Hi Everyone, My name is Taylor, I’m 23 years old. I both work and study full time. Due to my university studies I’ve decided to make the move up to Brisbane and experience the big city lifestyle. Looking forward to sharing accommodation with flatmates who are lovely, down to earth people. Thanks Tay
You’ll probably hardly ever see me some days, I’m in my last year of uni studying exercise physiology, work in sports and remedial massage, and am also doing an internship at a Rugby League club. On weekends I’m usually at the beach, having some quiet drinks, catching up with friends, or watching some type of sport. I’m very easy going, happy, clean and friendly. I’m usually always up for a chat, but also love my downtime! Feel free to send to me a message if it sounds like I’d fit into your home or if you have any other questions :)
Hi, my name is Sam. I’m just returning home after working in Europe for two years. I am returning to full time work in Brisbane as children’s counselor and am looking for a place to call home for about 6-12 months from Feb 4th. I might be working some night shifts during the week, but I am always super quiet if I get in late! I’m a super social, relaxed, clean person. Happy to live in a social household or a quiet one. Love animals, weekend markets and spending time with my friends and family.
I'm a physiotherapist turned researcher/university tutor starting at UQ in Feb. Currently from Sydney but relocating in the next month. I really enjoy exercising and spend a fair bit of time at the gym. I love a neat and tidy place and always keep my home clean with plenty of Kmart binges to deck the place out nicely. I have a 2 year old small dog named Bentley, he is completely housetrained and has always lived in units/apartments. He's very chilled and generally spends the day sleeping on my bed after coming out for a run with me every morning. I'm pretty laidback, would love to have a good relationship with my housemate to make the place into a home but also respect boundaries and privacy. I'm looking for something clean and modern, pool desirable! Up for either teaming up to sign a new lease or moving into existing place. I have a few places ready to go with applications/contact with agents that are 2bedders, furnished. Please get in contact if you're looking for something similar and ready to put applications in!

Hi there, my name is Chantelle and I am a 22 year old student from Cairns. I’m February I will be relocating to Brisbane to complete my honours in psychology at QUT, and I am very excited (and nervous) for the move. I am a conscientious student, however when I am not studying to working I enjoy a good book, glass of wine and catching up on downtime. I am kind, considerate and quiet, and I am also looking for flatmates that become friends. I’m passionate about books, mental health and enjoy a good discussion. At this stage I would be most comfortable in a female only situation. Please feel free to message me if you feel I might be a good fit for your home or if you have any questions about me.
Hi I'm Michael! I'm open to moving just about anywhere in Brisbane. I'm a Law/Arts student at Griffith University. I've only just finished my first semester there so I'll be studying for quite some time yet. I'm definitely keen to have a drink on some weekends and go out, but I also love to head to the beach for a swim and a surf. I love being outside, but I'm equally happy powering through movies/a tv series in a ridiculously short amount of time. I'm currently only working 10 hours a week, but I'll be doing some maths and physics study over the summer break to keep me busy. I'm also planning to increase my work hours, fit in some camping trips, and learn to code! I receive youth allowance fortnightly (and will soon receive rent assistance) as a full time student. Coupled with my income from part time work (or even without it), this is more than enough to cover all living expenses. Paying rent and bills on time won't ever be an issue! Please feel free to message me if you think I'd be a good fit for your place :)
I love music and pop culture and always up for a good time, I live in a small country town right now but I’m moving to Brisbane and start to study a graphic design course. I’m a full time outside smoker but I do like to keep my space nice and neat and I’m always willing to help out. ☺️
At long last I will be moving to Brisbane on the 9th of February. I would prefer a place close to the city center, as I will be working there (Adelaide Street). I am looking for a quiet place where privacy is not an issue, hopefully not too small and not too hot hopefully. Ideally with a fast internet connection and plenty of light, I am not a fan of gloomy places. As things stand my employers have already found me a place for the first month (**awaiting confirmation) so I am searching a place for 4 months (starting from the 11th of March up to the 18th of July. I should also note that my partner plans to come visit Australia for 2.5-3 weeks in April, so keep in mind that I'm looking for a place where couples are welcome. As for myself, I am a PhD student in computer science coming from Athens, Greece. I am going to be in Brisbane for 5 months for an internship, so most of my weekdays will be spent at work, but I still would love to meet people who would be willing to go out for a drink and explore the city with me during the weekend (especially the beaches). I really love music - I try to play the guitar from time and time and I'm also trying to learn how to sing at the moment. I also enjoy drawing, reading or just watching movies or series to chill before going to bed. However, I mostly enjoy the sun and being outdoors for a walk or coffee, I really can't handle staying inside for too long. I really love cats (my parents have cats) and dogs even more so (I used to have one), so if you have a pet it would be a great plus for me!
Hello! My name's Jackson, I'm 19 years old looking to find a quiet, easy going sharehouse to call home. I recently moved from Bundaberg to seek out more opportunity in the big city. I am reliable and always clean up after myself. I am a sociable and easy to get along with person, but I also enjoy my alone time. I like to spend my days outdoors exploring the city and going out for coffees with friends.
Hey guys/girls. I’m looking to move around the 8th of February. Hoping to find a clean and relatively quite place with easygoing/friendly housemates. I’m a 33 yo guy, working and studying engineering full time. Crazy busy and do a lot of FIFO work so not around very often but when I am,,, I’m quite, respectful clean and chill. Any spare time is taken up with diving and outdoorsy stuff, anyone’s welcome to join me if you like. If I sound like I might be a good fit, flick me a msg to set up a time for me to meet up and check it out.
Hi there, Originally from Melbourne, I am a part time student who has relocated to Brisbane to train full time for Triathlon at an elite level. I spend most of my days either training or studying. Fairly quite but enjoy catching up with friends, attempting to cook and spending time in the sun at the beach!
Hi, I'm Detti, I'm 18 years old and from Germany. I'm traveling through Australia on a working holiday visa and I'd love to get to know new people and make some friends. I absolutely love traveling, hiking, swimming, music and just being outside in the sun. I'm really flexible and easy going, happy to help wherever I can and I'm looking for a place to stay in Brisbane for about 1.5 months. :)
My name is Lily, I'm 23, and moved up to Brisbane from Melbourne to study next year at UQ. I like a good chat in common areas, and would prefer housemates I click with, but general cleanliness and respect is what I'm after the most. Ideally looking for a place with a cleaning roster so we can all be held accountable! I don't need a furnished room but don't have household items beyond bedroom furniture, so ideally looking for a team up with someone who might have a couch/fridge/washing machine etc, or a place that has these things already. I work at a gym so I do a couple of very early mornings a few times a week(starting at 4:45am) so I'm ideally looking for somewhere quiet enough for my early nights but people who sleep deeply enough to not be woken by me when I'm up at 3am getting ready(I try SO hard to be quiet). I'd love to find a place with a bit of cultural diversity and open-mindedness, with people down for a chat or who are on the same political and social page as me - this includes progressive thinking in regards to race, gender, sexuality, etc. Ideally not looking to live with cishet men, but exceptions can be made for people who are considerate and responsible.
I'm a happy Brisbane born and raised 34 year old gal looking for an inner north side place to call home. NB: If all the words below freak you out then feel free to move on, cos I'm a details girl :P I work full time in furniture and homewares sales. Have completed studies in floristry and interior design. Love an indoor plant here and there 🌱🌿 Equally happy relaxing at home (ideally on a breeze filled deck) or being a social butterfly out and about. I would not call myself a fitness person, but being on my feet all day helps keeps things in check and i'm hoping to getting back into yoga and salsa classes this year. I'm all sorted for my bedroom furniture (queen size room needed). I have the following items that I can contribute to the common areas but I don't have to bring them: 3 seat chocolate leather sofa; TV unit, Small and large storage buffets; furniture for a 2nd bedroom you could use, a few kitchen everyday basics and counter appliances. Possibly more furniture from family and I would also be happy to purchase other furniture/homewares through my work if need be. Living in a household of 2 - 4 people would be my pref, and if any partners also stay over a couple nights a week I don't mind as long as they are respectful lovely people, I'm supportive of people finding love :) A nice outlook from my room and the living area is important to me (bonus points for big trees) A large wardrobe, en-suite and off street parking is a must. Ideally... Aircon, ceiling fans and security flyscreens through out. And allllll for $240 odd a week!? That’s not asking for too much is it?! 🤣 Budget: $200 - $245 (plus bills) Move Date: Between now and April (as I could use my mums place as an inbetweener if need be) but IDEALLY the end of Jan / first week of Feb, as that would mean only 1 move which I'd prefer. Pets: I don't have any... but I love dogs of all sizes. NO CATS PLEASE... yes they're cute but unfortunately I'm allergic to them.
Hey, I'm Shila, I'm a 21-year-old female, full-time student at QUT, studying a Bachelor Degree in Secondary Education, and I work part-time at a cinema. I'm great at maintaining cleanliness, and sharing the workload of house chores.
Working full time as a receptionist in the valley. I’m social but not a party animal .I want enjoy a glass of wine and cook a yummy dinner with some friendly Flatmates and the occasional beach trip whilst having some privacy when I need!
Hello Early 30s male professional seeking a furnished room within 10km of the city. I've been living in the Valley for the past 6months but current lease has not been renewed by head tenant. I'am originally from Sydney and i'am looking for a minimum commitment of 4 months or till the end of June 2019. I live a fit and healthy lifestyle (non alcoholic/smoker) so preferably would like a household that is similar. I play a lot of tennis and beach volley in my spare time as well. Do the occasional hike and head to the beach. I describe myself as clean and tidy and easy to get along with. Would be a bonus if there are pets in the property. Would also prefer close access to public transport and car parking as i work in the city. cheers
Just arrived in Brisbane and super pumped to be closer to family and away from Melbs crappy weather. I’m very easygoing, independent, respectful and work for an accounting firm. I’m tidy and enjoy cooking, the outdoors, traveling, festivals, weekend adventures, keeping fit and eating healthy (apart from fat Friday’s). I’m not a party animal, a bit of brunch fan, new bars/venues, galleries, the odd wine during the week at home and believe laughter is the best medicine. I also love being around water, so during the warmer days I’ll either be at the pool or beach. Ideally I’m looking for an apartment along the river living with one other like minded person, balcony, pool, gym and I would need a car space of some kind. Please reach out me if you have any questions. Cheers Dee
