Hey, I’m Jess! I moved out of home and into one sharehouse years ago, and now need to find a new place to live. I’m a full time student at Deakin, so I want to live somewhere close to it, and I work part time as a pharmacy assistant. I want to live with people who I can be friends with. The plan is that each time I come home I feel free in my choices to go hang out in my room or to hang out with people in common areas, ideally with some times where we are all choosing to be together. I’m a pretty simple person to live with—I read, I watch movies and tv, I like music but don’t have any instruments to subject you to, I like having desserts to share with people. Here’s hoping that we’re able to live together!
Heya! I'm Callum. I'm moving from Canberra to Melbourne to study Journalism at Deakin University. I just returned from 6 months travelling around South America, North America and Europe staying in hostels so I'm pretty adaptable to any personalities. I love podcasts, video and boards games and going out dancing with friends. If you want a reliable, chill and friendly housemate I'm your dude.
Hi, we're four Monash Uni students from rural Victoria. We've been living on res for the past 2 years and would now like a bit more space. We love a nice cuppa and plants. Hoping to find a 4 bedroom somewhere near Monash University and public transport. Thanks 🌿
Clean students, who love a chat and movie nights. All with stable incomes to pay rent. Moving up from Hobart, desperately looking for a place before University starts (2 of us are studying at Monash)
Hi there! I'm a 23 year old international student from Singapore studying engineering at Monash University. 2019 will be my 3rd year in Monash and in Melbourne. For the past two years I have lived on both on-campus accommodations and shared a house with a couple of friends. However, as one of my housemates decided to move out at the end of the contract, we all decided to do so too and am now looking for a room in a share house. I am a really neat and tidy for a guy (trust me, I really am) and I spend quite a lot of time at home. I own a car so I will require street parking and I occasionally do my own servicing work on the car. I am mostly quiet but once I get comfortable with you guys, I can be quite the outgoing guy. I play for the Monash Caulfield soccer team so if you're into soccer too, we can definitely play some games and maybe even willing to invest in a PS4 and get some FIFA sessions going. I work part time as a soccer coach on the weekends for extra cash and my parents fund my studies and accommodation so you don't have to worry about me not paying rent and bills on time. Would prefer a furnished room but doesn't matter that much. I am currently in Singapore on holiday and for an internship and will only return in Melbourne on the 3rd of March. I am willing to start paying the rent from the 23rd of Feb as that is when the contract for my previous rental ends. Since I will not be able to inspect the house personally, I would like if you could have a video call so that you can show me around the house and we can get to know each other slightly better than if we were just contacting through flatmates. I could also get a friend to help inspect the place if needed. Looking forward to hearing from you guys!
I'm a friendly person that can have a good chat. I love my sport & music & love my family/friends. I'm organised and like to keep busy, but also like my alone time. I work casually at AFL games, and with EWG, working at events. I will be studying at Holmesglen this year, studying a degree of sports media. I’d love roommates that are trusting and caring, and have a good sense of humor. This will be my first time living away from home so might take me a little while to get used to that. Would prefer having just 1 roommate, or 2 at max, but would be okay with a family.
I am working, studying and playing sport full time. I am very easy going, clean around the house and hardly home due to a busy schedule. Looking to move between now and April :)
Hi there! I am currently seeking a medium term share house. Ideally I would like to rent a place by myself, but I don't yet have the required start up funds, so I am seeking a share situation for approximately 4-6 months as an interim solution. I don’t own a car, so public transport options are important, particularly train lines (faster than trams!). Over the Christmas break I have been inbetween jobs, but come late January/February I will be doing a combination of work, study, music rehearsals & other activities - so I will be occupied & with income - always a bonus! When I am at home I mostly like to relax and rejuvenate. I love cooking, baking, board/card games, pool, music, theatre, culture, reading, sleeping, parklands, crime dramas, and animals. I would be keen to live with people who share similar interests. Not too fussed on age and I am totally accepting of different lifestyles. I drink very rarely - I am not opposed to living with someone who drinks just not heavily. I would prefer a non-smoking household as well. I always pay rent/bills on time and I am extremely clean and tidy. I have lived in share houses for over 10yrs, so I understand the importance of respect and communication. References are available.
(Looking for someone with a monthly budget for rent between $500 - $650) We’re three eccentric gals in our mid-20s working that full time life. Our home is an introvert cave and we do our partying in the big wide world. We’re hoping to find a fourth to bring balance to the force when we look to move in March/April around the East/South-Eastern suburbs. We’re looking between Malvern East, Glen Waverley and Box Hill around the $500 a week/$2k a month figure. We’re looking to move from our three-bedroom shack to something more spacious in the 4 bedroom department with good value for money and not too much yard. Also we’ve got pretty much any and all communal furniture you’d need but if you come equipped with a fridge that wouldn’t go astray. ** A bit about us: ** * Brea is a creative that loves cats, keeping healthy, and video games. She works for DHHS in a pretty stressful job and values a place she can come home to and de-stress. If Brea could choose to be an animal she’d best suit a cat... or a blob fish. In a new rental Brea would like somewhere with a master bedroom and ensuite, which she is happy to pay a larger quarter for. * Gem is also a creative and spends her time making art, gardening, listening to podcasts and watching YouTube. She photographs events and is often out and about in her free time. Gem says if she was an animal she’d be a sloth. * Penny is completing the last year of her PhD and actively trying to not rip her hair out. She’s a bit of a socialite and she’s either out with friends or at the gym in her free time. Penny decided she’d be a naked mole rat. ** About you: ** We’re looking to meet a someone who is either working full time or is completing their post-grad studies and working on the side. Preferably someone in their mid to late 20s but if you’re a bit out of the bracket, send a message anyway. We want someone who is considerate, liberal-minded, easy-going and house-trained. We don’t follow a cleaning roster and aren’t clean-freaks about it but we expect everyone to do their part and help each other out. Gender doesn’t matter, we just want to find someone who we click with! Ideally we’re looking to pay about $500-$650 a month each with the rent split, so we’re looking for someone also in that budget. We’re queer-friendly and pet friendly too provided your furry/feathery/scaly friend has manners. Brea is a vego and Pen is vegan, and Gem eats whatever. Whether people cook meat or not isn’t a big deal for us. We have our own respective partners who visit every now and then or we’ll be off at theirs. It’s a house courtesy to let folks know when someone is going to be visiting just to give a heads up. We’d rather no couples to be living-in. We want to find a person who we can lock in and welcome into the fold. If things are looking good we’d love to share a meal and see how things go. Send a message and tell us a bit about yourself (and if you were an animal, what one would you be?).
Easy going and down to earth. Enjoy hanging out with mates at home and out. Looking for somewhere to stay put while I finish my course in 18 months time. I don’t smoke but have been known to enjoy a beverage or three on occasion. Ideally looking for a place with one additional housemate but would be happy to compromise for the right place and people. Happy to consider finding a new place with someone as well.
A new uni student looking for somewhere to stay while at uni. I have a twin sister who is also looking for a place, if we could live together that would be great, but if separated that’s fine too. I have a ginger cat who is lazy and doesn’t shed hair.
Girl in her early 20's, moving from the country to Melbourne for study and career opportunities. I am neat and very considerate of other peoples personal space. I can cook and love to garden and keep house plants and I am quite handy around the house. I have a friendly 2 year old male German Shepherd named Finn who loves people and fetch, I am more than happy to introduce him first. Finn will need a reasonable sized back yard with good fences to keep him safe. Finn is house trained, but will only come inside if it is in the interest of all occupants. (I have a very good vacuum!). I am also open to living with other people's animals, as long as they are well cared for. My hobbies include art, gardening and I play a couple of instruments for fun when I get the time. I would like to live with people who love animals, and who I can become friends with and hang out with in some of our spare time as I am a social person and like to make connections. I love to go to gigs and meet new people, I only drink occasionally. I like to stay organised with my finances so bills will always be paid on time. I would prefer at least one other female occupant. If you have any further questions feel free to contact me!
I’m studying a Bachelor of Sports Media and looking for some form of work too. I’m pretty easy-going, usually spending time on my laptop, listening to music or watching tv and/or sport. Pretty flexible in regards to future living conditions. Also don’t drive yet so dependent on public transport.
Hi I'm Ned, I'm a 21 year old honors student moving from Tasmania to Melbourne to study at Monash. I'm looking for shared accommodation, I'm financially secure and happy to pay rent in advance. Socially I'm fairly laid back, spend most of my time studying and am happy to assist with any housework and chip in for any shared expenses
International Student at Monash University, taking Masters in Advanced Chemical Engineering. Easy to live with and approach. Looking for a place close to Monash Uni Clayton (WALKING DISTANCE) as I'll be conducting most of my studies on campus. I'm mostly looking for a place to sleep, eat and relax. Will be moving to Australia by February 21, looking for accommodations with contracts for at least 6 months and above.
Hi I'm Delinda, I am currently working full time as a nurse whilst studying postgrad. I am a very laid back person, enjoys chats/wholesome activities but also enjoys some quiet time. Prefers to live in a chill and clean environment! I love animals, don't personally have one but don't mind living with one.
Hey I’m Jesse, 27 year old Apprentice Plumber. I’m pretty quiet through the week and I’m very clean and tidy. I’m a fairly active person so I try and get to the Gym at least 3-4 days a week. I enjoy cooking, reading, playing guitar and the occasional social drink.
