Hiya, I'm Meg. I'm 25 and work in the CBD area in IT. During the week I'll be at work either travelling interstate or in Sydney. I've signed on a new apartment in St Leonards which I'm looking to find a flatmate for the second bedroom. This may fall through which means I will still be looking for a plce On the weekdays I like to go for walks/to the gym, watch the bachelorette (yes you read that right), attempt and fail at cooking then order in. On the weekend, I like to go on roadtrips, catch up with friends for dinner and drinks. I also brunch religiously. For ease of access to the CBD, I need to be close to a train station. Ideally looking for a room with ensuite but I'm also open to teamups and finding an apartment for lease if I can find a clean and tidy flatmate. I'm clean and tidy, I like to keep the apartment looking (and smelling) nice at all times. I will know more about the apartment I've applied for in St Leonards in the next couple of days. But basically looking to find a flatmate who I can flat with or find a room for me to move into.
I'm a professional working in change management, recently moved from Perth. My demeanour is calm, approachable and engaging. I'm very considerate, organised and tidy. In my free time I love exploring Sydney, keeping fit and relaxing. I'm looking for a place with my own ensuite/bathroom and parking. Thank you.
Hello there! Looking for a place I can call home. I have been sharing places before and I always ended up being good friends of my flatmates. I am a tidy person who likes to be outside most of the time but also likes some quality time at home.
My name is Ana Maria, I am 38 years old, single, respectful, responsible, clean and easygoing. I will be here in Sydney for 4 years working for my government in Australia. I work full time, I like to exercise after work and then go home and relax. I love socializing and going out but also appreciate some quiet time.
Hi all! I've just graduated high school on the North Shore and am really interested in sharing a place at the beginning of next year until I start uni in 2018 or 2019. I'm really easy to get along with and am very independent. I also love animals so i'm more than happy to look at a place with animals. I love being outside or at the beach and then winding down in the afternoons. I have a part time job at a child care centre on the North Shore and looking for another part time job during the day. I do have a boyfriend/best friend who i'm looking at sharing a place with, so if you're open to sharing a place or teaming up with a couple that's also great! If you'd like to know anything more, simply send me a message! :)
Hey, I'm Beth! I am a 25 year old Brit who is clean, tidy and respectful who does my bit around the house. I am super friendly and easy to get on with and I like to meet new people. I am a foodie and love to go out for a drink or a bite and then go to the gym (so I can eat more!... jokes) but also like to Netflix and chill on my own. Most importantly happy to chat about anything over a nice cold beer! I am either looking for a private room, bills included in a flatshare for myself or I also have a couple of friends who I can move in with if you need more rooms filling or have a whole property going. Let me know! :) :)
My name is Jurate, l am 36 years old from Lithuania. I am planning to stay in Australia for at least a year and a bit. I am clean, tidy, easy going and friendly sociable person. I work most days so I'm looking for a quiet, clean environment where I can relax at home. I also like to meet new people and enjoy the occasional night out.
Hi housemates! I'm from Barcelona and I am a geologist, currently employed as a postdoc (full-time researcher) at Macquarie Univeristy. I'm very open-minded, friendly and I like meeting people from other cultures. I'm active, I like doing outdoor activities over the weekend (diving, climbing, caving, hiking) and travelling, but during the week I'm pretty relaxed and I enjoy spending the evenings chatting with my housemates, reading, watching movies or playing board games. I have been living in Sydney for more than 3.5 years now, always sharing a house, so I'm very used to it and you'll have no complain about me, since I'm a very clean and easy-going girl. My landlady and housemates will confirm both! To be honest, I'm extremely sad to leave my current place and my friends who have become my Australian family for the last 3 years. Unfortunately my landlady is renovating half of the house and I have no option but to find somewhere else to stay. I'm looking for a room in a clean and tidy house to stay for a full year (or teamup for a new place), with nice and sociable housemates (not really crazy parties in the house though, I have to be able to rest during the week!). Obviously no need to say that I'll definitely respect your privacy (and I hope that you will as well), because I think it's essential. I would like to live with people who are happy to do activities together and share some meals from time to time. In other words, I'm not interested in a place where my housemates spend almost all the evening in their rooms... I would like to have a place that I truly feel like HOME. I'm looking forward to meeting you!
**Not looking for share accommodation unless it is a large private room / area with own bathroom / en-suite. Thank you. I am a marketing professional who has just moved back from London to Sydney. I love Sydney’s parks and beaches and miss them dearly – hence, I am looking for a small home for a 6-9 month period that is open plan and over the north side - all the other suburbs listed are of interest. A modern granny flat or studio would be ideal as I am looking for a private space with lots of light. I am tidy, quiet and am often running or at pilates mid-week after work and like to get out and about on the weekends. Thanks!
Hey everyone, my name's Michelle! I'm searching for a private room in an APARTMENT BUILDING to sublet. I'd prefer to find somewhere close to the CBD and would ideally like to live with others similar in age. The room should be furnished, MODERN, clean, and have access to wi-fi. A bit about me - I'm originally from Melbourne. I just started full-time work in Sydney and will be studying on a part-time basis. I've also lived in flatshare before so know how to respect the space and privacy of others, and I like to keep things clean and tidy. Please let me know if you have a suitable place! :-) N.B. I am planning to travel at the end of January and in February for a couple of weeks so I am primarily searching for a SHORT-TERM place to live between the 2/2/18 to 16/2/18 (2 weeks). I will be looking for long-term accommodation from the 28/2/18 onwards once I'm back.
I'm an easy going, open minded, free spirit who is clean & and respectful of other people, their property possessions and personal space. Vibrant and social but also like down time to myself more than ever. I work full time as an EA Mon-Fri and also do some events and promo / hospitality work a couple of nights a week and sometimes on weekends. I am pretty chilled with most things but not really looking to live in a "fratt" house type of environment, however, love to have a drink / BBQ etc. My only real restriction is with cats. I am allergic and we are not down with each other at all. No offence. Thanks, Elise
I'm 24 years old and in Sydney for a six months internship. I'm working three days a week and the other days I spend hanging out with existing friends, making new friends and retreating from all the buzz by closing my room door behind me. I've lived in shared flats for more than five years now, so I do have heaps of experience with all sorts of people. At the moment I live in Darlington, but my contract ends soon and that's why I'm looking for a new place to stay. I'm happy to move as of today and I need a place until somewhen July-ish. I really got to love Darlington and so staying somewhere close would be ideal for me. I'm very flexible in terms of living conditions: If you're rather quiet and reserved I can adjust to that and work around you, if you're more of the party type I'm happy to discover some unknown places in the neighbourhood together, it's really up to you. I'm familiar with sponges and dishwashing liquid, I also know how to use a vacuum cleaner. So if you're looking for an adaptable, respectful flat mate and don't mind an occasional sarcastic comment: here I am.
I'm an easy-going, sociable 28 year-old professional working full-time in the CBD. I love cooking, exercising and keeping active but also enjoy my down time. I really think it's important to make your home into your 'sanctuary' so I always make an effort to keep it clean, tidy and beautiful. I hope to find a like-minded person who I can share a place with on a long-term basis. Flexible with move-in date. *I require parking and own bathroom.
hi there, i am looking for a single room in those areas. i work in hospitality for 8 yrs so mostly i work evenings, weekend mostly i stay home, relax, catch up with friends. i prefer clean, quiet, no pet ( i love dogs though) and tidy households.
Passionate trail-runner. Keen interest in good nutrition, with a love for cooking. Appreciator of good coffee, and excited by DIY projects such as coffee roasting and beer brewing. Weekends I enjoy getting outdoors, catching up with friends, and satisfying my inner foodie - either through cooking new recipes, or trying new places! Helps to have people happy to help me eat what I cook! Clean, tidy, considerate.
Hi there, I'm a half Kiwi half Egyptian that just moved to Sydney for a career change to study interiors. I'm looking for somewhere to stay from now for a minimum of 4 - 6 months with the option to extend. My school is located in North Sydney and I would be commuting there. I'm looking to live in Milsons Point or Kirribilli, and would consider North Sydney as well. If I found something great on the other side of the bridge I would consider it too :) I'm an easygoing girl that loves cooking, solo travel, the beach, yoga, fat cats and a good laugh... I’ve lived in many countries in my life for work, studies and pleasure, (including Canada, Qatar, Nigeria, US, Bahrain, UK and Egypt) and... I am so excited to explore Australia! I'm looking for a space to share that is clean and comfortable :) I'd prefer my own bathroom but would consider sharing if the place is amazing! Ideally, I would like to live with a young professional, preferably female, or a respectful and clean male haha or a mix of male and female in the house. I like living with people who are super cool, lots of fun but also serious when it comes to work. I enjoy my own space and respectful of others and their space. Because I will be a busy design student, I'm keen on a large room I can work in with lots of light as I will spend lots of time in it drawing etc. :) Am up for exploring the city, am new to Sydney and love the outdoors! Looking forward to finding a house companion who is up for occasional nights out dinner and drinks and nights in with tv marathons and ice cream! When we aren't busy with work that is ;)
Hi! My name is Heather. I'm 24 and I'm originally from London, UK. I am a solicitor and am working in Sydney for the next couple of years. My working hours are long so I'm generally out of the house during the week, but when I have a spare evening and at weekends, I'll be looking to get involved with and explore everything that Sydney has to offer, and hope I can find flatmate(s) who are young professionals looking to do the same, or who want to do more than just co-exist with their flat sharers! I love running, fitness and clean eating, and am always on the lookout for a gym buddy (but not to the point where I'd forego a glass of wine or a quiet night in watching Netflix). I've lived away from home since I was 17 (both on my own and in shared accommodation) so I understand what it takes to be respectful of other people's property and personal space.
We are Poppy and George, a couple from the UK currently on our working holiday visa's, we are both 22 years old, active (gym, running cycling and would love to try surfing!) we are clean, mature, respectable and would treat any home like it was our own, were also quite sociable and would happily go for drinks or make a nice group meal. we are looking in the Manly to Dee Why areas to live from around January to March. Were happy to answer any questions and can't wait to find somewhere to settle in and enjoy the northern beach lifestyle, thanks!
We are both socialable people that are up for meeting new people and making new friends. We are adventurous, active, non smokers who enjoying going to the beach, going for drinks, good food and generally exploring new places. We are respectful and tidy and have been together so long that we don't feel the need to be in each other's pockets and are both very independent. We are currently searching for full time work and in our spare time will most likely be out enjoying the city so won't be lazing on the sofa all day taking up the living room! We are both 22 and originally from England.
Looking to move any time around 16th FEBRUARY 2018. Looking for a house share. Not looking to share with more than 2 people preferably one person. Or an apartment that has good storage spaces. Hi I'm looking for an unfurnished room big enough for a queen bed. I have some other household things, happy to share or store under the house in boxes. Some of the things I need room for include a 2 seater couch, a 5 shelf -6ft tall bookshelf, a push bike, 2 cd racks, a glass top dining table that stores flat and a few plastic boxes of stuff. So depending on the space some things could be stored in the bedroom and some in a lock up garage space or ideally a storage space. I am on a 7 day roster and work most weekends and some late shifts too. Looking for a place that has a CLOTHES DRYER for those rainy days off when I have to do my laundry. I have been sharing for over 20 years in Sydney and I respect people's space and know how to clean up after myself. I am not a party person - I like to live in a peaceful, tranquil environment. I'm a vego, non-smoker, respect your privacy, pay rent and all my bills on time, friendly and clean. Happy to cook a curry at home or a buy a take away and chat about life over a meal. I work in the cbd mostly 10.30-7pm; sometimes earlier sometimes later. It's most likely that you probably won't run into me that often because of my work hours. As I work outside of normal hours and most weekends, with days off mostly during the week I'm looking for a quiet household on a quiet street or cul-de-sac with minimal traffic noise etc. So if Meriton is building 7 thousand units next door to your place - it's probably not the place I'm looking for ... :) I don't drive but I do need good access to public transport. Please feel free to send me a message if you think you have a place for me. Cheers - Samantha.
Hi there, I’m Rachel, 33, and work in the city as an urban planner. I grew up in the country, but have been living in Sydney for the past 8 years. I’m currently living in Double Bay, but my lease is ending and I’m looking to experience a new area. I’m looking to move in with someone/people who are social when they’re home and occasionally share a glass of wine or a meal. Also looking to join people who have created, or are wanting to create, a ‘home.’ I pay bills on time and am very happy to help maintain a clean home. Please call, text or message any time. Rachel
I am originally from Melbourne (don't hold it against me :P) and relocated to Sydney a year ago. I am an engineer currently working in sales/strategy for a Healthcare Consultancy...this means that I can fix things around the house, and get us mad discounts because I am a relentless haggler. I am a very easy going, reliable, flexible and most importantly - clean. In my opinion, living with a flatmate is more like sharing a home, as opposed to living in a hotel. This means that I am more than open to occasionally dining together and sharing groceries where appropriate. I will however have the utmost respect for your personal space and time. I work relatively late during the weekdays so I try to get out of the house during the weekends. I'm often outdoors trying to make the most of the Sydney sunshine. Please feel free to message or call me directly if you would like to get in touch. Omkar
