I am 26 years old and have recently moved to Sydney from South Africa. I work full-time as an auditor, which sometimes requires working late hours during our busy seasons. When I am not working, I like to gym, run, hike and other outdoor activities.
I'm a postgrad international student at the USyd business school. I'm looking to rent out a place with a minimum of 6 months rental period. I take a lot of time in keeping the place neat and tidy so you wouldn't have a problem dealing with a messy housemate. I respect private spaces but definitely wouldn't mind occasional hangout. I do not appreciate noisy places so if you're someone with the same preferences, I'm more than happy to share a house with you!
My name is Abby. I have a full-time job in a digital marketing agency so my hours are the standard 9-5. I am friendly, easy to get along with and have a good sense of humor. I enjoy yoga, traveling, playing board games, and having a few drinks! I'm looking for a flatmate to team up with for a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. It'd be great if you enjoy socializing, but can also respect privacy when necessary. I am able to clean up after myself so no need to worry about the place being a mess! :)
LOOKING FOR TEAM-UPS ONLY Please ONLY message us if you are looking for a team up - we are getting a lot of messages for spare rooms but we are respectfully not interested! We are Sabrina and Aaron - a very nice, down to earth couple looking to organise a team-up as we have everything (fridge, couch, TV etc.) for a new place! Sabrina works in Sales in Asset Management and Aaron is just at the pointy end of his degree studying Accounting and Finance and works part-time. We will be great for you if you want to move into and get to pick a new unit, not have to bring any thing (besides your bedroom) and want to live basically within 5km of the CBD! We are very clean, sociable and love a chat however also respect and recognise personal space! We are always out seeing our friends, going for drinks etc. but we won't bring the party home. Sabrina is also a great cook and baker and loves to feed people! We are hoping to meet you to go and visit listings to pick a place/sign a lease together rather than just renting and hoping for the best! We are also hoping for our own bathroom but not a requirement. We are very chilled and happy to be flexible :)
Hi, I’m Stephen from Belfast and I’ve been living in Manchester England for the past 10 years. I finally plucked up the courage to quit everything and travel the world. On my trip so far I’ve been to Japan, China and now Australia. As I love Australia, I’ve decided to get a job and settle in Sydney for a few months before going to New Zealand and then USA. I’m pretty easy going and enjoy my own space as well as having wine together and binging on Netflix. I have a few friends in Sydney so go out for dinner after work and brunch at the weekends, but want to go on a few sightseeing trips over the next few months at the weekend. I’m working in North Sydney Mon-Fri 9-5, so you’ll mostly see me just at the evenings and weekends if I’m not out and about. Also I’m very LGBTQ friendly because I like boys myself 😇💅 Message me if you’ve got somewhere I can stay from June-October and we can grab a coffee or a wine!
Hi I'm Kat, Aussie nutrition student who works in the health industry, chilled and easygoing, looking to live with like-minded people :) I am a bit of a foodie/health nut, love going on walks, yoga, having a few social drinks on weekends and most of all, cooking! I am not looking to move into a party house, just somewhere I know will be a good, quiet environment for studying and working (I work from home occasionally). I do enjoy a good Netflix binge and a glass of wine at night, and plan little trips away with friends. Looking forward to living with someone equally chilled with a positive outlook on life :)
I’m an engineer and have just started a new position in Sydney CBD, so I am looking at moving closer to work. (30 to 40 minutes to CBD) I see my home as a relaxing place. I am a respectful person of other people's things and treat them as if they were my own. I also keep things clean and tidy. I lead a healthy/ fit lifestyle, so I normally go to the gym before work and I like to cook my own healthy meals. Happy to share some meals and have a chat, if you’re up for it too. Whilst I would like to not be strangers, I understand and respect the need for personal space, too. I definitely need secure parking, and I am looking to move in 21st of May (date is flexible). Please message me if you have/ know of anything suitable. :)
Hi I'm Alex, 27 years old and recently moved to Australia. I'm a German guy, was born and raised in Cologne. For the last 5 years I worked in Marketing and Advertising in a Media Agency (So I'm the one to blame when your favorite movie or show gets interrupted by those TV spots. Not responsible for the content though.) When I'm not working I like to meet friends to go out for movies, drinks or concerts. I'm a fan of festivals (especially electronic music, so I'm always up for recommendations) but also looooove musical theatre (so cliche :-D ) I'm a music person in general, so I do like to dance and there have been some long nights in Karaoke Bars. But I do enjoy nights in with a good beer/wine + talks or netflix binge as well. I traveled through Europe and some parts of Asia. Maybe thats why I'm always up for a drink and a chat with new people. I just like to exchange stories about life and experiences. I'm also a bit of gamer. So if you need someone to play some video games I'm your man! (Even brought my Nintendo Switch with me so I can play some Super Mario overseas) I hit the gym, but I hope I can do more workouts outside here. Really want to combine working out with the good weather. There was too much rain in Cologne so I'm hungry for that Aussie sun! I had my own apartment in Germany but also shared some places with other people in the past, so I do have some kind of experience. I like to cook when I have the time and I enjoyed it doing it together with my other housemates. So if you are up for it as well that's great but not necessary. I do prefer a clean place. Doesn't need to be top notch but yeah, you know what I mean. Even though I do like to socialize it would be nice if the new home is not a party house. I'm absolutely fine with friends coming over or having a party now and then but it shouldn't be too extreme. Especially on week days or if the other housemates have to work long hours Cheers Alex

I am new to Sydney, just moved here from Canada. I just got a contract job for six months and am looking to move out of my hostel to get settled into a shared flat. I am only looking for private rooms, not shared. I need the room to be furnished with at least a bed. Shared bathroom is fine. I am friendly, outgoing, like meeting new people and being social. I am quiet and very clean and would be a great room mate for the next few months! I am allergic to cats so sadly that’s a deal breaker. I am looking for North Sydney area. Ideal move in date is end of May/early June.
Australian-French We're pretty arty and always have a future project in the works, we also love to hit a cool bar or cook up something yummy (I love a good Nigella recipe, that Malteaser cake is my downfall haha, and can't forget french pastries of course!). I'm currently studying at AFTRS whilst waitressing/working at after school care and Jules is working as a labourer full-time and a chef part time. I hope to hear from you! - Chloë
I am originally British but have lived all around the world. I am in my mid-20s, a professional and work hard. I am easy going, clean and like having a chat. I enjoy relaxing on the weekend and like staying fit.
I'm an easy going filipina who loves to travel and explore. I'm not very fuzzy but a little OCD too, so guaranteed to be neat and tidy but not to the extent where i would stab you in your sleep if you left dishes in the sink ;) I've lived in Singapore for 8yrs and Sydney for 1.5 yrs now. I work in 'IT' at a startup company.
Hey mates,we are looking for a private room as a couple from 28th May for at least 9 months.I am a student and full time labor and my girlfriend is a professional dog groomer.
Hi everyone! After my first year in this amazing city I'm coming back IN OCTOBER for my second year of working in Sydney. I'm a very tidy person and fun to hang out with. I do like to go out but having a relaxing evening at home is also a great option for me. I don't like drama - so I guess I'm the perfect flatmate to have a peaceful living together. Feel free to contact me anytime :)
David and I are workmates at GHD (engineering consultants) and looking for 2 rooms or to team up with 1 or 2 others to get a 3+ bed place north of the bridge. Moving ASAP. We're both massive foodies, spending plenty of time in the kitchen (happy to share) and we keep a pretty clean house Big afl fans (swans and lions supporters) love cricket, soccer, tennis and most sports really. Will make any excuse to get outdoors - mountain biking, running or a beach sesh. Cheers Giyan & Dave
