Hey :) I'm Crystal and I moved to Melbourne last winter from Sunshine Coast, QLD. I am on a venture for my start up business in conscious living, wellness and healing. I work casually as a beauty therapist through a temping agency and on saturdays. Will be moving to more regular days with clients as my goals are achieved :) I am a vegetarian and travelled for the 6 months of last year with my girl staffy (sophie) who is 8 years old and very protective of her household. She will lick you with love and likes to be pat alot, ideally looking for female, peaceful housemates that are similar or older age. My values : - Clear (gentle) and direct communication - Honesty is my only policy - Conscious and mindful housemates are important to me as I thrive with authentic and inspiring interactions. I've found being always home alone is too lonely, but too much personality is also overbearing for a cancer crab - I would rather non smokers - People that keep the place clean generally - I eat vegetarian and so does Sophie, though i can work around carnivores ;) - I like to be outdoors and would love to have housemates that share similar interests with me - I practise daily meditation, yoga and exercise , I don't really watch tv and love to chat, read books and have a wine over dinner sometimes - Just looking for my tribe that share similar values, respect and like to adventure (wherever)
Hi there! I work full time as a personal carer supporting people with brain injuries. I also study part time doing psychology/social science. I have great references as I always pay bills and rent on time, keep a very clean and organised home and get on well with people. I enjoy reading, the beach, socialising, hanging out with friends and art. I am mostly quiet at home in my space, however will sometimes have a friend or two over to watch a movie or something. If you are a quiet person or a party person I can adjust to either!
WHAT MAKES ME GREAT TO LIVE WITH: I pay my bills on time. I am not judgemental and I am very understanding. I am super open-minded. I am a clean freak although I do not expect my housemates to be the same. I love good food, vibes and a drink from time to time! ABOUT ME: I work in the mining industry and love what I do. This can mean long hours and working most days. Even still I do pull my weight around the house and keep on top of chores, I’m hardworking and very respectful towards people. Interested in building good friendships and a nice place to stay so we can all come home to a welcoming place. I’m very approachable so feel to contact me at anytime if you would like to discuss anything further!
G’day, my name is Chris. I work 8-5 in South Melbourne, so I’m looking to move closer than where I currently am to break the trip up a bit. I enjoy a drink after work or just a chat, so ideally a place where people like to socialise would suit me, but happy to have alone time too. Up for Team Ups too. :)
Hi, I'm from Perth and have moved to Melbourne. I am vegetarian and have lots of interests around health, and the environment. I am semi-retired and will be studying natural health to set up my own practice. I am looking for a granny flat or self contained studio, or a house share with one other mature female where I can have my own bathroom. Must be NON-Smoking. I would prefer south-east Melbourne. I enjoy a good conversation and cuppa, while liking my own company and space. I don't use toxic chemicals and keep my own area clean and contribute to joint spaces. I am looking for a quiet home that is restful, clean and secure.
Studying architecture, and work part-time in retail. I'm generally quite busy between work and uni, that being said would like to bond over tv shows, film, music, food, wine and the like! I'm easy-going, keep things clean/tidy and respect privacy. Believe anything can be solved with good communication!
I am a sociable and tidy person but who also likes and respects peoples privacy. I am told I can be quite funny lol at times....! Not intentionally I hasten to add. I am a busy person and out a lot. I am a non smoker also. I have returned from the Uk in an extended visit home and am currently temping in the city whilst securing a permanent position. I am an ex flt attendant and fully first aid trained should the need arise lol! I also require convenient access to public transport as I don’t drive. Very important. In addition I have quite a few clothes/shoes so require decent wardrobe space...oh and a bed as I sold mine before returning to the Uk! Thankyou for considering my listing Christine
Hi everyone. My name is Stan. I have a spare room in my current house that I am renting but I am looking into moving to some thing more modern by the end of April and from my research would be looking into renting something in the range of $500-$600 and would be looking to share costs 50/50 or there abouts. I work shift work on average 3 days a week sometimes more and when I do I generally I'm working until 11 at night or I'm doing night shift through the night so if you would normal hours you would have the place for a decent amount of time to yourself and vice versa. When I'm not working I'm generally catching up on my chores walking or running my dog or doing some other form of exercise and currently planning to do my first half marathon later this year. My partying days a pretty much over still don't mind the odd night out maybe every 2 months or so but I don't really drink at home at all and seeking someone that also is pretty quiet in that respect. I am a huge animal lover as mentioned I do have a medium sized staffy x dog and also a cat. My cat is mostly inside and my dog is generally inside 50/50 when I'm home and would want someone that is understanding with this, given this my pets do generally leave a trail of fur/hair through the house which I will be responsible for but don't expect to be doing all the cleaning all the time due to this . I do try to keep things clean as best possible, sometimes it hard with my long hours and I'm hoping to find a place with a dishwasher to make this easier. I am generally a pretty happy go lucky person and I love to have a chat and a joke but I want place the importance on finding a honest, reliable, responsible and mature person to share with and given we will probably be total strangers and due to some less than ideal share experiences in the past, I will request you provide a police check and I can also provide the same. Thanks for your time and if you think you might be suitable flatmate please don't hesitate to contact me :) Please message if I sound like a good fit for you :)
Im clean and i keep to myself. I like socialising occaisionally. I work 5 days a week but my roster changes so the times are different. Im a respectable person always up for a chat and dont mind keeping to myself. I have a kitten who is toilet trained. And small. You wont even notice shes there.
I am a 27 year old female. I work full time as a qualified Veterinary Nurse. I am an easy going, bubbly, happy, genuine and trustworthy person. I enjoy living in share houses and the company. I also enjoy time to myself. I live a busy life and I don’t seem to be home too often. I am a clean and tidy housemate. I am very respectful of others and I enjoy building new friendships with my housemates.
Hi I'm Philipp! Just arrived from Germany starting a work & travel year here in Melbourne looking for a cozy place to call home. I look forward to exploring the country and meeting new people, and to be honest I might not be in the home that often. I go also to the gym regularly and take care of myself. Living with other housemates would be great Thank you in advance Philipp
I've recently moved to Melbourne from Tasmania and am studying Occupational Therapy full time in Frankston. I'm specifically looking for somewhere along the Frankston train line (5-10 mins walk or bike) so I have easy access to uni and can occasionally ride home but also to family further up the bay. I'm quiet, considerate, respectful and clean up after myself. I've lived in share housing before and always got on well with my housemates. While I like to be social and have a chat, I also enjoy my own space, particularly as I now spend most of my time studying. I will tend to go home for my uni breaks (10 weeks on then 2 weeks off) so there will be a fair amount of time that I won't be around. I like staying active and go walking/cycling to have a break from the books. I also enjoy camping, travelling and a good pub trivia night. I'm not much of a drinker but will have the occasional social drink and I'm not a party person. I'm looking for somewhere to live with quiet, considerate people in a comfortable and relaxed space. I would prefer to be somewhere where the bills were included in the weekly rent. Looking forward to hearing from you Jodi
Me and my brother are looking for a place because of my current situation i'm currently staying in a youth refuge my brother wants to move out of where hes staying so we can find a place together. i'm currently unemployed. i get Centrelink every fortnight. the youth refuge i'm currently staying at will be helping me to find a job and can also provide bond and rent assistance. me and my brother are both outside smokers we're easy going people and like to have good chats. if anyone could help us out :)
I am neat, tidy, reliable and trustworthy. I work full time in the child care industry. Monday to Friday. I will be travelling overseas this year. So I won’t be home for a couple of weeks in late April and late June.
Hey guys, I easy going, I enjoy the outdoors or chilling with a movie. I like to keep my living space clean, apart from that I’m a communicator who enjoys getting to know people. I do travel a lot for work so you might find some weeks I’m not about. I’m also open to a team up! Cheers
I'm a 27 year old working full-time mostly from home so I'd need somewhere relatively quiet during the day. I love a beer and a chat but also understand everyone needs their own space sometimes. I'm clean but not pedantic about others' cleanliness (within reason) and very easy-going. I'm a total film geek and play piano and ukulele. I will probably laugh at your jokes even if they're terrible.
I am a friendly and laid back person, who is a bit of a home body but loves to go out for brunch and the occasional day trip. I am tidy but not OCD with cleaning, happy to sort out a cleaning rotation to keep the place looking nice if that's a priority for you. Would love to get to know my new flat mate with some wines and netflix binges, however am very respectful of personal space. I work as a Nurse/Midwife so have stable income and work rotating shifts. You will have plenty of alone time if you work the more conventional 9-5 hours, as I work at least 2 weekends per month. Am looking for a comfortable and welcoming household to settle into for at least 1 year. Feel free to message me with any questions.
