Hello! I've been employed as a disability support worker for 8 years. Love to cook for the guys and get out and about interacting with the greater community. I studied Marine Science at SCU and developed an avid interest in that of agriculture and aquaponics. I've collected quite a knowledge filled library and enjoy taking bike rides though the woods or embracing the sun at the beach. Courteous, Tidy and easy going, only new to the area and keen to make friends Preferably looking for a private area that's dog friendly $180 - $250 pw
HI Marcus here, I'm from the Gold Coast and looking to move to the Sunshine Coast or maybe Hinterland area. I am in my late 40's quiet vegetarian -vegan studying alternative health and medicine. Also Buddhism and yoga. Unemployed at the moment for the shift north from the gold coast, but able to pay the rent no problem. looking for accommodation from Beerwah, Caloundra to Noosa, Nambour. Some past hobbies interests hiking, kayaking, cycling, skiing and a lot of study at moment. Spent the last ten years caring for my sick parents and before that a self employed electrician contracting.
g'day! Looking to sign my first lease somewhere on the Sunshine Coast (preferably within a 30min drive to Beerwah, which is where i work) around $120/week is preferred, but can go to $150ish for the right place :) i'm a respectful person and generally keep to myself. I work in a pub so my hours tend to vary; and i usually work late nights Friday and Saturday, averaging around 30hrs/week. So ill most likely be at work when you get home from your job I'm fairly active, so it would be nice living with people of similar interests. I enjoy going to the beach, fishing checking out different pubs and i love live music (gigs/festivals). Adventures and checking out cool places! I dont mind cooking at all and will always clean up after myself. If the house happens to not have much furniture, this is fine because i have a fair bit of stuff furniture and other items that i'm more than happy to share with respectful people if we happen to find a place together. I'm really just looking to move forward in life, and moving out again seems like a pretty solid start. I'm happy with share accom, single bedroom flats, or to simply get in contact with one or two more people looking to rent and we can find our own rental property to best suit :) 6 month lease seems best suited for me at this time, but being my first time on a lease, it's fine if we arrange a 3 month 'trial' lease to see if i am a suitable tennent Cheers, Jake
Hello, my partner and I are searching for a place here on the coast, making the move from Brisbane. Easy to get along with and have diverse interests from the arts to the outdoors. As a recent empty nester I am looking for a share place(with young or older) as I do love company (although I do enjoy my own space as well). I am considerate and involved with various volunteering organisations and have been active at the local gym. Not into dramas and just would like to be in a light, bright, cheerful environment. (Of course everyone has their days), and Im not judgemental and am a team player when it comes to doing my fair share. I love to travel and now have the freedom to take time out for myself. Hoping to find the right situation, wishing you a great day.
Hello, my name is Josie. I am a 24yr old female looking to move to a new home on the Sunshine Coast. I have lived here my whole life & don't intend on going anywhere soon. I like to keep a tidy house & always clean up after myself. I don't go out drinking & partying & I will have hardly have visitors. I would like to move into a home with people of a similar age. I can be quite social & love to have games nights, but also like to keep to myself at times. I love baking, so there is bound to be cookies & slices to there to share from time to time. I have a Very extensive movie & TV collection, as well as Netflix. I would prefer a large room so I can fit my things in, or be allowed to spread them throughout the house. I am very good at saving & budgeting therefore I always make sure I have my bills paid above all other expenses. I have lived in a few share homes before & enjoy meeting new people. I will be able to attend an inspection & meet you on afternoons or weekends as I work Mon-Fri. Kind Regards, Josie
Hello! Things that you may need to know: I am moving back to Oz from a 18 month working holiday in Germany. I am self employed and work as a Equine Behaviourist and also work with dogs on the side... Because I am basically starting from scratch everything is a ‘trial run’, hence the initial short term commitment to a room... I am working out of horse properties in West Woomby and Palmwoods. So something around these two locations is ideal. The pets thing... I don’t actually have to have my dog with me... she has been with my Mum for 18 months and is happy, a few more will be fine, BUT if the opportunity came up that I could have her with me that would be great! She is primarily an outside dog, female desexed, kelpie cross. She would come with me each day to work etc, so very rarely would she be left in the yard by herself. I like to keep to myself and when I am home I like it to be restoritive down time... When not working I spent my time in meditation, doing yoga, reading, cooking or watching movies... A reliable internet connection is a must for me as I do a reasonable amount of Vloging... Anything else ask me... thanks 🙂
I am a uni student currently studying at Nambour and I am very laid back. I am undergoing a bachelor of visual arts and I am now moving in to the field of puppetry and theatrics. I have a very fun and lively personality and I am a social butterfly, but I can also respect personal space and others privacy. I enjoy the company of others and I can usually get along with just about anyone and I am a huge family man. Currently I am out at Parklands (between Nambour and Yandina) and need more access to public transport. I am stuck in a house with a hoarder, which affects my work as an artist and personal space. I also have one female cat, she is de-sexed and very much a people friendly girl.
Hey there, I'm an easy going clean and tidy 36yo who works as a nurse and keeps busy with exercise and sports. I'm looking for accommodation to share with one other preferably a woman. I’m not home much, considerate, quiet friendly. Work at Palmwoods full time, usually head down Coast to Bribie Island on wknds to visit my 12yo son who doesn’t live with me. Just looking for a reasonable room close to work. Look forward to the chance to meet you.
Hi, I’m Mel; I’m going to be starting uni next year (studying nutrition and dietetics) and I’m looking to move in with 1-3 other people. I currently work as a receptionist for an accounting firm. I like to keep things clean, organized and have always been one to pay bills on time. Non-smoker, animal friendly, very casual drinker. Keen to make friends but can respect people’s privacy - I love the occasional movie and wine. Thanks x
Hey All, Im a South Aussie moving up to Sunshine Coast to study Paramedics at Sippy Downs. Id love accommodation nearby the uni but torn between living by the beach or living close to uni. Im a heaps chilled and love a good barbecue and couple of drinks with friends on the weekends. Absolutely love the beach. I love to have a good time with friends but also love my own peace and quiet from time to time. I definitely looking forward to exploring what the sunshine coast has to offer and would love to live with people who don't mind a bit of adventure, hiking, bumming at the beach, animal lovers or lovers of fitness. Im fairly neat and have been living out of home for a few years so i know how to look after the place. Looking for a place no more than 200/wk each with bills included or anything from $120/wk - $200/wk with some or no bills included. Cheers guys!
Mel & Libby. Both 19-ish. Mel is starting uni next year to study nutrition and dietetics, currently works in an accounting firm. Libby is a second year paramedic science student. Looking for 1-2 other like-minded roommates to rent a place with around January. Would prefer social roommates, and both love the occasional wine and movie, but we respect people’s privacy as well. We’d both love to keep a clean and tidy household. Feel free to send us a message! X
Would love to live in a place with good vibes and with like minded people! I’ll be starting my third year of psychology so I would love to have a place where I can really zen out, but also focus when I need too (for the days, I disappear in to my room to finish an essay). I’m spontaneous and would love to live with people who are keen on adventures to waterfalls, mountain hikes and beaches. I am comfortable paying $150 a week, could do more for water, electricity and internet too :) I somehow ended up living in Chermside (life right?) and going to university on the Sunshine Coast, so I'm very keen to move back to the gorgeous, chilled out coast. I’m honestly in love with the atmosphere of Buderim especially, but I'm honestly just after a place where there's still some nature in the backyard! ~ super tidy and respectful of space ~ enjoys a beer or wine ~ always up for socialising
32 year old spontaneous, respectful, openminded and easy going Swede. Always close to a good laugh, likes keeping it cleen and tidy around me and appreciate when it´s quiet and peaceful. Spending a lot of my free time going to the gym, likes heading out for a long walk, spending time outside, love being around animals, hanging out with good fun people and explore new things. I love my coffe in the morning and I´m also a big fan of motorsport! Have lived in Australia (Melbourne) before and i loved it. So have done the sharehouse thing before. Heading back to Australia for study, so prefer a quiet house with easy going housemates who might wanna share a good laugh together once in a while :)
Hi, my name is Emma. Grew up on the Sunshine Coast. Moved up to FNQ for work (High school teacher). At end of year I have decided to come back home. Miss my family and friends. Clean. Healthy. Active lifestyle. Play touch footy and cycle. Love to cook and bake when I have the time. Now I have a 4 month old wolfhound x Dane x arab puppy. She is going to be big but a super chill, loving and happy pup. Would like to team up with someone who is similar and like minded and have a house that has a decent back yard. I love to socialise with friends, but at the same time, like home as a quiet peaceful place. Not a party animal.
I could write an essay about my world travel, great sense of humour, stimulating career, and my gorgeous, well behaved Samoyed girl Asher, but I'd rather meet in person and have a chat, that way I get to hear about you too :)
We are a young, energetic and outgoing couple, with a shared passion for the beach, being outdoors, travel and adventure. Carmen is a primary school teacher from SA and Courtenay an Interior Designer from QLD, though we both have a very varied working background across the globe. We have just returned from a 7 month trip in NZ, and a 4 month trip to Slovenia and have extensive house-sitting experience across Australia, New Zealand and the UK. We have lived in many share houses before and are confident that we are extremely suitable, friendly and reliable house-mates. We take pride in the properties that we live in, are very respectful, tidy & clean and are always mindful of flat mates and their requests and house rules. We would love the opportunity to meet and further discuss our suitability!
Hi there. My name is Angela. I am a registered nurse employed part time at the new Sunshine Coast University Hospital. I love to socialise and im always out and about with my little fella. My boy is three and a half and will be living with me. I would love to move into a home where my child and myself are both excepted and welcome. A fun house but not a party house. I love a social drink but im no longer a party animal. I love to cook and like to keep my environment clean and tidy. I dont have any pets but I do love cats and dogs so other peoples pets are not a problem. Looking into moving into a nice house share asap. ;)
