Project Officer in the public service while also studying part time at Monash. I will be finishing my BA Honours in June this year. After that I'm not too sure what I will do, but I can commit to living somewhere at least until mid-way through this year! (I'm currently living at home and saving furiously). In my free time I love tea, a good book, travelling and spending time with friends. I'm always up for something new/adventurous like flying planes or boat trips to look for seals. I love breakfast food (eggs!!) and will happily share my creations. I am tidy, usually quite busy and happy to do my own thing, but will always make time to hang out/chat/share memes. I love long conversations about everything and anything!
I work as an abseiler in the construction industry. Clean and responsible. Like having a beer and a laugh and going away on free weekends. Usually take a month off work every 3 months to travel overseas too.
HELP WANTED. I have just received notice that my landlord’s son wants to occupy the apartment, essentially vacating us! We have 60 days. We are hoping that you will come to the rescue… If you are looking to fill two rooms in a share house, look no further! Myself and my friend Cian could be your perfect housemates. We are hoping to move in somewhere starting mid-January, but we are also flexible (can touch our toes), and would be able to move as late as mid Feb. A little about us. I’m Michael, a 25 year old PhD candidate studying exercise science. Originally born in Melbourne, I grew up in Ireland. I’ve essentially returned home (like a salmon). I’ve got family here and have been living happily in a sharehouse in Melbourne for the last 2 years. I'm easy-going and enjoy the company of others, but I am also respectful of personal space. I would describe my interests as broad but I have a keen interest in food and cooking, health and fitness but I also enjoy a beer and a good laugh. I appreciate a tidy house, but I'm not a neat freak. My friend’s name is Cian. We have been friends since we were about 6 or 7. Cian is a full time chef, vegetarian and craft beer aficionado! Cian will be in Melbourne until September, when he heads off to Edinburgh to start a masters in brewing. Cian is light hearted and has a witty sense of humour but he is also genuine and down to earth. We both think moving into a share house is a great way to meet new people and get to know more of the city. Ideally we would like to live with likeminded people, who don’t take themselves too seriously but can take things they do seriously, whatever that might be. We are not looking for a party house, but a friendly home to share with friends.
From Sunshine Coast QLD, I love the beach, surfing, playing piano and guitar. Super easy to get along with - very tolerant and considerate. I work in a new burger restaurant at the moment in the CBD and on my days off love to relax with friends, go to the gym or be at my church Hillsong CBD.
I'm a 36 year old ex chef of 16 years turned audiovisual tech. I am a clean, respectful, reliable housemate who enjoys being social as much as I appreciate my own time. I dabble as a musician having studied music for two years and have been playing guitar for 17 years. I enjoy staying fit and having a social drink with housemates and friends.
34 year old english bloke, moving to Melbourne 23rd Jan to start working with a mate of mine. Professional, considerate, clean, really easy-going, I like to think I contribute to my environment whenever I can (my most recent housemates still let me have a key to pretty much come and go as I please!)... All the traits you gain from living in shared houses for nearly 20 years :) Moving to Melbourne to join a friend of mine in expanding his business (long-term) so expecting to work hard during the week and relax a bit during the weekends. Play drums (but won't have a kit with me, so don't panic). Love cooking (especially for other people). Enjoy swimming, cycling, going-on-adventure-ing.
Currently a masters student at University of Melbourne, working part-time, and am a 2nd dan black belt who teaches and trains in taekwondo. I am looking for a place preferably closer to the city and uni and for new housemates who either want to hunt for a place with me or have found somewhere already and need an extra housemate. I don't have any pets but if you have any I'll love them as they were my own. I'm very house proud but am by no means a homebody and when I'm not at work, uni or catching up with friends, I can usually be found out in my kayak, on my bike, at the dojang or going for a run which you would always be welcome to join me at but I won't force you too! When I'm at home, I'm quite neat (and I hope for my housemates to be the same), I'm a good cook, and do enjoy getting to share a meal with others. I love a good chat, intelligent or silly, and a household full of laughter. I believe home should be a positive and happy place and not a place where everyone goes and hides in their room at the end of the day without talking. I do however believe everyone needs their own quiet time and I am respectful of that but I will always put a good book down to chat and be social instead. :) I'm more experienced living with guys however your gender, sexual orientation, race, favourite colour, football team or star sign all hold no bearing on your suitability as a housemate to me. The only thing I ask is that you have a positive attitude and are the type of person who is easy to get along with and inclusive of others regardless of their differences. I have most things needed for a household inc. everything needed for a kitchen, a comfy couch, coffee machine, large flat-screen telly, linen, towels, an iron etc. I don't need to bring everything with me (some of it is currently in storage already) however I definitely do not want a bedroom that is already furnished as it would not feel like home to me without my own bedroom furniture. I am not picky when it comes to finding a place (ok, shower curtains creep me out!) however, I do have a car, kayak and mountain bike so a place that has secure parking and somewhere safe to keep my bike is essential, the kayak can stay behind and live with friends kayaks if needed. I am also avoiding apartments that do not have built in laundry facilities and require the use of a communal/ coin laundry if it can be helped. Before contacting me please make sure your listing has the following requirements: Off-street parking, unfurnished private room, non-couples. Thank you.
I'm a chemical engineer looking to run a management consultancy servicing clients in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Japan from home, based in Melbourne. I'm a great cook with a knack for traditional Asian recipes, I keep things spick and span as I go and am a massive film buff - I've even worked on film and TV for a production house in my teens! Nothing makes me happier than good company - a long good read on a rainy day, a mind-bending film-athon on a lazy weekend or long chats about growing up over a hot cuppa late in the evening.

I study Engineering full time and run a business, I really enjoy keeping fit and healthy, this year I want to focus on this even more and take it to the next level. I also still enjoy to drink and have some fun though trying to keep this to a minimal or occasion basis. Feel free to drop me a message if you want to chat further I am pretty much ready to move any time from now and have a mate that is also looking with me so a team up would be good.
I'm a 23 year old from the UK. Have been away travelling Asia for 4 months previously, been in Melbourne for 2 months now and am ready to find a more permanent place to live nearer to work! Was an estate agent back home but I work in hospitality over here so often work on weekends. I'm very sociable, enjoy going out, travelling, skiing, cooking and Love a good Netflix documentary! Ideally looking for a place for 2 and a half months. I would love to hear from you if you have a spare room 🙋🏻
Hi I'm Andrea I'm friendly, considerate and relaxed. I work in radiology and I'm originally from New Zealand. I moved over about 9 years ago now and love living in Melbourne. Our landlord is selling his house and my lovely flatmate is buying and going suburbanite. I like living with clean considerate people who are social but also appreciate each other's space.
Hey! I'm a third year full-time commerce student at the University of Melbourne. I work part-time and my hobbies include cooking, exercise, exploring the outdoors and photography. I love keeping busy! I'm friendly and sociable, love a chat after work/uni and dinner & drinks over the weekend. I do also appreciate time to myself and am very respectful of others' space. As a housemate I am trustworthy, reliable, considerate and very tidy. I have a 2 y.o. ragdoll cat - she's 100% housetrained & indoors and such a little charmer! :) She has co-existed with a number of different dogs in the past with no issues. ALSO -- Looking for a longer-term stay only (~12+ months); hoping to be settled by mid January at latest! My ideal place would have my own bathroom and somewhere to park my car. If you're interested in teaming up, it'd be great if our budgets and move-in dates were around the same. Reach out if you're interested in catching up and chatting more. Cheers! :)
2 girls on WHV's looking for either 2 rooms ($200pw) or a large shared twin room ($350pw). Has to be furnished and we need it to move into ASAP. 2 months minimum but will most likely stay 3/4 months if available. Preferably bills and wifi included. We are very easy going, clean, tidy and respectful of others. Like to have fun, experience new things and love to meet new people!
I'm a digital marketer and entrepreneur originally from Middle Park. I've been in Melbourne for a decade now. I present a positive energy and aura, calm, collected, considerate, courteous, neat, tidy (maybe a little OCD but not crazy OCD), positive and fun-loving Libran. I love the finer things in life so a decent environment with a zen and minimalist ambience would be lovely. I am a non-smoker and love cats (although allergic, I once owned a hypoallergenic bengal cat). Some of my indulgences are yoga, ballet, gym, aerial arts, gym and the occasional jogging down the beach. I'm a massive foodie and I work in hospitality, health and wellness. I just love the coffee culture in Melbourne. I would be keen to see if there would be a fit for our personalities as housemates. Regards, Kim
Hi I’m Chris I am friendly, outgoing, fairly relaxed kind a person but also love my own space as that’s where I recharge my batteries and I’m looking for a new home. I’m wanting to share a non smoking active/healthy household or townhouse, that is environmentally aware. I would love an unfurnished, decent sized room, with space to move and built in wardrobes. If there is an en-suite, bonus! A place where the common areas are kept in a good state of cleanliness, especially the kitchen, and bills are paid on time, with a minimum of fuss. I prefer an independent household but with the possibility of sharing a drink, a laugh, or the odd meal together. I get on well with most people and I’m responsible and considerate when it comes to other people’s things and space. Currently I'm on a break from working but will start looking again early next year probably contract work or part time. I like to keep reasonably fit and active, but I also like curling up with a good book or DVD. Sometimes weekends will find me, outside somewhere, hiking camping or whatever else I can find or talk people into. I'm pretty independent but like knowing that there are other bodies living in the same space, the random conversations, laughter, or drinks but live reasonably quietly, prefer to go out rather than entertain at home and I go to bed early :-) ish. My days of being a night owl are over so prefer to live with people with similar habits. Cheers
Recently new to Melbourne from NZ. Work fulltime in the city for Citywide as an arborist. Very handy, easy going, creative n resourceful.

Hi all, I'm James, a 4th year engineering student studying at RMIT. I have a steady income, working within construction management part-time, 3+ days a week, with additional retail work available over weekends as required. I'm easy going, open minded, clean, and a non-smoker. I enjoy running amidst other outdoor pursuits as to stay fit and adventure. I greatly enjoy baking, coffee, and unwinding by our beaches. Further, when I’m out I appreciate a beer amidst our live music scene, and if we're in, I’ll never say no to Mario Kart. I maintain a large garden and vegetable patch at my current home, so should your place contain either of these, I am capable and content in looking after them. I'm looking for a clean and neat place with friendly and social housemates. I'm ready to move in as of the 26th of December, 2016. Car parking, off street or otherwise, is necessary for my work. I hope to hear from you soon.
Hey guys! Im a kiwi, 26, been in Melb for a year and working full-time as a Regional Manager generally Monday-Friday. Looking for a nice modern apartment/house with others, similar age range, 1-3 others and preferably long term. Will need to have easy parking as I have a work car. I'm clean and considerate round the house, keep pretty chilled during the week - work, exercise etc and enjoy a couple quiet wines. On weekends always keen to get out and do something, love heading out for brunch or dinner/drinks. Want to get out, meet new people and explore Melb some more! Thanks, Kels =)
I'm a lawyer turned teacher who is about to embark on my teaching career! I grew up in Melbourne, but I have been living in the country and the coast. Looking for a city base, I'll be working Monday to Friday, and heading to the coast most weekends. I'm friendly, kind, social, and I love to cook and mop ;) a dog lover, I'm happy to share with pets.
I am a 28 year old house-trained male lawyer from Brisbane moving down to Melbourne to start a job at a new firm in the CBD, after living in Brisbane for 10+ years. I have plenty of friends and family down in Melbourne so i won't be a social recluse that sits in his room eating Doritos and playing Pokemon Gold all day every day. Aside from finding a decent area to live in, ideally I would just like to move in with one or two others (male or female) that are just normal nice people. It would also be preferable to move in somewhere pre-furnished (aside from bedroom, which I am obviously happy to fit out myself), but having said that I would also be happy to contribute towards communal furnishing. Please let me know if you would like to chat further.
Hi, I am super easy going with strong values - integrity - honesty and respect. I am involved in a startup and as you can imagine that takes basically all of my waking hours :) When I do have sometime to myself I would make good use of it by heading to the gym or listening to friends playing a gig somewhere in Melbourne. I do need pet friendly accom as I have 2 elderly cats 20yo and 15yo - their only requirements are to sleep on my comfy bed and have some supervised outside time - balcony - courtyard is fine.
I'm from France, I took a gap year during my studies to travel in USA and Australia. I love to travel because I like the surprise of the unknown and I love to learn about new places, people and cultures. I'm only 21 but I'm very mature and responsible. I'm an easy-going person and I'm very friendly. I also like swimming, hearing people’s stories, and simply talking with people.
Im a former corporate banker, who move to Melbourne earlier this year to study music composition and production. I enjoy socialising, get out to gigs, sporting events, dinner, and I'm known to enjoy my wines. I'm clean, friendly, easy going and respectable. Owning my own properties, I appreciate the value of taking care of the space that I live in. My current lease doesn't expire until January next year, but keen to keep an eye out for the ideal property ideally in the south Melbourne area, but will also consider Port Melbourne, St Kilda, Middle Park, Richmond and Prahan. Ideal property would be a newer apartment, house or warehouse space, with off street car park. My preference is for mature flatmates 30+. Will consider team ups too.
Not looking to move until mid January 2017 at the earliest. Looking within South Melbourne, Albert Park, Port Melbourne, St Kilda areas predominantly. Happy with 4month to long stay options. London girl who's always had a desire to live and work abroad, which has lead me to Melbourne. Working as a project manager for a learning software company. I'm 31, single, vegetarian (no, I won't hiss if you're a carnivore and no, I don't ever want to try a Big Mac, and yes, I get plenty of protein,). I'm here to travel and just embrace living in another country. I'm very well trained, tidy and respectful of other peoples' spaces. Having rented out a room in my own home, I know what it's like to share your home with people who don't appreciate it! I love exercise, Pilates etc, as well as silly nights out. Fire over any questions!
Hey we're Bella and Liam, from the UK and we've recently moved to Melbourne. We're looking for a place in the above areas to move into some time early January for anything from 2-6 months. PlEASE NO OTHER AREAS... as we want to stay away from the hectic busy city but still be close enough to jump on the tram. We're really easy going people who are up for a laugh and like to keep busy an active, but come home to a relaxed house. So we're not really looking for a party house as we're both working, but we don't mind a cheeky few. We're interested in team ups, so if you too would like to live in the listed areas let me know and we can arrange something. ✌🏼️ Bella 🙃
Full time sales and marketing professional Music, motorcycle and fitness enthusiast Not home very often Prefer to live with females Very neat and tidy Home owner Non smoker Would prefer a place with own my bathroom but that's not a deal breaker
Jake and I are both two passionate individuals who enjoy music, sport, cooking, and getting to know people. We are both planning to attend Monash Uni next year for music courses, but would like to live around the city. Coming from the Phillip Island, Jake and I love the beach, and we are both very down to earth. We love all things art, and we will be able to go to some cool and funky galleries, cafes, and performances when living around the city. Jake has a bit of OCD in terms of cleanliness, and will be a great addition to the household as a domestic partner. Emma is full of vim and vigour, and will bring interesting perspectives into the household. We are a couple of two and a half years, and definitely not full-on in terms of PDA!!! Being musicians, we obviously love gigging and jamming with mates.
I just got my dream job in a market research company in St Kilda and a daily commute from Carlton is being a drag so I'm planning to move a bit closer when my current lease expires in January-February. I lead an active vegetarian lifestyle, run daily and am usually very busy with work/gym/social life. I would like to live close to the beach as I play beach volleyball in the summer season! I also speak fluent russian and latvian and am learning spanish in my spare time. Love social housemates and having a wine or two in the evening, but respect everyone's space. Not a clean freak but try to keep common areas neat and tidy. Looking forward to meeting future housemates!
I am a writer, actor and theatre maker from London, moving to Melbourne in October. I am looking for somewhere to stay upon my arrival, as I set myself up in the city but also open and hoping to find somewhere I can stay longer as this I am intending to move to Melbourne, not just for an extended holiday. As such, I will be hoping to meet new people, explore the city and engage in and discover Melbourne life as much as possible. I love all things arts and hope to get involved the arts scene in Melbourne. I love meeting new people and socialising from coffee shops to bars, festivals and clubs. However I am also more than at home, curled up for the weekend with a good book or going on a hike or bike ride. I cannot profess to be the world's most accomplished cook but I am always keen to try new things and I haven't poisoned anyone yet! I am clean, tidy and used to living with a multitude of different people, strangers and friends alike. If you are having a bad day, I will be first on hand with a good coffee or a glass of wine, depending on your preference! I can't wait to start a whole new chapter in Melbourne and hope that I can not only find a room in which to stay but also find some great new friends to start that journey with! If you have any questions, please do get in touch and ask away!
Hi, I'm Luke. I'm a 25 year old male that currently works in the finance department of a telecommunications company in Melbourne, don't judge me on that though. I'm an easy going person who enjoys sharing meals, movies and drinks with housemates however am also respectful that everyone needs their own space. Most weekends I can be found down the surf coast. However on my return to Melbourne I also enjoy good music, good food, good wine and a good night and I am more than willing to indulge in these with my housemates. I am not just looking for a share house, I am looking for a place to call home, a place thats relaxed, a lot of fun and a little bit quirky. If you think I would fit in with your housemates, yourself and your home please do not hesitate to contact me.
Hi, My name is Natasha and I recently accepted an offer for a job in Port Melbourne. I’m relocating from Perth and need a room close to work. I’m arriving to Melbourne on 22/01 early morning. My first day at work is on 23/24th of Jan. Since I’m still in Perth, I can’t check out the room till 22/01 and I was thinking maybe facetime/skype chat can work? For us to meet and for me to see how things are in your place, discuss details. If the room still available, please give me a call Thank you! A little bit about me: I'm a 30-year old professional coming for the first time to Melbourne. As I said before, I'll be working full-time and plan to do part-time study to complete my diploma in Building Design. So, I guess, that will make me pretty busy. I'm also fairly active person, do yoga regularly, go for a long run about once a week and love doing some random fitness classes or social dances. Love cooking, a good movie and being socially active. I'm single, an optimistic person and easy to get along with, a compassionate friend. I love keeping my place clean..do my dishes..don't forget to take my washing out the washing machine and pay the rent :) Ideally, I'd love to find a place in convenient location. I'd like to share it with a person who doesn't mind helping me a bit to find my way around Melbourne and happy to have occasional chat, join me for dinner or go out for brekky, that would be just great. I have a car that I hope not to use much, so more or less secure parking would be just awesome.
29yo professional single lady. i work full time (Mon-Fri 8:30 - 5:00) as a interior designer in the city and love a sneaky glass of wine on a weeknight. Im super chill and considerate and love a good laugh and the occasional netflix binge.
I work full-time and am studying m masters part time so probably won't be around very often. But when I am I do enjoy socializing with my housemates, so would prefer to share with people who are outgoing as well. I have been sharing with others for the past 7 years so have a bit of experience with share houses. I am currently looking for a place with cheaper rent than my current place (currently paying $250pw), but also a place that is within running distance to the beach would be preferable I also have a lot of existing furniture I can provide for a share house (dining table, kitchen cabinets, tv entertainment unit, fridge)
Love to keep this whole thing simple, looking for a nice place with some relaxed and interesting flatmates. I kinda do my own thing during the week as I work long hours in the finance industry. But love the good things in life, always up for a beer and a chat. Looking for something reasonably long term as moving is always a hassle so a good fit my my flatmates is key.
