I am an easy going and clean person to live with. Happy to have my own space or socialized. I understand that after a long day at work you might want to be left alone. I work full time, non smoker and enjoy an occasional drink or two. Looking to get somewhere to move in mid January. The budget is negotiable depending on the location and also if I could have a covered parking for my car. I wouldn't mind an unfurnished or furnished place as I have items in storage that I could use if the place is unfurnished or I am more than willing to bring in some furniture or appliance from my storage if required.
Hi, I am Chantel. I am 20 years old and I just got a new job at Westfield Carindale so I'm looking to move somewhere close to there. I am a friendly, easy going person who is pretty quiet but never boring. I have graduated university with a Bachelor of Arts in applied theatre and enjoy watching movies and playing video games. I'm a huge animal person so anyone with pets is fine with me :) I have a pet cat with me at home and would love to be able to bring him with me instead of leaving him with my parents, he is super friendly with people and other animals and has a very funny personality. I'm very clean and always do my share. I am very respectful towards other people and their possessions and get along with people who are the same.
Hello! I'm looking for a room to rent while I continue my study at Griffith Uni. I'm someone who enjoys having a chat in the kitchen, perhaps with a glass of wine so I want to move in with people I will get along with. I also enjoy my time alone so I am big on respecting each others spaces so don't worry about that :) I'm a tidy and relatively quiet person and I enjoy to bake occasionally. I do spend some time out of the house usually on weekends at my boyfriends place so I won't be home all the time. Mostly just looking for a household I can live comfortably in while I continue my university career :)
Hey guys! My partner, dog and I are planning to move out and we would love someone to move in with us. About us: G'day, my name is Penny Higginbotham, I am a 23 year old female and am studying a bachelor of international tourism and hotel management. I play a lot of volleyball (indoor and beach) and I also reff and coach indoor volleyball. I also work part time as a kids swimming instructor. I have a beautiful 3 year old malamute cross german shepard called Mishka, she is absolutely amazing and she was originally acquired as an emotional support animal. I am in a long term relationship with Lachlan who is a 19 year old male. Lachlan is currently undertaking math components at university in order to study an engineering course. Lachy is currently seeking employment, he loves a good gaming session and he may be 19 but he has a soul of a 60 year old. We promise to never make you feel like a third wheel, we behave a lot more like mates than a couple. We are currently looking at places in the suburbs listed. Some of our prerequisits are: House related: Must be less than 20 minute drive to Griffith's Nathan campus Must have 3 bedrooms (of course) Must have 2 bathrooms (can be 1 bathroom + ensuite) Penny requires the master bedroom in order to fit her king size bed and Mishka Must be fully fenced People related: We're not able to live with anyone who smokes (cigarettes and other) We're not able to live with anyone who partakes in any other form of drugs Must be ok with Penny not wearing pants around the house (I promise to always wear undies though) Some of our preferences are: Built in wardrobes in rooms Males to move in with us (it's fine if you're a female, as long as you're ok with me not wearing pants 95% of the time - I always wear briefs though!) No other pets (Mishka does get along with other animals but it is preferable that she is the only animal) Basically we want to live in a house that isn't gross, that's fair right? I've got a number of house inspections booked during this week, if you are interested, please message me and you're more than welcome to come along. Also message me if you would like to meet either myself or myself and lachlan or even myself, lachlan and mishka. Looking forward to hearing from you! Penny
I am a young student at Griffith Nathan, looking to move with my cat Finn into a lovely home with wonderful housemates. I am very tidy and usually keep to myself but also enjoy socialising with friends and housemates.
I am a self sufficient and easy going. I am moving to Brisbane for study and am in need of accommodation. I'm a bubbly person with a lot personality. From Townsville so its a big move and trying to find the best location that takes distance from l work ad school into consideration.
Clean, considerate and respectful housemate. Primary teacher who loves to travel. I enjoy staying fit and healthy. Up for an occasional drink and good conversation. I'm looking for a relatively modern place in the Eastern suburbs with a private room and private bathroom.
Hi, I've recently moved to Brisbane for work. I'm an easy going person and want to live in a sociable and intelligent environment. I work casual hours. Im ok with other housemates having people around or making as much noise as they like as long as your a decent person. No cats! but any other animals are more than welcome :)
Very clean and tidy. Respects people's space and privacy, reliable and flexible 23year old male very easy to get along with :)
We are both mature respectful and reasonable people who like to live a quiet lifestyle as we both dont drink . We are outgoing and do our best to keep everyone happy. More than happy to keep our area in the house clean and contribute to keeping the rest of the house clean, more than happy to cook and share a meal and a chat and do what is expected of a good tenant. Currently unemployed and are on government benefits due to our move back from toowoomba so we need to find accomodation as fast as we can but that dosent affect our ability to pay rent and we are actively looking and will take the first opportunity but dont let that change your mind about us as tennants. We are expecting a baby in march and im finding that can be a problem to most people so if you have a room to offer us without that being an issue we will be forever thankful and appreciative dont assume we need ridiculous ammounts of space because of this because we dont we just need a normal sized room pleasw if you can help and offer us something we would love to hear from you thanks for reading this and considering us as tennants.
Hi I'm dan, im 27 and I'm a project manager for a civil construction company.. I fly to Sydney and Adelaide for 3 or 4 days most weeks so I won't be home all the time.. I'm fun and adventurous.. I'm a clean house kinda guy and love pets, though I don't have any and enjoy a drink on the weekends
My name is Elka and I'm 20 years old. I'm currently a casual employee for the Australian Taxation Office, however I work guaranteed full-time/part-time hours. I am a creative, I make art, play music and sing. I write, too. I enjoy a glass of wine or a beer pretty much every evening, love being out and about, love making nice breakfasts at home and I also like to keep fit and active. I love talking to and getting to know people, roadtrips, going to little gigs and I don't mind a house party here and there but am definitely not a clubber. I start uni in February 2017 as well so I really will barely be home. I'm single but looking so might have a few dates over but I definitely maintain and respect privacy. Would love to find some housemates to have a drink with, actually be friends with, go on random drives with - just nice people who can actually contribute to a good lifestyle! I am looking for a reasonably sized bedroom with AIR-CONDITIONING and the rent MUST be bills included (as I can't handle unforeseeable costs.) A pool would be a plus! Curse these Australian summers.
Starting a new job in Brisbane and need to make the move up from the Gold Coast. I am mostly looking to team up and rent fresh with someone as I own a lot of furniture myself. I'm easy going and always up for a chat. I have a girlfriend although she does not live with me, usually spend the weekend with her at her place or she spends with at mine. Prefer to be looking at places within 20mins of the city and with a garage for my car. Message me if interested :)
My name is Jonelle and I am syarting university on Brisbane next year. I would like to find a place that has a friendly environment and has people who are hard working and easy to get along with. Please don't hesitate to message me if you have a room fre or are interested in teaming up etc. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi there, We are a couple 30 & 31 looking for a place to call home for the next 6 - 12mths. We work hard during the week so on the weekends we catch up on sleep, visit family and friends. Looking for somewhere that has enough space so we can have our own space however we are social as well and like catching up on chats. We have a ute, however I work in the city so close by public transport will be great.
I work full time and am clean quiet and have great references. I'm english and moving over to brisbane to work full time in the CBD doing recruitment from January. I am looking for quiet, commutable property that I can relax in after work and on weekends.
I'm tidy, respectful, hygienic, honest and self reliant. I'm a qualified sparkie with a reliable job, I like 4x4ing and riding moto, Iv always lived in tarragindi but don't mind living elsewhere. I like socialising but can also respect boundarys and can analyse situations quite well, i have no dept meaning I can pay rent on time every time, I don't smoke and am out most weekends. I'm a team player and can get along with pretty well anyone. I hope too find a genuine group of people with the same attitude as myself, keen too move out sooner then said date if need be, feel free too msg me, I'm pretty easy going cheers.
Jon is a full time student studying Chemistry at QUT. Thienna is completing Travel and Tourism studies at TAFE and will be working part time in the industry. We are friendly, tidy and reliable! We love to cook, watch strange movies and listen to all-the-music. We spend most of our time studying so you probably won't hear from us much but we're always up for friendly banter or some DNMs. We're very relaxed and all we really want is to live with people who clean up after themselves and won't eat our food! Ideally we would like a big room with our own bathroom and somewhere not too far from the city. Our budget combined is $250 max a week. Thanks for your interest :)
I'm an easy going 28 year old professional looking for a female flatmate to co-sign a lease with for at least 6 months, somewhere within the inner suburbs of Brisbane. I currently have a house full of furnishings/appliances so I can bring as much or as little as we would need. Ideally I would like to move into a House, Townhouse or large Apartment with min. 3 bedrooms so that there is a spare room for any possible guests. Also somewhere that is walking distance to cafe's and shops would be ideal! A little more about me: - I was born right here in Brisbane and work in an Operations position within a construction company. - I am a non-smoker and don't do drugs. - I do not have pets or children. - I'm sociable, however I do like my own space as well. - I'm not a big drinker, but do enjoy a nice mojito every now and again :) - I love to cook and enjoy going to fresh food markets. - I'm extremely tidy and like to be in a clean environment. Would be happy to share the cost of a cleaner every fortnight. - On the weekends I enjoy spending time with my family and friends which usually involves meeting up at a cafe for brunch and going to my parents house at the coast. - My closest friends are all married with kids so it would be great to find a flatmate who I could form a new friendship with. If you are a similar fit to the above and are looking for a flatmate like me, feel free to send me a message :)
Easy going full time working professional (IT / Projects) looking to house share within Brisbane region. Clean and Tidy and social personality but also always respect my flatmates space. Good with pets (especially dogs! lol) and easy working in with flatmates when it comes bill sharing, etc. I commute to CBD daily for work so would be great to find a place close to train lines. Originally from NZ and been in Brisbane for almost 3 yrs now, during the week i'm pretty boring (lol) normally just busy working, gym, and a little study or TV comprises my daily routine, but on weekends love to get out to the Sunshine Coast or GC when is sunny, or hit the local and watch rugby / sports. As mentioned I'm super laid back and respectful as a flatmate, and looking to fit in with a cool bunch who would hopefully end up awesome mates as well as flatties! Feel free to ask me any questions.
I'm currently studying to become a personal trainer and i work at night. after traveling i'm very organised and don;t like the house to be in a clutter. also new to Brisbane so don't know many people at all.
I keep to myself but happy to live in a more social home. I clean up my messes, can handle my own laundry and so forth. I'm useless with cooking though so a microwave is a must, haha! I work nightshifts and that includes weekends, so I'm not bringing home parties every weekend. As I am a smoker, don't fret, I already smoke outside not within the home :) I have a car, it's not obnoxious but I do come home generally around 1am so if you're a light sleeper living together might not be ideal as I'm more active/awake until the early hours most often and sleep during the day. I'm not after a furnished room as I have my own furniture :) if the room has a ceiling fan even better! Haha. Unfortunately at this time I can't really stretch past $150 per week unless it includes bills and internet ($165 max)
I am a 21 year old female currently living in Capalaba, and am looking to move as my lease is ending in December/January. Looking for somewhere in the surrounding Capalaba suburbs. Am currently studying Biomedical Science at UQ, love cats, and a good chat. Am super friendly, enjoy a few bevvies every now and then, and like going to the gym and swims to keep fit :3
Hello Everyone, We're two very good friends looking place to live. Very tidy, friendly & busy with our routines... First preference is two or three bedroom apartment or unit or a house to live. (Furnished or Unfurnished) Second can have two bedrooms in a same place to share with other housemates. (Furnished) In any of above cases, bills should be included as our maximum budget is not more than $370/week altogether. We do have our cars so parking is a plus point for us. In our free time, we normally watch Netflix and travel around.. Moving date before 15 December... Please contact with details & keep in mind above requirements before contacting us. Thank you so much.. :)
I just lost my job but I am looking for a new one. I am a very quite person at start but once you get to know me I'm a very nice guy. I like to bike ride go to the gym and I am a full on nerd. I am really neat and tidy person always cleaning up after myself.
I'm quite shy but once I get to know someone, I generally become fun and bubbly person to be around. I'm moving because of study and a new environment, I want to start fresh. I've only ever worked in Cafés and McDonalds. I'll be looking for retail jobs or waitressing/bar-work while I live in Brisbane. I'll be doing a bridging course at Mount Gravatt TAFE (Screen and Media) and will hopefully be attending QUT (Bachelor of Creative Industries) in 2018. Ideally looking for a place to stay longer than 6 months. During the days I'll either be studying, working or most likely keeping to myself. I'd love to live with someone I can get along with socially but I'm still rather independent and respect everyones privacy. But overall I'm really excited for the move and hope to find some like minded gal(s) to live with while I'm there. Looking to move in at any point in January as I'll be starting my study on the 30th of Jan. My budget is a maximum of $200 per week. I'm looking for a room or flat that is unfurnished as I have all of my own furniture for my own room and plan on bringing it all with me (Bed, drawers, bookcase, side tables, desk, etc.) Furnished share homes/apartments are cool, so long as the room I'll be shacking up in has space for all my stuff 😅
I'm currently in the process of moving from Cairns to Brisbane to syudy at Griffith University. I am looking for something close to the campus with like minded people, preferably clean and tidy. I enjoy nature, gardening, live music and entertainment, art and sustainable/ healthy living. Vegetarian.
Hi my name is Cindy..29 yo healthcare professional..I think I am pretty great to live with (my previous housemates can verify..hehe..) I am friendly and laid back. I work a lot (6 days a week) so I am quite busy..and in my down time I like to go for a walk, listen to music/play acoustic guitar, read, or going out and about with some friends...I am happy for a relaxing chat over dinner afterwork or sunday breakfast/coffee. I also respect when people need their own space and down time. I see myself as considerate and clean/tidy (adult common sense..hehe). Look forward to hear from you
I am a very friendly and outgoing person. On a weekend i most likely will be out and about having diner or a cocktail. But at the same time I can be very geeky attending nerdy festivals dressed up in silly costumes. Im not one to stand on someones toes, i like to give people space so i expect the same in return.
My name is Jess, I am a 23 year old podiatry student who works full time. I am great to live with as I am easy going, tidy and respectful of others. I am a non-smoker and have no pets. I am friendly and always up for a chat but respect that others like their space as well. I have a full house of furniture so am happy to bring whatever is needed in the house :) If I sound like someone you could live with please email me I enjoy traveling, kickboxing and keeping active. I'm rarely home of a weekend as I am always out and about. I like the occasional drink with dinner but am too busy for a party animal life style.
I am good company, just looking to move out of home. If you're interested in travel, we will be best friends for sure. I like to eat healthy so there will always be free fruit in the fridge and i definitely like keeping things like the kitchen nice and tidy (dishwasher preferred ahah)
My sister and I are looking at moving to Brisbane in the next few months. I work full time for a company and plan to transfer, while my sister has just come back from working in the USA and is hoping to find full-time work. We are both very social and familiar with shared living.
From Brisbane 19 y/o studying to be a trauma surgeon at Griffith University. I work bar and bistro at a tavern in bellbowrie. I have a 4 month old dog and so am looking for a pet friendly household. I'm clean and love to cook. Really just want nice housemates who are fun to hang out with. Have a lot of furniture so would prefer to start fresh in a new place rather than move into an already active share house.
Friendly, easy going, fairly quiet though enjoy banter and conversation, house trained, veggie. About to start a psych degree. Vipassana meditator. Non smoker.
Currently living in the Redlands and looking for a change in scenery. I'm Hoping to find a good roommate or group of people who are fun to be around, fairly tidy and don't mind a drink or two on the weekends. I work full time throughout the week and leave early in the morning. Im clean and tidy and although I like to hang out and chat with the people in my household, I know when to give each their own space. I'm a graduate Linguist working Part-time the in CBD who is returning to full-time uni once again! I'm a great cook, love the gym, vegan, musician and an overall chilled out person.
